The little girl fled from the forest in tears. When she finally made it back home to her mother, she explained that she had encountered four strange beings beside a bramble bush in the forest, and that one of them had risen to grab her. Today we will be discussing the Ark Su

Sisson sing-along sighting. For today's anomalous sighting, we will be visiting the village of Arksou Sisson in France, which is really, really close to the Swiss border. On the afternoon of Monday, July 16, 1967, a five-year-old girl by the name of Patricia Beproix was walking with some friends of hers in the fields which surround this village. They were walking to the nearby pine forests. Little Patricia, however, got pretty far ahead of her friend group, and suddenly they saw her make an about face and come tearing back towards the village out of the forest all the way home, sobbing all the way. When she finally made it back to the safety of her mother, she told her that she had come upon several little humanoid beings, sitting near a bramble

bush and that one of this party had suddenly sprung up and made as though it was going to grab her. Shortly thereafter, a 10-year-old boy by the name of Remy Ravier saw what he described as a plume of smoke coming up from this bramble bush. Funny thing about this smoke, however, is that he described it as being this kind of yellowish, luminous, straight up and down vertical beam, almost like a beam of light. Now, Remy's older sister, 15-year-old Joelle Ravier, had heard about what Patricia had seen earlier that day of July 16, 1967, these three to four little beings which were sitting or hiding behind this bramble bush, and she wanted to see what she could see. So she and a friend, Marie Ren Mero, started off from Ark Su Sisson to the same spot where the children had been heading earlier that day. This field was about 400 meters away from the last of the houses of the village. Now, as soon as they came to this area where the bramble bush, the bramble bush of great mystery was,

they both claimed to see a strange being running from shrub to shrub. They described this creature as being completely dark, about a meter or roughly a little bit more than three feet high, with short legs that moved extremely fast. They also said that they couldn't make out any facial details, although you'll see from this sketch of the creature that along the line somewhere, someone added these kind of buggy eyes, and that it seemed to be wearing a short jacket that floated out behind it as it ran like a cape. It apparently ran behind this bramble bush and simply vanished from sight. Joel and Marie Wren then went over to the bramble bush to see if they

could see the little guy to no avail. He had simply vanished as soon as he made it behind the bramble bush. However, when they got to the bramble bush, they heard someone talking and what they described as a sing-songy voice. And it was this. rather than the sighting of the little guy in the cape, that terrified them so much that they went running back to town out of the woods. Six days after all of these sightings on July 16, 1967, on the 23rd of July, traces could still be seen around this bramble bush. These traces were about a dozen spots, again, around this bramble bush, busy place, that were this kind of dry, yellow straw-like consistency with an odor that was not described.

They also claim that a line of about six other spots like this were in kind of straight line leading to that particular bramble in the forest. Now, almost a week after the setting of the strange little man, however, these yellow patches of grass still gave off warmth, as opposed to the surrounding coolness of the regular green grass. Now, this is a funky little case, and according to the article, The Little Singing Creatures at Ark Susisant by Joel Mener, and translated by Gordon Crichton in Flying Saucer Review, there were a few other incidents in the area at roughly the same time. Two astronomers at the observatory at Bessincon claimed to see a luminous round object, which hovered and then took off at immense speeds the evening of the 17th, so the day after the Arksu-Sissant incident. And Arxus Sassan was also close, about 10 kilometers,

away from Evelet, where another UFO was reported roughly a month later on May 22nd of 1967. Now, as to the little guys spotted on April 16th in Arcto, Su Sisson, they bear strong similarities to another French case, that of the Cusac Devils, which occurred in August of that same year, 1967. Now, I will say that both of these cases have very strong similarities. They involve these strange, dark, in my opinion, kind of imp-like beings, being spotted in these pastoral areas, near a village, but kind of also on the border of woodland or farmland. I will say that both of these cases, too, involving, again, these imp-like dark beings, I would argue almost silhouette-like beings, do bear a strong similarity to traditional French imps, particularly, as noted in passport to Magonia by Jacques Vallet, the Farfadet, which are traditionally held to wear tattered clothing and be covered in dark fur, which our guy here is missing the fur, same with the Cusac Devils, but I often wonder if the description of these furry beings is kind of more of a reference to fuzzy beings, as in visually fuzzy. So they're not really covered in fur. However, their silhouette or their form appears kind of,

you can almost imagine it looking static as some sort of perhaps electromagnetic distortion. Again, that's kind of, I don't want to say a rickety peer, but it's definitely just some wild theorization, which also leads me into a segue. Wow, my computer really does not want me to record this little segue. way. This is literally my third attempt. It's like just totally glitched out on me each time. So I guess I'll keep it briefer than I was. Now on this channel we discuss or I discuss a lot of the very faith of the British Isles. And it's really important to note. And something that I kind of want to do, actually not kind of, I will do a longer

video on or maybe even a video series on in the future. It's going to take a lot of research and a lot of prep is that every culture does have a traditional or, I would call it a folkloric belief system on how to deal with anomalies, the unknown, other intelligences, whatever you want to call, what this whole research of the paranormal as we term it now is. And this is separate and oftentimes at odds with organized religious beliefs. And this case is a great example. I mean, French folklore is just simply populated by the Farfadat, the Lutin, the d'amblans, the fie, the fie, the fie, I could go on and on, but I'm probably butchering these pronunciations. So my apologies to anyone in my audience who speaks French.

So, yeah, this is a kind of longer running project that you guys can look forward to sometime in the future, hopefully sooner rather than later. But, yeah, just, you know, kind of covering that it's not just the British Isles, which do have an amazing tradition of the fairy faith, which has been recorded very well. It's what I'm most, you know, familiar with. but from fairies to vampires to yoki, every culture does have some folkloric belief system that I find really important not just in its own right, but also in dealing with modern anomalies, because we see these patterns popping up time and time again. So keep an eye out for that one. And after that long set of way, this is a very folkloric case.

You have this pastoral setting, the children setting out away from the village of Arsouc Sissant and heading into the bordering wilderness. Specifically, the bramble bush is a very strong folkloric motif specific to fairies. And it's really intriguing to me that it made such a strong appearance in each leg of this encounter. First, of course, little Patricia saw a whole group of these guys just sitting behind the bush. Then Remy saw the plume of smoke or beam of light, whatever you'd like to call it, coming up from the bramble bush. Then Joelle and Marie Wren saw the little guy vanish behind it or into it. it, not to mention the traces that were left near the bush well after the siting on July 16th,

1967. The other thing to note is that once again, we have this nucleus of an anomaly. It can be agreed that something was going on with this bramble bush. It's just that two of the witnesses or witness groups, I guess we could say, saw beings or a being, and one saw, again, for all intents and purposes, this light anomaly, which in my mind is kind of just a symbol that these things do appear to be both these nebulous light anomalies as well as actual more hard and fast forms. And the folkloricness of this case does not stop with Bramblebush. No, even the sing-song manner of speech, which so scared the two teenagers in the very last

encounter around this Bramblebush, really calls to mind the good folk, who seem to always be singing or humming or otherwise music-making about. something. This calls to mine another case which I cover the Little Spring Creek singers, where a man claimed to see these bizarre beings around a pretty classic UFO, which were making music. So I think it's really appropriate to end this episode with a direct quote from Gordon Crighton's post script to the translation of this article from Flying Sauce Review. Previous generations in all cultures and all parts of the world would have recognized these creatures for what they are. There would have been less silly talk about Martians.

four door. And these kids were walking towards it. And as they got closer, one of them goes, oh my God. God, the car got bigger since we were inside. And then another one goes, Oh, holy crap, it's an SUV now. And so I took another look at the car.

And I had to sort of take their word for it because I was looking at a tiny little car. And I thought, I think that thought creates reality. Because to the, um, to these kids. The car was really big. I'm not going to argue with them.
