Starting point is 00:00:00 Hey, son of a boy dad listeners, you can find every episode on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube. Prime members can listen, ad free on Amazon Music. Folks, you know what it is. Today's episode is brought to you by High Noon. This is the official drink in our minds of any season, but especially fall, where tailgates abound. And if you're the person that shows up with a single flavor pack of one of your favorites, whether it's peach, watermelon. Ron, what's your favorite flavor?
Starting point is 00:00:33 I mean, Passion Fruit has actually been tickling my fancy. And I don't mind to grapefruit from time to time. Grapefruit is a high noon vodka flavor. It's like an elite variant of grapefruit. And it's guilt-free, 100 calories, real fruit and no malt. No add, nor added, nor any added sugar. And it's funny you mention the grapefruit because I love the grapefruit too. And grapefruit is a very difficult flavor to pull off.
Starting point is 00:00:56 Yes. And yet because you know how good the ingredients are, in High Noon and how true they are to everything we want them to be, that grapefruit tastes delicious. I'm a big fan as well. I'm a vodka guy. You like the tequila, but we can cross over anytime we want. No, it's all great.
Starting point is 00:01:12 Everything is delicious with High Noon, and you can find something today at highnoonspirits.com. Should we start the show? I'm up for it. Let's do it. Harry. Welcome. What's up with that? What's up with what?
Starting point is 00:01:29 Is it tipping over still? You might want to move the sandbag? It's fine. I mean, I walked in and it fell over. Look at it. We'll see. Not us trying to come off hot off the high noon, Reed. Just making sure.
Starting point is 00:01:43 Yeah, this grump. Francis was just telling me about his private jet ride to Vegas, and you just absolutely nuked it with your fucking bad energy. I have a phenomenal energy. Show it, then. I'm ready to rip. I already got 11,000 steps today. Wow.
Starting point is 00:01:57 You walked here. May as well have. Can you give us? a clap and introduce the show, please? Sure. Now I'm just, now I'm mad. See, I was in a great mood and now I'm pissed. Nothing pisses me off more than when people say you're in a bad mood when you're
Starting point is 00:02:16 in a good mood. And you're like, I guess now I'm in a, I guess I'm in a bad mood now. I feel like if you were actually in a good mood, that's the type of thing that would have rolled off your shoulders. No, no, no. That's the one thing that gets me. Oh. You know, like you ever have like your parents ever do that?
Starting point is 00:02:30 Yeah. Like your mom would be like, what's wrong? What's wrong? Nothing was wrong. Nothing. Now it is, I'm being police by mother. Mother dearest is on my goddamn business infuriating. That is a big girl move.
Starting point is 00:02:45 Girls will do that to you. Oh, yeah. Of course. My beloved wife will hit me with that from time to time. What's wrong? Yeah. What are you so mad about? The fact that you, I knew you were going to ask that.
Starting point is 00:02:58 And that's what? Harry, I got something that'll turn that frown upside down for you. That's a big box. This is present Monday, as we all know and love. Right? Well, typically it's present Tuesday, but we can wait. Are you sure about that? We can rush present Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:03:16 You sure about that? I am. I'm positive. Well, it's the Tuesday episode, so technically it's present Tuesday. I suppose that's true. Ron, you got some fresh new kicks on there. It's present today. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Two days. I love those Jordan ones. I'm living in the present. I live in the present. I live in the moment. So every day is a gift. Well, I live in a life-sized version of today's present. And I'm going to give this one to Harry.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Oh, whoa. We got here. Is that the Airbus A321? Oh, my Lord. Neo. Hold on a minute now. What a treat. Hold on a minute now.
Starting point is 00:03:48 Delta is well. Oh, my Lord. This one's for Rhone. Whoa. Whoa. The Gemini 200. Rone gets the Boeing 760. 67 300 ER let's be honest
Starting point is 00:04:01 300 ER I love it hard ER Oh man Oh my god This is great Yeah buddy wow Beautiful model Beautiful Okay and ooh I got the air bus
Starting point is 00:04:17 Wow So here he gets the commuter Because he's in a bad mood You actually don't understand planes clearly Because this is also an airbus Oh okay all right well I didn't really look at it To be honest with you I wanted to cheer you up.
Starting point is 00:04:31 Good God, it's the Holy Grail. And look, there's some heft to this. I mean, these have some solid weight and a little bit of lube as well, which is nice. You always want a little lube on the plane. Quite greasy for some reason. Why are they so slick? Just slips through my hands. A lot of oil.
Starting point is 00:04:49 Oh, wow. Dude, these are actually sick as hell. If someone's broken, we would have no problem defending ourselves with these. I mean, these are actually... God, dude. This is like the real... This is a real deal. Yeah, it's the real way to the plane. Here, here, ting them together.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Yeah, a little tip. Do a little ting. A little tip to tip. Whoa, metal. Yeah, there you go. Isn't that nice? That's nice. Get your guys, get your guys stand set up.
Starting point is 00:05:17 This is a completely true to life. Scale-down version of... You know what the scale is? I would say... One to one. a fraction with a very large denominator. I got the A330-900 airbus. So is this one bigger?
Starting point is 00:05:39 Am I bigger than yours? Mine's a little bit bigger, I think. Mine's thicker, though. Yeah, yeah. Well, I'm just wondering if maybe yours is the one that has the upstairs or is mine the one, maybe neither of them. This is not having an upstairs.
Starting point is 00:05:49 The A380 has the upstairs. This has no upstairs. I have an A380 at my apartment. Does Delta have an A380 in their fleet? They don't. I want to. fly on that plane that has the bar on it. That's the A380. And that's Emirates?
Starting point is 00:06:02 Who has one of those? Yes. Those are the big dogs. Yeah. Yeah. I'm flying. That's the one that goes to like Dubai. I'm flying to, I'm flying Japan Air next week for the first time. Do you know what plane that is? I think it's a one million. Holy shit. It's the Nimbus 3,000.
Starting point is 00:06:17 It's an airbus, one million. I'm having a hard time getting my stand in. Mine's easy as hell. I think mine might be. I'm not touching it. I told you. to fix it before we started. You knocked my shit over. So I'm a little confused because I feel like my stand is, like I was fine with having the
Starting point is 00:06:34 smallest plane, but having the shittiest stand by a mile is not sitting well with me. Oh, nor is that plane. Mine looks like an IUD. You guys have nice wooden stands. Let's get these. And you have a contraceptive. Yeah, they need to be visible. flank those out a little bit wider
Starting point is 00:06:59 and we're gonna we'll hide Harry's mine can balance in between slide that quail back a little bit slide that pheasant back perfect oh yeah we're true Delta boys now
Starting point is 00:07:14 there was any doubt come on bro that's so dangerous I've seen birds destroy the tip of a plane like that yeah birds My plane. Where did you receive these from, Francis?
Starting point is 00:07:31 I have to look. Some guy sent him and he's the man. This is one of my favorite things we've ever gotten on here. Yeah, those are pretty sick. Let's look here. Let's look here. Really choice aircraft. Wow.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Truly phenomenal. I'm about to fly to England on a Virgin flight. Have you ever seen the Virgin First Class? I haven't, no. It's kind of like a group shower where everybody has to face the middle. Like your feet are all towards like where the flight attendant is. Oh, really? Everybody faces out.
Starting point is 00:08:02 Dude, this is so cool. So this is all from Noah at Wildcat Dyecast. He said, I'm a corporate pilot. He used to fly the CRJ 900 if Harry wants to know. That's one of your favorites. You mentioned that one a lot. Oh, yeah. I love that one.
Starting point is 00:08:18 And he runs a model aircraft retailer in his free time. and you'd like to get us some nice one-200th scale Delta jets. Let me know. One-200th. So big shout out to Noah at Wildcat Dicast. They make
Starting point is 00:08:36 models of everything. I'm seeing Aero Mexico, if that's your persuasion. That could be fun. I'm seeing, you know, Alaskan Airways, JetBlue, southwest, United. But, of course, Delta,
Starting point is 00:08:51 the cream of the crop. Rainier, of course. So I'm really excited about this. Those are beautiful crafts. Those are beautiful. And you feeling a little better? That buoyed your spirits a little. Yeah, definitely cheered me up a bit.
Starting point is 00:09:02 Good. I was feeling really down before. Yeah, good. Really grump and super hard earlier. Look at the version first class. Oh, wow. That's very weird. That's very exposed.
Starting point is 00:09:13 Wait, that's the Delta? No, it's virgin. I would rather than be looking at my feet, though. Because is this the bed or are those just chairs? I think those lay down to a bed. But then your feet are like in the aisle. I'd rather that than like when the flight attendant walks by and you're laying down. You're going to be laying down in this.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Yeah, but they're not going to be right over your head. I'd rather than be right over my feet. Sean, can you just quickly get an image of the Japan Air business class accommodations that I will be enjoying next week on my way to Tokyo? Next week. Unbelievable. Yeah. Oh, that's choice.
Starting point is 00:09:52 And that's private. You could damn near a goon in that. I'm going to goon. No full wrap around, though. No, but that's a pretty comprehensive shell. Because when I flew mint, we had a, I had a door. Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:08 You're going to want that door. Definitely going to want a door for gooning. I would ask. You're going to want a roof. Okay, so this one looks like it definitely has a door. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. She's having the time of her life.
Starting point is 00:10:20 Is she going to be on your flight? think? I doubt it. You should make a video like this? I mean... You're easily good. I should. That's what my mint flight looked like, exactly like that. Yeah, see, that's... Complete with boyfriend in the next pod. That's got a toilet on it in your own little cube bowl.
Starting point is 00:10:38 It's crazy how much girls can get for putting out the same content that a guy will put out and they'll make. She probably made like $400,000 for this post. I mean, exactly, you know. Don't you think? Definitely. She definitely did. Influencer is the one job where the wage gap is so heavily skewed in their favor. And we hit the glass ceiling.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Definitely. We're like, thunk. It's like shit that doesn't even do that. Like it has 12,000 lights. Right. And yeah, you're probably, I get she, it was well over six figures for sure. Six figures, probably free flights for a year. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:13 It's just such a. And I'm happy for them. I'm happy for my sisters. Of course. It's about time. I'll be the profession that gets underpaid. No problem. I'll take this one for the team for quality.
Starting point is 00:11:25 I got no problem. To swing the pendulum single-handedly. I'm swinging the pendulum like a fucking mace. When you guys are laying in one of these beds, do you buckle your feet in like that? Buckle your legs in? I try to get strapped down like a mental patient. I don't like, yeah, that's the one thing I hate when they're like,
Starting point is 00:11:44 you got to be buckled in. We own me on like Hannibal Lecter. Like when you're laying down. Buckle the legs in. You mean wear the seatbelt? That she had her legs strapped down. I've never seen that before. No, neither.
Starting point is 00:11:57 You'll see it this week. There are times where I've fallen asleep on planes, not when I'm lying flat, but when I'm sitting up and at some point I kick in the middle. Oh. And I smash my shin so hard against the metal thing in front of me that I want to bring the plane down. Yeah. I heard on Japan air, they'll sew your kimono right into the seat.
Starting point is 00:12:18 Good. Yeah, I want a sleep sack. Yeah, they'll put you in a chrysalis on Japan air. Yeah. I mean, that's going to be an experience. It's going to be so nice. What are you going to do to elevate the experience? And what time is your flight?
Starting point is 00:12:32 My flight is at 120 p.m. Oh. Yeah. Interesting. To Indianapolis? No, we're going direct. Oh, right. Over.
Starting point is 00:12:40 Right to Japan. On the way back, I'm flying through Minneapolis. Are you going to get shit tanked on the flight? what? We'll have maybe a few drinks. I don't know. You know what, guys. I have a full day.
Starting point is 00:12:53 I'll tell you what. I got home from Vegas last night, late, and the thought of having alcohol ever again is entirely anathema to where I'm at right now. I don't know what that means, but you definitely were talking about hot bottling a flight on the way to Vegas, a bottle of hypnotic. We hot bottled two bottles of hypnotic. What's hot bottling and what's hypnotic? Hot bottle is when a bottle comes out and you go hot bottle, hot bottle, hot bottle, hot bottle, hot, until it's gone.
Starting point is 00:13:23 And you just pass it around. Oh, I see. So it's not like a, you're not very casual experience. Well, I wouldn't call it like business formal. No, I'm talking about in terms of your drinking pace. It's more of a game. It's more of like, let's get drunk. It's a team chug.
Starting point is 00:13:41 Yeah, yeah. Yeah. You got to have a lot of bodies for that. Well, we had 12. Okay. So that's not how many. Whigs? You kind of have to like eyeball it.
Starting point is 00:13:51 And if you undercut, then the last guy has to drink a lot. Oh, it's only one turn each. Yeah. Oh, my God. I thought it went around and around. No, no, you pass it all the way down the plane. Yeah, I thought it went around until it was over. No, you go, you got to, you got to really try to like.
Starting point is 00:14:06 So number 12 can really get fog. Yeah, but but the first time. Number 12 if you wanted to. The first time we did it, number 12 had like a barely a sip left. Oh, wow. We all over kicked a little. And then the second time, he had a lot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Where'd you hit in the rotation? I was in the first one, I was like middle somehow. And then in the second one, I went first. Right. Yeah. That's where you want to be. We did. We did two bottles of hypnotic and then we did a bottle of fireball.
Starting point is 00:14:38 Oh. Oh my God. What's hypnotic taste like? I don't think I've had it since I was drinking Incredible Hulk. Yeah. That's what I figured. It tastes like blue candy. Riptide rush.
Starting point is 00:14:49 It's so good. So you did three hot bottles. On six hours of flying. I mean, that's not that long. Well, I mean, we were drinking.
Starting point is 00:15:00 How many, how much time in between were you like, all right, another hot bottle? I never brought the hot bottles out. Was anyone ever like, maybe we do a cold bottle?
Starting point is 00:15:06 Let's just do a regular. We were drinking cold bottles. I was drinking. They had brought main beer company on. Oh, wow. This was the best thing ever. That sounds great.
Starting point is 00:15:15 The TV, was the biggest TV I'd ever seen in my life. Oh, yeah. It was OLED. No. It was OLED. It wasn't. I could tell from the glare.
Starting point is 00:15:24 No way. You couldn't tell from the glare. There's nothing wrong with that. No, I'm in a bad one. I don't have an OLED at home. It's not home. That's not home. They're on a private plane that had a fucking
Starting point is 00:15:36 diagonal, massive TV. Just be happy for him for one. I am. I'm thrilled. I'm just not going to lie and say it was an OLED. It goes through a really bad hell. thing and you're complaining about the quality of the television on the private well they're hot bottling triple hot bottling the temperature of the bottle things that only you would
Starting point is 00:15:53 have an issue with fireball had to have been was that like that was definitely the last hot bottle I think it was yeah no one wanted to hot bottle after that slept the last three hours that was tough got to Vegas and all the late 30s dudes were asleep as I think I'm not having fun anymore we got off the plane and we were we came in so hot to Vegas. Like the actual plane or just the crew or both? What do you mean? Like hot landing.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Oh, I mean like excited. Oh, okay. Yeah. Landing was perfect, I presume. Yeah. Well, you never know. Didn't know if there was storms or something. No, I think Roan understood what I meant.
Starting point is 00:16:32 I was clarifying. Okay. For the listeners out there who have no ability to discern between the lines speak. I mean, we're talking planes and you say we came in hot to Vegas. I'm going to assume you had a bad landing. Now that you say it, I actually understand. I meant based on the context of us drinking and coming in hot bottling. I was like, we came in hot.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But I see what you mean and I'm going to give you credit for your point. Mature as hell. We went straight over. Dude, my buddy, I mean, my buddy's the man. He got us the plane. And like, you're kind of thinking like, okay, we're going to land. Like, I'll be generous and I'll get the Uber for like four of us.
Starting point is 00:17:14 there were three black cars waiting for us on the tarmac of course on the tarmac yeah Jesus yeah and you find a Harry Reid no podcast what did you say I said what does he do for work he's on giggly squad yeah he's on giggly squad yeah what podcast is he on he does he just signed with I with serious serious yeah he's an Alex Cooper's Unwell network um anyway we went uh We went to the casino. We went to win, Encore win, whatever, and got out, checked into our rooms, and then went straight down and started playing blackjack. And I lost a lot of money pretty quickly. This is night one, to be clear.
Starting point is 00:17:59 Yeah. So you guys are banged up solid at this point. Proper. The pit boss are licking their chops. I don't know. I wouldn't say we were sideways or anything. We were just like the, when you fly into Vegas, you fly like. you fly like right now alongside the strip.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Oh yeah. And the lights just appear out of nowhere. And the airport is five minutes from. Oh, it's right there. Yeah. Everything's right there. Yeah. Yep.
Starting point is 00:18:28 Did they have like a picture of you and the crew on the sphere when you guys pulled up? It's like all of you guys on the plane. Las Vegas welcomes the hot bottle boys. When did they take this? I was like five minutes. ago. Oh, I'm going to pay my run?
Starting point is 00:18:47 Yeah, so we went to the hotel and checked in and then we started playing blackjack. Now, I'll tell you this. Obviously, we wanted a three, two table. But at that hour, what they do is they only let you play three, two if you're at like a high stakes, $200 minimum table.
Starting point is 00:19:04 Damn. And so I mean, that's where my buddies were. I sat with them and I just, I just went down pretty, quick. Smart. You were playing 200.
Starting point is 00:19:16 Yeah. Smoked. And I think there was a hand where it was like, okay, split, okay, double. And all of a sudden I had like $600 in chips on the table. And the dealer made 21. And I was like, all right, it's time for bed. Yeah. Then you go to bed and your heart's pounding because you just hot bottled for the last six hours.
Starting point is 00:19:36 And then spiked your adrenaline with- My veins are coursing with hypnotic and fireball. I'm ready to kill. and I'm like, I can't. I don't have enough money. That's how they made Captain Planet, I think. What are the mini bars like in the win? From my memory, they had some incredible mini bar foods. Yeah, they had some good stuff, but I didn't touch it.
Starting point is 00:19:59 I mean, my buddy and I split a room. We were the only two who did, but we did that because the last time we were in Vegas was for my buddy's bachelor party, and we split a room then, and we had a great time. So I enjoyed that. And together, we pushed each other towards healthy decisions. That's good. He's the one who had the health issues. Nice.
Starting point is 00:20:16 And so we went to bed at like 11 the first night. Really? Yeah. And then woke up at 7. You went to bed at, oh, because the time difference. Yeah, time difference. I was like we were texting me at 11. It was 2 a.m.
Starting point is 00:20:31 Our time. Woke up at 7 next day, you know, meals, more gambling, a little bit of pool. Couple more hot bottles. No more hot bottles the rest of the trip? Maybe we just got ahead of it now. If you get hot bottle service, that can cost an arm and a leg. A woman bringing out a piping hot bottle of champagne. Please heat this Dom Pernier.
Starting point is 00:20:55 I like it out of 165, like a chicken. It's folded between your thighs for a while. Can you incubate this? What else happened? That was funny. I mean, the meals were always, were really fun. I clawed back a little bit on the second day. It was playing out at by the pool.
Starting point is 00:21:12 Yeah. And got up or came back like I chipped away back to like I was down 500. So I made a thousand back. Nice. Then that night I lost a thousand again. So I finished the day flat. And then on day three we went to Encore Beach Club, which is like the big outdoor party.
Starting point is 00:21:29 The chain smokers were there. Of course they were. And friends of the pod. Yeah. I mean I messaged Joe Taggart because he's from my hometown of Freeport Maine. Who? Drew Taggart. he's one of them.
Starting point is 00:21:44 Oh, okay. He's the one who sings. He's chained. He's chained. He's smoke. I think they're both chain and they both smoke. That's the smokers. Okay, that makes more so that because I always had it mixed up.
Starting point is 00:21:56 That makes sense. Well, I messaged him, but he didn't open it. I'm sure he gets a billion DMs, but I would have liked to have said hi to him. Yeah, that would have been cool. He's vastly outperforming me as the hometown hero of Freeport Main. Oh, he's from Freeport. I said that. Just now?
Starting point is 00:22:16 Must have been 30 seconds. Oh, wow, I missed it completely. What were you thinking about? Completely missed it. Because he kind of like put that as the centerpiece of the sentence. Yeah, I don't know how I missed that. That's okay. I was focusing on the chain and the first of the smoke.
Starting point is 00:22:29 Do you think if you were in a better mood, you would have heard it? Probably, but I was also thinking about your betting. I was thinking about you said you, wait, so you left down 500. Oh, I haven't finished the betting arc yet. Oh, okay, okay. Because I'm still hot. I'm thinking hot bottles. Like, I'm all over the place.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Why don't you choose the track? No, no, no. And I'll put the record on that. No. No, continue. Go to the B side of the story. You're skipping around and it scratches up with the record here. This is a lot for me to handle.
Starting point is 00:23:02 We're burning through the needle. I'm trying to like kind of live through your weekend right now. The air for hot bottle. Yes, right. I get that. Yeah, don't be afraid to add a couple things in. even if they didn't happen. Like, I want to hear more hot bottles.
Starting point is 00:23:20 Three hot bottles for the weekend is not. We were on pace for like a nine. At encore, you must have hot bottles. You don't hot bottle. You hot bottle on the plane. Tell me you hot bottle on the way home, at least. No. Flew on a nice Delta flight.
Starting point is 00:23:33 They weren't hot bottling on the Delta flight? You could hot cup. I was seated next to, well, Joe Coy was across the aisle from me. Oh shit. And he, dude, here's how well liked he is. I'm not,
Starting point is 00:23:46 I'm not making this up. We're going through, we're boarding the plane. He's hugging the gate agents. What? Why? Are they Filipino? I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:23:59 He's hugging non-Philippinos. Like they were like Latin, black, like, you know. Are you sure that wasn't a Filipino? I think he knows them. I think he might be doing, he might have a Vegas resident.
Starting point is 00:24:11 Oh yeah. So he might just be there all the time. I think he actually does. Dude, a lot of people, Bargatsi's got one right now. Yeah. There's a lot of comics. He had one for a while. Who did?
Starting point is 00:24:21 Malani. John. Like last year. That sounds like a pretty good gig. I know the chain smokers live in L.A. And they get a PJ every weekend on Saturday. Yeah. To come play that Encore Beach Club.
Starting point is 00:24:34 They do like whatever an hour and a half, hour and whatever. They probably get paid like $10 million. And they just jet right back. Yeah, that's insane. that would be awesome. But Coy isn't taking a Pige. He's a man of the people. He definitely could take a Pige.
Starting point is 00:24:47 He, yeah, he, I'm guessing, I don't know where he lives. I mean, I wouldn't have thought that he lived in New York. Doesn't handle him live in New York? Is he still with Handler? Not sure, that's a great question. They were dating? Oh yeah, Coy and Handler were with each other for a while. Were they really?
Starting point is 00:25:03 Yes. Can we look this up, Sean? Joe Coy, Chelsea Handler, Sex tape. It's good. It's explosive. I got on the plane and... Boom. Wow.
Starting point is 00:25:19 Beautiful couple. You got on the plane and... I got on the plane and I'm getting on and I'm putting up... I'm helping a friend, like a friend of his or someone put a bag overhead. And then I was like, Joe, just want to say hi. I'm a comic as well. He gets up out of his scene and he goes, come and come on. We're doing a hug.
Starting point is 00:25:39 He gave me a hug. Oh, my God. Like, this is the nicest man alive. So maybe the gay agents didn't want to. He must have been on three bars. And we're not talking self-service. I mean, you're just hugging everyone like that. No, dude.
Starting point is 00:25:55 That screams annex. He was great. No, no, no. He was awesome. That is super, that is super nice. It was really nice. He fell asleep. Okay, Joe, let's get you.
Starting point is 00:26:10 back down in your seat. Strap your feet in jail. I think he is one of the most universally beloved comics, both among his audience and among comedians. Yeah, he definitely is. I think he's the most well. He might be the most liked. People like him
Starting point is 00:26:24 a lot. I mean, I think it goes to show with just how much, how many tickets he still sells. He still packs out fucking arenas. Massive, massive. Well, how many Filipino comics are there? That fan is he's pie, right? Is he Filipino? I trust you on that. I thought he was Hawaiian.
Starting point is 00:26:42 I have no idea. I could see either. Those are very similar. I trust you completely on this, Roan. Hawaiian and Filipino are pretty much the same thing. What does it say there? I can't read it. Sean.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Half Filipino and half white. You were right. Filipino with the F, so you know it's real. But what if he's half white and the white part is Hawaiian? Right. That's what Obama was. Yeah. Same shit.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Same, same. Yeah, I just don't think that when you become the first person of your ethnicity to really be able to represent on a huge stage, you fucking tear it down. You do. Think of Bobby Lee in the Korean community. You make a lot of money like that. Yeah. Yeah. Which is why it might be worth you figuring out more about your ancestry.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Oh, definitely. Ashkenazi. Unfortunately, there's a lot of successful. You would not be the first Ashkenazi. A lot of successful Ashkenazi, Ashkenazi Jewish people. Almost all of them. Yeah. It might be tough to break into that.
Starting point is 00:27:50 Yeah. You might have to lean onto the, what else? You like Welsh or some shit. I have no clue, to be honest. You might as lean on your Welsh side. Yeah, the Cape Cod side. Anyone successful from the Cape? Probably are, right, Francis?
Starting point is 00:28:03 Half Ojcanazi, half Cape Cod. Yeah. Did your buddy who you went to celebrate, did he have a good time? Yeah, he did. Yeah. I mean, that makes me glad. The dinners were awesome. That place Golden Steer is really, really good.
Starting point is 00:28:20 It's cool. And we were such a big group that they would put us in like a back room. Oh, hell yeah. And what's cool about, I mean, we didn't even have to like order, you know? It was all just like they brought us all the hits. I mean, I was just eating two pound lobster tails and damn. Fucking steak. Are you the best eater in your group?
Starting point is 00:28:38 Dude, I'm trying to tone back my eating in a big way. I'm trying to lose this 10 pounds and I can't. It's because you're eating two pounds of lobster. It's got to be that. I cut sugar out of my diet in a big way and I thought that would make a huge difference. Was that before or after you were chugging the firewall? Liquid sugar doesn't count because you pee it out. You don't retain any of that.
Starting point is 00:29:00 Yeah, I didn't. I had no idea. Sugar only stays in your system when it's eaten. Yeah. Fireball. I might to start ripping slushies and shit. Yeah. Well, the mistake I made was when I put the fireball in the freezer and then had a popsicle of it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:15 Because then it stayed. Then you just lost all your progress. Pretty much. One lick. Yeah. Anyway, that's Vegas. You know, we, I'll tell you this. Any horse?
Starting point is 00:29:27 I'm not a Vegas guy. Did you get any whores or no? No, I don't, I don't like horse. Did you see any whores? I'm sure I did. I wouldn't have, they all, everyone looked like a horse. They should have to wear a badge on their arm. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Like a bag on the sleeve. Yeah. Just a W. An H. I had probably the best Vegas trip that I've had. I think I've been to Vegas three times now. I don't like it. It's not for me.
Starting point is 00:29:58 I'm not. I don't want to just gamble and that's other than that. I mean, I don't know what else there is. Everyone says like, oh, there's so much to do. It's like, well, yeah, okay, there's. Oh no, there's nothing to do If you're not drinking or getting horse People go to people go to shows
Starting point is 00:30:15 Yeah But I live in New York City Why don't know I don't need to do that I don't need to go to Vegas to go see Blue Man group Yeah What the fuck are you talking about? I get it if you live in Nebraska But like
Starting point is 00:30:26 Yeah We're 10 blocks from Broadway Yeah it's I mean There's if you live in New York City There's not many places you could go Where you could do stuff that you can't do in New York City There's homeless people doing Cirque du Soleil on the subway.
Starting point is 00:30:38 You don't even have to pay for it. I was on the W with a guy in the Blue Man Group this morning. He was blue head to toe. He was late. He was applying while he was on the way. He was coming from Vegas too. Hot bottling the train. Covering himself in hypnotic.
Starting point is 00:30:57 That's what they use. A lot of people don't know that. He just dipped their body. It's been a long time partnership between Blue Man Group and Hypnotic. Or the other... Multiple layers of hypnotic. You're not blue enough. Dip him again.
Starting point is 00:31:09 Give him another coat. Anyone got more hypnotic? Blue washing him. The other thing you could do in Vegas is like find the fire escape exit to go out to the strip to like clandestinely smoke a joint so you don't get kicked out of your win room. Yeah. Any cush? Were you blowing any, I'm blown any tree out there? Because the cush is legal, but there's nowhere to smoke.
Starting point is 00:31:34 And it's not good. And it's bad. It's really bad. I don't know. Well, I guess it depends on where you go. I just had a pen. Benjamin Franklin. Yikes.
Starting point is 00:31:44 What are you in the middle school? Well, you can't smoke a joint in the room, so that was the nice middle ground. Yeah, I guess that's true. I don't like those. When you went to bed early and watched knocked up, did you guys hit the pendulum in the room and giggle? I was. My buddy can't because of his brain stuff. Oh, yeah, that makes sense.
Starting point is 00:32:05 So you were just ripping the pen all weekend. Are you in a little bit of a pen fog today? A little bit. Because I feel like you get a good fog for like a week after the pen. Yeah, I don't feel great, but I did go to, I did a workout this morning that was just punishment. Yeah. I was just punishing myself for my behavior this weekend and my choices. I mean, you had quite a weekend.
Starting point is 00:32:27 Saturday I got so drunk that like. Did you, wait, I got to, we got to, we got to, did you buy the weed pen yourself? Oh, I had it. You're a pen guy. Pen and teller What are you doing in Vegas? You're acting like this is What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:32:41 What's so big What's the big deal of that? You smoked a jewel for 10 years. Yeah, but the pen is like degenerate. No, it's not. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:32:49 it is. It's what you do when you can't smoke a fucking joint on a private plane or in your hotel room. I just, I just, you're like the last person on earth
Starting point is 00:32:59 I could see buying a pen. Huh? Am I, am I wrong? I've seen. I've seen like high-end executives. When I was writing for that TBS show. Oh, so you're talking 10 years ago.
Starting point is 00:33:15 10 years ago. We're talking right now. It's like a little black. It looks like a jewel. Yeah, yeah. That kind of a pen. Not one, not like the long one with the button.
Starting point is 00:33:23 I think all pens aren't created equal. I think if you're getting, it depends. If you have a pen with like a light colored like, uh, resin in it, like it's barely yellow, you might be a crack addict.
Starting point is 00:33:36 But if you have a pen with, with like a dark fucking, like, chocolatey, if it looks like you're drinking a yoo-hoo out of the pen, then I think that you're like, that's something strong. I mean, I just cracked the pen open and drank it. I thought that would be quicker. Just rub it on your gums,
Starting point is 00:33:51 I feel like, is the fastest way to get the pen in your system. Oh, man. I'm, I didn't know that it was a worse. It's not. I've always thought that smoking joints hurts my lungs more than... Yeah, it's just people talk about the pens like that
Starting point is 00:34:06 just because, like, people, a lot of people that, obviously I don't think you're doing this but like oh wow you got to oh no that's it's headphones also people hit them like 24-7 yeah I mean it wasn't a dab pen no it was just like a concentrate yeah yeah they are inconsistent but in a scenario like that they're fun to have around well yeah it's all I could I wasn't going to keep going down the from the 55th floor out the fucking place and you got to go far away too. Really? Yeah, because they're on you about it. Are they really? The last time I went to Vegas, we went straight from the airport to a weed
Starting point is 00:34:46 shop and I bought a bunch of weed and I had it in a bag. Yeah. It's like a, and we walked into the hotel and they took it from me. Really? That's so, but isn't, but weeds legal there. You cannot bring it into the hotel. Oh, wow. And I've smoked it outside the airport and a cop pulled up to me. He's like, you got to do that at home. And I was like, I'm going home. What do you mean? But I didn't understand that he meant like you have to like smoke before you get to the airport. Interesting. I didn't know.
Starting point is 00:35:13 I didn't know Vegas was so strict about that. Well, that's why KB got kicked out of his hotel room. Yeah, yeah. They found, they found pen residue on his mirror. On his flat mirror that he laid flat. Sweet KB. Okay, guys, let's talk about quince. You know those pieces in your closet that you find yourself wearing on repeat?

Starting point is 00:36:44 Nice. You have to tell her. Oh, yeah. You like that? Teller. Teller the bad news. Yeah, it's decent. You're going to keep that?
Starting point is 00:36:51 No, definitely not. You're going to keep that. That's all you. Use that. I'm not a pen guy. I'm not a pen guy. I'm only grass. Flower only for me.
Starting point is 00:36:59 Really? Yeah, yeah. Not into the concentrates like you guys are. I mean, I'm not into anything. Francis was hitting his puff co on the plane They are just inconsistent I think that's my only thing You just never sometimes you don't know what you're going to get
Starting point is 00:37:16 Sometimes it'll make you feel terrible Kill people This one was low key Yeah yeah of course Was it Rove? I don't know It's curious You had a pension within the last year
Starting point is 00:37:26 But then you got off of it And I gave it to you Yeah I said get this shit away from me And then you threw it away Because you said the same thing Wow, I didn't know I had a couple of converts, a couple of born again grass smokers here. Those things are way too strong.
Starting point is 00:37:41 I'm off the stuff, man, I can't. And they don't even make you feel good. God bless you if you're still into that. Yeah. I feel like sharp. That's the only way to describe it. I'm like, oh. Hit the pen and going through like airport security.
Starting point is 00:37:55 Yeah. Just like, oh, fuck. Did I bring a bomb? Did I forget if I bought a bomb? Did it in my shoes? And we went to Birmingham for for Bush. I hit the pen. I had a pen and I hit the pen before boarding the flight.
Starting point is 00:38:13 I had to go to the bathroom and sit in the stall. I was so anxious. I was like, why the fuck did I just do that? I'm going to be on this plane for 10 hours. Oh, Birmingham, England. Yeah. Wait, wait. I'm confused.
Starting point is 00:38:26 You're saying in between flights? No, before boarding. In America. In America. At the airport? At the airport. How do you do that? I don't remember how it did it.
Starting point is 00:38:36 A little sleeve action? Yeah, a little sleeve. What? Just that? And then you ghost it? Pretty much. You know, it's a good way to do it if you have to is to use the like family restroom. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:47 In the Delta Sky Club. But then that's... You can do anything in there. Yeah, definitely. But then so... You can pass that with a needle in your arm and they'll take it out, like bring an alcohol wipe and slap you a couple times and send you on your way. Clean you up good.
Starting point is 00:39:03 You're looking for you. for gate 62. Make sure you get a good nap. You'll be fun. If you're polite on heroin, they do not care. No. Why would they?
Starting point is 00:39:12 Unruly on alcohol is the only thing that can get you in trouble. Really, it really is. No one likes a crazy drunk person. No. Unpredictable. Yeah. I have heard of people getting
Starting point is 00:39:23 kicked off airlines for hitting just the regular vape, not even a weed vape. Yeah, that's understandable. Yeah, that just creates. It can't be smoking on a plane. One time I was in my car, I was driving Harry.
Starting point is 00:39:38 I remember this in Wisconsin. Huh? Was this in Wisconsin? No, it was when we were going over to Brooklyn. I picked you up. Oh, yeah, yeah. And you ripped your jewel and exhale the giant fat cloud in the car. And I rolled down my window.
Starting point is 00:39:53 This was in Wisconsin. Because we were driving from Milwaukee to Madison. I distinctly remember this happening. It's probably happened a couple times. You're in Tribeca heading to the bridge. I remember it happening in Wisconsin. Johnson too and you rolled the window down and I got pissed. Yeah, you were like, oh, come on now.
Starting point is 00:40:07 We're doing this. Yeah. He's like, I thought we're hot bottling. Yeah. I was like, well, I mean, you know. That was for you. I put that in the air for you to smoke to get secondhand high off. Trying to live in this fucking cloud.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Anyway, the point is, on the last day on Saturday, I, we went to the Encore Beach Club and I was somehow betting there and at the table that they had outside. fought all the way back. Love that. And I ended my trip down 400 bucks. Love that. From being down 2,000. And that feels like being up.
Starting point is 00:40:43 Well, it's unbelievable. Yeah, that's house money. Think of this. My buddy made this point. He was like, that feeling you have of fighting back to only owing to being down 400 for the whole three night weekend. Imagine if you had gone up $7,000 and then gone back down and you were leaving up a thousand.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Oh yeah. You'd feel way worse. Definitely. Than if, than what I did. Absolutely. You'd be looking at things online that are $7,000 exactly.
Starting point is 00:41:12 Yeah. Yeah. Like, I could have got this. I could have had a motorcycle. Yeah. I could have a scooter. I was so proud of myself that I couldn't help it.
Starting point is 00:41:20 I had a little bit of time to kill on Sunday. What'd you buy? Just some cologne. Some blow to Chanel exclusive. It's a, you know, it's a pretty obvious one, but it's nice.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Get the yard a couple times. Head to the clone. store. I just went to that one. I'm lying. I went to Louis Vuitton and bought La Mense-Mette as well. But um, yeah. Do you have that one? Yes. That one's fucking good. That one's really good. Here, we got to get you into fragrances. Is that how you said? Nomencite. Yeah. Wow. Yeah, that's exactly how it's pronounced. Yeah, that's what I layer with the Oodwood. I have, I have three fragrances at home. They're just store brand.
Starting point is 00:41:57 Irish Spring? No, they're three samples. Like this big? No, no. They're big. examples though that's why i got them what do you mean what do you mean store brand i don't even know what the brand is i got him a target there's not like target sells nice colognes yeah of course they're like uh they're like the size of like uh one of your probably one of your carts one of your pens yeah is that a pen sir no no cologne um that is nice you got to bring it are you wearing it today i bought those two this is blood of chenel give that a little give that a little
Starting point is 00:42:33 with. Oh, wow. Oh, that'll be perfect to slingshot you into winter. You want some? You want a little taste? I'm okay. Thank you. Get a nose full of that. I'm actually getting a good bit right now. Come give me a nice know. Wow, that's good. Treat me like I'm Joe Coy. That's strong. Come co-joy. I'm okay. I don't have that me and you don't have that relationship like you and Joe. Did you guys have any more conversation? You and Coy? On the way off the plan, he goes, hey, hey, good luck. Like, I wasn't even going to say goodbye. Yeah. He's like, good luck to you. I'm like, oh, Joe, thank you.
Starting point is 00:43:05 And then I was almost like, I'll see you at the clubs. And I was like, I don't do that anymore. Yeah. So I won't. Did you show him any of your like bona fides? No, bona fides. I did not feel the need to impress upon Joe Coy. You played TD, right, Joe?
Starting point is 00:43:20 We both play TV. I just remember then. We both played TD. Were you playing some of your clips like out loud on the plane? Tires. Yeah. No. What did I watch?
Starting point is 00:43:29 I watched Oceans 11, which, guys, I'm embarrassed. I still don't. I've watched that movie probably five times. I'm not 100% sure how they pulled it off. I don't understand entirely how they do the sort of fake staged heist
Starting point is 00:43:48 and then pipe that in and then go in. All of that gets a little murky to me. I'm like, I don't know when the last time I watched, I mean, I was probably like a year ago. They switched the cameras to the facility that they built and then they filmed. a heist at the facility that they built and then to counteract that they shut down the power so then they can actually go in sneakily um i think is that the one yeah they have the little asian
Starting point is 00:44:15 guy in that one yeah but that's where they that's where they um they get him they get uh the guy who owns the casino to call the police they take that call and bring in their own swat team which is what steals the bags of money. So good. Yeah. That's a great movie. Maybe I get it. I think you get it.
Starting point is 00:44:39 That's it. I think you're understanding. I think that there is like how do they get, how do they become the police maybe? It's more like, it's like in the town. There's a fake van initially that they like drive away and it's remote controlled. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:44:54 There's just pieces at the end there that get a little like convoluted. They ask a lot of the, viewer. I can't put it all together. They ask the viewer to buy a lot of stuff and like since they do like a jump cut and it slides to another scene, you're kind of like forced to be like, oh, I'm cool. I'm Brad Pitt. I get it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:10 And I get 90% of it. Yeah, I think you get it. But I don't. I think you get it as much as you really have to get it. Yeah, it's frustrating. I mean, that's a solid heist movie. It's probably the best. The town. The town? The town's definitely better. The town I get completely.
Starting point is 00:45:26 Yeah. A flower shop guy. Yeah. Ocean's 12 is bullshit. Just like I clipped your daddies. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Put the hook in her. You're going to do this thing for me. You're going to do this thing for me. And you won't kill me, I promise. There's no way you'll come back and kill me later.
Starting point is 00:45:43 Got the hook in her. Got her doped up real nice. Who's walking around the streets? It's real, real dark. I love it. The... I'm not working for you. What does he say?
Starting point is 00:45:53 He's like, I live at 551 Bunk of Hill. Stop by any time. they're the only guy in Charlestown with a gun that when he kills him at the end yeah and the way he dies too that's so good he sort of just like slumps but I'm just surprised that he never
Starting point is 00:46:11 never expected to get killed Ben Affleck no the guy the flower guy he talked however he wanted to so many people and they he was like oh they'll just never come and kill me because he's the boss and he's also got a guy sitting next to him
Starting point is 00:46:24 with a shotgun 24 seven and what good was that guy. Not at the end of the day, none. Yeah, he didn't do them both. He didn't do a damn thing. Ocean's 12 is bullshit though because they just rely on you to believe that like in this world the actress Juliet Roberts playing a woman looks like Julia Roberts. Yeah, that part is super dumb. That was way too much. It's like a little like it's like a funny bit that they probably had in the writer's room that's like this would be funny but it's like yeah but don't actually do it
Starting point is 00:46:56 Because it's not worth it. You know what another funny, speaking of that, though, um, in the, in the early scene of Ocean's 11, Brad Pitt is playing poker and teaching poker to all,
Starting point is 00:47:07 to like, celebrities. All these young celebs who are playing fictitious versions of themselves. And it's like, Tofer Grace. Tofer Grace. Danny Masterson? Or,
Starting point is 00:47:19 it's, it's a guy like him. It's a guy just like him. I don't know. You'd recognize the actor. Whatever. The point is like, Maybe the idea there is that the ensemble cast is so star-studded that they can just throw more celebrities in in the ultimate pit of irony.
Starting point is 00:47:37 But wouldn't they be like, holy shit, Brad Pitt's teaching. Yeah, that's what I don't understand. That guy looks just like Brad Pitt. Like, why doesn't everyone look like, why doesn't Matt Damon look like Matt Damon? Yeah, that's the only Julia Roberts exist in this fake universe. Yeah, that's the big part. That's the big problem. It's like if one of the celebrities exists that they're all with, why do the other celebrities not exist?
Starting point is 00:47:59 Yeah. Joshua Jackson, Holly Marie-Colmes. Barry Watson and Shane West are all at the table there. Not one of them knows how to play poker. Which one's Tofer Grace? Is she the redhead one? No, that's a guy. It's a guy from that 70s show. The main character? No.
Starting point is 00:48:17 The one who's complicit. The one who wrote the letter about the rapist. No, it wasn't that fucking. Ashley, go to hear you. He's like, listen, he might have raped some people, but I like him. And I also murdered someone, so this is kind of an eye for an eye. Let's focus on his shit. Like, we've all had dark times after that 70s show.
Starting point is 00:48:37 I killed a guy personally. Court of public opinion. Don't we all get one? Yeah. I murdered my ex-girlfriend and he's a serial rapist. People really think you just get one. You don't, you don't just get one? You really don't get one.
Starting point is 00:48:52 Well, I mean, Vegas definitely won this weekend, that's for sure. I can't believe you watched it on the way out of Vegas. Like, you're done with Vegas and you're like, let me just get one last taste. I could see it going on the way, like how you'll watch a loss in translation on the way. Hot bottling. Oh, watching Thursday night football too. Yeah. Yeah. I wanted to watch it in the sense of feeling like we are like, you know, you can live vicariously through them taking the house.
Starting point is 00:49:21 Oh, yeah, of course. That's how you felt being down 400. Like I also put that. I felt pretty good. Terry Benedict is also mad at me. Dude, going to the cash exchange as you're checking out and giving them chips, I had $2,500 in chips. And I had brought $2,900 in cash from selling my guitar. Quite literally, I was gambling my guitar.
Starting point is 00:49:52 all weekend. And like by the end, I had gotten even all the strings pretty much back. No, no, you got a three string now? You got a banja? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:02 How many strings is a banjo have? You got a fiddle now. Yeah, of a viola. Yeah, you definitely lost at least two strings. Yeah. Well, that's still not bad. Either way, I,
Starting point is 00:50:16 it's a really good feeling to exchange the cash. Yeah, definitely. And then I was like, this is too much cash to bring on a commercial flight. So I went and bought Cologne. Yeah. You traded your guitar for good times and sent. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:32 Yeah. And Cet lasts a lot longer than a guitar. It does. Scent is nostalgic. Scent is tied to memory. Guitars are just tied to regret. Cent is. Cents lasts until your next shower.
Starting point is 00:50:44 So you say. So you could technically just smell it forever. It's like the X-ray. So it actually stays around a lot. The shower. Really? Some of it's stronger than the shower. I wouldn't like that.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Did you see the clip of James Winston putting Cologne on? Oh, yeah. Oh, my God. He emptied the clip. He covered him. I never seen a Cologne with an extendo. Yeah. He had a Cologne with a drum on the bottom of it.
Starting point is 00:51:07 It was just like, I mean, he gassed himself. But I think he did this on purpose. So much of this is on his clothing. I mean, that jacket, he must only wear one cent. Um, he's going back to the neck. I feel like he did that as a joke. I don't think he did. I think that he's just him.
Starting point is 00:51:29 He's just a funny guy. I think he might be funny. I think he's a funny guy. Man, I like this team. Giants are playing tonight. I'm excited. I just took them. Very excited.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I'll tell you what. I like this team a lot. Great vibes. Well, I told you, I said that the Giants beating the Cowboys, I thought the Cowboys were a good team. And the Cowboys are very good against Washington. Now, Jalen was out. But they were winning that game. I think so, too.
Starting point is 00:51:55 Yeah, it doesn't matter. I mean, people were saying that they, I mean, they say it every year, but there were people that were saying that, like, they had DAC as MVP for this year, like going into the season. So, I mean, people must think that that offense is pretty good. Well, he's got a couple pretty star receivers. Pickens, Lamb, Ferg. I wish on Thursday night you take in the parlay that me and Harry could.
Starting point is 00:52:17 Oh, yeah, we hit big. We said on the show. We set our two touchdown scores on the show. Right at the end. It was LaPorta and Kincaid. Most of the time when you guys start talking about football, I tune out. I know. And then I heard you talking about the Giants right now.
Starting point is 00:52:32 And I'm like, what is this? Well, this is the ultimate secret, which is that I pretend not to like sports, but I'm as straight as they come. I don't want people to know that. I mean, what I meant when I said Vegas won this weekend is yesterday was had to have been one of the worst betting days in the history of Tom. For who? Everyone. I don't know. I mean, I ended up crawling my way back.
Starting point is 00:52:55 I actually did get in a very similar situation that you had. I went down a lot. And at the 1 p.m., the 1 p.m. massacre is what we're calling it. And the bloody 1 p.m. Yeah. The 8 p.m. I ended up crawling back. But, I mean, it was like almost all of the favorites lost in the one. All nine of these hit for me.
Starting point is 00:53:12 Saints Ravens under, Vikings Bears under. Saints, 49ers, Panthers Parlay. Cowboys commanders over 49ers, dolphins. Rhone went nine for nine on your bloody 1 p.m. It was six bets, but all six one. Really? So you didn't lose it all yesterday? Those six ones.
Starting point is 00:53:31 What about the other? What about the others? I mean, what about the other 30? Touchdown scores. Touchdown score are long shots, of course. Rhone. I'm just not buying that. I'm not going to far be it for me to tell a father of two how to spend his money, but you can buy a lot of cologne.
Starting point is 00:53:46 Really? With the winnings from that. I'll tell you it right now. How much you win? I say we hit Soho on our city bike with home. Oh, I'm making it. I'm downsizing the unit size. What's your unit size?
Starting point is 00:53:56 Don't unit size. Shame me. I'm not shaming. I prefer that we're open about our unit size. I'm trying to super downsized my unit size. Yeah. Down from 10 Gs to five. Dude, I told you guys about this fucking suit that I bought.
Starting point is 00:54:09 Yeah, yeah. Custom. How I went in to go get the custom suit. I went to getting two custom suits. Yesterday I went to go try on the suits. Oh, no. Still don't fit. Not only do they not fit.
Starting point is 00:54:20 They were the worst-looking suits I've ever seen in my fucking life. Oh, no. Not only did they not look custom, I looked like the villain from a Batman movie in the 80s. Penguin? There was no body to any of them. The colors weren't what I expected. The size was fucking preposterous. The shoulders fucking jutted out like a zoot suit.
Starting point is 00:54:42 I looked like a cartoon character. The body was so. wide the pants had like just so much extra fabric i get like suits aren't as slim as they used to be this woman who is an indian woman had me dressed like a like an indian man you know how like an indian man will wear like a garment that goes damn near down to his knees that's what she had me and she absolutely destroyed me so what is this the final fitting this was this was like usually they do that interim right they're like this was supposed to be the interim she's like 99.5% of the time
Starting point is 00:55:15 no one needs alteration. And I was like the like sleeve feel a little bit big. And she's like, no, try to move your arm. If I make it smaller, you can move your arm. And I was like, all right. And then I got home and I tried it on. And like my window was open.
Starting point is 00:55:30 And like the wind caught the back of the suit. And I started to gust like a sail through my apartment. It lifted me up like I was parasailing. I was like, no. This can't be. I'm getting fucking lift. So I was like, I called her back and she was so flustered.
Starting point is 00:55:48 Yeah, I'm sure. Can you name the place? I don't want to. All right. Because it would, it would deter so much. How many did you get? Just one? I got, no, I got two because I was like, I won't be able to decide.
Starting point is 00:55:59 It's a wedding that I'm going to this Thursday. So to her credit, the turnaround time was fast and that was the only thing she did right. And the like the wedding is Thursday. There's like a small ceremonial or I go down Thursday. There's a small ceremony on Friday and then the big ceremony on Saturday. So I wanted two. And now I have I have zero. Wow.
Starting point is 00:56:19 So what do you do in that situation? Do you get them, do you return them? Can't return it. It's custom. There's no returning. So I'm going back today to get it re-altered, but I don't trust her. I don't trust her at all. So I went to get it back to a new place.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Because like I've paid her for this already. Yeah. So go to a different place. And pay them again. She'll see this through for it. She has to see this through. She has to see this through. has to fix this.
Starting point is 00:56:43 I don't know if I trust her at all. Yeah, that's why I'm saying. I would just go to a different place. Yeah, but then I'm like, the pot committal, like. Might you bring one suit to a new place and bring one of the suits back to her? I just need to, I just need her to, I'm going to give her another chance to fix it for free, or not for free, for the amount I've already paid. And then if she flubs it, I'll take that to someone else. How much does this cost?
Starting point is 00:57:05 Too much. Too much. How many units does it cost? Several units. Several units. A lot of units. I like your look today. Of course.
Starting point is 00:57:14 You pop the collar outside the crew. Yeah, that's my signature look. I know. I think it's nice. I haven't seen it in a while. No, no. It hasn't been. I mean,
Starting point is 00:57:21 the weather's finally here. You look like Ernie Ells. Oh, yeah. That's what I'm going for. You look like a late 90s like Dutch or South African golfer. Yeah, I actually got this collar stitched onto this by this Indian lady at a. It would be so much bigger.
Starting point is 00:57:37 There's nothing. There's no shirt underneath. No, no. It's all one. It's one piece. Did I do move your neck? That sucks though. And I'm just,
Starting point is 00:57:48 it's my fault because I'm like such a pussy that in the moment I wasn't like, no. But I just didn't expect it because I got in custom suits before for less money that I put them on. I was like, oh, these feel great. And then she's like trying to just like justify it. I was like, oh, yeah, maybe she's.
Starting point is 00:58:03 Yeah, you got fleeced. Maybe she's right. And then I got fucking fleeced. Yeah, you got banged. Badly. The stitching of it. Like you see the stitching's like on the outside. of the jacket. I'm like, this looks fucking like...
Starting point is 00:58:14 That looks... That sounds terrible. It was... It's terrible. You should just go to Macy's and get one off the rack. I should have got one off the rack and got a cussie's. I got one off the rack. Best suit I've ever had. Fits perfect. Never had to do anything for it. That's because you have the perfect body. Of course. Like don't... It's obvious that you just have the perfect body. You have the body that Taylor's dream about. The phantom thread was about your perfect body.
Starting point is 00:58:40 So I went to, what's it called? Todd Snyder this morning and got a whole new ensemble. Oh my God. You bought a whole new suit? Not a suit. I didn't get a suit. I got like a pants jacket situation because I'm not going to buy another suit. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:58:54 This is my, same thing I do with fragrances. So you bought a third suit. Sometimes the only way out is through. I don't trust this woman to fix it. So why are you bringing your suits back to her? Because they're already botched. So bring them somewhere else. But then I have to pay for it.
Starting point is 00:59:11 You just bought another suit anyway. But I don't know if I try to get these suits fixed by a tailor. I don't know if they'll be able to get them by Thursday. Because they might another tailor might not be able. They're usually two weeks on alterations. I need it by Thursday. What is this wedding that you're going to? Is it like a Saudi prince or something?
Starting point is 00:59:30 It's Charleston, South Carolina, bigger. Fancier than the Saudi prince. This must be the most important wedding of your life. It's on the last remaining plantation that still has slated. Right. They pay them. They're actors. They're like Civil War
Starting point is 00:59:45 Reenactment actors. They're very handsomely paid. But they actually do the work. I mean, I just don't get getting the suit fixed by the same lady. I feel like you're like she's already got the money. She already got paid.
Starting point is 01:00:00 If anything, she's going to fuck the soups up more. I don't trust her to be able to do it, but I'm going to make her do the labor because I'm so pissed. Yeah, you're not even going to get a suit. Maybe, but then hopefully I can get a refund then. If I just, if I go home, believe in me once. I wish I could.
Starting point is 01:00:17 I don't know. I just need to look kind of decent. But at this rate, I'm going to be out of the bar, surviving barstool money in fucking two weeks. Oh, yeah, yeah. My phone. Oh. Okay.
Starting point is 01:00:32 Yep. Let's get that shut off, please. Sorry about that. I thought we had talked about no phones during the pod. Yeah, I don't know what to say. I'm ashamed. We're going to have to start bringing out the basket. Everyone put their phones in the basket. And at the end, you go home with your own.
Starting point is 01:00:45 What do we got here? Are those knockoff air pods? They're not knockoff. They're the evolution. Why are they black? They're the Chinese ones. You haven't seen these? They're the whoaways.
Starting point is 01:00:59 Oh, no. Bro, they're so much better. That's where they go? Those can't be better. They don't go. It looks like those look like an accessory that you got at Zoomies. They don't actually. go inside your ear?
Starting point is 01:01:10 They're so good. The sound quality is better. They go inside and it doesn't go so deep into your ear cavity that it destroys your hearing. And I have big cavities, to be very frank with you. Of course, yeah. And so I'll lose your standard.
Starting point is 01:01:23 I've gaping cavities. My ear gashes are fucking massive. And so I'll lose an earpod. So I got these guys. You've lost AirPods in there? Yeah. Is it just one inside your head? It's like when the Chilean miners got stuff.
Starting point is 01:01:37 Someone has to go down and with crampons walk through my earwax to try and fucking free them. But these, you can't even get most of the who way. Is that how you say it? H-U-A-W-E-I. You're familiar with the brand? Yeah. You're not even allowed to buy their like cell phones in the United States because like the
Starting point is 01:01:57 Chinese are like they confirmed themselves that they're listening on it. Oh yeah. I don't care if they just listen to me banging through Eagles podcasts and like. I don't know. I mean, yeah. The Whoway The Eagles What, bro?
Starting point is 01:02:12 Are terrible What's their record? It should be O and 2 What should be mean? They don't ask how, bro. They ask how many? No pictures on the scorecard. Come again?
Starting point is 01:02:26 There's no pictures on the scorecard. Ah, I like that. Nobody cares how you made it. It's just about the number. I like that. I love that, actually. I'm going to start using that. I don't, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:38 What did your fruity ass do all weekend? What did your fruity Jason ass do this weekend? You know me. You know me. I had shows all weekend. I had a show on Saturday night at 11.15 was my spot. Is that when the show started or that's when you went up? No, the show started 11. My buddy D. Rock was hosting Derek Dresher.
Starting point is 01:03:00 Yeah. And I wanted to get there a little early to chop it up with, chop it up with old pop. Do some chop. Yeah, yeah. And so I left my apartment around like 10, 20, and I ubered. Wow, it must be nice. That's no time for chop, though. Well, no, it's plenty of time for shop because my apartment to the stand is like 22 minutes Ubering.
Starting point is 01:03:23 If there's no traffic, if it's perfect. My Uber driver took the Williamsburg Bridge. Yeah. Why? Why would we do that? I don't speak. Arabic? I can't ask him. We're stopped on the Williamsburg, literally dead stop.
Starting point is 01:03:41 And he turns back and he goes, sorry, a lot of traffic. I almost strangled him. I was like, well, yeah, because you went the longest route of Matt. We may as well have taken the Brooklyn Bridge. Why would we not go through the tunnel? The stand is right there. Why didn't you say something before he got on bridge? Because I wasn't paying attention.
Starting point is 01:04:01 He turns back and he goes, we'll be there in 25 minutes after I'd already been in the Uber for 15 minutes. I think you need to start taking the subway more. I took the train here today. I take the train every single day. And how long did it take? 30 minutes. Okay, so was it worth saving the potential five minutes for you? At 10.15 p.m., yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:21 Why? Because you're scared? No, because the trains don't run on time on the weekends. So it's like I got to be looking at the thing. I just wanted to Uber, get there, do my spot, go home. You know what's good, though, is that Google Maps will tell you when the next train is coming. Yeah, but it went but then it has the big thing and it says delayed
Starting point is 01:04:39 and then it's like, oh, not coming for 30 minutes and shit. Yeah. I don't know. If I were you, I would have Uber'd, excuse me, I would have taken the train in and then as a treat I would have Uber'd home. Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well, but I decided to give myself a treat both ways. That's too much treat.
Starting point is 01:04:55 A double treat. That's double treat. Yeah, I wanted both treats. Marcus Aurelius would never do that. Marcus Aurelius would never take two Ubers. He would take one maybe. I'm not Mark, am I? Well, you're not a Stoic and that shows Shows in every part of your being that you're not a stoic. God punished you for being
Starting point is 01:05:10 overly indulgent on your ubers. Yeah, exactly. Wow. I haven't been Uber in really. You're greedy. I have been Ubering significantly less significantly less. But at night, the Uber
Starting point is 01:05:22 or the train is a pain in the ass. So I ubered. I did not. I got there a minute before my spot started. So no chop. No chop at all. Literally zero chop.
Starting point is 01:05:34 How did they take that? How did pop take that? Eh, you know, Pop. I mean, he took it well. He's really into MLB the show right now, which I find so funny. The game. Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:05:44 He's just playing baseball. And he's telling me about how some dude won a tournament for $15,000. And he was like, I beat that guy. He's like, that should have been me. And I was like, I would love nothing more than for Derek at like 45 years old to start competing in MLB, the show tournaments. Do you think there's any thought of? of expanding Bush to other games. Oh, of course.
Starting point is 01:06:07 Is there? Yeah. It's just too much money. Well, what about just one at a time? Just like attack another market. I would love to. I mean, the white whale is counterstrike, obviously, but it's just the entry into that is a lot.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Is that the most popular game for this sort of thing? That or League of Legends. Got it. So MLB the show isn't? No, no. Well, now you guys just corner that market. We could. That's the thing is we could.
Starting point is 01:06:36 Corner a smaller market become the very best at it. There's always a market to be to be cornered and to like absorb. Dude, speaking of bridges, the yesterday, did you see that there was a guy on the Brooklyn Bridge and the police report or whatever? Like the blotter shit I was seeing on Twitter was that this guy was, had a gun, was suspected to have been shot, was ready to jump off. but the police didn't know if he had a bomb or not. Whoa. Those were the four pieces of information in this, like, tweet that I saw as I was with my kids at the park next to the fucking Brooklyn Bridge. I was like, are we?
Starting point is 01:07:16 Is he going to blow? And there was boats in the water. Like, there were boats going up and down, police boats that had guns on a turret on the fucking front of them. What time was this at? Because I was walking through the park and I saw a bunch of police boats in the water. there were police boats in the water yesterday. Francis, I have to show you these police boats that were driving by in the water. It was fucking shocking.
Starting point is 01:07:40 Those police boats look rough. What do you mean? Like, don't they look kind of old? Look at this shit, Francis. Look, gun on the front of the boat. Let me see. Is it like a turret? It had a turret.
Starting point is 01:07:51 Another one going by a gun on the front of the boat. Why would, why do they even have that? Gone on. Like, as a choice. Has there ever been a situation where the NYP? PD has had to mount a turret and start blasting at oncoming boats. That's our Navy. That's crazy.
Starting point is 01:08:11 Sean, and that boat's 50% gun. It's so gun heavy. I couldn't believe how many boats with how many guns. Like, were they going to try to, like, shoot past the hostage? Were they going to try to shoot him before he blew up his bar?
Starting point is 01:08:28 Also, why would he jump if he had a gun and he'd also been shot? I feel like he could probably just lay down. I mean, this sounds like I was seen from the town. Yeah. I would kill to see that. That would have been sick. I was looking for him.
Starting point is 01:08:39 I was like squinting, but I didn't want to rile my boys up. Imagine being in the NYPD and all of a sudden you're mounted on the front of a boat in a machine gun. You're like, what? That's like the dark night. Yeah, I did not sign up for this. She's been wondering why you would shoot him at before throwing him off a bridge. Like, I thought I was going to be just doing like giving people parking tickets and shit. Let him go.
Starting point is 01:09:02 Now I'm mounted to the front of a ship Like I'm in the Navy It is Navy like But even Navy like that's like That's like the Somali Navy Oh yeah Like our Navy isn't even doing shit like that They're not like raw on the front of a boat
Starting point is 01:09:16 Like it's a tank I mean that's literally what it looks like It looks like it's Somalian pirates Yeah That's crazy It was a wild day I mean that's some solid action though I can't hate that

Starting point is 01:11:56 quo.com slash boydad. That's QUO. dot com slash boydad. I was taking the ferry from Fisher's Island recently back to Connecticut, New London, and you pass the nuclear submarine construction
Starting point is 01:12:14 plant where they built them. Yeah. Built or like is it Build service, all of that. So they built submarines or they build the submarine? It's a nuclear power plant. No, no, no, no. They build nuclear power plant. No, no, no. They build nuclear. submarines there. What is a nuclear
Starting point is 01:12:28 submarine? It's a submarine that has the capability of launching nuclear weapons. Really? We have them underwater? We have them all over the place. We have them all over the world. Oh, wow. We do. I think there are fewer in circulation than you'd think. I thought that a nuclear weapon had to be dropped. No, no. We've found other ways.
Starting point is 01:12:49 Interesting. From below. Yeah. You're thinking of 1945. I am. Yeah. I mean, that's the only time nuclear weapons ever been used. Nuclear weapons have come a long way. That is true. They can be delivered via birds. Yeah, we put it in your food and then you realize that you've just eaten a nuke. You fucking explode from the...
Starting point is 01:13:15 We actually hot bottle the nuke on the way to Vegas by accident. Everyone was passing around a nuke. Was I right about that? That's the only time of nuclear weapons ever been used? Yeah. I know there. testing them constant. I mean, you know, North Korea is always testing them. Imagine being like a shark, like a shark that's lived like 250 years. And then they just test a nuke. It's insane. In your part of the ocean. Have you ever seen the videos of them testing them? It's like truly one of the most insane things I've ever seen. Yeah. Like the waves that it creates, it's like tsunamis start forming.
Starting point is 01:13:45 Yeah. It's crazy. So you pass this nuke testing site. Well, yeah, you pass it and they have two police. police boats, both of which have that machine gun turret. And they're just all day long, and I assume through the night too, just patrolling the water in front of the nuclear testing site. For what? For like James Barcl- For like one dude to just swim through. A guy in a gilly suit. Try to come and break their neck.
Starting point is 01:14:16 Yeah, they're guarding against someone, I don't know, either scuppering the subs or. stealing the plans. Like, I just don't know what they could be. I think we could actually, like, get rid of those guys. I don't think they need to be doing that. I don't think there's a single person in America that would be capable of figuring out how to even get on to these submarines and then launching nukees from them. There's definitely someone. Why are you trying to, like, true, true.
Starting point is 01:14:46 Yeah, that would be the most likely. Who caught his, like, girlfriend who he worked with. Yeah. Banging some cook. Yeah, he's like, now I'm going to go blow up the whole. country to get revenge, she'll see. I'm going to launch nuke on her house. Drop it right on top of her home.
Starting point is 01:15:04 Maybe it's just, maybe it's way easier than we think. She lives in a pretty heavily residential neighborhood collateral damage. Yeah. Well, she should have thought about that. It's just a button. Yeah. It might, yeah, it might just be really easy to do. A trigger.
Starting point is 01:15:19 No, I bet it's one of those things where two people have to turn keys at exactly the same time. Yeah, definitely. They have to kiss. Two straight men have to kiss to make it happen. Yeah. Yeah. Two Navy seamen have to kiss. But the point is, is that you see those two boats going up and down and you're kind of like, man, first of all, the fuel cost. Yeah. Then the man hour cost. You know, I get it and we need it absolutely with 100%. You just, I don't know. My thought was like, couldn't they build a guard station?
Starting point is 01:15:51 Yeah. So it sounds like we're in agreement. There with like a really powerful gun. Yeah. It sounds like we're completely on the same page. Roan, you're the odd man out. You guys are trying to lull America into a sense of security. So we like fall asleep on the job. And then somebody just marches in and fucking twist the key.
Starting point is 01:16:08 I just don't think that they could probably even have a guy just sitting on the submarine. Our defense budget is probably like, guard it from the inside. We're probably spending a trillion dollars on defense. And you're like, but think about how much gas costs these days. I mean, it does. It costs a lot. It's going up. It's going up quick.
Starting point is 01:16:25 My Uber driver in Vegas was like, I just saw $5.60. Oh, yeah. We're fucked. I'm like, oh, I wouldn't know because Tesla. Tesla. Yeah. How much is that in electricity? How many volts is that?
Starting point is 01:16:36 How much is that nuclear? You guys have super pumps around here? We should just go to nuclear powered cars. That's what is pushing towards. Yeah, that would be sick. That would be cool. Maybe we should do a nuke week. Newk week.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Yeah, nuclear week. And we'll go to like, because there's a power plant. Right by where I grew up. Three Mile Island. That one. Three Mile Island. Wait, what's the one near? Oh, a power plant near.
Starting point is 01:16:58 Yeah. We'll go to Three Mile Island, Chernobyl. And then that one, the place in Japan. Well, Chernobyl is going to be pricey. Hiroshima? No, not Hiroshima. I don't know if that's like, you don't even know if you can go there. You definitely can.
Starting point is 01:17:11 And people do. And there's-Horoshima? Yeah, dude. I thought that was still unsafe. No, no. Hiroshima's okay. People go there. There's like a museum.
Starting point is 01:17:20 Don't people live there? In Hiroshima? Yeah, dude. Yeah. Can we get a fact check on that? The place you can't go is where the tsunami knocked out the nuclear power plant in Japan. That place is bad. That must be what I'm thinking of.
Starting point is 01:17:33 Hiroshima, you visit. You take the bullet train there. I thought it still had like unsafe radiation levels. No, no, no. And you'll learn about this on nuke week. Yeah, exactly. This is why we need it. Did your parents used to say when you were microwaving something to nuke it?
Starting point is 01:17:49 Mm-hmm. My parents would say that. Oh, yeah. It's a classic. It drove me crazy. Yeah. We had a power plant in like the town over from us that was like shut down. And there was like a, they would always show like the blast radius, the blast radius if it were to explode.
Starting point is 01:18:05 And we were in the area of we would just turn to dust. Like literally like we were in like the red zone. Oh yeah. And it was like if this thing goes, you guys don't even have time to react. You'll just disintegrate, which is probably the best way to go. Yeah, see? Oh, Plymouth. Plymouth.
Starting point is 01:18:24 It doesn't say Deluxbury. Oh, there it is. Deluxebury or Cape Cod Bay. Right across from the Duxbury Bay. That's Plymouth where Plymouth Rock is. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's what the Pilgrims.
Starting point is 01:18:35 I've been there. First things they set up. I've touched the rock. Yeah. Nuclear power. They said, let's crash the boat onto the rock and then let's start building a nuclear power plant. And it was easy for them to crash the boat. And they realized this.
Starting point is 01:18:47 And they're like, well, someone else could just crash their boat here. Let's put up some guards. Yeah. And ever since then, we've had guards with machine guns. I'm going to go for a swim late at night by that place and see what happens. Just a late scuba scuba. Yeah, they must have some kind of sonar capability. Yeah, I want to know if they got guys under the water.
Starting point is 01:19:07 You know? Like, you guys got all these people above ground, but what about me? Because I'm going right under your boat. We never thought of that. It is a good question. What would happen if you went in and you just kind of kept your arms by your side to make yourself look like a sea? And just kicked. We had a very curious little friend down there.
Starting point is 01:19:30 Okay. Do you think I could, you think you'd be okay if I did that just to like expose their lack of security? No, I think people did that on. Something bad would happen. If I just appeared behind the boat and I was like, you know,
Starting point is 01:19:42 you would bring guns through airport security. Hello. Missed something. You're welcome. You're welcome. People bring guns through airport security after 9-11 to, like, show how easy it was. Really? They turned themselves in.
Starting point is 01:19:58 That's crazy. That's dumb as fuck. How does that not get, I feel like a gun should be the easiest thing to pick up? I guess not. Like a metal detector? I mean, this is probably before their, like, imaging was at the level of that now. The imaging is pretty, pretty good. Yeah, it's good.
Starting point is 01:20:15 Yeah, I hate that shit. That probably is, it's probably just a diversion. That's probably not even where the nukes are. No. I know a lot of them are up in Montana. Oh, yeah. My buddy who worked at the Air Force Base up there said that they saw a lot of of unidentified flying activity up there.
Starting point is 01:20:32 Yeah, I think there's a lot by Yosemite as well, personally, just a hunch. UFOs up there, too? No nuclear weapons. I know, but do you think there's... One time I went to Yosemite and I was driving and there was all of a sudden out of nowhere, like a tank drove by in the middle of the woods. And then I looked it up and there was a military base like right there. And I was like, oh, yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:52 Is that a moose? Oh, no, it's a tank. Yeah, no, that's a tank. It was like a tank with like dudes on the back. Like, I'm not kidding. It wasn't an actual tank. It was like one of those big asses. There's a moose with a rifle up ahead.
Starting point is 01:21:05 It was like one of those big military trucks. But you know how they pile all the dudes into the back? Yeah. Filled with guys. Usually that happens in like when there's like a rebellion. Yeah. In a third world country. Yeah, that's save for Kosovo.
Starting point is 01:21:20 It was crazy. I mean, I was in the middle of. nowhere. Those guys arrive in town to cut someone's hand off. Yeah, it was literally like this. It's the start of blood diamond. Yeah. Just out of nowhere. By the way, I told you guys I watched, I rewatched
Starting point is 01:21:33 American Sniper. I'm on a big rewatch because clearly I can't understand movies at all. So God help me if I watch a new one. Yeah. So I'm on a rewatch and tear right now. And I watched American Sniper again. I had forgotten about the scene where the bad guy drills the head of a child
Starting point is 01:21:54 and they show it. I remember that. I remember like closing my eyes when that happened. Once they start bringing out the drills and the torture stuff. They kill a child, a boy with a drill
Starting point is 01:22:05 and drill through his skull. It's one of the most like graphic things I've ever seen. Is that the one where they at like where are they when that happens? Iraq. Iraq? They're not in like a prison.
Starting point is 01:22:16 No. Hmm. That's, you're thinking of zero. Zero. Zero Dark 30. But do they do drills in Zero Dark 30? No, it's all waterboarding.
Starting point is 01:22:25 And they mostly made them like, or like lay on top of each other naked. Yeah. And might be gay to disgrace themselves. Have you ever seen the report with Adam Driver? That's a great movie. It is a good movie. It's about how all of that stuff like didn't actually work. Right.
Starting point is 01:22:39 I need to rewatch that. Which is so crazy. Like they were waterboarding people for so long. They probably still are, but they were doing it for so long. And they were like, yeah, we've actually never got one single piece of information doing this. It did seem like in Zero Dark 30, though, they did get something. They got the name of the courier, right? Don't they get the courier's name?
Starting point is 01:23:00 I thought they got the wrong name. Like, I thought that's what it was. I thought that's what the problem was, was that waterboarding, they would, if anything, they would get fake answers. People will say anything under duress to get it to stop. Yeah. I think that was proven a lot. But in Zero Dark 30, it certainly seemed like they got Abu Ahmed from a watermarker. interrogation, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:21 Interesting. That'd be funny if they like kept making them do gay shit and they didn't get anything from it, but they're like, let's try it again. I mean, they'd probably. I just want to watch. That probably happened. I just want to check it out. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:34 Suck his dick for me again. Yeah, that must be in Zero Dark 30 because they're actually at Guantanamo Bay in Zero Dark 30, right? I think that the majority of those torture scenes are happening at a basin or in the Middle East. Oh, interesting. Was my kind of understanding. But again, I don't know shit about what I'm watching. No, me neither. Can you look that up really quick, Sean?
Starting point is 01:23:59 Just where are the torture scenes happening in Zero Dark 30? It seemed like it was in the Middle East because she arrives. I thought it was Guantanano because the guy left because he like quits. He goes back to Washington. Yeah, because he's like, I can't do this shit anymore. A secret black site CIA black site overseas Maybe maybe it is
Starting point is 01:24:27 Oh wait no no wait I think you are right Because then unless this is just two completely different scenes But then there's the scene where they drive the car into the base and blow it up That that happens and that really did happen Yeah yeah That was in the Middle East Man that movie is so good It's really good
Starting point is 01:24:43 It's the woman who did the Hurt Locker Catherine Bigelow Oh my God Who was married by the way to James whatever the guy who did fucking Titanic Cameron Cameron Cameron I don't think they're married anymore Has she done movies since then
Starting point is 01:25:01 Since her locker and Zero Dark 30 I have no clue Because she's one of those Automatic directors I mean hurt lockers unbelievably good That's another one on the ending when he goes back Yeah It's like oh my he's got some beast
Starting point is 01:25:17 What else has Catherine Bigelow done as far as movies she's directed. Catherine Gigolo. Now we're just on a fact-finding mission. It's kind of nice though. It is nice. House of Dynamite. Point break. Oh, I liked House of Dynamite.
Starting point is 01:25:33 Nobody else did. But I like Did you like Point Break? I've never seen Pointe. So her Locker in Zero Dark 30 are her big ones. I would think so. Have you not seen Point Break? No. Oh, sweetie. Never even heard of it. Oh, honey. I'm so sorry. She won for her locker.
Starting point is 01:25:49 Both Best Picture and I think Best Director. Point Break is Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze as surfers. Love that. I don't have to check that out. It's really good. Have you ever seen Her Locker? Of course. No, you haven't.
Starting point is 01:26:01 I haven't heard you say a thing about it ever. Well, I've seen it probably twice or three times. But I think it is one of the greatest movie watching experiences to watch a movie for the second time that you know is good. Yeah. Because you're not wondering if it's good, but you don't remember enough of the details that you know exactly what's going to happen. you just know you'll be satisfied. Really? Really.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Are you not a rewatch guy? No, not really. I'm more of a... I mean, I've obviously rewatched plenty of movies, but the first time. So how did you know the address from the town if you don't rewatch movies? It's just photographic memory.
Starting point is 01:26:32 No chance. You don't have a photograph. You've seen that movie at least six times. The town? Mm-hmm. Once or twice. No, I've seen it like a hundred times. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:41 Remember when John Ham's like asking her how big like a dollar is or whatever? Like how many inches a dollar is or some four? It's not even worth its own weight in oxy. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's a banger. You miss it?
Starting point is 01:26:53 Of course I miss it. With the oxies, the bills. Remember that when he's at the bar? Yeah. That's a great movie. It's a classic. I mean, it doesn't get much better than that. It really doesn't.
Starting point is 01:27:05 The departed, probably. Would you say the departed is better than the town? Yeah, I would. I mean, just the cast alone. Yeah. Yeah, it's a classic. But it's a tough one. Town is really, really.
Starting point is 01:27:17 They're both really good. They are. They're both really good. Yeah. No movies have been made about her in Boston since. Thank God. There hasn't been any good Boston movies in a minute. Boston's dead.
Starting point is 01:27:28 Philly's up. Can I, let me ask you guys a question. Please do. How do you guys handle hunger? Ooh. Are you able to just be like, I'm hungry, but that's okay? Yeah, right now. Yeah, but you have no choice.
Starting point is 01:27:45 and you just had a fat smoothie. 20 ounce. You just had a 20 ounce pliable, extra scoop. I just had a 20 ounce of strawberry and banana. No, I mean, it depends on the scenario. You can just, can you just like live in hunger and sit in hunger? That would be Marcus Aurelius. And be like, I'm going to, I know I'm going to eat in a couple hours.
Starting point is 01:28:04 I'm going to wait until then. It depends on how hungry I am. I have insane stomach problems. So sometimes I'm like, I have to eat something. Or else I'm going to projectile vomit. See, that's what happens to me is I get nauseous. Yeah, me too. When I'm hungry.
Starting point is 01:28:19 Yeah. And that's where I, I don't feel well. But that's if I'm like really hungry. That's if like I haven't eaten anything today. Maybe some nuts. Maybe keeping a pocket of nuts. Yeah. I mean, I'm really not doing.
Starting point is 01:28:31 I'm so hungry that like. Just start eating almonds. I think I'm dying. Yeah, you should just start eating always like I'm dying. Because almonds like they like fill you up. They fill you up real nice and proper. Use this. Have a sip.
Starting point is 01:28:44 I've been drinking. I'm not making all episode. Yeah, if you chug water too, it suppresses the appetite. Chug water is supposed to oppress the appetite or take up smoking. Yeah. That's supposed to smoke cigarettes. Yeah, nicotine. Have a cheeky fag.
Starting point is 01:28:56 Yeah, or a lucy. I'm going to Charleston this weekend for this wedding, and I'm probably going to pick up a pack of cheeky sigs for a wedding. Really? Maybe a pen. Maybe I penned in some cheeky sigs. Just live my best life. Gotta get the art.
Starting point is 01:29:13 I got to get the art. it's just going to be weekend no kids you know I'm gonna have two days of being able to sleep in as late as I want oh yeah you're probably gonna get buckled
Starting point is 01:29:21 I'm gonna get buckled I'm gonna embarrass down in Charleston babbaru I might see your boy Craig down there yeah yeah I'm a guy in Charleston without a gun
Starting point is 01:29:30 I'd like to go to Charleston why don't you I don't know I don't really have much of a reason to yeah you do the whole cast of Southern Charms down there I'm down to rip it this weekend. Should we go?
Starting point is 01:29:47 Sure. We're going to need suits. There's an Indian lady in Brooklyn that does great suits from whatever. She can turn them around quick, but they're not going to fit. You've met my friend that's getting married. Have I? My friend, Allison's friend. Oh my God.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Ange is getting married. Good old Ange? Yeah. She came to your home. Ange. When did she come to my home? Love, his home, dumbass. You don't even have a home.
Starting point is 01:30:11 Sorry. You live in a fumigation. I mean, my roach problem is... That's not your home. That's your roach's home. There's not a single roach in that entire place. It's not true. It is.
Starting point is 01:30:23 It's so blind to it. It's actually like... Your walls are going to crumble one day and they're going to overtake you like starship troopers. Did a deep clean of the bathroom yesterday. Drano. Do you ever feel like someone's watching you? Because that's the roaches. No, I never felt like that.
Starting point is 01:30:38 They're like peering in through the vents. No, never. Biding their time like the toy soldiers from Toy Story. ready to fucking pounce on you. No, there really isn't any roaches. It's great. Harry's lucky that he sleeps through the night because if he ever woke up in the middle of the night in his bedroom in total darkness, he would see 1,000 pairs of eyes.
Starting point is 01:30:55 Yeah, that's what I've always thought. You're like Ratatouille when he goes into the freezer at the walk-in. I have been worried that I'm going to go into the bathroom at night and there's going to be roaches, but there just isn't. They're just not there. And I think I found out the reason. I think it's because my bathroom, the wall of it borders with the wall. with the wall of the trash room.
Starting point is 01:31:15 And I think they were coming in through that wall. But when I cocked it up, when I filled it up with cock, there hasn't been any sense. So they have no way to give it. It's because you're too dirty for the roaches. Like for us,
Starting point is 01:31:25 this is even bad. My apartment is incredibly clean and incredibly well kept. Show me a picture of it then. Beautiful space. Not a chance. It literally is. It's a very great space.
Starting point is 01:31:35 You have the Himalayas of laundry. You guys have never been to my apartment. There's just no doubt. You don't even know what it looks like. I've seen some pictures of it. No, you have never seen a photo. I have. No.
Starting point is 01:31:45 Of your TV setup. Dumbass. I've seen photos. You sent me the link. Yeah. The link. Pretty sure you sent me the link to the listing or something. The street easy link.
Starting point is 01:31:54 Oh, you were giving out the street easy link like it was a fucking candy. Did you guys, did you guys watch any college football? Did you, did you see my tweet about that ESPN thing? No. What was it?
Starting point is 01:32:06 The ESPN Plus? The commercial break. Are you getting this at all? They've been doing it. I've been getting a, commercial break on ESPN Plus where it's just like the stadium sound you don't get you so you're not getting the same thing as me I'm getting like the on the ESPN HD whenever I watch a game there's not the commercials it's just silent view of the stadium okay that's what I would hope to get I get
Starting point is 01:32:28 this screen instead and it like so I so Saturday night I'm cooking dinner and flex as I do and I've of course I've already got my 10,000 steps at this point but I'm cooking and the easy map is almost completely boiled. I'm finishing up my taco bowl. You're making taco bowls? I'm making a taco bowl. With what? The ingredients for a taco bowl.
Starting point is 01:32:53 Rice, beef. Rice, taco bowl. Lettuce, tomato, cheese. Okay. A little bit of cheloo. You got some sort of seasoning in there too? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:33:01 Taco seasoning on the beef. Nice. Of course. Try it with a baked sweet potato. I hate sweet potatoes. And maybe some cottage cheese. I hate cottage cheese. Some Mike's hot honey and avocado.
Starting point is 01:33:14 All I need is Chalula. I literally think that's all I need forever. Like if I could just get a lifetime supply of Chulula. Historically have stomach problems? Not from Chalula. Anyway, you're making your slop bowl. And I'm watching the LSU All Miss game. And every time the commercial cuts, it goes to this screen
Starting point is 01:33:33 and it lets out this insanely loud, whooshing noise. And it's like, I literally, literally feel like I'm losing my mind. I'm like in the middle of cooking and all of a sudden you just hear, on repeat. It's just a cycle. And then they add in these weird like doors slamming and shit in the background.
Starting point is 01:33:55 It's like, why would it, why not just leave it silent? Just have it be silent. A full commercial break. Oh. What was that? What was that?
Starting point is 01:34:06 Oh. Someone here? Hello? That wind. Someone let the door on? Finally, a nice, peaceful commercial break. That's what it is every single time. Listen to the bank.
Starting point is 01:34:23 Oh. What is that? Someone here in your building? Yes, but you, I literally thought it was. I'm like looking around. I'm like, what was that noise? Oh, it's the weird fucking sounds that they're playing on the commercial break. Uh-huh.
Starting point is 01:34:38 Uh-huh. Oh, you got a little soldier there up on the TV? Master Chief. Oh, okay. Cool. Master Chief's holding up the remote soundbar. Bro, are you saying that's an OLED TV? No, that's not an OLED.
Starting point is 01:34:51 Because that looks like the most washed out blues I've ever seen in my life. It's not an OLED. It looks like you poured a bottle of hypnotic over the front of your screen. That's what my world looks like after I've had a lot of hypnotic. That's not an OLED. That's a mini lead. That's nothing, bro. That's lead paint.
Starting point is 01:35:06 Bro, you literally are watching TV through a fucking picture frame. Dude, that looks terrible. That shit is glowing. Why is it so? fuzzy. Are you sure there's not a fish tank in front of that? At least I can see the TV. You can where? Where can you see it? Screen. What are those streaks? I feel like I have like a cataract or something like that when I'm looking at it. What's that glow coming off the bottom of your screen? It's the least sharp imaging I've ever seen in my life. That's just from my phone camera. Oh yeah. You're smudge. It sort of looks like you could step into that TV and see your dead relatives for 10 minutes. Yeah, that's the river sticks of televisions. Just like quickly transport to wherever they're all waiting. I got the Samson.
Starting point is 01:35:44 on sticks. I saw your TV. I sent a photo of it. I saw it out. I was out getting food and I saw my TV would never be that high. The place I had the place I was at had those like picture frame TVs. That was a very funny. I mean, they looked fucking awful. Yeah. Well, my was literally that high. There was a, it was a like the photo like it was like the art, which by the way, the art is like literally just like stock getty images photos. I don't know for sure that those were framed TVs. They're not, bro. There was a massive mute logo in the top right. Is that what you got? You're just looking at the Mona Lisa with the volume dial right below her.
Starting point is 01:36:19 No, I'm pretty sure a frame TV doesn't doesn't do it that way. They don't do it that way. So what were they? Those were just TVs that happened to be in frames. Cheap, those are cheap knockoff versions. There's a knockoff.
Starting point is 01:36:29 It's a coffee shop. Why would they cheap out? Because they're a coffee shop. I could tell from the shitty fucking gear they had, that's not a good coffee shop. It wasn't. It was bad. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:36:40 The place sucked. The TVs were touching the ceiling. I've never seen a TV that high. Yeah. It was bad. Flush against the wall. It was a bad restaurant. Is it a restaurant?
Starting point is 01:36:49 It was like a coffee diner type place. Yeah. Where was it? In Queens, don't worry about me. No, I was hoping it was on the road. It was like those can't be
Starting point is 01:36:57 coffee shops that you selectively go to, electively go to in New York. No, it was. It's crazy. Well, it's a new shop. You know, you got to try all the new spots. Sounds like buns, bro.
Starting point is 01:37:08 I'm more of a fine one I like and stick with it. No, I like trying them all. I like that from you. Yeah. That's how I'm. with fragrance. I feel like it's very easy to tell if a coffee shop's going to be trash from the outside. Oh, from the curb.
Starting point is 01:37:21 You can, so why did you go to that one? Because I don't know. It looked like it would be good. Studder and Stanley over here. Get it together. I have been on a little bit of a coffee tear lately. Oh, yeah? Yeah, but I don't like it.
Starting point is 01:37:35 I'm not a big fan of coffee. Well, why are you on the tear then? Because I like, I like the taste of it. Okay. But I hate how it makes me feel. So I drink decaf. I, I had a big fan. I had a decaf yesterday.
Starting point is 01:37:46 There you go. When we were heading into that 4 p.m. Slate, I started getting a little sleepy. So why do you have a decaf? The decaf still has caffeine in it, dumbass. This is insane. It just has less. You could do a half-calf.
Starting point is 01:37:58 Oh, brother, you're speaking my language. I am. I live and breathe the half-calf. Do you? Yeah, of course. Okay, so what's your drink? I go half-calf, and then I go an energy drink. Wait a second.
Starting point is 01:38:10 But I'm saying what is your coffee order? This has been the most contradictory three. minutes I've ever heard. I know, I have a half. Well, because energy drinks don't make me feel bad because they have Lthianine in them. Wait a second. Just tell me what your coffee order is, please.
Starting point is 01:38:27 Ice coffee with half and half. That's not what a half calf is. I'm aware. I know the difference between half calf and half and half. I'm not fucking retarded. A half and half calf. Half calf with half and half. I know what half calf is.
Starting point is 01:38:43 It's half regular, half de, And then I get half and half in it. Hang on. Okay. So that's not half calf. If you got a decaf with whole milk, it'll be doing the same thing. A half calf is half caffeinated, half decaf. Oh, so you're going half a cup of coffee that's caffeinated half a cup of decaf coffee in your ice
Starting point is 01:39:07 coffee. And then you're pouring cream in that? I'm not making this at home. I'm sorry. I go to a place. and I say, can I get a half-calf with half and a half? Let me get a triple half. I'm like three halves.
Starting point is 01:39:21 Yeah, let me get a one and a half. Yeah. Half-calf and a half. Okay, well, that's fair. You know what I would suggest? I mean, if you did espresso drinks, like you could get an iced latte. Yeah, no, I can't do espresso. But you would get one shot of caffeinated espresso and one shot of decaf espresso.
Starting point is 01:39:41 I used to order that because I wanted it to taste stronger. but I didn't want that much caffeine. The espresso is like, like that's my kryptonite. What do you mean? You could kill me with espresso. Does decaf make you shit the same way that full cast us? It does. I think so.
Starting point is 01:39:58 That's like a big shit right at right when we were just cruising into halftime at the 4 p.m. yesterday. Love to hear that. It's probably right when I was by the bridge. Yeah. I'm my buddy Nate over. Lottaball. Wow. Nate came all the way from Maine?
Starting point is 01:40:12 Yep. How did he get there? It is fun. It's fun watching ball with my bro. It is fun watching ball. I had a strong friendship weekend. We were doing toasts. Love that.
Starting point is 01:40:25 Who was great. Who had the best toast? And what was it? I would think I gave a pretty good one, honestly. Makes you proud. My buddy Dave gave a good one. What did Dave say? Portoy.
Starting point is 01:40:37 Holy shit. Dave was there? Dave was there. He's the reason we had a plane. That's sick. Yeah. Was Austin there? No
Starting point is 01:40:44 Dave doesn't trust him anymore Damn Damn Yeah What was Dave's Toast I mean he was just like Commending our buddy
