hello and welcome back to spiritually speaking with me sam and me jace we are so excited to be
back we literally can't stop laughing we're just gonna have to keep this in now i know we are we've
tried this what three times yeah we just can't stop laughing um so excited to be back it is 2024
we are recording actually in like real time now which is really exciting um and yeah we just can't
wait to get into another episode really well it's the second of jan social media has been heaving
with all oh my god all the recap of everyone's year which has been a lot yeah of course i jumped
on that i fucking love stuff like that and there isn't i love you know what i love like even for
like my personal instagram yeah i just love to go back myself and watch them because it just makes
me so happy it's nice to refer back yeah and like see like what you've done that year or whether
it's old reels and things like that i love watching all those videos they just make you so
happy yeah i don't really do it for other people I like to just do it just for myself but then it's nice like for the salons one as well like to see what the salon has done in a year and
things like that but you are so right like Instagram is covered it's a lot it is a lot so
what I did is I love I feel well I love social media I don't actually I have a really complicated
relationship with social media I think everyone does don't they well that's it because my business is like needed to be on there yeah yeah but personally
I like it for memories but some of the stuff I say I'm just like it's too much yeah so what I did
and I feel really bad saying this I am happy for people but I find that um like my work is really
busy this time of year yeah and I think people get really messed up with what they see on
social media then they come to me and they're like I'm really not happy and I'm like oh my god
when actually maybe they are happy but that's made them feel unhappy no but exactly made them
feel a bit inadequate yeah 100% so I basically muted everyone I didn't mute you yeah
I kept you and like my family but I I just went through and muted everybody that's such a good idea other than
like maybe yeah like 10 accounts that i actually find really like they make me happy yeah it's
spiritual whatever you make me happy oh i'm glad um but yeah so i just muted everyone and i did the
same on my business account as well
because I have got into this especially while like going back home to visit I just was on my
phone all the time and I was in like scrolling and I'm like what am I doing this is it's quite
unlike me yeah I hate that yeah time just passes you by and you're like I've done nothing with this
time other than just sit and scroll on Instagram so I basically detoxed and have muted nearly everybody yeah that's nice and i just post more for business and i didn't actually post
memories but i will at some point because yeah you do it whenever you want it doesn't have to
be on new year's eve does it i know so we haven't actually caught up with one another yet so this
um beginning especially the podcast is going to be us just chatting about Christmas New Year's what we got up to
and how we're feeling and how the launch of the podcast has gone as well I know yeah it's been
so lovely and even with us saying then about the reflecting back on the year I'd noticed when I
did that when we bought the podcast equipment yeah was in May. Oh my, was it May?
Yeah, it was May.
God.
And we'd started talking about it in March.
Oh my gosh, it was May.
Yeah, and I was,
because we bought the equipment in May.
The end of May was when I was starting treatment.
Yeah.
So I, that was when I'd kind of said to you like,
oh, I just don't think now is like a good time for me
because I knew that then if I was doing the podcast I'd have been being a bit fake like
saying that I was fine I'd have been like I'm totally fine like dying inside um so I knew that
that wasn't a good time and you were like no like don't worry about it and I was like went back to
the UK for a little while for a few months yeah and then we just waited till you came back and
then it actually was perfect yeah yeah it's mad isn't it really yeah yeah and we've had some amazing feedback
like it's been so lovely so thank you so much to everybody who has listened and really let us know
what you think and telling us how much you love it because it's been so lovely it has yeah lots
of messages like from friends and people like clients and just random people
which is really nice it's so lovely I had a really sweet message from someone who said that she'd
listened to the episode when I'd chatted about the fertility treatment and how it just made her cry
but like in a lovely way like and it was she was going through something similar and it's it's so

up my business I was like is anyone gonna book yeah and then whenever I do an event you have
it's like your birthday party is anyone gonna turn up oh my god yeah that's so true so I knew
my mum and dad were gonna listen yeah and your mum and dad were gonna listen but I was like is
anyone else so yeah that was quite funny my mum was like um oh i'm really proud of
you you know um i didn't realize how much you skipped school my sister said that when she saw
the comment oh yeah on your instagram yeah so yeah it did make me laugh i know that did make
me it was good we've done well i think we're proud of ourselves and we're going into the new year
like embracing that so which is good enjoying doing this yeah yeah which is great how
was your Christmas babes Christmas was lovely I would actually say it was probably one of my most
enjoyable Christmases which is weird because obviously I wasn't drinking yeah and for me like
I love to have a drink I love I don't enjoy getting drunk but I thoroughly enjoy a drink
so I really thought that for Christmas I
would really miss that but um no I thoroughly enjoyed it we went to a friend's house which we
do pretty much every year when we're in Dubai um just so relaxing like sitting in the garden
we had Christmas dinner we do presents but like we're very minimal with presents so like between me and Andy we have like
a routine that we do every year 21st to 24th of December we go on a staycay and that's like our
time just the two of us complete relaxation come back on Christmas Eve have like a nice Christmas
Eve with like friends and the dog and then Christmas Day is the same and it's just become such a nice routine and it was
it was just lovely it was so relaxing I love that you use routine over Christmas you're like
routine for me is always like it's all about routine always we wake up at eight o'clock
that's the only thing I'd say when my routine doesn't exist oh that's good um right now anyway yeah um but yeah no so we just had such
a nice time it was so relaxing super chilled as much as it's nice to go back to the uk i find that
for me going back i always get ill yeah always get ill because it's so cold and i just love
actually not traveling yeah and just staying here no No, I get that. I totally get that.
Yeah, I think normally, because especially for me in the salon,
normally I would have been working so much beforehand.
So to then just stay here is a really nice, relaxing thing to do.
But it was quite strange this year, not working in December.
Yeah, because your industry is like chaos before Christmas.
Chaos before Christmas.
And the girls were amazing in the salon like they looked after it so well and i actually thought i
was going to be there a lot more than i was um but i realized that i wasn't actually needed as much
as i thought i was going to be needed which was a lovely thing obviously but also quite strange to
get your head around that it does work without you yeah it's like oh okay it's a compliment it
is a compliment but it's yeah hard to get your head around and you've just thought as well yeah
you're letting go which is really good yeah that's really yeah exactly good and positive yeah how was
your christmas it was nice i i went back to the uk so i flew home christmas eve so i kept it a
short trip seven days of chaos which is not really. No, it's normally like a month.
Yeah.
Yeah, I do love being with my family.
And it was a surprise.
So my little nieces and nephews didn't know.
Oh my God, that's so lovely.
Yeah, which is cute.
So I surprised them Christmas morning, which was...
On Christmas morning?
Yeah.
Oh, that's so special.
It was really good.
How did you do that?
So I just hid in the car.
My parents drove there.
So they picked me up Christmas
Eve then I hid at my mum and dad's house for the afternoon and evening yeah but with the time
difference I was asleep by like half six woke up Christmas day I was like right let's do this
and I had like a massive speaker to play Christmas songs um our family always um play Felice Navidad
like it's just always silly well we did from
covid because then we all went to see each other from like our front gardens and then yeah i started
playing that and then my sister came out and she just like ran on the spot with excitement it was
so we kept giggling because she just like was just running but not moving not moving oh and then yeah
and then the kids were like oh my god so yeah then the same with
my other sister and it was just lovely it was really nice for the children yeah and I love
being an auntie like anyone that knows me knows I'm really like yeah obsessed with my sister's
kids like I just love them so yeah it was really good and they all loved it yeah and then obviously
was there for Christmas and Boxing Day and then caught up with um my friend I didn't see any other friends
that was hard this is the first year I've not gone and like scheduled like a whole itinerary
honestly if people are listening to this who don't live abroad like it's such a thing because
the first year that I ever went back for Christmas I did like three weeks at home
and I saw people breakfast lunch and dinner oh yeah you do just focus on your
meals of it was yeah and I was I'm not doing this yeah no so and I think because of Christmas and
Boxing Day and obviously everyone else was busy so that helps yeah and obviously with like my work
I'm hanging out on a Monday afternoon and no one's free so I would then be my evenings and weekends
I'm not doing it um and it's a short trip and it's about family so it was really nice and then i flew back new year's eve oh so i was in the sky
once yeah i think it must have been i left the uk at eight o'clock so that would have been midnight
here yeah so i think probably that was a good time to fly actually it was a nice time yeah because
then you landed in the morning yeah 7 a 7am exactly it was a dream and i got
um i asked for extra leg room and they gave it to me i don't feel like i know most people are
like ask for business class yeah yeah i was like can i have a row with leg room so asked for extra
leg room so didn't actually book the seat or anything no way yeah and um that is good i think
because i was flying on my own yeah there's like more flexibility but yeah so i was like oh can i just have extra leg room if you've got it yeah great yeah so and
i slept the whole flight but i have slept so much so i landed so obviously it's the second day i
landed yesterday morning um and so i slept the flight got back went to sleep woke up had some
nandos and then fell back asleep i love nandos
and then i slept for 10 hours last night i'm actually a bit concerned how much i generally
think i've been asleep when i've been awake for the last 48 hours you obviously need it though
yeah i think like just socially he's just like resetting yeah and I think I'm always used to like I have so much time for me in my life
yeah so I'm used to just sitting and chilling I didn't have any of that oh I see while you were
back yeah so now this is you taking that time but you know when you have a nap and you can feel
yourself trying to force yourself to wake up do you ever have that or is it I can't nap believe
it or not I can't now you might be able to learn
when the twins yeah but like when or even when you're sleeping anyone that has this please let
me know i'm not crazy because i am weird with my sleep i like sleep walk talk oh see i talk like i
really sleep yeah yeah sorry sit up chat i stood up the other week i stood up in my bed up against
the wall no way yeah do you wake up when you're
doing it well I did wake up oh okay because I was having a sleepover yeah you know just yes you know
that's even more embarrassing it's not like a boyfriend that knows you well
and I woke up to their hand on my ankle because I'm standing up on the pillow.
Oh my God.
So you stood up on the bed?
I stood up on the bed up against the wall.
Oh my God.
And then I woke up to them grabbing my ankle saying,
James, what are you doing?
Well, I know.
That could have been quite dangerous.
It would have just been awful.
Yeah.
And I had no pyjamas on.
Oh my God.
That is so funny.
Oh my God.
That's hilarious. There's so many, so many sleep walking walking and talking things I don't know what I was doing though I don't know what I was dreaming but anyway that
happened wow so yeah my sleep is weird but I was napping and I felt like I was being told to wake
up and oh okay but I was like no I'm not waking up and I felt like I was trying to force myself
out the nap and then I was just like let it be yeah and that's what I did and it was good so yeah I've basically been sleeping
I love that I know I've probably done a lot less sleep I would say oh babe sorry no not even not
out of not because I can't because of like my body or anything just um I feel like I've just
been quite busy yeah so I've been going to bed like loads later than what I would normally um but still having like considering how pregnant I am I'm actually I'm still having
quite good sleep yeah that's like don't get me wrong turning over in the night is like
an absolute military operation like to go to sleep at the moment I have a pregnancy pillow
then I have a blanket to rest the bump on then I have a pillow on my back with a hot water bottle because
my back's so sore and then i have to prop myself up slightly to not get the acid reflux oh babe so
then when i have to roll over you have to maneuver all of that over it's such a process oh babe but
it's fine like i still end up with what feels like good sleep well that's good that's what
matters really is how you feel when you wake up. Yeah, exactly.
I just can't nap.
Like I've never been, I can't really switch off.
So to nap is like unheard of.
Well, I think the only times I nap, I do nap often to be quite honest.
The only times, only Tuesday, Wednesday.
Every time.
I do love to nap, but usually I will just meditate and then fall asleep and my meditation
is really simple I just focus on my breath yeah so I just lay there that is a talent though
it really is a talent no it is like to be like for me to switch off it's hard like even if I'm
having a massage I'm thinking about I do sometimes though but then i will sort of bring the discipline on the fly okay i was um with my extra leg room yeah and but then because i had extra leg room
i had the row with all the bassinets and babies i did think that when you said that i thought
but it was fine it was there were two babies yeah and one was not loving life yeah um but i was like
it's just one of those things, isn't it? Yeah.
So I had, so I.
It's always more painful for the parent than it is for anyone else.
Well, that's the thing.
And I said to the mum, I was like, chill out.
Not chill out.
Yeah.
Chill out.
Chill out.
But I was like, please don't worry.
I'm like, chill out.
I just found my love.
Yeah.
You think God's good. I wish I could. Yeah. if someone says that to me when i'm flying with the dolphins i will just absolutely cry laughing
it's fine don't worry yeah you know that kind of approving need like you need someone who says
that to you yeah i'm sure yeah but i do think is that i nearly
offered to hold the baby but i was like i don't think i'm there but i just was like don't worry
we're all yeah we know the deal when we're flying yeah exactly so yeah but um so i'm just thinking
about telling her to chill out um but yeah so anyway when that was all going on it was there
was another family where they were having drama with their seats yeah and i just was like right honing on that yeah and there was
turbulence oh everything and i was like just breathe yeah and i fell asleep so do you know
what it's a useful tool to have it's a very good not just for like zen vibes but also when you're
amongst chaos and finding it my way of flying was all and again
obviously i've got like a routine but like i had such a way that i would fly so i would always do
the same flight because i like the night flight from manchester and i would get a boots meal deal
in the airport love a boots meal deal for a flight um i would go normally i would go for the three
sandwiches so like the triple yeah the triple yeah so get the chicken and stuff in the chicken
salad and the what maybe a chicken blt or something like that um and then crisps a drink i'd get on
the plane i'd have a drink on the plane or in the airport i'd take two panadol
nights sleeping tablets oh do you eat my food and i am gone gone and i literally wake up as i'm
landing i think i've taken like antihistamine excuse me oh an antihistamine yeah
i know it's like the hard stuff and you're like an antihistamine i'll take the drowsy one yes
yeah i do i can
usually sleep but yeah that's normally my go-to but the airport because it's new year all the
bars closed at six o'clock my flight wasn't till eight oh my god that's so annoying yeah i just
find that so weird though like it's an airport like i was and that's lovely for you to think
that but i just think there's some jobs that you get into that you know that they're the deal yeah yeah yeah and surely the
airport's one of them i know well that's what i thought so i was like looking forward to having
some drinks at the airport yeah and i was just sitting on a chair oh god that's so annoying
manchester airport can be like that it can be freezing cold as well it was not not vibes but
it was all good i got here and you know i'm happy to be
back in the sunshine so did you do a countdown when you were on the plane did they do for the
new year i didn't know if like on the plane they do one no i don't think so i'm just thinking people
are asleep and they're just getting it all of a sudden 10 9 what's happening oh gosh yeah could
you imagine that's probably not the place
to do it i think because obviously there would have been a point maybe like i don't even know
where we fly i feel like greece is middle of the flight yeah i feel like it is actually because
about four hours from so i feel like around then is when we probably hit midnight yeah but no they
didn't i just thought they might do one yeah i thought the pilot
i'm just keep getting the giggles the pilot did say um happy new year um which was nice but that
was kind of yeah that's nice as far as it went yeah yeah i think yeah it was a non-event for me
which makes sense because i don't really acknowledge new year yeah and from a more
spiritual side
which we are we are actually going to talk about something spiritual not just you know
telling people to chill out um this obviously we spoke about we you know the thriving and surviving
of new year yeah now we're through it thank goodness I feel like there's a little bit of
relief when you hit new year like it's like all that pressure's gone christmas is gone i literally on the first of jan i mean this is the first of the first of
oh my god i don't even know how to say this the first new year that i've had for so long where
i haven't had hangover on new year's day and i literally at like 9 a.m was like ready to kind
of text like all my staff and be like so we're gonna do this this
year and then I thought no don't be that person don't be that person and I think I was that person
but by like maybe 10 that's okay and I think I just said to them I made it I wasn't like oh we're
gonna do this like as much but I was just a little bit motivational not too much because I thought
a lot of them are gonna have they probably hung over i had to rein it in but i was so ready to be like right i'm gonna do this i'm gonna do that and
yeah get super organized that's nice i think yeah obviously that's what's lovely about this sort of
new year this new year yeah is that you get that motivation yeah i guess the problem is
in society it doesn't usually last.
And that's for a reason because of this time of year.
So I wanted to talk about it a bit today and explain some bits to you and to the listeners.
And just like let's get a sense of what this time of year is.
So we are in Capricorn season.
So we're going to talk a bit about that because that's why you're
feeling quite motivated Capricorn is the doer they get things done so like the to-do list all of that
kind of resonates so the Capricorn star sign is that does that start like from January it starts
in December the 21st oh no way yeah oh is that when it's then the short no long shortest day yeah winter oh go on girl yes the winter solstice and then goes into capricorn season all right yeah yeah
so then that goes on until i think around the 20th or the 19th yeah the reason i know that is
yes so they could be capricorn so who knows or they could be aquarius yeah so the capricorn
sort of time helps with structure organization I wrote
some things down but I always just think of my Capricorn friends when I try and describe Capricorn
yeah so we're in sort of an organizing time in our heads but we don't really need to do much
right now okay so what I would say to everyone is we are actually in the deep of winter and if we
go to our animalistic ways we would be hibernating right now yeah like a little hedgehog yeah just
storing your food in your cheeks yeah like a hamster and just hiding away so you might be
doing your to-do list but it's hidden so this is like a time where you're a bit more like reclusive possibly a bit more hermit or
you feel you feel more natural to do that yes so then with new year coming along and all this
pressure it kind of contradicts like what we should be doing or how we should be feeling or
how we are feeling yeah so it's not necessarily connected to what the soul wants just you know
so me sleeping for most of the last two days is probably the best
thing to do yes yeah but it's hibernation i literally just was like i need to sleep yeah
and i didn't fight it and my body clearly really really needed it yeah and i didn't really feel
shame about it either yeah and that it was natural i bet when people do like dry january as well and
then they obviously stop going out for a certain amount of time.
Yeah, it's like carbonation.
So that is more what this time is for.
So for me, when I look at January, I don't see it as a new year.
The new year arrives in astrology when we start the Aries season,
which is the end of March, which is springtime.
Oh, I didn't know that.
Yeah, so when you look in the magazines at the zodiacs,
it always starts with
aries and that's not because it's an a it's because aries is the first of the zodiacs
yeah which makes sense yeah so so we pisces is the end of the year astrologically okay
so at the moment we're in the build-up to that and also aries falls at the time of spring
so we are ready to bloom so we're in the
winter we're hibernating we're recovering it's cold it's you know more wholesome yeah and then
we move into March April and it's fresher and you're ready to bloom the you know the animals
start to have their babies new beginnings yeah all those
things so that's the time and energy to sort of implement action right so now's the time to plant
your seeds plant them write your list start planning but just do it in a very calm and subtle
way yeah you don't need to take over the world right now yeah so if you're thinking of launching anything there's loads of transits that will be happening that can help you with
that so like we actually launched the podcast on a really important day that i'll share with everyone
after this um there will be lots of things going on to launch projects when you want but march
april is a good time yeah end of March beginning of April to sort of start new things
and see that new year that's funny because that's when I um opened the salon yeah but wouldn't
necessarily have known that no but this is the whole point that time yeah that things happen
and even with me like I'm not constantly looking at what's going on and like right this is happening
on this day sometimes
yeah yeah but actually I will look back and be like oh that's why that happened yeah oh I had
that conversation with that person it was actually really needed and there was an energy that helped
with that or setting up a business yeah booking holiday I went home last year for 10 days over the solar eclipse and it was just really intense for me.
Lots of healing, lots of healing of my home.
And it was like, oh, how random.
I booked that trip not knowing there was this really intense
Scorpio solar eclipse and I have a Scorpio moon.
So it's all my emotions.
But that was obviously meant to happen.
Right.
So this is where you have to let it.
Yeah.
You have to let go and let it be, not force it.
But obviously right now, because society has forced all this new year resolutions and all that.
Yes.
We're fighting something that actually isn't natural for us.
And do you know what?
If you're feeling it and you're feeling really action orientated, like that's amazing.
Like keep going. Yeah. But just don't stress if you're not it and you're feeling really action-orientated, like, that's amazing. Like, keep going.
Yeah, but just don't stress if you're not, basically.
Yeah, because I think that's the problem.
You feel ashamed when you're sleeping.
So true.
Or you're just like, I just, you know, not feeling great.
So what I would say to a lot of people right now with this Capricorn energy is it's routine,
which, babes, you love a bit of that.
So this is a good time for you.
You know, there's nothing wrong with going to the gym
and starting a new hobby. Capricorn helps you with that so it helps with structure routine
um you know I would start simple start your morning routine get things like that sorted
first and just sort of you know whether that's getting out for walks it could be I don't know
having decaf I don't know it doesn't yeah It could even be just be like making a gratitude list in the morning.
Whatever it is.
Just make it small.
Don't make it big.
Don't take over the world.
Just don't take over the world right now.
Yeah.
Honestly.
We can if you want to, but yeah.
Just chill.
Yeah.
Because we all feel this pressure.
Yeah.
That's nice.
It's silly.
Yeah.
So yeah.
So just take it small.
Take it easy.
That's what I'm doing.
So intuitively right now. So I'm listening to my body, you know, it is a busy time for me in January with work,
so my priority is my clients, and to be that priority, I've got to look after me,
so I'm just really, you know, focusing on meal prep, going for walks to get my time,
and I've sort of said that I just don't want to be on social media as for walks yeah that's my time yeah um and I've sort of said
like I just don't want to be on social media as much so like that's my little it's not a new year's
resolution it's just Capricorn can help me do you find that in January then if you're super busy
with obviously your clients do you have to really make sure that you're protecting your own energy
during that time yeah absolutely yeah yeah and also you're kind of giving everyone like very
similar messages to just be kind to themselves yeah because everyone comes to me like I'm failing in that time yeah absolutely yeah yeah and also you're kind of giving everyone like very similar

and I'm like you're not yeah and I'm sort of telling them what I'm telling you right yeah
so it's this it's trying to educate people yeah definitely fine and it's okay but we're sort of
in this you know crazy world that can be quite intense so I came to see you in January as well
you did you did yeah
yeah yeah that's interesting god so it's like a one-year anniversary of our friendship oh it is
love that yeah yeah i can't remember when in january i think it was around the 20th ish
okay so we were going into aquarius yeah yeah mid to end of january when um when i when we met yeah
yeah but yeah it was definitely january which is nice and
i think like these things all happen you know just before our saturn's return as well saturn
which we're going to talk about as well another episode yeah um went into pisces on march the
7th and we're both in our saturn's return yeah so yeah a couple of years for us so it's a lot
going on so yeah it's it's really interesting so we're gonna
like just over the episodes delve into bits of astrology i'm not gonna go like super deep
because i work more intuitively and i want it to be relatable and and that people can understand
so it's just kind of like surface and basics and we'll just explore it as we go. Yeah. But like right now we're in that Capricorn energy.
But also what we have just come out of.
So I know this is coming out on Friday.
So this is a few days before that we're talking about this.
But Mercury retrograde, we'll keep hearing about that.
Do you know much about Mercury retrograde?
No idea.
Okay, right.
So I just need to cough.

So Mercury retrograde is something that gets thrown about on social
media quite a lot so when it happens everyone's like oh mercury retrograde what is it oh my god
it's awful it's this really difficult time yeah and i just don't think that's the case oh okay
so mercury's a planet yeah i'm sure you know that and if you don't that's okay. Yeah. And Mercury is all about communication, okay? So it's the planet of communication.
And Mercury retrogrades usually about three times a year.
So what that means is it kind of, time feels like it slows down slightly.
I won't go into the science of the retrograde because that makes it confusing,
but there'll be a sort of two to three week window where it's in retrograde.
So it's quite a while.
Yeah, and because it's about communication, it brings things up
and it can make things a bit difficult.
Every planet retrogrades.
But Mercury is spoken about because it happens so often
because it's zooming around a lot more quicker than the rest.
So with Mercury retrograde, that started on on I think like God I can't remember that
maybe around the 16th or the 13th I can't remember and it went down yeah but
it doesn't really matter well we'll Google it and yeah and it went direct
yesterday so we had this period over Christmas and where Mercury was in
retrograde and it can affect communication we're around family so maybe
some communication issues with family you find this time of year can bring up a lot of stuff
yes good and bad so mercury retrograde was there like hey guys let's just make this even more
sticky um a lot of people sort of put mercury retrograde on like um electrical stuff so like the internet like uh transport so like
flying and having issues like that and i yeah so maybe so like mercury retrograde i locked myself
out on my instagram for like four days right and i said sam was like posting stories and i was like
sorry babes i can't repost it because i can't access my instagram i see so people would use
that as like so that was a very Mercury retrograde.
Like my taxi took me to the wrong villa.
I think I might have mentioned this.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's very Mercury retrograde.
But now it's direct.
Things will start to be a bit more clear-ruffled.
So communication will start to clear up.
And the time of when that happens,
that changes every year.
So it happens...
In terms of when it is.
Yeah, so it happens when it is yeah so it
happens um sort of three times a year so we'll have another one probably april time i'm not sure
okay yeah so it's like this yeah that is really interesting yeah it's interesting like you say
about it being at christmas because i think a lot of people especially that kind of time of year
there's a lot of pressure when it comes to friends and families in like social events yeah so if it's the communication side that people are struggling with
yeah and that is like for me i see it's communication more than technology yeah i feel
like we can't express how we feel as easily or we say in a way that's more lack of an outburst yeah
so like your emotions rise yeah oh i didn't actually mean to say it like that yeah like i find that with
mercury retrograde for me personally yeah everyone will have a different experience and maybe it
hasn't affected you that much this one definitely affected me but like others i wouldn't even really
notice them yeah i'm laughing now thinking of a situation in my head yeah where we were in the
oh god so bad i was really hungry right i'm obviously very pregnant
i was very hungry i'd been in the hospital waiting for like two hours and the communication
was really bad with like the billing team and um i've had it before where like i've said something
like oh okay like yeah i'll pay that but it's normally not that much and
they've gone oh okay made it cheaper and I've been a bit like what like yeah that shouldn't be the
case you know like it's really strange and then anyway on this particular occasion it was like
way more than what we'd normally pay and she's like yeah it's because you're having twins and
I was like hon I've always been having twins like there's been two in there for the last however
many months like it shouldn't have changed. Was the hospital yeah yeah and it was just frustrating me so much
and andy hates anything like that and it was so funny because he was just looking at me and he
was like please go and wait in the car but whereas i was like needing to get this communication like
as clear as possible and just getting so frustrated by it whereas he's like i'd
much rather just pay double whatever we have to pay and get out because he hates those kind of
situations it's like that resistance yeah that's what you feel with a merc like i'm like i physically
can feel the resistance like this person's not listening to me yeah there's steam coming out of
my ears like i was raging and he was just like please yeah yeah but this is exactly what it is
it's like all that so it's not you know you'll feel it like even when i'm i'm trying to give
instructions to someone they're like not getting it and i'm like please can you just yeah focus
yeah it's so clear what i'm saying and then i'm like oh i'm really patient usually why am i not
patient yeah and that was me as well in that situation yeah so I would say that's how it's sort of been for me and some emotions of sort of being there for that and
we also had on Christmas uh sort of Christmas night to Boxing Day the full moon in cancer
so cancer's all about family it's very community focused so like that's lovely so there was that
little bit of love there for us yeah that's nice but it's funny how these things fall
yeah at Christmas yeah when all that stuff's happening so yes we've had quite a lot going on
um but basically guys chill out yeah the lady on the plane with her baby
but just take it easy just be kind to yourself um this next week is not a week really i would say
to take over the world that's how I'm feeling right now
intuitively just get really organized if you plant your seeds get get that flower bed going
you know just just you know do what feels right for you um and listen to that but yeah it's quite
an interesting time right now what what we're sort of going through and there's some other
transits happening that we'll talk about um but hopefully that made sense to people that don't know much yeah i think it
will have it made sense to me yeah yeah i'm sure it will you know i think what i'd say to people
with with this side of astrology and spirituality and intuition there's it's how you feel so you
take what you feel from it so even that situation with the
hospital maybe maybe there is a lack of patience that you have sometimes it gets brought up and
mercury's gone hey babes definitely you're gonna you're gonna have twins soon so your patience is
going to be tested like you know sometimes it's taking the lesson for you like mine i'd say my
lessons was patient yeah i'm a really patient person like
people tell me often how patient i am yeah i'd say you're very patient thanks but my patience
was really tested and it like even to the point of like my mouse on my computer i was like oh my god
yeah i'm not very patient at all like i definitely need like more work on yeah so i really had to
force like some real grounding some real downtime yeah because it was triggered a like more work yeah so I really had to force like some real grounding

it brings up yeah definitely basically it's direct now so it we'll have to hang over it for a little
while that's why I take it easy this week yes but then we'll be you know recognize that when it's
happening and then and then yeah and then we move yeah just
like mechry starts moving forward yeah yeah so yeah so that's sort of what i wanted to talk about
um and then what else did i want i wrote some things down spoke about hibernation mode
yeah so i think really like this one is more just you know january is take it easy what are you
thinking in january obviously you've got like quite a lot of stuff going on you know January's take it easy what are you thinking in January obviously you've got like
quite a lot of stuff going on you know what yeah I mean yeah I don't really know but just taking it
day by day yeah literally day by day like I literally said to Andy the other day I was like
have you got anything planned for January and he was like nope and I was like right good what about
like because but that's quite good awareness yeah definitely i feel like some men would be like i'm going doing this and doing that oh no he knows yeah he knows oh he knows he knows um like we'll
put car seats in the car and just get everything organized i've just had my friends visiting
with me and one of my best friends from home and his husband and it was just the most loveliest
time like so nice and chilled but I've kind of been like okay so
we've got Christmas then we've got this then I've got them coming over and then all of a sudden now
I don't have anything until the babies come and obviously I don't really know like so quite a lot
of people have asked me like when's your due date and I remember saying this to you I find it quite
a triggering question yeah so I apologize if you're listening to this and you've asked me this and I haven't actually answered you because this is why
um I don't know when my due date is because I am having twins and it is much more high risk
and there are other factors that making it a little bit more high risk and we just don't know
when they're going to come so I have in my head when I want them to come yeah but I'm also now
surrendering to the fact that they're going to come when they're ready to come and when they're healthy.
And whenever that time is, it is.
Absolutely.
Yeah.
So I feel like with January now, I'm just taking it easy and just hoping that they stay in for as long as possible.

yeah and I think it's that you know obviously
I don't know what it's like to carry a baby but I think having that in that because the intuition
between you and babies must be so strong they'll be like cool all right mum I'll do my best yeah
I hope so like I do do that now like morning and night I'll have like a little conversation with
them of like you know just stay in until you feel strong enough to be out basically yeah absolutely um and yeah
i've kind of just like i say i've just accepted that i think that's really powerful yeah like i
do don't get me wrong i do still have a date when i would love for them to come but and that's just
because that's just who i am yeah like it's in my calendar yeah like but the day that they're
gonna come but that's nice that you do that like i think that suits you like it does like the feeling of that day and whatever yeah
exactly that's nice yeah exactly but i'm also just being open to whatever happens happens and
accepting more help from other people around me which is nice and yeah just gonna have to just lean into it really like yeah get ready pack my
bag do all those fun things through january yeah um and just relax it's quite nice i've not got
that much on like physically i think that's it yeah i think genuinely this time of year it's
not too busy so no exactly i've kind of had the chaos and yeah you can just sort of go into that
that preparation zone and yeah yeah you'll smash it babes i hope so well the next episode we're
going to delve into all the motherhood stuff for you aren't we so that'll be yes yeah yeah that'll
be fun yeah yeah it will we're sort of like the preparation yes obviously you know within no time
the twins will be here yeah and
then there'll be an episode on the other side yes so it's nice because everyone's on the journey

yeah how naive i was isn't that the point yeah of course the point yeah so um but yeah which
will be really exciting and yeah so everyone's going to be on

okay so it says positive news and positive outcome so that's nice yeah that's a really
nice message so I think really that that probably resonates with this energy of
just moving forward.
I'm feeling quite positive, actually.

There's a nice positive energy in the air.
I think there's a cleanliness.

Do you feel that with January?
Yeah, I understand.
So what I would say to everyone is this is a time to sort of hold that positive energy,
even if it is like a 0.01% of positivity.
That is enough to then let that ignite and go bigger, okay?
So I urge you to sort of tap into that and that feeling of hope, I guess, when sometimes we do feel out of sorts.
Like I felt out of sorts this morning.
I think if I recorded this morning, I probably would have cried.
Yeah.
Just because I was overwhelmed with a few things going on.
Yeah. And then I put some music on shifted the energy and then i was like i'm
buzzing i'm ready to go yeah like your day can move and evolve constantly yeah and just finding
that little bit of positivity like can help with that and i would say move your body because
whenever you're feeling a bit rubbish yes just move yeah and you don't have to go for like a 10 mile walk
like I usually put my house music playlist on yeah exactly and just move around yeah do something
usually like just doing something physical releases the energy even if it's like cleaning
yeah I'm washing up yeah you know so even though it might feel difficult like that's because I am
someone I like to I like to sort of be. And, and you know,
when I'm sad,
I actually sometimes enjoy it,
which is a bit odd.
Yeah.
But I enjoy it.
It's probably not sit with it.
Yeah.
But I,
I get a lot from it.
Yeah.
So sometimes I can stay there a bit too long.
Yeah.
Movement is medicine.
They say,
don't they?
You're right babes.
Yeah.
So what I would say is there's a real positive shift coming in.
There's a really lovely energy I'm feeling in the air collectively. I like that and that's good so you know this is a time to
sort of channel that and use it for your own powers and just yeah we've all got this we're
all working it out definitely yeah and I think I actually said in one of my reels I was like I
think the whole point is to get it wrong I agree honestly because that's how you learn and that's
how you grow totally yeah all
this perfectionism and i'm definitely triggered by at the moment like you'll probably hear it in
my voice with how i've spoke about social media and stuff but like i'm really trying to unravel
why where that comes from yeah yeah it's just it's odd so i've got to explore it so yeah be
kind to yourselves over this time and you know what
we've got this Capricorn season here we go let's just get the to-do list let's try and routine
some naps into our schedule and the beginning of the year yeah exciting time absolutely I think so
