Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello and welcome to Spiritually Speaking with me Sam and with me Jess. Welcome back. Hi, welcome back. I've missed this. You know what, it's only been a week since we've not recorded but it feels like it's been like four. It does feel like a long time. Has it only been a week or was it two weeks? Oh, no, it was only a week but the last one that we recorded, we recorded not long after the one before that so we actually haven't spoken like on this for a while we haven't spoken much because i've basically been offline so literally no mad life yeah we're back reunited don't worry girl yeah i think i will be in areas with signal now yes so tell me about what you've been
Starting point is 00:00:48 doing because I feel like your life has been more interesting than mine recently well it's been it's been an adventure to say the least um so I am currently in Malaysia so a new country for me which is great um and I'm recording this from Kuala Lumpur so I'm embracing city life have you been to see those big two buildings the twin towers I actually can see them from the swimming pool like terrace oh wow it's a real vibe but I probably will pop there on the weekend I think I need to book tickets in advance to go and have you been to Kuala Lumpur no no never yeah um it's really cool like it kind of kind of reminds me of Dubai I've been to Singapore before it's sort of it's just a similar vibe yeah I would imagine it being similar to Singapore yeah and I went to um because
Starting point is 00:01:40 I was in Kuala Lumpur the other week when i got into malaysia and i was in chinatown that was really cool yeah i loved it and i'm gonna go back there i think on the weekend they had like loads of fake new balance trainers and they were really good and i was like i got some fake apple headphones honestly i'm such a fraud no you can get fake apple headphones yeah yeah no way yeah they're good they're like a real vibe um does that mean it's the ones i gave you no so i got airpods your ones only one was working i think in the end they were on the way out and then i got myself a pair in dubai like airpods but i do like big headphones sometimes like when i'm on the plane and stuff so then I thought yeah Chinatown sorted me out I'm gonna pop back there and get some new balance trainers
Starting point is 00:02:30 um so yeah that's that's the vibe not balance trainers I know yeah yeah old balance um so yeah so that's the vibe right now and I'm just kind of setting up shop for a bit because I've got loads of ideas. I'm inundated with inquiries at the moment, which is fabulous. I feel like most of them, by the way, are my friends. Amazing. Because I literally keep saying to so many people, I'm like, you need to book a reading with Jess.
Starting point is 00:02:59 She's on holiday at the moment, so she's going to be really busy when she gets back. You need to get a reading with her. Thank you, babe. So I do have lots of messages while i was away which is great thank you everyone and what i'm going to be doing going forward is only doing a day a week of readings now so there's going to be a little bit more of a waiting list because i'm getting really booked out with spiritual development clients and coaching clients so just so you know everyone if you want to book
Starting point is 00:03:24 in for a reading there is going to be a bit more of a waiting list and it's only going to be on Wednesdays so like there's less flexibility so just be mindful of that anyway what have I been up to so I headed to the jungle I was wow living my best life I say my best life was I say my best life. Was I living my best life? It was really fucking tough. Yeah, exactly. Like, yeah, I'm sure you had a great time. I'm sure it was an amazing adventure,
Starting point is 00:03:53 memories that you will keep forever. But like the sheer toll on going through, I don't know, going, staying somewhere like that with like the bugs and like. Yeah. I don't know how it would have felt. I thought the monastery was hard this was a whole other level you literally slept on the floor in a cave I know and do you know what like it was crazy and I I don't know how I did it but it was unbelievable
Starting point is 00:04:22 and it was do you know what I think because you're in this part of the world like not to sound like a bit of a goon but like health and safety really isn't a thing and you know it's not like even really in Dubai it's not yeah like there were just moments where I was like this feels so dangerous like I'm sorry I feel like you're going to listen. And when I sent my mum some video, she's I'm so pleased. I found out after not before. Yeah, you're doing it. But it was just like really raw and like authentic vibes for a couple of weeks. And I loved that.
Starting point is 00:04:58 So I went to a place called Taman Nagara. So if anyone is wanting to have the jungle experience I'd absolutely recommend it flying to Malaysia like Kuala Lumpur and then it's like a sort of four or five hour bus from there and it's it's pretty simple pretty easy got on the bus not gonna lie even that in itself I'm like oh my god absolutely not I remember I went on a bus I think I'm sure I did the bus for 16 hours when I was in Australia I literally went from top to bottom yeah of like um Cairns to Sydney by bus yeah like now when you've just said that I'm like oh my god that long on a bus well it we had we had breaks like so I have actually had cars sometimes when like I've booked my bus ticket too late and it's not
Starting point is 00:05:43 availability and I've got a taxi but I thought no I can do this and do you know what like I definitely urge people to do it it wasn't that difficult five hours is nothing especially when you've got data on your phone you can just sit on TikTok whatever um and like you had some good stops so then you could go and have lunch like you know it was it was all right and also I've got time so like I was enjoying the scenic route it was very beautiful yeah you know it's all the positive vibes because I think you just gotta go for it so got there it literally was like no accommodation had been updated I think in like 20 years since it was built literally it was like okay got to the first place which was the best place in the area and I could only get one night there cockroaching the
Starting point is 00:06:33 toilet I was like and it was a nice place and I was like are you fucking kidding me but guys I got got a cup got some paper and got rid of it and put him back in the garden and said please don't return and he didn't um so that was that was all right the the last night I literally felt like I was staying in like a prison cell um and if because it was the only place that was available and the fact that it was the only place I had to stay but I wouldn't have I would have left if I could you know oh yeah was it scary it was just vile I'd rather be back in the cave oh no however I was so knackered I slept and it was all right but like the shower was above the toilet I just don't love that
Starting point is 00:07:25 I'd like to just shower without oh it's just wait what how's how's that even possible it's just a it's basically like a toilet like a small toilet sink with a shower above it's just weird oh my god that's so weird but like I have been pretty like lucky in the fact that I'm earning money so like I've been staying in nice places but this was yeah not nice however I was staying in a magical part of the world and it's just the deal you pay when you're going to yeah places so anyway the jungle it was a jungle literally and there were black panthers wild tigers obviously wild tigers but like not sort of tigers that taurish stroke and elephants it was did you see them no thank god because apparently that we would be dead so yeah um so the guide was like really serious and I was like chill out mate it's all good
Starting point is 00:08:25 but then I realized how dangerous it was so he's actually keeping you alive yeah and we had to stay like one meter like between each other like space because if there was a bigger gap like that was more of a chance if a black panther was in in the waiting they would get us so that was stressing me out because I'm walking for like 20 kilometers which took about five hours constantly like I need to be a meter between people and babes I couldn't always keep a meter I was slow it was stressful how many steps were you doing a day oh so many I don't know but this they're like the terrain of the ground like obviously because it's a jungle it's like rainforest it's like trees like the roots are everywhere like it's muddy
Starting point is 00:09:13 like there's like some of these trees are like hundreds of years old and they're massive and then they fall down and then it's like you have to climb over the trunk to get on oh it was just like bonkers like it was so an incredible experience it was amazing like it was amazing and like you saw more just like nature like there wasn't actually loads of wildlife you heard it but you didn't see it but it was very green very earthy, mentally challenging. Like the fear, like I had really intrusive thoughts about the animals because basically he was saying to me, like, if you hear the elephant and it makes this noise, he's saying,
Starting point is 00:09:58 I know you're there, but it's okay. If he makes this noise, he's saying, I'm giving you a warning, you need to leave. And I was like, okay, and what happens if he says that? He's like I'm giving you a warning you need to leave and I was like okay and what what happens if he says that he's like you're gonna have to run and I was thinking I haven't got anything in me to run like I'm at record I can just there was an elephant well he did say that he was like the adrenaline hit you and I was like I'm sure it would but like the the obstacles throughout like like I say with like the whole health and safety like I
Starting point is 00:10:26 know this sounds ridiculous but like there wasn't really clear paths like you didn't you were just sort of like working your way through just green trees oh wow no high-vis jackets then no so it was very yeah it was it was um it was intense like that was happening a lot I also really have a fear of like getting hurt so like I get quite scared of like twisting my ankle or I know that sounds silly but no I'm exactly the same yeah so like and in those sort of situations where I know I'm deep in the jungle I'm like if I dislocate my knee right now how would I get out like that's the stuff that comes up if anyone's listening and relates like I honestly I'm exactly the same yeah and I think like I just had to kind of I had to kind
Starting point is 00:11:17 of go into some mantra a lot and be like I am safe I am safe I had to say that loads in my head because it did get a bit much so did I take in the scenery no did I just focus on surviving yes do I sound dramatic yes however I'm not made for the jungle like yeah and also I don't actually think you do sound dramatic because I feel like most of our listeners would be exactly the same as us and be like wow i can't believe you even did that yeah like i i don't know if i'm an outdoor girl like i love the sea i love the fresh air but like obviously i climbed kilimanjaro like a while ago a few years quite a few years ago like i can do it do i love it i don't know i think we're exactly the same like that like I could do with I think because you're mentally strong you can do it yeah but it doesn't mean you have to enjoy it like that
Starting point is 00:12:11 you would enjoy it yeah and the guy did say to me he was like because I was slow like I was sort of more like the slower half of the group um but he came up to me at the end and he was I just want to say you have a really strong soul like not once did you ever say you were going to give up or not once did you ever say you were gonna you wanted to go back and it's true I did and apparently the other group the girls were like I just want to like go back and yeah that would be me yeah I'd give up quite easily yeah but yeah I just didn't even consider it and that was the same when I climbed Kilimanjaro I was I'm gonna get to the summit I don't care how I get there I'm gonna do it so anyway got to the cave and I was like thank god but then I was like
Starting point is 00:12:57 this is scary but it was also beautiful it was massive so it's very high, this cave. It wasn't small, very open. And like you had to kind of climb up some rocks to get into it. I really felt like I went into a past life. I just felt like I'd been there before. And it felt really natural to like live that way. Wow. Yeah. I had to poo outside, obviously a toilet that felt great like just
Starting point is 00:13:30 oh my god yeah I can't even imagine that yeah in a bucket or no just literally like had to go into like like just somewhere oh no so I had to do that again with Kilimanjaro like and I got quite used to it but you know it was sort of it was a little bit unfamiliar like a second sorry I'm just imagining you coming around to my house when when you finally come around when you come back to Dubai you just be like I'm just nipping outside I'm like you are not there's two bathrooms downstairs when honestly when I when I did Kili I got back to my hotel and I needed to go to the toilet and I remember hesitating to sit down on the toilet like it felt really odd and like when you think about it toilets are a human-made thing, you know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:26 We weren't meant to – we are meant to obviously have some posture to help us sit, to help with our bows, but, like, we weren't meant to shit in nature, weren't we? Right. Let's be honest. So I did it, guys. Like, obviously, don't do it, you know, where you're going to get caught, but if you want to do it i'd highly recommend it honestly sam it was liberating honestly think nah i think my um
Starting point is 00:14:52 my body would be like nope mine did for a bit but also the food we were eating sometimes you didn't really have a choice so it was kind of like I know so anyway that that's that's that I then had to have a what I wanted to wash but everyone did obviously and we had a little lake outside the cave like a little not lake stream that's the right word so they gave us the bowls for our food to get the water and I put this on my real one instagram to have a wash and that honestly again was incredible um it felt very natural it felt very right the water was very cold really refreshing and it felt incredible to just like wash yourself with natural water like i don't know it's just mad i think that sounds yeah i can imagine why that would be you
Starting point is 00:15:45 know particularly like liberating or like enjoyable but I still think you know I quite like a nice hot bath I love a hot bath um and I didn't necessarily feel clean after but I was like thank goodness that was there like that helped yeah and also like it was 35 degrees in the jungle it was the humidity was ridiculous so like all the sweat coming out of my body I needed to get in that string so that was that then back up to back up to the cave for dinner um and you know it was I was knackered I just wanted to sleep I needed to eat like fuel and then after dinner they were like okay we're gonna have to go and wash up but I was laying down and the guide was like we'll leave you here but like everyone's gonna go and wash up and I was
Starting point is 00:16:37 like fuck that no don't leave me absolutely not yeah so I actually cried because I was like don't leave me so I did have a wobble um well basically I was having a wobble followed them but I was slipping because I was tired and they were like just stay here and then there was a girl in my group who stayed with me and she was so sweet and she was she was made for the jungle right she took her shoes off to walk barefoot she was only young she was 20 she was in her own little world and I got left with her and I'll be honest I didn't feel that safe I was like out of everyone I'm not sure I'm with the right person anyway I had my torch she had a head torch and everyone had gone to wash up and then she was like do you mind if we just turn our torches off and stand in darkness and just listen to the noise
Starting point is 00:17:36 honestly I've just had a meltdown and the people pleaser in me is like okay so literally we said I just said absolutely fucking not you keep your torch on she didn't read the room she didn't have him yeah she was on her own mission i'd have also been scared that like she'd have then pushed me over or something and also i wouldn't have been able to have stopped laughing in situations like that i just can't stop laughing so like if it was pitch black i'd have been like laughing like I wouldn't have been able to I just I just felt so awkward and uncomfortable and scared and I was just thinking oh my god like what is happening right now like it was just such a bizarre moment
Starting point is 00:18:17 did you turn and laugh yeah we stood there in in pitch black and all i could hear was like from all the animals and i'm thinking oh just hurry up with the washing up because they went down to the string and i bet like bats and stuff would have come out because yeah imagine if they just whacked her on the head by accident honestly honestly i think they can see yeah okay so they probably wouldn't have gone into it yeah well i think the black panther can see me and he's like this is my time here's dinner here she is it's the slow one i've been watching her all day you get them no balance trainers off of me this one's a bit meaty we'll go for her oh babe so anyway everyone came back and I was like okay now torches were back on got into bed and I did not get to sleep for a while and there was a lot
Starting point is 00:19:17 of snoring and farting happening in the cave um not by me um by um and finally I fell asleep and like you know you know when you like watched I'm a Celeb and like you would see like a rat run across their tummy and then they would wake up and be like oh like yeah I definitely had something crawl over me oh and it must have been quite big because I felt it um so I freaked out and I like made a noise and it like echoed around the cave like it's like I bet everyone you were with was like ish yeah yeah um I then woke up and was adamant I could hear children singing like adamant like and I think and the guide said to me he went to me are you on your well his words were like are you clean meaning like are you on your period or not and he and he was like because women that were on their periods they go crazy in the jungle like it's like they hit hysteria but obviously for him he is like a
Starting point is 00:20:26 jungle village tribal man so like wow his outlook on stuff yeah very like very caveman in a way like you know um and he was like because the the spirits of the jungle come alive at night. And he was really talking about that stuff. Yeah, like it was really. And he was like, you know, the jungle, if you don't look after the jungle, the jungle won't look after you. You have to look after the jungle. Really like full on.
Starting point is 00:20:59 And I was like, mate, I heard a bunch of kids singing all night. And I really heard it. Like it really felt clear to me. But, you know, I'm not going to lie, the energy in that cave, humans definitely live there at some point. Like I felt that it felt like a home to someone at some point, you know, whether that was 20 years ago, years ago 500 years ago I don't know but there was a presence in the cave which was really really amazing um and I felt I just
Starting point is 00:21:34 yeah it felt it felt quite like regal and majestic like as if like yeah I don't know, it was incredible. The hike was worth it for that. And then we left early in the morning, kind of, not too early. And when you wake up, you're obviously waking up to the noise of the jungle and the natural light comes through. That's nice. It's what we were made to yeah yeah like all this stuff we've made now now is is so you know I'm looking at all these skyscrapers out my window like we were meant to fall asleep in the cave and wake up to the natural light and the
Starting point is 00:22:19 birds singing and panthers panting and whatever they do you know yeah um so yeah that that was really cool and then yeah the the hike after that was tough mentally as well um and I'm not massively fit like I'll be honest like I've definitely been fitter so like that was hard for me um and then yeah we got back and honestly I've never been so relieved in my life I bet and I so self-reliant oh well it wasn't that was then when I went back to the room that looked like a prison cell oh no and I just thought are you joking me um so yeah that was but then it was all right do you know what the? The shower wasn't hot. It was cold. So I didn't really get that kind of.
Starting point is 00:23:11 That ah when you. I didn't. No. It took a couple of days. So, yeah, it was magical. And I'd recommend anyone that feels drawn to this story to, like, look into it. And please send me any questions up on Instagram if you want to know more logistically so yeah so that was that and
Starting point is 00:23:32 then basically after that got on a bus and went to this magical place called the Perinthian Islands which is basically like the Maldives in Malaysia again going back in time I'm going to post on my stories all about this everyone will see this place um the accommodation was old so like if you're wanting to go for luxury like I think there's a Marriott there but I don't know what the rest of the hotels are like yeah we were saying it was like it was it was like a family-run place literally your door opened onto the beach oh like it was beautiful like honestly it was probably one of the most beautiful it looks stunning from your pictures oh honestly I've got so much I want to share on Instagram with it it was just magical and the energy there was beautiful like I could have just stayed there and never left
Starting point is 00:24:28 oh it was it was lovely Sam and it was just the sea the fish I saw baby sharks I saw massive turtles like fish that I've never seen before like it was incredible um getting there on the boat was like getting whiplash honestly it was the boat was like slanted like up the whole time and they didn't give us life jackets again like I feel like I'm just such a princess like I'm not used to no you're not a princess it's normal to want a life jacket when you're on a boat but like flying all over the place honestly like it was mental um so that was a bit crazy and I was relieved to get to the island and it was a tiny island like it was it was just within within a few minutes you'd walked like as far as you could you know what I mean so if you were going there like
Starting point is 00:25:25 people are like oh that I'm really drawn to that there's loads of like places around the area so like look at Perinthian Islands and then there's a place called Rendang or something like that um and you can kind of get boats between the islands so we'd like go for lunch in one place like it was really cool like it was it's lovely um and there was like young families there as well I just think if like you've got kids and like the boat is a bit full on safe yeah like maybe wait till they're they can swim do you know I mean just in case obviously they'd get a life jacket just ask for one so yeah so that that was a really nice treat to have after. And I absolutely loved it.
Starting point is 00:26:08 And do you know what? I've really loved Malaysia. I feel like it's an incredible place. So much, like, diversity here. So many different cultures all come together. And, like, I've lived, I feel, like, so many lives. I've lived in the jungle, in the cave, and then I've gone to this most beautiful island.
Starting point is 00:26:32 Now I'm in the city and I feel like all of it was so accessible and you can have so much like variety. So I'd really recommend it. Like I really would. And yeah, like it's been really fun. I also did this canopy walk. was like you know the I'm a celeb bridge that they do oh yeah it was like that but not safe I've got stories of it as well so don't worry put it on the gram oh my god I'm freaking out like I'm so scared of heights I did it yeah that would have freaked me out I really pushed myself through a lot of fears so yeah so that's my travel so it's been a really full-on time had like no signal quite a lot so I
Starting point is 00:27:10 really switched off from work and readings and stuff um which was really good for me um yeah so yeah it has been mental it sounds like you've had a great time yeah it's been amazing it's really really cool um so yeah do you have any like plans as to leave where you are now as to where you're gonna go next so I'm gonna set up shop here for like about 10 days and then I'm gonna head back to Thailand um and so I've got some work in Sri Lanka in November that I'm doing for a retreat. And I'm in Dubai for a bit as well after that. I'm not working in Dubai that time. So I'm there on holiday to see friends and family. Family.
Starting point is 00:27:54 You're my family, Sam. Me. But I just, I think now I'm just sort of going to enjoy a bit of normality I think for me Thailand's probably where I'm gonna live in the new year maybe Vietnam and I know so I think really it's now about finding where would where would be yeah and maybe look at some places and sort of think, yeah, I could, you know, Chiang Mai, I love that. Definitely Da Nang and Vietnam. You know, I like the nomad spaces. I like where there's a community. I like that. Yeah. So that's kind of probably the next focus more than adventures. But who knows? Exciting. Exciting. But I'll always pop back to Dubai.
Starting point is 00:28:41 I don't worry. So, yeah. But but what's been going on 2.0 has been moving yes I mean yeah just like I feel like I say the same thing every time like it's a lot yeah um even just sitting here I can only apologize because I have not stopped yawning in a time I have been sat here and you know why because i don't sit still yeah so to just actually sit still and my body's like oh this is it yeah um so yeah it's um it's progressing it's progressing quickly especially by the time this comes out it'll be very progressed yes um so which is only in like two days but yeah a lot is happening each day now like you can actually see the progression which is really nice yeah so things like doors went in yesterday today like the floor has gone down so like oh wow the paint has started going up so yeah um so there
Starting point is 00:29:37 has been a lot of progression um which is really good um it has been can you i'm so sorry if you can hear no i can't hear anything don't worry no um they're about to go down for an absolute because a lot of noise um sorry so um yeah there's just in terms of the second salon like like i say it's all progressing it's all going in the right way it's just kind of one of them where like each day the to-do list feels like it gets longer and it doesn't get you don't check stuff off that's kind of how it feels at the moment and each day I feel like I've got so much to do but trying to actually get through it is quite challenging um but yeah it's all right like we're getting there um new staff starting so constantly doing interviews things like that wow um and yeah it's good it's busy but it's it's good it's good oh good
Starting point is 00:30:34 yeah and just trying to kind of keep the calm in the chaos yes yeah it's hard because yeah like while the salon's still running and open i'm trying to keep it as as good of an experience still for the clients but it is obviously visually very different to what it was before so it's not very like clean and tidy right now it's a bit mishmash and you know i mean but i also think everyone knows that it's about to change and it's expanding and experience is going to be so much not that it was already good but even better like yes yeah it's not like this is what the salon is it's just a short term yeah so but I get that I get that so yeah yeah but no that's that and then um just being busy obviously with the girls they now sleep 12 hours at night which is hours yeah wow 12 and a
Starting point is 00:31:28 half actually go down at half six wake up at seven um incredible and i'm really good and both of them yeah yeah we have had the odd night where like last two nights where river woke up at like four so i had to just go back in a couple of times to like settle in but other than that touch wood it's been great um so that's made a huge difference because it just means i can go earlier yeah yeah i know what good timing it means i can go to bed earlier and then now the last like three days i've set my alarm for six yeah and had an hour to myself before they wake up nice and like this morning i did a pilates workout and like another day i bought walking pads let's do my steps yeah so just things like that which that's
Starting point is 00:32:11 make making a big difference um but yeah i feel like my life is extremely chaotic right now to say the least um but i'm just kind of getting through it I'm just working hard and getting through it and just hoping to see the light at the end of it all very soon you will it's coming and you know I think you know with all these things they always pay off um yeah and I think when it does feel chaotic even when when it's an organized chaos, it's just overwhelming. And it's just overstimulating and you just sort of have to ride it through. And, you know, you're doing that. And I think, you know, once when the doors are open to 2.0, you know, it will kind of feel like, you know, you'll feel so much like you've achieved so much. And then there'll be another phase of work where it's sort of getting that up and going but yeah a different feeling you know
Starting point is 00:33:10 it yeah in no time it will it will feel normal you know yeah yeah exactly yeah so no hopefully not too much longer um and then I actually went back to work as well, like doing hair on Thursday last week, which was good. I loved it. Yeah, I really enjoyed it. It was really enjoyable. Had a great time, felt the buzz of being back and doing hair again. I'm doing just Thursdays last week and this week and then the following week I'm doing a Monday and a Thursday. But I haven't actually booked myself in any clients from October because I just wanted to see how I felt first in September see how it goes before I take any more you know before I run basically because I feel like in the past I would
Starting point is 00:33:58 have very much been like right my diary's open let's go everyone gonna booked in and then I'd have regretted it yeah I've been like crap now i can't let these people down whereas i've not done that this time so i've definitely learned from that which is that's really good really really good babes love that yeah i've definitely learned from that um and if i'm honest i don't know right now where i even stand with going back doing hair oh that's all right if I'm completely honest like I think for right now yes I enjoy it but but actually what reason am I doing it I don't know and I think that's something that that we're all kind of having getting put on us right now uh yeah it's definitely that energy like it's the same with me with some of the elements of my work am I just doing it
Starting point is 00:34:45 because I've always done it but what do I love what what what is more my thing um yeah and I think that's something that you should definitely look at yeah you know and it's okay whatever you decide yeah I think you know what it is like it's the same for us obviously for both of us but it's the same for a lot of people who are probably listening to this but I think it's so difficult when it's all you've ever known um for me as well like doing hair is what's got me to where I am yeah like I wouldn't be where I am without having done the hair um so it's very difficult to imagine them not doing the hair which sounds silly because I've obviously not done it now for a while but I feel like I've had a reason to not be doing it because I was on
Starting point is 00:35:29 maternity leave and then um can you hear that is that Ernie no it's a sink like making noises sorry this house is making noises today yeah no Ernie's actually fast asleep living um sorry yeah i i think it just feels very strange the idea of giving up doing hair basically i feel my thing is if i'm going to be completely honest and very vulnerable and transparent here i feel like i'd be letting a lot of my clients down and that's why i wouldn't want to give it up but i already feel like i'm letting them down because i can't do the amount of clients as what I was doing before anyway yeah and I think that that that feeling of letting people down is not the reason to carry on doing it you know it's not like I think you have to
Starting point is 00:36:18 realize that and also your clients trust you and a lot of them have now gone to some of the other girls but you've built them a space and environment that is led by you so like the way you talk your girls the way that like the experiences is what what they had with you and they're just having it in a different way now and yeah people you know people are okay with change people get over it yeah yeah exactly and it's sorry it's funny because so many people have said to me like oh I thought you were going back full time and I was like in what world do you think I could go back full time and run a business successfully and have two kids and all the other stuff that goes with it but like in what world
Starting point is 00:37:04 could that even be possible like not well anyway I couldn't do it well but I think for a lot of people they don't necessarily appreciate what goes on behind the scenes yeah that's very true I think running a business like it just happened like if you look at someone running a business you only see when it goes wrong you don't see what goes on when it's all going well yeah yeah you don't realize the effort the time and all those things so yeah I get it but I also think it's just yeah people don't understand like I don't think I really understood those things until having my own business like the time and effort that goes into the stuff that doesn't get acknowledged or recognized or earns you money you know it's
Starting point is 00:37:45 yeah yeah exactly so yeah but I think I think that's really good and I think the fact that you're thinking that um just to touch on for just five minutes at the end um about the eclipse that's coming up we've got two eclipses happening this This really resonates with what you're chatting about. That, you know, we're coming up to a lunar eclipse in Pisces, which will be on your moon, Sam. So you're a Pisces moon, so you'll be really feared in this. If you are a Pisces sun, moon, or rising, or have any strong planets in Pisces, then you will feel this as well um and this is for me like a time to really reset and the portal is opening when it when it's an eclipse and I feel like this eclipse it's it's it's new it's now Pisces and Libra together before it was Scorpio energy like it's changing and this is a time to like rewrite the story and to let go of things that no longer serve you um and to make room for the new and you might not
Starting point is 00:38:56 know what the new is yet so I would say with this eclipse coming up it's more about letting go of big big attachments so that you can make room for this next phase of life um sorry that I couldn't touch more on it um but I will be sharing bits on Instagram and Patreon for that and I've got a workshop on Sunday happening so the podcast comes out on Friday if you want to join the workshop just have a look on my instagram um but this is big big energy it's i am 100 wanting to join that on sunday i'm now going to put it in my calendar yes so it'll be nine it's pardon sorry time on sunday so 9 a.m uk 12 p.m dubai um and it will be 90 minutes and it's like 20 pound person if you're on patreon you get the discount and if you are on patreon you can also join the subscription for it monthly um but this workshop will be connected to the the solar eclipse in libra so like it's a two-part workshops i'd definitely recommend coming along to
Starting point is 00:40:06 it um and look i obviously did yeah i obviously did one of your workshops um recently and you get so much value from them oh so much value from them no you really really do um it's they're fantastic i would really really recommend it you know, when you are joining on to one of these workshops as well, like you can literally join on it wherever you are. You can listen back to it, obviously, as well. But if you are in it, it's much better because then you're getting like the answers.
Starting point is 00:40:36 You can ask questions, you know, as you go. But you don't have to have your camera on, for example, your microphone on. It's just, you're just listening to Jess watching Jess and then you can type in your questions like so you don't have to necessarily be engaging interact yes exactly yeah if you don't want to yeah um yeah for someone who did one for the first time recently I absolutely loved it yeah thank you and I'm gonna like push more of these sort of workshops and that'll be on the moon, but also spiritual development.
Starting point is 00:41:06 I put a thing up on my stories after the awakening podcast because I had a lot of messages, people saying how much they resonated. So I'm going to start building a community on Patreon as well for spiritual development, which will be really exciting. So there's some really cool things coming. So just keep an eye out. And yeah, let's all get spiritual together let's not do it on our own definitely oh well thank you so much everybody for listening and we hope that you love the episode um and we will be back next week chatting all about virgo season because we realize that we haven't done that yet. So don't worry, where it goes, we have got you.
Starting point is 00:41:45 Yes. And please do all the amazing things like rate, subscribe, tell a friend. And if you want to get us on Instagram, we are at spirituallyspeaking underscore podcast. I am at hair by Samantha Green. And she is at jessicamarie underscore holistic. Amazing. Love that, my girl. Thank you, you everyone so much
Starting point is 00:42:05 and yeah we've got this lots of love bye
