What happens when three buffoons give life advice, explore on realistic situations, and give random topics more thought than they probably deserve?
It's the spitballers podcast with Andy, Mike, and Jason.
Be da boop, tap, tooth da-da-la-bang!
Wait, he just hit the applause.
Dude, I thought I phoned it in, but I thought I phoned it in and the people loved it.
Okay.
That's ridiculous.
Mike is ashamed of you.
It wasn't that good.
I just tried to just, you know, go standard.
That was a good three out of ten injury.
Mike does not like the people.
He did not appreciate the people's joy.
I didn't say anything.
Welcome to the show.
Would you rather, Ballardash, and a new draft today.
Things that make light.
Should be fun.
Like making light of something?
No.
No, no, no.
I got to change my list real quick.
Illumination.
Shoot.
Dave Chappelle is off my list.
No, this will be fun.
And I guess we have a little twist on the baller dash today, so I'm looking forward to that.
But without further ado, let's get started with some would you rather.
Would you rather?
Would you have to, would you rather have to narrate an audio book of a thousand page novel or handwriter 200 page book?
Oh, that's so easy.
Double space?
Thousand page novel, which, look, I read a book.
those 875 pages recently.
It was so long.
It was a lot.
Did you read it out loud to yourself?
Somebody read it out loud to me.
The audiobook person.
How long was it?
There's a thousand pages.
How many hours?
Andy, we don't use pages as a reference
for time. Certainly not for audio.
When you're like, hey, dude, I got to drive out to
Buckeye. And they're like, how long is that?
That's like 78 pages.
Like in a book.
In a book, it would be like 78 pages away.
You understand how dumb that sound.
I get 35 hours and 49 minutes.
Holy Snikes.
35 hours and 49 minutes.
I thought you were going to be like 11 hours.
And that was 800 pages.
8,000.
And I'm, look, I'm more animated.
So I would read slower than whoever that was.
I assume.
Also, you're going to mess up.
For sure.
Just like I did the beginning of the show.
So 200 pages.
you got to write it handwrite. Handwrite 200 pages. That would take a long time. You know how strong
your hand would be? I think the time like we've got weak hands nowadays. 40 hours of talking. It's got to be 40
hours of writing. We do. We have grown soft as Americans. As humans. Yeah, like our hands are just
we're soft because we're not handwriting anymore. If you go and you write a letter one page,
let's call it double-sighted, right? You flip it over and finish the letter. I promise.
you, your hand will be hurting
at the end of it. You'll be like, oh my gosh, this is crazy.
For one page. I cheated.
I cheated. It's the same amount of time pretty much.
35 to 50 hours to write 200 pages.
It's going to be about 35 to 45 hours
to read a thousand pages.
And reading is 100% your attention has to be on that.
I could transcribe and write while I listen to songs.
No, you couldn't. Yes, I could easily.
If the papers...
What? Yes, I'm not writing. I'm not coming up with the stories.
Okay, all right. Okay.
I just don't the right.
All right, you said songs.
You said songs, maybe.
I thought you were like.
Classical music, maybe.
You're telling me I can't copy words from over there to over here with music on.
Maybe not.
Not that many pages.
Okay, ADHD over there.
No, no, no, no.
Not that.
You can't do that.
You cannot possibly do that many pages without your editor coming back and be like, uh.
Nobody said the editor has to be happy.
Yes, they do?
Which am I do?
Why does it say it's a lot?
a little bit ironic, don't you think, right
here?
Followed up by the man
crossed the bridge. A little too
ironic. You don't think it takes more attention
to read the entire thousand page book than it does
to write it? I think it's the same.
Far more entertaining and
enjoyable. To read it? To read a book.
I mean, people
read books for fun. That's
historically, like, the number one
human entertainment avenue
has been books. Reading books.
Why are you talking about you like you're a book teacher?
I don't need to hear from book teacher over here.
I'm saying it's an all-timer of entertainment.
You're sitting here straight-facing me saying books are like a thing people do.
I think we know that.
But my point is we're so into TV and audio books.
Like writing down.
Yeah, you wouldn't enjoy handwriting a book.
No, you would not.
You would enjoy creatively thinking of a book.
Let me be honest with you.
I've had a couple times because most of the time they're handing you the iPads at the doctor's offices now and stuff like that.
and the few places that are still in the 40s
are handing you like a thick amount of papers
and when you got to really get it.
When you got to get into that, our hands are not ready.
No, that's what I'm saying.
There's no way.
Our hands are soft.
I mean, honest to goodness, I would enjoy.
I think you convinced me.
I would enjoy doing an audiobook.
I've thought like when we're done with whatever we do now,
I want to do audio work.
I want to do voice work.
That's fun to me.
Even though your voice is like, hey guys, how are you doing?
Yeah, well, there's a character for that.
Okay.
Have you ever been in a doctor's?
office and they hand you thing and you're like, I'm not going to do that.
No, but you should be able to.
You should be like, uh, you're going to be okay with that.
Like, uh, like HIPAA, right?
Right.
Not going to do that.
Yeah, you don't need to know.
I'll talk to my doctor.
What do they do?
I mean, you know what they do?
Do they keep pushing back to your appointment if you're just literally right on?
No, here's what you do.
Here's what they do.
You write everything down.
You sit in the waiting room for, I don't know, a year.
Let's say 15 minutes on a good day.
You go in the back and then the assistant comes in and they ask you every single
question you just answered. That's happened.
And then they write it
all down. And then the doctor comes in
20 minutes later and asks you
every single question again. Why are
we doing this? All you got to
do from here on out is
a little circle with a line
through it for every
answer. Nope. Nope.
Like are they taking the answers?
N-A. Well, that's too much writing. And they
just like, they're like, thank you for this
right in the shredder. Oh, for sure. What are they
doing with these answers? No, I've done the
where I answered the exact same questions
and I want to like they ask you for your medicine history
on this giant form and you write in
every medicine that you're on and you get into the
small little baby office and then they're like
what meds are you on? Let's update your file.
Why? Why did you ask me to do it?
I think they're just trying to
waste time. They've overbooked everything
where if they don't have
lobby time wasters
it's going to be a backlog. People are going to be
so upset. They give you paint by numbers
the sheets. Yeah. I mean
this is really important to your medical history.
The amount of stuff we would do because a person, a person that is considered like the authority in that moment tells us to do it.
You have to do it.
At a doctor's office.
I mean, the impractical jokers have proven this.
No, I mean, if you gave people, like, that would be just a fun social experiment.
Just give them papers with, like, questions that are outlandish.
Like, how many hot dogs do you think you'd eat in an hour?
Yeah, we just have a.
It's like, what?
We have some paperwork to fill out.
And there's a test at the end.
Do your best.
And they give you that.
I want to give them a sheet that has the same question.
five different places on the same packet.
You've got to come up with all sorts of things like that.
And it's like write a paragraph about your medical history.
What is your name?
What do you wish it was?
What do you wish your name was?
That's,
oh my gosh.
We could come up with a great.
You persuaded me.
Audio book, thousand pages.
Let's rock and roll.
35 to 40 hours, though.
I didn't know how it was that long.
I'd listen to this book in my car.
That's very long.
And it's just to and from work.
And I got through it.
I did it.
I don't know about you, but I'm,
I'm charging by the hour.
I mean, I might have sat in the parking lot for an extra five minutes every once in a while.
I think generally voiceover is by the hour.
I can't imagine it is.
It's got to be by the word.
It might be by the word.
Yeah, that would make complete sense because it's like if it's by the word.
It's by the word.
It can't be by the hour because the worst job I do, the more money I get.
Yeah.
I mean, it makes sense to be the projects proportionate to the actual.
a work involved. I'm just telling you guys. So if you messed up, it's on you because you're not getting
paid for the new words. There's three people on this podcast. If you're kind of the hosts and all the
deuces, one of us had a national campaign for a voiceover act. That was, I don't remember who it was.
Dang, that was awesome. It was somebody. It was by the hour. Was it? You weren't reading a book.
Yeah, that was a commercial work. Yeah. Yeah, that's different. Yeah. Can I just have a sidebar here
to complain about something? Is it my voiceover work? I'm reading the book. I did pretty good. I read that book. I read that
That book that's 800 pages, right?
Okay.
And that book has three additional...
When you say you read, you mean you read it to you.
Yeah, shut up.
Actually, half and half.
I went back and forth.
There's this cool feature in the Audible app
where you take a picture of the page you're on
and it auto sinks your audible book.
And you can go back and forth.
But listen, hold on.
I need your attention.
The book's 800 pages.
It's read by a spectacular audiobook reader.
Sam Jackson.
Will Patton.
And there's three other books in the series.
Star Trek?
Just shut it.
Who's Will Patton?
You know him if you look them up.
Yeah, Bill Patton.
Whatever.
Will Bill Wheaton?
Yeah, I was.
I was.
I'm never going to get here, am I?
What are you talking about?
No, please continue about Will Patton.
I need to complain about this to somebody.
The General from World War II.
He read, there's four books.
Oh, my gosh.
Talk about the general.
Go on.
There's four books in the series, Jason.
You listen to books?
Yes, I do all the time.
Three of the four are read by the same audiobook author who's amazing.
No.
No.
No.
Fourth.
One fourth.
And it's not like it's the last one.
It's like in the middle.
It's read by a completely different audiobook person.
I'll say this.
I was listening to the Stormlight Archive.
And the whole first book has this incredible, like, audio.
What do you call them?
Audio actors?
I guess.
I don't know.
Reader.
They're just their voiceover people.
And then the second book, they started sharing work.
It was like all the girl roles were read by one person.
I was like, that's not her voice.
So audio book, final answer.
I have looked up Will Patton.
He's 72 years old.
He's 5 foot 10.
I definitely know who he is.
Yeah.
Okay.
The first picture is him being arrested.
Unfortunately for Will Patton.
The first.
The UI.
Oh, man.
It's not looking good.
So this was, if you want to know out there who I'm talking about, it was the coach
slash father of Hayden Panetteer.
Yeah.
And remember the Titans.
That's the actor.
If you look at Will Patton, you know who he is.
He's one of those.
He's in, yes, yes.
He's one of those actors that's under the qualification of like, you know that guy.
Everything you see him in.
Oh, it's that guy.
You know that guy.
No one knows his name, but you know that guy.
I don't like the first picture.
I will not remember Will Patton's name in 10 minutes.
What about his rap sheet?
Really unfortunate for his Google results.
Yeah, that's not good PR work.
I'm not down playing what he did, but it's like, man, that sucks.
All right.
Would you rather?
Oh, he was in Armageddon and the postman?
He's been in everything.
Oh, he's really good friends of the postman.
The postman.
He's really.
good friends with Kevin Costner.
Kevin Costner. Would you rather chaperon
every single school
field trip for the next 10
years? Okay. Or be the permanent
snack parent for every youth sport
for the same. Oh, the snack thing, man.
I freaking hate being the snack parent.
Oh, really? I hate it. I'd love it.
You would love it. You would.
Well, because we don't... He's the chef.
How often have you been the snack parent? He hosts
lots of events. Let me guess.
Full-size snicker bars.
You're darn right. I mean, that's where I was going.
And you got to treat these kids.
I mean, like a real question.
You have other parents hate you.
Because you have, you, your kids are mostly theater kids.
Correct.
So how often have you had to be the snack parents?
Not very often.
Okay.
That sounds right.
I had, that sounds right.
My boys both played, uh, some sports growing up.
And then I, well, yeah, I mean, one played baseball, one played football.
I didn't think we need to get into specifics.
It says a lot.
We're like, they played some sports.
And so there was there was probably I don't know seven or eight times that we were in charge of the weekly treats.
And we would, you know, you're the worst.
Dude.
My kids.
Full size Gatorade.
Yes.
Full size candy bars.
Sugar bomb on the way home.
You're darn right.
You're giving the sports kids candy bars.
That's why you played some sports.
No, you bring like Gatorade is that's fine.
You made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches once.
Made?
You're darn right.
You didn't uncrust them?
Maybe they didn't.
Where is all this time coming from?
Listen, there is a morbid twist in Jason's life where he is simultaneously hates all the, listen, he hates all the events he has.
Yes.
But in the deep breaths, there's a pride that comes to doing them well.
You're flexing on the other parents.
You're trying to look better.
He cooks these things for these huge families.
And it's like, oh, man, I got to do it.
But then at the end, it's like, I did it.
Yeah.
Well, if I've got to do something, I'm going to do it with excellence.
And there's nothing.
I'm not judging.
I think it's awesome.
I just mean that.
I also hate it, though.
They go together.
No, they do.
I don't ever want to do it again.
But you do a great job.
No.
So what are my options here?
I'm the snack parent or what?
You have to chaperone field trips for 10 years.
I'll take the snacks.
Give me the age range.
Yeah, I was going to say, my kids are one year at high school.
For 10 years, we're going K through sophomore year.
Get some trips out of it.
I guess that's freshman year.
Those trips suck.
No, it's so much easy.
easier to make a snack pack. And after you do it every week, you're not going fancy. You can
freaking gogert this thing. You'll be fine. All this is is a Costco order. You ever solved the
problem with some gogarts? I've done it. Yes. That gogers was sitting in my car for a couple
hours. I wouldn't need it. I'm going to grab three different pre-packaged things.
Throw it in a little, I don't even care. That's how I have always done it. Maybe just a
grocery bag, just a plastic grocery bag. Grab your... That's another fun social experiment. Put something
funny in that bag.
gift cards Jason throwing out gift
$50 gift cards the Starbucks
$50? Whoa, let's take it easy
All right. It's like two bucks to QT
I want to know I would
If it's a social experiment
It would be like $5 to Chili's
Where you can't go there for $5
You know what I mean?
That is the, yeah, that's the worst
That is how they get us with the kids
They're like, hey, great news
I don't want to do the field trip thing
We got your kid a ticket to the Arizona State Fair
Aw ticket?
Yeah.
Yeah. It's going to cost you a
$1,000.
That's funny, dude. Either you pay
up or you make your child sad.
And it doesn't work on bracelet day.
Of course not. No way.
That reminds me of those coupon books
they'd sell at school for the... Oh, yeah.
It's like it's got $10,000 worth of value
in here. And every coupon's like a couple
bucks off a restaurant that would cost you
60 bucks to go there. And it's like,
man, I got to get this value.
If you use that $10,000
of value, you've spent $600,000.
35 grand that year.
The people out there that don't.
But you saved so much.
18 dollars off a couch.
I mean, what are we doing?
I'm lazy boy.
People out there that don't know what you're talking about.
Oh, yeah.
This was.
It was the fundraising of the year.
Everyone had it.
50 bucks.
50 bucks for this book of coupons.
We get $25 off a trip to the moon.
Yeah.
I mean, it's just.
It's like, it's just got to fly to Russia.
And they'll send you there.
Two for two on.
Disney tickets.
What do you want to do two for two?
What do you want to do tonight?
All right, let's get the book.
And you'd open it up and figure out what you could do.
They would sell these super thick books with coupons in them.
There's thousands of coupons.
Yeah.
And so they add up all the potential value.
And Carl's Jr. is in there.
Don't worry about that.
Yeah.
So are we all taking the snack thing, though?
Yeah, it's way easier.
Would you rather get a brain freeze or hit your funny bone?
And that's a good question.
That's a great question.
I saw Josh.
Papa Josh literally.
yesterday. He whacked his
funny bone elbow on his desk.
And I felt it in my
nether region because you
your face
He didn't lock it on your nether region though.
Your face lit up like I knew.
I just that feeling of
whacking the wrong spot on your
elbow that sends
electricity through your whole body
and freezes up your arm.
It is
outrageously painful.
I feel like a
a brain freeze.
Now, I've heard Andy talk about
I think he gets it worse because he houses ice cream.
Oh, the older I get the worse, the brain freezes.
I don't really get brain freezes.
There's no way I'm not, I have to say I'd rather have the elbow thing
because the brain freeze problem is this.
It's like regular ice cream doesn't do it to me.
You know what it is?
It's always.
Frosties.
It's anything with an icy component, like a smoothie with ice.
Milk shake.
Sometimes.
Okay.
But the problem is
I've never ever had a brain freeze on something that wasn't delicious.
I mean, there's no way that I don't want to keep eating it.
Like I remember in particular, I got this really big, like, peanut colada smoothie.
And this thing, whatever mixture of ice in it was an instant brain freeze the second touch, like the second I swallow a small sip.
And I had a giant thing that I had to get through.
So you obviously threw it away.
No.
You finished it.
Into my mouth.
He's not a quitter.
No, but it was like, I had like 17 brain freezes over the course, and I was willing to endure it.
Which one, because you guys have, I've had tons of funny bone smacks, but I don't remember my last brain freeze.
I don't remember.
Sonic slushes, those are made for brain freezes, Josh.
So my question is, please educate me here.
How long does a brain freeze usually last?
When you're in the moment?
Infinity.
I would say the real truth of that is anywhere from, I mean, it could be up to two minutes.
I'm going 45 seconds to two minutes, yeah, to two minutes.
I mean, if you're a man.
The longer the better?
Google says, uh, because I have, I've felt the brain freeze coming and I'm like,
I took another sip.
I'm like, I can handle it.
And then.
I've done all the tricks, too.
It don't.
I mean, they don't do much.
Yeah, they're like, put your tongue up to the roof of your mouth.
Yeah.
I mean, what?
Give me some like a hot chocolate will fix it or something.
But, but.
Give me a blow torch.
I do think that the funny bone is excruciating, but it is like wasabi.
It comes on strong and like wrecks your body and then it completely goes away.
It doesn't have lingering effects.
Remember I had that problem to hit my elbow every two seconds?
Yeah, yeah, I do.
When your arm grew.
You ever had an elbow in the wrong place?
You definitely had one of your arms grow because there was like a month or two.
I was here too.
I'd do this.
You were hitting your left elbow
I was in my growth spurt.
Everywhere you walked.
Yes.
And it stopped.
Why did it stop?
You stopped growing.
You got used to it.
You adjusted.
I've got a huge elbow.
Because of all the damage it took.
Yeah.
Well, it's calluses.
So I would rather have the funny bone.
I think I would rather have the funny bone too because when it's over, it's over.
I feel like a brain freeze might linger a little while longer.
And more so when you get a brain freeze.
There's more on the way.
There's more on the way if you've got something cold to eat.
Whereas I'm not just going to keep hitting.
my funny. I have one friend that can't get a brain freeze. It's impossible. Like you with
burping. Right. And I've, like, we've challenged it. Like, full frosty within 10 seconds. He can
down the whole, whole large frosty. He'll just swallow, swallow, swallow, swallow, swallow,
how is that possible? I want to know if I. I genuinely want to know if I could get a brain free.
If, if I can get a brain free. You've never done that? I've never done that, but I, but you don't know what it is.
I don't know if I've had a brain freeze. Get a sonic slush on the way home. I've had a large.
cold back of the throat
where it's like this is too cold. No, it's not
throat. It's in
It's in your head man. It's soft, no, it's like, I think it's
the soft ballad. But you feel it as a headache. Yes.
What would be, so remember we did the
excruciating, terrible, horrible
Yes. Burp test. Burp test with the
Rupier that ruined an entire day for me. I didn't get a chance to
apologize for ruining your day. Yeah, no, you didn't. And it was
So let me know later, I might do that. I've talked to my therapist about a lot, but
what would be the
the equivalent of that to get a brain freeze.
Can someone get a sonic slush in here?
Large sonic sludge?
I feel like it's a frosty.
I don't need all that sugar, please.
Frosty works.
No, you don't eat, but it has to be fresh.
Yeah, but you have to eat it fast.
Yeah, how, you don't, you don't, you don't have to eat it fast.
A frosty, I don't, I don't, I have plenty of frosty before.
This guy's never had it before.
When's the last time you had a frosty?
A year?
A year?
A year?
A lot.
That's what I think.
Yeah, we'll take a break.
We'll play some games.
Here we go.
I was thinking before the break, we told him we tried to get him a brain freeze.
What if we tricked him and just got a more A&W root beer?
Just said, here's a frosty.
You've got to drink it as fast as possible.
You can and put it in a frosty cup.
That'd have been great.
Guys, I'm going to be honest.
This tastes a lot like root beer.
No, no, no.
You're doing it.
You're doing it.
Let's do some Ballardash.
What time is it? Game time.
All right, we have played Ballard Dash before, and generally it is a game in which the three of us come up with different definitions for words.
We describe notable people in history, and we try to convince one another of a lie, basically.
You're supposed to try to determine what the truth is about this person or acronym or movie plot or definition versus the lying submissions that we...
It's a quest for truth that we put into place.
Now, we were gifted with the amazing treat of trying to play this game,
not from our own lies, but from the lies of our producers and staff here at the Fantasy Footballers.
So does every different producer have like a series of, like, are we playing against Al and against Josh?
Not really.
So everybody just combined to lie together?
But yeah, we kind of worked on these at the lunch table together.
So it's just you guys versus us.
And you guys are actually kind of independent here.
It's kind of like liar, liar.
So we basically, at this point, the winner of our game is just going to be the people that find the right answer the most.
Correct.
And then the winner of your game internally, you'll just know who's the lyingest liar that got the most lies.
Jeremy.
All right, let's start it off.
L.
Oh, okay.
I mean, we can do it, but then we would know the answer.
Yeah, I don't mind.
They're all in the dock, but I don't mind.
Yeah, I can do it.
The word that we'll start with is the word widershins, Witter shins.
W-I-D-D-E-R shins, Witter-shins.
Wittersh.
And it is one of these four things.
Are you sure it's not?
Werdersians.
It might be.
Like Wersher Shire?
It is the same origin word in Latin, yes.
To turn in a counterclockwise direction.
So one of the possible answers, counterclockwise.
Word.
Number two, the uncanny feeling that there is someone watching you.
Washing you?
Oh, man.
I feel like there's someone washing me.
I'm not sure.
Somebody's washing me.
I told you I could read them out.
Do you ever feel like someone's washing you?
washing you. I got no privacy.
Oh, man. You feel like you're just sitting there.
The uncanny feeling that someone's watching you.
Body's getting clean.
The type of joinery used by Amish furniture builders.
So, Wittershins.
That's the lie.
Someone was like, oh, I'll be saying joinery.
Yeah, there's three lies, Jay.
But I got one of them.
And then a traditional small German pastry, a Witterchin pastry.
Oh, that sounds like.
like such a German word.
That's a really good answer.
It's easily between two.
I know which one that I'm going to go with.
Give me the word again, Witter.
Witter.
Witter.
Wittersh.
Witter.
Widders.
Witter.
Witter.
So I have mine written down.
We're all going to write them down and see if we can get it right.
You at home can play along.
And Witter Shins, let me know when you guys are locked.
So the answers were something about counterclockwise.
The uncanny feeling is someone's watching you.
Someone's washing you.
The type of joinery used by homage furniture builders.
Okay.
And a traditional small German pastry.
It's got to be the pastry of the clockwise, in my opinion.
Well, lock one in.
I'm going to lock in place.
I locked in.
I'm locked.
I'm locked.
Because counterclockwise was the one that jumped out to me.
So that's what you're going with?
That one.
Jason?
I also went counterclockwise.
I think this was one of those situations in which the, uh, the little word here,
the type of joinery.
Oh, you fell for it.
I even told you.
I think type of joinery was actually.
It was actually the right answer.
No way.
So we'll find out.
No way.
All right.
The real answer to go in a counterclockwise direction.
Yay!
You fell for it.
I did.
Dang it.
I remember when I was.
I thought they were going to do the like, I think you think this.
So I think this.
When I was a kid, I played a similar game, totally different, but it was called Balderdash.
Um, and I remember I won this game on the, like the fun.
round and I won as a kid with adults and the whole reason was because I still remember this answer
to this day or at least part of it it was the nexus of a hair and I just made that I didn't know what
that meant at all but I was like the nexus of a hair and no one knew what that was and so everyone
was like that's got to be it because I don't know what a nexus you made the phrase up yeah yeah
and so that's joinery that's what it was for you hey that's not a word
You guys got a point. I got nothing. Notable person. The name of the person is Hazel Bishop.
Watch it. Wait, wait, wait. Hold on. Hesel Bishop. Oh, this is a person. It's a person. Okay. And this is what they did. They did one of these four things. What did Hazel Bishop get up to? A botanist credited for establishing the first. I feel like they were washing me. Arboretum. Hold on, hold on. Botanist.
Credited for this for establishing the first. Yep. Yep. Yep. Here it is. We're done.
Arboretum.
We're done.
Nexus of the hair.
Why?
Oh man, you're so clever coming up with Arboretum.
Get out of here.
Lie.
The next one.
The third American woman to go to space.
Hazel Bishop.
Third?
The third.
Yeah.
You always want to be third.
The inventor of non-smearing lipstick.
Or the inventor of the board game,
Klu.
Was that invented at a time in which women were allowed to invent things?
I hate that would
without without men stealing credit for it
yeah hmm hmm hmm hmm
that seems like an old game
Hazel bishop
hmm I
yeah yeah bishop
well we know it's not the botanist
establishing the first
arboretum so if it is I apologize
I mean you do you Andy you can do that
you went you felt for join her in third woman in space
is my job to fall for them
yes you can I'm the
Inventor of
Clu or what was the
Oh, I've got a
Inventor of non-smearing
I've got an image of all our entire staff
watching this right now
To figure out who guesses their answers
Well, I, oh, I got to know
After this question
If whoever did the joinery
Also did the Arboretto
All right, we'll find out
I'm locked
I'm locked
I feel bad about my answer
I'm locked
But I'm locked in
All right, I'm going with the inventor
of the board game clue
I'm going lipstick
I went lipstick.
Jason, hold on.
Don't say that part out loud.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Don't do anything.
Don't do anything.
Hold that up.
Hold that up.
Hold that up.
Spell lipstick, Jason.
He fixed it.
L-I-P-S-T-R-C-K.
He turned the H into a K.
Lipsdiver.
Go to the camera.
Lipsdike.
It's clearly lipstick.
Yeah, he saved that.
That was good.
Thank you.
Let's get the lipstick.
Hazel Bishop didn't make lipstick.
She made lipstick.
She made lipstick.
I'm doing Clue.
You did lipstick.
Mike. I went lipstick.
Mike and I are together.
Twice.
Jason and I'm sorry, Jason and Mike starting two to zero.
Oh, yeah. All right.
The correct answer was the lipstick.
And it was not the same person that did Arboretum and joinery.
All right.
Joynery was Schneider.
Okay.
And Arboretum was Josh.
All right.
Next one is an acronym BBHC.
I can't wait to hear a new word.
What?
BBHC.
Big Bear Harbor Committee.
So that would be Big Bear.
We're going to have to slow down on this one.
Big Bear.
Big Bear Harbor committee.
I mean, Big Bear Lake, man.
Oh, I thought Big Bear is a mountain.
Big Bear is a mountain.
Big Bear is everything, man.
There's a lake on a mountain?
It's a lake with a mountain next to it.
You can never heard that before?
You never seen a lake on a mountain?
Oh, I have.
I have.
I have seen a lake near a mountain.
I've seen several.
Big Bear Lake.
Wait, Big Bear.
I've never seen a harbor.
Big Bear Harbor Committee.
Just try to keep up.
Okay.
I'm trying.
Brioche, bacon, ham, and cheese.
Delicious.
That can't be an act.
Wait.
I mean, it could be.
It can be, right?
You got BLT?
Yeah, BBHC at the old sandwich shop.
The next one, balloon blowers and helium conservatory.
I don't want it to be that.
It can't be.
I want it to be that.
Balloon blowers of helium conservatory.
Whoever came up with that, I commend you.
They know their letters.
I commend you.
And then the last one, Buffalo Bill Historical Center.
It's so boring.
It's it.
I mean, this is a problem.
Buffalo Bill,
I am not good at this game.
Is that the character from Silence of the Lambs?
No, it's not.
Yeah.
Number one.
Yes.
Okay.
But number two,
there was a real one, right?
Buffalo,
wait,
who am I thinking of with,
Wild Bill Hancock?
We're thinking about with the Antiochley.
Wasn't that Buffalo Bill?
Maybe.
I don't know.
Josh?
Buffalo Bill has,
I can't help you on this, man.
I might give him a list.
He's one of the liars.
No, no, no.
This is just a historical.
person question. He can't help that. Was Buffalo
Bill with Annie Oakley? Was that
the? Oh my God.
They won't. They won't help. We'll let you know.
I have my. This
will not help the question. It does.
They just gave themselves away.
They just absolutely gave themselves
away. I was going to go brioch,
bacon, ham, and cheese for sure.
They don't want to answer because
it's clearly a real person. And they
know it. They're like, I won't say it. Oh,
Buffalo Bill locked in.
My answer locked in is
Buffalo Bill.
Yeah, because you see right through it.
We got to do it.
Tell me.
I mean, I didn't have any of the reasons you got.
I really wanted to do brioche.
Dude, it's a great answer.
Brioz, bacon, ham, and cheese.
It's a PLT.
Yes, it was Annie Oakley of Buffalo Bill.
Yes.
And yes, that is the correct thing.
You know, oh, we are wrecking the dozers.
All you did, all you did by ruining that was ruining me gaining a point because he wasn't
going to answer that.
No, I was going on Breosch and cheese.
I had Buffalo Bill locked in.
Oh, dude.
Egg on your face.
Gosh, dang.
If we get this next one right.
Oh, no, there's two more.
There are two more.
Okay.
Movie plot.
The awful Dr. Olaf is the name of the movie.
The awful Dr. Olaf.
The Snowman?
I know.
You guys got your jokes.
Hold on.
It's a typo there.
Dr. Orloff.
Sorry about that.
The awful Dr. Orloff.
Game's ruined.
Yeah.
Call it off.
Four plots.
Here are the plots.
Try to.
Dr. Orloff.
Orloff.
O-R-L-O-F.
Okay.
A sadistic doctor secretly harvest his patient's kidneys while performing routine operations in order to
repay his gambling debt.
So we'll go.
Gorgans with debt.
Okay.
Number two, a widow falls in love with a therapist,
only to find out that he is her deceased husband's killer.
Oh.
If that's not real, that's a good one.
That's a good plot.
Yeah, I like it.
Therapist's one?
Yeah.
I assume Dr. Orloff would be the killer.
A woman,
sorry, women are kidnapped and taken to a doctor's castle
so he can give his disfigured daughters a new face.
Just one daughter.
Yeah, sorry.
Yeah.
I actually watched a movie somewhat similar to that.
Okay, great.
It's a weird movie.
Please tell me more.
They like, these girls grew up underground in this like...
Tell me less.
Is this the island?
I don't remember the name of it, maybe, but...
Was it the awful Dr. Orloff by chance?
And then they would like...
That would help us.
Eventually harvest the girl's skin for like...
Okay.
Anyways.
I mean, it's kind of the island.
The last one, a college chemistry professor is discovered to have forged her credentials
in order to access to college's nuclear research.
Okay.
Boring.
It's a nuclear.
Okay, nukes.
Ambling therapist, daughter's face, and nukes.
The awful doctor or law.
Yeah, I got mine locked.
I'm going to the one that rules.
Mine locked.
All right, go ahead.
Mine locked.
I'm going with the shortest one.
I always go with the shortest one on these.
Oh, I was going to.
widow as well. Is that the therapist one?
Wait, I got to change mine then.
I check. Can I change? If the person in Alaska
can make a... Sure, you're fine. An adjustment.
Yeah, sure. Because I need to try to catch up. That's fine.
So I got to take a shot. We are locked in, brother.
New face. Wait, new face? The daughter
face? New face is for the daughter.
Point for Andy.
Hey! All right. Good change. Yes.
That's usually the worst thing you can do.
Second shortest.
Usually the made-up ones on.
the movie plots. They're just too many
words. They're all within the top four shortest
though. Well, whoever made up the therapist
one, you need to get to
writing. Yeah, start writing. That's a great idea.
But your movie is the awful
Dr. Olaf.
He is. That was Josh.
Good work, Joe. So we're sitting
at Mike with three, Jason with three, Andy
with two. It's like, I like warm
hugs. Good thing the last one's worth two points.
Yeah.
Yeah. Let's do it. Last
one's right two. Because I don't have a time.
All right, weird laws.
In Lexington, Kentucky.
Lexington?
Mm-hmm. Yes.
Yeah, all right, it's a pretty important
city in the history of America, so you know.
In Lexington, Kentucky,
sure. It is illegal for a woman to marry
one of these four things.
Okay, okay. A man with his hat on.
Oh, those men wearing hats.
A man with a hat.
Diabolical.
The same man more than three times.
More than three.
That's the max. So you can go three.
That's triple jeopardy.
that might be smart.
Her deceased husband's identical twin.
That's funny.
That feels completely asinine if that was a real law.
Well, that one...
He looks the same.
That seems like an easy fix.
That's getting in the way of love.
That should be your auto-married to that person.
And then the last one, a man who is noticeably intoxicated.
In Kentucky?
Yeah.
Then no one's married.
Give me a break.
Bourbon capital of the world.
That's not it.
So wait.
A man with his hat on.
The same man more than three times.
A deceased husband's identical twin or a man who is noticeably intoxicated.
All right.
I'm locked.
You're locked?
I'm locked.
Dang, man.
Yeah.
To me,
it's between.
Last place person doesn't have to lock, right?
That's the new rule.
If we get double points, you got a lock.
Okay.
Was it Lexington or Concord shot her around the world?
Neither of them were in Kentucky.
Does anyone hear...
I can promise you it's not Kentucky.
Josh, bro, I'm not a history guy.
I'm a science guy.
The shot heard around the world didn't happen in Kentucky.
Did it happen?
Was it conquered?
It was up in the northeast
where the, you know,
the fight was happening.
I'm just why you ask the question.
There's probably a Lexington.
It is the first opening gunshot of the battles of Lexington and Concord.
Yeah.
So wait, I just fused both?
But that's like up in like Boston or something, right?
And Concord is it like a different place?
The battles of Lexington and Concord is the name of this war apparently.
Where was it?
It began the American Revolutionary War.
Yes.
It was as the British troops marched toward Concord, Massachusetts.
There you go.
Okay.
There's just no way they were in Kentucky.
Massachusetts is not close to Kentucky.
Kentucky is not the place.
Well, there's more than one Lexington.
That's what it is.
That's where I got thrown out.
After the Revolutionary War, then they went to Churchill Downs.
I just know the city names.
What you didn't know is Paul Revere went around
and around on that.
Yeah.
On the horse,
on the,
in the actual Kentucky Derby.
I'm locked.
I'm locked.
Hold on.
So a hat.
Hat, more than three times,
identical twin,
or in the bourbon capital of the world,
a man who is noticeably intoxicated.
Well,
they can be unnoticedably intoxicated there.
They all are.
So go ahead.
Mike's got a lock.
Lots at stake here.
A winner.
A winner will be.
I mean,
whoever gets this if the others don't win.
Okay.
I'm locked.
I hope Mike and I both.
got it right because then we would have crushed it. It would be pretty great. I am going three times.
Oh, I went three. We all went three. I'm changing. Oh, you're changing? No, no, no, no, no. Once you
release the, no, no, no, let him. Let him change. Oh, okay. Because I think we got it right.
And then we'll change. We'll change. Change, you coward. This he's husband's identical twin.
It didn't matter. It was the, it was the, it was the same man more than three times. Yeah.
Yeah. Nice change loser. Why didn't you guys choose worst one?
and lose.
Wow.
Who came up with a man who was
noticeably intoxicated?
I came up with all these ones because you guys came in
at the end so we had to stop our discussion.
Well, that was a bad one.
I don't know.
I think a lot of people are intoxicated and you can't tell in Kentucky.
We dominated.
But they wouldn't make a law against alcohol.
I visited.
I flew to Kentucky solely for bourbon.
You did?
I did.
But did you go there to get married?
Well, they didn't let him.
No, because I was intoxicated.
No.
I did start the Revolutionary War, though.
Right.
In Lexington, Kentucky.
That was actually in Malibu, California.
I go to Lexington for the reenactment.
I'm so, I'm so disappointed in you.
You are the historical.
So wait.
You're always right on the historical stuff.
And then you think the shot heard around the world happened in Kentucky.
I just heard Lexington, man.
No, I, that part was right.
Mike, we were insanely.
Yeah, we were very good.
We got movie plot wrong.
Yeah, you did.
But did we answer the same movie plot?
I don't I went with
yeah because I changed
you guys went with the widow
so we locked in and answered identical
for everything one
can't think on your own
we just think the same way
we also we crushed
we got almost everything right
I wish I could focus on your victory
but we've got to take a break and we'll get into the draft
the spitballers draft
well it wouldn't be a spitballer's draft
unless the topic was compelling
and this topic is very compelling
it is the top thing
that make light.
We are drafting things that make light
and oh, there are many.
Jason? I guess I got the
first pick, so I'm going to take the one
that creates all of
it. All light. It doesn't make
all light. You're not making
any light without it. I would
argue that we are in a room
that is fully lit. I would argue
does not have your option. I would argue that
if the sun wasn't here,
there would be nothing here.
You wouldn't exist and you would not
create electricity without the sun. So it's your favorite thing that makes light. It's the sun.
Why don't you go look at it? We can definitely make electricity without the sun. What are you even
talking about? I'm saying that it's easily the first pick but you're saying dumb stuff.
You can't exist without the sun. You can make the first pick without dumb stuff. Energy is derived
from the sun. You don't sell us on the sun. Don't sell us on the sun. Just let it be. I'll take
the Phoenix Suns. They do create light in my heart. Yeah.
My pick?
Your pick. It's up to you.
Good luck after the sun is gone.
Fire. That's pretty good.
Like a mini sun.
Yeah.
It's basically my pick.
It's a little tiny slice of my pick.
There's a little.
There's a lot of stuff that goes into things that make light and one makes them great.
But what's better than like a fire or a campfire?
Come on.
In the middle of the dark.
I do.
I adore a campfire.
We have a cabin and there is literally.
no place I think in the world
that I prefer going any
vacation, any than sitting around
the campfire, especially
when it's cold, with a fire going.
Fire is the pick.
The older I get, the more interesting
fire is.
I now just
sit and
I'm not thinking of stuff.
I'm watching the fire going
how does this work?
Yeah. It's infinite
too, like you know, sort of. It doesn't make
sense. You're like, oh, this part's
kind of hot. You're like, well, it's a
different color. And then it just kind of fades away.
It's very interesting.
You didn't do that.
No.
Wait, wait, wait. He didn't do what?
No.
We were having a separate chat in Slack where
Andy's making fun of me for
having, you know, you know.
All right, all right. I'm up. I get two picks.
All right. Two picks. Things that make light,
Mike.
So for the first pick
Because the second one's a little wild
It's got light in the word
Cheater
Lighthouse?
No
Lightning
Lightning bug lightning
Dang it
Lightning
If I could have gotten fire in lightning
I do appreciate the light that it generates for
A brief moment in time
Mill a second
Yeah
So cool
It is
Oh he's trying to insult your lightning bro
Well, I just, we're trying to find things that...
Don't even start on sun versus lightning about which is cooler.
Lightning is so much cooler than the sun.
The sun can't even see the lightning.
Well, temperature-wise, you're right.
Correct.
Is it?
Yes.
It's got to be.
If lightning was the temperature of the sun, we'd be dead.
It's just very small.
Lightning is five times hotter than the surface of the sun.
Oh!
No, it is...
Oh!
No, it is...
I've cared to comment.
Care to comment, you idiots.
No, this is impossible.
Jason, stuff is hotter than the sun all the time.
No, they are calculating it with, I'm sure a nuke is hotter.
For sure.
But we didn't get, like, the whole world doesn't disappear.
Oh, you got body.
Because the sun is, I don't believe it.
I don't believe it.
And lightning is just like this tiny little blip, ephemeral, it's just a little flash.
That was amazing.
We're talking the surface of the sun, so it doesn't matter how far it is away.
What a moment.
You buffoon.
All right, you got lightning, Mike.
What's your wild other pick?
The sun is cooler than lightning.
Oh, man.
Yeah.
Okay, so it's, okay, all right.
Temperature versus total amount of heat energy.
Don't do this.
Well, actually, I'm a nerd.
Get out of here.
I have to put glasses on because I'm not a dork.
Yeah, you're going to be not warmed by this super.
super hot lightning. I don't want to be warmed. I want cool. If you want heat, you want to be warm.
It's things that make light. Not make heat. I'm not drafting a sauna. You clown. Radiator. I got a
radiator. Central heating. All right. Get out of here. You got to eat that one, Jay. All right, Mike. Second
I refuse. Oh, man. He is scraping the internet for any source that
contradicts that right now.
Oh, man.
All right.
Felix has no heat energy.
Felix, tell me how I could be right.
Oh, okay.
I was totally on your side, but I let you get dunked on.
Yeah, I saw you agree with you.
Like, oh yeah, how can it be hotter than the sun?
Yeah, I didn't agree.
But in your face.
Because it has no heat energy.
It's just a temperature.
I tell you, I'm hot right now from laughing.
My second pick.
Whatever I say now, it doesn't matter because it won't beat that moment.
Dang it, I want a lightning.
Because it's an incredible pit.
It's good.
We're also going to take lava.
Dang it!
We're going to...
Really.
Oh, liquid fire!
Dude, it's rock.
I don't think it's liquid.
Is it liquid?
Yes, it's the lake.
How does it run down a mountain, Jay?
Isn't there a different...
Somebody called Bill Nye.
We have a man with a problem.
It is literally...
It is molten, it is liquid rock.
Magma.
You got to go, you're Billy Madison right now, bro.
I'm sending you back to grade school.
You just made the greatest, too.
Like the greatest third, fourth pick in history.
Thank you.
I've been stripped of my hope.
I'm going, I'm going stars.
You don't get them all.
Oh, I'm taking the stars.
That's fine.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Your stars are bigger and better than my son.
They're just so far away.
That's true, but they make light and it's pretty light.
Yeah, they're twinkling.
I can look at them.
I can't look at the sun.
You know what I mean?
That's true.
That's true.
Because mine is so powerful.
Oh my gosh, Mike, you just smashed.
You just smashed.
I wanted, dude, I wanted volcanoes, which is lava.
So it's like, I can't take that.
Lava.
And I've been in a room with lava.
It's shocking.
I have.
Shockingly hot.
At a, I was in a...
I like that you said a room.
It was a room?
It was a, when I went to ice...
You were on a volcano.
You just went to a room.
No, I went to Iceland.
And they, like, they just heat a room.
up rocks and they make lava.
So it wasn't real.
What do you mean? It's not real.
It's not real lava.
Don't take him for his, he has no idea what lava is.
Okay. It's man-made lava.
What did you think it was?
Not a liquid?
I thought magma was like some substance between a liquid and a solid.
Well, magma, I guess, is technically beneath the earth and lava is like coming out of
the earth.
I think you're right.
But lava.
I'm an idiot.
My point was lava extremely hot.
Whatever that photo used, that was exactly where I was, Jeremy.
Yep, that's Iceland.
And that place was awesome.
That's crazy.
And it must be boiling.
Dude, it's so hot.
Oh, he doesn't care about heat, though.
He just cares about light.
It's not a draft in a sauna.
It's so hot.
My pick is so hot.
I'm not drafted a sauna.
Give me a break, this guy.
Jason is having the time of his life.
This guy.
See, he knows metal.
He doesn't know light, okay?
If you know a metal, you should know about.
Molten.
I got to find something to fight fire with fire here to fight lightning with something cool.
I got to go like lasers, man.
Oh.
I got to go lasers.
Laser light, man.
That's pretty cool.
It's not lightning.
No.
But I mean, some lasers will cut you.
What I don't understand about lasers.
Exactly.
Well, number one is so many things.
Right.
But number two, how can we have like pointer lasers?
And you're just like, you know, you're.
No big deal.
You're like, hey, look at that.
over there.
And then we have some lasers.
It's like it could burn a hole in cardboard.
How's that work?
Mike,
it's so complicated.
I'll explain to you after.
We don't have time on this podcast.
Yes, I'll get into the finer details of that after the show.
All right.
We're going to bring it back to sanity here.
How are we?
Things that create light.
Things that give light.
I'm going to take light bulbs.
I mean,
Mike literally the first thing is like,
Jason, we're inside a room and there's...
Yes.
Yeah, because everything...
Because everything in our world
predominantly that makes light is a light bulb.
What kind?
What kind are you taking?
Taking light bulbs.
Oh.
Yeah, but what's your preferred lumens?
My preferred would be $5,000.
5,000K.
5,000K, but like what kind of lumens?
How bright?
Also, what...
At least 1,000.
Oh, okay.
What type?
You can read under that.
Like, are we...
You're like LEDs?
You're an LED?
No.
Well, because you don't want heat, do you?
No, I don't.
Okay.
Mike was setting that one up.
Which is why I think lava would be a terrible.
No incandescent for Jason.
No halogen.
Jason, you get another pick.
All right.
Well, here's the thing.
Light bulbs make light.
But they only really make light when you're inside and you got electricity and all that.
What if I'm out in the woods?
It's really the filament, but.
Okay.
No, no.
You're going to be nerd.
Are you double glasses?
That is four eyes.
He did a literal four eyes.
You're six eyes.
Mm.
Man.
All right.
I'm going to take a flashlight.
Okay.
Flashlight is like a light bulb inside of a small.
Yeah.
It's a light bulb that you could take with you.
Oh.
A light bulb.
You can take with you.
Oh, man.
Oh.
I'm going to close it out with bioluminescent animals.
Yeah.
Any animal that creates its own light because it's skin or body or whatever weird crap is inside of it.
That's pretty cool.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
I'm going bioluminescent creatures.
Do you have one specifically?
Like the angler fish is your top of the list?
I mean, I don't know.
I guess you have to, I guess with a scorpion, you have to have a black light to see it.
Correct.
So you have to have an external light.
No, no, no.
But like, scorpion.
I mean, but a bioluminescent is one that creates its own light.
Correct.
That's what I was saying it wouldn't really be a scorpion.
It would be, he was asking it specifically.
It's like when you're in the ocean and you hit it and then the algae lights up or whatever it is.
Exactly.
All right.
So I get two picks.
Hmm.
Do you?
You went way out of order, I think.
Did we?
I wondered about.
this earlier. I don't know where we got messed up, but it's definitely
Wait, how many of Jason have right now? He has three. I have three. I have
signed light bulbs and flashlight. Yeah, somehow
Andy just took his last pick. Yeah, he totally went. Wait, you took two
picks? He took bioluminescent animals just now. I haven't updated
the board, but I think that'll help us. Mainly because I don't know how to spell bioluminescence.
Where did we get lost? I feel like he went stars and lasers like back to back.
You started. And so you should have had a second pick?
This guy.
And I did.
When it came back to me, I took light bulbs and then I took a flashlight.
It's always Andy going out of order.
So he took light bulbs.
So which, which pick from Jason are we missing?
None.
It just, you shouldn't have had four yet.
You win out of order.
I don't blame me for something.
We don't know for sure what happened.
I think we can find out real easy.
Who has four before?
Who's in the middle?
He's in the middle.
He's in the middle and has four.
Wait, hold on.
Jason went sun.
I went fire.
Mike went lightning and lava.
Yeah.
Came back to me for stars.
And then lasers.
No, no, no.
I didn't go stars and lasers.
Yeah.
You did.
You shouldn't have.
But you did.
You went stars and lasers and then I went light bulb and flashlight.
No, I just went stars.
I did just go stars, maybe.
Maybe not.
Okay.
Then you went lasers and then bioluminescent.
Then I went lasers and then Mike went.
Anyway, Mike gets two picks and then Jason gets his last.
Andy, you can sit out for the rest of this.
Can I take?
Can I take lasers?
That's pretty cool.
I don't know when he went out of order.
I didn't go out of order with lasers.
I'm pretty darned.
When he said lasers, I was like, is it really your pick?
I had that thought then.
So I'm pretty confident.
I bet a dollar.
I take responsibility for not keeping you on track.
I blame Mike.
Mike's usually the one that, like, is on top of it.
Look, if you can sneak picks in, that's allowed.
All right.
I will agree on.
I tend to agree.
I tend to agree.
If you can sneak it in and you don't get caught before the next pick is made,
that's an official pick.
And the way he.
rule from now on on spitballers.
And the way he wrote it up, it looks like I got five
picks. Yes. You
have fire, stars, lasers,
bioluminescent,
and animals. And animals who bring
a lot of light to this world.
Mike, two more
picks. Okay.
Hmm. Hmm.
Bioluminescence
messing me up.
Why?
Because I had a particular animal
that makes light.
Who was it now that you can't drive?
Are there some bioluminescent jellyfish?
Yes, but I was, I don't know if he's, he or she, I don't, it, bioluminescent, but the, I won't, this is not an official pick, but it was, I was talking angler fish.
Yeah, that's what we brought up for the bioluminescent.
I said that.
But he's not really bioluminescent.
Sure.
Whatever about that.
Make the tricks.
So I am going to take, we're going to go with fireworks.
We're going to put fireworks.
up on there. That's not bad. That's great. That's an explosion. Lights up the sky. Yep.
Over and over. Tell us more. So about these these fireworks, they make a loud bang and then shower the sky with sparkles. How hot are they though? They're hotter than the sun. Obviously. It might be. It depends on most things are. Most things are. Most things are hotter than the sun. It depends on the color, but in temperature. Okay. So we're going to go with that. And, man, look at this guy with all these picks.
And then we're going to, uh, well, this will keep lighting up the night.
We'll take the...
Oh, you're going firefly?
No.
Okay.
Sorry.
I thought that's what you're going.
That makes sense with lighting up the night.
Go ahead, Mike.
No, we're going with the, volcano.
We're going with the northern lights, aka the Aurora Borealis.
Okay.
Yeah, that's cool.
It's a good pick.
Thank you.
I'm not sure.
I'm not sure where it comes from if it's from the sun and you're stealing some of
Jason's like, uh...
It's a little bit stealing of these.
That's like if you did moon.
It's the, no, no, no.
It's not, no, the moon is just, golly.
The moon doesn't create light.
The moon is just, the mirror.
I'm quite aware, that's my point.
That was my entire point.
That was Aurora Barriallis comes from the sun.
But it's not a reflection.
Everything comes from the sun.
So if it's not a reflection, not light bulbs, Jason.
Yeah, we wouldn't have light bulbs without the sun.
This has gone terrible.
People go to the sun and they take a little.
This is gone fantastic.
I know I have my four picks, thankfully.
I'm locked and loaded.
I can't wait to see what your fifth is.
Jason, you get to close us out as I'm skipped because I stole one.
Oh, man.
That's the first time that's ever happened.
What other pick?
What episode?
I mean, that's what it says.
Shut it down.
I'm going to take my time on this one.
Sun light bulbs flashlight.
Boy, going from sun to light bulbs, you really, you really let us down on that.
I was.
I was definitely going to take fireworks.
So that stinks.
Huh. Yeah.
You really downplayed it when I took that pick.
Well, yeah, because it wasn't mine.
I mean, come on.
You can, you can admire my pick.
I admire your picks when they're good.
I told Mike his first two are the best I've ever seen.
And you were like, that pick's not very good.
Can I interest you in some matches?
Yeah.
I'm taking matches.
Give them matches.
Put it on the board.
Oh, man.
I know how to win these every time.
Oh, man.
Get six, seven picks.
How did he get eight?
picks. I'm all out of things. No, TVs. I'm going to take, uh, I'm going to take the worst thing
to see. You might think staring at the sun. Meteor. Is bad. Bole of diarrhea. Oh. Okay.
Second worst thing to see. Police lights. Oh. You don't want those in the rear view.
Which. Which. So the last three you picked were light bulbs. Things that produce light. Yes.
I'm just making sure.
I just heard for the first time ever.
So I want to pull the room if you've ever heard this,
referring to police lights as cherries and berries.
No.
Nope.
But I love it.
And I was like,
I've never heard that,
but that's awesome.
You're like,
it was like,
I was at this,
blah,
blah,
it was just all these cars here.
And it was like,
it was just full cherries and berries.
Never heard it.
I'm like,
that's incredible.
We'll do a draft for things you call police officers on the next,
on the next.
Maybe not. Maybe not.
So, wait, I got seven or eight things. Do we get matches up? They're cool.
Cool, cool, cool. Honorable mentions, I had a glow sticks.
Was a close. Yeah, glow sticks was very close. And fireflies. How did you, how did you think fireflies was lame, Mike?
I didn't think it was lame. I just had a different pick. Headlights, of course, street lights, all sorts of light bulbs, guys. I can come up with so many light bulbs.
If there's one thing he knows, this guy knows bulbs.
Christmas lights
Okay
Mike
anything else or we're good
The welding torch
Oh lightsabers would have been good
If it was not real
It does create light in that universe
It's a
Dude it's so far
Throw it on the board for me
Lightsabers please
It's so far far away
Give him lightsay
You wouldn't even believe
How far away it was
You can pick both sons of tattooing
Yeah that'd be a problem
Yeah
What did we learn today?
You don't have to go in order, dude.
I learned that if you go out of order.
He got lightskeepers?
Yeah, we put it on the board.
You guys didn't stop it.
That if you go out of order and don't get caught, you get to keep your pick.
I learned that Andy thinks the moon produces lights.
No, no, no, no.
Honestly, I learned that lightning has a stupid temperature rating because people say it's hotter than the sun.
Don't get struck by lightning, Jay.
I won't.
I promise.
Okay.
Goodbye.
Bye.
