How do we get better?
First of all, you don't get better by comparing yourself to someone else.
You get better by setting your benchmarks and then comparing yourself to yourself.
That's right.
You need to be a little bit vulnerable, hold up the mirror and go, where am I and where
do I want to get to?
Now let's talk about how do we get better.
We get better by measuring all the parts of our life, everything in our life.
So write down 10 parts of your life. Where am I at on each one of those? Be descriptive and then say,
how can I get 1% better in each of those things? What little one thing can I change every day
to be a tiny bit better? Now take those tiny bit better steps, all 10 of them,
and make that your to-do list for each day. guess what? In a few days, you're going to
start to see yourself getting better. Build those into your micro habits that create macro
improvements in your life. That's how we get better and we get used to getting better,
which holistically starts this momentum and this flow of us getting better as a human being
in life, in business, in our relationships, spiritually, financially, and you're going to be a lot happier. That's your quick win for the day.
