You're listening to Quick Wins with Adam Kantos.
How many failures does it take to make a success?
No, it's not a math problem.
It's a real problem.
The reality is most people don't succeed the first time they try something.
In fact, Henry Ford failed like five times before he got Ford Motor Company running. And frankly, it's one of the best automotive
manufacturers out there. Whether or not you like Fords, they didn't take any government bailout or
anything like that. They actually run an awesome business after failing five times. Also, think
about this one, Thomas Edison. It took him a thousand times to
get the light bulb to light. He failed a thousand times. He says he just found a thousand ways he
couldn't make it work. So before you stop trying, just understand it's not done after one failure.
Keep trying. Success happens after a lot of failures. That's your quick win for the day.
