Is this person miserable? Are they dangerous? Are they conflicted in some way? Or are they happy, graceful, welcoming, friendly?

Your attitude means a lot as a leader. When you walk into a room, people are going to look, are you smiling or are you grimacing and frowning? Do you have that RBF face? We all know what that means. The resting bad face, I guess you could say. People notice this stuff. Your nonverbal communication is about 90% of how people read you and your leadership presence. I teach a class on leadership presence for a local university where I teach executive MBA students. And while appearance, polish, and grooming is important, your attitude is even more important

because people want to know if they want to be connected to you because of how your attitude is. It all comes down to attitude.
