So today is all things of value come with a cost.
That is deep.
That is deep.
So what does that mean?
And when you think about it, a lot of people
want free or easy, right?
Yeah.
That's really what people want in life.
They don't want to have to
put forth the effort or the equity, whatever it might be, either cash or time or energy, muscle,
hard work, things like that. They don't want to put that forth in order to gain something.
And this is a big difference between those that truly achieve in life and those that are just kind of
there. And if you look around, those that truly achieve are willing to lean into whatever they're
trying to achieve. They find items of value and they're willing to pay the price for those.
That's a choice that they make. They look at it and they go, I want to be healthy.
I'm going to get up early. I'm going to stay up late, whatever it might be. I'm going to eat healthy, which by the way, I don't know anybody who loves
eating healthy. It's just what you do because you want the results. Right. And then over time,
you do it so much that it becomes that habit in your body and your brain where you feel good
about it. So you start liking things. Yeah. So, you know, I mean, does anybody truly like broccoli?
And a lot of people go, I love broccoli.
Yeah, because you started eating broccoli
and you go, I love this, and you convince yourself of it.
Same thing with push-ups.
Everybody, I mean, are doing push-ups fun?
No.
No.
No, and it's, I mean, burpees, whatever.
No, but you know what happens?
It works out your body.
It exercises your body.
It makes you healthy. All these things play together. Same thing with like sales. Same thing with,
you know, an artist painting a painting. You know, you get paint everywhere. It's dirty. It
smells, whatever. But at the end you go, ah, I love that. What was the cost of creating that?
It was time. It was energy. It was effort. And you go, I'm satisfied. So the satisfaction of that creates the value. And that is why people put in
the effort. So don't look for free. Don't look for cheap. Don't look for easy. Look for value.
So I guess you could say overnight success is not overnight success. Overnight success is overnight working your butt off over and over and over again. People look at it and
they see the results, but they don't see the effort. And they see the value, but they don't
see the cost. Everything that has value has cost. So put in the effort. Understand there is no
overnight success. There's no quick result to anything.
And that's what creates value.
Good choices, hard effort and paying the price to get the better.
