Starting point is 00:00:00 You're listening to Quick Wins with Adam Kantos. So Mark, here's the quick win for today. OK. Think to yourself, if everybody in your space, let's say you're running a race. So your space is a sprint. OK? Everybody has the same goal.
Starting point is 00:00:21 What is that? That's to win the race, right? Yeah. So if you've got like eight people all participating in this, who gets to win? It's not the person necessarily because everybody that's involved in this is relatively equal. Let's say if it's not a race, it might be a sale where one person gets picked to sell the product or something like that. Or in real estate, it might be there are eight offers on a particular property. What gets you there?
Starting point is 00:00:50 It's not just the fact that you are in it. So you're not dividing it up by the individual. What decides that are the systems and actions that you've put in place to get you there? So for instance, on the race, it is, did you spend an extra hour, two hours, day, two days, one month, whatever it is, training for that race above and beyond what those other people did? Did you put in the hours
Starting point is 00:01:16 that they did not practicing your craft? Same thing with a sale. Did you put in the extra time practicing your craft to connect with the other side of that sale in order to win that deal and put in the extra time practicing your craft to connect with the other side of that sale in order to win that deal and spent that little extra time? So it's not the race that determines the winner. It's the time put in before the race that determines the winner. That's solid. And it kind of calls back to one of our episodes about, are you an agent or a business, right? That's right. Because you call yourself an agent doesn't mean you're a business.
Starting point is 00:01:46 Yep. Have you created mastery in your craft by spending that extra time practicing? Yeah, I love that. All right. That's our quick one for today. Thanks, Adam.
