I'm a 24 year old teacher. I'm a lot younger than all the other teachers in my school So it's been pretty cool because like the students seem to like me They seem to connect with me really well, and that's a good thing, but Recently it looks like it's been a little too much where like they start to reach out to me on social media and trying to friend me on Facebook and they're trying to figure out my discord. They found my B-real too so they're trying to add me on B-real. Anyway, so like they're cool students and I want to be cool but I also kind of want to draw a line between like I'm also a teacher. Yeah

But I think all social media, I mean, we were growing up just, social media sort of started to be a thing

and Or even like you know I just had you know being younger Just knowing people that were in school even when you were in college College even a college where it's like college social media was taking off and I feel like professors made it a point To not be accessible there, and I think the reality is you got a fucking you cannot You're young you just started teaching It sounds like you need to understand that like you cannot have a digital footprint these kids can find Yeah, and you're gonna have to use social media less you're gonna have to be private on everything

You're gonna have to just like that's to me That's the line and if if you want to have some kind of online relationship outside of school with them I think keep it something professional like email And let it let it be clear that when they are emailing you they're emailing their teacher They're not emailing their buddy fucking Dan or whatever the fuck.
