Welcome to Cafesito and Croquettas, a morning show hosted by Stay Tranquilo and Aachenco.
Today we're with Armando Hernandez, the CEO of Aachenco, and we want to provide kind of an opportunity to talk about what this partnership looks like and what the intent of this show is going to highlight.
One of the big things that we want to focus on is interviewing industry leaders in South Florida, being able to tell their stories and provide a platform to be able to showcase the success that they've had in their industries.
Today I want to be able to speak to Armando and kind of talk a little bit about what the intent of this partnership looks like and what the value that comes from something like this.
And teach me a little bit more about what a podcast is and everything.
Absolutely.
Because I'm here to learn from you.
He's a natural already.
No, no.
So the idea is more than anything else, this is an idea.
And it was not my idea.
It was a cast idea.
And basically when they told me, let's do a podcast, you know, I don't know much about it.
it. I run a business, so I'm trying to learn more every day about what is new, what is coming
into the market. So what I did is I did research as to how do we do this, who is the best,
you know, person that we can do it with or the best team. And that's when we decided to go
with a stay tranquil because you guys have the knowledge. And what we wanted to do is bring to
live the stories of many of the clients we have. And I think there is nobody better than stay
Tranquillo to bring those stories because you have been doing it for three years already.
Absolutely. Yeah, we've been doing this for a while and we have a very loyal and engaged
audience. Very specific to South Florida, obviously being born and raised in Miami. Our core is
South Florida. And it's now national reach, right? I mean, you're talking about the Texas is
New York, California, this larger scale opportunity that the state Tranquillo brand essentially
represents across so many different places. But Miami is a
our core and it's in our identity. And to your point, to be able to speak to some of the best
that have been here in Miami and tell their stories, one of the reasons why I started this was
I realized there was so much talent and so many amazing people down here, but not a platform
for them to be able to tell their stories. And that's basically what we're looking for.
We're looking for a platform where our clients that have done really well has added a lot
of value to South Florida. They can bring into your show and you can bring those stories to life.
And that's what I want.
I mean, and if you tell me an idea is great,
but not only you bring that idea into reality,
and I think that's what we're going to do together.
And not going to be the one that is going to be interviewing anybody.
I just want to make that clear.
But I know a lot of people in Miami.
And there is no better way to bring to life an idea
that by drinking coffee in Miami.
That's the way you do it.
That's the way we do it.
Like, we do it by drinking coffee.
And everybody that knows me, they know that we talk about coffee a lot, especially, you know, Cuban coffee.
But more than anything, that's what we want to bring.
I'm looking for a platform where I can tell my clients to come.
I have a great client that had done and added a lot of value to South Florida,
create a lot of jobs.
But not only the entrepreneurs, also the professionals.
We have a lot of professionals that we work with.
We have a lot of people like, you know, doctors that they're working.
every day to have value to the community.
And that's what I want to bring.
I want to bring them here to see how we can help the new generation
to learn from those ideas from like the stories.
And nobody's better than to do that, that you guys.
Absolutely.
We're excited.
I think it brings a ton of value not only to the people coming on,
but the listeners as well, right?
We have at this point across the whole network,
over 10 million views a month that we're able to reach, right,
across all our talent and the access of other pieces of content
that we can kind of blend in to all of this, right?
because Stay Tranquillo is the core of all of this, right?
It's the mantra that we choose to live by.
But to your point, Cafacito and Croquettes is what brings us together,
and that's where this comes to life.
And basically, and what we do is, like,
we have been in business in South Florida since 1992.
So we have seen the transformation of South Florida from the 80s.
I mean, that was here, like, in the 80s,
and I saw, like, nobody wanted to invest in Miami in the 80s.
Then we opened the practice in 1992.
Two, we saw people coming from South Florida, I mean from South America, like Venezuela and Colombia coming to invest here.
But it was not at the level that is today.
And we have seen all that transformation.
And we have many clients that have lived the transformation.
Many clients that have added a lot of value.
And I think my role in this partnership is going to be to bring those people here.
And then your role would be to bring those stories to life.
And that's the way I see the partnership.
And if you ask me why, you know, you, why, I'm going to tell you from my perspective,
I do business with people that I can trust, only with people that I can trust.
Everything else to me is important, but not at the level of trust.
And I think from the interaction that I have with you, with your team, with all the partners that you have here,
I did some background check too.
I'm not going to get into business with anybody that I have not checked into.
And I recommend all my clients that when you go into business with anybody, you have a signed agreement.
We signed an agreement already.
So we have done everything in our part to make sure that this venture that we put in together is going to work for you.
It's going to work for us.
It's going to work for our clients.
Absolutely.
We're extremely excited and very grateful for the opportunity to work with you all.
And we're excited for the guests that you're able to bring to us.
Because more than anything, I know I'm going to be able to learn.
and I hope our audience as well is able to learn.
We always can learn from everybody.
We always learn, especially from people that have worked for so many years in the community.
And I think the new generation is in a better position that the old generation.
And if they can learn from the old generation, they're going to do much better,
and that's going to be your job.
Absolutely.
To try to bring those stories, try to get as much information, like, you know, what they have done right,
how they can help the new.
We have a lot of clients where they do a succession, like, you know, like from one generation to the other.
Right.
So I can bring you the father and the song and see how are they doing it so we can learn from them.
And all the people that are in the same situation can learn how you transfer a business from one generation to the other.
It's not easy, but there are things that we can learn from them.
Absolutely.
And that I can speak firsthand.
I see it with a lot of my friends where their parents' businesses are being passed down to them.
and they learn, you know, but there's a different dynamic where they're ambitious and they want to kind of add their own twists to the business, but is that the right decision, right?
So these are the type of conversations that I think we're able to bring here.
I think it would be great for everybody.
Absolutely.
For everybody.
So tell me why should your clients at H&CO come onto Cafesito and Crocatas?
I think we have been looking for a platform where they, you know, we bring them and we share the knowledge that they have.
And I think they're not going to only be sharing that knowledge with you, but we're going to be promoting their businesses.
The number of downloads that you have, the number of, you know, in social media, the position that you have put, stay tranquil, will benefit them big time.
It's not only that we're going to benefit from the knowledge, we want it to promote their businesses.
Absolutely.
Because I think this is a two-way.
So I know we already have a lot of people that have requested to be on the show
So you know they heard that we're doing this and they already call me
And I know the budget is limited because as a good businessman I don't want to go crazy
But we're going to have we're going to try to have two shows a week
And and basically it's going to be limited because we have a lot of clients
But what we're going to do is you know first come first you know like that's the way we're going to
going to, whoever volunteered to come here, that's who's going to be first on the show.
But we have some people already, so I think they're going to benefit.
Oh, yeah.
Again, it's a platform to not only tell your story, but to your point, amplify your brand
and tell the people exactly what your business can do so that the audience maybe has a chance
to engage with your business and utilize your services, utilize your product, whatever that may be.
And we've seen it firsthand with a lot of the guests that we've had on and co-host
We've seen multiple scenarios where brands have thrived and had opportunities to succeed by just coming on the show.
A crazy example actually is a buddy of mine, and he's in the pallet business.
And I remember when I was interviewing, going to interview him, I'm like, what am I going to talk about with this guy for 45 minutes about pallets?
Right.
And very similar situation.
Dad started the business.
He took over and has done an amazing job since he's kind of taken over this.
And I think only by listening to what he's going through, we can learn.
Exactly.
You know, how difficult is to have a business and do the transition to a new generation.
What you go through, if you look at it, that is a hardware study that many business don't do well when they do the association, you know, from one generation to the other.
So if we can help and improve the success rate for the new generation to take over the business,
and you can capture that information
and transfer that information to the unit.
Absolutely.
I mean, only one that we save,
I think we're doing an amazing job.
But more than anything else,
the way I look at it, from our perspective,
I mean, we want to, you know,
like everybody's in social media,
everybody wanted to be out there,
everybody wanted to, you know,
increase their exposure into what they're doing.
For me, it's more about one thing.
I live my life by a simple principle.
Help one person a day.
So, like, and it's not about, you know, like, how do we help one person a day?
And everybody in the office knows about this, and I push, you know, try to help one person a day.
So I feel with this, we're going to be helping two families and everybody that is listening
and everybody that is learning from what you're going to do here.
Absolutely, yeah.
The goal is always with the intent of helping people.
And that's the foundation of one stay tranquil was born.
So it's a perfect fit to be able to do something like this.
because we have a lot of things in common.
That's what we hear.
I mean, after interacting with you, with your partner,
and, you know, like, it has been only a few months,
but we share a lot of the same belief.
We share about the same principles.
And you guys all come from great families in Miami.
So I'm really proud to be doing this with you
and be able to help you, to help you,
stay tranquil, anything that I can do to make sure
that you guys do really well,
That's going to be my job, not only in the podcast that we're doing together, but anything else that you're doing.
Thank you.
We see it.
And I know the first time I ever went into the office, you guys offered me Cafesito, so I knew it was going to be a good start.
Yeah, yeah.
I mean, in Miami, everybody does business with Cafesito.
100%.
If you don't, then you're not from Miami.
You're going to be able to do this not only here, but you're going to be able to do this in Versailles.
You're going to be able to do this in any cafeteria in Miami where they have a Ventanita.
you're going to be able to, like, we can do this in many places.
So it doesn't have to be here.
And for any client that can not make it all the way here,
because we have clients that are really busy,
I know you're willing to go to their office.
Absolutely.
And we can have the show in their office.
We can talk about the business.
You can record about the business.
And we can help with the whole process.
Absolutely.
And we love doing that because it's a great way to not only showcase the person,
but it's showcase the business, right?
Imagine being at their office, being at their facilities,
like going back to that palette,
our backdrop was thousands of pallets behind us.
But that's beautiful.
They got to see the operation in real hand,
and it actually looked great.
And ironically enough,
that when the post went on LinkedIn,
he calls me two weeks later,
and he's like,
brother,
you're not going to believe this.
This client that I've been trying to close forever,
heard the podcast.
He loved the story,
and he just put in order in with this.
I was like, incredible.
So I think that's what we're trying to accomplish here.
What we're trying to accomplish here is to bring
those successful people
that have been adding value
to make, you know, building and creating
value for South Florida, bring
their stories to life. Absolutely.
And it's a dream, you know,
for everybody to open a business.
It's not easy to open a business
in Miami and South Florida.
It's not easy to open a business
anywhere. But if in any
way we can help anybody opening
a new business to have a better
chance of making the business
and taking them to the next level,
I think that we will be accomplishing a lot here.
Absolutely.
Helping one person every day.
100%.
I think it's simple.
I think what we want is the new generation to continue to dream
and to come out with ideas and to execute those ideas here in South Florida.
I love Miami.
I love South Florida.
So anything that I can do for South Florida, that's what I wanted to do.
And that's the reason we're doing this together.
Awesome.
Well, we appreciate it.
And we're very excited to get this off the ground.
and we're excited for everybody to enjoy this in partnership with H&CO and stay
tranquill.
It's going to be great.
Thank you.
