Starting point is 00:00:00 Let's do it. I love that news. Oh yeah? I've had these dominoes, bro. They've gone to the ringers. These things are dirty as well. Oh, let me tell you, but you can tell these. They look loved.
Starting point is 00:00:19 They've been taking care of, though. The box is falling in before. That is a great sound. Yeah. I got sound for my childhood. I'm definitely feeling the vibe right now. I'm in Kayo, Cho. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Domino style. Yeah, that's actually a first, never played Domino's in Gaiocho. No. Domino Park, that shit I hear gets heated. Oh, bro. I'm not prepared for that. I'm not prepared for that. Like, I'm actually intimidated.
Starting point is 00:00:47 Yeah, yeah, they don't mess around over there. How about some people say, bro, we should have you playing in Domino Park to get some content, like with the vehicles and something? Like, are you kidding? Don't eat me alive. When Jimmy got signed by the heat, that's where he went. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The whole shoot over there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:02 Jimmy actually loves Domino's. He's always posting that shit there. It would be like playing my willow again, bro, just nervous. And sweaty. Yeah. You say one thing and they're going to be like, yeah, what the fuck? Yeah, wait, you mess up. What are you?
Starting point is 00:01:13 Yeah, that's all. No, that's even, even. Yeah, six. My math. I was like, damn it, bro. They didn't give me easy math. Blood, dude. What do you got, Corey?
Starting point is 00:01:27 You got one or not I got one to have? You could go. Yeah. Salida. Eight or six, eight or six, eight or six. Let's kill Salida, you know? Can't let it get around. The whole lake.
Starting point is 00:02:04 You may the whole lake. I already got two doubles up. That's what I? Two or four, two or four. One versus. Everyone's very focused right now. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I haven't played it so long.
Starting point is 00:02:50 I got this. I'm trying to so evaluate what I got, like, here to even want that I want to even get going. And I'm like, I'm not, I'm not feeling anything right now. What do we think about the fence today? Ooh. If you ask me, I always think we're going to win. I'm not going to tell you. You know, I'm not a fan, man.
Starting point is 00:03:09 What are you? Oh. You know worse? Yeah. Right now, yeah. Cowboys, man. Oh, wow. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:17 We did a clip on time, and it was about who's the most irrational fan base. Is it dolphins or? It's got to be cowboys, right? Everyone's like, you know how the usual, like, bro, you're from Miami, you're a Cowboys fan? So I'm everything in Miami, but the Dolphins. Okay. I fucking hate the dolphin.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Oh, damn. What about the other sports? Listen, it's because, like, when my, whatever, grandpa and everyone came from Cuba, there was America's team in, like, yeah. Yeah. Especially in the 90s, 80s. Cowboys were, like, dominated. So, like, bro, I was born into a cowboy's helmet.
Starting point is 00:03:53 And then I would tell people that and then they'll be like, okay. And I'm like, if I'm a Cowboys fan now, I'm a real Cowboys fan. Yeah, it's been rough for a little while. It is America's team, but it's also like, uh, I would tell people. What's that lineup? It's like you're a Lakers fan, a Cowboys fan. Basketball, I think, is, well, basketball's Lakers. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:11 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The triphics. If you're that guy, I don't trust your fan. You're a LeBron. Is it my turn? I threw, I think you threw this, right?
Starting point is 00:04:24 That was me. Yeah. So it's on you. That's me. But yeah, man. It's been rough for the Cowboys, too. It does. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:30 It's brutal. I can't believe the fans are even in this situation. right now. It's tough, bro. We're up hill uphill climb right. I just don't understand. You got, at least you guys, you lost DAC in the middle of the year. So, like, your season was pretty much washed after that. Even though it was already bad before that, but
Starting point is 00:04:46 we lost two or two. We did, but we have them now. We have them, but those games that we lost him, I think we would have won. The Cardinals game, I was at that game. I think we would have won if we had two. Well, we had, that was his first game back. Oh, you're right, you're right. So it was like the three games before that. Yeah, yeah. It was the Colts game. Colts. Patriots did he play in that game, which we won that one.
Starting point is 00:05:06 And then we lost to the Titans. The Titans. That shit, fucking. It was rough. That was Snoop's first game back. Was that the, oh, no, no. Those were rough to watch, bro. Those were rough.
Starting point is 00:05:16 Those were rough to Scottor Thompson's. Just no offense at all. It's like what we were talking about earlier. It's just like the office is like too complex with someone who just come in and run it like that. Oh, yeah. 100%. I mean, that system was built for a guy like to, uh. Bro, there's, maybe.
Starting point is 00:05:29 Yeah. Hey, you're packed of sixes over there. Loaded, bro. I'm glad you noticed. I'm glad you noticed. I'm running out of options out here. Yeah. I was looking at Cori in the beginning.
Starting point is 00:05:40 You got to sell you because if not. Yeah. I got you, I got you, dog. That's why I was like, I can't let that get back around to you. My grandpa was the opposite. My grandfather hated Jerry Jones, bro.
Starting point is 00:05:55 Like, my old old, that he died hating Jerry Jones. So that's why. I grew up in that and I, bro, we went to the old stadium, the new stadium. Oh, wow. I remember seeing like Emmett.
Starting point is 00:06:07 Yeah. And Troy, When I was like, I don't know, five, six. And I became like diehard, for sure. Yeah. I'll be the first. But everything else, don't worry. Like, you, Marlins, unfortunately.
Starting point is 00:06:21 We just traded Lizardo. I saw that on the way here. To the Phillies of all people, bro. To the Philly for like two picks. I've seen the story before. Yeah. Here we go again. It breaks it.
Starting point is 00:06:31 Anyone that's good. Gone. See you. I'll be the first. I'll be the first one. Hey, there we go. Yeah, I was born into a Dolphins. Me too.
Starting point is 00:06:45 I was like, I had pictures when I was like one year old with a Dolphins shirt. My dad was huge Dolphins fan, huge, huge, huge. And my family, my older, everybody. So I played football and I was always on the Dolphins. And man, I mean, you see I'm wearing the Dolphus hat right now. What's Kendall? Whether, what's up? Was Kendall?
Starting point is 00:07:05 No, no, no, no. Oh, that was Kendall, Dolphins? That was my rival. Yeah, we did. I played the PSN. TAMB. Oh, Tammy Ammy, though. I was at Kethel.
Starting point is 00:07:12 Kempel. P.S. Pons Springs North. So I played at Miami Lakes Optimus. Yeah. Nice. I grew up in Highalia, Miami Lakes by North. Literally, I lived by Flanagan.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Okay. I was scared to set up the night. I go to Optimus all the time. I grew up in PSN. And I live right now close to Optimus, like right behind the El House. Oh yeah, yeah. On, on, on. No, when I go, I go.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Is my goal? Yeah. I do a lot of like training and all that in, you know, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, we're getting, we're getting, Yeah, we're getting tight here. I'm going to have to knock.
Starting point is 00:07:47 Ooh. Oof. No. We're connected, bro. Looking bad, Corey. He's looking bad, dog. It's like, yeah. We done.
Starting point is 00:08:03 Oh. Oh, Corey. Okay. My guy. No. No. No. Corey, I hope you're low.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Fuck me. Wow, he got a. Yeah. Look at this. Damn. Oh, and you're, I was loaded, bro. Thank God.
Starting point is 00:08:19 I was loaded. They got three. I thought we had that in the bag. For three. I couldn't unload that five for that. I mean, let me keep score here. Guys saved everything. Hey, we only got three.
Starting point is 00:08:28 We're good. We're good. Nothing happened. Three zero. It's a baseball score right now. Yeah. Keep a low. One of the worst.
Starting point is 00:08:36 One of the worst. One of the worst. They had 98. I was like, oh, no. You're good. We didn't want one more game, we didn't want one more game, bro. Oh, my.
Starting point is 00:08:45 We blew it. You ever, you ever got here with a poillon? What is that? Oh, yeah. Oh, 100 zero? 100 years? No, never. That's happened to me, man.
Starting point is 00:08:53 Oh my God, God, that's kind of rough. That's brutal, that's embarrassing. No, yeah, that's like one game and you're done? Yeah, that's like rough. Oh, you're talking about one game? Yeah. Not getting-no, no, no, I'm saying over the course of, like you never win a game.
Starting point is 00:09:07 Oh, got you, got you. Yeah. Oh, no. That's probably out there, honestly. But yeah, it is embarrassing. I call it like polona. That's horrible. If you have it, we can walk to Domino Park really fast.
Starting point is 00:09:18 Yeah. And all of us will get boyonas. Yeah. That's a fact. That didn't sound right. Yeah, I know what I mean. You know, but it's good to be back in Miami. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:09:38 So when does that other season start now? And April's when I report up there. So I'm here for a good four or five months of Cuban food. Here for a good time. Yeah. Nice. And where you going? To Virginia, so like the North Pole.
Starting point is 00:09:52 The North Pole. But at least when you go, it's April. So it'll be like spring. It's like spring. I'm traveling every weekend, like playing all over the States. But like Monday through Friday, Monday through Thursday, I'll be in Virginia. Okay. I'm going to be back here too, bro.
Starting point is 00:10:08 Nashville was getting a little cold. Well, I play in Nashville. Yeah, I can't wait for that. No, Nashville's when you're there, you've got to hit me up. No, no, for sure. You got to hit me. I will. You have to go to that game.
Starting point is 00:10:16 For sure. Do you live in Nashville for the most part? Yeah. Yeah, full time? Yeah, I mean, I spent a lot of time down here. Dude, my family's still here, but I do spend most of my time in Nashville. Makes sense. Country capital.
Starting point is 00:10:28 Country capital. My parents were there last weekend. I was moving apartments and stuff. They were helping me. My dad calls Nashville the wall. Like, you guys here, see if Gamer Throws. Yeah, yeah. So he said, every time I head back,
Starting point is 00:10:40 they'd get hit back to the wall. Go service seconds. That's hilarious. I know that place. Yeah, now the, now's when winter's brutal over there. Well, I'll tell you one thing about, because I went to go play. I went from Hialeah to West Virginia
Starting point is 00:10:52 to play in college. So that was a culture shock, but I freaking love Linguangas now. So when I go to Nashville, I'm like, oh, any excuse to go there? No, and Broadway, Broadway has the best, like, collection. Yeah, yeah. Because they come from all over the nation. Yeah, it's like everyone.
Starting point is 00:11:08 They're there for a bachelor's party. Actually and party central. Yeah, yeah. I've never been. I've never been. I've got to go. Now that I know you, I'll hit you all when I'm invisible there. It's a good time, bro.
Starting point is 00:11:17 I don't think I've dated a girl from Miami since. That's, it changed me. We did a. We did a trip, like, what was it, the last year of Brian Flores. And when we won one in seven, and then we went on that seven-game winning streak. So we played Monday night in New Orleans the week before New Year's. So I think it was like the day after Christmas. So we left to New Orleans the day after Christmas, watched us play in the dome in New Orleans.
Starting point is 00:11:47 Oh, nice. One there. And then drove to Nashville and watched us play in Tennessee, which ended up being like a rain. snow game kind of thing. And then that was one we lost. That one was miserable, but no game was miserable. I was that game. Was that a playoff game or that was a game to make it?
Starting point is 00:12:02 It was week 17. So we had to keep winning because we were on a seven-game winning streak or whatever it was. Went there, but it was miserable. It was miserable. No, like it was right before Mike McDaniel came. That was when the whole narrative with Tua couldn't play in the phone and that started because he had a bad game. I just remember one long.
Starting point is 00:12:17 Yeah, he fumbled in that game. All I remember is one long throw to waddle. And it sticks out of my mind because I remember that was a one long play that we had that game. No, we didn't do shit in that game. That was it. The reps were terrible in that game. Yeah, horrible.
Starting point is 00:12:27 And that was a miserable game to be. Yeah, bro, the rain and the cold. I was sitting all the way up there. You're like, miserable, bro. I'm drinking fucking whiskey to try to keep myself warm, but then I'm, like, depressed and drinking. So then I was like,
Starting point is 00:12:39 this shit sucks. I'm sitting next to my father. You know, my brother, we're all at the game. And my family was on Broadway drinking. They were like, we're not going to go. Yeah, yeah. We're not going to that game. You guys have fun.
Starting point is 00:12:47 We're sitting there like, what are we doing? What are we doing here? We left in the third quarter. We left in the third quarter. We left in the third quarter. Fuck this, let's go to the bars and just drink our asses. And it starts snowing like crazy. In Buffalo or crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:58 I want to go there. And people be out there with no shirts on. And it looks fun on TV. But again, I'm like, yo, I'm warm here watching it. I'm good watching it. I'm good. Yeah. We did the Kansas City playoff game last year.
Starting point is 00:13:10 You went? Oh my God. Yeah, it was like negative 23 degrees or some shit. Bro. That was insane. That was actually insane. I got cold listening to that. I lived in Massachusetts for one year, close to Boston, a little city called, well, up there.
Starting point is 00:13:22 It's pretty big, but it's called Worcester. And I had family up there. And so I lived up there for a year. So I went to the Dolphins game up there. And, man, it was freezing. I mean, living up there for the year was always cold. Yeah, yeah. And I moved back because the cold wasn't for me.
Starting point is 00:13:35 I can't live in the cold. No, bro. When I come back here, it's when I'm like, dude, this is the best place is in the world. It's been my element. Yeah. It's that the winter's never ending up there. And you don't see the sun. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:45 I remember that one year. It was like, it started in November. And since I was from Miami, it was, like, cool for the first week. It's like, man, this is beautiful, the snow. And I was like, when does it end? Because every day I woke up and it was like five degrees. It was four degrees. It was cool.
Starting point is 00:13:58 It was cool. You're like, oh, okay. Like my mom, when she went to visit me, she, there was like, you know how the leaves turn purple or red? Yeah. She was putting in her purse. I'm like, what do you do? Just found like the rarest in every scene. You know what's funny?
Starting point is 00:14:12 I took a picture. I remember taking a picture of a yellow leaf and be like, wow, like a yellow, like a real fall. Such a Miami thing. That's what I'm not. You're not from anywhere. It does get old, though. Like, the seasons are nice. It's nice to see fall.
Starting point is 00:14:24 It's nice to see winter. But like you said, February comes rolling around. Yeah, then you're like, then you don't want to leave your bed, bro, to go to the gym. Yeah, exactly. And you're like, going to shower. I had a little affordable here. I would take everywhere with me. To my bedroom, to a shower, to my bedroom to a shower.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Oh, I got a shower. The shower is the worst fucking part. Yeah. Imagine here in Miami. You take a hot ice shower and then you get out and you're like, oh, no, no, fuck this. Yeah. I'm going first, right? No, I think it's them.
Starting point is 00:14:48 No, you guys. No, you guys. Yeah, so whoever wants to go first. You were me? I don't like this situation I got here. If you hit it, court, you got it. We won when you started. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:15:02 That's fair. Superstitious. I'm very super suspicious. I'm very serious. I wear the same sliding underwear. Yeah. When I played baseball, I would... But the same exact one?
Starting point is 00:15:09 I would make sure I had the same stock on the left, the same undershirt. Until I had a bad game, then it was like, all right, we got to change everybody. We got to change the whole wardrobe. I'm super superstitious. Same very. That's not like a start. Oh no. Oh no.
Starting point is 00:15:24 That's the earliest I'm not. Let's go with this guy. Let's see. Let me get out of here. I like that guy. Go ahead. Six is again. That's the six king right there.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I'm the nine king. Yeah, you do be loaded with nine. Yeah. He likes the big one. That's my kind of chip right there. Yeah, sir. Bro, did you guys see, you guys played at H.A. I played at H.A.
Starting point is 00:16:36 I played at H.A. Have you seen that place recently? No. I've been there. I heard that it's like, what's H.A. H.A. H.A. It's like, bro, where all these, like, Nestor, Machado.
Starting point is 00:16:49 It was very competitive, like, little league. Like, I went from PSM Miami Lakes. Yeah. And I was, I mean, pretty, I was good. I was there. I was like 9-10. I remember my uncle who I grew up playing in Boys Club and H.A. It was really,
Starting point is 00:17:03 nah, he needs to go to play in H-A. I think so. Right? You just do that? I just did it. Yeah. And he,
Starting point is 00:17:08 so I went to H.A. and I was like, I couldn't even hit the ball. It gives me like 9-10 years old throwing heat. Oh, they're savages. Right. So,
Starting point is 00:17:15 so I'm from Hialia. So you grow up, if you're from Hialia, you know H. You went to H. You played baseball. Gotcha. So I remember going there, bro,
Starting point is 00:17:24 and. On deck. The parents, like, it was coach pitch and the parents, bro, were lighting each other up. Like, it was so serious. Yeah. I remember playing. They don't fuck around there. Parents, like, about to fight each other.
Starting point is 00:17:35 My dad was like, fuck this. We're going to Perma Pines. This is dangerous. That's funny. What's the opposite High Elia we can go? Come up Pyreepine. We and my boy, Willie Abru was like my best friend. We ended up going to Pines and we were like the only freaking high elite kids there.
Starting point is 00:17:52 And we stood out like crazy. But, bro, HAA was. I don't know why I just thought of that. That's crazy. That's crazy. It was nuts, bro. But now, but now that place is banged up, bro. I want to like...
Starting point is 00:18:02 That's what you're saying is... Bro, like, I was like, I want to bring that place back. Why does it kind of just let it go? Bro, it's like no fields, nothing, the grass is down, you? Oh, damn. And that place is like legendary, that's sad. How old are you? I'm 29.
Starting point is 00:18:16 So, yeah, when we played there, like, it was, like, a lot of the kids that made it out of Miami that went out to playing the bigs played at HAA. Yeah. From my from my era there was a few there was a few that made it to the addiction there wait hold on hold oh wow You good good deal yeah, I jumped the gun I can't both I just Now I'll throw Look at this guy bro look at this guy's like still throwing them I got screwed Yeah, I jumped a gun and now I can knock you bro
Starting point is 00:18:47 Oh fuck I might have locked that whole side up no all I got is sad Sad Hey bro I wore this jersey this the day to the UM game and the tailgate no and i like that whole side of i knew it damn oh oh let's go baby yeah it actually worked out yeah oh oh yeah you got a lot of eights too bro yeah i wasn't really long i got nothing oh oh oh god let's go all right who we're waiting on that I was like just close the table, we'll win. All right.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Oh, my God, look at these scores, bro. Wait, is this you two? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. So, eight, ten, thirteen. Thirteen. All right, all, all right.
Starting point is 00:19:50 I'll take it. We'll take it. Take your 13. So, all right, so you wore that to the tailgate? Bro, I wore this to the tailgate, and it's a UM tailgate. So I'm, like, looking at this, um, biaho that's, like, looking at me in a wheelchair. No, yeah, it was a wheelchair. And, bro, I keep, like, looking this guy, like, I feel.
Starting point is 00:20:10 I was like, like, I was a bunch of fucking, fuck me up. I'm like, bro, either I'm like, do you know, or like, this guy keeps looking at it from his people. And he comes over, finally, he's like, bro, how are you gonna wear a U.F. jersey? And I go, bro, it's not U.F. No, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:20:29 I go, bro, it's not a U.F jersey. It's the water boy. And then people's like, yeah, been not any water boy. He probably never seen that shit. Bro, I was like, water boy. I don't know if I can wear him again.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Yeah. That's what you are gay. He's like anything that orange and blue is... That dude was looking at me. That's funny, bro. Your Gator's got a good dog this week. Yeah. I mean, it was...
Starting point is 00:20:53 It didn't look great. It wouldn't look good. I was there. Do you go to UF? Yeah. Yeah? I have one of my boys that went to UF too, and we're always going back and forth with like... We're always cranking each other with sports.
Starting point is 00:21:03 So he's all happy now. They got that quarterback that looks good. Blackway. Yeah. No, he did it? No, he did it? That fumble or touchdown was crazy. That was insane, bro.
Starting point is 00:21:15 My mom went to UF. Bro, I have a, the best game I ever played at UF, a regional game. It was three more games we win and we go to Omaha. And bro, the night before I was like, it's just like my ritual, like I had to go out. And my dad, like, picked me up from the freaking hotel, like if he was in college again.
Starting point is 00:21:37 And, bro, I was, I was. I was like expecting like nothing crazy. I think school was out. And you were in Gainesville? In Gainesville, we had the game the next day was against UF, but at like 7 p.m. like late game. So I'm like, all right, we'll go out and we'll be straight. Bro, I went out and that place was insane.
Starting point is 00:21:53 Insane still and it wasn't like school. I think we went to like that grog from that place where my dad stood out there. Like it was a very young doubt when I got there. Yeah. But bro, I had a freaking blast. We ended up going to a, bro, it was a buffalo. White Buffalo, yeah.
Starting point is 00:22:14 That place, forget about it. I remember the next day waking up like, you know, like, ready to play. A freaking rock star. That place is awesome. I remember the last time I went to that place, so I had just graduated. I was probably like, what, like 23, maybe 24. I had gone back to Gainesville and I walk into that spot.
Starting point is 00:22:31 I remember looking around like, I'm the oldest guy in here. Like, I don't belong here. I have a. It's so weird going into college sound like that. Yeah, because you're like, oh, whatever, it's just a bar. And then you're like, wow, I am like, you're getting older. That's the moment I knew I aged that. You're starting to get younger.
Starting point is 00:22:45 I don't know. They knew that I was playing against them or something, but that place was getting, me and my dad didn't pay. We spent like 20 bucks and we were freaking hammered. Oh, yeah, that's the best thing. That's the best thing about games. Well, I remember waking up the next day, like, yeah. And then I had the best game in my life. And I like, I think I, you know Brady Singers?
Starting point is 00:23:04 He's in the major. Yeah, that name sounds familiar. I hit a freaking gun off him. I robbed him. robbed one and we ended up losing like by one. Oh shit. After that, I was just like, you know, I left that place. I was like, I freaking love this.
Starting point is 00:23:16 I love games though. Every time I go there now, I'm like, bro, I love this place. So I got good. I got good memories there. Who did you play for college? I went to Marshall in West Virginia. And I transferred to J.U. Jacksonville University.
Starting point is 00:23:29 So we always played UF because it was like an hour drive. Okay. But we met in the playoffs in the regional. Gotcha. And bro, I was like, no, I've always wanted to like see how it is here. Bro, I ended up having a great good time. We'll go like a rock star again, like freaking, yo, had my coffee, I was ready to go.
Starting point is 00:23:48 And bro, I remember leaving that town like, yo, I love, I can't imagine if I went to school here. Absolutely. It's a right. It's a shit. But you played high school ball, man? Yeah. Oh, Goldman?
Starting point is 00:23:59 Yeah. I played baseball at Goldman, too. No way. 2005? No way, bro. 2004, 2005. I graduated in 2005. Victor Madraso.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Yeah. That's my dog. Yeah. I was your coach Yannis was still around at that time? Yannis was a pigeon coach. Hey, I started, yeah. Yeah, so it's you. He was there.
Starting point is 00:24:14 He was a pigeon coach and I had him for two years. And Rivas? No, no, it was Janice and Fernandez. Okay. Yeah, so I graduated from Goldman 2005. I played baseball with my sophomore to senior year. No shit, no. I never played college, but I, from, and then I got into music right after that.
Starting point is 00:24:28 Nice, so yeah, you are from my hood. Yeah, yeah. That's funny, bro. Small world. Can you take a guess what I'm going to throw? Nine. There it is. Oh.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Yeah, I'm so. It's a matter of time. Oh, whoa. Oh, okay. But I see you got, you guys got the, whoever's the talent picker for the podcast, I see, because you got the baseball player that went with the bananas and now, wait, I never know.
Starting point is 00:24:50 I'm not saying nothing. You got the country singer, you got the police officer. I used to do a rapper. So someone was like, no, let's do a podcast. I get the biggest cluster of people. We got the biggest melting part right here, bro. And put them together. I like it.
Starting point is 00:25:02 I like it. Fuck, yeah. That's awesome. Gomes Gators, baby. 20-year reunion coming up. Yeah. I'm old, bro. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:25:09 37. Yeah, they just sent me a thing for my 20-year reunion. I'm like, those exist? I just had my 10, bro. It's crazy. I feel like the last three years have been so fast. Bro, your 30s are going to fly by. I met a girl that day she's 29 years old and now and she looked like a baby to me.
Starting point is 00:25:25 That's what I'm like, I'm kidding old. If it doesn't have the three in front of you guys, you guys just talking about college, you go to college and they look so young. Now wait to me to me the 29-year-old and she looks young. That's when you're like, ah. Damn, I'm getting old. Don't tell me that, though,
Starting point is 00:25:37 is it, is it my goal? I threw... I threw the doubles, then who threw that? I threw that. No, I threw it. Oh, you just saw that?
Starting point is 00:25:45 Oh, yeah. Yeah, bro. Time flies, your 30s fly. Yeah, bro. But since that... Well, 30s are probably your best years. That's what everybody says.
Starting point is 00:25:54 Like they say. I really hope. How old are you? 28. Yeah, your 30s week. Because it's like you... You... Oh, we're in...
Starting point is 00:26:02 We're in Cajotcho. You grind through your 20s and then your 30s you kind of like thrive. Yeah. You know, that's when you reap all the benefits from all your hard work. Yeah. Not to say that it's easier, but your 30s, you know. Yeah. Because it's like you're so young, but you're like starting to make money so like you can actually like enjoy it. Bro, it sucks. When you're like 20, you're like, bro, I'm broke. But I'm broke.
Starting point is 00:26:27 The time I have fun was the Gainesville barn. $20. $20.00. That's like, you're hammered out of my heart. You're living in Miami. You're like, I can't afford shit out here. West Virginia was legit, five dollars. Like, all you can drink at these places, like quarter beers.
Starting point is 00:26:41 No, yeah. So I remember my dad the first time he went up there, it's you, right? I threw the 9-1. I threw this. This one? I remember the first time, the first year I went up there. My dad went, because I told you guys, my dad picked me up. That guy's like my best friend.
Starting point is 00:26:52 He picked me up at Gainesville, so this guy went up there. And he goes up to the front. My uncle was there, too. And he's like, yeah, let me do. Roman Kogue or something like that. And then the lady's like, it'll be like 150. And he's like, no, no, not the bottle. Like, I just want a Roman Coke.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Like, yeah, $1.50. And he's like, what? He's like, tell the whole bar, Corey, that they're about to get a Roman Coke. And I was like, oh, my God. It was like a little bar. Like, it was probably like 50 people in there. That's crazy. Bro, that lady starts lining up this thing.
Starting point is 00:27:27 And everyone, and then everyone's looking at my dad. Like, who is this guy? He's like, listen, in Miami, that's like three dreams. Yeah, bro. You do that for everyone, you could probably buy that bar there. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And he was a, I was like, how do these people make money? It was crazy.
Starting point is 00:27:43 It's crazy. The place is still there. That's insane. But I remember, bro, I'll never forget stuff. But I am thankful that I left for, like, the college experience. Yeah, I feel like a lot of people I talked to that went to the U and stuff. Yeah. It's not the same.
Starting point is 00:27:55 No. You're driving 45 minutes to Hard Rock Stadium. Yeah. Instead of games where you walk from your apartment. Yeah, exactly. A different experience. College, like having a stadium on college campus is the move. It's on me.
Starting point is 00:28:08 It's the experience, like crazy. That's why I don't know, I mean, the Keynes can't put it. I think you have been trying to figure it out. They've been wanting to, but it's just. They wanted to build it at Tropical Park, bro. Yeah. That ain't going to happen. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:22 No way. This guy, who just thought. No? No. Seven and six. Who just put the seven six? He did the seven six, yeah. But it was cool and all, and then you come back, like after you're done, right?
Starting point is 00:28:38 Like after school, you're like, you know, I need to get out of here. Of course. Yeah, you do your time. There's nothing there. Yeah. You do your time, you have your phone. Yeah, you have your season and then you come back. You get to meet new people too.
Starting point is 00:28:49 Yeah, no, it was definitely, I'm glad I did it. In the beginning, I was scared, but I was also like, I'm ready to play ball or whatever. Then I got up there and I was like having a freaking blast. That was great. Interesting. Then you come back and you're like, like the man. All the people from Goldman and all that, they're like,
Starting point is 00:29:12 yo, bro, what are you doing all there, man? I see the picture on Instagram. That's another thing, bro. That era, like, now there's NIL over there. I was, like, getting in trouble and shit. Yeah. And talk about, like, being broke and all that in your 20s. Like, bro, I was freaking not making anything.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Anything, yeah, because you're so, you have to school. Yeah. And then I'm practicing. I was doing my master's, and I was like, bro, like, I don't even know if I want to play pro ball. Right. Unless it's like a good, because, bro, that's a rough life, professional. Oh, 100%.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Bro, I've heard stories. In the bananas, we were getting paid, like, double those guys. That's insane. And we're playing three games a week. That's actually crazy. So then I was like, okay, like, I was making content and all that. And I was like, bro, both worlds are aligning. Like, this is my calling.
Starting point is 00:29:54 Yeah. True. And then, yeah. Bro, while there, I was like, bro, I'm ready to work. I don't want to ask my mom for freaking money to go eat Taco Bell. Right. Hey, bro, honestly, I'm freaking knocking me now. It's not looking good.
Starting point is 00:30:06 All right, all right, let's see, let's see. But it's funny you mentioned, like, both worlds aligning, brother. Yeah. That, honestly, like, that's what happened with me. You know, eight years in the music business from 18 to 26, and then I go become a cop, and I'm like, all right, that's it. Music is, I'm done with music. That's it.
Starting point is 00:30:22 I need to get a stable career, steady career, and then five years, six years in as a cop. Then I go into social media unit, and now I'm doing video and blogging and social, you know. Yeah. So, you know, we have a podcast, you know, we do this. And both worlds align, bro, police with, like, my music pass, which is, you know, a creative music video, editing, stuff like that. Producing music is kind of like falls in the same. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:47 So, man, it's a blessing, bro. Both worlds aligning like that, like, how you're able to do what you love in baseball, but make a career out of it. Where I was, like, I was getting, like, I was in trouble for making these videos, even if it wasn't bad. Like, I didn't post nothing, like, I'd never posted a red solo cup, nothing like that. I was always like, okay, like, be. professional on my post.
Starting point is 00:31:07 The first time I went up there, I put a vine when Vine was out. Vine, my freshman year of college, Vine was out. That's how you know I'm getting old. Vine had a good run. But bro, I remember my first post. It might be. Yeah, it's on YouTube. I remember my first post.
Starting point is 00:31:21 It was about a, I asked a girl where Spinga Street. She's like, what? And I'm like, oh, this is freaking gold. This is gold. Go on the next day, the guy is calling me in the office. You know, you need to take that down. I go, oh, my God. Damn.
Starting point is 00:31:36 So then whatever, I still, I remember changing my name, bro, on Instagram. Instead of, like, Corey, Garastaza, I put, like, freaking Cody. Like, so I could still have my Instagram and then not find me. And, bro, I ended up still posting videos. And, like, I always loved it. I was like, I'm not going to stop doing this when I'm not, like, if anything, I'm helping promote. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:57 Marshall University. Like, people are like, you want to go there. And then, right. is you right yeah yeah so yeah right i stayed doing those videos and everything aligned sure enough like tic-tacr became huge it's not gonna be around in a couple in a couple weeks let's see what happens in tic-tah i don't know yeah that shit's crazy there's not i've been talking about that shit for a while the content creators on edge right now yeah yeah they're like i don't know what i'm gonna do there's always gonna be something yeah exactly just because that goes
Starting point is 00:32:27 away yeah i mean t-tac goes away everybody we're talking about it at work everyone go to the reals which already are big and the YouTube shorts. Exactly. Really or not. All that attention is going to go somewhere. The YouTube shorts are going to suck. I've been posting like crazy on YouTube shows. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:42 Trying to build that up. The music stuff does well on there. Yeah, really well. Yeah, bro. I've been doing a lot of YouTube. Yes, so. No. He killed like five too.
Starting point is 00:32:55 What though? What are we getting three dogs? It's not good. Okay. That's not about eight. Damn, that's crazy. Crazy, bro. That means we're playing good dominoes.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Yeah, it is. We're getting down to the wire and it's good. But no one's breaking, you know. All right. What was it eight? Eight. All right, all right. 21 to three.
Starting point is 00:33:15 All right, now we got a football score. Yeah, we got to come. We got a lot back here. What are you guys got playing for Nocho on? I don't know, man. This is the first time I'm back for Nocho on a while, so I want to do something humanist. I want to tricking.
Starting point is 00:33:36 Well, I don't know. eat a pig. I already had a blog party. I already had a blog party and it was pig, like all out. Nice. That was nice. They did it in the Kahachina and all that? Oh, hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:47 It was my neighbor. Nice. I smelled it at 3 p.m. Oh, dude, that shit's the far. I'm going to my uncles and he usually does a, like a Kahachina. It's a pig. Well, there's nothing like that. No, nothing.
Starting point is 00:34:00 I love that shit, bro. That's my freaking. It's my favorite shit. I'm getting my daughters now. My daughters are four and two, so getting them used to it. Yeah, 100%. That Cuban tradition. We're the ones I got to keep it going, bro.
Starting point is 00:34:12 Absolutely. It's crazy. I don't know about you guys, but growing up, like, we would, like, everyone would do a different, like, opening gifts on Christmas Day. It was obviously traditional Christmas morning. You wake up. Well, man, for a while, they're my family. We'd open, we'd do it like Noche Buena.
Starting point is 00:34:25 Yeah. It was like Christmas Eve. Really? I've done that before. So, but like, when my daughter's now, it would still be Christmas morning. But, you know, it was, uh, what the Christmas? The presents? Yeah, the presents.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Yeah. Yeah. I've seen the tradition. It's just I saw my willow started first with the you know doing the doing the pig and then he handed it down to my dad and I know my dad's getting a little old So he's handing it down to me and my brother so I wonder how that started you know what I'm saying like they just started cooking like they probably saw the pigs there in Cuba bro and they were just like that's like to dig into that is that is Yeah, that is the history. I like looking up stuff like that so yeah, now I have to look it up when we finish it I know the guy's behind kajana yeah they're like the actual brand yeah The actual Kahajina, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:09 And I mean, we could probably ask them. I bet you guys start that shit. It's got to be an interesting story. It's got to be somewhere in Cuba. They didn't have a way to cook it probably and they made a box out of wood. I bet you're some shit. Some shit like that. It definitely was like that.
Starting point is 00:35:20 They're like, we have this pig. Are we going to cook this shit? We're going to cook at Moazzo. I think about it. There was probably no grill that was big enough to put a pig on it. So maybe they used to cut it up and cook it. And they're like, we use like bags of charcoal and shit like that. I wonder what they were using to like ignite that chip.
Starting point is 00:35:35 Like, were they just putting a ton of wood on. the time like that i don't know so something like that yeah we actually do a little different like i have obviously i have got kachina pigs every year but we also do um like a big brick of it like a big i bet you if you cut this up into a reel you post this right now guys whoever knows the history of kajana put it in the comments yeah 100% and why is it china kaha china that's a good question why is it kajina you're right why is it a cuba Why is it a Chinese box? Why is it the Chinese box?
Starting point is 00:36:06 Why the Chinese got to make everything? No. Did they make it in it? Well, yeah, that's what I was saying. We know the guy, but I'm like, why is it called kaha china? China. That's good question. His last name's not china.
Starting point is 00:36:16 We're digging deep here. Like, who started the actual, like. The tradition of roasting a pig in a box. And on noche de chihuahua. Yeah, yeah, of course. For sure. I'm telling you somebody, there's going to be people commenting. They have.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Someone's got the facts. So everyone's going to comment. It'd be like, it was my aluelo. I was going to be like, Okay. Yeah. My great guy. He's going to be a battle for it.
Starting point is 00:36:37 Who's the guy? Yeah, yeah, yeah. You want to start or me? You can go. Okay. No, but I just love the tradition of it. Like the whole day long. I mean, we start from the morning.
Starting point is 00:36:51 Obviously, you drop, a boy go in the morning and then. And throughout the day starts. Yeah. It's your first beer hits the second you put it down. And then the day full of. Yeah. You have to get the skin while it was going.
Starting point is 00:37:02 Yeah. That you got to be hungry, I don't know if you guys do. but I have family members who then just come by throughout the day. Yep. Just drop in and drop out and they'll come back at night. Yeah, same exact situation. They come back with containers.
Starting point is 00:37:13 And I'm just there sitting outside the whole time doing this. Yeah, yeah. I just like the first beer like at 10 a. Like 10. And then there's so many leftovers that they can't give away in a plan. Oh, yeah, take this, take this, take this. You know, you guys just remind me. I can tell you a story.
Starting point is 00:37:27 So working as a police officer, midnights. When you first start, you know, you're working holidays. Yeah. You're working all the Christmas and Christmas Eve. And man, one night we got a call. It was Christmas Eve because they were doing a Kahachina. And it was a loud music call. You get me?
Starting point is 00:37:43 I worked Koraway for a long time. So that area was very residential. It's not like Brickle. So we would just get loud music calls. And we go. And she was Cuban. She's like, she's like, Beninio, coming, coming. And we're like in full uniform.
Starting point is 00:37:56 We're like, man, we got 10 calls holding. And she would not let us leave without eating. me and my partner, we were like, well, respectfully, we have to go just please over the music. She's like, do you know, it felt like my grandma, you know, so. But she gave us this plate when I tell you, like typical, you know, it was so much food that I literally looked at my partner and he was like, well, let's just eat a little bit. So she sees us eating. And like we had to like dodge the, you know, because she was eyeing us. Like she was not going to let us.
Starting point is 00:38:25 She was making sure you were eating that. Yes, bro. Because you can tell they had so much food and it was getting late in the night that they just need to get, you know, get rid of it. And it was a very nice gesture. I heard too. Yeah. Such an abuela move. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:36 To say like you're not leaving here without eating, I was like, bro, we're gonna have to eat this. Yeah. Is it my goal? Yeah. I put the eight six. I think I threw this. And you threw that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Yeah, so it's okay, my go. But yeah, man. There's nothing like that cah chah chishina on Christmas Eve. The chicharon, though, is like the, is where you get graded on how good that page comes out. If you can't get that chicharon right, people are going to be like, Yeah. It's the first thing too. It's like right off the rip. Like you know yeah, people are tasting that right up.
Starting point is 00:39:06 Yeah. If that's bad they're gonna be like, ah, the pig can't be good then. Yeah. Yeah. It's true. That's like a side of things to come. That ass. The crunch. See what you did there. What's the go to notcha when aside? Yucca for me. Yuka. Yuka's part.
Starting point is 00:39:41 My on. Fried or boiled either way, but yeah, yucca, bro. My aunt's yucca is crazy. Miaooella makes up banging yuca. She can't cook anything else. If myelolo was the cook in that house, she can't cook anything else, but when it comes to yucca,
Starting point is 00:39:53 I mean, bro, my heart. I love good yuca. Oh my God. That recipe one day needs to be shared. She's like, doesn't want to give it away. Seriously?
Starting point is 00:40:02 Yeah, bro, her yukai will make, like, then I eat it somewhere and then it ruins yucca. Because it's so freaking good. That's a problem, bro. Once you have, like, the best, you know, like, it's hard to trust other things here. You're like, it's not the same.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Yeah. How about how about this? I give you another tradition for the holidays because I just bought. I just got one literally yesterday. I went to, I don't know you guys know, in Miami Lakes they do this farmer's market on like Main Street every Saturday.
Starting point is 00:40:26 Oh yeah. And I went with my daughter yesterday and there was a whole stand of Coquito. Oh my. And I bought, and then it's like, you know, you always have Coquito like whatever. And then, but you know, and there's a plug for them.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Yeah, they're at the farmer's market. Coquito and it was fired. But I bought a guava coquito. She had different flavors. Like guava. She had like a Grinch one. She had, so it wasn't just like your tour. And I tried the guau.
Starting point is 00:40:48 She had like the little things you could try. And the guava coquito, man, I was fired. It's a rum, right? Yeah, it's rum-based. I never asked. I just, yeah, she was like, you want to try it? Yeah, just try it. I don't know what you eat, but the guava one tastes it really good.
Starting point is 00:41:00 So I got a bottle of that. And that's something else like you were mentioning, Christmas Eve. Yeah, it's true. The coquito. Also, even on New Year's, I drink the coquito, too. Yeah, for sure. That's something I look forward to every year. That's something that's like tradition recipes.
Starting point is 00:41:12 A little glass of Picotito with the family. They had their own little twist to it. My boy. You need to get rid of that? Except my boy. Thank God, honey. I need to get rid of these too. Everybody was holding them nines.
Starting point is 00:41:24 Yeah. Yeah, I'll put this one this way. What else? What else is the tradition on Christmas? Yeah. Music. Did they do football games on Christmas Eve? I know they've done them before.
Starting point is 00:41:37 I don't know if there's one this year. Christmas Day. Obviously, it's the Christmas Day games. But they did, I think they did a year they did some on Christmas Eve. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, because I remember watching football on Christmas.
Starting point is 00:41:46 I know Christmas. I mean, they're probably bowl games. Is there a game? Yeah. But I don't know if there's any NFL games. Is that you're going to put on par 96 and they have me burrito's how I know. You know Christmas around the corner, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:58 Do you guys like listen to Christmas music going into like Christmas time? Because I feel like I got to do a better job of like getting myself to feel like. I play for rest. If it was just me, over, but ever since I had kids, like my daughter would be like, Yeah, that'll change it. Daddy played Christmas music. So like this morning, you know, wake up and she wants to hear Christmas. But hey, you can come up with a nice little country.
Starting point is 00:42:17 That's something to work on, man. Absolutely. That's a nice idea. But for the- Cuban, she's making millions of dollars just on that one song. You know, we all still listen to that Michael Boubley playlist was no, nothing as Michael Boubley. But if someone, you know, Cuban, if any of you know a Cuban country singer, you know, let me know. Maybe he could drop a little Christmas album.
Starting point is 00:42:35 That's gonna be, that's on the list. That's on the list. Happy Electric. Uh-oh. Yeah, we're done. We're done bad. No, there's no games on the 24th. None?
Starting point is 00:42:46 Chief Steelers and Rabin's Texans on Christmas Day. Maybe some bowl games or something then. There'll probably be a bowl game, man. You knocked? Yep. Let's see. I don't know. There's not anything on the 24th.
Starting point is 00:43:01 That's the only thing. The entertainment at TV YWR. Oh, no, there is South Florida versus San Jose State, baby. I'm locked in. There you go. Hard Rock Bet app. Hey, San Jose, three and a half point favorites. Taking it.
Starting point is 00:43:13 And the over is 62 and a half. The over under is 62 and a half. So they're expecting a shootout, boys. Give me the over on everybody. 16 leg parlay, right? What's your voice name? Danny, 60 leg parlay.
Starting point is 00:43:24 San Jose against two? South Florida and San Jose State. Over's on everybody. I get close though. You can ask you. I got a good hit on this. If I could be sponsored by losing by one, I would. Did you throw this?
Starting point is 00:43:39 By one? Yeah. Okay. So it's me. Okay. I saw a commercial for some, I don't know what betting app it was or something now that they were like, say if you lose by one, you could still. kind of win. I think it's, is it Fandu?
Starting point is 00:43:50 The one that you're saying? Fan dole is just like, I don't know. No, there was one that the commercial was saying like if you lose only or one part of your parlay that you can still get money or something. Well, Hard Rock now has that flex thing. Oh, they do? Bro, it brings down the. But yeah, I put one of those last night and it was like a eight-leg parlay to win like
Starting point is 00:44:10 15K or some shit. And then I saw the flex option. So I'm like, oh, shit, let me see what I did. Bro, it lowered my winning to like 800 bucks. Yeah. That's crazy. That defeats the whole purpose. And what does that do?
Starting point is 00:44:20 If you pick it. If you pick the flex, it's like if you hit, yeah, if you pick, if you miss a pick, you could still cash out, but you're not even getting the same odds anymore. Yeah. Yeah. Gotcha. Gotcha. It's on you.
Starting point is 00:44:32 It's cool. It's crazy. Ever since that, obviously, betting became legal like that in Florida. Talk about, like, everyone you talk to now is basically betting with the hard rock. Oh, 100% of it. You know, like, people before it was like, you know, you know, know it was obviously a lot harder to do but now that everyone has access to it i think everyone i talked to use it yeah oh it introduced the whole new is like a whole new
Starting point is 00:44:55 can of worms for marking because people weren't doing that shit before now the ones that are pissed about it are all the bookies out there yeah oh yeah took away all that that whole market for the bookies is done oh oh my god getting down to the wire again bro every game my oosta my ousa no No. That was your last chip? Yeah. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Yeah, mine is just brutal. Oh. Still not bad. All right. What is that? 12, 12, 12, 15. Yeah, there you go. All right, let's rip one more.
Starting point is 00:46:09 So, what's the score? It is, you said what? What was it? 2018? 18. You guys are at 40. What is it now 40 to 3? 40 to 3, yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:20 Yeah, it's been... That's what the Finns score is going to be today. Four to three, baby. Four o'clock. Do you know what needs to happen? So for us to get in the playoffs, hypothetically, we got to win out. So we got to win today, beat the Browns next week,
Starting point is 00:46:34 and then beat the Jets last week. The next two are very doable. Yeah, they're both on the road in cold weather. I didn't know. Yeah. So there's that facet to it. But, yeah, I mean... And then, yeah, we need a lot of big...
Starting point is 00:46:44 We need a lot of big... To lose two. Or no, Broncos lose out. Or, or chargers lose out. lose their next two. Okay. And then Colts lose one. So one of the two between the chargers and Colts need to lose two and then we need the Colts as well. Bro, they need a one out. The boys needed to win out and I don't know if you saw that game, but they blocked the punt. Then they ended up. I saw it. And the guy touched the-
Starting point is 00:47:04 No, after that. What game? The Cowboys game. At the end, they blocked the punt, but it's still kind of went up in the air. Oh, yeah. And then he went to go touch it and it bounced off the Yeah. Oh, I saw that shit. Oh, yeah. That was idiot. But even if he made it to the playoffs. I was like... No, yeah, because you guys were technically still in the thick of it. I got Jerry needs to... He's the GM, bro. Pass away.
Starting point is 00:47:30 He's up there, bro. He's up there. Yeah. The thing is, bro, he thinks he's the smartest fucking guy in the NFL. Bro, once that guy said that that was all in, and all he did was get rid of players, I was like... You guys don't have a running back. You guys brought back Zeke, and that was...
Starting point is 00:47:47 Could have had Henry. Could have had... Could have had Henry. Yeah, they could have gone after Henry. Yeah. Henry would have been a monster on that team, bro. I mean, he's a monster down. I mean, thank God he didn't end up there for his seat.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Yeah. Yeah, bro. All right, Corey, we got this one, bro. It's it. We're gonna do something drastic here. Yeah. Turn. See a lot of dogs over here?
Starting point is 00:48:11 Yeah, see a lot of dots. Mm-hmm. Best part about being Cuban, what's your, what's your thoughts? That's part about it. It's got to be the culture. Yeah. We talked a lot about the coach. And I saw it when I moved away, you know.
Starting point is 00:49:12 And if you've ever lived away, you see. And it's like nothing against, you know, traditional American culture. It's just different, you know. You know. You walk in a room. How we're talking about noce wena, you know. And it's not just Cuba. I guess it's a Latin thing.
Starting point is 00:49:24 But Cuban, you know, it's very, it's a culture that are very expressive. It's vibrant. It's very, you know, you just walk down A Street right here. And at 2 in the morning, there's music going on. I remember up there, I go to Boston into the city and 20 and everything's closed. You know, it's just a different, you know. And I really missed that from food to music, to people, that flavor. And, you know, I'm single now, like I say, it's the women, you know.
Starting point is 00:49:50 Man, it's just everything is, is, I guess, to answer your question, man, the music, the people, the food. I remember, like, when I went up there, bro, I, again, I walk in a room and they just know. They know. You're not from there. Yeah. Every time you go out of the, even like just out of Miami, but out of the state mostly, it's like, oh, you have an accent. Oh, you're like, wait, an accent. I have an accent. What do you mean? You're absolutely right. I never know how to like, yeah, you have an accent. Yeah, I guess I do.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Yeah, I remember the first time that I was like, you, like, you talk like this. There's no way. Did anyone ask me if you were, like, you're tall like this? She said, yeah, but that's normal. I'm like, to me, where I grew up, that's not normal. Let me ask, did anyone up there, or even you too, anyone up there to ask you if you were Mexican because, like, I feel like, once you go off to, once you go up to, Like, past certain place, there's no Cuban or Nicaragua. If you're Hispanic, you're Mexican. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What's the biggest, bro?
Starting point is 00:50:42 I would be like, because I don't really eat spicy food. And I'll be like, oh, no, I don't, it's too spicy with her. And they're like, hello, aren't you Cuban? And I'm like, yeah, we don't need spicy. Yeah, we don't do spicy. Isn't it the same thing? The most one do is Tabasco. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:57 We like more like flavor. Too bad I did a food truck in L.A., like a traditional Mexican food truck, bro. And these guys were there. They're like, oh, you like spicy? And I'm like, yeah, I like spicy. And I'm like, I'm thinking I like spicy. And they're like, oh, like how spicy do you like spicy? I'm like, pretty good.
Starting point is 00:51:14 They're like, oh, you got to try this hot sauce. And then I'm like, okay, yeah, I'll try it. It was like a greenish hot sauce. Bro. They put it on and they were already like laughing. And I'm like, I don't know, whatever. Yeah, bro. I took a bite out of the taco, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:27 My mouth was on fucking fire. I couldn't even finish the tacos. I put that shit on thinking I was going to enjoy it. My fucking eyes were water. shit was coming down my nose. I'm like, bro, what is it? And they're dying of that there. And they're like, nah, you don't need spicy, bro.
Starting point is 00:51:41 There's two things that I got from, like, American. I don't know if it's America. I guess it's just what they do up there. I don't know. But ranch on pizza. Oh, that's just fire. That's hard.
Starting point is 00:51:50 That's fine. I thought they were crazy. It's good. But I remember eating. I'm like, bro, now I can't do it without ranch. It enhances the experience. It enhances. On pizza.
Starting point is 00:52:01 Oh, yeah. Yeah, ranch on pizza. I like pizza, sir. I'm telling you, bro, it sounds like a little. insane but when you try you're like yeah it's fire me right no you threw that wait yeah and then okay yeah yeah i think just the the uh the ability to have a good time bro you know just the Cuban culture is just like we're willing to get after bro yeah like we want to we want to yeah you know let loose you know we want to have fun yeah that's that's that's that's that's what fuels a lot of our
Starting point is 00:52:31 life I remember my grandma when when when she was alive she would always say like the one thing that that's always carried with her is like they always just like you said they always want to have a good time and they're just like don't don't like overthink everything like just enjoy your life you know because everything else will kind of take care of itself but you know take care of your family take care of your people and that that unity of like and i think it's a Hispanic thing but i even more obviously because we're cuban like i feel it like bro we take care of our people yeah the family thing is is a huge thing. I have a lot of friends who unfortunately don't have the relationship with their family that I think I do and a lot of us do. Just the reverence and the love for your parents,
Starting point is 00:53:15 the love for your Aweilos, and you love, just this deep, deep love that kind of keeps a family together. And it starts, like you said, from a young age. Because like my daughters now will come to Noceuaena, and they'll always have those memories, you know, on the 24th, up till late, you know, with music going on. And it's like, you know, at parties, we're not just kind of like, all sitting around a TV, you know, like, like this. You know, parties like, and this goes from the young all the way up to the Auelos. That's the thing.
Starting point is 00:53:41 You know, the Awelloos are up dancing. It might be midnight. It might be one in the morning and everyone. So that's, you know, another thing. I just, wait, is it my goal? Yeah, and just like the keeping that tradition alive, like, when I'm away, if there's a holiday, if there's nocho, if it's Thanksgiving, I want to come back. I want to be with my people.
Starting point is 00:54:00 Like, I have friends. We're like, no, I'm not going home for Christmas. Like, you crazy? What do you mean? Like, I'll give up anything to go home right now, to go home for Christmas. You know, I'll move anything around so that I can make that ass. Yeah, I agree with that. For sure.
Starting point is 00:54:13 Bro, you go to La Cretta or Versailles anywhere in the Ventanita, bro. They're all there hanging out. Like, where else do you see shit like that, bro? Just all day. They're all there hanging out, just talking shit. Yeah. God knows what the hell they're talking about. But yeah, that's part of the culture, man.
Starting point is 00:54:29 Yeah, really. That's what makes, you know, Cubans, Cubans. Yeah, we just, we could be anywhere and we could all talk. We can talk. Oh, yeah, bro. Passionate as hell. Very passionate. Like, when I celebrate something or anything, like, I definitely am not like, oh, yeah,
Starting point is 00:54:44 it's pretty cool that I did. No, like, I want like my people there. Yeah. All right. All right. I've always had that. Nice, well. With my family.
Starting point is 00:54:51 Sabaheha mentality. Yeah. It's you right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Is it? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:55 Yeah. I threw the A3. Oh, yeah. Well, you screwed me. My bad. Oh, God. All right. Not you screwing me.
Starting point is 00:55:09 Yeah. Interesting. I like that one. No, get a nugged. Sorry, boys. Oh, boy. You get nuggets, get ugly, got to run. You guys want to tear. All right.
Starting point is 00:55:41 After that first one. That won't get us 100, but that'll do it for this. It's fun, boys. Yeah, good time, bro. Yeah, yeah. Can get more Miami than this. I was like, hey, Ocho, weather is good. The weather's delicious.
Starting point is 00:55:57 I mean, I'll take this to you, my. I'll take that shit 100%. Yeah, yeah. Take it right now. I'll smoke it and watch. Hopefully a dolphin win. Yeah, yeah. Let's get a picture, bro.
Starting point is 00:56:09 Let's get a picture, bro. We can post it and tag each other. I'll follow you guys. For sure, for sure. And let's keep in touch. Yeah, absolutely. Peace, peace, peace, peace. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:17 Y' out.
