What's up guys. Welcome to day 10. We are approaching Christmas time. So trying to be festive here.
But welcome back. If you're not, if you've tuned in, welcome back. If you're not new, welcome to this. We appreciate you guys for tuning in.
Today's topic is the power of networking and what are some effective ways to do networking.
Obviously, networking is pretty self-explanatory for most. But I don't think people really grasp the idea of like how strong a networking can be, how you can kind of like network without being.
and go into events and things like that.
If you go to the gym, that's a great place to network.
Depends the gyms that you go to, obviously, in the times of the day.
But if you're an early morning riser, there's probably other people there that are business guys,
that they're entrepreneurs, they probably got, you know, something that they're working towards.
And there's a reason why they're trying to work out at 5 a.m. rather than at 2 p.m. or at 6 p.m.
You know, everyone's entailed to do their own thing.
But the gym is a great place to network.
the bars.
I know people like to go out and things like that.
But the right bars and the right places, there's some places where you can get out there.
You can introduce yourself.
You know, you never know who you're going to cross paths with it.
And that's ultimately what it comes down to.
Networking is not about just going to the fancy events.
It's not about signing up and doing these kind of like networking, culturally kind of like appropriated kind of like,
you know, sign up for this newsletter and we're going to introduce you to all these amazing people.
Yeah, there's avenues, but there's something about these authentic moments about putting yourself out there
and maybe uncomfortable situations. And that's what I mean about networking. It's about introducing
yourself to someone that maybe you see that you've been wanting to kind of introduce yourself to or cross paths with.
It's about maybe sending that email out and putting yourself out there and showcasing what you're doing.
It's about building that personal brand and posting things on social media about the things.
that you care about, the things that you're knowledgeable about. Because networking is not about
just the events, but it's also about the marketing of yourself. It's about showcasing who you are
and what you're capable of. It's about really kind of putting yourself out there and putting
yourself in a position to meet people, to interact with people, joining organizations, joining
kind of groups that align with the things that you align with. So networking is not about just
the fancy happy hours after work or things like that. It's about doing the uncomfortable. It's about
putting yourself in spots that are going to potentially put you in a winning position. It's about
connecting with places where people are not used to being maybe connected with where you can really
showcase yourself and it's about building that personal brand. So it's a marketing aspect and it's
about doing the uncomfortable. The networking can open up so many doors to you because you don't know
who you cross path with and what they can offer you. So make sure to network. It's a network.
Make sure to build that brand.
Make sure to put yourself out there and connect with as many people as possible.
Shake their hand.
Introduce yourself because you never know.
