Remember that ASEAP Rocky night? Oh yeah, dude, we almost were backup dancers for Aesop Rocky. What? We technically were. So we went on backstage. So backstage is an app to sign up for, you know, acting things, background gigs, extra. And we signed up and PJ sent to me. He's like, yo, we could, you know, meet AACB Rocky and be his dancers for Rolling Loud?

Rolling Loud, yeah. So we signed up and it was like requirements. Show up at midnight at this place by like the Hard Rock. They pick you up on a bus. They sign you in, whatever. You have to be wearing Tim's, ripped jeans, and plain white tea, right? We were the only ones dressed correctly. We were also the only white guys.

And not that one has to do the other, but like, we were the only white guys there. So we were like, all right. And they're like, all right, guys, like, this is what we're going to do. We'll do a walk through with you. You're going to talk to ASAP, you know, get five minutes with him. And all these guys are like kind of kissing ASAP's ass like, Yo, I love your stuff, man. Like, we can't wait to be with you.

I'll let you guys introduce. yourselves and let them uh say what we're doing here uh i'm i'm i'm andre aka the tranquilio guy and we're here at vix place we're just we're here hanging out and it's your dog p.j you know laughing the 954 bro no one has no one has ever said that about you called you that

pj people call me that that one maybe your dog people call me their dog jesus not in a 954 we haven't had a 954 shout out in a long time it's usually 305s in the 786 so looking out for them but we were we were laughing about that uh uh when we were talking about yesterday, how it's like a central location to everyone, me and PJ, since we live up like a couple of Broward, we looked and we're like, damn, this isn't central. I love it though. We trick ourselves into believing that that's central, but I guess it works. Yeah, man.

I guess we'll get into it and let everyone know what we're doing. So this is going to be sort of a collaboration of our minds. I don't know how unique it is in today's day and age, but me and PJ, we work on liquor store comedy, all of our comedy stuff, acting, everything like that. obviously you guys know the Tranquilo stuff and then we're hoping to get Friday in on it too so

that's basically what we're doing and yeah Friday right here he's with us in spirit that's the key right now representing he's always taking time off bro but yeah man that's the goal is to get some content

out to you guys and just show what the mind of like thinking creators is on day to day you know oh yeah I think it's gonna be cool I'm excited for it I'm glad to be here I'm not leading the conversation too

hell yeah it's with It's weird actually. Usually you're the one leading the... I know. Have you ever done this before? I've done it a couple times. I mean, we did one where he asked me questions. And I was like the guest, I guess, and he was the host of the Stay Tranquilopod.

And then I've done other podcasts that I'm on and people have asked me questions. But nice. Not as frequent. I like being on this side too. You know what it's like? It's like when your girl drives your truck. And you're in the past. You're like, ooh, no, don't do that.

Yeah, you're letting me and PJ take over on? I'm telling you, though, I trust you guys more than trusting my girlfriend driving the truck, so... Damn. I mean, I trust you. I hope so, man. I feel like you're trying to get broken up with you. No, no, no, no. You're just trying to get dumped right now.

My girlfriend appreciates my subtle comments like these. Okay. So, we just... It's a fair game of taking shots at each other. Yeah? Who's a better driver, you or her? Oh, my God. It's not even close.

I'm scared to get it... She drives a mini Cooper. She's a good driver, but God. Forbibit she's in a rush. It's a little chaotic. Bro. Mini Cooper girls have to be top three scariest drivers. It's like driving like a go-cart in the middle of fucking Miami. She's like Z-Zo-Zo-Zo-Zo-Zo-Zoo-Zoo. Fucking taking every curve when she makes a left turn or a right turn and I'm like, dude, you're gonna fucking destroy your car. But outside of that, she's a good driver.

Outside of that. Better than most. That's like a 10% of the time when she's driving. But that 10% is high risk. I think Miami traffic you kind of have to drive like that. that though or so you're never going to get to where you're going yeah yeah it's just scary i don't know i feel that yeah man i mean it's always the girls who order like starbucks too they have like all the water bottles on the floor yes a couple day old Starbucks well my boy that he's uh like that's what he does like he's just on the road all the time like doing sales his car's always like oh yeah it's like it's like McDonald's bags uh ice lattes from uh from um Duncan yeah and then all his work papers on the ground like dude you knew i was coming in the car can you at least like yeah

Yeah, come on. Court me a little bit, at least. And they're always like, yeah, bro, I'm going to get it clean tomorrow. Always. Dude, this week, this week I'm cleaning everything, dude. Every time. I love it, man. How was your drive over? Was it hectic?

Yeah, I mean, Palmettos always bad at, like, rush hours. Yeah, that's like there's no school either. Yeah, we're Broward boys, man. So we're not used to like, I mean, the Miami traffic is different, bro. I get flicked off like twice a day. It's pretty rough, man. You know, I-95, you know, goes Miami-broward. most dangerous highway in like the the states apparently yeah yeah yeah you heard it really yeah

like the most accidents apparently 95 from miami to broward is the most accidents yeah wow damn super i honestly doesn't surprise me yeah who would have thunk it bro who would have thunk it it's it's a it's a shit show yeah well let's uh let's get into what like how we all met and stuff like that uh yeah i guess we'll talk about you know what you and i do and how we met and stuff it's funny because pj and i we went to high school together we went to college together we went to college together and it wasn't until what like around COVID that we started getting close a little after COVID we went on a ski trip yeah yeah we went on that ski trip and uh we were both a little banged up you know we were the only two single guys on the trip so we went out on town and what was it

that I asked you like about the backstage app or something or because I knew you were asking what I did for work and I was like is that really what you want to do that I'm like well I'm acting on the side too yeah I was a major douche I wanted to get into that yeah yeah we had met some some like actors out in town or whatever and PJ would like mention to me He's like, yeah, I also do it. And I was like, damn, I kind of want to get into that, you know? So. That was during COVID?

That was like. It was like 20, 22. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, okay. But it's funny, like, I don't know if you have anyone in your life like that that you've known for like eight years. Didn't say a word. Like you guys, I mean, we knew each other vaguely a little bit, you know.

But then it definitely picked up after there. Now we see each other every day, talk every day. Yeah. Have like multiple channels and outlets that we do. And, you know, we try to make it work. But that's dope. Yeah, man. It's cool. It's been pretty cool so far.

You know? It's a lot of fun for sure, man. Yeah, you definitely do a lot more of the acting stuff. Well, you kind of transitioned more into like stand-up comedy and like doing that, you know? Yeah. In the beginning it was, dude, it was, it's fun always, but it was hard. Like, you're hitting three, four mics a week, getting home at like midnight, one o'clock. That's a tough world, bro.

Yeah, and I was just talking about it with Aaron on the phone. Like, you got to, you can't just show up and be tired. You got to have like some sort of energy. Yeah. It brings some energy, yeah. Yeah. You feel that way with, like, the acting stuff too? No, because, I mean, you're kind of like, it's all kind of planned ahead, and they cater to the actors, basically.

So, like, you're basically a diva, not a diva, but, like, they're very warm to you, like, sure you're comfortable and everything. So it's very easy going. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't know. I don't know. They just fucking throw you out there. Yeah. Go.

I mean, that's what these guys make it seem like. Like, I feel like when McConaughey was making it, like, they all have stories, like, yeah, we just, you just. showed up and you know sometimes when you got it you got it you know yeah but then you hear all these like horror stories about like getting kicked out of auditions never getting a call back and you drop by agents you know what i mean not to put that in your head but mccanagan i feel like it's a good uh like for you like especially for you like on the acting side because this story was crazy of like how even he's got like found out a bar right and like hey perfect i mean that was part of it but i mean like he was getting like no gigs for a long time oh no kidding yeah have you heard

do you read? Are you a book reader? No, I hate books. I think we should burn. Audio books? No, sir. Nothing? I mean, podcast clips, I guess, but who doesn't like watch those?

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because McConaughey's got a good story, and he has a book called Green Lights that I read. Oh, hell yeah. That was a really good book, and it's about his life, and then how he became an actor, and then obviously not only becoming an actor,

becoming one of the biggest actors of all time in Hollywood, and his story's crazy. but he's done a lot of podcast guests too and I've listened to those podcasts that he's come on and he's just he's just yeah his story is insane he's so like uh it feels like enlightened you know he is

I think he's become more of that later on in life though like he's definitely embraced that uh that character more and yeah and realize like there's bigger purpose to life than just being like the actor and he's used this platform I think to like like you said to be more of like that enlightened guy Yeah. He's dope. He's one of the, like, one of my favorite people.

Yeah. My favorite right now is probably Jim Carrey, man. He's just, really? Yeah, he doesn't, he doesn't, like, he has that saying. Like, I wish everyone can get all their hopes, dreams, you know, all the money they've ever wanted so they can realize it's not as important as you think. You know? So he went down a whole enlightened journey too. Yeah. He did. For sure, like Ayahuasca and all that shit. I'm sure he did some of that, yeah. Yeah, yeah. He seems like a guy that probably went down that rabbit hole. Yeah. I love that, man. I love like, I love, I love, I love, I love, like, I love, I love, when people can detach themselves from like their fame a little bit?

I'm not gonna lie, I hate Jim Carrey, bro. What? What? Unbearable? Yes, sir. What? Yes, sir. He has like a sense of like arrogance.

Like, I feel like, like, when he talks, and it's like, I don't know. I don't like him. You know what I haven't really seen much of him lately? He retired, no? Is he retired? I think the last movie he did was Sonic the Hedgehog and he called it quits.

You know who I feel is kind of arrogant now? Jerry Seinfeld, bro. Oh yeah, super arrogant. He's been getting like pretty tough on those talk shows, man. I haven't seen him recently. He's always going to be like the goat in my opinion. Yeah. But him and I guess Jim Carrey a little bit, but that comes with like their experience.

Like you know how many people they've had to talk to and BS with and like over time? I feel like they've just kind of like ripped off all of the skin and they're just like as real as they can. They probably just don't give a shit of them. about what anybody thinks about them. Like, they've made it in their career. Yeah. Like, as long as they don't, like, do anything, like, illegal or something like that. Like, their reputation is their acting career.

They can really give a shit what people think. Well, Jerry Seinfeld, he was dating a 17-year-old when he was 38. Yeah, yeah. Is that why? No, but that's true, though. He was dating a 17-year-old. That's not why he did it. I don't know anything about rap, bro.

Yeah. I was going to say, holy shit. If that's why the song is 1738, that would have blown my mind. Well, PJ is a big rap. A huge rap. guy. Really? No, that's just their block, Fetty Wop and Zuz-B.

But you're also a big rap guy? Yeah. I was like, you can't deny that. Who's, who you're like top rap artist? I mean, Tyler's always been a favorite for me, so Todd's Creator for sure. Like this is how it's going to go. And he stopped. everyone in the conversation he goes all of you boys got a dress like these two right here pointed us out point and I go to PJ I'm like bro did a sap Rocky just point at us right now yeah because you guys follow the direction yeah so that was pretty cool and then we left at like 5 a.m and they told us like call time was like what two or three p.m. it was definitely earlier yeah

the next day yeah so we were like dude we're not going to do that so we just didn't go yeah because It was kind of like it wasn't going to be on live TV from what I remember. No, they live streamed it. It was a live stream. It wasn't like TV. Right. Yeah. YouTube stream or something like that.

Exactly. Right. It was basically a Sunday because that was Saturday night. So it was going to be Sunday night. We would have missed work and everything. So we just didn't do it. But it was a cool experience. Meeting ASAP.

We've actually worked with a couple other guys from there. Oh yeah. DeAndre. Michael. Shouts out, man. Yeah. Shouts out. We'll plug them.

We'll plug them. Follow right here. We put like the follow thing. No, but yeah, that was really cool. That was definitely a cooler experience. But I wanted to ask you, because what we were talking about before about, like, Jim Carrey and all that, what's your thoughts on, like, on cancel culture? And, you know, as a comedian, I make comments sometimes.

You saw my show yesterday. Right, right. I obviously try to not say, like, you know, F words or, like, four-letter words or anything racist or anything like that. You know, PJ is also in the same sort of line of work. So what do you think about, like, that, being with other influencers? I think it's like a mixed I think it's a mixed bag I think some of it obviously is applicable for sure Yeah, you know I think just certain things shouldn't be tolerated and that's and that's fair But like in the whole grand scheme of it too I think it's like we are a little bit softer as a generation

I think things are easier to get canceled than they were in the past like you look at like the works of like a family guy And just some of the shows that used to exist back then and it was just it was just comedy like people freaking laughed and they enjoyed it where some of the things maybe a little bit over the top, yeah. And you know what? Maybe someone could make a comment about it. But to like completely shut things down and make them not exist, I think it's just a little ridiculous, right? Because like you can give it, but you also have to be able to take it.

You know, and I think it's a fair trade where everyone is allowed to do it, it doesn't come from a place of harm, you know? And I think if everyone realizes that, that is just, that's what comedy is, you know? It's just you can make fun of someone a little bit. You could throw a jab here and there. And I just think, yeah, I think a lot of it is just us getting softer as a generation, unfortunately. And I just think that's people just, I don't know, I just think some people just don't have the stomach for some of it. And it is what it is.

But I still think that there's still plenty of people out there that enjoy the shit out of the family guys of the world. Most definitely. And the South Parks and all these things that have existed in the past. I mean, dude, even if you watch the office. Yeah. Like office is just like a dialed down version of it. Hell yeah. Some of the things that happened in the office,

I'm like, bro, that show would not exist today if it wasn't for that. And that's one of the most iconic shows of all time that people still to this day will watch for like a third time just because it's that good. So I just think it's just the times that changed and unfortunately people. But I don't know if it will ever completely like cancel off things because I think there's still too much of us like that are not as loud. Yeah. that's still just appreciated and there will always be.

And I just, people will always look for it some way somehow. So someone will always create creating it because people are still going to consume it at that capacity. So whether that's in comedy, TV shows, whatever it is, movies. There's still going to be an audience for it, I think, at the end of the day. It's hard, man. I think, so I want to see what you think is going to happen in the next like 10 years or so

if you think it's going to get better or worse. I think in a way, it's going to get so bad that people won't be able to get canceled anymore. Yeah. Because no one's going to take it serious anymore. It's kind of like the boy who cried wolf. Right. Like after people start seeing like every person getting canceled,

I think people are going to start like, you know, shedding off. But obviously there's, you know, the people who should be, you know, in trouble for what they did and shit like who. I'm kidding. What's this guy that was roofing? Oh, Bill Cosby. Yeah, he had to go. He had to go. He had to go. Come on. That was crazy.

Yeah, like, that's one you can't. Exactly. There's certain things like, it's like, dude, come on. Which are we trying to help you, man? You're very clear about what you were trying to achieve here. But that's the thing. Do you get rid of his work after his past is revealed? Because, you know. That's a good question. Do you separate the art from the artists? Exactly.

So that's a big one in comedy. There's a lot of people, like a lot of comedians have troubled lives, you know, and people stop, like watching them and stuff. But, like, Louis C.K., you know, he had that thing that he got canceled. but to me he's still one of the best comedians of all time. Like his mind comically is just insane. And that was a dumb thing to get canceled for it, bro. What did you get canceled for again? In a way, what do you call that, fallacious? I really don't remember.

He was just whacking it in front of people, basically. Well, he asked for permission. And they'd say, yeah, because they thought he was joking, but where did he do this? Probably like a hotel. Like wider's rooms or whatever, because there's like people he worked with. Oh, really? Damn. You know more than I do.

Oh, yeah. I thought he was like renting out a hotel, doing it in front of them. But, I mean, that's a pretty extreme one. He's a creative guy, but he was just a little fucked up in the head, basically. A lot of fucked up in the head. I feel like that's a lot of creatives are, you know, which is crazy. So what do you, what do you think, like, what do you think it's heading? I mean, yeah, I could see it getting worse before it gets better for sure.

I just think it's just the nature of the beast right now. Yeah. People are just going to continue to double down on that approach. But like I said, I don't think. think it'll go away completely because we'll continue to exist in the backdrop of like we like it too much for it to go away. Assuming none of us, uh, I mean, assuming none of us get canceled. Well, it's like you feel like you're walking on a fine line all the time, bro.

It's like you're like walking on a rope and at any point you do one fucking misstep and it's like, you know, you're gone. Yeah. Yeah. You also don't want to live in that fear of like, I can't say this or I can't say this. Like, yeah. You know, I, I just think like if you do everything with the right intention. you'll be okay.

As long as your intentions are good, you should be okay. You're going to make a mistake here and there. Fuck, I guess. But, like, you can't let that haunt you for the rest of your life. It usually comes down to some sort of, like, a itch as well,

like, whether it's, like, you know, sexual or, like, drug-related or something. Everyone's got their vices. Yeah, which is a thing. Once you become, like, famous, like, these people, it's, like, double, you know, magnified. Well, we're talking about it right before the podcast, Stitch?

But he had his thing back in the day Where he had apparently like an abuse Substance abuse problem He's addicted to something I don't know exactly what it was And then obviously he got caught You know having that only fan account and all that stuff and and it's unfortunate but that only comes to the light probably because

he was famous if he was just a regular Joe Shmo streamer who cares and no one would care someone decided to dig it up so it's like that's the price of fame almost sometimes too like yeah you're put in the spotlight and you could do everything right but you made that one mishap at one time or whatever it was like there's people out there that are just haters that are going to do something to try to bring you down which is unfortunately part of the price of fame yeah I could say. If I would have known it was him, I would have left a better tip on Onlyfans, bro. Nah, man, I love, it sucks.

Like, they never have any, you know, bad. on them, I feel. They're strange, though. They're strange. Tom Cruise had that thing was hopping on Oprah's couch. You know what I'm talking about? No.

Before we get way too well, We'll talk about our future plans and everything in a minute, but do you guys believe in like that whole like elite, like Hollywood elite stuff? Yes, 1,000%. Like the eyes wide shut. Like that movie really, I know it was in the 90s or 2000s, but that's a crazy, like, I don't know if all those things are super accurate, but there's something funky that goes on behind the...

I think it's just dramatized, but it definitely exists, you know? There's definitely something going on back there. I love how we're talking about, like, all these things that we want to get into as, like, young, like, professionals, and we're just talking about the bad things about it. canceled Hollywood elites Bill Cosby now but yeah half the battle I guess

yeah or half of that world I mean there's plenty of of influencers and professionals that live great lives of course and they avoid like I guess the elite stuff like you know I know Terrence Howard was like a big one on that

on the Rogan stuff and Kevin Hart is always talking about it is Terence Howard the guy that said the math thing did you see that yeah he said a horrible math opinion what was it like a so he got in a fight with like a I guess like a math. I don't know. Is it one times one equals two?

He said one times one equals two because one, what was it, man? It doesn't matter because he's wrong, bro. So who cares like what his reason is. He's wrong, but he basically tried. He was trying to make a really strong case about the fact that it actually equaled to. Yeah. Right. And I feel like that happens a lot with like actors and stuff.

They think that because of their platform that they have like this philosophy or like, they're like Plato now. I mean, the thing is like realistically, you can. convince anyone to think fucking anything. Like if I have a kid and I said, yo, this ball is blue. I tell that kid that it is blue and anytime he sees the color green that it's blue. He's going to grow up thinking that the color green is blue. And so someone's going to be like, no, dude, that's green.

And then he's going to be like, no, it's blue. And then other people are going to be like, no, it's green. Yeah. And they're like, holy fuck, I've been lighted. So like, you literally can convince anybody to think anything. It's just you have to have the masses behind you. If that guy could get a million people to say that one times one was two, people are going to probably start to believe that one.

Or they're at least looking to it. Even though it's wrong. Yeah. They actually might believe it, though. So it's scary what you just said, a million people, because I got a huge fight with my sister today about this guy, Alex Jones, the one that they made, like, the documentary about. Okay, yeah.

He had at one point one in every four Americans believing that that school shooting years ago didn't happen. Oh, Sandy Hook, right? Yeah. Yeah. I don't even want to get into that. but like he had so many people behind him that not only did they believe him but they actually started to question like okay maybe he's right maybe like this didn't happen or this and i was fighting my sister because i was like it's not that people believe him it's that people are willing to

like hear him out which is like the craziest thing yeah you know what i mean yeah i think everyone has like an open mind to things that just it goes back to like what we were saying like people just take shit fucking to another yeah yeah yeah People are bored. People are bored or they're mad or they're, you know. I don't know. We live in a crazy world. Yeah, it is crazy.

But yeah, man. I guess we'll start getting into what we got going on, huh? Yeah, for sure. I don't know. Yeah. So I'll start with like the comedy stuff. I got a couple shows coming up. I got the Dania Improv down here in South Florida.

This Sunday, the 14th. We got La Sala down in Miami on Saturday, July 20th. And then I'm going to be doing a couple shows in New York and Nashville in August. so I'll definitely post and tag you guys and do whatever I got to do. Cool. Yeah, so we're working on growing our channel and pitching a few ideas to festivals and stuff like that. For sure. Right. Yeah, man. What about you? What do you guys got going? Nothing. We're doing this, you know, expanding our content offerings into more things like this. You guys bring an entertainment level, I think, that we don't really have.

And then we're signing Quartito Sessions, which is like a music. Shout out. Music channel that we're going to start co-producing it with them. And then piggybacking that into whatever musician, artists that they bring on, we'll do like a little 20-minute segment about their story as like a musician, like little mini music song. Nice. It's a supplement like that NPR acoustic style channel. Nice.

They do a lot of like the Latino artists and stuff like that, which obviously like we like to represent that. Yeah. So they have a platform kind of already built. So we're just going to kind of like co-produce it and then amplify some additional content with them. And then yeah, the stuff that we're doing with you, our sports stuff that we've already been doing, hopefully, you know, now with the Dolpherson.

We might actually do some media with the dolphins, hopefully, so that could be cool. Nice Friday. And then obviously, yeah, try to do more like social content with Friday around like, you know, nightlife and live events going on. Tailgates will be big coming up in the next month. Hell yeah, football season, baby. Football season big. Let's go. Rally around a lot of football season things and yeah, and then we'll see what else comes along.

Obviously, we do a ton of golf stuff too. And then we're here at Vicks Studio, which, you know, essentially what we want to do with, what we've been doing with this is kind of turning it into like his art studio slash like a content studio. So have live events here. Like I was telling you, like even maybe do like a standup night here and host. Oh, yeah. And have a live audience here, but maybe a couple comedians.

Have the music also playing. Yeah. With some like acoustic live, live music here as well. So turn this like into like. like an event slash content space. And yeah, take over, baby. Yeah. The Latino bar stool.

I love it. The Latino bar and Baton. And if anyone gets in her away, we're gonna fucking smush them like an ant. Hell yeah, baby. Love it. Or we'll buy them out, you know. Yeah.
