Starting point is 00:00:00 What's up guys. Welcome to the final day of 12 days of Tranquilmes. If you're new, catch up. We got a bunch of stuff that we talked about. But tomorrow is Nocho Wena and we wanted to talk about Nochuana. Nochuana is my favorite holiday by far. It's not Christmas. It's not Thanksgiving. It's not Halloween. Nothing. It's literally Nocha Wena. If it even is considered a holiday, to me it's a holiday and it's my favorite holiday. Between the Cajina, the beers, that I drink all day, the cigars that are smoked all day, the domino table, bringing family around and just having some amazing moments, there's nothing around that's better than nocha wena. If it's not something that you celebrate, I highly recommend that you celebrate it just to make an excuse to celebrate something. If you don't have a nochewana to come to, come over. You're more than invited to come over here and enjoy with us. You know, some of the rituals that go on with nochewana, like I said, is. is just a hanging with family.
Starting point is 00:01:01 It's an all-day event. We cook a pig inside kind of this wooden box for those that are not familiar with it. And that is called the kajina. We put it in there. You season it up the day before. Everyone's got their own recipe. You know, look it up. But everybody's entitled to do a pig however they want to do it.
Starting point is 00:01:21 But the idea of having the pig in there sits in there. You flip it. It roast all day. It cooks nice and crisp. You get that chicharon at the, you know, know, crispy, crispy skin at the end. And you enjoy some pork sandwiches. You enjoy some, some yucca, some rice, whatever it may be.
Starting point is 00:01:39 But it's just the aspect of an all-day event where you're outside, you're enjoying the weather, even though sometimes it's hot here in Miami, but you're enjoying the weather. You're enjoying the beautiful day, the beautiful weather, beautiful family, everything that comes with it. It's a great time. It's just a great way to connect, be close, kick me. back, relax, and for lack of a better term, stay tranquil. It's the Tranquilo holiday, in my opinion. And if you're going to need beer for your Noche Buena, the official Cervessa of Nocha Havana is Johnny Cuba. So go out, get it at Sedanos, get it at Presidente, get it at Win Dixie, wherever it is
Starting point is 00:02:19 that you need to go get beer. Go there, get your beer for your Nocha Buena and enjoy with the family and of course, stay tranquil. Thanks, guys. We hope you enjoy the 12 days of Tranquilo. We're excited for 2023. We hope you enjoy your time with your family. And we'll see you guys soon. Thanks, guys.
