All right, we're here at the Latinos and Sports event in Miami, Florida. We're here with Jerry Bush from Amerin Bank, presenting sponsor of the event. Thank you for the time and thank you for being here. It's a pleasure. It's our second year. We're big fans, obviously, of Miami, the Latino community and sports. So we think this is a perfect alignment for our organization. Absolutely.

Obviously, you guys have been in sports now for a little bit with the work with the Panthers now, the Tampa Bay Rays, Miami-Garland, Miami-Garland, Miami-D. You have to take that back. It's the Stanley Cup champion. Stanley Cup champion. Very true. And hopefully again, repeat this year. Yes, absolutely.

That's what we're counting on it. So what's some of the work that, obviously you're here with the event, but what's some of the work with the Panthers, with the Marlins, with the heat that you guys have done amplifying some of the Latino efforts? You know, great question because we look at our relationships on multiple fronts. So for example, with the Panthers, we also support veterans with a, you know, with a SAVE program. Amaran Saves. Same thing with our organization with the Marlins. And so we look for niches of where we can tie the community in. And so we think that having these unique events like that where we say, hey, we'll sponsor something specifically. I will tell you the one sponsorship and I should say partnership that we left out was Fort Lauderdale United. Because we thought it was so critically important to support women's sports, particularly having the first. professional women's soccer team coming to South Florida.

So that connects you with the community and, you know, having to see how the community has embraced these teams where typically you would think that it may not resonate, we are seeing that it resonates extremely well with the Latinos. Absolutely. No, it's great. I mean, there's so many facets and I think you talk about all the different pillars, essentially, right? It's not just Latinos, but it's also women in sports. It's veteran, right?

paying attention to all facets that go into all of them. Yeah, and I think that's so critically important. You know, in this day and age, we are looking to be in diversity and inclusion from the perspective of all people being involved. I think sports is just a great way to get people together. We all rally around sports. And so I think it's a terrific way to pull the community together,

get people engaged, get them excited. And we've had a lot of really great stories. here, which is the wonderful. Oh, definitely. What is your thoughts on the impact that an organization like Latinos and sports has on the community? I think you can already tell this evening how many more people that are here. This is, we've just started. I think the engagement level and the excitement about these events and pulling more and more people in

is going to be, you know, just, I would expect this will be in the hundreds, maybe 500s to thousands eventually. And that's where we want to go. And again, it's just merely that as people get the word and understand how important it is the connection between the community. And again, I keep saying broadly community, and of course it includes a Latino community. But with sports, it's that one thing that keeps pulling us all together. And it's always great if you have one team that's a champion. But look, I think the rooting spirit of people here has been fantastic. They've really supported all of the teams to be involved. No, they definitely have.

And, you know, it's been an up and down for us, but we're coming up with Stanley Cup and we're going to repeat again this year. Absolutely. Amos Gatos. Well, thanks so much, Jerry. Pleasure. Appreciate it.
