Adam Darrow.
Starting point is 00:03:22 He's been on my show before. He wrote a book called Seek the Risk. He was also partnered up, Mary too, for a very long. long time, a woman named Jane who had, has been on my show. Jane is episode number 920. She's as hardcore as they come. Okay. As hardcore as Casey Alexa, who I just had on him. I got Jane's out of control. He was married to her and she really pushed him out of his comfort zone when it came to their non-monogamous relationship. He talks about how before he met her, he was with other women and had open relationships, but nothing like what Jane was into.
Starting point is 00:03:59 and he wanted to be with her, so he learned how to get past all the jealousy and all the fucked up feelings being with her brought up for him. And he did that by using his skills that he used when he was like rock climbing and doing all these extreme sports that he did. He's been on my show before. He talked about their whole story. But in this specific episode, he's talking about the specific things he did to conquer all the fucked up stuff that came up. for him. And he is answering questions that people wrote into him about being in a non-monogamous relationship. We talk about a lot of different things on this episode. It's super interesting. We talk about how and why he got past his jealousy. He talks about how you could do it too and why it's important.
Starting point is 00:04:46 We talk about masculinity and how he redefined his masculinity within his open relationship, why that happened for him. He just talk about, you know, being a cock and being called a cock. And, you know, how and why that can be such a bad thing and why it's not, how that's, you know, looked at as a derogatory term and why he doesn't think it is a derogatory term, how he came to terms with being a cuck himself. He also talks about, you know, being pegged in the stigma surrounding that because his girl out of the fact that he was pegged and he had to, you know, own it. And that was hard for him at first. You know, he was like this regular guy that, like I said was forced in this open relationship and it brought up all the things in him that it probably
Starting point is 00:05:30 brings up for other people. Maybe not every single person is going to be in such a hardcore relationship like he was and they're not going to have all these things come up. Maybe you're going to have one or two, but he is such a great resource for learning about how to navigate an open relationship because he went through it all. He conquered it all. And on the other side of conquering it all, he had DVPs and DPs and threesomes and foursums and order. Ging-Bings and you name it, he did it, and he lived his best life, and he has zero regrets. And, you know, he tells you how you could do the same. And it's a super interesting episode. He's giving my listeners for the first week that this air is like a big discount off on his book. The link to his book, Seek the rest will be in the description. When he is called in before,
Starting point is 00:06:15 let me tell you, people have wrote in and said his book was like effing great, and they loved it. So I highly recommend it. But I also highly recommend this episode. So I'm going to get right to it and be right back on with Adam. Hi, Adam Darrow. Welcome to the Strictly NamUs podcast. Welcome back. You've been on before, right? Yes, I've been on before. Yeah, you wrote a book called Seek the Risk. I not only had you on, I had Jane on the girl in your book. You wrote a book. It's a true story. You dated like, you know, I call them hardcore girls. I just had a whole thousandth episode full of them. Jane should have been involved, but, you know, I didn't call her back in. But like, she is what I would say, hardcore. They don't make girls like Jane. So you really did date somebody that was on the extreme end of open relationships. And so there was jealousy that came up, you know. How could it not when you hear the shit that Jane did? And people could buy your book.
Starting point is 00:07:11 It's all in there. And what you did, and this is like the premise of your book and we're going to talk about about what we're going to do today is like answer people's questions about open relationship and jealousy and all that kind of stuff, is you use, because you're like a rock climber and a risk taker like you live in that world. and you use the sort of tools you use to conquer your fear of doing all that to conquer your jealousy in that relationship that really pushed your boundaries and pushed your comfortability of what you were like and really pushed your is that
Starting point is 00:07:41 convertibility is that the right word you know what I don't know it sounds right yeah pushed your comfortability of like what you were like down for you know because she was so open she wanted to fuck your friends she wanted to do it in front of you she wanted to do without you and then come home and smudge it in your face. And you weren't like one of those guys that was like with a heart on wanting to hear it. You didn't want to. You know, but you loved her and you wanted to be with her and you put up with it and you use these certain strategies to, you know, cope and deal and get to the point where you were
Starting point is 00:08:10 okay with a lot of things that came up for you. So you're such a great person to talk to for people, maybe like newbies or people that are in an open relationship or starting one or in one already and having issues with jealousy or worried about that kind of thing. coming up because that's who you were and you have like the tools and you have some tips and tricks that work for you, correct? Yeah. It was more mindset than tips and tricks, but yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:38 Tips and tricks. You could mind fuck yourself and that's a tip. Yeah, that's true. I mean, I think of how over the head, over my head I was in that relationship. But I saw the person I wanted to be with and thought, well, you know, I'm going to give her lifestyle a chance. and it nearly destroyed me. And it wasn't until I started thinking about it
Starting point is 00:08:57 in the same way I thought about the extreme sports I participated in that I got very calculating. I was like, okay, let's move through this methodically. Let's take it one step at a time. And I got to a point, I got to compersion. I got to a point where I could watch her get fucked. I got to a point where I wasn't jealous. I got to a point where she could fuck someone in the other room
Starting point is 00:09:15 when I was doing, working in the office. So it was quite the journey. It was long. I mean, the whole thing was like six years, but yeah. Yeah, and you do have this great book. It's called Seek the Risk, and I will be putting a link in the description. I just want to say that when you first came on and told me that whole story and then sold your book, I got so many emails from my listeners that were like, oh, my God, I loved Adam's book.
Starting point is 00:09:36 They thought it was really well written. It was so well written that I used you to help me write my book. Okay, I have a book coming out. I know you personally now that's why you're back on because you booked me up. I was like, who do I know that I can write well? You can, and people complimented you, and people love your book and a little. lot of my listeners actually submitted questions to you because, you know, a lot of people can understand, you know, your situation, right?
Starting point is 00:10:00 Where you were. And a lot of people want to be like where you wound up, which is like you said, at conversion, able to handle all the stuff that you couldn't in the beginning, which is pretty kind of incredible. I don't know why people twist themselves into pretzels to try to do that anyway, but I love that you did because you're here, you know, you survived it and you figured out a way to do it. You know. Well, I mean, there was a reason. There was a reason I was twisting myself into pretzels. The first was, yeah, she was great. But the other was, at least I recognized that the problems I was that I was facing all this fear, all this comfort. I realized that that was probably doing something in my head and not necessarily a violation of how I wanted to live. Because I could, I knew that I wouldn't have any trouble going out and fucking someone else. That worked fine with me. But for some reason, with her, it's like, oh, what's going on here? There was a total double standard in my head. And I recognize that and said, now I need to get past that because it's bullshit.
Starting point is 00:10:56 But to get back to the book for a second, your listeners have been incredible. It's the third time you've had me on, the response. You guys have been amazing, wonderful emails. And I just wanted to lower the price for when this podcast comes out to $2.99 from the regular retail price of $5.99 for the Kindle for the e-book as just a way to say thank you to you guys. So I hope some people are a little intrigued and maybe the lower price will get you to buy it. So $2.99 for the first week, and I'll put that in the description, the link. And then after a week, if they don't hear this, so they're hearing it after, it's $5.99. Right. Okay, cool. I love that. That's great. So, yeah. Okay. So you were kind of like, yeah, you saw that you had this typical thing that people go through and the average feelings. And you wanted to conquer them because, like you said, you felt like you understand non-monogamy. You could do it yourself, but with the thought of someone else doing it, freaked you at the fuck out. And that right there was your sign to, let me try and conquer this, as opposed to let me. you know, say no fucking way and walk away.
Starting point is 00:11:53 Right. And also there's a lot of fear around her being out there in public. And fear just kind of turns me on. What do you mean fear? Fear of like what? Fear of her, you going into this relationship? What do you mean fear? Sure. Well, there was, I mean, it was multifaceted.
Starting point is 00:12:08 There was fear of judgment from other people because she was so public. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she's a online person that's out there, you know, preaching the preaching stuff. around sex, sex positivity, whatever relationship you want. So she's very open person. And she was very cool about that with me before we got into the relationship. So there was fear about that.
Starting point is 00:12:32 There was also fear of the jealousy. Am I going to be completely overcome with jealousy? Am I going to be able to handle this? Am I going to be able to behave in an adult way? So I had all this fear around this. And from all the extreme sports experience, when fear bubbles up, I'm like, oh, there's something interesting here. and managing that fear and getting past it is I guess I challenge myself to do that so it was almost like a dare I almost dared myself into this relationship yeah well anyone that's climbing mountains and doing all that
Starting point is 00:13:02 shit probably it's like a gene you know what I mean like that risk thing I mean seeking the risk right you're like a risk taker what's the biggest risk like going into something that you know is going to bring up maybe your biggest fear or all this fear and instead of walking away you're just like facing it like you face the mountain, correct? Same shit. Absolutely. But what's funny is I went into the relationship with so much arrogance because of all the, a bit with all the mountain climbing, the base jumping.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Oh, really? All the extreme stuff. I was like, I did all that. I can handle this. I really, I went in with so much arrogance. But once I got into it and started caring about her, that's when it's when the emotions overwhelmed me. And I started feeling the emotions I never thought I was going to feel.
Starting point is 00:13:49 Yeah. And I think a lot of people can understand that because it's one thing to like, you know, watch someone you don't give a shit about fuck somebody else. And when you first meet somebody, you're not in love with them. But over time, it might be a different story. And you don't know. You really don't. Yeah. I mean, it's what's interesting, too, is there's, I remember, I can't remember the exact, but there's a conversation that I'm sort of, the whole book's a conversation, basically.
Starting point is 00:14:11 But I'm saying, I always supported women who flew their freak flag. I loved crazy wild kinky women. But what I found that, I loved them as long as they didn't cross a certain boundary in my own head. And she went well past that boundary. And so that was just like a shock to my system. I was like, oh, I guess I like fake women as long as they're freaky to what I consider the correct amount. But what was that for you? What was the boundary that she crossed that?
Starting point is 00:14:38 You were like, whoa, this is too much. Was it the friends thing and the people that you know and telling you about it? I mean, well, it wasn't like a hard boundary that I can sort of, you know, point to with a line. But prior to this relationship, I had had girlfriends where there was a certain amount of flexibility. Like, we'd have a threesome now and again, right? We'd have another girl join us. I'd never, actually, once I had another guy join us. But that, to me, was the extent of it.
Starting point is 00:15:04 We were doing, we were always doing things together. When I got together with Jane, she absolution was like, oh, no, I go out and fuck whoever I want, whatever I want. whether you're there or not. And that was the first, that was the first moment when I was like, uh-oh, this, this is not what I thought it was going to be. Yeah, I mean, you had a good time, right? You got a lot out of it. But who better than you to talk to people at all different places or all different parts,
Starting point is 00:15:36 you know, or people that are in non-monogamy or wanting to have a non-monogamous relationship or in that? Now, you got a lot of questions from. from listeners or readers of your book, right? Or listeners of... Hundreds, actually. Yeah, and so we pick some and we're going to answer them. But before we go into the questions, I just want to tell you about something that I know
Starting point is 00:15:53 you would love because I know you're like me and you cannot do a second cup of coffee after 3 p.m. but isn't 3 p.m. like the time that you need a second cup of coffee? I know, right? Exactly. I don't know. That's me. But no, there's this thing that I've been using, Magic Mine, and I'm just going to tell you
Starting point is 00:16:07 that I take it with my coffee. And it's not like extra added caffeine. It's made with neutropics, which is like nature. caffeine. So it keeps you like energized, but it's like focused energy. It's not like jacked up crazy. I've had too much caffeine energy, right? It's not like you take it instead of your coffee. You take it with. I've been taking it with my coffee for like the last two months. And over time, it builds up and makes you so much more focused. You have more energy, but it's not like energy that you want to get up and run a marathon. It's like energy that you just want to do more work and
Starting point is 00:16:37 you don't need that extra caffeine, which is like awesome. And, Yeah, you should try it, I'm telling you. And now they have a better brain bundle, which includes the daytime shot and a nighttime shot. You use them the same day, and it's going to up your whole game. And they're offering my listeners 45% off the bundle with my link. All you got to do is go to magicmind.com slash S-A-C-J-A-N. That's magicmind.com slash s-ac-j-J-A-N. Now listen, if you can't remember that whole thing, all you got to do.
Starting point is 00:17:12 do is just go to the description and it's really easy and just click on the link and let me just tell you the best thing about magic mind that I love i love companies that back up their products okay they have a hundred percent risk-free offer okay you could buy it and you have 100 days to get your all your money back if you don't like their product okay that to me is like cool that i love that's right yeah absolutely it's great yeah risk free 100 days no questions asked you could get all your money back but i'm telling you you're not going to ask for it because you're just going to be buying more. But anyway, let's get to your questions. A lot of them are about jealousy.
Starting point is 00:17:47 And I just want to say that if people want to get the whole story and really, like you said, it's not specific tips and tricks. It's a whole mindset. They're going to get a lot more from your book, but you're going to give some advice for people who wrote in now. Okay. So here's a question. And I like this one because it's from a girl.
Starting point is 00:18:03 Okay. We're going to start from a girl. It doesn't matter girl guy. You know, this is open relationship stuff. My boyfriend and I are trying to open up our relationship. but he is super jealous and it never goes well and frequently ends in an argument. I'm at a loss. What can I do?
Starting point is 00:18:18 What should I do? Right. Yeah. This is okay. Well, obviously, first of all, you guys need to talk about it. And most importantly, I will say validate that his feelings are real because they are. Whether or not they are, whether that they need to be there is not the question. They're real to him.
Starting point is 00:18:39 So first you have to absolutely first need to validate. that with him. And then you guys need to sort of talk and figure out what's driving the intense jealousy. I had the same thing. So when I started looking into it, unfortunately, I didn't have help from Jane. I wish I did. But when I started diving into trying to really figure out what's driving my own jealousy, I found out it was sort of a result of me not fully believing in myself. And once I was able to recognize that, it made dealing with the situation I was in a lot better because I realize jealousy can be good, right? In the book, I talk about two different types of jealousy. There's the jealousy that motivates you to be like a better partner. Then there's
Starting point is 00:19:17 the bad jealousy that is completely destructive because it's coming from a bad place. It's coming from this unstable place within you. And that's a really hard thing to sort of be introspective about. And you need to be sort of delicate when you talk to him. But what you need to understand, what he needs to understand, that the jealousy, it's not, it's not due to you. It's due to something that's something, there's something about the situation is triggering something in him and finding out what that, what that is. What is it that is causing this feeling like, oh, my God, I, I'm angry. Like, are you afraid of losing the person? Are you afraid of being embarrassed? Are you afraid someone might be a better lover than you? Those are the questions that have to be answered.
Starting point is 00:19:59 It's a really tough, it's a really tough conversation for someone to be open, especially a guy, at least it was for me. But that's where I would start. If you can talk with him and find out what's driving it, you guys can probably find ways to help alleviate all these negative responses he's having. But there's no doubt it takes work and a commitment to each other. Because so many times, no offense to guys, but I've read about why this happens,
Starting point is 00:20:25 a lot of times guys have feelings and they don't really know where they come from. Like, guys aren't lying when they're like, I don't know why I did that. You know what I mean? Like they don't fucking know. Sometimes they have feelings. And they don't know where they come from. So let me just ask you, that question when you asked yourself, like, where are your feelings of jealousy coming from? What was the answer for you?
Starting point is 00:20:47 So, yeah, great question. So I talk in the book about negative outcome fantasies. So when I'm feeling really jealous or when I was feeling really jealous and I was agitated and uncomfortable and angry, what I tried to do is visualize what that meant in the future, right? I'm afraid of some future state. I'm afraid of something that, you know, what was that? And what I was able to identify, and these are really hard things to say and to admit to yourself. I was afraid that this guy might be a better lover than me.
Starting point is 00:21:22 I was afraid that she might like him more than she liked me. I was afraid it would expose me as an imposter, right? These are all interesting psychological things that some of us have worse. and others. I had them to a certain extent. And when I was able to visualize the futures that were causing the negative reactions, I was able to really dive deep and start addressing those concerns and realize, wait, that's a fantasy. And it's not true because I'm X, Y, Z, I'm great. I do this. My wife, my wife really loves me. She loves to do all these things with me. She's not going to throw all that away. And she's chosen me over everyone else. She's been with so many guys, she could have
Starting point is 00:21:58 pick of any of them and she chose me. So for me, it was this idea of finding out what were the future visualizations that I was, that I was creating in my head. And then looking at the actual data of my life and talking, although I couldn't talk to my partner about it because it was a unique situation, but in general, talk to your partner. And ideally, if your partner wants to go down this road with you, she'll do, or you'll do, that's right, your girlfriend's asked the questions. You'll do what it takes to alleviate his fears, right? Because you want to go have an open relationship. It's fun. It can be great. It can be incredibly rewarding, and it can be incredibly rewarding for him. And one of the things he needs to also accept is that the journey that he goes on
Starting point is 00:22:39 with this can be even better because of these feelings he's trying to work on and overcome. It can just make it even that much better to have them, not in spite of them, but actually better because of them. Yeah, and I think in relationships a lot of times what people don't get is, unfortunately you see these relationships all the time where it's kind of like me against you instead of like you're a team right but really if you're dating somebody or you're with them you're married to them that's your fucking partner okay you're on the same team so a little sort of like validation goes so far you know anyway let's go to the next question there's a guy that wrote in and said a woman of my dreams and the relationship is incredible however i feel like i lost all my masculinity when she actually announced that you know not only is am i the love of her life even though she prefers much larger cocks. Now, I don't know why any woman would ever say that. I prefer much larger cox. First of all, I want to come to her defense.
Starting point is 00:23:35 Yeah. Because sometimes we say things in a casual way without realizing the effect. We don't, we're not thinking. I don't think you should come into any girl's defense. There's a scene. There's a scene in my book that is almost identical to us. And it's absolutely hilarious. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:52 I mean, it's absolutely. tell me what happens. I'll tell you what happens, right? So I'm finally having a threesome with this woman, a friend of hers that I had been hot for so, for so long. I looked like Marilyn Monroe. And so I call her Marilyn in the book. She's just gorgeous and smart, brighter. And Jane did it. She set up a threesome with us when I, and I'm losing my mind. She's just exactly the physical person I'd want to be with. And she's on all fours. We're on our bed.
Starting point is 00:24:25 She's on all fours. I'm fucking her from behind. And Jane's sort of like massaging your breasts and kissing her while I'm fucking her. And Marilyn is just going, oh, my God, it's so big. It's so big. I love it. I love it. And in the middle of all that, Jane goes, it's not that big.
Starting point is 00:24:45 And she was so young and dumb. Oh, my God. And she just, like, all of a sudden, everyone just freezes. It was just such like at that moment, but we all just died laughing. And Jane's like, I can't believe I just said that. Oh, she realized. I don't know what. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:02 She realized me. She's like, I don't know. Oh, my God. I am so sorry. I don't know why I said that. I don't. So that's why I want to come because it just, she just blurted it out. She's like, it's not that big.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Yeah. Like, I'm like, what kind of person would blur it out? Like, even though I really, you're the love of my life. You're the love of my, this is what you wrote. You're the, I'm, you're the love of my life. Even though I. I prefer much larger cox. I mean, maybe she's saying how much she loves him without realizing, oh, wait, that's sort of a negative
Starting point is 00:25:31 comp, that's sort of backhanded compliment. Oh, my God. People are so close. But the point being. Please make a good point. Point being, well, I'll let you address the cox size thing. That cox size absolutely doesn't matter. What's more important is how much she loves you, right?
Starting point is 00:25:47 I mean, you can speak to that more than I can, right? But that's not the question here. It's like the cock size and guys, like every girl should know that's like a, that's like a very big thing. It's like weight for women. You know what I mean? You're not going to tell your girl she looks like she gained 10 pounds and what the fuck like she looks happy. You are definitely not going to. Just like you're not going to tell a guy you prefer much larger cock.
Starting point is 00:26:08 I mean, those are the two things that are so obvious that I don't understand. But I was wondering if maybe this came up in a hot wiping situation because sometimes these guys do push their girls to go with guys. with bigger cocks because they like it. They want it. It's compersion. The more they're filled up. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. So I wonder if it's in that sort of context. And, you know, in those situations when you think you're totally okay with it and you're going to be down, but then in the middle of it, you realize, holy shit, I'm not. And this must have happened to you a million times, right?
Starting point is 00:26:43 That's when you have to be honest and raise your hand or right after bring it up and talk it the fuck out, right? Like that's what's most important. those situations. Like that's what's the most important in those situations, correct? Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:30:03 As you're saying, overcommunicate in open relationships. There's no question. So, I mean, if this wasn't a hot laughing situation and she felt she was helping the situation, but obviously she was not, you definitely got to talk to her. And the whole masculinity thing, too, I think you said he, something about masculinity, lost his masculinity or something. And that's, yeah, I, man, I had that happen to me so many times with Jane. And I get that. That is powerful shit. And does that come with them fucking other people? Is that what you mean? I just meant that. So what the markers that I had used in my life to, a lot of the markers I had used to define my own masculinity, I realized a lot of them stemmed from sexuality with my
Starting point is 00:30:46 female partner. And being with Jane removed all those because of who she was. So I just, I looked, I had to find other places. I found more authentic places to find my masculinity with a lot of who I was and how I behaved and how I expressed to the world. So I, this, this particular guy who wrote this question, and if your masculinity suffered, I mean, I understand why it did, and I get that, then you need to sort of realize that, you, you might be defining your masculinity in ways that aren't very healthy for you. Yeah, it's no different. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:23 Yeah. So that's just from the masculinity side, I would say that that's something to look at. But as far as, yeah, you should talk to her and say, let her know that maybe that wasn't the coolest thing to say. I'm sure he did. But like you can't ever take that back. She knows. Anyway, let's go to the next question. This is one question about like, I don't know, to me this is about a word and a term and a
Starting point is 00:31:45 definition, but you might read into it a little bit more. My wife and I have been married for 10 years after a year ago. We discovered her, I discovered the love for her wild sexual past. We have now progressed from talking about her past to wanting to open our marriage. I want to share her with other men, but in no way do I want to be a cuck any advice. Now, to me, I use the word cuck. And I think this is going to go with the masculinity thing. Like, I don't know. Like, does a guy feel like, oh, just because I share my wife, I'm going to be looked at as a cuck? And I think some people do see that kind of a thing because a lot of times you know what I'll get from people when I have guys on that sure their wives people will make a comment like oh you know I guess his wife wasn't satisfied like
Starting point is 00:32:25 some people think or you know that and they don't have a clue about the lifestyle they think that any woman that's going to play with another man is because she's not satisfied by her man at home but a cuck even a cuck it's not for those reasons and a cuck is a very extreme thing you know but just because you're sharing your wife doesn't mean you're fucking cuck yeah I mean I think I devote half a chapter to this very subject about being thought of as a cuck, even though I wasn't one. And the first lesson I had to learn around it was being open does not mean you are a cuck. Now, a lot of other people don't know that, and they may call you a cuck. And so that's why you may think that.
Starting point is 00:33:03 Certainly why I thought that. I didn't really know what a cuck is. Cuck is a very specific kink. It's just, it's a kink. and it's a pretty interesting thing too and it can be really hot. So for me it was A, really educating myself about it and B, then understanding anyone who's using that
Starting point is 00:33:21 in a derogatory way is probably having a pretty boring sex life and you're way ahead of them. I would also say this is something that, at least for me, I struggled with initially. So I would say just keep pushing, get past, you'll get past that initial first year or second and be like, oh, it's not a big deal. I just call yourself a stat.
Starting point is 00:33:42 Yeah, call yourself a stag. That's the word. That's the fucking word. I mean, for me, you know, I had a public, a public girlfriend, wife, and people on the comments sections of all posts were calling, oh, her husband's a cuck, blah, blah, blah. And that was very powerful to me. And it took some time to get through that. This is a good one for you because, you know, I know your view of this girl's question, but I don't think you're the average guy.
Starting point is 00:34:07 So let's try to open our mind and think of the average guy when answering this one. It's, you know, I'm a female in my early 50s single in exploring the lifestyle. I'm interested in the male perspective of having a non-traditional relationship with a very sexually confident woman. And how may I, and how may I need to tread lightly with a new partner? I think what she's asking is, like, how, as a very open, sexually confident woman that will be, do anything, you know, get a guy to like want to put a ring on it because of that whole Madonna horror complex thing that goes down. I think it's a really great question. Yeah. So obviously, Jane was someone who was very obvious. She was very upfront from the beginning, but I think our situation was unique. I do know this. Self-selection is really important. If you obviously need to talk to whatever prospective guy that you are hoping to connect with. And if he's the right guy for you, he'll be curious and be interested. And guys who are totally terrified and say, no, I can't do that or it's unnatural or you're a whore or a slut, whatever, they're absolutely
Starting point is 00:35:15 not the right guy for you to be with. You're in your 50s. You're exploring your sexuality. You need to find a guy that's going to be, fuck. Yeah, let's explore. That sounds fun. So I certainly would bring it up sooner or rather than later if it's how you want to live. And I encourage you to go out and find, that guy who's really to go on that journey with you because it is a fun journey when you have a willing partner. And they are out there. Sure, the people like us, people like you, me, we're the exception, not the rule, but we're out there. And if you keep searching, I think you'll find it. And I, yeah, I think it's great. And nowadays, there's so many specific apps where you could advertise that. And so that you're weeding out the bullshit. And there's so many guys that are in
Starting point is 00:36:03 that same position and would love a woman like that, you know? Listen, if she was 30, I'd say you'd have a lot less. You're fishing out of a bigger pond. You know, she's still, she's fishing out of a smaller pond because in, you know, men in their 50s do buy into that whole thing. Like, I'll fuck you, but I'm not going to date you because you give great head. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know how many guys told me like, oh, you're like that the kind of girl you marry together. You're the kind of girl you fuck. Why? Because I like sex. Like, you know, that was like the thing. You ever look at the difference and this is my favorite thing to do is like whenever I like to, the difference between first wives and second wives, I mean, they're always so different. The second wives
Starting point is 00:36:41 are always like hotter and sluttier looking because they're like going for a very different thing, you know? It's like like years ago when guys are like wanting to marry someone, they're looking like you're going to be the wife of my kid, you know, you're going to be the mother of my kids, you're going to be cooking meat food, you're going to be coming home to my families at Thanksgiving, you know, and then when all that's done and over, they're just getting the girl that they want to fuck that they're like a hot for, you know? It's very different situation. And also, I mean, she's in a like women certainly for me i've really noticed women their 50s are girls gone wild so any guy it's so true they started meeting single women they're 50 and it's like holy shit
Starting point is 00:37:17 what is going on here i was not prepared for that yeah she could to get a younger guy i think if she goes on a good dating app that's much more open like stc first of all you could get a free uh you know free trial with my code at 377.12. Or you could go on field or Tinder or places and just like be like, you know, sort of put out there that you're open. Yeah, there's so many 30 year old guys who want to bang a 50-year-old limit. Really. I think she's looking for though a relationship. I don't know that she's looking. You know, she wants to have a non-traditional relationship, but a relationship, you know, which means she wants to fall in love, not just a fuck. So yeah, I think you're right. The apps are probably a good place to start.
Starting point is 00:38:01 and mixers. And I know this is going to sound a little out there, but try to go to sex parties. Yeah, no, why not? Because you don't have to go and have sex. You can go there and just mingle and meet people and find people who are at least sex positive. I do know, as someone who has frequented a lot of sex parties in my life, there are a lot of people that go and are just voyeurs. They don't want to play it.
Starting point is 00:38:21 They're a voyeur, but they like being in the sex positive environment, and they like meeting people in the sex positive environment. So I would strongly suggest finding some of the more higher-end good sex parties around whatever city you're in. Yeah, listen, you met your girl at a threesome. Casey, who's been on my show, who calls herself a com slut, she loves Bukaki,
Starting point is 00:38:42 all this kind of shit. She has the most lovely boyfriend on the planet. They are so in love, and she's still doing all the things she could do, and he is the loveliest man, and she met him at a threesome. She was like fucking some guy, and he brought that guy in,
Starting point is 00:38:55 and they fell in love. And you know what I mean? So I do believe that there are, you know, there are like-minded people out there, but I think you're going to find them more within the lifestyle than to try to like work in the vanilla world on the regular apps looking, right?
Starting point is 00:39:11 You're going to get more to it by like, meaning people at swinger clubs. Poly cocktails or something. And again, I don't run away from the sex parties, even though because I know there's always a lot of negative connotations with sex parties. Try often, they're just great parties that happens to be sex going on.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Swinger parties or swing or clubs. Like anything. Swinger clubs. Yeah. Just go and have a few drinks and see what you talk to. Yeah, and you're going to meet a lot of people. And then maybe you meet a couple and they're like, we know a single guy, you know, I just think that there are so, listen, there's less men out there that are going to be down to have an open relationship with a woman who, you know, wants to have a gang bang.
Starting point is 00:39:49 But they exist. You're one of them. I've had a million of them on my show. There's plenty of them out there. The great news is she's got to only find one guy, you know, and that guy exists. It's just so you're going to go to the places where those people are hanging out, which is at swinger parties, swinger clubs, meet and greets on the adult, you know, dating apps that are more lifestyle oriented.
Starting point is 00:40:12 That's what I say. I have a guy that said this because I know something about anal and with you is like a big thing. I asked my wife to peg me and she said yes. My problem came in when it started challenging the sociological constructs of male sexuality. Do this mean I was gay? did this mean I was less of a man? What did this mean? I have struggled for the past few years with these things.
Starting point is 00:40:34 I just want to say one thing and then you're going to go off, okay? Because you're a guy and you're going to answer this and you went through this exact thing. But my, because I talk about this all the time of my show. I'm so interested in guys having anal play. And I had a guy on that did a lot of gay shit with his ass and he was a straight guy. And somebody made a comment on my Patreon. I don't even think it was like in public. And he said, you know, oh, you know, pegging is one step away from.
Starting point is 00:40:57 from being gay. And I'm like, that's like so fucking dumb because lesbians strap it on all the time, okay, and fuck their girls all the time. Do you think after they're getting fucked by their girlfriends with a strap on, all of a sudden, you know, a year later, they're like, I want a hairy, fucking sniffling man to fuck me now. I want the real thing. Like, you think just because they're doing that, that she's one step away from being
Starting point is 00:41:27 straight? I don't think so. It doesn't happen that way and it doesn't happen the other way. You get it? Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be hard to top that answer. Sorry. But think about it that way. It's true. I hadn't I hadn't thought about it that way before. Yeah, I would have solved your problems. You went through this. Explain. I did. It was a little different. But so we, yeah, so there's a I just got a little of a background first to explain. She was a very, she's an internet sensation, and she's got a huge social media following, and she announces where she starts talking on her social media. This is James still, right?
Starting point is 00:42:08 This is James. She starts, yeah, and she starts a blog, basically, of all her sexual antics. Some that include me, some that do not include me. That was a challenge in itself. But one day, she posts that she pegged me the other night on her blog. She talks about this pegging night. she and I had. And I had no idea. She was going to post that. And someone called my friend calls me. It was like, hey, so you like pegging, huh? And I was like, well, what makes you say that?
Starting point is 00:42:34 It's like, go check out, go check out Jane's blog. And there was all this detailed about me getting bent over and fucked in the ass with a strap on. And oh my God, I felt like that was, that was really, that was very, very difficult for me. Okay, wait, but stop right there. I want to get because we're going to get to the end of the scenario, right? And you're going to explain everything it went on, but I want to get to before. How did she talk you into it? How did you, had you ever been into ass play before? Was it totally foreign to you? Like, how did it even come about? And then how did you feel about it? And then how did she talk you into it? Or were you like down? Okay. So I was down. Okay. I had, I, I, I always really liked a finger up my ass wrong.
Starting point is 00:43:16 Oh, okay. Cool. That was, that was great. I never had a problem with that. And then she actually wasn't the first person to peg me, like, you know, this is me, this is tough for me to admit. But another girlfriend years ago had done it as well. And it was kind of fun. I was really, really, I was under the influence of alcohol and probably smoked some pot. And I had a great time. And when Jane said she really liked fucking guys in the ass with strap on, I was like, sure, let's do that. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:43:43 And it was great. And it was awesome. And I really enjoyed it. And we did it a couple times. But I, there's one thing about doing it and enjoying it and having fun for it. privacy of your bedroom. It was another thing about having the public. But for me, I didn't really have to get past any internal struggles with it for my own masculinity. It was only when the rest of the world knew it that the real challenge came for me in having to hold my head high and still
Starting point is 00:44:09 hold my masculinity and not feel like I had who's being called a sissy man or whatever the names were. I just wasn't prepared for that to be out in public. So as far as personally, you know, he's talking about the what was the word sociological constructs of male sexuality? Yeah. It absolutely does not mean you are gay.
Starting point is 00:44:30 It doesn't mean anything other than where all those stimulations are. It kind of feels good and it can be the most intense orgasm. I've never had a prostate orgasm, but I have heard that someone who can massage your prostate right will give you the most intense orgasm you have
Starting point is 00:44:46 ever had. So that sounds like pretty good stuff to me and doesn't sound like anything around being gay. So that's something I'm going to look forward to at some point in my life. Find a woman who actually knows how to give a prostate massage. So I, you're not, I understand why you think you might be gay or no, why you think it's gay, but it isn't. It's just another way to enjoy your own sexuality. Well, that's it. Although not everyone feels that way and they do use it against you. Yes, that can be true if you have a public sex life as I did.
Starting point is 00:45:20 Right, but most people don't. I mean, I think that that's a rare thing that most people don't have to deal with that added a lot to your relationship, but most people are not going to deal with that. So listen, if this guy wants to let his wife fuck him in the ass, like, no one needs to find out about it. Like a lot of times people used to say on YouTube, like when I would have people on that were doing really crazy things, they'd be like, well, would their tell their friends or their kids about what they're doing? Like, no, because they're like what they're doing is so fucked up.
Starting point is 00:45:46 It's like vanilla people don't tell them. their friends and their kids what they fucking do. No one's like running around. No, Adults. Yeah, nobody walks around. I was like, oh yeah, by the way, I fucked my wife, you know, doggy style or like no one's telling their kids like me and your dad fucked a missionary last night.
Starting point is 00:46:02 It's no one's business. So, you know, no one needs to find out. But if you are the one with those social constructs in your head, that's where you need to listen to what I just fucking said, okay? It means nothing. It's not going to change anything. you're going to be the same person before, you know. And if you have any issues with wondering or worrying that you're going to be gay from being pegged,
Starting point is 00:46:24 maybe, you know, you have other things going on, you know, and maybe you should find out if you are. Like, don't you want to know? I mean, I remember the first time I've hooked up with a girl. I was like, oh, no, I know I'm not gay because like that was hot, but like it wasn't like the end all be all. How else do you know unless you try it? Just fucking do it. Yeah. Let her fuck you with the ass.
Starting point is 00:46:42 Absolutely. Yeah. So, yes, it does not mean you're gay unless you want to. And here can I also want to say another thing, how lucky is this guy? He asks his wife to peg him and she says, yes, that's awesome. You know, not every woman's going to be cool with that. So good. Congratulations.
Starting point is 00:46:57 You have a great relationship with your wife where you guys are doing all kinds of kinky, freaky shit. It's great. Yeah, I think it's interesting, though, that this was a guy that knew he was into it and was bold enough to ask his wife, yet at the same time has this insecurity and is asking you. It's interesting that both those things exist in the same person. you know, right? Yeah, but I don't think it's that abnormal. I think if there's stuff that's edgy. I just wonder, you know, the psychologist and me that digs deep into everything,
Starting point is 00:47:26 I wonder, like, maybe you need to, like, you know, listen, you were the one that wanted to get pegged. You obviously, like, was interested in it, you know, like, maybe you need to figure out if you're gay in other ways, like, because why are you still thinking about it for the past few years, like, about whether you are? Like, maybe there's something else going on because, you know, you're, you know, you You're the one that asked. She said yes.
Starting point is 00:47:48 So where is the sociological constructs coming? Like I think it's your own, it's something inside of him. And maybe that something inside of him isn't social constructs. And maybe it's something else. I don't know. Maybe you need to look into it. Yeah. Listen, I'm, you know, I'm all for introspection.
Starting point is 00:48:08 I'm all for digging deep into your own psyche. What was it? Aristotle, a well-examined life is the only life worth living. Yeah, my favorite. It's so true. Yeah. It's so fucking true. No, my favorite quote is, know thyself.
Starting point is 00:48:22 Know thyself. That's my favorite fucking quote of all time. And it's harder, it's harder said than done, right? Yeah. You spend your whole life trying to know yourself, right? That's what it's about. And you never really do because you're constantly changing. So you're always having to relearn and learn new stuff about yourself.
Starting point is 00:48:39 So yeah, I mean, this guy, yeah, explore. Explore. Maybe you are gay. Try, see if talk to your wife. See if she'll let you meet with a guy. you don't like guys, if you don't dream about sucking cock, if you don't dream about guys, you're probably not gay. Not that it matters if you are. You can like your wife and like men. That's, it's all good. Yeah. And listen, I've had a great episode with Dr. Joe Cord who talks about
Starting point is 00:49:00 the difference between erotic orientation and sexual orientation, right? And that's the difference between a guy who likes to suck a dick just because it's hot and it's in the moment, as opposed to a guy who likes to suck a dick because he likes guys. And I have had many guys on my show that like to suck a dick, but they're like, but I don't like guys. And then here comes this brilliant genius PhD guy, Dr. Joe Corton, he's a gay man. And gay men love to be like, you know, it's like the typical gay man that like wants to peg every straight guy is gay. And he was here to say that. Listen, guys could suck a dick and not be gay or by or even into guys. And he said it's the difference between your erotic orientation, like maybe just in the moment you're going to be doing
Starting point is 00:49:39 something, but it doesn't mean anything outside of that moment. And that's difficult than your sexual orientation, which is who you. like and what you're into, you know? And sometimes some piece. So maybe this guy, you know, should listen to those episodes because whenever I air those episodes and I bring up this stuff that I learned, I get a lot of emails from guys being like, oh, thank you so much. You totally cleared it up for me.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Because I think it might be confusing to a guy that like sucks a dick or likes to get pegged. And he's like, am I gay? I don't know. You know, like it's because, and that's what I love about all these new labels and all this new shit that comes out because I think it does help people try to figure stuff out. Because there is something called erotic orientation. and maybe that's what you need to look into and figure it out. Last question, and this is like, you know, I don't know that you want to give up too much.
Starting point is 00:50:21 People are going to go, if people want real information, really want to push past their stuff, they're going to buy your buck. It's a really interesting story. They should also listen to your first episode here in Jane's episode, okay, because she says, you won't believe how hardcore she was and what you went through with her. But the last question was, you know, while your story was certainly titillating, in the end, I found myself more fascinated by your story of how you use your ability to focus your mind, confront your challenges, learn from these challenges and make more informed
Starting point is 00:50:45 decisions based on what you learned. So is that something that anyone could learn? Like, I know that you're not going to give out everything that you did in your book. People are going to have to read the book because it was a long, drawn out process. But do you believe at the end of the day, as someone who's been there done that and you did learn that anyone can learn it by using the same things you did, even if they're not a fucking mountain climber? Yes, is the short answer. But it requires you to have a desire to get out of your comfort zone. That is the most important, the most important thing, right? You have to be able to take your body and your brain out of where you're comfortable and go places that are like, okay, I don't know how I'm going to do this. I don't know how I'm
Starting point is 00:51:23 going to react. And then, you know, you don't go too far. You go over the line a little bit and you feel it out. And then you come back here, okay, did that make sense? Did that make sense? Do I like that? Do I not like that? You need to be very introspective. You need to have a desire to learn and grow and you and it doesn't matter where your line is. So many people have said, oh, you're, where you're doing is so here and I'm stuck it down here. I'm like, it doesn't matter where you are. If you're afraid to leave your house, then just step outside your door and come back. Just push yourself beyond your comfort zone. The most important thing you need to do is get comfortable in that, in being in a place that's slightly uncomfortable for yourself.
Starting point is 00:52:02 And so I do think everyone can learn to push themselves to go be. beyond where they're comfortable to see, because who knows what's on the other side of that comfort line, right? What you also have to, one of the things that I always say to myself is I want to make sure I'm living the best life I possibly can, and I want to make sure fear isn't preventing me from living my best life. Yeah. Be it fear of social judgment or whatever it is, or fear of failure, whatever that is, I want to live my best life. I want to have all be. I want to be an experience hunter. I want to go from fun, fun stuff that I can look back and say, yeah, I was living to the fullest.
Starting point is 00:52:41 And the only way to do that is if you get into that discomfort, get out of your comfort zone. Don't be forced to live a mundane life because you're afraid. Face fear. Take it one step at a time. Take little steps, not big steps. Take little steps. And the more you do it, the more comfortable you're going to get being uncomfortable. The more comfortable you're going to get being in a place that, you're going to be in a place that,
Starting point is 00:53:04 You don't exactly know how to act and you're kind of trying to be making it up as you go along. But you're also going to find out things about yourself that are awesome that you never knew. And the only way to do that is by going to the unknown. Yeah. And I'm going to quote Tom Cruise here. Don't think, do. Okay? It's Topka Maverick.
Starting point is 00:53:21 Don't think do. That's what, you know, I always think in situations. Like, you know, just when you're overthinking and afraid and fear comes up, just do it. Just, you know, move forward. Push yourself like you said. And I'm going to tell somebody. something that maybe people aren't really considering. I've talked to a lot of people who have been before they've entered into hot wifing or an open relationship and they've never seen their
Starting point is 00:53:46 partner with someone else and they were very concerned that jealousy was going to come up and they didn't know how they were going to feel. And so many of the times, none of that does come up. Listen, it probably wouldn't have even come up with you if you were with like just a regular open girl. you just happen to be with such an extreme that it did. And now you have that secret, which I love, right? Like that of how to conquer it and you learn this like really important thing. But for a lot of people, they're going to, you know, wind up doing it. And maybe no jealousy is going to come up. And it's just going to be compersion. And they're just going to totally do it. And I've heard that so many times. I love those moments, those first moments. And I love asking the people the question. Like would you have bet a million dollars before you saw your partner with someone else that you would be jealous? And I'll, A lot of times they were like, yes, but they weren't. So you don't know until you try it.
Starting point is 00:54:34 You do not know until you try it. Yeah, but the key thing is, is you need to be in a solid relationship where if it does come up, that when you leave and you go home, you could talk about your insecurities and your partner is not going to hold it against you. They're going to totally, you know, validate them and you're going to talk about it and you're not going to do it again until you're comfortable or whatever that is. And that's a difference between couples who are successful and couples who are not successful. And for this person who wrote, I don't remember if it was a man or a woman,
Starting point is 00:55:07 but you have to come to the mindset of believing that life will be better with challenges, not in spite of them, right? It's because of the challenges, not in spite of them. So if you can wrap your brain around that and be like, okay, the more I challenge myself and push myself to go places, it's going to be better. overcoming challenges, finding out what I like, what I don't like. Yeah, life is, God, there's so much out there. There's so many incredible experiences to have.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Yeah, and you are in the incredible wait, but let's just talk about the incredible experiences you had to sell your fucking book because this is what they're going to read in your book. Like the experiences you're talking about, let's forget about all your rock climbing and shit is like gangbanks, threesomes, foursums, orgies, like DVPs, DPs, like you live at all with your girl, right? I mean, those were the things that pushing past your fear got you to experience. You've had probably like all the sex that every guy fantasizes about with a woman that you were in love with.
Starting point is 00:56:07 I got to live out anything I wanted. I mean, it was amazing. She was incredibly supportive about everything sexually. I know she wasn't supportive emotionally, but that's a whole different story. But it was, God, the adventures we went on, the sexual adventures we went on, the people we met, and the women I got to have sex with and the threesome, foursomes, more something. And like that the whole thing with Marilyn with the, oh, it's not that big. That was just an amazing night.
Starting point is 00:56:30 That was one little funny bit. But that night I had been fantasizing about the night and she made it happen. Yeah. It was amazing. And I'm still friends with Marilyn. Yeah, love it. And it's just, and there's an endless, there's so many sex stories that actually didn't make it into the movie. It was an amazing life I got to lead.
Starting point is 00:56:47 And it was really hard. It was really challenging. But my God, was it satisfying. Was it worth it? And it was worth it. God damn thing. It was worth it because it was experience hunting at the extreme level. I was just, I was so out of my comfort zone and into something new.
Starting point is 00:57:03 And what I found behind the curtain was, holy shit, this is, like, I'd never been to a sex party before. And then there was this one, there's one sex party. They had sex with six women one night. It's like, I'd never experience anything like that. And I'm not saying that's what I want. Like, that's not actually what I want going forward, but I got to experience it. It was amazing. Yeah, I love it.
Starting point is 00:57:24 And you got me guests because of all these things. You got me, Jane, you got me people who run sex parties, the hot ones, top floor people. I mean, like, this is the world that you live in because of those guys are great. Because of those risks that you took, you know what I mean? And that's why it's called your book. It's such a great title. Seek the risk. You did.
Starting point is 00:57:44 And you went there. And it paid off, right? Oh, it paid. And it's paid off my entire life. Yeah. It paid off in this particular way. Yeah. I feel very satiated sexually, which is a great feeling in that I'm not out there just, oh, I got to do this, I can do that.
Starting point is 00:58:02 I'm like, I feel pretty good. And now in the life I'm living now, the sexual life I'm living, I feel very confident of going into a situation. I've done so much stuff and I am interacting with women. And it's just, it's a very, it's a very nice place to be. And I'd never, I wouldn't be here if I hadn't gone through all that with Jane. if I hadn't pushed myself to go there with Jane. I mean, sexually, I learned so much, too, in terms of techniques, in terms of things to do. I was exposed to so much sex during these 10 years.
Starting point is 00:58:30 It was mind-blowing. Yeah, and I hear it all the time from couples who are together and still together and went through this, and whether they're still doing it or not, if it's done successfully and everyone's cool and you do sort of cross those lines, it could add so much to your relationship, you know, and I have so many stories of people who want to hear your. story, the whole one. They should buy your book. I told you for real and I'm not a bullshit or I got a lot of emails from people that loved your effing book, thought it was really well written and then you literally got hundreds of these questions. That's why we decided to do
Starting point is 00:59:04 the Q&A from people. So why don't you give out the information? You have a website right, where they could go and find information on your book and buy your book and all that good stuff, right? Why don't you get that out? I'll put it in the description. Yeah, seek the risk. And yeah, it's just a simple website. You can buy the book on Barnes & Noble, Amazon. The audio book's out too now on Audible and Google Play and Spotify. What's funny is Jane and I read our parts. Oh, you do?
Starting point is 00:59:34 Who reads the rest? Do you both read the whole thing? Oh, you read the whole thing. Okay. But on the parts where Jane's voices, it's actually Jane. So you get to hear of music. We had a lot of fun recording it. It was really fun.
Starting point is 00:59:46 I will add one last thing to what you were saying right before we were doing the ending quotes. is about the journey in that the one thing that I did not expect is that this journey brought me Jane and I closer together by oh, by kind of going down and pushing myself and getting there, we got unbelievably close. Now, I think everyone knows already that we ended up parting after 10 years, but in the middle of our relationship, that journey that I went on drew us together. I've never been, I'd never been as close to someone before as I've been to her once I got through all that. So I highly recommend pushing yourself to go where his own. comfortable because you don't know what you're going to find.
Starting point is 01:00:22 If you're both down for it. Yeah, I've heard that so many times. I hear that more often than not. I, you know, listen, I love a swinger gone wrong story, and I have them. But I have a lot that go right. And when they do, they are closer for it, just like you said. So I will put the link in the description to your book. Thank you so much for calling in and giving all this information. And where could people email you through your website if they want more questions? Do you email these people back? I do everyone who e-mail me. Everyone who emails me, I email them back with a personal, it's no form responses.
Starting point is 01:00:58 I take the time to respond to everyone because I really appreciate you guys taking the time to respond to me. I know a number of you, there was a number of people who have the books, and I really ask everyone who's read it, please give me a review on Amazon. I really need those. So I'm asking if you read it and liked it, please, please let's see if we can get this, this, book or you read it and like it in the future go write a review after too is what you're saying. Love it.
