Yes, I am. I have been on HRT for about 15 years. I, yeah. And now did you start, let me ask you this, because I started when I was like in peri menopause. Did you start the minute you got into menopause? Did you start so many years later? Like, when did you pick it up? No, no, no.

I picked it up almost immediately upon menopause. Okay. I did not recognize myself. I was like, who is this morning? And I was, it was so distressing. I remember looking in the mirror saying, who are you? Because I lost my sex drive, my mood. I became somewhat like a cry baby.

And I was never a cry baby. And my hair changed and my skin changed. And I was determined to try something. Like, right, I have to have it back. I have to. I take my period back. Well, it's funny because, you know, everyone has this word carins. And I think a lot of the carins you see out and about are women that just like are in menopause and not on hormones. Me and my son were in a store the other day and some lady went mental because we like bumped into her cart and she was still going mental like 20 minutes later to some guy. And I said to my son like, you know, when you see me do those needles, you know, a couple times a week. That's why I do it. So I'm not like that woman, that poor woman. You know, because she looked like, you know, she looked like in her 50s, probably like, you know, a woman without hormones.

I know. That's stupid shit. That's what it is. You become a Karen. You become a Karen. Well, what I call him is I said, look at that woman. I said, does she look like a woman who's getting fucked? Hell no.

And you've been happy with them. Yeah. That's awesome. Yeah. And so the pellets are rejected every three months. Literally, I've had, after I had Linda on who went on to the pellets and then started having ging bangs, I went and got on the pellets. Because I've done hormones in every way, shape, and form. I've done the creams.

I've done the patches. I've done the pellets. And I've done the injections. Now, I prefer the injections only because of my body metabolizes things so fast and I work out so hardcore that it was like it went away my pellets so fast and I just didn't want to keep up that keep up because when you say it is important to do in first priority, like if you're on hormones to keep them regulated, like you can't miss a month and you know what I mean? Like it would fuck you up. Oh, no, no. So it's right. Yeah.

So I think I just went on the injections because it was easier to keep me stabilized and not miss shit and not have to get an appointment and all that stuff. But people talk about the pellets being like the best thing ever. So now, were you married when all this was going on or were you single? So no, that's the irony was I had gotten married. I had, I was in my second marriage and went into menopause relatively soon after getting married. And it was, you know, I'm generally like a size two, size four. Yeah. And went to like a size 14.

Horrifying. I mean, it was just, I was like, wait a minute. I remember going to the GYN, your typical GYN, right? You know, just your regular old guy, right? And I, you know, I told him, I said, something's not right. He said, oh, you're just a menopause. He really, really just, like, kind of dismissed what I was going through. Of course.

And I was, I remember breaking down in his office and saying, look at me. I look like a football player. I am not a football player. Yeah, no, I get it. And he just didn't get it. And I was like, you know, fuck you. I am going to fight. And so I just researched and researched.

And I found a physician in Dallas, flew to Dallas. And come to find out years later, I found out that this doctor was pretty much, you know, world-renowned. So I kind of looked up. Wow, I love that. What was the doctor's name? Maybe I'll have them on. I'm starting to do a series, a sexual health series thing. If you could think of the name, just send it to me after.

The sex drive was better. My hair went back to the way it used to be. my skin and I just felt better and I felt like myself again and that's I just can't recommend it enough you know when I was I'm semi-retired right now but you know with some of my colleagues I would just look at him I'm like girl get on some pallets I know I know I mean nowadays thank God there's so many more people coming out and talking about how that one study that was so anti-hormones that freaked everybody the fuck out, including the whole medical community. You know, they've sort of refuted it. And, you know, and now everyone's realizing they're not as dangerous as they were. I was always on them and I've been on them. And I always did my research search beyond that one study that everyone stopped at and was like, oh, fuck that. You know, so I always felt like, and, you know, like you're actually going to be healthier if you're on them than if you're not. It's not the opposite. But and I love the way you roll. Like, listen, I always say there's like problem havers and there's problem solvers. I mean, you got it on a fucking plane. That's a problem solver. Okay. You're not a problem, have her.

You're a problem solver. Like, when you were like, I got on a plane, I'm like, I like this bitch. She's got a problem and she's going to solve it. That's the way I am. If I get a problem, I do not stop until I solve it and then I move on with my life. You know what I mean? That's right. That's right.

Yes. Yeah, I love it. Okay, so you get on your pellets. Now, are you, so you're married at that time? Like you said, you got married at a size two. You gained all this weight. Like, did you get divorced around that time or were you still with your husband? Well, just career past took us.

in opposite directions literally and, you know, to different parts of the country and whose career was more important and then eventually was divorced. Okay, so let's get to the point where you're doing like lifestyle stuff because I know that that is not happening anymore so it happens previously. Like when did you start getting freaky? So let me tell you, this is a great story. You got to love this. So right before, you know, the end of that marriage occurred, I remember saying, him, hey, we've been invited to go on this really cool trip down in the Caribbean. Let's go.

And we had spent the summer with a bunch of my friends. And he said, hell no, I'm going home. We've spent the whole summer with your friends. I'm not interested in doing that. And so I was in a different part of country. And I was like, I was not happy with that answer. Our kids had grown. We were empty nesters.

Both of us relatively successful in our careers, you know, had plenty of money. And I was like, come on, let's go play. Let's go have fun. Like here's the time. Yeah. He said, no. So I said, I'm going shopping, right? So I went shopping.

So I have this fella that I met, like, I don't know, four or five years ago on Tinder. And I could tell immediately we really didn't click. He's a nice man.
