And it was very sudden and abrupt when I would have the feelings of jealousy.

We're both grateful that that hasn't happened in a long time. Yeah, that's where I wanted to know. So, like, that's where you were two years ago, very early on in the beginning when you were having all your first. And two years later, you could stand it. Do you even need to look at that tattoo anymore? Honestly, sometimes I still need to self-talk. Yeah. and remind myself that this is just, you know, this is just fun and it doesn't have anything to do with

the security of our relationship. And, you know, in the end, it's just him and me. And this just adds to the spice. Right. And so sometimes that still happens, but it's less often than when you first started? It's less often. And I am more able to talk myself out of the negative feelings. Right.

There were times when she would crawl up into the fetal position in the corner in the beginning. It was pretty extreme. Yeah, but let me ask you the question that maybe some people are thinking and it comes into my mind. Like why instead of just saying, you know what, this is obviously not for me because I'm having these negative feelings? Why say, oh, I'm going to push past those feelings and force myself to do, like, you know, and make myself comfortable with doing this? Yes. I knew it would be, it could, it had so much potential to have so much. our sex lives.

When we have a party, there's probably more lifestyle friends there than vanilla friends. Oh, so you were intermingling them. And our youngest son knows. You're kidding.

How did he find out? No, well, it started when he was looking through my drawers for a t-shirt and he found condoms. Yeah. Oh, and he was like, what the fuck is. And he's like, he came to me, he said, dad, two things. One, why do you have condoms? And two, I took some. And I'm like, feel free to take as many as you.

If you need them, take them. And I said, it's for when your mom and I role play. So, you know, if your mom pretends to pick a guy up from the bar, she's not going to come home and fuck him without a condom. Yeah. He didn't buy it. Yeah. I thought that was very clever.

Yeah, that was a good save. That was a good try. And then your son's obviously smart like you are. And then what did he say? He pretended to buy it. And then it's some piming and holley whether we should have a discussion with him. We decided to tell him, long story short. He said, let me guess before you tell me.

And he guessed correctly. and and I asked him, I said, how does that make you feel? He's like, well, you guys honestly went up a notch. Oh, really? Like, now he thinks you're a little cooler. Yeah. Our oldest son may never know. How old is that son that knows?

How old was he with this all happen? He's 27 now, so he was 24. Wow, interesting. That's crazy. He's very sexually woke. Yeah, he's. Our oldest son, I think, doesn't know anything besides missionary. And his, I feel sad for his.

wife a little bit. Oh my God, you're so funny. But wait so... He may never know. He would have a stroke. Yeah, I get it. So the son that found out is the right one to have found out and he was cool with it. Yeah.

Yeah, that's amazing. So, and now you just started to like throw parties and invite like lifestyle people with your vanilla friends. Like, it's very bold of you to do. Oh, they, they know to be the street. We tend to be friends more than just play friends with, with the people. that we meet usually. Yeah. So we have a couple that we met at the very beginning, four years ago.

We've seen them more as vanilla friends than... Hookups. But we've also gone camping and bucked in a tent and went to Santa Barbara and went to a nude beach. And so it's really, this is perfect. That's what we want. We try to set up friends with benefits. This is really the optimum. Yeah, I love that.

And how many besides that couple, do you have other people that you feel like fit that same category for you guys? Yeah. Um, our unicorns are more than you, David, Damien calls them, uh, a friendicorn. So the single women. Yeah, there's been a couple. They're harder to find, obviously. But you have. We've had, we've had three friendicorns.

Not at one time. They've sort of been sequential. Yeah. So wait, when your vanilla friends have found out or you told them like, what is their typical reaction? They're usually like, the last person I said, he's like, I never would have guessed. That's the last thing I would have guessed, but good for you. Yeah, yeah.

Oh, but we told our friends who said, I'm not surprised. Really? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I'm not surprised. He's like, I didn't expect it, but now that you say it, you know, I can see that. Oh, my God. So you guys come across as a little freaky, maybe. Well, we don't hide that we're a little freaky.

Yeah. It's probably what's our oldest son. Yeah, but like you said, you always were. I mean, you guys always played. with different things and stuff even before you got in the lifestyle, right? That's what you were saying about yourself. Yeah, I had a dungeon before I even moved to California in 92. Yeah.

Oh, so you were just destined for this. And you met the right woman. I mean, you guys are perfectly suited for each other. Rachel, I'm going to have my guy Adam send you that book, okay?
