In my description is links to everything that I just talked about.
Now, today I have on Mark.
Mark's got a super interesting story.
It starts out talking about like how he went on testosterone when he got a little bit older
and why he went on it and what he was experiencing.
He got on the gel.
He was taking it.
It was doing all that it's supposed to.
and he was feeling great.
And then he went to another doctor and had some levels checked and something looked a little bit
odd.
So his doctor threw in an extra test, a prolactin test.
And that was like super high.
So he sent him to an endocrinologist.
So when he got there, he found it he had like this pituitary tumor called a prolactanoma.
And he talks all about that.
Like he had no idea he had this.
It was like a legion that was growing that was tanking his testosterone.
That's why it was so low.
He was just thinking it was because of old age.
but it was because of this benign tumor that was growing.
Because he caught it early and that doctor was smart enough to take that test.
He's been able to take medication.
Medication has shrunk it over time.
He talks all about that journey.
He's still on the testosterone.
His levels are great.
He's all good.
But he really wanted to come on the show and talk about the story because he's never heard
it talked about before.
And he's hoping that maybe there's other guys out there that would go and get this test
and it would help them because he had zero symptoms of having this lesion growing.
And if you don't know, and it grows too big, instead of taking medication like he did, you'd have to have it surgically removed.
And so it's kind of like a warning because you just never know.
A lot of times people that are older, both men and women, chalk up their symptoms to old age like he did.
Like, oh, I'm feeling a little tired and I have very low testosterone.
This is all age related.
He's 55.
But it wasn't.
So you never know.
This is a cautionary tale.
I think it's a super interesting episode.
I hope some guys, you know, listen to him and go get their levels checked because of his story.
That's really why he's telling it.
So I'm going to get right to be right back on with Mark.
Hey, Mark, welcome to the strictly anonymous podcast.
How are you today?
I'm great, Kathy.
Pleasure to talk to you.
Yeah, pleasure to have you on.
You, you know, you weren't doing great at some point.
You did have like a medical issue.
I started a new Sexual Health Saturday's series now.
And so when I get emails like yours or a message,
I forget how you contact me about something you were dealing with.
It was like a low testosterone thing.
But you found out some like really interesting information about why you had low testosterone and got help.
And I was like, oh, that's like such a great kind of interesting story, right?
Because maybe it will be, it'll, you know, resonate with somebody else or it'll help somebody else figure out why they are having the issues they have.
So I was like, come on and tell your story.
And that's what we're going to talk about, what you were dealing with, the symptoms you had,
what it wound up being, how you find out, all that kind of good stuff, right?
Great.
Okay, so Mark, I mean, you're not a swinger, you're not in the lifestyle, but you're
married, right?
I am married, but, you know, the contact wasn't to talk about.
Sex life, right, but I'm just saying, but listen, if you have low sex, if you have low testosterone,
it probably affected your intimate life with your wife, no?
You know, the intimacy and also just general overall feeling of life, you know, the things that make you feel, I guess, more masculine.
You know, I started having the feelings when I was around 55.
Okay.
You know, I know some people tend to feel differently when they're a lot younger and all that, but honestly, I didn't start thinking about it and, and,
feeling really anything much different until I was a little bit older than most, more than likely.
Yeah. Okay. So what did you notice? Well, just, you know, the time span between intimacies,
the just feeling a lot more tired physically. It's a big thing. That's a big thing that comes
with low testosterone, right? It can be definitely be something that is hormone related for both men
and women. Yeah. Yeah. And, you know, the other thing is kids move out, kids get married, you know,
life changes.
You don't have as much demand anymore on providing and, you know, taking care of things.
So you find yourself with a little bit more time.
And, you know, you come home from work and all of a sudden you're crashed out in the chair.
And it's like, what the hell just happened?
You know, it's like, wait a minute.
Why am I falling asleep like my grandfather does, you know?
Right.
After you've been like on, like running wild, right, with kids and doing everything and being super,
busy all your life, right? All of a sudden, it's a very big change. Right. Multiple jobs and,
you know, everything to keep the family going. Keep everybody happy. Yeah. And in a weird way that
keeps you going. Listen, I did think so backwards. And in a weird way, a lot of people would be like,
oh, my God, how can you have kids when you're so much older? Like, I hear older, you know,
women who had kids when they were younger talk about women that have them when they're older,
like, oh, I can never do it. I don't have the energy. I'm like, but what you don't understand,
because I had my child when I was 46 and I'm 55 with a 9 year old. Like my, I have so much
fucking energy because I have my kid.
Do I mean?
Like I have no choice.
I am like it like rejuvenates your life.
Keeps you fucking going.
Like I to me it made me young again.
Like it's weird, you know.
But you know, most people though aren't experienced that.
Most people are exactly where you're at.
And maybe it's 45 or 50 or 55, right?
Everybody has this kind of like it's, it is the typical life change that happens that
you're talking about that you experience as well as the physical symptoms that go
with it.
And I have listened to so many of your shows to where exactly what we're talking about.
It seems like the kids have gotten older for some of these folks and they've slowed down and they've talked about dipping into the, you know, the medical derivatives for helping them or bringing them back to where they feel, you know, younger again or virile or what have you.
Yeah.
So tell me your journey.
So like you start to start feeling these things.
So first of all, you're not as like into sex as as you used to, right?
there's a lot of time in between maybe you want it, right?
You notice maybe your sex drive going down.
Is that one of the first things as well as the tiredness?
Yeah, yeah.
It's all in there.
And, you know, at that point, you hear about testosterone.
You hear about, you know, low tea, you know, the advertisements, blah, blah, blah, that's out there.
And you go, you know what, let's go talk to the doctor.
So I talked to my primary care physician, went in there and, you know, it's,
Yeah, I'm tired all the time, so on and so forth.
What about testosterone, so on so.
So it's like, well, let's get you tested, right?
So the doctor gets a basic blood test and he goes, oh, yeah, it's looking like it's a little low.
You know, we can search on gel and go from there.
So at about 55, you know, Bing, Bang, Boom, I'm on testosterone gel.
And the first thing that comes about is after a few months, you go get another blood test.
and bam, I'm up to 900, you know, in the testosterone range.
And the doctor's like, well, that's, that's pretty high, you know.
Looks like it's working for you.
It's like, oh, great.
So let me just clear something up because somebody made a comment about a guy's episode.
I just aired.
His name was Tom, and he had a free pass from his wife.
And he was like, you know, I look pretty good for my age.
He happened to be in his early 60s.
And he was fucking jacked.
He sent me in this picture of like him.
totally jacked up in great, you know, shape.
And he talked about being on testosterone.
Somebody was like, oh, my God, that's what happens when you take royds at.
Like, that's ridiculous and you shouldn't look like this.
Like, I don't think people understand that.
It's not considered like Royd or like my brother just went on testosterone because I told
him like he probably needs it.
He's a little bit older.
He's tired.
He also has kids.
And it changes life.
And he was like being really angry on vacation with my sister.
My sister's like, oh, he's going through Royd rage.
I'm like, I don't think you understand.
Like, right rage is when young guys who have very high testosterone levels are jacking up their testosterone to get muscle in the gym.
You know what I mean?
Where they are like going above and beyond.
When an older man takes testosterone to get to a regular level that he was when he was younger, there's no fucking road rage going on.
You know what I mean?
Like, you're not, like, this isn't the same thing.
You're not, you're not, like, when young guys are doing it in the gym, it's dangerous and they get roid rage because they're doubling.
they have regular, healthy, high levels of testosterone
if they're supposed to, and then they're like doubling it, right,
to build muscle.
That's not what's happening when older people are taking testosterone.
Okay, so shut the fuck up with Royd rage.
Nobody's having a kidding of Royd rage when you're taking testosterone.
You're just getting the levels that you had when you were younger,
but they're still like normal levels.
They're just not normal levels for a six-year-olds because most six-year-olds don't have any,
but it's okay to have those levels.
You know what I mean?
They're not overly high, like,
you're going to be like a mental patient. Okay. Did you know that May is the official
international masturbation month? So why not celebrate by not only learning how to get yourself off
better this month, but also learn new ways to get your partner off? And you know where you're
going to find all those new ways. It's on Beducated. Begicated.com really is like the Netflix

Again, go to the description, click on the link, and use my code anonymous. You're just getting the
levels that you had when you were younger, but they're still like normal levels. They're just not
normal levels for a 60-year-olds because most 6-year-olds don't have any, but it's okay to have those
levels. You know what I mean? They're not overly high like you're going to be like a mental
patient. Oh yeah. Yeah. No, I agree completely. Sorry, I just need to say that because I think some people that
don't know anything about it are very ill-advised and they look and they think that it's like, oh, you're
giving yourself too much or something, but that's not what's happening here. And so even when you went to
your doctor and you were at a 900, now what was the difference of your feeling like the, you know,
and how did you experience the differences? Was it right away? Like what happened when you started taking it?
And how were you taking it? You're taking it via like a gel? Yeah. So the initial, uh,
The gel was Androgel.
Okay.
And the directions on that were under the arms.
And then after a while, it was changed to, oh, boy, I'm going to blow it.
It's actually just right around the corner.
It's the more common gel that's out there now.
Okay.
And you actually rub it on the upper part of the arms.
I mean, there was a change in where to place it.
Yeah, interesting.
I don't know why.
So, you know, over a period of a few years.
I was taking it.
You know, it seemed to level me out.
I mean, it certainly didn't turn me into a super jock.
I kept.
Well, you got to fucking work out.
That's what people don't understand, too.
Okay, I'm sorry, you could take as much testosterone as you want.
If you sit home eating popcorn, you're not going to get muscle.
You get muscle and you get jacked like my caller who's ended by going to the gym and
working your ass off.
The only thing is if you don't have testosterone, you can work out and you're not going
to get muscle.
But anyone that has muscles in their body, it's not just from testosterone.
It's from working out.
Okay.
You need to work out.
to get muscles. So, sorry. Oh, no, no, I absolutely agree. And I actually have never really had a bad
workout routine. I mean, I have kept myself in, in shape, albeit, you know, round, but strong and, you know,
great heart and great endurance and all that. But I can't say that the testosterone,
own help me shred anything or built huge muscles or anything like that.
You would have had to enhance me.
No, no, no, you would have had to have done that.
You would have had to change your workout routine, okay?
That's the point.
Like when these people were saying, oh, this guy's looking, he looks like that,
he's taking testosterone.
He looks like that because he works his fucking ass off in the gym.
I'm a gym person.
I work out weights and I have a killer body and I have muscles.
And people that have muscles in their body work their asses off for it.
Just taking testosterone.
I'm not saying this just for you. I'm saying this for people that are listening, right, that don't
understand this too. Like, you just take testosterone, people think, oh, testosterone equals muscle.
It's only equals muscle and more muscle and easier muscle mass if you go and actually do a workout.
So you're going to get shredded now if you wanted to, if you went to the gym and worked out like a fiend with weights,
you know what I mean? But if that was never your thing and that was never how you worked out and now you're on testosterone,
that's not going to happen. But that doesn't mean that you're not going to get all the other benefits from it.
I agree with you.
It certainly does help you get that path going, absolutely.
Yeah, so now did you notice your symptoms, like list the symptoms that you felt and how they came on?
Like, was it immediately you felt like less tired?
Did you feel less horny?
Like, after a month?
Like, how did you experience it when you started?
Like, what was your experience when you started?
Yeah, no, it did not supercharge me in any direction.
it just seemed to provide a little bit better balance, less tired.
Yeah.
It, you know, the intimacy was, you know, back to, you know, more regular intervals during the week.
It didn't have me chasing, you know, chicken around the coup, right?
Yeah, that's important.
Yeah, because would you have wanted that at your age anyway?
No.
I don't know.
You tell me.
You know, unlike the testosterone and pellets my wife is taking, which is supercharged her,
but that's a whole different story.
Yeah, well, let me tell you, when I had the woman on that took the pellets and she said she had
gangbraid, she was like a six-year-old woman that went on pellets and was like having gangbangs,
and she was like vanilla.
I ran out and got pellets because I wanted to be overly horny, like a crazy person, you know.
But I'm on the same kind of hormones like you were, just much more of a like a regular
balance that brings you back to normal levels and everything is like more.
more normal and regulated.
Yes, yes, absolutely, absolutely.
So that, you know, so I got, basically got in a normal level, and it certainly seemed like
I was operating at a normal level, and things were fine.
So essentially, let's see, 55 or so taking the testosterone gel, I retire from a job that I'm at
and pick up another job over in California.
I'm based in, you know, a different state than California.
And head over to California.
My wife is still back here in the home state,
and I'm now living and working remotely,
a situation we've been in a few times.
And I need to pick up a new primary care physician.
So I'm running, you know, I have to redo all my medications,
one of them being testosterone.
So I visit with the new primary care physician, given the list of meds, testosterone being one of them.
And he runs the blood test, sees the testosterone level.
But he also includes something else in there, something called prolactin levels.
Oh, yeah, I know about that.
And when he saw that prolactin level in the initial blood test, he went, you know, I'm going to refer you to a urologist.
I'm not just going to give you the testosterone prescription.
I'm going to have you go see a urologist about this.
Because your prolactin level was not right.
Is that why?
It was out of range.
Yeah, it was out of range.
Even though you were on testosterone and should have been in range maybe with the testosterone
is what he was thinking.
Right.
And I thought that was kind of unique because the primary care physician that I was
under care before in my home state never even looked twice at that.
Yep.
So went to the urologist on the referral.
Urologists looked at it and he explained to me that this type of condition with a high prolactic level,
which was the equivalent of, you know, I basically looked like I was pregnant.
Oh, wow.
Interesting.
Yeah, it was in the high 40s, which is way out of range.
What's the normal for a guy your age?
Well, I can tell you that.
Yeah.
I can tell you that.
Give me just a second.
You don't understand. This is the kind of stuff I'm, like, very into.
Like, when I get my blood labs back, like, I go and Google, like, crazy.
Like, I find all the stuff interesting.
That's why I started my sexual health Saturdays because I find medical information and data and everything, like, super interesting.
Yep.
So what is the prolactin level, the normal level?
So the normal prolactin level for a male is, it says here, 2.5 to 22.5.
Let's see here. Yep.
And you were a 40 or something, right?
And my prolactin level was, I'm sorry, let's see, was a 45.
Yeah, so you're like more than double.
A little double, yeah.
Right, and that range puts me into the pregnant, which runs from 10 to 209.
Female.
Wow. Oh, my God. Okay.
So the urologist, you know, took a look at that.
And his referral was now to an endocrinologist.
Oh, wow.
Interesting.
Okay.
Yep.
Because that type of condition he has seen related to a lesion on the pituitary gland.
Interesting.
So the next step was to go visit with the endocrinologist.
And then it was a, you know, a head scan, break.
scan area to take a look at the pituitary gland.
And sure enough, there it was.
There was allegiance in the pituitary.
Yep.
Yep, yep, yep.
And it's a condition that is called prolactanoma.
Oh, I've heard, you know, I don't know why I've come across that thing, maybe because
I had a symptom that could have been something like that, but I've heard of this before.
Because I'm telling you, I Google medical stuff all the time.
Prolactinoma, that was the.
type of lesion you had, or is that just the name of the condition?
That's the, I guess that's the name of the, let's see, proactanoma is a non-cancerous tumor
of the pituitary.
Yeah, that's the name of the tumor, right.
Wow, okay.
So a not, and now how, like, did he say you had it all your life?
Is it something that you get when you're older?
Like, you know, do you know anything about that, like the history of it?
I don't know the history of it.
It's just something that develops.
And how it develops, I couldn't tell you.
It could be based on excessive exposure to sun.
It could be a variety of different things.
The location of it is right behind the eyes, the pituitary gland.
So, you know, could not tell you.
I could not tell you because I didn't ask deeply enough and I didn't look too deeply into it as far as how it could have possibly happen.
I don't understand people like you.
I don't understand people like you.
I'm like so curious.
Especially, I mean, like you fucking have this.
You're told you have this and you don't even go Googling when you get.
home. I'm like a crazy person. Did you Google when you went home? Oh no. Now you know a lot about it.
Well, yeah, trust me. I'm kind of the person of I don't care how I got it. It's tell me what it is and tell me how we're
going to deal with it. Yeah, yeah. You don't want to know everything. It's already here. Oh, no, no. I mean, I just like to know everything. I'm like I like to
know ever. I just like to highly educate myself on everything because I find it just interesting. Like I said,
this is why I started this part of my show because I find it interesting. Now let me ask you this. Like, you know,
found out you had this because you had, your prolective levels were high. But are there any
physical symptoms that maybe you weren't aware of that you were having or that some people
would have with this kind of thing? Or is this the type of lesion you have and there's zero symptom
except for like it would show up in your levels? You know what? It honestly, the physical symptoms
may have contributed significantly to weight gain. Oh, is that one of the symptoms of this kind of
lesion?
Yes.
Okay.
Yep.
And, you know, it just, whatever goes on during pregnancy, I suppose.
Oh, interesting.
From breast tissue and so on and so forth.
Did you have male boobs?
I guess I did.
Yeah.
Nobody knows who you were.
I guess I did.
That would be a yes.
Not I guess.
It's yes or no, Mark.
I guess a little bit.
Yeah.
Man boobs.
Wow.
Isn't that so interesting that and that you like, I mean, listen, because you just thought, oh,
that's the way my body is or whatever.
Like, but maybe somebody out there that's listening that has man boobs.
Like, maybe you want to get your prolactin level chacked, right?
Because maybe it's not just the way you're built.
Maybe it's, this is what's going on for you.
I mean, it's funny, but it's actually, you know, important to know.
Hey.
Listen, you know, guys, I've had pills since the dawn of time that gets.
them hard, right? Well, now, women have something too. And it's called shamelessly aroused. And it's not just
some pill that's maybe going to work. No, this is topical Viagra for women. And it works. All you got to do is
rub it all over your vaj. Wait 15 minutes and it sends the blood rushing exactly where you need
and want it. And you know what that means. That means more natural loop, stronger orgasms,
and more sex because you're going to want to actually do it again and again.
So whether you're premenopausal, manipausal, or just tired of always having to work so hard
to have an orgasm, you're going to love shamelessly arouse.
Now listen, I had Robert from Shameless Care.
Come on my show and talk all about this cream.
And the minute we hung up, I bought it.
And I can't tell you how many times I've used it.
Okay.
I love it.
And it does exactly what it's.
it's supposed to do and then some. And I have to say, like, honestly, every time I've used it,
it almost feels like it works better and better. So what are you waiting for? Go get yourself or your
girl some shamelessly aroused. All you got to do is go to shameless care.com.
fill out a five-minute intake and a board certified physician will prescribe and ship it to you
discreetly that very same day. And if you use my code strictly at shameless care.com, you're going to get
$10 off your purchase. That's $10 off when you use my code strictly at shameless care.com or just go to the
description, click on the link and use code strictly to get $10 off plus have better fucking orgasms.
Listen, that has man boobs. Like maybe you want to get your prolactin level chacked, right? Because maybe it's not
just the way you're built. Maybe it's, this is what's going on for you. I mean, it's funny, but it's actually,
you know, important to know.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
And, you know, and part of the whole reason for the call is that this condition can exist
and present itself through the testosterone stuff in ways that, you know, just get it checked, right?
How does it relate to the testosterone?
Is there a correlation between, like, low testosterone in this or high testosterone to build a lesion?
So it creates low testosterone level, is what you're saying?
clobbers the hell out of the testosterone.
Oh yeah, duh, because look,
how much testosterone does a pregnant woman have?
Zero probably.
She's the most female at that time, right?
Think about it.
Yeah.
So when I,
so when this condition was found,
and I wasn't getting the testosterone gel,
remember I had talked about having 900 with the gel, right?
Yeah.
My testosterone levels were 91.
Without it.
Without it and with the prolactin
running through the system.
it just wasn't doing a thing.
Right.
So you're almost bottoming out.
Right.
With the pro.
And now, did they know how long did they say, like you could have had this for 10 years,
five years, one year?
Like, I mean, do you know?
It couldn't.
I know it couldn't have been an extremely long time because the lesion does grow.
Right.
And it wasn't to the point to where the good news was it didn't get to the point to
where it wasn't manageable through medications.
Now, some of these lesions.
can be much more significant to where they can look at the size of it and say, no, medication is not
going to help this. It's a surgical procedure. And the surgical procedure, if you Google this and you look
at the Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and all the wonderful things that Google will show you,
it's a really nasty surgery right up through the sinus cavity into the, you know, yeah, I can't even
look at the pictures. I can't imagine what people go through when they have this. But, you know, you've got to get it done.
If the lesion can't be managed through medication, the surgical procedure has to happen because
that area with that lesion, it will impact your vision.
You'll essentially go blind.
You're kidding.
And I'm sure that happens because how would, there's probably a lot of people walking around
with this legion inside them, just like you were having, and they have zero clue until
it's so big and it's creating these like, you know, much more prominent, prominent symptoms, right?
Like you had man boobs.
You were like a little overweight, right?
Low testosterone.
You're just thinking, I'm older.
This is what happens.
This is normal.
You know, listen, this happens with a lot of diseases when people get older.
You think it's like, are you blaming on menopause or whatever?
And it could be something serious, right?
So it's like, thank God you had a really great doctor who really looked into things.
And this is why I'm doing this kind of an episode for my listeners because I think this kind of thing.
It helps someone to say, oh, maybe I should go have that checked because, you know, a lot of doctors don't cross their teas.
and dot their eyes like, because look, your first doctor did, and he just gave you some testosterone.
That's it.
He wouldn't, he would have never know.
Exactly.
Exactly.
And this is one of the reasons why I really wanted to talk about this subject, or at least
find a way to get it out.
For years, I've wanted to find a venue, and your show is just, I love it.
Oh, good.
I love that you love it.
I look so vicariously through your show with the people on it, it's so great.
But the biggest message I wanted to get out with this really is, you know, it's,
It's easy for us guys to go to a doctor and whine about, you know, I don't feel good.
You know, that aren't on testosterone to get the juice in all the different variety of ways and have a doctor just write the script, right?
And get on the juice.
After they, even if they do due diligence and just get the T level, right?
Yeah, because your T level went up if they wouldn't look further.
Your T level was saying, oh, things are good.
you're responding to the gel, right?
Like you could have been like, oh, everything's great.
But I will bet you dollars to donuts that there are a lot of people out there that
have been working with physicians that don't take that extra step, like this great physician
that I had over in the San Jose area when I went to go work over there, that took that extra
step, caught that, and referred me to basically something that if he would have just written the script,
no doubt that lesion would have advanced.
I could have been in serious trouble, so on and so forth.
So I worry about, you know, my brothers out there that are getting the testosterone
and whether or not their doctors have looked at prolactin levels,
which should be one of the things checked related to testosterone.
Because, again, as I've been informed, the prolactin clobbers the testosterone levels down.
And you can jack them back up through the testosterone.
the gels, but the underlying condition is sitting there waiting to really take its toll on you.
Yeah, it's almost worse because now you're hiding it through the gel, right?
Like it's just covering up that low level that is signaling you that something's wrong here, right?
But when you're older and you have low testosterone, it's kind of like, oh, two plus equals four.
It's because you're older, right?
There's no other reason for it.
But thank God for doctors like your doctor, like you said.
And the problem with doctors, like, I got an email today from a guy saying like, oh, you know, my wife is really looking.
She's got no libido or sex driver's out the window.
She's only 49 years old.
And she went to her OBGYN today and she said there's nothing you could do about it.
And it's like, oh my God, like this is the sad thing is that, you know, a lot of times people just like listen to their doctors, quote of quote, because they think they know everything.
But the truth is a lot of doctors don't stay up with like what has changed since they went to medical school.
I'm sorry.
Like, you know, no, I'm really serious.
When was the last time your doctor was in school?
40 years ago, you know, a lot of them don't know anything about hormones.
So I just think whether it's a doctor, and I say this all the time, or a hairdresser or a therapist or a mechanic.
A lot of people don't do their jobs well, okay?
But there's 10% that do their jobs really well and are really great at it, you know, and that's where you need to fish out of.
And especially with your doctors, you need the best.
doctors, doctors that are like your doctor, the doctor that's going to go the extra mile,
look into other things, and wants to know more than just the basic stuff that's just going
to prescribe you a medication and send you packing, or like this OBGYN that's going to say
there's nothing you could do, it's normal for your age, you know? It's like you can't be,
you can be satisfied with that. I don't know why people are. Yep, yep. That's between the
doctors that I picked up in San Jose and then brought all that back here to me,
where I'm living in my home state and the doctor that I got my wife under care for her testosterone
pellets, which it was as simple as looking at a sign on the wall in the doctor's office that talked
about.
I went, you know what, I'm going to mention that to my wife.
And she came in and decided to do it.
And bam, whole new person.
Yeah, within one month, okay, that happens right away, right?
Yes. Yes, it did.
Yes, it did.
How long has she been on the pellets for?
A little over a year.
And, you know, it's a, I got to say it's hard on her, you know, the first few days after getting the pellets put back in.
You know, it's painful.
But it, and she's been a, somebody who's gone out to all of the people she works with and knows that is within the right age range and complaining about, oh, I don't enjoy sex with.
my husband anymore, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you know, she's a disciple of this stuff.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, of course.
And it turns out it works for a lot of them.
Yeah, for sure.
Absolutely.
Can I ask you a quick question?
Because we never talked about, like, what happened after your diagnosis.
So yours wasn't big enough to have to have it surgically removed.
They're like, oh, we could give you medication to regulate this.
Now, does the medication remove it totally?
Does it just keep it at bay?
And what is the medication that you could take?
It just shrinks it.
right? And is it something that you take daily for the rest of your life? Is there a time period
that you take it? Like, how does the medication work? You know, as far as the time period goes,
I will probably be taking it until they just don't see it anymore. The medication actually
shrinks it. Okay. And is it a pill? Yep, it's a tiny little white pill that I have taken
twice a week. Oh, okay. I mean, it's, it's, it's, it's, there's no effects.
You know, it's just something to add to the pill caddy.
Yeah, I got it.
Amongst all the other 14 things, right.
And, you know, it, so it was very encouraging to get on that and then go back for another scan after a year and find that it had shrunk and that the levels settled way down.
So where I'm at now with, you know, the testosterone gel that I'm using.
and that the prolactin is down at 2.9.
Oh, wow.
Big difference.
Yeah, way down range, you know, almost to the bottom of the range.
And the testosterone levels at the 700 level.
Right, but probably with less testosterone, no, because you need less, because you're not,
it's not being, like, killed by the prolactin levels?
Does that make a difference?
Like, do you need less because your level isn't being pushed down even more so by that lesion?
I've got to assume so.
Yeah. I've got to assume so.
Because the amount that I'm taking with the gills seems to keep it at that level.
Although I've tried to talk to my doctor about going on pellets because, again, I listen to folks on your show that talk about how it's more of an even release as opposed to the gel.
No, I don't find that.
I'll tell you what's...
I'm good with the gel.
Yeah, no, no, no.
If anything, the pellets are much more of an up and down roller coaster.
I find the best. I mean, I do injections. I've done creams and I've done pellets and I do injections. And I was more horny on pellets. So I would say do not change your wife. Okay, if you like where she's at right now, keep her on those pellets. They're great. I just couldn't take that thing in my ass. Like, you know, it was, it really hurt for me and I couldn't work out for like five days. You know, it was like it's a lot to do every four months. And because I metabolized things really fast. It was like two months that I felt like they were out of my system. So I do injections. But even for guys, I
her for guys with the pellets that it is a little bit of like you know when you're feeling like
you're coming off it and you need more. Whereas like if you're putting the cream on every day or
doing something consistently, I think that keeps you more level. And so you never have to feel like,
oh, I need like sometimes when you're on the pellets, you know when you need them. You know what I mean?
You're kind of like bottoming out. So I think when you're doing something weekly, like whether it's
the gels or the injections, it keeps you more balance. It's less of a ride for sure. Do you feel like
you have an up and down with the testosterone levels or no?
No, not with the gel at all.
Yeah, yeah, no.
But my wife does.
Yes, for sure.
Of course she does.
My wife can certainly tell when she's running out of gas in the gas tank.
Yes, and that's what I didn't.
Yeah, that's what I didn't like.
Okay, that's what I didn't like.
And because mine came so much quicker, right?
Like some people, they could go four months with the pellets, right?
Some women.
But for me, it was like a two months I felt like, you know, I was actually past my peak
and now down at the bottom and I need them again.
And it just wasn't going to be,
it couldn't work in my schedule and stuff to be doing this every two months. So I went on
injections. But when the pellets work for somebody for a good four months, you know, and you get
it through and you kind of know when it's bottoming out and you go back and get it, you get built
up real quick. I just didn't like that up and down. I think you stay more level with what you're
doing or injection. So if I were you, I'd stay. Question, though, for, so like because you had
these, you know, these man boobs and you said maybe it added to a little weaking because, you know,
you're like a pregnant woman.
Did you find a difference when that lesion got like shrunk and your levels went down that did
you see a difference in your weight or anything in your body?
Any other effects like or side effects that you felt like or things that went away that
might have been symptoms that you didn't even realize you had?
So I'd like to say I saw a difference my weight, but all of this, all of this miracle stuff
happened right during COVID.
So my planet fitness gyms were all closed.
and I was working over in California.
So I was working in the San Jose area of Santa Clara County.
And they had mandated lockdowns, home lockdowns, don't go out, don't go here, don't go there.
You know, it was very, very, it was horrid over there.
Yeah, I was in New York City.
It was the same.
It was very bad.
Yeah.
But the nice thing was that they locked it down so tight.
They told me to go home and work.
So I went back to my home state and work, which was a lot more open.
Oh, that's good.
But still no gyms open.
Yeah, of course, of course.
So you couldn't, yeah, you can't tell the difference.
But what about your man boobs?
Did they go down?
No, no, those were gifts.
And the only way I've really gotten a lot of that down is it kind of works in a different direction is I had to have a knee replacement.
Yeah.
And I went through, I put myself in.
the gym for about a year to prepare to get good core. And, you know, that took care of a lot of that
for me. So I was able to finally get some of that out. And honestly, I don't think without the testosterone,
I wouldn't, would have had the physical, physical motivation to drive me there every day,
get on the bike, you know, do everything that I needed to. Yeah, it makes a big difference. Yeah.
I do. I think it did. Yeah. And it helps,
stamina through your workouts, you know, it also helps. Like, listen, I was always a workout person. I've
been working out with weights since I'm in my 20s. And back in those days, no girls worked out with
weights. Now every girl works out the way I do. And they're smart to do it because it keeps you
healthy. And you should always be working out with weights like men, all girls from the get-go.
You know, every girl in my day was like spending an hour on the treadmill. And no one looked as good
as I was. I was like, why haven't they got the memo? Like, workout with weights.
They're the best things for you. But like, what happened over time for me when I was on regular
hormones and no testosterone. I was just on estradial and progesterone. My doctor wasn't giving me testosterone.
I was working out as hard as I ever, you know, I ever did. And I couldn't build the tiniest bit of
muscle. And then when I went to change doctors and got on the testosterone, all of a sudden,
I'm working out the same way I was before, actually less. I have to do less because muscle,
there's muscle memory, right? So if you get muscle at some point in your life, you could get it back
quickly. I got all my muscle back and then some. And I don't have to work.
workout as hard, but I get my muscle there because I got that testosterone. You just can't build it if
you don't have it anymore and you have very low levels when you get. And it's very frustrating,
especially if you're going to the gym, because muscle is good to have in your body. You know what I
mean? It really is important. And listen, with man boobs and stuff, like, listen, you didn't know
you had that lesion. You grew some fat. What I never realized and I, and I learned from a doctor once is
like with fat cells, you know, and I feel bad because I had all these friends that were like overweight
and I would tell them, do this and do that and do that.
But like what I didn't realize is like once you build a fat cell, like it doesn't go away.
Like you could diet all you want.
All that happens to that fat cell is it's like a balloon, right?
And it just like loses its air.
But that balloon is still there waiting for one front try to blow it up.
You know what I'm saying?
So, you know, unfortunately you like built brass.
You know, you got some like fat in there probably, right?
So how could they go away really unless, I don't know.
you probably like, right, don't you think?
It's like, I don't know that like, oh, just because that lesion went away that that would all go away because that built up over time and it's just there.
I don't know if it's breast tissue or fat.
It's not probably not breast tissue.
Do you even know what's it in your man boobs?
No, no.
Don't really care.
Yeah, see, I'm like interested.
I'm like, now I want to Google.
What is it?
Do man boobs?
Like guys with man boobs, they have breast tissue.
This is where I'm so, I don't know anything.
But this is why I like to talk to doctors because I would like that answer.
Like, I'm curious.
Like, you know, because you had this.
prolactin running through you and you can get these kinds of things because it, right? It makes
sense that you would grow them a little bit. And I'm wondering, did you grow breast tissue and is
breast tissue? I'm assuming breast tissue is different than fat cells, you know, but I'm sure there's
fat cells in with breast because when women get bigger, they get bigger breasts, you know, and smaller.
So who knows. But this is why I do these episodes because I'm like obsessed with all this kind of
information. But so you take the medication. Now you, it was a year. They said, okay, take this for a
whole year two times a week and then come back. We'll see if it shrunk. And did they say,
okay, keep taking it and wait another year? Yep. Come back every year for a scan. And we'll just keep
checking the size. And each year that I went back, it was getting smaller and smaller. So,
you know, it's effective. But it's something there is no limit or no, you know, by 2030.
it should all be gone or anything like that.
It's just something that has to be monitored and watched.
And managed and managed.
And that little medication that you take.
Yeah, of course.
That medication that you take manages it well.
And you don't have any side effects from it, which I think is really great, right?
Like no side effects from it?
No.
And does insurance cover it?
Yep.
Right.
So you're not paying a lot of money for it.
It's not expensive.
Yeah.
No, no, it's not expensive at all.
It's very, very inexpensive.
And testosterone's not.
And I got to tell people, pellets are little.
little bit more expensive.
Like to me,
Pels were way more expensive than injections in that you're paying like in New York City.
I was going to be paying like $500 every four months or every two months for me.
But my injections, my bottles are like $60, $80 each.
I'm doing two different bottles.
And they last me like for four or five months.
Like how much is your testosterone gel?
It's not expensive, right?
No, not at all.
It's covered by the, my testosterone gel is covered by insurance.
Oh, it is?
How come?
Because it's lesion you got it covered or just like,
how could you get it covered?
like what's the reasoning behind it for men?
What did, like, what did your doctor say you had that you were able to get a cover?
Like, why isn't my testosterone covered by my insurance?
Well, and, you know, and the gel's covered.
My gel has always been covered by my insurance.
I've never had a problem.
Yeah, that's interesting.
Wherever I've worked, it's always been covered.
But the testosterone pellets are not covered.
Yeah.
Isn't that interesting?
For my wife.
Yeah.
Is that a man-woman thing?
We have to wonder, you know, because there is this problem.
you know, with, now they finally came out with the Viagra cream for women, but, you know, they had bills to get guys hard for...
I heard about that on your show.
Yeah, forever.
I'm curious.
Yeah, I bought it.
I love it.
I think it's great, but it's like about time that they do these things.
And, you know, women get a little shafted when it comes to these things because they, it isn't really covered as well as like guy stuff, you know, and I wonder if that's a male female thing, you know?
No, I think you do it.
Again, I listen to your shows when I can, and selectively, because not all shows are for everybody.
Oh, of course.
But your representation of the inequities in medical treatment are dead on.
And very, you know, as much attention that can be paid to it, the better.
Absolutely, women need a lot more care.
you know, equal application, equal research, and equal medications.
Yeah.
And I mean, it only makes sense that the men who are in charge that are making these,
they should be thinking that way because these are the women they're going home to,
you know, so it really doesn't make any sense.
They're only like shooting themselves in the foot.
You know what I mean?
Like, oh, let's make Viagra so we're fucking hard.
But let's not think of our wives.
So now we have to cheat on them.
Like, why weren't you thinking of your wives too?
So they would fuck you with your heart on it.
Like it doesn't make any sense, you know?
Like everyone's going to be happier.
Guys are going to be happier if the women have it too, right?
I mean, it just makes sense.
It should go all around.
But it sounds like you guys are doing great.
And I think it's so interesting.
I feel like there's going to be so many people listening to this, right?
That might be like, oh, my God, why not throw a prolactin level test in there when you go to your doctor?
And, you know, just because your doctor doesn't bring it up, bring it up to your doctor and just tell them to throw it in.
Absolutely.
And again, the whole reason for contacting you and finding a way to put this out, I've never heard it.
And by the way, one of the things that I wanted to mention, you remember the television show House?
Yeah, I know.
I didn't watch it, but I know of it.
Yeah, absolutely.
With Greg and Lori?
Yeah.
There was an episode specifically dealing with that subject, and I brought it up in my other computer.
But it dealt with a husband and wife that were very satisfied in their life, that, you know, they were asexual, had no interest in sex, so on us.
I think they took the...
This type of condition and did a great job on it.
And, you know, it was one of these things where House could not figure out why he had no interest
and why the wife was satisfied that he had no interest in sex because it was so unnatural.
Yeah.
And, you know, toward the end, like all of the shows, that's exactly the condition that they identify,
but his was much more advanced and had to have a surgical procedure.
So, you know, and I saw that I went more, you know, this is.
is really more common than people know.
And again, through this venue, hopefully, you know, it's my one and only chance to mention this
out to a community that invests itself in testosterone and in a lot of ED medication,
so on and so forth.
Go back and have this test done.
Have it checked.
Make sure you don't have something hiding there that your doctors have completely ignored
or are ignorant about.
Yeah.
That's really the message I wanted to bring.
Yeah.
And what I love about that is probably one of the writers for House,
like had this actually happened to them or someone they know.
And that's why they wrote it into the show to educate others, right?
Like, I think that that's like really great.
It had to come from somewhere, you know, that they put that as a storyline.
I love it.
And I think it's important.
That's why I'm doing, like I said, this is why I started the sexual health Saturdays
is because not everybody is as crazy as I am with the Googling and everything.
Like I, like I said, when I get my blood work,
I look at a million different things and something slightly off.
I'll go and look at maybe I should look into this or that.
I'm the type person that would have asked my doctor for a prolactic level
because I would have Googled it and found out that maybe I should be looking into that.
But most people aren't that way, right?
Most people don't want to look into things.
They don't know.
They're not Googling medical stuff.
It's not something that they're interested in.
So, you know, this is like really helpful information.
You just want to make sure because it's not uncommon, right, that you could have this
and you would have no idea.
and it's a simple blood test that you could get from your primary care physician, just throw it in.
I always throw in like my B, my vitamin D level, you know, I'm getting my next blood test.
I'm going to throw in my iron levels just to see that.
Like, I'm always checking extra little things.
Nowadays, you could just throw things on and check it A1C.
Like, these are all important things to look into.
And now, because of what you said here, you know, every guy that's on testosterone that's a little bit older, like, why not throw that in to make sure you're doing okay?
because you might have it and you would have no idea like you.
Yep.
And going way back to the beginning of getting involved with testosterone and all that,
my whole thing didn't all deal with the bedroom issues.
Yeah.
It dealt more along the lines of how I felt about myself and so on and so forth,
because I got to be honest, I am married to this beautiful hot Latina.
Oh, there you go.
Her, everything about her 24 hours a day, I mean,
sexy, hot.
Oh, ever since the day we were married.
Yeah.
And we've been married 37 years.
Yeah.
And every day I wake up, it's, I have this gorgeous, beautiful woman next to me all the time.
And however she's feeling about it, you know, I don't care.
It's, it always stirs it inside me.
So, and now it's just even better.
Oh, my God, yeah.
And she's back to her horny.
or probably even worse with her repellets.
And there is no,
there is no worse.
Yeah, I mean, it's all good.
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
We know those Latin women, okay, sorry.
They're like made for sex, right?
I mean, there is something sexy about them.
Their body temperature is at least a degree or two higher than ours.
They have to know that about it.
Oh my God, that's so funny.
I love that.
I love your story.
I love that you came on to tell it.
I am like you.
I think if, you know,
two people that hear this,
or one person or, you know, 10 people here this, go get their levels checked.
If somebody could be find this out that they wouldn't have because of this episode,
like, how great is that?
You know, like you really helped people, you know, and that's why I do my show to,
that's why I started my podcast to really help people.
And in a weird way I do with a lot of my episodes and, you know, this series,
the sexual health Saturday series is like, I want to bring all this kind of stuff up
because I think these are very helpful for sure because I think that there'll be a lot of guys
running out and getting their levels checked.
It's good to know that you don't have it, or if you have it, it's good to know that you do.
Because it's benign.
It's not like you're going to find out you're like dying of cancer or anything, but you want to know
that you have it because you could go on the medication and then your levels will be leveled out
and you could, you know, be working more properly.
Right, right.
No, and I have not heard this information put out there before.
And there, you know, as you've probably seen or will see, see, there's lots of information
on the internet about it when you start looking for it,
but nobody ever talks about it and what kind of impact it has.
And that's what this show is about.
Talking about the things that other people maybe aren't talking about
or don't want to talk about or keep it hidden, you know,
but I know I'm going to get emails from people being like,
oh, this happened to me or, oh, thanks, I'm going to get checked.
You know what I mean?
It's like the right people will find this episode.
And so I'm thankful for you for calling in and telling your story.
I think it's super interesting.
and I'm sure it will be really helpful for other people.
Well, thank you.
And I'll keep living vicariously,
enjoy the stories that other people share, you know,
once, twice, three times a week.
Oh, I got.
Yeah, I already.
I always have like,
make sure that I don't have the podcast on
when my grandkids are in the car.
Exactly.
I always have like 40 in the bag.
Trust me, there's good ones coming up.
So stay tuned.
Thanks for tuning in and listening
and being a loyal listener.
And thanks, though, also for calling you and sharing your story.
I love it. Thanks so much, Mark.
You're welcome.
Bye.
Bye.
Okay, I just want to tell you before you go that my book, it's called Strictly Anonymous Confession,
Secret Sex Lives of Total Strangers, is now available not only in paperback and ebook,
but you can pre-order the audiobook.
It's still not going to be out until August 25th, but you can pre-order it.
The book is basically 17 different stories taken from my show.
show. I kind of picked one story from each category that I talk about on my show. Like, there's a
hot wife story. There's a cuck queen story. There's a cuck story. There's a gang being girl story.
Like I said, 17 stories, and they're all told in the third person, and they're all true. I took the
interview and rewrote it in the third person, and I wouldn't really call it like a total erotica book.
Think like Penthouse letters. It's more direct. It's not so over the top, like erotica.
I don't really like that kind of vibe, right? But these are true stories. 17 of them.
They're really short chapters, easy read. You could read, you know, one or two and then skip
around. You could read the whole book. It's available in eback format, paperback format,
and finally, the audiobook is available coming out August 25th. But you could pre-order it now.
And if you buy my book in any format or pre-order it, I will throw in a complimentary link to my
discord. My discord does not disappoint. Okay. There's no way you get into my discord any other way than
getting the link from me. Okay. I give it to people who buy my book. There's tons of people in there.
Everybody shares content with each other. And that's what you get to do there. You could post your
own pictures and videos. There's tons of channels. We have lots of contests where you can win a lot of
money. It's a super fun place to be. It's a total strictly anonymous community and you will love it.
I will be giving anyone who buys my book.
access to my Discord. It's private, like I said. All you got to do is email me a screenshot of your
purchase, whether you did the audiobook, the ebook, or the paperback. Send it to me at Strictly Anonymous
Podcast at gmail.com. That's strictly anonymous podcast at gmail.com. And I will send you the link
to Discord. So anyway, thanks so much for tuning in.
Okay, good news. I do have a book out. I wrote a book and it's coming out. The book is called trickle-in-on-mis confessions. Secret sex lives of total strangers. What I did was I picked out the 17 best episodes. That was very hard to do. Okay, I picked like one from each category. And I retold the story from the third person. So it's not interview style. It's a little bit more erotica. The only place where I took creative liberty was in the sex scene. So it's even hotter. Then,
my episodes, like I said, it's told in the third person, and they're all true, just like my show. I mean,
these are real stories from my show, just written out, like I said, in the third person, not an interview
style, more like a story, but a true story, a true super hot story. Now, listen, it is available for
pre-order now, and it's not coming out until October 14th, and I was like, oh my God, that's a long time
away. So I figured I'd incentivize people. If you want to pre-order it now, I will. And I will,
give you free access to my Discord if you pre-order it now.
All you got to do is screenshot, a pick of the receipt.
Just screenshot it to me.
Send it to Strictly Anonymous Podcast at gmail.com.
And then I will send you the link to my Discord.
So that's a little incentive to pick it up now.
It's on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Simon & Schuster.
The link is in the description.
So make sure to click on it.
And if you get it, send me the pick of you purchasing.
And I'll give you free access to my private discord.
that is a totally naughty, super hot community with a lot of people over 2500 people over there
having fun. Remember email me the pick at Strictly Anonymous Podcast at gmail.com.
