So you wrote in and told me you had like an escort gone wrong story, which I always love a gone wrong story. When we get into it. But, yeah. Okay. All right. Well, since you didn't give me any information, which I prefer, actually. Why don't you start off and tell me the story? What happened? Well, um,

let's see here um i guess i've been seeing escorts for about two years now or so okay how old are you von um mid 30s mid early 30s now are you in a relationship are you married is this a secret thing or are you a single guy and this is just how you get your action no it's a it's a secret thing i'm married okay and how long you've been married for oh gosh uh three years oh gosh three years i think Yeah. I'd be like 16 years. No, no, no, no, no, three years. Okay, and how long? I got started late.

Okay, but how long were you with that, the woman that you're married to? How long were you dating her before you got married? Since 2009, so... So you've been with her a long time. Yeah, we've been together for a while. Right, so it's over like 10 years. You've been with the same person. Were you always cheating on her with...

I know that you just said you just started using escorts, but were you always cheating on her? No, that's actually, I mean, kind of an interesting story in and of itself. She was actually when we were dating, and we dated for five or six years or so, and she was actually a virgin through that time. And I didn't cheat on her at all. It's maybe 10.30 or something like that. For whatever reason, I wake up at like 12, 40. and I look at my phone and she had text me at like 12.15, so 30 minutes prior to me waking up. And this text message says, I really enjoyed giving you herpes tonight and I hope your wife gets it too. And I was like, what the fuck just happened? Like, you know, it's just like, and it just blindsided me. It was crazy. Yeah.

That's some scary shit. That's like, you know, I forget what the lady is in that movie where she like boils the rabbit. But that's something like, all of a sudden you think you might be just dealing with a fucking psychopath. Yeah. So like as soon as I wake up, I immediately text back like, what the fuck? Yeah. And nothing, of course. I mean, why would she text back?

You know, and so. And obviously, you know, I can't sleep that night. The next day, you know, I text her. say, hey, this, I really hope this is some sort of sick fucking joke. Like, what the heck is, you know, what the heck is going on and nothing. And so that's where we're at. It was like a week and a half ago. And so.

And she just sent you that and said that. Like I was like, I was, listen, what I was really nervous for you is that, you know, in the beginning when you were telling me she was doing all this stuff, like where I thought this story was going to go was a lot worse than quote unquote what she, like, you know, whether she gave you her reason or not, we'll discuss that. right like to do to somebody like I mean right if you really want to like if you really hate but you know I mean I personally would never tell my friend to do that like and I think it's really wrong of her because like what but it's very effective right if you're like really angry at men and like I don't know like I said I mean right absolutely you know what I'm saying right you know absolutely I've gone through all these scenarios over my head the one thing that doesn't that doesn't make sense to me is this is her business. And you would know, and just so you know, look, the average incubation period for initial herpes infection is four days. that's the average but the range is from two to 12 and it says and then it breaks and it leaves and it may take two to four weeks for it to heal but I've never heard two months no you will you're very close you're 10 days out right

And you will get caught if you go back and you will suffer worse than this scare. I promise you. So do me a favor if you really don't want to because you said, I hope so. You need to go into therapy so that 1% of you doesn't become 2%, 5%, 10%, 50%, 70%,

70% six months from now when the fear of all this goes away and everything. and you're back to your life with that vapid hole inside of you that can't be scratch, you're going to go back to what you did because that's the easier thing to do than to really work on yourself and really go into the hard place, which is find out what the fuck is going on. Do you understand? Do the harder thing. Absolutely.

And that's where the whole, I hope so comes from because, you know, I foresee exactly what you just said. Yeah. You know, as of right now, like I'm like 100,000. 10,000 percent sure that this will never happen again. You know, and then, but like, I mean, you know, as I think through things, you know, and I'm thinking, well, you know, I've said that about, you know, a dozen things, you know, that happened again. Right. So if you don't do something different, like this will happen. So you have to like do something different. Or else you'll go back to your same ways. I agree with you 100%.

So you have to. to get into therapy and start talking about this exact thing. This needs to be something that you're talking about with a professional and they really need to help you because the right person will take this story in this conversation and then go real deep with you. You know what I mean? You need to go into those other places and you need to talk about like you and your life and where and your happiness and your depra- like whatever's going on with you. And you should do that because you're going to be a dad soon, you know. And that's like only going to, it's not just going to help you. It's going to help your relationship with your wife and it's going to help you

be a better dad because you'll be a better person. Right now you have something that you need to deal with and you should be dealing with it, you know, so that you could then, you know, also be there and be more present with your family. Not that you're not going to be present, you're going to be a great dad, but you'll be better when you're better. You know what I mean? No, I know exactly what you mean. Exactly. Do you know if you're having a girl or a boy? A girl. Oh, congratulations. This really is life changing for better for worse it's really the greatest thing you're gonna have like for real your daughter um and like because you know this is like it's you know the first couple of years of like having I mean my son's just turned two and the first couple years are just so amazing and if I think about like

if I was married I'm a single mom but like if I was with a guy and in those first couple of years I found out like that he was cheating on me with escorts like it would really just shatter you know your wife's world, you know, and so I really think that you need at this moment to really start working on yourself so you could figure things out so this doesn't happen because if not and if you get caught, it's going to ruin that family and your child's going to suffer. You know, so do it for your daughter if you can't do it for you. You know, like you got to think of those things now because it's not just about you anymore. I trust me, these are things that I've been thinking about for the last 10 days.

right good it's good because this is the reality this is the truth of the situation you should be thinking about things as opposed to thinking about that girl's hot body i don't want to remind you about it no absolutely absolutely like i mean in one sense i mean i don't give a shit about myself i really i mean clearly you know what i mean make stupid decisions um you know under the gun or whatever yeah but then i mean it snaps back to you know especially you know that comment hey i hope your wife it's a two. It's like, like, what the fuck have I done? Like, you know, like this, I'm exposing my wife to this. I'm exposing my kid to this. Like, like, this, you know. And I think that this happens a lot with men and women who are cheating. Like, sometimes you just get into this place or when people are doing bad things, like, you know, some part of you, that damage part of you takes over and sort of makes you do these things. And then like when you fucking, if something bad happens or the something, you know, when you're faced with it, you feel so. horrified about what you did.

And like I said, in a weird way, it's a good thing that that happened because you could have never sort of faced. The light, like, turned on for you. You know what I mean? Because you were just, we would just kept doing this, you know? So this was really a good thing that happened because it shed the light on the situation. It made you really realize that when you're doing this, you're not just doing this to yourself. This is your, you have a wife.

And now you're going to have a daughter. Like when you're in that emergency room, like that room and your baby is born. like this is like this is a whole different story so you have to really think about the consequences of your actions and I don't think that um you know you should be doing it it's not right for you and you hear me on my podcast episodes I don't know how much you've listened to my show but like people that really listen I've listened I'm like all of them yeah and I'm not judgmental I don't tell people what to do but in this situation I'm telling you like you know and sometimes I do you know because this is just what I know for you like you won't get away you'll suffer worse consequences you were

lucky that this happened to you. This isn't that bad because I don't think you're going to get herpes, but you're still going to be worried for the next month or whatever. And that's, if that is the least sort of punishment you get for doing something wrong, then, you know, consider yourself lucky. Consider yourself that your bottom and change your ways. Some people are okay with doing things like that and it works for them and they don't get busted and they don't get in trouble and things like that don't, you know, and it's okay with them. but because this happened to you and because it fucking horrified you and because of all these things is the reason why this isn't for you. Do you understand? Yeah. It's not for you. No, absolutely. Yeah. I completely agree. therapy is for you.

Work on yourself is for you. Work on yourself is for you. You're super young. You're having a family. You're going to have a daughter. Like, you know, you owe it to yourself to work on yourself. And then, you know,

it'll only be good for your child. And therapy is really great. I mean, I don't know why people don't go to therapy. Like therapy is like, you talk about yourself. It's like all about you for an hour every week. Like once you,

if you find the right person, that takes work, you know, to find the right person and to do that and stuff. But like I said, if you take that, You're not going to be on Googling Craigslist people, you know, use that time to instead of go in that direction, trying to find the right therapist and do that stuff. It'll be really good for you. Okay.

All right. I absolutely agree. Okay. So the story wasn't hilarious. No, it's not. But I do think, but honestly, I'm sorry. I do think it was, I think it's a good story in the scheme of thing. Because if 10 years from now, you haven't cheated on your words.
