Starting point is 00:03:36 them. So thank you for that. And keep doing it. Like I said, even if you can't write a view, just press five stars. So today I have on Beth, Beth has one of those stories that I love. It's like, there's a lot of psychology. There's a lot of layers. There's a lot of trauma. It's, messy. There's a lot of stuff going down. And it's like her real life. And it's super interesting. We start from the beginning where, you know, she was super young. Her mom died when she was really young. She talks a lot about that and how traumatic that was. It happened when she was super young.
Starting point is 00:04:06 And then she definitely acted out. She was always into women when she was younger. We talk a lot about that because that's a big part of this whole episode. She was into women. She wound up sleeping with her brother's ex-wife. Okay, that's a whole story. I harp on that one a lot because I'm like, how do you wind up? with your brother's ex-wife.
Starting point is 00:04:28 And she hated her too. And then they wound up like hook it up many times. And she talks all about that. And then we talk about how she met her husband. Now we kind of saved her. Very young, she met him. He was younger than her. I mean, she's only 35 now.
Starting point is 00:04:41 But she met her husband when she was 21 and they got together. And he cheated on her a couple times. We talk about that exactly what went down, how she got past it, why he cheated, how she found out. And then how and when recently she wound up copping to him that she really is into women and wants a woman in their relationship. And now they are currently looking for a woman to join their relationship. And she couldn't be happier.
Starting point is 00:05:08 This is a woman that went through a lot of trauma. And she talks about how all of this stuff, even the bad stuff, her husband cheating on her and her coming to terms with her, have gotten her to the place where she was able to put everything out on the table. She's ready to change her whole life. So it's a super interesting story. you're going to have to hear all the details. Trust me, I didn't give you all of them in my intro.
Starting point is 00:05:29 I know people sometimes say you give too much. No, I didn't give you half of what she talks about on this episode. You're going to love the episode. She sent me pictures. I have them over on Patreon. So I'm going to be right back on with Beth. Hi, Beth. Welcome to the Strictly Anonymous podcast.
Starting point is 00:05:42 How are you today? Good. How are you, Kathy? I'm good. So listen, Beth, you got an interesting story. Now, I'm going to say the short story. I'm going to sum it up in one sentence, your whole life story. Then you're going to give me a little.
Starting point is 00:05:54 all the details. So basically, you're married and you're still married, even though there's a lot of stuff that has gone down while you've been married. You've always been bisexual and into women, but maybe now you think you're or know you're like a straight on lesbian? Is that the word you would use now? Did that change, or you're just into women and you finally copped to it with your husband? Correct. The second one is I've always been into women. I would say I'm more into women. I just felt madly in love with my husband. Okay, cool. So you have had experience with women. We'll talk about that.
Starting point is 00:06:28 You wound up marrying your husband. There was infidelity. Two separate times you have caught your husband cheating on you. We'll talk about that. And then you finally did cop to him that you are very into women, almost more so into women. Like I've talked to other women before. I had two girls on recently who started seeing women outside of their marriages. And they were so into women.
Starting point is 00:06:49 They're like literally my husband is the only guy I would ever be with. And if he ever left me, I'd never be with. another guy ever again. Do you feel that way? Are you that? That is 100% me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what these other girls have said. They went and found the women. They're like, oh, I actually really like women more, but this one guy does it for me. But if he left tomorrow, I'd never go for a guy again because they prefer women. That's you. So you're much more like on a Kinsey scale, right?
Starting point is 00:07:13 Like where would you be like 95, 5, 80, 20? What do you think guys and girls would be like attraction into? I would be very much on the women's side. Interesting. Okay. So Beth, let's start at. the beginning. Like, when did you find out or figure out that you were into women? So I actually probably was honestly about 10 years old. I started, I started fooling around with friends of mine, kind of, you know, teething, playing kind of house things, you know. One was the girl, one was a guy. So, but it was always a girl and girl thing. So I've always just had that connection with women or girls. I guess I feel.
Starting point is 00:07:54 like there's more, they take care of you better. You think? Yeah. Which turns around of why I was so attracted to my husband because he takes wonderful care of me even through the two affairs. Well, obviously you stayed with him. So you find women to be, like the nurturing aspect of women is something that you really relate to and like dig and that's what you always got from them that you felt was missing
Starting point is 00:08:23 from men? Yes, I honestly, it probably rounds about because I lost my mom at a really young age, to be honestly. So I've always tried to have that connection with a woman. And I think that it just transpired into other feelings and having that connection that I never had felt anything of. Yeah, that's so interesting. How old were you when your mom passed? I was nine years old and it was a year-long, really bad battle of cancer for her. Oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:08:52 Double torture, because it's not. even just losing your mom, but seeing someone go through. I mean, listen, what's worse? And anything's horrible, right? A tragic accident that you would never know about that just happens out of the blue is horrific. But then also the thought of seeing someone you love deteriorate through an illness is absolute fucking torture for that whole year.
Starting point is 00:09:14 And as a nine-year-old, I have an eight-year-old son. So I, like, I think to myself, like, oh, my God, that's so young with such a terrible I mean, listen, any, it's bad at any age, but you're super young, but you're still old enough to really know what's going on. So it's really fucked up. It's going to fuck you up for sure. How is your dad? How was your dad after that? My dad and my mom were soulmates.
Starting point is 00:09:39 They were like the couple that everyone watches on movies and wants to be. So my dad, I always have said he that he died the day my mom died and was not. around a lot. He was trying to fill that void. And me and my brother were left to raise ourselves, essentially. How old was your brother, older or younger than you? He was older than me. How old was he? He was, what, 13. Oh, wow. That's tough on a boy, too, especially, because he can't kind of cry like a baby because he's a guy. I don't know. He had to take care of me. Yeah, on top of it. Oh, my God. How did it show up in his life? Did he get really fucked up from it? Yeah, he got really dark. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I know all my guy friends. Like, I, I knew, a couple guys that did heroin in their life.
Starting point is 00:10:25 And it always, you could trace it back to something like really tragic happening to them when they were really young. And I think so. Absolutely. One was like his best friend died in a car accident right next to him. Another one was his sister died when he was like 13. Shit like that. When guys, I mean, it's bad enough for women, but we could cry and we could talk about it. We're women.
Starting point is 00:10:42 We're told not to do that. They can. So they have no fucking outlet. So when, you know, so a lot of times this is the only thing they could do. heroin takes away all that pain. They don't know what to do with it. They can't process it. They can't talk about it.
Starting point is 00:10:57 They can't cry about it to their fucking friends. They are lost. It's like really tragic. I never did. I never did heroin, but I did do oxies a couple of times. And that is it is that it's the feeling of nothingness. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:11:10 It's how I described it. Yeah. It's a wonderful feeling. Yeah. You get why people get addicted and why it's so dangerous. Absolutely. Absolutely. It makes you feel fucking great.
Starting point is 00:11:19 I was strong enough to see that. I actually met my. husband is actually I used twice and then I met my husband and never did it again because he gave you that feeling very different than me what do you mean like in that he was the opposite so you knew he could he would never deal with you if you were like on that shit
Starting point is 00:11:36 correct okay cool so he came in and saved me yeah younger than me and lived not I lived a huge party life and not he did not he's a country boy How old were you when you met him? I was 21 and he was just, he was still in high school. You're kidding.
Starting point is 00:12:00 Wait, so were you like Rock and McCray? Was it even legal? So we didn't get together. Okay. For almost a year. Okay. And so the funny thing is, is he is actually my ex-sister-in-law's cousin. I had never met him back in the day when Faye.
Starting point is 00:12:21 Facebook became like a thing. Remember how it used to be like so-and-so became friends with so-and-so? Yeah. Well, that came up. And I was like, well, who is John? And she goes, that's my cousin. And I said, well, I'm going to fucking marry him one day. Wow, you know.
Starting point is 00:12:39 And we had never met. We had never anything. She goes, that's really weird. No, you're not. And I said, watch me. Yeah. And we were together within a year and a half. So wait.
Starting point is 00:12:50 So now you were. doing, so you acted out obviously because of all this stuff with your mom, of course, that definitely plays into it. But you were like, but you also had this attraction to women and you were playing around women all that time. Did you ever date any females during that time or was it just like hookups? I mean, being so young, I guess sometimes we said we were like, oh, dating or like this is my best friend who I hook up with kind of thing. But I wouldn't say that I officially ever dated a girl. But did you go full on down on girls and stuff? Like I came to hookups like how far did you go? Oh yeah I've had I've had three or four threesomes. So with
Starting point is 00:13:29 boyfriends that you were with or just random threesomes like how did the threesomes come about? One one of them was with a boyfriend who I was with and actually my ex-sister-in-law. This is your brother's wife I'm assuming right? Yeah yeah she always said that she got with him because I was really her soulmate, okay? Wait, wait, wait, you hooked up. So this, you were so, this is such an incestuous story because you also just told me that. I don't remember you saying that, but you just told me you also, like, your husband is this girl's cousin. So you like that whole family you were into.
Starting point is 00:14:08 Oh, my God. Yeah, that's what she told me. She goes, you're just trying to stay in the family. Oh, my God. But wait, was this before she was with your brother? I don't understand. No, it was after they got divorced. Oh my God, even more salacious.
Starting point is 00:14:21 Can you just tell me that story real quick? Oh, my God. I mean, how do you wind up with your brother's ex, wife? Because we were, we became very, very close to their marriage. Okay. She, I actually had this thing. It's called reactive attachment disorder. What is that?
Starting point is 00:14:39 It's where, because of when my mom passed away, it's a very rare thing. It's kind of like a mental illness. Uh-huh. It's pretty much where I become extremely attached. Two people and I just will idolize them no matter what they do or who they are. And she was definitely one of them. And I get almost like a, it's almost like an obsession. And she was super manipulative and super narcissistic and knew how to do all of those things.
Starting point is 00:15:13 I was very high. We drank a lot. Like to the, I was drinking vodka and crystal light, like when I woke up. Oh, wow. Okay. How old were you at this time? Oh, boy. 17.
Starting point is 00:15:29 Okay, yeah, Tina. Listen, I did the same shit. I got it. Okay, 17. Go on. No, these were all, this is, all of my craziness was from about 10 years old till I got with John when I was 21. He really saved you.
Starting point is 00:15:45 Oh, yeah, absolutely. Yeah, you're lucky. Yeah, you're lucky because a lot of people don't have that person that comes in at that age. I had two DWIs before I was, by the time I was 21. Oh, my God. Yeah. Well, somehow you were trying. I blew 0.29th.
Starting point is 00:16:00 In a weird way, it's like the universe was trying to stop you. I never got a DUI or anything. I was just able to just fuck up my life for many years until I was 34 not to quit myself. So I'm like, you were just like not destined for a life of craziness because you. See, that's exactly how. I think of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It just wasn't going to work out for you. Because then I see people who I like thought I would grow up with or be with them for it. And I'm like, holy cow, I'm so glad. Yeah. Yeah. I did not go that way. Yeah. But wait, let's get back to the brother's ex-wife. So you were always a little hooked on her. She's dating your brother. Did she know that you were like into women and stuff? Is that how she would do her way? Yes. Yes, because she always was. And she, her lifestyle was a lot like my lifestyle.
Starting point is 00:16:52 And then we kind of like, as their marriage dissipated, we got closer. So, and the thing is, I despised her when my brother first got together. Really? So, yes, yep, yep. And it's like she, so the thing is even when she met, this is who she is. Even when she met my brother, someone told her, like, he is. like he is so in love with this person that's not even a thing and she goes watch me and she made my brother hooked and so basically she got us both hooked and she yeah well she's no different
Starting point is 00:17:27 than you when you saw her cousin you were like watch me i mean you guys are kind of the same i mean like yeah she kind of was like went after what she wanted as well how old was she at the time she had to be 21 okay so she's 21 and a crazy person narcissist and she gets you wrapped on her finger like How does it come to be that you got who leans over one day and makes a pass at who? Like what's that what happens that time? So we all worked. I worked at a snowmobile tour plays with her and we used to go up in the shop. And I mean, it was a snowmobile shop and two women worked there with a bunch of filthy men.
Starting point is 00:18:03 So you can only imagine what happened up there. I don't know. You tell me. Well, this one guy got me on a movie line. actually he told me he hadn't seen a real tit in six years and he was a cute guy and we were kind of friends so I fell bad so I showed him my tits yeah and then she started being like well if you're going to do that this is really like me and him actually hook up and we've asked we've thought about and want to know if you want to too and I was like whoa wait
Starting point is 00:18:42 What? By this point, are you secretly like into her? Like you find her attractive? So I actually never found her attractive. Oh, okay. Okay. So that's actually, I've been doing research and when you ask what I consider myself, it used to be bisexual. I think I'm more of what they say Paulie. Yeah. Because I can totally get down with you if I'm not like physically attracted to you. Mm-hmm. If you, like, make me laugh and make me feel good about myself, there's definitely that kind of attraction sometimes overpowers the physical attraction. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:21 So she got you that way? Correct. Okay. So that is, was it that night that you showed that guy, your tit, that you had a threesome with her and the guy, her guy? That was the, not, I don't know if you would consider that a threesome. She, he was in her and she ate me out. Is that considered a threesome? I think so.
Starting point is 00:19:41 Okay. So, yeah. Yes. You didn't fuck the guy, but you were, like she would. He's huge. Huge, like his cock is huge or he's a big guy. No, no, he has a huge cock. And actually, I used to consider, I used to tell people I have a TT.
Starting point is 00:19:56 I have a tiny twat. So I couldn't take it. Oh, my God. I had a friend like that who she'd always be like, I have a very small vagina. Like, I just need a guy with a small dick. Oh, okay. So his dick was too big for you. But she went down on you.
Starting point is 00:20:09 Was it good? I mean, yes. Okay. Yes, I enjoyed it. Okay. And that wasn't the first time you were with a woman, right? You had other three sons. No, yes.
Starting point is 00:20:20 And you had gone down on girls yourself? Yes. But did you go down on her? Yes, I have, but not that night. Okay, so how did it continue on? I'm sorry, I'm a little obsessed with the story because people are going to be like kind of horny for it. It's like a porn.
Starting point is 00:20:34 It's like a porn. Do you sleep with your brother's ex-wife? Sorry, but it is. We're going to move it along, I promise. We used to go, she used to clean houses and we would kind of have parties at those houses. Oh my God. So a couple of them happened at those houses. I guess one of them, you could, I don't, it was like more of a more of a fivesome.
Starting point is 00:21:00 Mm-hmm. Because there was three girls and two guys and we were all in a hot tub. Mm-hmm. It kind of gets awkward sometimes, but it was. fun. Did your brother ever find out that you hooked up with her? I think that he knows, yeah. We've never actually had a fall on conversation, but our relationship has been estranged for a long time. You and your brother? Yeah, he sees our childhood very differently. He probably had a, I mean, listen, three people could grow up in the same house, five people, two people,
Starting point is 00:21:33 and have a completely different experience. And that one does not, and no one's right or wrong in that situation, especially because he was a guy and you were a female, and sometimes parents treat children differently. I mean, there's a lot of reasons for... That was what the thing was. Yeah, it's unfortunate, but it happens all the time. And you got to feel bad for the brother, right? Because for the person that has the shorter end of the stick, they could become very bitter, right? If their other person and their family had it better than them for whatever reason, you see it all the time. And it is unfortunate. But so, okay, let's get, let's move on, though, from all of this. I was just like, slightly obsessed with this part.
Starting point is 00:22:10 Sorry. These are the kind of stories I heard that one line. You were going to be like, oh. Oh, my God. And all the psychology, all of it is fascinating to me. So you wind up getting saved definitely by your husband, right? Like, he comes in at the right time. And he's this really good guy.
Starting point is 00:22:27 He's nurturing. He's like what you kind of look for in somebody. And you fall for him right away. Absolutely. Yep. Okay. So you're lucky. I did get very lucky.
Starting point is 00:22:38 Yeah. So you were. attracted to him. Good sex. What's your sex life with your husband? And did he know right from the get-go that you were ever with women and about your past and stuff? So he knew that I was with women, but he apparently didn't know that I was actually bisexual. Okay. So he just thought you had fun, drunk shit, whatever. Yes. Yep. Yep. He didn't take it seriously. Yes. And you never brought it up to him. Oh, you were fine to give up that part of your life and just be with your husband, correct? So before we had gotten together, like officially, we had definitely had the conversation of having a threesome and that it could be a possibility.
Starting point is 00:23:21 But then we got together and I just, I shut myself out completely. Like, even my friends were like, you're different. I actually don't even have any of those same friends because they're like, we don't even know you anymore. Like I was like I was the life of the party. Yeah. And within like days. Are you kidding? No, no.
Starting point is 00:23:47 What did you become? Like just obsessed with her guy? I was just home with him. Yeah. Yeah. You were just looking for that ever since you were younger probably. Correct. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:00 Yeah. And as a friend, it would feel like abandonment for your friends like, oh my God, this bitch just dumped me for a guy. I mean, like it's a worst thing for girlfriends, right? When your girlfriend dumps you from a guy. But it happens a lot. It's on whatever. But that's really probably what you were really looking for.
Starting point is 00:24:17 And that was like a real amazing place for you to be at that point. It really was. Yeah. And still is. Yeah. So you guys get married. How is your marriage? Because eventually he does cheat on you.
Starting point is 00:24:30 What winds up happening that that winds up happening? I got really, really depressed. So we've been together for 30. 13 years. And mind you, again, he was, he was 18 when we got together. How old are you guys right now? I am 35 and he is 31. Okay. So you guys are still young. So how long into your marriage did the depression hit? And have you guys ever had kids? We have three kids. Okay. So when did the depression come into play? When I had, after I had my first kid. Okay. Was it like postpartum right after? So I would say now, yes.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Then not I. So for my whole life, I've been told what is wrong with me. Because my mom passed at such a young age, I was actually like state mandated to go to counseling and all of that. So I've always been told how, what is wrong with me? So it just got worse with each kid, really. Really? And I just. Was it right after you gave birth?
Starting point is 00:25:32 a little bit during too I was going to say how were you with the hormonal changes during the pregnancy with my first which would be my daughter it was like the glowing pregnancy I loved it I couldn't wait okay and then when I had her we were living in John's parent's house in his school
Starting point is 00:25:54 bedroom so again like life of the party now I'm stuck in her room with a baby while he's at work. And you're like 22, right? Like you're really young, right? I'm assuming you had babies right away. I can't even imagine.
Starting point is 00:26:10 I mean, no offense. I'd be depressed too with a baby at 22. So then we got pregnant very quickly with our second one. They're actually considered Irish twins. Oh, wow. Okay, right away. Yep, yep. Because for a while there, for some reason,
Starting point is 00:26:27 like him telling me he was going to impregnate me was like the hottest thing ever. Oh my God, hilarious. Now I have a whole hysterectomy, so that's not going to happen. Right. But it was like a horny kind of thing, and you would do it, and then you're pregnant. Yeah. So then we had our second.
Starting point is 00:26:47 And then the third one was a complete surprise, and we literally, like, at that point, our sex life, our life was slowly dissipating. And we both even, because I actually was told I was pregnant, at a colonoscopy appointment. And I had done all my prep and everything. And they were going to put me asleep. And then they're like, yeah, you're pregnant. Okay, so now you have three babies.
Starting point is 00:27:12 And you're probably, what, 25? That was like my mother's life. Oh, my God. Yeah. And your guy's even younger than you. Yes. And then he, I mean, he went, that's why, like a lot of people see it from just one point of view that he had two affairs.
Starting point is 00:27:28 but that poor man went through and tried everything with me. There were days upon days where I was in bed and wouldn't get out, couldn't get out, where we'd try to go do family stuff. And I would throw a fit. I couldn't handle it. I'd get anxiety. I'd ruin it. All of the things.
Starting point is 00:27:48 And he never gave up. He never stopped trying until finally one day he, I guess he did. And actually, I can't even say that because he, he had the two affairs but he still came home and take care of me and the kids and it wasn't like he wasn't around but he also wanted to feel happiness so I don't blame him for that so let me ask you this because you wind up finding out that he had the first affair like how did you find out were there signs yeah well both of them I kind of knew they were happening the first one I he was out really late one night and I thought I took his bone. And I went through all the messages and I beat
Starting point is 00:28:35 his ass and his sleep. Oh, because you waited until he was sleeping and then went rifling through. What did you find? Was it someone that you knew? Was it a random? No, I did. I did not know her. Okay. Not the first one. She, we actually talked. I actually talked at both of them. Me and her actually talked and basically he had told her that he was unhappy they started hanging out and she knew that it would never be anything because how do you start a relationship out like that and she also knew that he wasn't ever going to leave me because he had every excuse in the I mean he even used the chickens as an excuse at one point what chickens you guys have chickens yeah you live a you have a farm too like a little one it's nothing big but yeah
Starting point is 00:29:25 like a little homesteading area. Okay. So was she cool? I mean, like it doesn't, do you, I mean, you said you. She was. Yeah. I don't, I don't have any feeling, no, I have no bad feelings towards her. I, I actually sad for her that she got mixed up in the middle of it.
Starting point is 00:29:42 Again, like, I won't ever like condone and I don't ever think cheating's okay. But do I understand why it happened the times it happened? Yes. Yeah. I think it's important to tell. the whole story. That's why, I mean, I do have a podcaster friend on. I talk about a lot how she was like, I would never have a cheat. You have cheaters on your show? I'm like, of course I have cheaters in my show. Like, it's important to talk about why people cheat. There is that person, the philanderer, who just
Starting point is 00:30:08 like, well, fuck anybody that walks just because he wants to. He's feeding his ego. Right. There are bad people. Yeah, there's like people that cheat for them. But a lot of people, they cheat. She just wanted to feel happiness. And I totally get that. Yeah, there's reasons for it. Maybe when you hear the whole story, you might feel different about it. And that's, and that's, you just wanted to, why I like to hear people out because what do people do? It's never right to cheat, right? There's a million other things you could do before you do that and it's never the right thing. But human beings are not perfect. We all fucking make mistakes and I hate people that judge people that do it. Even if it's not right, he did it. But does that make him a terrible person, the worst husband on the planet?
Starting point is 00:30:46 No, because you could understand where it was coming from because you guys were in a really bad place and I give you credit for being able to sort of take some accountability for it and I'm assuming he took accountability for his actions as well when you confronted him so the first time yes and no it took some time the second time absolutely well what do you mean the first time no yes and no like how did he respond when he woke up to beating his ass he grabbed my he grabbed his phone
Starting point is 00:31:17 and he started crying and just kept telling me that he was sorry and said that's taking account that's what I mean by taking accountability I mean like he was not he he he knew he did something wrong and copped to it right so he in that point then yeah he always takes accountability yeah but why did you say no what did you think I was talking about and how was well just because he he still he said it was over with the first time it wasn't completely over and he kind of tried to um he wasn't as kind as he was the second time around, I guess, was the way to put it. I guess it was like, oh, I got caught and be an asshole for a moment kind of thing. The second time. No, the first time. The second time, he told me,
Starting point is 00:32:03 he got the kids to go to his parents, and he sat down. We smoked a bong, and he looked at me, because he had already, he had texted me that day and said, we need to talk. and we had already been it had been awful at that point so I was said to him I said if you're going to leave me I'd rather you just do it through a message so I don't come home to the kids
Starting point is 00:32:29 and I can deal with it and he goes no that's not it I can't I've tried we need to talk so I finished working and get home and like I said we smoke a bong and
Starting point is 00:32:43 he looks down the ground and he says I've been cheating on you how long after this How long after the first time he was cheating? Did this happen? A year. A year later. Now, at this point, did you start to suspect it again? Did you have a feeling?
Starting point is 00:32:58 Something was going out? Yes. What were the tells? He doesn't come home late and how he acts around. He is a very guilty man when he's doing something wrong. Guys are so dumb sometimes. He's like a dog that pouts in the corner. Oh, so you could tell.
Starting point is 00:33:14 Absolutely. And he was this time around, where the first time around, He was just drunk a lot and in a really bad place. And this time around, it ate him alive. I could see everything. Because I kept questioning him all the time. What's wrong with you? You're depressed.
Starting point is 00:33:33 You're sitting in bed. This isn't you. This is, I'm one getting you up. What's going on? And then finally, it just ate him enough to where he came. And we had our conversation. Right. And so he tells you, was he, was it somebody else?
Starting point is 00:33:47 It wasn't the same girl, right? No, no. It was a different girl. I do. I know who she is. I have never liked her. It is actually so his buddy had committed suicide and it was his baby's mama. Oh, wow. How long after the guy committed suicide did they, did she hook up with your guy? A year. So he, the reason he started going downhill is because his friend took his life. Me being so suicidal. It was just really, really, really hard for him to actually see what it would be like if I took my life. Yeah, that must have bonded those two together. I hate to say it.
Starting point is 00:34:31 Well, and he had a kid. So what it was is that he wanted to go see the kid. And she fed right into that because that's just who she is. Yeah. Well, of course. And, I mean, did they, was he friends? They hated each other. No.
Starting point is 00:34:47 that's what this is where it got me really this is why i took i did take the second one so rough because one i just don't like who she is as a person she's not a good person her whole family they're just not good people and he even when his friend was alive run her name through the dirt just terrible terrible things because she's not she's a terrible person your husband would Yes, my husband would say things about her and about how he didn't want his friend to even be with her. And then after he took his life, there was just none of the friends were even there for her. And then all of a sudden, yeah, he goes, yeah, it was her. And I did not take that well.
Starting point is 00:35:37 Oh, my God. I wish I was talking to him. I'd be like, how did it turn from you like fucking hating her to you banging her? What's the move? Like what happens? He says there's a, he says he has, which makes. sense of why he wanted to be with me because I asked him that. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:51 One answer was there's a really fine line between love and hate. Yeah. Okay. And then the other one was that he has an uncontrollable need to try to help women who seem unhelpable. I know guys like that. And they happen to be really nice guys. Yeah, he's a great guy. That's why I've never told, I've never, I mean, he's an asshole, but I've never said anything to anyone about this whole situation bad about him. You guys see it this way, but you have to actually, like, I've even told my dad, dad,
Starting point is 00:36:25 do you remember how I treated you when you were a kid? He's, yeah. Well, that's how I treat John. Would you want to be married to that? And he's, oh, yep, I get it. Right. So you're saying when you tell people you explain why, yeah, you give him that path, why you gave him that pass because you stayed with him through both these times.
Starting point is 00:36:44 How long ago was that second time? About five months ago. Oh, recently. Mm-hmm. Oh, wow. And how do you feel about that whole situation now just five minutes, five months later? So I am actually the happiest that I've ever been in my life. And so is he.
Starting point is 00:37:04 Because did you come clean about being into women right after that? Like, when did that park coming to the story? So I spent about a week after this had happened really, really low. by myself, crying a lot, doing a lot of just self-thinking. I initially, they would have been like come to the doctors and get a beaut and this and that, and I didn't want to do it this time. I was like, you're going to deal with this. You're going to figure your shit out.
Starting point is 00:37:34 And I just did a lot of self-reflection to be completely honest with you. And realized, one, that I needed to process my mom and not live there. because I still fallheartedly was living there. And that I needed to, yes, come clean with the fact that I do like women. And that it's not just like a, like I want a woman to be a part of our relationship. Like I would, my dream is to actually find one to be like a part of our marriage. Well, like where did that come into play in this situation? I've always wanted that.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Okay. So that's what I was going to say. So you had always been thinking about this secretly in your brain. even like before I even met my husband John. Were you always like I want to be with just a woman or with a woman and a man? No, I've always wanted like a three-way marriage. It's just, oh, I don't know. Even when I was a kid, there's just something comforting to me, I guess.
Starting point is 00:38:34 I don't know. To have both? Yeah. Well, listen, it can be done. Wait till you hear my episode coming out tomorrow. She's got two guys. She's poly, it's a polythruple. And they're all in love.
Starting point is 00:38:44 It's more complicated to everyone else. But with them, there's no drama there. just happy. See, that's my hope. That's exactly it. And we're both there giving people and we just love people. Well, tell me how that conversation went, because you always felt this in your head. Was it easier for you to throw it on the table after he, like, cheated on you the second time? You're like, okay, you know what? I'm just going to tell you. Or did you tell him before? So we have a, I have a friend who we have always, we flirt with her, both of us. And we've always had the joke. oh, what if we'd be a thruffle?
Starting point is 00:39:18 What if we do this? Yeah. It's always been like, oh, we slap each other's asses and we talk about it kind of thing. So we were sitting in bed and I was just like, so what if, what if we get a girlfriend? I was like, what if that's like what we need? So this is all in the past five months? Yes. Okay.
Starting point is 00:39:39 So you said to him, what if we bring her in? So that was our idea. Yeah. that's not going to work out did you propose it to her and she put it down I mean why I proposed it to her and she didn't no she didn't put it down we tried and I think it was more like we were hoping
Starting point is 00:40:01 because it would be easy yeah there was no like there was no fire there for either me or my husband yeah I get we made we both made out with her and we were drunk too so we thought we're going to feel this because we've been waiting for like almost two years for this moment. Yeah, and you thought that there was like this chemistry there because there was all this flirting going on all this time.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Yeah, you would think. You know, like we're all even wet. He's hard because there's just so much flirting. But it's almost like it was like too built up. Yeah, that sucks. Because typically it's the opposite. Like when you make out, that's when you feel the chemistry. Like you gave it a try.
Starting point is 00:40:37 You both made out with her and it was like nothing. Yeah. Oh, yeah. And we were all like together. It was like we were all hanging out. Oh, yeah. and it just didn't know there's nothing for her too i think so i haven't we've actually like it's our friendships got this was just this weekend too and we kind of haven't talked that much so i
Starting point is 00:40:58 think it's kind of a mutual thing yeah okay so that's on the table but yeah in the perfect world would it be so easy for that just to be the solution because that's what you guys want but then we're totally in this like state of mind that like that just wasn't that wasn't the one but like he keeps telling me because he knows that he can tell everyone can tell actually who sees me in the last five months they're like what's different about you I've lost 30 pounds uh you like even my kids are like you're so happy mom you don't yell like what's going on and I just keep telling I'm like I'm just happy and is it because you put this on the table do you feel like that's what it is or it's everything combined like you realizing that you want to deal with the mom thing
Starting point is 00:41:40 and put that in the past and move through it as well as are you. Yeah, I think it's just everything. And we have opened up till we watch porn together now and stuff. Where, to be honest with you, I made him ashamed of that. You mean he would watch it and you would put him down for it? Yeah. Because he really liked it. Like, even before we got together, he was just like a guy who likes porn, which is completely fine.
Starting point is 00:42:01 But for some reason, I made him feel like shit about it. And how and why did that change? Why did you decide to change that? Because I just decided to tell myself that just because, I'm a mom doesn't mean I can't have all of these sexual fantasies and fulfill them. Yeah, it's hard to keep in touch with both sides of yourself when you're a mom. You could become full on mom. I know I lost that part of myself for a while when you have young kids. It's very easily, you have to remember that you're a sexual being too. Yeah, and I had never felt the term like you have to like fill your
Starting point is 00:42:34 stuff up but too. Otherwise, no one else is filled up and like I even like I said, I see it at my kids and it is sometimes I'm like is this okay that I'm like happy this happy just because like I opened up to my husband we have a lot of sex we watch porn and talk to girls and I'm like ecstatic and I literally have never felt this happy in my life but a part of you is oh my god I I I shouldn't be happy because I don't deserve it because I you're so used to be making everybody else happy instead of yourself that's sad yeah yeah yeah it's okay for you to be happy that's way it should be and look everyone's happier because of it like they say on the play Like you take the oxygen first and that's how you save your kids.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Like you, that's really what you always should have been doing. That's the best way to give to everybody else. Yeah. Yeah. Because even your unhappiness before, was it making your husband happy? It was making it miserable, right? I mean, like it all stemmed from that you not really taking care of yourself at the end of the day. Yes.
Starting point is 00:43:33 And I also have never, ever in my life felt like I was enough. And my husband is very highly. attractive. And like I'm pretty. I'm a very pretty woman, but I am curvy. I have coke bottle shape. When I was when I was younger, I was as I would call pleasantly plump. And like I had sex with hot guys, but no one was allowed to know about it. Oh, interesting. Are you serious? Yes, dead serious. Like I like a lot of them and I was always the secret. So it was, I never understood when John, because that's how I think of it is. So he was very popular, hot to trot.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Yeah. So I always describe it as he was the one that everybody wanted, and I was the one that everyone wanted to keep hidden. But not him. And it took me clearly 13 years for some reason to finally be okay with that, I guess. It's just my trauma. And for some reason, he still, he is in love with me. even though he's done the affairs, but he never stopped loving me any less, and I know that.
Starting point is 00:44:46 Yeah, listen, I had a really amazing episode once, and I remember that it was this girl named Camille, and I actually re-aired her recently because I remember like a light bulb going off of my head because of it, and she was a woman who caught her husband having an affair, and then what happened was he gave her a free pass to go and have an affair do what she wanted, and she wound up finding another guy. And what she said was that when she did fall in love with this other guy and have this relationship and still with her husband, she was really able to understand that one had nothing to do with the other. Like she could be into this guy and doing this, but it didn't mean she didn't love her husband. But we all assume, oh, if our husband loved us, like he wouldn't cheat on me or because
Starting point is 00:45:32 my husband cheating on you, like people assume, oh, he doesn't love you. But that doesn't necessarily that's not necessarily always true. Yes, sometimes someone has fallen out of love, and that is why they cheat, right? But sometimes they're still in love, but they cheat because they're going through a bad time. There's a million reasons. Like, look what was going on between you,
Starting point is 00:45:54 but it didn't mean that he didn't fall out of love with you. He fell out of like for you. Maybe he didn't like you at that time, but that love was still there, and it can still be there. It's not so black and white. No. Life is a lot more gray than people want it to be. Everyone wants things to be black and white.
Starting point is 00:46:10 It's much easier to put things in boxes and look at things that way because it makes more sense. People want to be like, oh, someone cheats on you. Leave them immediately. The end of story. It doesn't matter. Someone cheats is a cheater. They're an asshole. I love that you were able to work it through with your guy.
Starting point is 00:46:25 And you guys are still a work in progress. I mean, it's five months later, but you really, it really sounds like you're at a very pivotal time in your life. We always look back. And I'm older than you, so I can look back and see even more time where you just have those big, moments of those years of like massive change where you really like shift and grow as a person. It's pretty amazing that you're finally at the place where you want to sort of move past what happened with your mother when you were younger and at the same time you decided to come clean about really being into women and being Polly.
Starting point is 00:46:57 Like all of that is just you being more truthful with yourself. It's amazing. Yeah, it's like the most freeing thing too. It's amazing. Like I said, I lost 30 pounds and I was like, that's all just. That was all stuff I was just holding on to. Totally. Of course.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Because I haven't even tried. I haven't changed anything about my daily routine. It's just my depression as that's all I can come up with. I haven't added any extra exercise more than what I do. No, that's happiness. Your cortisol changes like when you're depressed and stuff. Yeah. Yeah, that's a true thing, especially around your waist.
Starting point is 00:47:31 I mean, it's a fucking fact. And look, you could see it like it just happened immediately for you. And like you said you didn't change anything. But I think changing your brain. and changing the way you felt and going from being super depressed to being happy and lifting things. I think keeping that secret to yourself and setting it free as a big release and also wanting to let go of the stuff that you're holding on with your mom is a huge thing as well. You're still in therapy, I'm assuming.
Starting point is 00:48:00 You've always been in therapy? No. Nope. I stopped going to therapy when I didn't have to go anymore. I like talking to people. I, however, don't believe in therapy, to be honest with you. Is it because, like, you did say early on, like, people have always told me what I am. So that's absolutely why.
Starting point is 00:48:18 Yeah, yeah, I can imagine how that would feel. And listen, like, I did a whole episode about how I, like, quit drinking. Like, without A, yeah, I did it for six months. But then I was like, if I go here all the time, I'm going to wind up drinking again because I just can't be talking about it every fucking day. Like, sometimes there is a time for therapy to, like, live in it and work it and everything. But then there's a time that you have to move on and just do life too. And I think it can be detrimental to just be sitting in the middle of a problem
Starting point is 00:48:45 ruminating about it all the fucking time. I don't know that you necessarily have to do that or that's healthy. It's like there's different times in your life. And so I get, I get it. So that's the biggest thing is every therapist I've gone to in my adult years, they're like, you need to go to a trauma specialist and I'll open all this stuff. And I'm like, I don't want to do that. I have three kids to take care of.
Starting point is 00:49:06 Yeah. Well, listen, when I would go to AA, this, like, I had this, like, sponsor, and she was, like, 18. I was like, how long had you drank for before you quit? And she was, like, trying to tell me, like, you got to come every single day and talk. And I'm like, I just don't want to go every day for the rest of my life. It was just so daunting to think of. And I was like, it's not realistic. It's not going to happen. It's just like. I felt like. I'm going to stab every day. It's never going to get better then. Yeah. And I'm not, I'm going to fail. Like, I felt like I was then. I was going to be a big fat failure that I was like, this just isn't for me. And it's not for everybody, right? It is for some people. And listen, you might wind up back in therapy at different times in your life for sure. And what's amazing is that it's always there. But I believe there have been times in my life where I was in intensive therapy and it fucking changed my life. And then I wasn't for 10 years.
Starting point is 00:49:53 And then I maybe will be again at some point. When you pick it up when you need it, but you don't have to do it every fucking day. Look at Howard Stern. He does it every day three times a week and he's still a psychopath. There is a thing of a kind of not. thinking about it at some points. It's just getting back to your fucking life, don't you think? Yes. Yeah. And that's okay. And I think, and look, and I think sometimes when you're sort of given that
Starting point is 00:50:16 space and that time to just think for yourself and stuff, like you could have those moments of like, oh my God, light bulb going off because you did. You're not even in therapy. And you're just, you're like literally at a time where you're doing all these major changes yourself. Oh, I think it's because I went to so much things. that I know like all of their tricks and trades and how to that was one of my biggest things throughout all of this is I'm like Beth you had to do all of these things like you make your lists and you know how to do it and then you don't do it it's like you it's time that you actually do it because you're going to lose your husband you're going to lose your kids and then you're
Starting point is 00:50:56 going to lose yourself so it was like this aha moment and I kind of just came home and sucked it up and everything just slowly started changing and getting better. Yeah, that's amazing. Yeah, a lot of my friends would be like, okay, the reason why you don't need AA is because like you live it anyway. You know what I mean? You do all the things that all these AA people do, but you just do them on your own because I was like you and that, I was in therapy a lot. And if I wasn't in therapy, I read every self-help book there was like, you know, for millions of years, I was just obsessed with figuring myself out. So I just did all that work. And I think, yeah, we just get to a place where we kind of know.
Starting point is 00:51:34 But like I said, listen, I mean, you have been, you said suicidal. I mean, that's always a place you never want to get to. That means you didn't get help soon enough if you're at the point where. I tried twice. I was hospitalized twice when I was, I was 12 and 16 years old. Yeah. Listen, that's like a scary thing. And you never want to get to that place again.
Starting point is 00:51:57 And that's why therapy is great that if you ever feel yourself slipping or anything, it's important that you never allow yourself to get to that. that point because that's a point to me you never get to that point unless you've sort of ignored a lot of points before yeah there was a lot of points yeah that is like someone who has been unhappy for so long and hasn't done anything about it or seek any help when it sometimes there's people around them trying to get them but if you if you don't and then so you're then then you get to a point where you're literally like in a place where you're it's like you're delusional you really think that there is no hope and nothing will change. And that doesn't happen overnight. That
Starting point is 00:52:35 happens when you've just been so unhappy for so long that you don't even know the difference anymore. And that you never want to get to. But it sounds like it hasn't happened for you in a really long time, even though you have been depressed and stuff. So you work through that. But, you know, like I said, you might wind up in therapy again. But like right now, I think it's amazing that you're able to work through the things that you have. You've obviously done so much work on yourself already and you guys have a real open future, right? What does it look like for you and your husband? You're on the same page, right? He's down for your thruple. Oh yeah. Probably thruple. Yeah, that's what I told him too. I'm like, are you sure? I was like, what happens when we're both in a bad mood? He's like,
Starting point is 00:53:18 I'm just going to have to see which one needs the more attention at the moment. What happens when you both get your period? Your periods will sink up. Oh, my God. That is a true thing that happens with checks. That's so funny. So how are you going to go about looking for girls? Do you know? So we're on that website. I actually heard it on your podcast a couple of times.
Starting point is 00:53:39 It's vet life. Yeah. Okay. We've talked to a couple of girls on there. We're going to try to get out a little bit more. That is one of our big problems is that consumed with children. And we literally stopped like dating each other and spending time. together so that's a huge thing we're going to try to do and hopefully maybe just meet someone
Starting point is 00:54:00 the old-fashioned way two of the girls we're talking to unfet life though they're fun one of them writes amazing fantasies they're like so vivid it's like you're living in the moment wow what is she in your area no unfortunately they're about like an hour or so away from us so we're trying to like so we're trying to make a plan to meet halfway or something so so that'll have It's really fun and it's refreshing and it's fun to actually like flirt with a girl with him. To be honest with you, I like it a lot. Do you guys have the same taste and checks? So far, yes.
Starting point is 00:54:39 That's good. And so far, most of the girls we've reached out to have been like that they've always been nervous. They wouldn't be attracted to both of the male and the female. And they've always given us both really good compliments. So that made me feel good. Yeah, well, you said your husband's hot, right? Oh, yes, yes. Yeah, that's great.
Starting point is 00:55:01 So you guys are a good couple. Now, did your husband have any reservations about you being into women when you first put on the table, like when you had that initial conversation? Or was he like, oh, yeah, this is great? I wouldn't say there were reservations. He had questions. Yeah, what were his questions? Like, how does it work? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:21 What do you, like, what do you see? Uh-huh. that if it was to ever be like more than just pulling around that he would expect it to be like equally and it's not like she gets to go do her thing like she's a part of us she is a part of the marriage and kind of thing right meaning she's monogamous to you guys correct that's the word I'm looking for thank you and he does he wants that too as well yes yeah interesting he see it's Honestly, he's a guy. I mean, how many of them are really going to say no?
Starting point is 00:55:58 But ultimately, he can see how happy it makes me doing all of these things with him already. So he, that's what he's always said. And sometimes I'm like, I don't understand that because he will say, I am happy because you are happy. Yeah. And I'm like, well, but what makes you happy? And he's you being happy. And I'm like, no. But apparently that's what makes him happy.
Starting point is 00:56:23 Yeah, he's one of those guys. I know that. It's like breed. It's like a breed of dog. It's like a breed of guys. I know that breed. And they're made for girls like you. Thank God that breed of guy exists because he was made for somebody like you, right?
Starting point is 00:56:35 There is somebody for everybody. My last question is, I mean, he has cheated on you twice. And you do have a lot of trauma. Sometimes when you do, it can be hard to, like, trust people and stuff. I mean, do you trust your husband? I mean, or. So weirdly enough, I never have until now. Really?
Starting point is 00:56:52 interesting why because you feel like knowing even these lies that he did in him copping to them you see that he loves me right that that that proved that yeah had to happen for him for you to believe it or something i guess unfortunately that interesting like you said i had a lot of trauma like i was raped twice i had a men do things to me that i didn't want um so i mean obviously that's why became so obviously. Yeah, that always happens acting out. So I just, I never trusted him. And it wasn't, and that's not fair. It wasn't ever fair. So I guess this time going into it, yeah, we've been married. We have kids, but I also
Starting point is 00:57:35 wasn't going into it freshly. I'm going to give him that chance I never gave him, basically. I'm going to tell him who I am and then give my trust to him. And who knows, he could fuck me over. But in my heart, I don't believe that that's what will happen. And do you feel like some a little bit was, or maybe it's kind of like your biggest fear, like you faced it and you faced it twice? Yeah. Yeah. Well, no, because my biggest fear is him leaving me. That's my biggest fear.
Starting point is 00:58:07 So, and he hasn't done that. I don't think he's leaving you anytime soon. Yeah, I don't either. He's going to get two girls. Yeah. He's going to get two girls. Maybe once a month, it might be annoying when you're both got your periods. but besides that.
Starting point is 00:58:20 No, I have a hysterectomy, so we're good. Oh, okay. Oh, so no one's going to sink up. You're right. I forgot all that. Oh, my God. Well, my daughter and her might. That'll be something.
Starting point is 00:58:29 Oh, my God. Well, she can help around the house. Listen, it takes a village. She's spicy already. It takes a village with children. So it's always super great to have another woman around to help you. Exactly. And my kids are so understanding, too.
Starting point is 00:58:42 So I have no. I don't think that will be even an issue. All right. Well, listen, this demands a part two. when you do wind up with that girl, you need to come on and give us the details. I feel like it'll be this year sometimes. I'm hoping it'll be before a year. Yeah, I see it happening soon.
Starting point is 00:59:02 So keep me posted. And when you got that girlfriend and she's moved in, let's get the deets on it. Make sure to listen to my story with, I think it's Bunny, Ashley, Ashley Bunny. She's got this. Okay. I listen to you every morning. All right. I love it.
Starting point is 00:59:15 So listen to hers because she's got a polythruple going on. so you'll, I think you'll dig it with no drama. I got to tell you, have you gotten those, that couple back on yet that you were trying to get on who one of them called and they're the paid help and the guy called? Oh my God, the daddy, daddy called like wears no panties. No, they keep calling and leaving me message. I think she was insulted by my last critique. But she called and said, oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:59:40 I have a story. I keep sending the link. That one killed me, Kathy. I was like, she called and left another one, but it was like, oh, blah, blah, blah. I'll give you the details. So I sent her the link, but she hasn't booked anything yet. I'm hoping because that's a fucking story right there. Yeah.

Starting point is 01:01:10 it's called Strictly anonymous confession, Secret Sex Lives of Total Strangers, is now available, not only in people, back an e-book, but you can pre-order the audiobook. It's still not going to be out until August 25th, but you can pre-order it. The book is basically 17 different stories taken from my show. I kind of picked one story from each category that I talk about on my show. Like, there's a hot wife story. There's a cuck queen story. There's a cuck story. There's a gang-bang girl story. Like I said, 17 stories. And they're all told in the third person.
Starting point is 01:01:47 And they're all true. I took the interview and rewrote it in the third person. And I wouldn't really call it like a total erotica book. Think like penthouse letters. It's more direct. It's not so over the top like erotica. I don't really like that kind of vibe, right? But these are true stories. 17 of them. They're really short chapters, easy read. You could read one or two and then skip around. You could read the whole book. It's available in eback format, paperback form. And finally, the audio book is available coming out August 25th, but you could pre-order it now.
