Witnesses, you're right. That's your religion. Now, I've talked to people in your religion a long time ago. I don't feel like I've really talked to someone with that background recently. And I have listened to, I think you had two or three possibly in the past quite a while ago that you had spoken to. And we definitely could relate to their stories and what they had said.

Yeah, because, yeah, we view it as a cult now. Yeah. We've been out since 2016. So for about eight years. Did you have to write a letter to get yourself out or something? I don't know. I see a lot of people. I'm the real housewives do that.

Yeah, it depends on the people. people just like to do what they call fade where they just don't go anymore. But we wanted a clean break. So my wife and I both wrote a letter. And we said, we no longer want to be affiliated with your religion. But the religion hampered our life for so many years. We've been married for over 30 years. And there were times when we didn't even sleep in the same bed because of differences we had from the religion that, what they were telling us. mean. Why don't you explain? Let's talk about it. It's kind of interesting because it's, this is all how to do with sex and, and what they put on you in that religion and how it was

interfering in your relationship. And this is before your penile implant and before you got ED and anything like that, right? This is when things were good to go, but you were having issues because you were Jehovah Witness and God tells you you can't do certain things, right? Correct. Correct. So it's like they control everything. They come before everything else. they come before your marriage, your family. Who's they? The organization, the religion. Yeah.

So it's not even God. So it's not even really like God. It's like the organization. It's a day. It's a hierarchy of eight men in New York. Yeah. Oh, interesting. And they proclaim what they want you to do on high and they write it in their magazines

and in their publications and they expect you to follow those rules and regulations. Oh, no. They're going to come after me. Yeah. Very, very coercive, very controlling. And a lot of innuendo, like in the sense of, well, if you were a real or true Christian, you would or wouldn't do this. Yeah. So they don't really come out and say don't.

But they, like I said, it's an innuendo. Yeah, but how is it? It's so powerful that I had you guys like sleeping in different rooms because there were issues. So it can't be that like sort of. not direct because they put real restrictions on you. Oh, definitely. Yeah. What are they?

Yeah. Well, for instance, when it comes to medical things, you cannot get a blood transfusion. It's against the policy to receive a blood transfusion. So, gosh, a big, you're in a car accident. You need blood. And people really listen to that? Yes. People really listen to that.

They will literally let their child die. They will let their children die for not getting blood. Wow. That's what you call. call, that's what you call sheep. Who the fly is so dumb to let someone die because they're listening to somebody else and not using their own judgment? I can't.

Well, I tell you, we were both basically born into it. Of course. So it's like when you don't know anything else, you think it's real, you think it's the truth. There was a former member of the hierarchy who wrote a book. He left and he wrote a book called Crisis of Conscience. Wow. And within that book, he had a lot of the letters that were written by the hierarchy to the different congregations and religious people that do all of the monitoring of your life. And there were letters in there that said anal sex is prohibited.

I think that's the same in a lot of religions. If you really go by the Bible, right? I mean, listen, this is what I want to just say off the bat only because, you know, at the end of the day, like you said, oh, we were born into it. At the end of the day, I totally respect someone's decision to believe in whatever they do. I respect all religions, you know, most of them have very good aspects to it. Most of them also have the most ridiculous ideologies that they put on their people. You know what I mean? And I feel like you are allowed to take what you can and nod.

But, you know, I think every religion has the crazy roles. Like in my religion, they think gay people go to hell. It's like the dumbest, it doesn't even make sense. It's so stupid. But, you know, it's, and I think anal sex is the same thing because it might be in the Bible. So, but the thing is, you know, when it comes to, well, we debunked at all. And to be honest with you, my wife and I both are atheists at this point. We have no belief in any deities or any religion or any God.

And the thing that for us, that really is, well, when you reflect and you look back, it's like we wasted all those years. I'm going to be, I'm in my late 50s and she's in her early 50s. And it's like, oh, my God, we could have been having fun. We could have been doing things. Instead, we were following the rules of this crazy religion and not living our lives. So now we're trying to make up for it. You're like, I could have been fucking my wife in the ass and she's like what we were listening to the scripture.

Yep, exactly. And it's, we don't buy into anything political. religious, whatever. We're skeptical and we're, what's the agenda here? You know what I mean? But I think that's from our background and where we came from. Of course. A lot of times you're going to go, listen, you're like on one end of the spectrum and now you're totally at the other. And maybe 20 years from now, you might be someplace in the middle. Like, what else were you not allowed to do? Well, there were restrictions on so many different things. You couldn't even have, which they just recently changed. You couldn't even have.

have a beard, a woman couldn't wear pants to church. Little things like that. You had to, it was, you were so controlled by how you lived, what you did. And people would turn you in. If they saw something, you're out on the street, you're with somebody that's not your spouse. And you're in a store somewhere. Well, they'll go and they'll tell the elders and say, hey, I saw so and so. And they were with somebody the opposite sex. and then they'll call you in and say, well, what were you doing with them? they're like, this is like crazy stuff that we're buying into. And the other one still believes. You're lucky that you and your wife wound up on the same page at that time, don't you think? Yep, definitely. And I know people currently that have one spouse in and they're not in anymore. Yeah. And I know people that have separated because of it. Of course.

So it's, yeah, it's a really, it tears families apart. It really does. And now your sex life throughout that time was okay. You did start out this conversation like, oh, there was a time where me and her weren't even in the same bedroom because or something was going down. Yep, yep. No, no, it really was not good at all prior to us leaving. It was a lot of shit in your head.

It's like you have this perception that sex is for procreation and that kind of thing. Oh, my God. And you guys only had one kid, so that means you just fucked once? Yeah. Well, there were times when maybe a couple of times in a year. Wow. Really? Yeah.

Yeah. Yep. It was that bad. And as a guy, there was a lot of times I was beating off in the shower. Yeah, I could imagine. What about porn? Is that allowed or like totally not? I would assume it's not allowed. It's not allowed. They don't approve of it. But I engaged in that also. It's like you got to find a way to release. But did you feel like awful about yourself because you're like, oh my God, I'm going against the church. Now you have all this fucking shame on top of it and you're sexually frustrated. That's like a mind fuck. Yep, it is. And it makes you feel like you're a dirty sinner.

Yeah, yeah, you feel like a bad person and you're just not. You could have been fucking your wife. You wanted to fuck your wife. Like, probably if you were begging your wife more, not just to procreate, you wouldn't have even needed to go for porn. But what do you think a guy's going to do? Come on. Exactly.

It's crazy. Exactly. And I feel as though because sex has such an, that intensity, that feeling, a lot of religion tries to control that and manipulate that. Yeah, it's weird, right? Stay out of the bedroom. I mean, look it in some of these states, you know, in the South. It's like oral sex is still on the books as illegal.

I know. Is that crazy? Same with anal. I think we keep bringing up anal. I think anal sex is illegal in places too. It is. Oh my God. It's so ridiculous.

It's kind of stupid. So what does that tell you? Yeah. Yeah. Control. Yeah. It's a lot of it is control, you know, for real. Because listen, you know, no guy.

Guys are the ones that are heading up all these things. maybe 100 years from now, women will be running these things. But these are all started by men back in the day when men created everything. No man would create a rule that a man can't fuck his wife whenever he wanted to because every man knows how horny men are. Those guys that made the rules are not fucking their wives whenever they want. They're just not wanting you to do it. Do you know what I'm saying?

No guy would create that rule and live by it. I listened to one of your anonymous confessions. It was like a 40-second one or 46-second one about a pastor who was wearing cross-dressing clones. Oh, my God. Did you see the comments? They went nuts on that one. So I was always in that mind. I told my wife, I'm like, you know, these people, they tell you one thing, but I know they're doing something different.

Yeah. In the proxy of their own bedrooms. Of course. That's what I mean. No man would write those rules for another man. Like maybe a woman. if she would be like, oh, yeah, let's make men not fuck anybody else. I mean, because they want men to be monogamous.

But every guy knows how guys are. You got to get the poison out. You know what I mean? That's sperm. You're creating sperm every day. It is building up in your balls. Okay, you've got to get that shit out. Okay.

No guy's going without sex or porn for a whole year or only when they have babies. Four times in their life. Oh, my God, it's crazy. Right. So why would they, what would that, how does that, it doesn't even make sense. It's not healthy. At all, right? I think that there's been studies that if you don't have a lot of sex, you get prostate cancer more. Isn't there some studies like that? Yeah. Definitely. Definitely.

It's not healthy. Yeah. And like I said, it's just a way to manipulate and control people. Yeah, we were to make you miserable. So you're having terrible sex with your wife. So eventually when you decide to fade out, is that when you guys decide to start putting like stuff on the table? And when did your need for the penile implant come along? Was this before you got out or after? So quite honestly, probably within the last couple of years, and like I said, we've been out for about seven. Okay. But within the last couple of years, we both started therapy.

Uh-huh. And we started learning about narcissistic traits and coercive control. And I know people like to throw that word around, but believe me, the organization we came from, was very narcissistic. It was all about them and their needs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But, you know, about two years ago, my wife and I sat down, and we had an open communication discussion about what we want in life.

And I told her about all the fantasies, all the things that turned me on. And like I said, we've been married for over 30 years, and I never expressed these feelings to her before. And she looked at me and we both said we accept one another for who we are. And I'll tell you, in the last two years have been better than the inception of our marriage, the whole time we've been together. Wow, that's powerful. Yeah, yeah.

We have such an openness and more of a connection than we've ever had. Just from communicating that kind of stuff. And being able to say what you've. feel and not feel as though you're being judged. For sure. And being accepted by your partner. Exactly. For exactly who you are, for all of who you are.

There's nothing being hidden. There's nothing secret anymore. Right. Yeah. What were some of those things you told her? Oh, my goodness. I told her how much I, I just, I love women. And I also, I also told her, I said, before I die, I want to suck a dick.

thinking that way. So it's one of those situations where we're talking or like in the talking phase. Did she put anything about what she was into on the table? Did she bring up anything that she was into? And that's, it's interesting because we're still, we're still talking about that. And we even discuss that today because trying to find your identity, who you are is very difficult when you come out of that kind of a life. And she's still trying to figure things out. Yeah, well, you can't figure it out. You're not, listen, you guys are how long out of the cult six years?

That's not really that long of a time because I think, you know, it's like you're a six-year-old. Because like when I quit drinking, I always felt like when I quit, I went back emotionally to the age that I picked up, right? So it's like all that time I was like fucking checked out. So if all that time you were in that religion, you were like, sort of, of handed who you were and what you believe. So, you know, you're only six years into knowing who you are. The rest of the people that, you know, are like, you would, should be 50 years into it, but you're only six years into it. And it takes time. That's what 20s are about, 30s are about,

but you didn't have that luxury of figuring those things out in that time. So, you know, it makes sense that she's still trying to figure out. Even though six years sounds like a lot, it's not. It takes time for everyone to know who they really are. Definitely. And my wife, My wife, I'm the only man she's ever been with. Yeah. She was a virgin when I married her. Yeah. So, and that's another thing, too.

It's when you have a perception that this is the only life you have, there is no afterlife. So I say to myself, I would like her to experience something else. Right. We've only got a short period of time here on this planet. So let's see what we can figure out. Let's see what we can derive from it. If we like it, if we don't like it. No, it wasn't that. I didn't talk to a therapist about it. I had gone in. I got my heart checked and all that. I found a little bit of blockage in one of my arteries, but nothing drastic or anything to worry about. Right, right. And I had some low back issues, too. I needed discs in my low back and my sciatic area.

What do you call it? Yeah, the lumbar spot. So I think a lot of that was a contributing fact. I think it more physical than mental. Uh-huh. But when I went to the urologist the last time, he's like, you know, I think the best way to go with this is just to go with an implant. Wow. And because it was going on and it wasn't changing.

It lasted for years. Correct. I could put on a, I could put a ring, a cock ring on. Uh-huh. And if I was, if I'm standing up, I could get maybe 40, 45% if I was lucky. and I could penetrate, but it just wasn't hard. Yeah, interesting. Crazy, right?

That must be so frustrating for you. And the thing is, too, it's like when you lay on your back, I was talking to the urologist. He's like, yeah, if you have any kind of an erection and you lay on your back, all that blood goes back into your body and it leaves the penis. So it could never be a situation where she could be on top, which is a really good way to have a climax for her. Oh, that's so interesting because it's all blood flow.

and you're having an issue with the fucking blood flow. So the last thing you wanted to, there's no way your blood's going to go up. You cannot, like somebody with, you could maybe get partial erection when you were standing up, but laying down nothing. But laying down nothing.

That's so interesting. I would have never even known that, but it makes sense when you say it. Yeah. Yeah. So we did a lot of oral, a lot of sex toys, that kind of thing.

Could I ask you a quick question? Would that happen even when you were masturbating? like jerking off yourself like it happened always yeah i i could never get like a full erection yeah interesting and you went to besides your urologist you did go to the heart doctor like you went to a cardiologist checked your heart right because a lot of times they do say that it's connected to your cardiovascular health or it could be right yes yeah and i did have and i do have hypertension that i take medication for which is a other factor okay so you take all these things in consideration and hey your prime candidate exactly so there was it made sense

with all of the stuff that you had, that you were having this problem, and it wasn't going to go away because all those things are not going to get fixed. There's no magic pill, right? Obviously, and C. Alice and Viagra didn't even work. So your doctor said, do the penile implant. You must have known that this was an option for a while. Were you, like, finally, like, okay, I'll just do it. Were you apprehensive? Well, I wasn't really apprehensive. I wanted to have sex. Yeah. Yeah. So the biggest thing was the logistics, kidding. it all done, getting it all prepped, with any kind of surgery, getting to that point. But the after effect was, the recovery was difficult. I'm not going to lie. It was not easy.

Well, walk me through that. So how long is the surgery to begin with? How long is surgery is it? I had it back in October of last year. And it was about two hours long. And what they do is they put two tubes in your penis where the blood's supposed to flow. They make an incision at the top. And they pull it open and then they put the two tubes in there. And then in your nutsack, they put a pump with a release valve. And then up in your abdomen is a, like a balloon with like a saline solution. So when you want to have sex, you just go down.

in your balls and you pump it up and it pumps right up and you do your thing. Listen, people that like denounce medical stuff, I don't know, are just like, I don't know, it's like amazing what they could do nowadays. That's amazing. It is. It really is. That's like amazing. And the thing is after you come, you still got an erection. So you got to flick it off?

Like you got to go down onto your balls and turn off? You got to go. You got to deflate it. Wow. Wow. What does it feel like? Is it like a little lever? What are you pushing on? It's actually like a ball. Okay. And you push the ball. And the ball releases the saline that's up in your abdomen. And it goes right into those two tubes that are in your penis that give you the erection.

And then when you turn it off, that saline goes back up. So that's the saline that you're using all the time. Like you never have to fill up that thing with more saline, right? unless you have some kind of a rupture somewhere and then you got to go back in and have it but yeah there's a there's a little valve at the top yeah of the ball that you pump it up and that ball releases the saline back into the balloon interesting yeah yeah that's why i tell you though it was painful though initially oh my god i can imagine because they cut you said they cut the tip of your dick like that's where they go in no right at the right at the base oh okay that's where your pelvis is right at the top they cut it there so there's an incision there but they keep it they keep it

like about 30 to 40 percent erect for four or five weeks so you're walking around with this boner no way did they tell you ahead of time they told yeah but but it's painful too and it's because you've had surgery down there yeah and then you're trying to pee oh god oh man it it was not fun. But at this point, at this juncture, it just functions fine. Yeah, that's amazing. Works like a charm. Yeah, so you come out of surgery and it's like painful and it was like a hard recovery. How long did you, like, how long were you like in bed for a week or were you out and about just with the heart on and in pain? Well, I'm the type of guy where I don't lay around too much. I'm pretty active. So, yeah, probably about three or four days. But the pain was still there as

kind of function and do things and go to work and that kind of thing. Wow. But, yeah, yeah. Does insurance cover that? They denied it, and my urologist was really good, and he's like, why would you deny this? This is not, this is something that he needs. And he got it approved through my insurance. Yeah, that's great.

Yeah, but it's about a $20,000 surgery out of pocket. If you had to pay out of pocket. If you had to pay out of pocket. You're under general anesthesia. You're out for two hours. Yes. Yeah. Yep.

But they say it lasts a good 15, 18 years. Oh, really? And then what do they do? They have to just go in and change the saline thing or the whole contraption. Sometimes it's just like the tubing that connects, kind of wears out, that kind of thing. At least that's what I've read and what the doctor told me. Yeah. But other than that, I have no issues with it whatsoever.

It works like a charm. And there's no issues when you try to come. Yeah. Everything is fine. It doesn't interfere with that. It has nothing to do with that, right? This is all just to get it hard. The coming mechanism is a totally different, separate thing.

You never had an issue with that. Exactly. Even when I had the ED. Right, of course. I'd never had an issue with that. But like I told my wife, I said, this would be a great icebreaker in a swingers kind of thing. Hey, check out my robo did. Can you push that little?

The only one thing I can say is I lost probably about a half an inch. Really? How about? Well, I think, according to what the doctor told me, all those years of not.

expanding. Huh? Yeah. Kind of like shrinks, shrinks it. Oh, really? Yeah. At least that's what he told me.

Uh, that's interesting. Yeah. So it's gotten better over the last four or five months. You mean bigger? Yes. That's interesting. So it can grow.

That's what I was going to ask. I mean, they must give you all these kinds of warnings ahead of time like this could happen or this can happen. Did they say, hey, you might lose a little bit, but it might come back later. These are all the things that were discussed ahead of time.

What else did they say could or could not happen? There weren't a lot of negative aspects to the surgery at all. It was basically more of the time needed to heal before you could use it. The first couple of times my wife and I had sex together, it was a little painful. Really? For you? Yeah. That's completely gone away completely.

And does it feel? Because listen, you got saline pumping. You got this thing in there. As a guy who had hard-ons regularly and now has an artificial. Well, not an artificial, but you know, you're having a little help with this contraption. Is it, do you feel a difference or is it completely like any other hard on? You don't even feel the difference except for the fact that you got to turn it on and off. It feels like a regular hard on.

The only thing is that the tubing goes right up to the head. Yeah. So it doesn't go into the head. I still feel like I get blood flow in my in my dick because a lot of times the head will be a little soft or spongy. Yeah. But when I'm when I'm horny, it seems like it engorge. So I think I'm still getting some blood flow up there even after I've pumped it up. Yeah, that makes sense. Maybe that little blood that, listen, you were sometimes getting 40%. So maybe now all of that is going into where it needs to go. Yes. The only place where you don't have it.

Yep. And this works sitting down, laying down, right? Any which way? Doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Yep. Yeah, my wife and I started having sex again where she's on top, which is really a nice position that we enjoy.

Wow. Amazing. But the doctor told me, he said, you know, before the surgery, says, you know, you're going to be a shower, not a grower after the surgery. And that is kind of nice because it's like, it is. It looks bigger, flaccid. That's interesting. Yeah, yeah. Because you have those tubes in there that probably, they're probably big enough that they have to like, you're always going to be as big as those tubes because they're not engorged. Even when they're not engorged, they're in there pushing it out, right?

Correct, exactly. Yeah, that makes it. You know how some guys they, unless they're getting aroused, their deck look small. Yeah. And then it starts to grow. Well, it's the other way around when you had a Pean Island plant, which is kind of nice. Yeah, that's amazing.
