And I always kind of innerly maybe bothered me that it didn't make him jealous. I guess maybe it more turned him on. Yeah.

Not realizing later on how this would affect other things in our life. Mm-hmm. Then we got married at 25. Right after we got married, we actually started going to lifestyle clubs in the area that we live in. Yes. Okay. But we never swapped. We kind of just went there to maybe be voyeurs and exhibitionist because that was a turn-on.

The whole thing of getting off knowing you're turning other people on or watching other people be turned on. But then the next morning you'd wake up and you'd be like, oh, my goodness, we spent so much money between the drinks being overpriced, tipping the girls, having a good time and you'd get home and we were shocked at how much money we spent. So way back in the 90s, I don't know if you remember the AOL couple's chat rooms. So we started going on there as a couple and we'd go in these AOL couple chat rooms. and you would talk to people and you would talk about sexual things or whatever. No, mind you, we've still only been with each other. We've never had sex with other people.

But that whole maybe voyeurism and exhibitionist thing was hot. He would kind of talk 30 with people, but then we would shut the AOL couple of them down and we'd go in and have hot sex together. I didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. So we went in and we met the owner and he was all excited and he gave us a tour and he pointed out, Kathy, funny thing, pointed out all these people and he said,

those people there, they're really hardcore. Don't talk to them. This couple, they've been coming for years. Don't talk to them. So lifestyle people are very friendly. And they want to like, everybody wanted to introduce. They were like really friendly, which I thought, oh, they're all so nice. And we actually made a lot of really nice friends.

We've never had sex with any of those people. Right. But we made, like, some of them, we are still friends with them. We used to end up going to the new beach with them. We could barbecues with them. They were all around when I was pregnant with our first child and just, funny story. And one of the couples, they were in like their late 40s,

we were in our 20s. And we were like, wow, I hope we're still having sex when we're in our 40s because that was like our parents age. Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. You think they're like so old. That's what I'm saying. Like, when you're in your 20s, I can't believe like back in the day that you guys like wound up at a

swingers club. Not a lot of people would do that back then. No, no. That's what we always thought that we were so sexual. You kind of were. I know. I always see. pervy, right? But we never did anything with other people.

Like when we went into the soft flop, it was like we would have sex with each other as another couple had sex with themselves. And we with the type of business were in got busier with work kids doing online schooling um it was exhausting and i went to my regular doctor and then my was my normal checkout not for any specific reason and i told her i'm just so tired i don't even really have a big sex drive anymore i don't know what's going on with me i'm just exhausted i gained a little bit of weight during covid as everybody did she kind of explained it to me like oh you've turned 50 that's life and then she said let's wait and another year, we'll do a hormone pill on you to see if anything's going on. We'll see if it changes. Yeah.

And then a couple months after my regular checkup ran into a friend. She looked amazing. She's actually always been very thin. And she now had a little bit of a figure still very thin, but she looked great. And we ran into it and I said, oh, my God, you look amazing. She said, I feel amazing. And I go, what are you doing different? And she said, I went and I did the pellet. I said, do I have no idea what the pellet is? What is that? And that's when she started saying about the HRT pellets. And she goes, I sleep better. I was finally able to put a little bit a muscle on. She's a few years older knee, so she's 55. And said, I have no idea what the pellet is. What is that? And that's when she started saying about the HRT pellets. And she goes,

I sleep better. I was finally able to put a little bit of muscle on. She's a few years older than me, so she's 55, and she just told me how amazing she felt. So when we left that night, driving home, Scott was like, you should look into that. You were saying how you've just been exhausted. Him obviously knowing our sex life went from being very sexual through our 20s, 30s, and now all of a sudden it's diminishing to once every couple weeks. Yeah. But I didn't know that HRT was going to change me sexually.

And with my kids, and we're walking around Disney World, and you know, you have a little bit of Disney World. on and you're sitting on these rides. And I go to him, I have a problem. He's like, what do you mean you have a problem? Like, I am so flippin horny that these rides are almost making the orgasm.

It was out of nowhere, Kathy. It hit out of nowhere. I'm like, I am so horny. He's like, we can't do anything. Their kids are with us. I'm like, you can't come in the bathroom with me at their cell. He's like, oh, my kids are teenagers. They will know.

I'm like, it's a big hotel. We're a big suite. I'm like, if we can hide from them. Yeah. No, we can't hide from it. It was, it was so, I've never been so horny where I felt like, it was felt like you ever had to sneeze and you lose your sneeze? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know we got, we got to talk about. That's how it felt.

Yeah. Yeah. So I got through, we got home, obviously, had a lot of sex. And then it was like, it came out of nowhere. I had so much energy and we were having so much sex. Like, we would have sex at night. and we'd wake up in the morning and I'd have to masturbate before I went to work. It was awful.

It was like the more orgasms I had, I wanted to have more. So then my friend reached out to me a month into it. So now it's only been a week since this has really taken effect. And she goes like by text message. And she said, how are you feeling? I said, oh, my God, I feel amazing. I have so much energy. It's crazy.

She's like, oh, that's great. I'm glad it's working for you. I said, yeah, thank you for giving me your doctor's information. but you never gave me the information on the other side effect. She immediately sends me the devil emoji. She never told me about that part. It's amazing. I'm like, yeah, but you didn't give me any warning.

Like, when we looked into the pellet and the HRT, when you Google it, you get generic medical information. We wanted to look at side effects, long-term effects, blood work information. We're looking at how this is going to affect us. It did say you would have an increased libido. It didn't say that it was going to come me into a nymph. Right. It got to a point now that I felt we would sour before we would go to bed. And I'd get into bed and I'd be like, are you sleeping?

I think he was pretending to be asleep because he couldn't have any more sex with me. He went on them too, though. That's a good point to make, though, right? He did the pellets as well. Yes. Yes, he did. So then my doctor reached out to me about six weeks into the pellet to find out how I was feeling. I said to her, listen, I'm like, the problem is my sex drive is so huge.

I think now, instead of me pretending on his sleep at night, my husband is pretending he's asleep at night. Like, I'm wearing him out. And she goes, well, then I need to get him in here too. We need to run his numbers to see where he's at. So then, so I get that after about two months of me being on the pellet, he immediately went in. She did his lab work. He was normal for a 50-year-old man, but she said the same thing Why can't we bring him up to where he was when he was maybe 25 to 30? That's an optimal number.

Why can't we all feel like we were in our 20s again? So he got his pellet and it took a little bit to take a fest. Again, I think our results from the HRT pellet was for us because those are our personalities because we are definitely always been a very sexual couple together. No, listen, you guys were, it's just,

I think what it's doing is just, turning back the time and bringing you back to whoever you were when you were in your 20s. In your 20s, you were this horny too. It's not like it created something that wasn't there, right?
