Hello, world. Welcome back to Golf Subpar with Colt Nost and Drew Stoltz. Before we get going, some very exciting news, Sleys. Next week, September 12th, Subpar is moving to its very own brand new YouTube. Starting today, you can subscribe at Golf underscore Subpar on YouTube. Make sure you're subscribed and set alerts to the new channel because this is where all the new episodes will be from now on. And we'll start taking you outside of the podcast studio with us, too. See you there. I can't wait for this thing to get going, Sleas.
Well done. Behind the scenes. It's what everyone wants.
A lot of heat.
And a very, a lot of heat.
Very special guest to debut on our YouTube channel.
You're not going to want to miss this.
We're not going to tell you it is now, but we'll be dropping that very soon.
Large Marge, suffice it to say.
All right. Some other large news in the golf world.
Captain Luke Donald has made his captain's selections for the European Rider Cup team.
He went with Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood, Seppstraka, Nikolai Hoygard, Justin Rose.
and the young phenom Ludwig Eberg.
Yeah.
It felt like that one was the more and more it went on,
especially with Luke Donald,
you know, basically wanting to play with him up in Michigan
and then what he saw from him.
I felt like he was going to be on the team anyways,
but then you go ahead and throw that win over there last week
on the DEP World Tour.
That thing pretty much locked it.
Very excited to see him.
That's a huge ad for them,
a guy that eight months ago nobody was talking about being on the teams,
like, hey, who rounds up.
Because he was in college.
Who round?
Yeah, he was taking biology.
who rounds out the bottom of this European team.
Their bottom looks way better than I think it has at any point leading up to this thing.
I think the only, I mean, in my opinion, Lowry was a guy, throw his form out,
kind of just felt like he was going to be on that team.
Rory would be a big advocate for him kind of the same way.
Scotty Schaeffler was probably a huge advocate for Sam Burns on our side.
But I think the Nikolai Hoygard, Adrian Moronk,
were the final two that it came down to on that one.
And it's, I don't know.
I mean, if I'm Marank, I'd probably be a little pissed off about this,
given I got a win and a runner up at this golf course, third in the race to Dubai,
fifth on the points. I mean, is that kind of the only one that you thought was up in the air,
I guess? Yeah, for sure, in my opinion. I mean, you know, I don't follow the DP World Tour
crazy close, but I knew he was in the mix. I knew he won the Italian Open at this golf course last
year and finished runner up the year before. To be third in the race to Dubai, I know he played
a couple of, he got a couple of invites to play over on the PGA tour, which hurt him on that
European's point list. You look at Bob McIntyre, who made it, who stayed.
committed to playing over there.
I don't know.
That's tough one.
I mean, if I'm a captain and I've got a guy that's finished first and second on the
golf course, you're going to play, and he's won three times last 16 months, obviously
in good form, which people are going to say, oh, you didn't care about Joseph Thomas's
form.
That's a totally different animal, in my opinion.
That's the lottery pick.
I would have took him.
Nicola Hoygard's a guy.
I probably would have left off that list.
In my opinion, you know, Tommy Fleetwood, Stepsdrake has been playing great.
Ludwig Aberg, I've been all about for quite a while.
You know, I had a nice futures bet with a good friend of ours.
Easy money.
In June, five-one odds.
Thank you for that little cash money from our good friend.
But, yeah, the other, it's tough.
You know, there's only so many jerseys, as we always say.
But I definitely could have seen Adrian Moran being put on the team before Nick Lai Hoygard.
I think it comes down to like, A, Europe's already going to have a lot of rookies on this team, right?
So you're debating between two, for your last spot, it's going to be a rookie.
it's like, dude,
Hory Guard's 22.
Like, in theory, this is a guy
going to be on your next handful
of European Rider Cup teams.
Like, if we think this is the future,
one of the faces of the future of European golf,
let's get him in right now,
if it comes down to like splitting hairs.
Now, where are they splitting hairs?
I don't know.
You can make arguments for both,
but that's kind of my take on that deal
is like, look, let's get this kid going.
He's 22, get him some exposure,
especially on home soil,
it'll be a little easier
than if he's on the next team over New York at Beth Page.
That's my biggest deal.
That's 100%.
Let's get them in the game.
Yeah, I'm like, listen, if you want to make your debut as a young fellow and your question,
you're close to taking them, you damn sure want them to play at home before going over to
a hostile New York, Bethpage, Black crowd, because they're brutal.
I mean, they're brutal during the FedEx Cup playoffs when they play there.
They're brutal to Americans.
Yes.
We saw it they did to Sergio during the U.S. Open, Colin Montgomery said history there.
That's going to be a very tough place to play.
I think that going over there could really, you know, do some.
some damage to a young rookie.
Yeah, that's just making your debut, New York, not the easiest join in the world.
They're really high on these Horyguards over there.
It's like, let's get one in here.
If it's coming down to the last pick, let's take the guy we think it's going to be one of
the faces of the future of European golf.
And Ludwig is going to be that guy for sure, but that's a, I felt like that was an easy
pick.
I wouldn't be surprised if he goes every session over there.
The way he drives the golf ball, he's the best driver of the golf ball in the world
since he turned pro.
He's one, I think Rory's two and ROMs three.
like decent yeah they got the three best drive we always talk about driving's our advantage they got the
three best in the world right now going to this place but to leave a guy at home that's one and runner up there
horses for courses type of stuff like we talk with zach i'd be i think of both teams that's the most
who should be the most pissed off probably him i totally agree with you i mean kegan bradler was talked
about a lot but this guy has played unbelievable all year and to have the history on that golf course
shocking he's going to be left off but look it's it's it's it's you're not you're
It's crazy how this thing has changed.
Start of the year, USA was over minus 300 favorite.
Now it's down to minus 115.
I mean, this thing's basically a coin flip.
USA is a slight favorite.
I mean, I haven't won in 30 years over there,
but this thing just got very interesting.
Yeah, it's to go to move that much.
I mean, eight months ago, looking at the bottom,
like, after their top six,
we knew they had a good top six,
but after that, where are they going to go?
You know, a couple names,
pretty good chances of it.
But now looking at it,
some of these guys are playing really good.
Step Straka is a name that's on there
that's playing really good golf.
I mean, this thing's going to be a, this ain't going to be a whistling straight boat race situation.
I think this thing is going to be snug.
I cannot wait to get over there.
I cannot either.
We're going to be there.
Here's hoping.
Team Europe finishes runner up, but I promise you one thing.
They're going to be second best dressed at this competition because Team USA is going to be rocking the RLX by Polo.
What else would we wear over there?

USA. USA. It's coming. The chance. I'm ready for the chance. They come up with some good shit over there in
Europe. That first T is going to be rocking. Dude, we loved whistling. We loved it, right? I was like
goosebumps, borderline tearing up for all that type of stuff.
And every single person, Americans included, like, do you think this is cool?
And it is cool.
Wait, you see one over there.
Yeah.
I'm gassed up.
It's coming.
Like Dionne said, I know.
I teed you up for it.
I gave you the X comments because I know you're going to bring it up.
No, we'll get to it after the interview.
But right now.
It's a golf show, dude.
This is a golf show.
Listen, you've got two beautiful daughters.
Thank you.
At home.
Gorgeous.
I think you might have just found your long lost son during our interview this week.
this kid right here
if you don't know him you're going to
you got to go look him up the
DOD King Carter Smith
this kid's got swag
the most ridiculous amount of confidence
I've ever seen and I sit next to you every day
respect respect to the young man
you might want to do a DNA test
spent a little 23 in me for the kid
I don't know that I want to know the results I did spend a little
time on the South Eastern Jix
back in my day around I don't know
how it is but maybe a little before
it's possible you never know you know
24
39?
In the mix.
Possibly.
Who knows?
But God, this kid's a but it's a beaut.
It's fun to sit down there.
All right.
Let's get to it.
Here's the DOD King Carter Smith on subpar.
All right, folks.
It is not often.
We get royalty on the show.
But we got it here today.
You've seen him on Instagram,
banging driver off the deck,
doing God's work against the keyboard warriors.
He is Norfolk, Virginia's finest.
I am proud to announce also,
I've been told,
officially 470 days
T-free as of today
the DOD King
Carter Smith is here
what up Carter
What's up man
How y'all doing?
Good to be with you
So much for joining us
First off
We were talking a little bit yesterday
I got to go over the middle name
Exactly how do you pronounce the middle name
It's Vin-Kir
V-N-K-I-E-R
Yep that's it
CBS baby
And before we get going
Is it's important to know
Do you prefer to be called Carter
or do you like to refer to as the king?
Just for the sake of this podcast.
You can call me Carter for the sake of this podcast.
I usually just let the women of the East Coast call me king.
Okay, fair enough.
I might call you king, though.
I kind of just like, I just like it feels right.
I might call you king.
That's funny.
Let's go back, way back.
You're only 24 years old, but let's just talk about you growing up a little bit.
Was golf always the plan?
Yeah, man, from day one.
I was never really good, to be fair, but I played all throughout high school.
school. Born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, played at Moray High School. We had like
2,500 kids and we had like three or four people on the golf team. So it's not a very
popular sport like in the area, if that makes sense. But man, when I was leaving high school,
I probably emailed over 250 college coaches and I heard back from maybe 20 of them and I got
zero offers at all. I was like five foot four hundred pounds, could not hit a golf ball
like properly. The DOD was my 200-yard club.
So I just grew up hitting that shot.
And so I took a gap year and just worked out, ate a lot of food.
I love food, man.
It's like my favorite thing besides golf.
And ended up winning a couple of junior events, got a couple college offers,
played one year at Palm Beach Atlantic University down in Southern Florida,
which was awesome.
It was such a cool spot down there.
It was like 82% women.
Oh, dude, it was the best.
It was 82% women golf year round.
Like, it's a beautiful thing.
And you eat 2% of it.
Yeah, well, coming from Virginia, it's just, yeah, that's a great ratio.
And like, being 5 foot 7, you know, you got to have the numbers for, you know, success rate.
And so I played one year there, enjoyed it all, met some great people.
And then I dropped out of school.
I lost my scholarship that year.
And so the next couple years, I was just working a couple jobs, saving up money.
I just wanted to play pro golf.
That's what I've been doing for a while now.
The one year thing, was that more of a golf thing or was that more of a I don't like school thing or both?
A little bit of both.
I mean, my grades were fine, but my golf performance wasn't great.
And so I lost my scholarship and it was very expensive to continue.
And so I figured, you know, if I wanted to chase pro golf, which is all I really wanted to do,
why I put myself in more student debt and stuff like that when I could just stack up bread and do it myself.
Yeah, and obviously, you know, chasing the mini tours is not cheap either.
So what kind of jobs were you doing to make money to pay for all the entry fees?
Yeah.
Right away, I was just working out of golf course, caddying a lot.
And then the last two years, I've been renovating bathrooms and kitchens, like doing tile work and doing TPI Fitness.
They did two jobs.
Yeah, I saw some of the videos you cut in tile and stuff.
You got to, like, you got to train for that?
Or did you just show, like, did you know how to do that before?
Do you just show up they teach you that stuff?
How did that become, like, the route?
Yeah, I just, I contacted a family friend.
I was like, hey, I'm looking for some sidework, just stack some bread.
And he was like, I have somebody.
It was like a one-man show.
Mark Kelly, Kelly Development 757.
Shout out.
And he just taught me from the first day.
He just put me on a towel.
He's like, yeah, don't cut your fingers off.
Start ripping.
And that's how you develop hand-eye coordination for the people at home.
Like, if you want the soft mitts around the green, that is how you get it done.
That's how you get the mitts, Cole.
If you can operate on a day-to-day and the risk is lose your fingers,
that's when you also become a meat.
to pressure. I love nothing matters, dude. I love the soft myths. Like, that's such a,
that's what our hockey guys say. Got my set of myths on them. Yeah, yeah. I have a lot of,
when I took my gap here, I went to a golf academy in Hilton Head. Um, and which one?
We had, uh, junior players golf academy. I hate to give them a free shout out. I do, you know,
I'm not going to speak on that, but yeah, the JPGA. Okay. I went to one there, um,
when I was like 16, um, the international junior golf academy. So I don't know if it's the same one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, I visited there.
I definitely, I liked the setup they had,
but then the JPJ was like on the island of Hilton Head.
So I was like, we're going to go check that out.
They had some good coaches and good courses.
Well, you're in good spots, South Florida up there as well.
These jobs you were doing to finance like the pro golf on the summertime.
With the way things are going now for you,
do you need these jobs in the winter anymore to subsidize the golf?
No, yeah.
I quit my job like two months.
ago.
Beautiful.
That's awesome.
It's straight now.
Instagram, social media.
That's awesome.
I want to know, like, how did this all start?
I read a story where you were playing, I think, the Virginia open of Virginia am and you
were struggling off the T, so you just threw it on the deck and started striping it.
Yeah.
I mean, it was something, like I was saying, like, I ripped DoD my whole life.
It was my 200 yard club.
I was a skinny little weasel cult.
Like, we were growing up.
Like, I couldn't hit the ball any far.
So it was my 200 yard club.
And playing the Vermont State Open almost two years ago.
and in the practice round, it was a tight, narrow mountain course in Fairly Vermont.
And the entire time I was playing with pros, I'm still an amateur to this day,
but I was playing with pros and I could not hit the fair way to save life.
I was hitting these spinny little drivers.
Like, I'm not kidding you, like 7,000 RPM spin.
Like, it was going backwards at the end.
And so the whole time in the first round, I was like, screw it.
I'm going off the deck.
I shot 67.
And everybody was like, what are you doing?
Like, that was crazy.
I can't believe you do that.
like, yo, I'm never using a tea again.
That's it.
I've been sober ever since.
Was that when you first started doing it?
Do you do the tea on the ground, you know, like the ground tea?
Like, hit the ground with the wed or dry?
Or is it just straight?
Just like you do it now where you just toss it down and go.
Toss it, man.
You got to put it on the table and find out if you said that's it.
Respect.
That's, tell me.
That's balls.
Tell me the setup with the driver because do you have more loft on it than normal?
Or is it just straight up nine degree and you send it?
Yeah.
So I got fit at the tailor-made kingdom,
with trotty, which was sick because I'd never been fit before.
But he put me, we tried out seven degrees, nine degrees,
and we tried out those mini-burner drivers.
But this is the same old stuff.
I early extend a little bit, which kind of helps me add a little bit of,
I don't know, spin at the end.
I don't really think about it too much, but I just hit fairways.
But so, yeah, seven degrees, nine degrees, whatever you want to give me, I'll rock it.
Good question to lead up into, like, for the haters, for the haters out there.
Like, you post your video and they're like, that's a 13 degree driver or that probably took you 15 takes.
How many takes did it take to do that?
Do any other, like, hate you want to clear up here while you have a little audience to tell people how you get it done?
You know, I just do my thing.
And if they want to hate, they can keep on just typing through those little keyboards and stuff like that.
That's why I'm starting the war against weasels where I just take on all the keyboard warriors and teas and weasels that try to call me out and stuff like that.
I'm tired of talking about it.
I'm tired of, you know, responding to them and giving them that exposure in cloud that they want.
I'm just going to take them square up on the face one on one and on the golf course.
Let's find out who's got it.
I love that.
The war against the weasels.
The W-A-W, baby.
Would you say, because, you know, I think, like, in my business being in the broadcasting world,
like, I think it's good to get some hate because people are paying attention.
Like, you want love, you want hate.
Would you say you get more love or more hate in the social media world?
man at the beginning it was 99% hate right away like it was crazy man it was it was honestly awesome because
I love that I've I'm fueled off a doubt and hate and all that stuff for me it's just like it's too
easy I love putting people on tilt that is my favorite thing in the world so when I get all these
grown men commenting how much they hate me and how I'm bad for the game this that and the other
and then you go to their bio and it's just like loving father of two kids in a Bible verse it's like
It's hilarious, man.
And I love it.
So right now, I would say it flipped right around when I hit like 100,000 followers on Instagram.
We started to get kind of more of like a solid following people who showed a lot of love.
But at the beginning, I was getting death threats.
I was getting every single comment.
If you go read those first videos, we're all hate.
It was crazy.
Death threats because you can hit a dog off the deck.
Dude, golf Twitter, golf, whatever, social media.
Like, it's kind of wild, actually.
Especially I feel like for anyone that's like, does not.
on the PGA tour and puts themselves out there like,
yo, look at me and I'm good at golf.
You know what I mean? Like they'll come from all,
I'll play you for whatever. I'm a plus seven,
you know, blah, blah, blah. There's a lot of that out there.
Oh, absolutely.
In the golf world.
Absolutely. And for me, it's just like,
if I'm looking at it from their perspective,
I completely understand because it's just some five foot seven kid
with a mullet, talking smack,
like acting like he's a man because I am.
But it's just they're insecure because they have to use T's.
And they're like, my girls looking at this guy online and they're like, why can't you do that?
It's like, I'm not the king.
So I got to go take some hate to this guy, I guess.
But at the end of the day, it's my favorite part about golf and sport is the competition and the mental side of things.
I've never been the most talented.
I've never had the most like all the skills, never hit it the farthest.
Definitely was not the smartest.
But I've always been able to develop kind of an art of visualization and kind of the mental strength to play.
in competitive sports when I didn't have my best.
And so that's my favorite part of the game.
And so when I can, I love match play, like putting people one-on-one.
I love getting in people's heads.
It's so easy to chirp him, just throw it on the ground and then smash it down the middle.
Then they got to bend over to go tee up a ball.
It's just like, buddy, you're done.
So I love every aspect of the mental side of the game.
And I think that's what's a lot of this is about.
I love it, man.
The confidence is fantastic.
Take us through just a normal day for the DOD King.
Like are we working out?
We train in.
Do you have a game every day?
Do you just roll up on strangers and start filming content?
How does it work?
Yeah, man.
Every day is different, but I like to have like a solid foundation of just things I need to get done that day.
Before all this social media stuff, a typical day would be, you know, wake up early.
I'd usually have TPI clients from like five to eight, go to the bathroom,
to redo the bathroom from nine to five, come back and I'd have some TPA.
TPI clients at the gym and then work out, hit balls at the gym and then bounce.
And then on the weekends, just go hustle people for money on the golf course.
I love money matches.
I've played for my bank account a ridiculous amount of times and probably lost it like
more than half of the time.
I just, there's something about that competition and just putting everything out there.
Like, I crave it.
And now, nowadays, I'm very blessed.
Like, I'm extremely blessed to be in this position where I just get to travel, play golf,
meet cool people, talk to people like you guys.
We're on the subpar podcast right now.
Like, this is a trip to me.
But nowadays, I'll probably usually wake up before 4.20 a.m. every day.
And I go on a run.
I'll go work out.
Eat a lot of food around like six.
I love food.
And then we'll, I'll go practice for a bit, kind of chat with manager Doug about
merchandising and business and stuff like that.
Then meet up with my producer, Winstonian.
Shoot some content and then try to find a match later in the day.
Make some money.
Yeah, that's a long day.
420.
420.
Yeah, 420 a.
I have every single day.
Every single day.
We're on slightly different schedules.
Give me this.
Go back to the war against the weasels because I love this concept you got here.
All right.
So some dudes chirping you online.
You set up a match.
Boom,
meet me here.
All right,
you play.
Everyone on Twitter is a great golfer.
But when they get there,
like everyone's ability is going to be different.
Are these handicapped?
Are you playing these dudes straight up?
Are there rules to it?
Like,
it has to be straight up?
How does all this work?
I don't play none of that handicapped BS.
Okay.
No strokes going to nothing.
Like if you had one and you go somewhere, do you carry a handicap?
Like, I haven't entered a handicap in like a year probably.
Whenever like the USAM stuff or qualifiers are coming up where like you need one updated,
I'll go put in scores for a week or something.
But I don't play any matches where I can give out strokes.
And I never want strokes.
I just rip it one-on-one.
Let's ride.
All right.
With all the shit talking that you do out there, has it ever almost or has it come to blows?
I've gotten in two fights before.
That's it.
On the golf course?
Parking lot on both accounts.
Nice.
Settle it off the course.
I like that.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Keep it class.
How'd you fare in those matches?
Dude, lost one.
Lost one bad.
I'm five foot seven, but I'm scrappy.
But this dude had me.
But the second one I won, which is good.
I went to the Navig Public School system.
So, you know, we learned how to get after it there.
And now I carry two or three drivers in my bag,
so I don't really have to get in fights anymore.
Okay.
Smart play.
But also for the people online that just see your videos, what's your average driving distance?
How far can you move it off the deck?
So typically right now I'm carrying it 301 off the deck with my one-dary?
Yep.
And there's so many people that are just like, that's not real, there's no way.
But I went to the Taylor Made Kingdom on the trackman in front of the guy and was consistently
carrying it 301, 302, 303.
That's pretty impressive.
You can see it online.
Like the golf swings clean.
It's very good.
301 off the deck is monster.
So when I'm hitting it good, it's a nice draw.
And my typical miss will be a spinny cut.
So when I start to miss it, now we're talking 275, 280.
So there's a significant difference.
However, those misses now for me are in the fairway.
So they might be short if it's into the wind.
It's going to get a little greasy with all that spin.
But it hits the fairway.
I'm a precision player from there.
I mean, drawing it off the deck is drawing it off the deck is pretty impressive.
I mean, that's just, we see so many guys.
We saw it recently at the at the BMW championship.
I know you commented on Scotty Sheffler.
There was a lot of guys on the par 515th hitting driver off the deck because you had to slide it around the trees there.
But what would you say for the people at home, the key to hitting the DOD?
Yeah, you got to have soft mitts.
And I would say you got to have delusional confidence as well in yourself.
Because a lot of people, they're just like, oh, there's no way I can do it.
or I'm going to break my driverhead or etc.
If you think like that, you're going to miss it.
You're going to break your driver head.
So for me, I've lived by delusional confidence my whole life.
I already know that I'm going to strike this ball.
So like there's, you know, there's some technical things with it.
I did a tutorial on my YouTube.
But the DOD is all mental.
Delusional confidence, have your hand-eye coordination, ball first, swing hard.
Yeah, the DOD, the king is a mindset.
Also, world-class talent helps, you know what I mean?
It does help.
It does not hurt to have world-class talent.
All right, so you're funding your summer golf with these jobs and stuff,
which you don't have to do now.
Shout out to you.
What do you've been playing in?
What's the schedule look like?
And are you still playing in tournaments, or is it more just like,
you know, I want to build the online presence more?
Right.
That's a great question.
And so this summer I played in the Vermont State Open,
did a couple of smaller events, local events,
but I probably played 50% of the schedule that I wanted.
wanted to play this summer because the iron was hot on social media, which I never
expected. I didn't want to do social media. I didn't expect any of this to happen.
So I was like, okay, I can strike on this now, build a YouTube from it, build a brand that
lasts and use that to, you know, have a career and fund my career from here. So I kind of took
a step back from the competitive side of things. We traveled a lot just to kind of grow the content.
And for me, that was more important at this time so that I could then long-term, change
face golf and kind of use my my content and stuff like that to just kind of be the side of
my journey to pro golf me, the first got to make it without using T's.
And so didn't really play a full schedule, played a couple events, didn't play great,
played a few that were good.
But it's mainly this winter.
We're going to head down to Florida.
And then I think we're coming to Arizona to y'all's backyard for a month or so.
So we're going to rip a bunch of mini tour events.
I'm still going to keep my amateur status throughout this winter.
but I'm going to play a lot more events and we're going to get it all on camera.
And so I can back up all the talk and I've done all the people want to see me do it and I'm ready for it.
I like it.
So you have a big match.
I believe it's already filmed against Martin Borgmeier, who's arguably the longest hitter of the golf ball on the planet.
When is that coming out?
That dude is a beast.
Oh, it's a joke.
He's a truck of a human.
I'll tell you what.
We had met prior to like a month or so ago.
I never met before he did like this POD video.
And I was like, yo, that's pretty sick.
Like, when people call me out, it's, I love it every time.
But that was the first one where I was like, I respect that dude.
And he mash.
Well, you wear some short shorts.
So Martin, if you're listening, maybe do something about that.
But when I stand next to that guy, I look like a kid.
Not that I already don't, but like, I look tiny.
And that dude hits it 140 yards past me sometimes.
So it was, we already filmed it.
I can't really go into details about it.
Um, we, when we film, we post my wins, losses, draws everything.
So the war against weasers is straight up.
Um, we post everything.
And it was a good match.
And I'm looking forward to getting that post.
I don't have a set date right now.
Um, but when, when we do, I'll let you guys know.
But it's coming on YouTube soon.
Yeah, that dude is a unit in the shorts.
Yeah.
He wears those like high school football coach shorts.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
They look like those.
Yeah.
Yeah.
His German hog is going to slip out.
at some point, I think.
It's hard to say anything when the dude's built like fucking grong.
That's the thing.
Like, I'm looking up at them.
And I'm just like, hey, buddy, like cute shorts, you can just pick me up and throw me.
Don't eat me.
Yeah, please.
With this war against, sorry, go ahead.
I was just going to say, with the war against weasels, you get a lot of guys like chirping
you online.
How do you pick who gets a shot?
Yeah.
It's all luck, really, a chance.
I mean, we, what I'm all new to the social media game.
So I'm learning it as I go.
I've had a good friend, Grant Horvatt,
kind of helped me mentor me in some steps that have been key.
But it's pretty much like I'm trying to get people that have some exposure already
or have a following per se,
so that it's the views and stuff that we do.
I have to make money doing it now.
But I also am just going to take random people.
Like I wanted some,
this guy from the 757 had been chirping to me since, like, February,
when I started Instagram,
when I had like 100 followers for a month.
And so I was like, all right, bud, well, now is your time.
We can get you on stage and expose you.
So I was like, if you want to put up your pink slips for your car, I'll play you.
And he was like, okay, let's do it.
And I was like, all right, we'll have a lawyer there that day.
We brought him, got everything, and it got rained out.
But he did show up, which I respect.
And he was ready to put up his car.
So we're going to hopefully do that soon.
I've been hitting him up and I've been left on red.
So we'll see.
Oh, bummer.
I think, by the way, this is our first guest that's ever been on the same confidence level with Sleeze.
I love everything about it.
I love everything about it, dude.
If you don't believe in yourself, rock.
That's it, man.
I've lived by what I call delusional confidence my entire life.
Like in high school, I did not have the scores to play college golf,
let alone even dream about professional golf.
But something in me was just like, no, you got it, bro.
And so I took my gap here.
I got a lot better to be fair.
And I worked my ass off and to be able to play college golf.
And I got the college golf, dude, I had like a 78 scoring out.
average my freshman year and I dropped out to chase pro golf like nobody nobody is going to shoot
78 in college and be like yeah that's that's good to do it never came close to win an event but
there's just something inside me I was like you're built for more just go do it full time and rip it
and I always knew something bigger was out there for me so it's just like believe in yourself even
when everything is telling you shouldn't yeah if you're going to bet on anyone bad on yourself
What's your parents, friends and things said when you come back from Florida, average in 78, and you're like, I'm done with that.
I'm just going to chase the golf for real.
They weren't when any of them like, uh, this feels.
Oh, so many, so many.
But I will say one thing, my parents never.
They had full, like a lot of people say, like, their parents didn't believe in their dream, et cetera, et cetera.
My parents had my back from the get go.
They wanted me to do it.
They believed in me.
They saw the work I was willing to put in for it.
But a lot of friends and, you know, other people, a lot of teammates of mine as well were like,
dude, you dumb as hell.
But I love that.
At what point did you know, like, okay, I got something here.
It's time to go all in.
Was there a certain number of followers or was a certain video?
For Instagram or like social media, all this.
Yeah.
Yeah, there wasn't really a set time.
I was probably back in January or December.
I think it was December.
The assistant pro at my golf course, Winston, who is now my producer.
He saw me playing in this match.
He was just out.
watching and I was talking mad smack to these people I was playing with and not using T's.
And he's like, dude, I got to get you on camera. You'd go viral for this. And I was like,
absolutely not. I don't want to do any social media. I'm not into that. I don't think it's great
for society in general. So I was like, I'm not going to do it. And he'd chat with me for like a
month trying to get me on camera. And he finally convinced me to just do one video. He posted on
his TikTok, which was like Winston Davis 144 or something. And it went completely viral. It was just
video of me just me saying fuck tease like we got off the deck or something teaser for cheaters
and it went viral and golf digest posted it and zyar golf posted and he's like dude like you should
do this and so we just started ripping it in the winter time like the cold of winter down here
we just recorded a bunch of videos started posting it on tic-tok and instagram and in february we had like
a hundred followers but we're like let's just try it out and see and then it was like boom we're
getting like three thousand followers a day and it was honestly like you were saying earlier
It was all that hate that was driving it because I didn't care at all about social media.
I didn't think it was going to be a thing.
So I would give it right back to these people.
I was chirping a little probably too hard back then.
I was kind of reckless with it.
But that engagement between everybody was like what drove it.
And then probably to answer your question, early April, we just started blowing up.
And a bunch of people started to tag me in the driver off the deck.
It became a trend.
And then I did a YouTube video with my buddy Grant.
And it got over 300,000 views on YouTube.
I was like, okay, let's do this full time.
And Winston quit his job as the assistant pro to film me full time.
My manager, Doug, quit his office job in Chicago to come back and manage me.
And we all just quit our jobs and sent it.
We weren't making anything at all at the time.
But we were just like, yo, it's like the entourage show.
Like, let's just figure it out.
If it doesn't, then we'll go back to what we're doing.
I was like, I can go back to Thailand bathrooms any day that I want to.
But I'm going to see, because if I can chase pro golf,
through this like let's rock and roll baby so i would say probably to answer a question like early april
when like youtube like did successful for one video i was like okay we might have something you
that's probably when i first saw it too because i had never you probably weren't doing it or they
hadn't blown up like that yet then all of a sudden me and my buddy of mine who will probably talk
about in a minute who also hits it off the deck virtually every single whole people would like send
these videos to us over and over and over so then i start clicking them i'm like this kid's beautiful
i love this kid you know and i'm showing my boy kitty i'm like yo look at this dude we got
meet and we got to get this thing set up.
Then all of a sudden it was like everywhere you went, you know, you started seeing it.
Go back to this dude that you were playing for the car.
Yeah.
Because I like that.
What's the most?
Is that the biggest wager you've had in one of these war against weasels?
Or what's the most you've played for?
I would say overall, yes.
It's more so if we want to talk about percentage of net worth, I have played probably over
50 matches where I've had essentially 100% of my net worth on the line. And I have lost it. I have
gone home with $0 in my checking, savings, cash, everything many times. And that sounds degenerate,
and I don't want to put that message out to the kids that are listening. But that's what's
given me confidence to overcome any amount of pressure because now when I'm just playing in some
amateur event for a little plastic trophy, I don't give a damn. Because I know what it's like
to be on that 18th hole with a five foot put
that you're either walking home with four Gs
or zero dollars and just be
jittery over and miss it.
And having that failure over and over
again has now allowed me today
to just not give a damn at all
and be ready to rock and roll and make that put.
So it's probably
the most financially
that or monetary that I've played for, but
percentage wise, yeah.
That's wild, man. I love it.
I mean, Lee Trevino used to always say, you know,
pressure's playing for $100 when you only got
five of your name.
Yeah, I took that probably too seriously sometimes.
Let's talk about Drew Kittleson because we do want to set up a match at some point.
That's our good buddy from right here in Scottsdale, him and Slees play the four ball every
year, back-to-back runner-up finishes.
He also has run up in the USAM to Danny Lee in 2008.
So the guy can play, but he likes to throw it on the deck as well.
He can smash it.
Have you seen any of his action?
What are your thoughts on a match against him?
Yeah, obviously respect, game recognized game.
Sleazy and Kittleson, like run
right back to back, that's dirty
at the end of the day. Like, I'm not, you know,
I'm not a keyboard worry. I respect game
where it is. Kittleson,
buddy, I hope you're listening. I see
the grass teas that you make.
You, like, hit the ground in and stuff like that.
He's like, can, you know, try doing it in a
USGA event, DoD King, buddy,
try doing it every damn day of your life
on every single hole, just tossing it on the table.
I don't do any grass tea nonsense.
I don't smack the ground. I throw the
ball on the table and wherever it goes,
if it's a divot, if it's grease, I don't care, I rip it, ball first every time.
So.
I love it.
This is 100%.
I'm so excited for this, dude.
Obviously, the dude has game.
So, like, I'm not here to bash that.
Oh, he can play, yeah.
He can play, obviously.
But I can too.
So, and I got soft mitts.
So I'm excited for it.
Kittleson, buddy.
We don't do none of that grass tea nonsense if you're doing that in front of me.
I'm going to chirp you every damn time, homie.
This is a beautiful thing.
He'll give it right back.
He'll embrace.
the shit talk. It's like otherwise why are you doing it? So we'll set this up for when you come out in
December or whatever in the winter. Colt and I will be like the Don Kings of this thing.
We're going to promote the shit out of this thing. We're going to get a big, big prize fight.
We'll be out there in each corner. We'll film all this stuff. But I was talking to Kitty last night
because I was like, yo, we got the king on tomorrow. We're putting a match together with you.
Are you cool with? And I was like, oh, yeah, dude, absolutely. It'd be great. And I said,
here's like so stakes i don't know what you want to do but this is what we came up with on the on his side
and i was like dude randomly he tiles bathrooms like he used to tile bathrooms and so kitty actually
owns his own like uh bathroom remodeling company and he's like oh dude put it up he's like if he's in
town and we do it here tell him if i lose uh i'll do it like you can name the stakes and if he loses
he's got to come work for me for a half day he's got a tile bathroom on one of my jobs and i said
I'll throw the offer out.
I love that.
I love that.
Which would be great.
Hell yeah.
But you got it.
You got to say what you want.
Let me think about that.
I don't want to, because the top of the head, like, I want it to be good.
I want it to be good.
So let me think about that.
I'll get back to you guys on it.
But I love that.
I'll honestly, I'll go tell with the guy afterwards anywhere and share beer with him after
a smash him into the ground.
Yeah.
I love the work, dude.
Like, I was very happy doing what I did every day because I had a purpose for it.
I was working two jobs every day of my life.
It was like five to nine instead of the nine to five, just stacking bread.
And so I was ready to do that for the next 10 years.
And so I'm, you know, I'm blessed today, but I was happy with what I was doing
Thailand bathrooms and TPI fitness.
So, yeah, I love, I respect the blue collar guy.
I know what it's like.
And I also know what it's like to play for every single dollar that you make on Saturday morning.
So I'm off for it.
That's going to be awesome, man.
I cannot wait for you to have that.
But let's get to the E9
Before we run out of time here
We're going to ask you nine fun questions
Get to know a little bit more about you
We're mixing this up
For you
We normally ask the same question
But we decided to change it
Give us your celebrity crush
Since you're all about the ladies
Yeah anyone
Celebrity crush
Selena Gomez man growing up
She's a cutie
Um
I also like Dua Lipa
Oh two cuties
Two cutey
Doa
She could work a microphone
She can work a microphone
She can work a microphone.
That's the thing is like she doesn't have like crazy, you know, whatever,
but she's just something about her.
She's cute.
I like her.
Okay.
Doa.
Shout out,
Dua if you're listening.
Yeah.
I'm at that level now where they might, you know, they might hear me.
I'm like an F list celebrity.
I feel like there's A list and B list.
I think I'm not like an F, but they might, you know, they might hear this.
Just, yeah.
Just keep an eye on those DMs.
You never know.
Stranger things have happened.
That's right.
All right.
It's for all the people out here because you're war against weasels.
You're always talking about weasels.
I need to go into Webster's mode here.
Give me the definition.
The DoD King definition of a weasel.
A weasel.
A T using insecure keyboard typing weasel.
Man, what is the, what is it King's definition?
Can I give like some adjectives or some...
Yeah, you could give some descriptors if you need.
Yeah, whatever.
A weasel uses T's.
A weasel is insecure.
A weasel.
is jealous and complains about their own circumstances
when they could do something about it themselves.
Well set.
Well set.
There you go.
Official.
For all you wiesles out there.
All right.
You can challenge one current PGA tour player
to a DOD contest.
Who are you calling out?
DoD contest PGA tour?
Man, I'm so lost that who's on the live tour and who's on the PGA.
Okay.
Any professional golfer.
Any professional golfer?
Bubba Watson.
Saw Bubba at the Caled event.
And I feel like he was talking smack to me like the DoD wasn't that hard.
And Bubba, like, you swing on the wrong side of the golf ball and I'll hit my DOD further than you.
So, yeah.
Bubba, giving you a little lip at the Coward event?
No, no, it wasn't like that.
It was just, you know, it was all friendly banter and stuff like that.
but I would like to see it one on one.
Okay.
He's a good guy.
He's a good guy.
It was all friendly banter.
I like to talk smack.
That event looks sweet, by the way.
It was crazy.
That was a life.
That's got to be one of those like pinch me moments where you're like, what the shit am I doing here?
I was going to say we can just go right to my next one because of that event.
I was going to ask who's the most famous person you've met through all this?
Because that event had to be up there.
Oh, dude, it was wild.
I mean, obviously, Callad, DJ Call.
is the man.
But I met, it was so wild because I hit him up on Instagram.
He had followed me.
I hit him up and I sent him a DM because he, like, talking about his term.
I was, you're going to have the driver up the deck ready.
And he just responds, you need come, just those three words.
And I was like, okay.
And he sent like this email or something.
So I gave him to manager Doug.
I was like, yo, Calid said, you need come.
Like, we got to go.
And so we hit him up.
And they're like, yeah, like, you can come.
And we were like, he was like, do you want to play or do you want to be on a box and hit
DoD for every group that comes through.
And I was like, I kind of want to play, but I also want to meet every single person in this
event.
So I was like, put me on a T or on a box.
I got to stop saying it.
Put me on the box.
And so we met every single person that came through there.
And it was like, the first group was like Victor Cruz, fat Joe, Carlos Santana.
I was like, oh, my God.
But like, boom, two minutes later, the next group comes up, Cuevo.
And it's just like, okay, the next group, just like Jorge Posada, all these.
crazy people. So it was like, for me, I couldn't really process it at the time. It was like a fever dream.
But I met some, some cool cats during that. But I would say Cald's the most famous person I've met.
And he's the man, super down to earth. And what he's doing for the game is awesome. We the best.
We the best. You need come. You need come. And I came. And that was it.
Easy. Yeah. Easy. Yeah. A few words. I respect it. All right. My next one. You qualify into the
US Open this year, right?
Go through local sectionals. Boom, you're in.
But they put a local rule in play at the U.S. Open.
No T's allowed at any time, but you're not allowed to hit the Gennett Three Woods,
dogs only, off the deck.
Where do you finish at the open?
Only DODs, no T's for anybody?
No T's for anybody.
Local rule.
26 shot win.
Okay.
Delusional, there it is.
26?
Just a little bit, but yeah, I mean,
just think about.
Just think about it, man.
Okay.
Every day of my life, I hit driver off the deck.
Every single day.
Four hundred and seventy days.
Okay.
And now everybody else, like, they'll hit it here and there, all this stuff.
Imagine doing it every single time that you go play golf.
If you miss it by that much, you chunk, top, shank it, okay?
When I'm Saturday morning, 8 a.m., I've done some drink in the night before.
And I'm on that first box and I throw it on the ground.
It goes into a divot.
and there's 20 people around me with their phones out waiting for me to chunk it.
I'm like, okay, maybe I should have been a little better on that G toss there.
But if you think about your average person, they go play 18 holes right now, no T's, and you've got to hit Dodds.
Are they still going to shoot under par?
I've seen a lot of PJ tour players like thin it and shank it and stuff like that.
Obviously, like they would smash me every aspect of the game.
I'm just talking smack here.
But, you know, I feel like I could compete and make the cut if we're being.
and realistic.
Yeah, love it.
I think 26 shots.
I think that's realistic.
I either make the cutter I win by 26.
This is.
One or the other.
Yeah, that's it.
One of the other.
No in between.
No.
All right, I'll go with my next one since Colt went.
All right, you pointed out in your videos, it's clear to see.
But you're a golfer, let's say that has, you got some juice, right?
You got some swag.
Whatever the terminology is that you want to use, you got it.
In your opinion, which tour player you think possesses the most of that same trait?
who's got some juice about him out there
dude's about man
I really don't watch too much golf
these days
I feel bad for saying that because I love this
how about this I could change it up for you
give me a if you just want to name another athlete
in sports it's like I like what he does
I like the way he carries himself who would it be
Connor McGregor
I knew that was going to be it
the walk dude yeah you got the
the man I wrote down you remind me a Connor McGregor
hell yeah that's a compliment i'm i'm nothing of what that man is um but yeah he's he's the man
he's also freak of nature um so just to be yeah i appreciate that but that dude's on a different
level than any human will ever be i think he's coming back december is he is he fighting he's
about to go yeah michael chanlin in december yeah i've seen i've seen my man on yacht you know
having a good time rapping and stuff like that so i hope he gets dialed in i think he's
He's, you know.
He's already won.
Let's just say that.
Win or lose, he's already won.
He's the man.
It doesn't matter what he does.
He had the craziest come up in sports ever.
All right.
My next one.
Are you the best golfer from, as you say, Nolfo, Virginia?
Nafik VA, man.
There's some good golfers that come out of here.
Anybody can beat anybody on any given day.
But out of Nafik, the only person to ever play on tour was Curtis Strange,
who obviously went back to back U.S. Open.
and he played with my uncle back in high school.
And that dude's a G.
So no, because he's got two major championships to his belt.
I was just wondering because I read an article earlier about you wanting to be,
come out of there and play professional golf and all this.
And I'm like, I'm interested in know if he knows Curtis Strange is from there.
Well, two-time major two-time U.S. Open Channel.
Yeah, yeah.
He, I know him of him well.
My dad's brother grew up playing golf and they were competitors in high school.
And then college when he went to Wake Forest.
and my uncle went to Georgia Southern.
So I know a lot about him.
And just born and raised NAFIC VA,
got to respect the game where it is
and back-to-back U.S. opens.
I mean, that's, it wasn't done again until what,
it was like Brooks.
Brooks?
Brooks, yeah.
Doesn't happen.
So you got to respect it.
Nafic VA represent.
Mm-hmm.
757.
All right, here we go.
I need you to rank the following fellow kings,
okay?
From best to worst, rank these.
Okay.
Okay, one, you got King James, you got LeBron, right?
You got the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, King of Rock and Roll, Elvis, and Burger King.
Rank those best to worse.
I love that.
All right, we got to go King of Rock, Elvis Presley, the swag, the charisma, legend.
Michael Jackson will go two.
We'll go two with Michael Jackson.
We'll go three, LeBron James and four.
Burger King because Mickey Don's beats Burger King every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Burger last. Okay. I was wondering where he's lied into the mix.
Yeah, I'm a big, big Mac guy or a double quarter pounder with cheese, no, no pickles,
have the onions on there. I love the grease. But the Burger King grease is too much for me.
I thought you throw Tiger King in there.
He's from Coltsholm Town, by the way, dude.
Apparently we went to the same high school. Really?
Yeah, you got Curtis Strange. You got the Tiger King.
That's crazy. Oh, we got to throw Tiger King.
you know, in between MJ and in LeBron.
No love for LaGonne.
I love that.
Yeah, no love for.
What was it?
Is it like Wikipedia or something?
If you go to Tiger King's page, it's like the most,
is he that they rank him as the most famous person from Pilot Point, Texas or something like that?
No, he was third.
Which he is.
I mean, if you go to Pilot Point High School, famous alumni,
it goes this football coach who's got the best record in Texas high school football history,
me and Tiger King.
Really?
I think that's changed now.
Colts above Tiger King.
You got the most popular Netflix show.
like ever let's go right
zb sb yes bud
tiger king's got stress in prison i think
all right last one
on a scale of one to ten
how much do the ladies love the dod
man let me tell you something about that
let me talk to y'all
preach let me let me hold my thought for a second
and come out with the most respectful way to say this
before this
I was 5'7 I had a girlfriend for a long time
and then like whatever here and there
but all I'm going to say is nowadays women respond to my DMs
which is beautiful.
But before that, if I wasn't the king,
I wouldn't have gotten this.
So you know,
you got to pick and choose what you get.
Because,
you know,
some of them would never,
I know for a fact,
would never talk to me
if I didn't have,
like,
clout or whatever,
society's going to a crazy place
at the fact that
Instagram followers matters.
But I'm all for it
and I'm taking advantage of it,
you know?
It's good to be the king.
That's right, babe.
The good.
Heavy as the head.
Don't forget that.
Heavy as the head that,
where's the crown.
You know it,
sleazy, man.
You know it.
Shit, man.
Yeah,
Of course, dude.
Of course.
All right,
you got it.
You're wearing it right now.
Dude, man, that was fantastic.
Appreciate it.
Can't wait for you to get out of Arizona.
Set up the match with Kittleson.
Going to be a lot of fun, man.
Continue success.
I appreciate it.
And can I say one more thing before we head out?
When we come out to Arizona,
I know you guys are both dirty at golf.
And I know y'all,
we want to do the one-on-one against Kittleson.
But I got two homies here,
Austin Newsom and Del Baker,
who both watch your show.
And I want to do,
we can do it off camera,
but a little three-on-three V-E.
versus Arizona after the match or whatever, just while we're out there.
Done, dude.
You name it.
We'd love to.
Shout out to those guys.
Bring them.
The more the merrier.
We'll have a beautiful.
You can play kiddie straight up.
We could get all that camera-wise.
And we could do this on camera or off-camera.
But yeah, we love a good match.
Bring your boy.
Hell yeah.
Let's go, baby.
Awesome.
Bring that wallet, too, Doc.
Oh, you got it, man.
You know, I'm ready for it.
I appreciate you coming on.
I believe it.
All right.
That was the DOD King Carter Smith.
What a beauty.
It's so funny, so he's like, I mean, this, this is, this is, this is not a little character.
He plays it up.
Yeah, he plays it up.
He is such a nice kid.
I talked to him on the phone before the interview.
Awesome kid.
But I love, I love this character he's created.
I mean, this kid, he's got a lot of confidence, a lot of attitude.
And obviously, a lot of game to back it up to the dude hits it 300 yards off the deck.
His golf swing is clean.
You post the videos and stuff.
It's amazing when he posts one of these things, like for all the weasels out here,
he flips the ball, it hits a seat.
these comments on his page.
I'm like, how are people so fired up about it?
Like, this kid, like, I love what he's done.
Dude, he works two jobs to fund himself to play golf in the summer,
wants to turn professional.
He found something that hit, and he got out there, and he paved his own way.
And now he's making money.
He's on the show.
We're talking about him.
Like, what can you be mad about?
Like, these people that, like, get in his comments and are just worked out.
I mean, he said he got death threat.
I'm like, dude, he's hitting dog off the death, which is hard.
But, like, God, chill out a little.
I love the kid.
Good news for Wyndham Clark.
He's always wanted a little brother.
I think you might have one now.
Okay.
Win him your big brother now.
There you go.
I like it.
Sleeze, you are the father.
Oh, God.
But he's fun, man.
Dude, he's awesome.
Love the war against the weasels.
I love his confidence with the ladies.
Ladies, you better get going,
sliding those DMs quickly because he might be off the market.
Doa.
And then how about our guy, the match with Drew Kittleson?
This is going to be a lot of fun.
I love that he was giving Kitty some shit about using the ground tea.
Oh, yeah.
I talked to Kitty.
It was with Kitty later that day.
I was like, dude, good news, it's set up.
The stakes are, if you beat him, he's got to work for you for half a day,
tile and bathrooms, and he's going to come back with what he wants on his side.
But we're ready for this.
We're going to don king the shit out of this thing when he gets out here in the fall.
It's going to be a hell of a match.
I assume it's just straight up golf after you deck it.
Oh, yeah.
After you deck it, right?
Just play the game.
All right, we'll get this thing.
It's going to happen.
This winter when the DoD King comes to Arizona, going to be a lot of fun.
But thanks to him for sitting down.
Shout out to him.
You are not going to want to want to.
miss our next couple of guests. We're not going to reveal it now. We will get to it. But right now,
let's talk a little gambling because we are football experts. It's football season. He took a little
tough hit. I took week one. The whole weekend was a tough. I just got smash in the face. I had no
tape, was going off preseason hype. Media screwed me. I lost virtually every bet I placed.
Yeah, but I have to feel like one hurt more than the others. Being a Colorado guy,
but prime time, Dion Sanders coming to town and just roughing up your frogs.
But the amount of unknown text messages I got from either 970 or 303, Northern Colorado, like,
hey, dude, just check.
You know, I was like, oh, wow, nice to hear from you after 15 years of never speaking to you.
Glad to know we're still friends.
I mean, they were coming out of the woodworks, just getting body bagged.
That was a, I was a tough hell.
The 20 in a hook, I pretty much conceded, like middle third is like, this ain't happening.
Let's just walk out of here with a dub, throw a couple picks in the end zone,
miss field goals.
We have the worst defense in the history of mankind.
And you get an L.
And Shradir Sanders, way better than I thought.
Picked us apart.
Defense is shit, by the way.
And Travis Hunter, he played 130 snaps.
So I don't know if you can stay healthy an entire season doing that.
But holy shit.
Dion said he was better than, like, Dion, pretty confident dude as well.
It's like this kid's better than I was when I was his age.
He's a freak athlete, man.
I mean, it's going to be interested to see, like, what happens with him in his pro career.
But, I mean, I think you're putting him up there with Dionne, Bo Jackson-like levels.
I mean, this guy, he's that kind of athlete.
If he stays healthy and continues to play on both sides of the ball at any sort of level, that's
Heisman.
I mean, there's just people that don't do it.
You won your bet, though, props.
Good job.
You took SC minus a million and they scored a million.
Thanks for slinging it all over the place and absolutely killing Nevada, which is in Reno.
It is in Reno, the biggest little city in the world.
That was like the one favorite I didn't take.
That one covers.
I mean, I got roughed up pretty good news is it's a three-client.
Let's keep firing.
Clemson.
I'm not going to lay down.
That's what they want you to do.
Odds are in our favor.
We just keep fire. Clemson sucks.
Clemson is terrible.
That hurt me.
All I heard is how great they're going to be.
LSU.
Oh, yeah, had LSU multiple ways, body bagged.
We got two big ones this weekend.
Texas going to Tuscaloosa, which is for game to be.
Texas at Alabama.
Hell of a game last year.
Texas could have beat him.
Quinn Yor got another year under his belt.
So interesting to see that's, that's obviously the big one Saturday night,
early Saturday morning, especially for us out here,
9 a.m. kickoff for us locally in Scottsdale.
We got Nebraska coming to Colorado to play Coach Prime.
Yeah.
That used to be one of the great rivalries in college.
It's been trash for about 20 years,
but a lot more people interested it this year with Rule and Dion, obviously.
This is not one of the great robberies.
My pick for the week.
See if I can get two in a row here.
The Oregon Ducks put up a gazillion, 81 points.
Their mascot did over 500 push-ups.
He's got to be exhausted.
Going to Lubbock, tough place to play,
but Texas Tech coming off a loss to Wyoming.
Another crusher.
Oregon's six and a half point dogs,
six and a point favorites, sorry.
I'm going Oregon minus six in the hook.
Don't hate it.
I think the bets right now is just short the big 12.
They got roughed up pretty good.
God, Texas Tech.
Texas Tech, all this hype leading.
I'm like, oh, at Wyoming, fine, no problem.
17-0 is like, thank God.
Get off the Schneide.
Nope.
Lose them all.
So I'm staying in the same trend here, Colt.
I'm going Utah minus seven over the Baylor Bears.
Always love shorting Baylor, by the way.
Utah, nice win over Florida.
They look good.
They did it without starting quarterback cammerizing,
who's a stud.
by the way. Talks are he may be playing this week. If they get him back, they become even more
dangerous. And Baylor lose at home to Texas State, their first win ever over Power 5 school.
So Big 12 got roughed up week one. I'm going to jump on the trend. I need off the Schneide bad.
Give me Utah minus 7 over Baylor.
All right. I like it. And good news is NFL starts this weekend. Cowboys Sunday night
football against the Giants. Who the Broncos got? More time to lose on the NFL.
Who do the Broncos? Oh, wow. I'm super fan over here.
Dude, I'm committed to TCU, and now I'm about to jump off.
I have to get on Broncos heavy, but you catch me out of a loss for words here.
I don't even know who the Broncos have opening week.
Godly, what a fan of you are.
I mean, if they win and you come in here, this does.
This is problematic.
This is problematic.
Oh, yeah, Vegas.
That's actually one we should get.
We should get, Raiders should be a little bit down.
I don't know, Jimmy G.
It's time to ride.
All right.
It's time to ride.
I'm glad you know who they're playing now.
I'm still focused on TCU.
If you're going to lose, lose early.
Broncos, we got some time.
Once again, make sure you go check out our new YouTube channel starting September 12th.
