Starting point is 00:00:01 All right, here we go. Welcome back to Subpar with Colt Nost and Drew Stoltz. And before we get going here, we got some very exciting news to share with all of you out there. We are taking the show on the road. Huge thank you to Truest for having us at the Truest Championship next week. We're going to be live from the Truest Fan Zone, the South End by the 13th hole at the beautiful Quail Hollow Club. Thursday, May 7th, and Friday, May 8th. Special guests will be joining us both days.
Starting point is 00:00:36 We're going to open it up for some Q&A session with the the fans in the crowd, but space is limited. First come, first serve. So get there early. It's one of the best stops on the PGA Tour. So it's Truist Championship. It's going to be a lot of fun. The Home of the Transfusion.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Cell one pub. Shout up. We're going to hit that. But we're going to be at the fan zone, South End, Thursday, Friday, of Truist Championship. With some great guests, by the way. And later. Fan favorite.
Starting point is 00:00:58 In the evening. Joining us. We'll get to that a little bit later. But right now, let's get to the Zurich Classic of Naulands. I was down there all week. It was phenomenal. Fun team event. field, not the best, but what a story we had come out of there with one of the favorites,
Starting point is 00:01:15 the Fitzpatrick brothers, Matt and Alex. Just unbelievable Alex Fitzpatrick playing on a sponsor exemption with his brother, Matt, by far the highest ranked player in the world. They go out there, they get the W with an unbelievable bunker shot on a 76 second hole from Matt Fitzpatrick. But with the win, a life changer, a career changer for Alex Fitzpatrick. He is now a PGA tour member, two-year exemption. He's in all the signature events, the rest of the season.
Starting point is 00:01:39 He's in the PGA championship in just a couple of weeks. This was a guy who was top 10 on the DP World Tour, race to Dubai standing. So he was looking good to get a PGA tour card. But this changes everything. But it was so much fun to watch them battling out in a very difficult alternate shot format there on Sunday. You could see how much it meant to Matt
Starting point is 00:01:58 and how much pressure he was putting on himself to help possibly change the career of his brother Alex. Yeah, he did it. What a good brother. Yeah. Come to think of my brother never did shit for me like that. Come on, Jeff. Yeah, tighten up, Jeff.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Take me to the PGA Tour. And that's, like, the narrative that Matt just, like, basically carried Alex to this thing. That's not the case. Like Alex played some extremely good golf. Like you mentioned, he's six on the DPE World Tour. Pretty good chance he was going to be on the PJ Tour next year over here. Although you never know what happens. But he played good golf.
Starting point is 00:02:28 And the big debate, I guess, is, like, all right, non-PGA Tour member, comes over, plays his brother, wins it. Should you get all the stuff that you get for winning an individual event, like, year exemption, so it's two and a half years effectively, signature events right away. That's probably the one thing that I have, like, maybe the biggest issue with. It's just like, that's a great win. That's also a team win. It is very different than trying to close out an event by yourself.
Starting point is 00:02:54 So to have him be in those going forward when, like, you look at the 75th player last year, you know, on the PJ tour, not getting those. I think that's kind of where, I don't know what the happy medium is there, too, but then you got the PJ Championship coming up, of course, and the players next year. So, I mean, it's all the stuff here. But we always talk about this, like, what if? What if it's a guy that's not on the PJ tour? Now, here it is. What do you think? In my opinion, it is what it is.
Starting point is 00:03:18 But it does suck for, like, one person. This, with his win, him getting into the Cadillac championship this week at Dural, signature event, he knocks Michael Thorbjornson out. With it being a team event, I can see how it can bother some guys with the end of the day. It's a PJ tour event. It's on the schedule. Everybody knows if you win, what comes with. with it part of the deal um i just think it's such a cool story for alice fitzpatrick to go from
Starting point is 00:03:44 you know struggling honestly early in his pro career after going to school at wake forest to getting his first win as a professional over at the dp world tour uh in india i believe and then just to parlay this into a pj tour win with his brother i mean what a cool story i can't imagine what it was like for his i mean his whole family in town both of them did um really cool yeah thorpe yonson gets knocked out this week i'll tell you somebody probably at the end of the season, he's just in Matt and Alex, and thank you note because someone's going to get in from the DP World Tour on that spot that he's no longer occupied.
Starting point is 00:04:17 And on top of that, I mean, Matt right now, dude, he is quickly, I've always kind of felt this, but he's just pulled off a few shots and, like, obviously three wins and four weeks. He is quickly rising up a very short list that I have in golf that I like, when all the chips are on the table, you need one shot, one big moment, the guy you want hitting it. I mean, he's done it over and over, that bunker shot, I thought he was going to get it up and down.
Starting point is 00:04:40 I did not think he would fly it all the way to the hole spin it, like back to a six-inch kick-in. But man, he's done it a handful of times now over his career. When Backs against the wall, like he's, he just got that dog. I don't know if it's because he was like a shorter player when he was coming up, so he kind of had to figure out ways to get it done. And now he's added all the link to it.
Starting point is 00:05:00 His iron play is unbelievable now. He's the full package. But whatever you got internally that you can't teach, just like, hey, got to have this shot, you know, Reggie Miller type stuff. He's got it. The one on 18, yeah. I would say before that, it was a struggle.
Starting point is 00:05:12 I mean, you look at the basically top three would on 11. Could happen to anyone. The real, really bad t-shot on 12 behind the tree that led to a double boge. The wedge were him and Dan Parrott's guy. He couldn't make up their mind. What wedge did it? He airmails the green. The one spot you couldn't have.
Starting point is 00:05:27 We actually had Austin Eckroat on our radio show earlier today, and he was in that final pairing with them. And he said that flop shot Alex hit from over the green on 13 was one of the best flop shots he's ever seen. He might be the best one he's ever seen. I thought Alex performed beautifully all week. He played great. He birdied the last three holes.
Starting point is 00:05:46 The shot on his own ball on Saturday. The iron shot on 17 on Sunday. But it was nice to have a little one footer for the way. If he would hit that like five or six feet, oh, my. Or even just one that's like, you're going to make it, but it ain't all the way dead. Like, why don't you just go ahead and finish that out? Like this one was a, I mean, it was over at that point. But even like if he hits a great shot up there, it was just like three feet.
Starting point is 00:06:09 just to have to hit that coming down. I mean, that was an unreal. He got in there. He was like, the lie was the best lie I've ever seen in a bunker. It looked like it was on a T. I was like, I don't care. You're taking that kind of swing, playing it that way. As good as he is, you're bringing a lot of stuff into play there.
Starting point is 00:06:22 And he hit it, flew it all the way there. And then it spun sideways, damn near when it. I mean, I would a skull fuck that into the parking lot. That's like a just lay open the 52 little chunky, run it up there. Little chunky hit about foot behind it. Tunky, whoopsie, on the down slope, rolls up to a respectable shot. But when he got in the bunker, I was like, this is, how cool. was this right here though he's because Matt's about
Starting point is 00:06:41 did the bunker shot. I didn't expect him to hit it to a foot. I was thinking no matter what, probably around 10 feet or something like that. I was like Alex Fitzpatrick is going to have a put to literally change his career, change his life. And he did. Thank God it was a foot. It was just eight inches long. Yeah. Hell of a good story
Starting point is 00:06:57 for him though. A little side note. Shout out. Got to give a little love to Desi Vegas, who was a great host for us down there. CBS team, golf channel team. We had dinner there on Saturday night. Friday night was there as well but this is where the rumblings kind of started about a possible
Starting point is 00:07:12 well sponsor exemption next year for the squad of Johnson Wagner and Colt Nost to tee it up at the Zurich and because of this it obviously started leading to a lot of gambling things which will probably be on our new sponsor Kalshi here next year if this all works out but some guys setting it over under on our alternate shot
Starting point is 00:07:30 let's hear it. We're going to have some interested parties I'll say this Trevor I'melman I respect the hell out of you and at least you weren't as rude as some But Trevor Emelman said 77 and a half if we get in the field and play alternate shot on Friday. George Savaricus says there's no chance in hell. We're breaking par for two days. Brendan DeYoung, Filet, I have a massive problem, are over under 84 an alternate shot. Not a lot of faith.
Starting point is 00:07:57 Has he not seen the game lately? Not a lot of faith in the boys. You've seen Johnson's. You've seen some of those. Well, last time I thought Johnson Tied up, he shot 66. Yeah, three-time tour winner, dude. You can play the game. I think you guys, honestly, if you're in an alternate shot,
Starting point is 00:08:11 you both hit it straight. You don't, there's no, I don't see a lot of lurking big numbers. There could be some bog. Short game, you're going to need to hit a lot of greens. The less you have to chip for either of you, probably the best. 100%. What would you realistically? Let's just say it happens.
Starting point is 00:08:24 I thought that was all bullshit, by the way, at the end, but then it's like we're getting into, like, the actual, just could happen. So you have to set it, and you're on the hook for it. All the action that comes in, you got to back it. What would you set your 36 whole? I said even part. level par.
Starting point is 00:08:37 So what are you got like four under the first day, four over the second day, ish? I mean, hey, I hope we break that. I actually asked our wonderful producer, seller, shy. I was like, I said, how do you feel about this? If we had, because Johnson would actually get in the field based off his status of being a winner. The way he feels.
Starting point is 00:08:55 He's like close to being in. He would have been in this year. 100% he would have been. And the only thing is I would need a sponsor exemption. Would Zurich do that? I hope so. Steve Worthy, if you're listening, shout out. Amanda Ballionis actually asked the U.S. CEO about this,
Starting point is 00:09:10 and she goes, sounds like they need a lesson in risk management. Coming from an insurance company. There you go. Well done. Well done. Good answer from her. But I think even par would be fair. But going back to sellers, I was like, hey, so obviously we work for CBS.
Starting point is 00:09:23 We cover the tournament. What if we make the cut? He goes, we won't miss you. Well, that's a little harsh. Cross that bridge when we get there. I said, okay, well, let's just get a little more ahead of ourselves. just say we happen to win two-year exemption for me and Yagu. Very realistic.
Starting point is 00:09:40 Can we have our job back in two years? He goes, deal. I don't think he's too concerned about either of those things. Yeah, I don't blame him. We'll see you Saturday. Yeah, see a Saturday. How about that? 2 p.m. local time.
Starting point is 00:09:50 Would be fun. I'd like to be on the grounds as a walking interviewer at all times. Yeah, I asked you to cat in, you turn me down. I think my cadding days are done. It's ridiculous. You can't walk around like that, carrying a big bag. I have a little bag. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:10:02 Still, I'm not what I used to be. And that I'd rather be walking out. Hey, Johnson, back on 12 when you skull fucked it into the elderly woman's forehead. How do you move past that here on 13? That'd be great. Skull fuck is such a great word. It's a great one. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:14 And it's well deserved. By the way, I said he boneed, the crowd thought he boned it at the Masters. And everybody was like, what does that even mean? I was like, you never heard somebody you boned it? Yeah. That says like 101 level vocabulary stuff. Yeah. That would be fun.
Starting point is 00:10:29 That would be fun. We'll keep our eyes peeled on that. If it doesn't happen. The odds. Too, Slease. would be my 200th career PJ Tour Start. There you go. Down in the Big Easy. Big Easy is so great.
Starting point is 00:10:41 Why not? What a place. Speaking of other, or just big golf news in general, outside of that, U.S. has a Ryder Cup captain. Yeah. What do you think? I didn't expect it. Wasn't even on my list. And I probably had like three or four guys on that list who I thought it possibly could be, and he was not on it.
Starting point is 00:11:00 Jim Furrick named 2027 Rider Cup. But I guess they, listen, I love Jim. Jim is a great dude. He's a friend. He was one hell of a player. He captained this ship back in 2018 over in Paris. And we got absolutely dummied. And we've always said, you know, the captain gets too much credit and way too much blame.
Starting point is 00:11:22 But you had a chance at it. It didn't go too well. What are we doing? It would be one thing if we were running it back in America. Like Davis Love had his shot. Didn't go too well. ran it back at Hazeltine. It worked out really well.
Starting point is 00:11:35 He's going to do two road games. I don't know who else was on that list. I'm not privileged to that information, but I was shocked that Jim Furrick was named Rider Cup captain. I thought we'd be looking at somebody like Stuart Sink has been a popular name. Justin Leonard's name. Justin Leonard has. Keegan Bradley,
Starting point is 00:11:53 possibly running it back again. Hell, I'll tell you what, with how great of a story it's been and how motivating I think this guy can be, I thought Gary Woodland would be a great. Joyce. I mean, he was there. It was there at Beth Page. I think I don't, I never expected to be someone who's already been a captain who had already been a captain, right? And Webb, web, like we talked about last time, it backfired with Keegan. Because like, worst case scenario, he might deserve to be on the team, but he's not an auto qualifier. He's in the hardest spot possible. They're probably like, okay, maybe we get a little older than that. We can't be picking a guy that could potentially play his way onto the team. So maybe they go a little bit older, Jim Furrick, you know, still young enough to play with all these guys, but old enough to. of course, not be qualifying for a Rider Cup. Maybe that was a thought process.
Starting point is 00:12:36 I just thought I didn't expect a captain that we'd already had. Being that there's more captains, I think, that you can pick, then there are Rider Cups. That's where you run into the problem, right? Especially if a guy runs it back for multiple times. It's like you run out of spots. Webb Simpson would be an interesting one. How about Freddie Cupples?
Starting point is 00:12:53 He's never been one. Freddie never loses anything. It feels like that he does. Granted, hasn't been a Rider Cup. Like, Jim will be the most prepared. I'm curious to see where he goes with his. assistant captains. He goes young.
Starting point is 00:13:06 He goes a little older. He had like, who do you have? Like Davis Love? I think he had Justin Leonard. Zach Johnson, I believe was on that like assistant captain's squad. So where he goes with that.
Starting point is 00:13:18 But you can't, I mean, the only thing you can knock is he's already been in and we lost. He's a great guy. He's going to be extremely well prepared. I think he'll do everything you possibly can to set him up for success. But they also were pointing out. I didn't realize this at the time.
Starting point is 00:13:30 I mean, we got dummied over there at that rider cup. That was the one they set it up perfect for them. We couldn't hit a fair way. We just got crushed. But his captain's picks at the time. And there was none that were like controversial. It was like, yeah, of course you're going to pick this guy.
Starting point is 00:13:42 It's like phenyl playing his best golf, a few others. They went 210 and 2. Yeah. Tiger was a captain's pick after winning the tour championship. Yeah. Phil was a captain's pick. Bryson. Terrible golf course for Bryson.
Starting point is 00:13:54 This is where Patrick Reed bitched about playing with Tiger. Yeah, as good as I am in the Ryder Cup. I don't want to, you shouldn't sit me twice. Yeah. Well, maybe you shouldn't bitch about playing with the greatest. player of all time. I don't think that's why you endear yourself. But I'll just say this.
Starting point is 00:14:06 And like I said, I love Jim. He is a great dude. He's been phenomenal at the game of golf. I just haven't seen one person in the golf world, like, publicly say, I love this pick. This is great. This was the next guy. Yeah, neither have I. And I think maybe it's because Keegan was such like a splash of a pick.
Starting point is 00:14:25 I mean, we were just talking about that for forever from the moment that it came out, leading all the way up to it. And then, of course, he plays good enough to potentially be on the team. team and that that was such a step in a different direction, a young guy, still active, still playing, that this one, like, this is more in the traditional sense. This is a guy that's, you know. We don't have to worry about this guy possibly playing. He's not going to be qualifying.
Starting point is 00:14:46 It's more like, do we, you know, how do you do things differently, I guess, going into this one than you did last time? Maybe there's that. He's been there. He experienced that he knows the mistakes. But at the end of day, dude, like, whoever we picked, it's like I've said a million times. With a few exceptions, the guys are going to go. whoever plays better out there is going to get it done.
Starting point is 00:15:05 We could have had anyone you wanted to name U.S. captain in the first two days of Bethpage, and we weren't beating the Europeans. It was a shocker, though. There's no doubt about it. But congrats to Jim. I know you're going to be ready. Hopefully get the boys going and go over there and win one back. Because it's been a rough go as of late.
Starting point is 00:15:23 I also feel like that news just kind of slid. It was like, oh, announcement and like nobody was talking about, especially during like Zurich. It's not the biggest week of the year or anything, but like nobody talking about it. well next year it's going to be the biggest week of the season. Yeah, but the fall goes as planned. Very potentially. Also want to give a huge shout out to Nellie Corta,
Starting point is 00:15:39 who won her third major championship at the Chevron, just blew away the field, one by five. Came up one shot short of the all-time scoring record there by my girl, Doddy Pepper. Still got it, Doddy. No, I've lost it. But how about the start of this girl's season? Okay.
Starting point is 00:15:55 She has played five events, Lise. She has two wins and three seconds. Mm-hmm. Is that good? it's like Scotty you know a lot of seasons are rom on live something like that just never plays bad and that course going into bombers paradise it's like she gonna be what is it no one got within four on the weekend ever so yeah they play memorial park where gary woodland won just a few weeks ago it's a big hitters paradise as we always see every single year there if they make it long
Starting point is 00:16:21 they had a ton of rain so it played extremely long it played almost 7000 yards for the women if it's like that you ain't beaten her and it just it's just it's not happened There's no easy wins, but she made that look easy. That was never in doubt. Doing big things. Never to see it. Kind of like the way the grass clippings went, by the way. There was a runaway.
Starting point is 00:16:40 You missed it, dude, but you didn't miss much. You had a hard time keeping up. I looked at the score, Sleas. I was keeping. Buddy. I was trying to, you know, get updates while we were down there. My Las Vegas action team, shout out to them. They finished third, first week out, had a very nice finish.
Starting point is 00:16:55 I believe the draft picks had a very good run. But I was keeping tabs on everybody. involved in I was slightly disappointed when I looked at the Slee's Kittleson squad of the Minnesota muskies we didn't have it we didn't have it I'm a you know I'm a stand-up guy when we're good I'll tell you when we're good when we're bad we didn't have it I will say this the first night the nighttime tea time was hard it was hard to shit was blowing 15 easy like the whole time club and a half pushing two into the wind the greens were burnt out they're fat you know what I'm talking about like when you set your putter down it slides all around we just couldn't
Starting point is 00:17:29 hit it like we weren't hitting it like we weren't anything that battle shots. We just weren't any all that close where you expect to make it. We were just two putting over and over and over. So, 400 under the first day, which is way out of it.
Starting point is 00:17:39 And then you got to show up the next day and you have no chance of winning. It's a little bit of a, you know, hard to get your juices up. But I'd say this, I don't care what conditions we played in, what time we teed off.
Starting point is 00:17:48 Austin Quick, Tyler Rewarski, 23 under in that thing, dude. That's moving. And we're about six. 13 pars. And 36. These aren't like gimmies,
Starting point is 00:17:57 holes or gimmee pins or anything. Like greens are tough. that's going to be a tough one to clip. They played unbelievable. So shout out to them. Great point. Tough. Tough dress rehearsal for the four ball.
Starting point is 00:18:10 Listen, I did it my entire career. It's never fun to finish before the TV coverage starts. They're like under the lights. It's like we're under the biggest light, the sun. I'll be under my blanket. That's the only light. They're like coming back for concerts.
Starting point is 00:18:21 Like it's seven hours from out. I wasn't planning on an AMT time. Bad way. You're saving it all for the four ball here. Yeah, dude. It's just a little dress rehearsal. It ain't nothing. It ain't nothing.
Starting point is 00:18:30 But shout out to those boys, man. That was real life. That was good stuff. It was fun. I can't wait to play later this year. That thing is so much fun. It was actually on in the sports book Saturday night down at Caesars in New Orleans. Is that right?
Starting point is 00:18:43 Love that. Yeah. Yeah, it was cool, man. I mean, they had it on like the little mini screen. Mike was out there night too. You can imagine how that went. I mean, it's weird. I saw a lot of girls on Instagram making comments.
Starting point is 00:18:52 A lot of golf fans. I was like, wow, you guys are here to watch. Yeah, a lot of fans. A lot of fans. All right. Well, we're on to a signature event. The Cadillac. championship. Our new sponsor, Kalshi.
Starting point is 00:19:03 So how to make some picks, please. Why don't you tell them all about it? Yeah, before we dive into it, we're going to give a quick shout out to our sponsor Kashi, the largest prediction market in the U.S. Kalshi allows you to trade and win real money on events like sports and elections. Let's make one thing clear. Kaushi is not a sports book. On Kauci, you are not playing against the house. You are trading head to head against other people. Kalsi just runs the marketplace. That makes Kauci in exchange. That means they do not profit when you lose, the lines aren't set by them, lines move based on where real money goes. Public opinion sets the line, not some algorithm working against you.
Starting point is 00:19:38 Kalshi is not regulated by states. Instead, it is CFTC approved, meaning it is a federally regulated exchange, and that's why it is available across the U.S. If you want to try it yourself, Kalshi will give you $20 when you trade $20 if you use our code subpar when you sign up. And why wouldn't you? Absolutely. There's a lot of money to be had out there.
Starting point is 00:19:59 All right. Let's get hot this week. Cadillac champion, as I mentioned, signature event, but five of the top 15 in the world are sitting this one out. Tough spot in the schedule. I don't understand why it's like this. You got, obviously, we had the Masters, signature event, RBC Heritage, the Zurich.
Starting point is 00:20:13 Now we have signature event, signature event major. Yeah. So tough situation in the schedule. Still a great field, but you have Ludwig Oberg, Robert McIntyre, Matt Fitzpatrick, Zander Shafley, and one other one that I can't remember. Somebody else is really good. But anyway, five very good players sitting this one out scheduling.
Starting point is 00:20:34 So that doesn't matter. We're still going to try to make some money. Matt has earned a week off. Matt has earned a week off. He's played a lot. He's got to be exhausted. All right. Our top 20 bet, who we going with this week?
Starting point is 00:20:45 I mean, I feel about this. Give me Daniel Berger. Okay. Of course, most of these guys haven't seen before, if they have, it's been a long time. So you can't really go off course history. But South Florida, Bermuda, Wendy, Graney. I like guys that play on that all the time. Daniel Ruger fits that mold.
Starting point is 00:21:02 Give me DB, top 20. All right. I actually have never been to Trump Drow. Obviously, I've seen it on TV many of times. I know when they went in and redid it, it became a bomber's paradise. You had to smash it, or you basically had zero chance.
Starting point is 00:21:17 It played extremely difficult. There's a reason it's called the Blue Monster. I hope they set it up extremely difficult this week. But I'm going to go with a guy that absolutely smashes it off the tee. He's having such a consistent year. So for our top 10 play this week, Let's go with Jake Nat. Love that.
Starting point is 00:21:31 Love that. You can move it around, crushes it off the tee. Like you said, that's the blueprint, which is kind of another similar thing you could say about the guy we got winning this week.
Starting point is 00:21:39 Chris Goddardup is our pick to win. Going for his third of the season, destroys it off the tee. Can hit the Stinger probably as good as anybody in golf right now and has good course history and, like, windy condition. He played great Scotland
Starting point is 00:21:54 and the Open Championship last year. So Chris Goderup might as well. Let's do it. Might as well. I'll get one. All right. Another one. Yeah, head on over to Kalshi.
Starting point is 00:22:02 Use that code subpar and follow along with us this week at the Cadillac Championship. All right, let's get to our guests this week. This is a fun one, man. This guy is such a great personality. He was one of the stars of the internet invitational. He's fantastic on social media. Just a great dude. Loves the game of golf.
Starting point is 00:22:19 Here's Chaz 100 on subpar. Ladies and gents, we got one of the most recognizable face in the golf creator world. They went from culinary school to the breakout star of the internet invitational. Also one of the most influential voices in the adaptive golf community. Ladies and gentlemen, Chad, a boker, aka Chas 100. 100. I like the Chas of 100. How we doing, Chas?
Starting point is 00:22:45 Good to see you, my man. I've been seeing you everywhere lately. Yeah, you're busy. Dude, it's been crazy. Life's been absolutely unreal. I'm having fun. And I'm glad I'm riding the ride. By the way, just celebrated a birthday.
Starting point is 00:22:57 Two days ago, how? Happy belated. Thank you. What did you do? Do you want to say how old or not? I'm going to keep it. 29. Oh, that's a great age.
Starting point is 00:23:05 Oh, next year's a special way. Next year is special. That's why this year I kept a mellow. I rode my bike around Santa Barbara with a close friend that his birthday is on the same day. So we rode around San Barber on the beach. We had lunch and this super organic mellow day. Well, Sleazy is going to Santa Barbara as soon as we finish up here. You got any spots he should check out?
Starting point is 00:23:25 Oh, yeah. We've got to definitely go to Smy Kitchen. I'm going to write this down. Go. Yeah, you'll remember it. Yeah, I got a good memory. S.Y Kitchen, go to the Nella. Maddie's Tav.
Starting point is 00:23:36 And the best part about it, when it's like 9 o'clock at night and you want to call it, you go down the street to Coast Range. It's a bar. But you don't go there to get drinks. You go there to get donuts. Oh, they got a late-night donut? They got late-night donuts made to order. Brown butter glazed warm on the top.
Starting point is 00:23:55 Oh, unreal. Wow. I do sometimes get hungry. at night, you know what I mean? Yeah. Yeah. A little fresh-made donuts sounds kind of nice. Yeah, they're the best things out.
Starting point is 00:24:04 For some reason. All right. I'm going to all. I'm going to, I'm going to throw your name around like fucking Halloween candy. Dude, all you want. You'll be taking care of it. Hey, Chad sent me. I can't wait here out this goes.
Starting point is 00:24:13 That's why Kitchen Nulla, Maddie's Tav. What was the donut place? Chad sent me. Donate place was Co-Strange. Co-Strange? What a name. Who doesn't like a little strange. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:24 Yeah. There's country up there. It's all country. So everything's named like, like, cattle and stuff like that. We're here in Scottsdale. We got the gin
Starting point is 00:24:31 invitational. Yes, sir. Coming up, USGA, putting it on Desert Mountain. You're playing it this week. What can you tell us about it? Honestly,
Starting point is 00:24:40 I only know the people that are there, and there's some exciting news coming out with the app and stuff like that. It's kind of like blindsided. I'm going there tomorrow, hoping my golf games is there also. Your golf game's always there. I've seen you swing it.
Starting point is 00:24:53 Yeah, that is true. So just go out there and have a good time, and hope for the best. best. Yeah, from Desert Mountain. What's the name of that course?
Starting point is 00:24:59 You're playing? What is it? I forgot the Chihuahua course. Cherakawa. Chirikawa, Chihuahua, gold jacket, green jacket. Chiraka.
Starting point is 00:25:10 I show him tomorrow at the gate, be like, I'm looking for the Chihuahua course. That's probably not the first time that's happening. They're all hard up there because the outlaw is the only like easy name to remember.
Starting point is 00:25:19 It's absolutely unreal place up there, though. Yeah, it's like its own town. You can say you live at Desert Mountain and be like, cool. And then you get to the gate and your house is, 35 minutes from the front game. It's enormous.
Starting point is 00:25:29 Imagine having to go to the grocery store. It's like its own zip code. Yeah. Really. Was there eight of them? That's where the four ball is. I think there's eight now. We included because they got the par three now.
Starting point is 00:25:37 Oh, yeah. Is that considered Cape Creek? Cape Creek's like west of that. Yeah. Desert Mountains like its own thing. You just say I'm like, I'm from Desert Mountain or I live in desert. You know, it's like it. I mean, I think it has its own zip code.
Starting point is 00:25:48 Oh, that's wild. Yeah. It's a monster. But Chazzy, let's go back to the beginning. When did you start playing golf? It all came apart when I was like six, eight years old more or less. Yeah. The exact number.
Starting point is 00:25:59 My grandpa had PIN come over and like get some clubs made up for him. And my granddad goes, hey, I want a club for my grandson points at me. He had a hat saw sitting right there in the garage. They took the hat, saw it cut off the shaft, put a grip. And that was it. We went across the street, started hitting golf balls. And next thing I know I hit my grandpa on the shin with the ball. I started laughing.
Starting point is 00:26:22 but my dad did not think was funny. So I got in trouble, obviously. And ever since then, I kind of had like the niche, playing golf. And one day, I think I was like 12, junior golf started coming around. And my dad goes, Chaz, you kind of like need to find a sport that you want to play. And he goes, you're playing golf. It's an individual. The only person you're playing against is yourself.
Starting point is 00:26:45 I said, that's very true. So I started playing again. I was like, I'm beating normal-sized people at this game. I love it. So that was it. That's awesome. That's 12. So then you like, what, you kept playing junior golf high school?
Starting point is 00:26:57 Kept playing junior golf, high school, made varsity freshman year, stuff like that. And then college came around and kind of took a break. Where'd you go to school? I went the culinary arts in Italy. Yeah. So you quit golf, went over there to Italy. Yeah. Did not touch a club once while I was over there.
Starting point is 00:27:15 Talk to me about Italy. Yeah. How many years is that too? So I did a full like trimester with the city college like, go abroad and stuff like that. So I did that. Cooking, learning the lifestyle, going on different cuisine tours, going to taste wine, different regions.
Starting point is 00:27:32 It was unreal. People there are nice. And it was cool. Did you have like any cooking experience before they were like leading up or you're just like, screw it? I don't know what I want to do. I'm going to go to Italy. Kind of did.
Starting point is 00:27:44 Yeah. In high school, if you had a restaurant job, you were able to leave at 1130 instead of 2 o'clock. in my head, junior senior year, I'm like, sign me up for that. So I got a prep cook job. And I was just cutting potatoes, onions, and all that stuff for, like, the main chefs.
Starting point is 00:28:02 And I was like, this is kind of fun. And it makes a girl smile. It makes her friends smile. And I was like, let's keep doing it. Yeah, it makes the girls smile. Yeah. So you play golf and you can cook. I mean, that's pretty nice.
Starting point is 00:28:16 All right, before we get back to Chazzy, I want to tell you about Callaway. I have been flooding. I actually play the AI 150s, a little 66 at New Orleans Country Club this past week to slap around my man, heavy by Astero's. But I'm going to tell you about the new quantum irons, which feature a modern 360 undercut that delivers more flexure across the face. These things are absolutely incredible, easy to hit, go a long way, spin the proper amount, and get ready to experience a quantum leap in greens hit and a lot more looks at Bertie with the all-new Callaway Quantum Irons.
Starting point is 00:28:46 Now available at your favorite local retailer or at CallawayGoff.com. back to Chazzy. What's your, like, specialty in the kitchen? Anything flour and egg? Like I saw Grant the other week when I was on him, his channel. Salmon Putanesca is like my favorite hot dish to make. But, like, usually it's baked Alaska's cheesecakes, upside down cakes, gelato, all that stuff. Okay, Santa Punta Nesco?
Starting point is 00:29:15 Give it to a couple hillbillies right here. Yeah, yeah. Can you break that down for us? So it's like tomato sauce, onions, whole tomatoes, olives, salt pepper, a lot of garlic. And then you kind of like bring it to a boil. And then once it gets to like a certain temperature, you let it cool down and reduce, which kind of keeps the form of the whole cherry tomatoes. And then after that, you put it into like a big pan.
Starting point is 00:29:44 And when you want to use it, you pull it out, you heat it up. Then you cook a nice seed salmon, put some asparagus with it. I never know. Bam. God damn. How long were you, so how long was that school? The school went for like a solid year, but I was cooking for about 12. Oh, so you came back and we're doing that like full time?
Starting point is 00:30:03 Yeah, I went back full time. I was working at like really nice Michelin restaurants and high end, like one in the restaurant, that's my kitchen. I was a chef there for seven years. Oh, so they'll know you when I dropped out for sure. I better get that chef's table. It all kind of stopped when Josh Kelly kind of found. me and we found out YouTube could be a right path and play golf again, even though I was already
Starting point is 00:30:27 playing the adaptive tour. And I went up to my chef, I said, chef, I don't think I cook anymore. He goes, why? I'm going to go play golf. He goes, I've been waiting for you to say that because I believe in you. And he said, if you ever need another job, whatever, golf doesn't work out, come right back and put your apron on. So you were still playing golf like through this whole through time. Obviously, after Italy, you were still playing. came back and started playing golf. Yeah, and then Josh Kelly calls. By the way, if you don't follow Josh,
Starting point is 00:30:55 it's the whole one trick shots. Yeah. I mean, the guy's phenomenal. He went on Instagram, my Instagram live and said, come out and play Atlantic City Country Club. Went out and played and it was just like a hit. Like, we've known each other for three, four years. It had been history since.
Starting point is 00:31:10 I mean, y'all have such a cool relationship. Y'all's videos y'all do together. He picks you up, carries your around. Yeah, he's the man. WWE on the golf course. How do you find you, though? Were you, like, posting? Would you like into the creator world at that point?
Starting point is 00:31:22 We just followed each other. But did you have like a decent following before that? I had 4,000 followers. Yeah. So you were just like, yeah. So this was kind of by chance. Yeah, I was just like being Chas. And one day I was like, hey, I'm here in Philly.
Starting point is 00:31:36 I'm going to adaptive tournament, this and that. And he joins the live and goes, come on down. I'm right here in Jersey. So was that like the, if you had to like pinpoint when like the creator stuff, whatever you want to call it, social media, like took off, that's when I started like understanding like this is the good path and then filming with all the guys being with Josh and Callaway and that kind of came upon and obviously Bob and
Starting point is 00:32:02 Dave Portnoy all the bars school and Bob the sports guy kind of saw Chazzy and was like hey we want that guy I mean can you imagine when you got the hacksaw there and you get a you get a club saw and off put a grip on it you hit your grandpa on the shin that one day you'd be in a Callaway golf commercial Yeah. That's pretty wild. Yeah, there's days I can look back.
Starting point is 00:32:24 I look at this one thing of the house. It reminds me my old man. And I just look at it and say, hey, thank you. Like, I literally just thank that piece of monument. And that's like my happy place. That's so cool. And the commercial might be it. But like, I feel like the internet invitation was like the whole kind of golf world because I was so viewed.
Starting point is 00:32:44 What's your, is that the biggest like pinch me moment? Is there something that happened? maybe you met somebody or like a tour player knew who you were or whatever that you were like oh my god i can't believe this is real luck yeah definitely getting those phone calls like one from bob getting invited to the internet invitation or then definitely the phone call from callaway um because they were supporting me before they actually signed me giving me clubs and gave me a dial for the adaptive opens and then once alex you paid you gave me a call and said jazzy what do you think about joining the team i literally i was out of a
Starting point is 00:33:19 A golf event sitting in my hotel room and I threw my phone across the room and just started screaming. And then I go back to the front. I go, Alex, I'm sorry. To me to do that. I'm on. That's awesome. That means yes. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:32 That's probably my big pinpoint. And then this year, I think I saw you, like, they had the thing in the 16th hole, Phoenix at the WM, right? The night before they come out, like, the creators were out there. And like, then I saw you tournament, like, Zander. Like, some of these guys are all, like, they know you. Yeah, it's pretty awesome. Yeah. being able to hang out with all those guys and being able to call my friends.
Starting point is 00:33:51 How did you hit the shot out that night? I hit it. I lost by inch. No. I lost by inch to... Size doesn't matter. The guy from the office. Brian Baumgartner.
Starting point is 00:34:02 Yeah, he beat me by one inch. He hit it 10-5. I hit 10-5. He hit 10-4. Damn it, Brian, you've had everything. That's right. What Chazzy have this moment? By the way, speaking to, like, the tour players and stuff, like,
Starting point is 00:34:12 Zander told me y'all had a great time Callaway shoot. Yeah. You are messing with each other quite a bit. Oh, yeah. He loved the new Chazzy golf ball. He goes, hey, it's your size. I saw that. You got your own logo now.
Starting point is 00:34:24 That's sweet. I like that. God, I hope I find some in the shit one day when I'm playing. No, you won't find him in the shit, probably. They'll be in the fair way. What's the game like right now? Speaking of the gin invitation, what kind of handicap we carry in? It depends what T's I play.
Starting point is 00:34:40 What T's each you normally play? So at home, at my home course, I'm playing $6,500, which is the tips. Oh, yeah. I'm sitting at one, two. Okay. If I go down to the Adaptive T's, which is anywhere from 58 to 6,000, I'm sitting at a plus two. Oh, nice. Okay.
Starting point is 00:34:56 So the adaptive opens, that's like a round where they'll play you from? Yeah. And aren't you, you're the number one in the U.S., right? But there's a dude from like, with rankings. Somewhere in Europe that's. Yeah, Brendan Lawyer. I'm actually going to challenge him this year. I got invited to play in the G4D Invitational with DP World Tour.
Starting point is 00:35:14 So going out there, it's, uh, Where's the Ryder Cup again? I dare be a manor. Ireland, yeah. Yeah, it's going to be there. So I'm looking for the battling against him at his own home country since he's always came out here and battled me. So it's going to be a good one. Before we get back to Chas, a quick note from the USGA.
Starting point is 00:35:34 The future of American Golf is now. Launched in 2023, the U.S. national development program is the United States first unified pathway designed to guide top junior players all the way to the highest levels of the sport. from competitive junior golf to amateur and eventually professional play, the USAGA is helping chart that journey. The program identifies, trains, develops, funds, and supports the nation's most promising young talent, regardless of their cultural, geographic, or financial background. It's all part of the USDA's commitment to keeping American golf at the forefront of the global game. With national junior teams for boys and girls, an elite amateur team, and 17 state junior teams now in place,
Starting point is 00:36:14 plus a national young professional team on the way, the impact is already being felt. And in 2025 alone, the USDA awarded over 100 grants to junior golfers in need, helping cover the cost of coaching, travel, tournaments, and more. Talent is everywhere, and opportunity should be too. Learn more at usGA.org slash USNDP. Now, back to Chazy.
Starting point is 00:36:38 What's low round ever? Three under par. Nice. Home course. Yeah? Yeah. I heard you had the course record somewhere Josh told me. You started off like birdie, birdie hole in one.
Starting point is 00:36:48 Yeah, birdie, birdie hole in one. And I miss two putts for par inside five feet. Oh. And I shot eight under. Par three course? Part three course. Woodmont Country Club a day before the U.S. Adaptive Open. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 00:37:03 So it's funny. It's funny, too. So this, last year, I got a hole in one at the Woodmont Part III course day before. in 2000, 2022, day after the first adaptive open, I go Pinehurst, course three, hole two, dunk it.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Damn, how many you have? That's three. Three? Nice. Yeah, they come in spurts. And I don't know why. It's always around the adaptive open. When is the adaptive open this year?
Starting point is 00:37:31 July. July, where at? Do they move it? It's at Woodmont again this year. Then they move it the Oregon next year. Where at Oregon? Do you know? I don't exactly.
Starting point is 00:37:40 I should know. I saw it in the left, they just did like eight, they released eight sites. Yes. Oh, nice. Coming up. Dude, out of Dare Manner thing is going to be all. I don't have you seen pictures of this. Like, they call it like the Augusta of Europe.
Starting point is 00:37:49 It looks unreal. Yeah, in the pictures. You should stay in the castle there. Yeah, they have a castle. I hope so. Yeah, that'd be soon. They're having me out, so we never know.
Starting point is 00:37:56 Go back to the internet invitational because I think it blew everyone's expectations away. Like, you know, it's going to be cool. You get all you creators together. No idea what it's going to do. But the amount of views it did, how much support it got. Were you even like kind of shocked at the end of it? After the event, I was like, this was absolutely unbelievable.
Starting point is 00:38:16 This is going to be something in the books that everybody's going to remember. And the waiting game hit. Like after the event, I was like, once it coming out, when's it coming out? And then once it came out, it just went. It was amazing. I mean, how long was it before it came out when y'all finished filming before it came out? It was like a huge, I mean, the episodes, weren't there like three hours? I think it was three.
Starting point is 00:38:38 months after where it was? You had to sit on it for a while. Yeah. I mean, hold that. Couldn't say anything, but that was the best part I thought.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Yeah, I mean, you got a great run at it. You know, Sarah played great together? We sure did. Yeah. Let's be honest,
Starting point is 00:38:52 you carried her. No, I'll give her, she hit some great shots, but I didn't hit great shots. Yeah. Who do you think, like,
Starting point is 00:38:59 when you sit back and look at all you creators, like, who's a guy? You're like, that guy can really play. Roger Steele. He smashes it. It's a horror.
Starting point is 00:39:07 Roger Steele, he needs the credit he gets absolute unreal in the MC job with TGL. And then his golf game just tops it off to begin with the start. Yeah, he can move it. Yeah, I see it's like YouTube or not, it's like Instagrams and he hits like, I mean, like 190 ball speed type of thing. Yeah, it's at like 360 or something. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:28 28 club head speed. I mean, the man can move it. Yeah. Who else did you like find, I'm sure you knew a lot of them when you went to internet invitation, but who did you find anyone that was like? you're super close with now after they didn't know before or that were surprised maybe by how cool they were it's a good question because everybody was awesome bobby bobby i got to get a little bit closer with bobby from good good uh one of the practice rounds we decided to go and get fishing
Starting point is 00:39:56 poles and just fish on 18 right there with the big lake and just being able to fish with him and be off grid no phones nothing that that's that was epic were you on lukewan's team or were you on the opposite when he oversle. Oh, hell, yeah. Sleep in longer, Luke. That was that scripted? No. Are we in the trust tree right now?
Starting point is 00:40:15 That happened. That was real? Yeah, because the day before he slept in to our YouTube match. I can understand. I get it. Sometimes he missed the alarm. It happens to everybody. I've done it.
Starting point is 00:40:24 I've got to be honest. I've done it. Ten million times. My question, y'all are staying like right there at the court. Where is his team, be like, hey, uh, he's off in 15 minutes. Maybe someone should go check on them. People still in his cottage. There's other people.
Starting point is 00:40:38 there. That's what Rodman was the help. I see both sides. Totally see both sides. There is two sides. There is two sides. 100%, but mistakes happen. You got a team. Like this is a whole team element to this. Like, yeah, where's my he's your horse? He's the guy. That's like, go beat his ass.
Starting point is 00:40:53 15 minutes ago, it's like, uh, anybody seen Luke? Maybe we should go check on it. Yeah, after everyone started to go the first tea and stuff like that. Yeah, I want to go check on a little bit. Yeah, that was the best thing that could happen though for the thing by the way, all the drama and everybody talking about it. It was buzz. You need a little controversy.
Starting point is 00:41:09 It was an awesome event. And the fact that with everything that happened, with Beef passing away, and the fact that he was on the winning team, I mean, that was just... Hit the first drive, last five. Yeah, so cool. What a sweetheart of a man, that guy was.
Starting point is 00:41:21 Yeah, Beef, man. So when we're leaving Springfield, something happened with my flight and the ticket. This is a small airport. Something was going on. Beef's flight was... He got his ticket, and I'm trying to check my bag in.
Starting point is 00:41:37 I probably stood at the counter for 45 minutes. He already had his ticket, different flight, everything. He stood there and waited for me to make sure that I was okay to get on my flight. And then both of us, he's on the plane next to me. And looking over, both of the flights got delayed and resurfaced. Yeah. So that's a great man. Everybody raised by him.
Starting point is 00:42:02 Beef would have checked on Kwan if he was on his team. Damn right. Oh, 100%. We wouldn't have let him slip through. He would have pulled him out. Yeah, we only got to meet or I only got to meet him at the writer guy He's like so nice, like takes his hat off Yeah, that's up every time
Starting point is 00:42:13 Yeah I did their pod at the PJ Championship and he was he was on it then I mean just the nicest there's no one's gonna say a bad word about beef No But that was cool and it sounds like we're bringing it back Internet Invitational 2 Yes sir The invite's already been thrown out to LeBron
Starting point is 00:42:28 I mean it looks like it could be even bigger than the first one That would be helpful That'd be cool Do you want to be on bronze team You want to volunteer for that? you how the height differential. Well, you're 4-4? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:42:41 He's 6-8? Yeah. There you go. A unit. A unit. I bet you hit it straighter and better. I bet you hit it a lot straighter and a lot better than he does. Oh, 100%.
Starting point is 00:42:50 I mean, do you ever miss a fairway? Seriously, the whole internet invitation, I don't think you have. The whole internet invitation, no, but yes, I do eventually miss fairways. I have the word sometimes, but there's times I'm 80%, 85% in the fairway. All right. nitpick your game right here because we all have things about our game we'd like to be better what would chas say i need to get better at this 100 yards yeah 100 yards i cannot throw it right now oh no i don't know it's like that just that one number if it's 85 it's a dart if it's a dart if it's
Starting point is 00:43:21 a hundred well let's not lay it up to a hundred chas i don't know what it is chas one hundred and i came in him yeah i changed that to chas eighty five let me give me a little advice here okay you 105's fine if you have 100 and you hit it to 105, that's 15 feet. You're a pretty good putter. That is true. Yeah. Nothing wrong with hitting it to 15 feet, Chas. There is it.
Starting point is 00:43:40 You can handle those. I can make it too for 15 feet. Damn right. I seen the putter. I saw the putter on stilts too. Oh, when was that? That was like one of the first things I saw maybe. That was a couple months ago.
Starting point is 00:43:53 Like, I think it was November more or less. Okay. And we've been wanting to do this video for the longest time playing on stilts. and we were all the way up in Philly and we had to go down to Jersey the film the next day we're like, should we get stilts in the city
Starting point is 00:44:11 where there's like more of a chance to finding stilts? Ah, no, it's going to be all right. Nah, we'll get silts. We'd probably stop at 15 different locations on the way home and there's three spots in Philly that had them.
Starting point is 00:44:24 None of the spots had them. So we had to get some random. We posted on our Instagram story, hey, who's got stilts and somebody responded who we got the stilts they brought them over no shit they brought us the stilts that's incredible where does one go to shop for stilts uh the painter's store hmm oh they need them to go up it's like yeah or windows or some shit makes sense okay who is um
Starting point is 00:44:50 who's your favorite person you filmed with in youtube golf and who is someone you really want to i love filming kai choose too sure i love filming with bob and the brus i love filming with bob and the mine bros. Yeah. Those two guys are three guys are really awesome. I can't say Josh Kelly because I say Josh Kelly so much. Who do I want to film with next? I really want to play with John Daly.
Starting point is 00:45:17 Okay. Yeah, because I think I'm the John Daly of Adaptive Golf. I like that. Did you see him just eat shit in the desert this past week? You might be in the ER for a while. It's just like, who! And he just disappeared out of the screen. And did you see his caddy.
Starting point is 00:45:32 His catty came running out. him and his guy he went down too right it was like a drowning infant he just jumped head first into the pool to save him yeah that's a good cat bro you ain't you ain't getting john daly up by just that's peter he's trying to get paid that's his meal ticket right there need johnny boy well all right we need to work on that that'd be good right you got the long like past parallel back swing stuff too how far do you hit it like normal not if you're like you're playing i i don't talk to 240 240 240 260 with rollout yeah i mean that's move from 6,000 yards that's a problem. Yeah, it is.
Starting point is 00:46:04 You can play from $6,000. Yeah, sometimes I take three without the bag for adaptive events. I try to do that on. You can find a hundred yard club. Take that out, find a hundred yard club. Just get on a monitor. Yeah. Like a full swing hundo. Or I just, I need to work on it.
Starting point is 00:46:17 Yeah. We all do. All right, before we get back to Chazzy, I want to tell you about Shady Rays, and my goodness gracious, do we look good? And if you're serious about your golf game, your vision on the course matters. That's where Shady Ray's golf collection comes in. And I'm not exaggerating. They feel every bit as premium.
Starting point is 00:46:33 as the expensive brands I've owned. These are built for the course. Their color rush lens tech enhances contrast that helps you track the ball in the air, read greens better, and cut harsh glare. With lightweight frames that stay put through your swing, there's no slipping when you're lining up a putt. Meanwhile, I'm wearing shady rays everywhere to the lake on the boat at the game and straight to the teapox.
Starting point is 00:46:54 Like whatever happens, happens. Because if I drop them in the lake, they replace them. Knock them off the cart path, they replace them. Sit on them day one, they replace them. them lost or broken, they send you a new pair with their lost and broken protective program. Over 300,000 five-star reviews and millions of people have switched. If you're golfing on the water or just outside every day, you need shades that actually perform.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Head to Shadyrays.com. Check out their golf collection and use code subpar for 50% off two or more pairs of polarized sunglasses and grab a pair with lost and broken protection. Try for yourself at Shadyrays.com and look as sick as we. do. How much is life changed since all this has come about? Internet invitation or everything. I mean, I feel like your world is flipped upside down.
Starting point is 00:47:42 It's busy. Yeah. It's really busy. It's amazing. I absolutely love it. Not only for myself, like you were saying earlier, for the adaptive golf. Because there's so many swings out there that need to be seen and so many opportunities that people are doing.
Starting point is 00:47:58 And I'm helping showcase that. So it warms me up for that. And then also I'm just thankful for myself and striving. How often we travel on? I'm like almost maybe a week home a month, two weeks. Week home a month? Yeah, it's busy. Hey, do it while you can.
Starting point is 00:48:16 Do it long. I found out a technique to fly now. It's the best thing ever. Oh, God. I got this little gadget that goes in front of the seat, my front seat, and clipping on to the front seat. so I have a footrest. Oh, it clips into the front of the seat in front of you.
Starting point is 00:48:34 The front one, because I can't touch the ground. So I got a foot rest. Oh, so you got a foot rest. I got a foam chair, like a little mat I sit on. You're in, like, in bed. And then I always bring in AC fans because it's hotter than hot in airplanes. I think I saw this today they announced United is going to do this thing where it's in coach. You can buy the whole row, and this little thing plops up, and it's basically like a bed.
Starting point is 00:48:58 And they'll bring you like pillow and like it. I saw they're going to start making planes where you could stand. I saw that too But you're jammed in like It looked like the one I saw You're like jammed in like It looks miserable by the way Imagine what I saw
Starting point is 00:49:09 I mean you're like elbow to elbow Imagine your seat But you're like at an airplane But you're just standing I'm out on that I think it was like some They cheaper ticket They get more people on the plane
Starting point is 00:49:21 type thing It looked awful Yeah Space is spirit I'm out on that And it lands like 50% of the time Yeah perfect Yeah so it's a good deal
Starting point is 00:49:30 If you want to stand on both feet, it's an extra 50 bucks. Yeah, it's a good deal. But dude, like this year, you're at WM this year, which you told me it was your second time. I didn't see it last year, but like just walking, like we were hanging out for a little bit, walking, heading to birds nest, whatever. Like, the amount of people that recognize, you know, it's got to be like, it's mind blowing for you. It's mind blowing, but I also love it because it knows I'm doing a good job. And you're, they were great to all of them, by the way. Your attitude is unbelievable. Like, I mean, which is, by the way, it's how it should be. I mean, you're just so positive. You're so nice to
Starting point is 00:49:58 everyone. I saw you WM and then I'm walking up the back steps to the Riviera Country Club or the Genesis and there's Chazzy with a transfusion in his hand. Hold in court. Go! I love it. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:09 Absolutely love it, man. You're the best. Before we let you get out of here, we've got to do the E-9. I know you got a party to get to tonight, which is your specialty. You got a big party. Is that what you drink? That or a ranch water? Ranch water, yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:21 I like both those things. Chazis. In Chazganistan. Can I just get a Chazzy? Chazzy? It's just a Chazoo. Yeah, that's when you know you made it and then name it. You and Arnie.
Starting point is 00:50:31 Got your own drinks. All right. As far as I know, you're a single man. So we're going to start this off with Celebrity Crush. Bella Hadid. That was quick, too. Are you a single man? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:45 Okay. We got a lot of female followers here. She's going to have seven. She's off the table, but you win the adaptive open and you go get on all the shows and all the stuff. You're going to slide into one DM. It can't be her. Who you want?
Starting point is 00:50:59 Why can't be her? It could be, but he already said her. Can't be her? Emily Rajowski. Radikowski? Yeah. Yeah. All right.
Starting point is 00:51:10 That's good. Okay. I noticed you like dark hair. Yes. I'm starting a sense of type here. Okay. I like it. All right.
Starting point is 00:51:18 Slees fire away. All right. You kind of already answer this, so it may be done now. But they hire you at Augusta. You're going to make the champions dinner. But you get to pick whatever you want. And you kind of already said it. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Or you can pick the meal you want to eat, I guess. He wins the master. He gets to set the menu. I get to set the menu. You can cook it too if you want. I love that you rub your belly as you start to get ready to think about this. Just all desserts. Bruchetta, the start.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Okay. It's got to be a bomb cheese, like, bomb imported from Italy, tomatoes from Italy. And then we'll start second course, second appetizer course with a French onion soup. Third, we'll do a brinsino fish with like olive oil, white wine, and lemon caper sauce. See, this is a classic establishment, yeah. New York for the entree. God damn, we're going to be full at the end of the day.
Starting point is 00:52:20 And then salted banana pie. Salted banana pie. I'm not familiar with that. It sounds nice. Okay. I'm going to try it now. They got that at S-Y's or whatever, S-Y Kitchen, they got that? No, they don't.
Starting point is 00:52:35 Okay, I'll go somewhere else for it. And Chazzy's for drinks. Oh, yeah, Co-Srange. You get those there, too. Okay. All right. Who can handle their booze better on the golf course? You or the legend Fat Perez.
Starting point is 00:52:50 I heard this would be a battle. That would be a battle, but I think Fat Perez will come on top. Yeah? I think so. I'll give them the benefit of that. Bobby Burger gave you some credit. He said he can go toe-to-to-to-to with anyone. I know, that's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 00:53:05 I'll go the toe, the toe with Perez. Or take that back. I'll go toe the toe with Perez. Yeah, he's not, you got to change it. Perez. Yes. Looking good. You heard that.
Starting point is 00:53:14 It's Perez now. We'll go battle, battle, battle, and I think he'll get the last one on me. All right. I like to watch it. Every picture I see of him posted is up, Mike, he loses another tan or something. Dude, him and Missing up? Yeah, looking good. Mason nut.
Starting point is 00:53:30 I think lost like 80 pounds or something like that. Yeah. 80? Damn. Good for them. Yeah, just Perez now. All right, this is like, I just saw this on your Instagram when I was scrolling through way back
Starting point is 00:53:40 and you were jumping off stage, being thrown off stage, by the way, at a Waka Flaka Flame concert and, like, crowd serving. I actually didn't know this, like, how, and then I saw a picture of you with him. What's the backstory? My buddy was in the music industry,
Starting point is 00:53:53 and he would always throw shows and obviously they gave me on-stage tickets. And I was just kind of kicking it, having a drink, just chilling. Next to you know, walk and flocking points at me he comes over here he goes chasie and i go over there and we just start like parting on stage and he goes you want a crowd surf it's walka flaka asking me the crowd surf i was like sure why not just make sure security guards are down there if they don't catch me
Starting point is 00:54:19 and next thing you know walka grabs one arm my other belt loop his other buddy grabs my arm my belt loop and i just went sailing incredible yeah it was awesome it was awesome God. It's like your first Instagram post or something or like close to it. I was like coming out the gates. Hot. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:54:38 I didn't have you as a Waka guy. But now I know. All right. A couple of mine we already got to. So bucket list golf course you want to play. Number one. Augusta. There you have it.
Starting point is 00:54:59 Yeah. You got to get it hot on. Hey, by the way, Augusta needs to make adaptive masters. Just saying it now. Oh, there you go. You'd be the spokesman for this. Chas 100. Right there.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Leave the charge. One hundred. You got a nice hat on. You play there? Players. Sawgrass? Yeah. How we do?
Starting point is 00:55:14 On 17. We mid-par. Solid. Yeah. Solid. The green, two, but nobody do. Easy. There's nothing in it.
Starting point is 00:55:22 All right. This is another one I saw on your Instagram. I should you know how long you're in concussion protocol after the dome shot on the flop over the head from I believe Maddie. I was going to show you something else. Pass that ID. Hold on. Let me get your ID for you.
Starting point is 00:55:35 Get that. I thought you were looking at a different. Post. No, the one where you guys were doing flops over each other. She night. That's my room key. She, you want that too? Oh, you have this. I thought this was fleasers. No, it's got a lot of cash in it. No, he's got way too much cash for mine.
Starting point is 00:55:48 He's got zero in it. Same as yours. No, it's all cards. Oh, shit. Was this right after it? You decided to go get your ID pictures like the day after? Is this honestly from that or no? No, I know my car. You see this? Yeah, if you're listening, I mean, he's got a head,
Starting point is 00:56:04 he's got a wrap around. Like a money. Rolled my car six times. I was got ejected out of the driver suit window. Damn. No shit. And then you were like, this is a good time to go get my picture. And I had to wear that headbandage for like three weeks.
Starting point is 00:56:17 So I need an ID. I'm leaving. So I went into the DMV and took my photo. So when you go to a place and you show your idea, they take like three glances. Yeah. At first I think like, do they believe my height? But no, it's my photo. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:56:30 It's good for sympathy, though. You get pulled over by Costco. Like, look, dude, I had a bad run at one point. The head case flop. flop shot. Dude, it was pretty, like, it had some heat. That had some heat.
Starting point is 00:56:41 I had a big lump. It was new year. What's the name? They hit the shot. Maddie Poole. Maddie Poole. They were doing like flop over the head, try to make it,
Starting point is 00:56:50 had some close runs. And then the last one posted was literally a four head, four head to forehead. Four of the ball. Do you guys shut it down after that? You didn't. Oh, yeah. We shut it.
Starting point is 00:56:59 Oh, I said I ain't sitting in front of that ball anymore. Dude, it was a missile. A missile. Yeah, I had a big lump probably for like, couple hours. I went back to my buddy's house. He didn't have like ice bags. And I was like, there's a big piece of frozen steak right there. I got the steak and I just put it on my forehead. She had to be like mortified. She had to be mortified. Yeah. We had to wait like four weeks to post it because she didn't want to post it. I was like, this is going to blow up. We need the post it.
Starting point is 00:57:29 Yeah. You kill the most loved man on the golf internet. It's going to be tough sled for you. Chaz is tough. He can handle it. Yeah, I handled it. I thought that was your picture was after that. A couple hours later, I was right back at Elfonte and catch. Good man. Good man. Two good spots, by the way, right there. All right, my last one, this is, we do this occasionally on our serious XM show.
Starting point is 00:57:51 We're here asking for a friend where someone submits a question. This comes from your good friend, Joshua Kelly. And he just wants to know Chazzy, how do you measure gimmies? It's kind of fucked up, in my opinion. Yeah. Okay, so like... Inside the leather is not the same for everyone. If it's the length of Chaz, it's good.
Starting point is 00:58:11 Like your whole body? Yeah, so like... Four feet, four inches. Hey, that's pretty far. If that water bottles, the hole and the balls right here, I'll lay down. If it's inside the length of me, it's good. Josh, you're best up, man.
Starting point is 00:58:22 I thought it was going to be an inside the leather thing. That's a, hey, you're a generous... Wow, four feet four. That's very easy. Yeah. I'll obviously be up at that point when I'm giving you. do that. Okay. That's beautiful. That's good. Thanks, Josh. Got me. Do that at the invitational. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Chazzy. You're the best, man. Thank you so much for coming in here.
Starting point is 00:58:45 And also, what you do for golf, man. You make it so fun. You're so positive. Love everything you do, man. Yep. Keep out of it. We'll be following along watching. Chaz 100. Chaze out later. Love it. All right. That was an awesome one with our man, Chaz 100. Make sure you follow him on social media. Such a great dude. Man, I met him a few years ago. Just love the guy. He lights up every room when he walks into it.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Just so much fun to be around. He was buzzing around grass clippings this week. I had a scooter out there flying around. And then on that party hole was it 15 where they have the party hall. Yeah, Chazzy was at him on the mic. He was like standing up on chairs yelling up. We went over and shotgun to long drink with him or whatever it was. He was having himself a good time.
Starting point is 00:59:30 But yeah, he's just a guy like you're around. Yeah. You have fun, no matter what. Yeah, I love the guy. He actually was, I believe, on the mic for the draft as well. That's right. Yeah, it was feature. Feature out there at the clip this past week.
Starting point is 00:59:43 Nice game, too. A little drama at the Grass League draft, by the way. Yeah, dude. It's like. Tony Magnetchi, stand up, brother. Bad boy in death row type of stuff back in the day. Muske's Dallas Horseman. Some good drama.
Starting point is 00:59:55 Get in the Octagon. You need it. We need a good league needs some drama. You know what I mean? So stirring it up. All right. That was a lot of fun. week thanks to all of our sponsors we'll talk to you next week on subpar
