All right, here we go. Welcome back to Golf Subpar with Colt Nost and Drew Stoltz.
Let me just start this off by saying, Sleeze, God bless America.
Eight days in Japan. Beautiful country, but it's good to be home.
Bald Eagles, big trucks, football, all the cool shit. Welcome back. Welcome back. Back to your native land.
We'll get to the golf here in a second. Coolest thing in Japan you did outside the golf course. Go.
Walking around Tokyo, just we got to spend basically a day and a half there. That was, I mean, the city's
insane, most popular city, most populated city in the world, if you count just the outskirts,
37 million people.
I think I saw mostly all of them.
Yeah.
But just the food over there, the culture, everyone is so nice, which was a breath of fresh air.
How do they do that?
I mean, they're so helpful.
They see their subways or their trains.
Like, they go in like single file lines.
And it looks like it's like an elementary school with a teacher there.
They're just all, and it's clean.
I don't know how to do it.
Yeah.
They don't really do tipping over there, which is kind of a nice thing.
Beautiful. How do I move there?
Yeah, some places add in 10% to your check, but it's like, I looked going over there,
like some people considered insulting to be tipped. I'm like, well, they don't in America.
That's what I'm going to start doing here when they put the thing in front of my face,
like gratuity and it starts at 22% of like, look, out of respect for you, I'm not going to take.
Yeah, 20%, now that's insulting. That's what they think over here.
That's me looking out for you. I don't want you to feel like you need this handout.
So I will opt to not tip. Let's do that going forward.
It was awesome. So I got a couple of sumo wrestling exhibitions that I saw.
I learned also that it's not sumo season over there right now.
So there's no matches going on.
The guys have to rest up a little bit.
But the second night, our second gala we had for the Asia Pacific Amateur, the big man, the best of all time.
Most matches ever won, most championships ever won.
He's a Yoko Zuno level, which you can't go any higher than that in sumo wrestling.
Of course, everyone knows that.
Hakuo show.
The big show.
He came and did a little demonstration, brought six of his trainees, six of his little minions over,
and put on a little show for us.
It was cool, but Hakuo, he's the man.
What kind of beef are we talking about on the big show?
How many pounds are we talking four bills?
350 to 400-ish.
Solid.
Like it would be a great nose guard.
Yeah, he, they're...
Put him at nose in the league.
Amanda Ballionis and I, she was like, we were talking about,
she's like, I mean, why are these people not offensive linemen?
Yeah, dude, you're perfect 3-3-5.
I was like, I'm sure they've probably tried it.
Yeah, I would go out of that.
You got to be able to, there's some fast dudes in the novella,
despite how big they are.
Look, no further than the game, Monday night game.
Yes.
I'm a big man with the pick.
That was incredible.
Picking up, by the way,
16, almost 16 miles an hour on his top speed.
It was incredible that right before that they were talking about how,
because he tackled Travis Kelsey,
how his brother is one of Taylor Swift's backup dancers.
Yeah, it's like you just tackled my boss.
My boss's boyfriend or whatever.
Yeah.
But, no, it was awesome over in Japan.
Asia Pacific Amateur Championship.
This is the fourth year I've done it, 15th year of the tournament.
Tahoe Club, Gotimba, over outside of Tokyo.
Absolutely gorgeous.
At the base, as I said during our last show, of Mount Jeff Fujimoto.
Only could see Mount Fuji the first couple of days because we had a ton of fog and a ton of rain over there.
I believe for the week, seven inches of rain.
It was a little soupy over there, but the golf course was phenomenal.
And the favorite going in, the highest ranked player in the field.
Winnie Ding, former Arizona State Sun Devil,
had a one-by-one over his countryman,
was able to two-putt on the last for par after a clutch birdie on 17
to win the championship.
But with that, comes an invitation to the Masters and the Open Championship.
But Winnie Ding, as already said, he is turning them down.
He has turned professional.
He's going to have DP World Tour status in 2025,
thanks to the GAP system on the DP World Tour.
he's going to win that.
He's the fifth ranked amateur in the world.
And so he'll be teaming up on the DP World Tour next year.
What kind of dummy would turn down an invite to the master?
I think he's the first one to turn it down since 2007.
You got to be a real dumb dumb to do that.
He's off and running.
It's crazy to think that this is the path that he laid out.
This was what he was hoping to achieve.
I want to go over here.
I'm going to get the DP World Tour car.
I'm a term professional.
He's done it.
But to think that he could be at ASU right now alongside Preston Sumerase is number one
and PJ Tour, Jose Leigh, Bay, who we just had on,
in the US Amateur who's number two in PJ,
who are you,
and you could throw Winnie in there.
And I mean,
they're still stacked even without him,
but with him,
like that would be,
I mean,
that's a juggernaut of a squad.
He's a hell of the player,
man.
I've been following him
the last three or four years.
It's hard to believe
he's only 20 years old,
but he's a talent.
He's going to be a force
to be reckoned with
in the pro division,
at the pro level.
But congratulations to him.
I know it wasn't probably the easiest.
He was emotional when they handed him
the trophy afterwards.
This is the one he wanted.
He said,
no matter what he was,
he was going to play this championship,
was going to put off turning pro to make sure he got to
one last chance. He's playing it four years.
He's gotten better every single year.
Lost in the playoff last year,
so there was only one direction to go,
and that was to win the title,
and he did it, man.
Four straight rounds of 67.
Yep.
Know the name.
It won't be too long before you started hearing him.
Over here, he is a hell of a talent,
and you talked about the big sumo guy,
the show.
You missed, I assume you were traveling.
The Bo Show, trying to get it.
Yeah.
Beau Hossler trying to get it done at the Sanderson, alongside Keith Mitchell, by the way,
and then Kevin U sneaks up and ends up winning anything.
I don't know how much you got to catch that, but between that happening and Corned Ferry Tour
Finals, which came down to the last hole, some crazy implications on that hole.
It was a sweet, like, Sunday afternoon for the fall where you don't really get the biggest
golf.
There was some drama going on in the golf world.
There always is in the Corn Ferry Tour finals.
Noah Goodwin had to sit around.
SMU Mustang had to sit around and wait two hours to see if he was going to be on the PGA tour
or not.
Alistair Dockertie, who I've played some golf with here in Scottsdale.
He's a barstool athlete.
I mean, heartbreaking for him.
Shot 68 to final round.
Needed a two-way tie for second.
Finished in a three-way tie for second because I had to have just one of two guys miss a putt.
It was like 12 feet and 7 feet.
These weren't like, I mean, the 12-footer alone, the odds are below 50%
but for both from them.
I was watching that, and they'd explained it out on the broadcast.
Like, my hands were sweating as I was watching this.
I was like, oh, my God.
To be in the house and have your fate, your lifelong dream of
on the PJ tour come to two guys that aren't you and they both got a hoop i mean if i'm no a
good one i'd be like there's no like come on both going in probably slim chances then they do it and
it flipped the whole thing it was a hell of a finish it's exciting man lives change in that event
brayden thornerberry brain thorpeberry who just became he played on the walker cup team in 2017
steward haggistad lifetime amateurs to take him out of the equation braden thornernernery
now is the ninth and last one to earn a pjr j tour card from that walker cup team pretty
while. I mean, that's a loaded squad. And also, like, I mean, he was a world beer. Number one
amateur won 11 times at Ole Miss set their record. He got his sponsor's exemption at the 20,
I think 16 FedEx and finished fourth as an amateur. Like, he was the guy that there's no can't
miss guys, but he was the guy labeled as the can't miss guy to see him kind of hang around,
see other guys that he'd been beating his whole life, kind of pass him up and now to be out there.
That was cool. He shot 66, what, bogey-free 66 to fly around on that golf course, which you played
for that good, good thing. And it was windy. The nine under par,
won the golf tournament. That place is a beast. Yeah, I'm surprised they got to nine under,
honestly. I'm curious to know how many shuttle rides they got because it looks impossible to walk.
I rode in a cart the whole time, but that golf course is tough. Fairways are narrow.
It is a hell of a test, but congrats to Bray and Thorbury and all 30 graduates who will be
heading to the PGA tour next year. Exciting stuff for them. They're going to have a big 20-25.
It's cool to see. Kevin Yu, who also went to Arizona State, member at Whist Brock,
I've gotten know him a little bit over the last couple of years. Such a good deal.
He's funny, super nice, can smash it, clutched up big time.
He had a 20-footer in regulation on the 18th, then goes out and Bertie's the first toll after
Bo was looking for a little TIO relief.
Yeah, yeah.
It's dead stymie behind the tree.
Like the worst break in his, it's a bad drive, but like to have literally nothing, neither side.
Like dead center, you couldn't place it in a more devastating spot.
As for TIO.
As for TIO twice.
I blame him zero for that.
Just some of these drops that I see take place on the PJ tour and the way guys,
can convince rules officials like, yeah, this is the shot I'm going to hit.
I'm going to hit it 10 feet off the ground for 242 yards and then it's going to chase up there
and that grandstands in my way.
Like, it's crazy.
So I don't blame him one bit.
I think they made the right call and not giving it to him.
But asking for it and asked for it twice, it's like, I got no issue with this, dude.
Like, this is a pretty big moment.
And I've seen what I believe to be more outrageous drops than that.
Yeah, it never hurts to ask.
And like I said, I wasn't there.
But just watching on TV, if he would have gotten a drop from there.
That would have been mayhem.
And I even think that would have been tough as a player, just being like, I mean, I'm dead behind this tree.
Well, you know, if you go on to win, they'd be like, you shouldn't.
Like, that would be all that was talked about.
A hundred percent.
Even if he got relief, knocked on the green, two putter for par.
I think there would have been a lot of discussion whether he should have gotten ready.
To get into the playoff and then he goes on and win.
But the fact that he pitched out, stone the wedge, like that huge props to him.
I was a little shocked.
He asked for a second opinion.
But hey, you know, it never hurts to ask.
Yeah.
But it was an interesting situation.
Like I said, we weren't there, so we didn't get to see exactly.
We just saw what we saw on TV.
But it was wild.
I've seen some crazy drops in my day, but just being over in Japan and not knowing exactly what was going on and then seeing the clip on Twitter.
I'm like, oh, yes, good thing they did not give that to him.
It worked out better, I think, for both.
The pitched out and made par still had a chance in the playoff because could you imagine Twitter streets?
Golf Twitter streets would have been running a muck.
There would have been some outrage people.
Also, tip of the cap, Keith Mitchell playing some great golf, devastating ending to the middle of the, hits the fairway, does the hard part, hits the middle of the green, you're like, okay, he's got a chance to win, but no matter what, you know, he's going to at least have a chance at a playoff and then the three putt there. After putting it really nicely, just couldn't it, fairways out the end. But it was like visor on visor crime out there.
I was going to, I was like, somebody's going down. It was almost cannibalism. I was going to ask, do you feel a little guilty for putting the tweet, little post out there on social media talking about how it's a huge day for the visor guys.
Why would I feel guilty for rooting on my guys that are supporting the brand?
Because neither of them won.
Yeah, but I wasn't rooting for them to lose.
I was trying to spark one of them to victory.
It would have been tough to see one of them take the other one down, though,
because you got a soft spot for both of them.
But they were the best looking, by the way.
They were.
Goes without saying.
And I'll tell you what else is the best looking.
There you go.
Red, white and blue, like SMU, also RLX, which is the official outfitter of the United States
Ryder Cup team, the best shirts in the business, pants, everything.
You know, these guys, you want to look good?
You go put the horse on your chest and ride RLX all the way to the victory circle like our man, Billy Horshiel, Davis Love the 3rd, Sean Foley, Smiley Kaufman, always looking good out there.
Tom Watson, by the way, fellow member of the Kansas Golf Hall of Fame.
Shout out to Gary Woodland, who got inducted last night.
And Rider Cup, last year's Rider Cup captain, Zach Johnson.
The RLX collection is available in select Ralph Lauren stores, exclusive private clubs and resorts, and online at Ralph Lauren.com.
Big new feature this year, the collar stack.
Collars are massively different.
You can wash them multiple times.
They don't go limp like a lot of places.
And in most places in the world, not here,
but we're getting into sweater weather for golf.
And they got a nice cash mirror over there.
Love it.
Yes.
Just like our guy, Keith.
Some RLX, the fall 2024 collection.
All right, let's get to our guest this week.
We got a beauty.
You guys, y'all ask for caddy episodes.
They're entertaining.
They got great stories.
They're funny.
Well, we got another one coming your way.
We got Keegan Bradley's bag man.
Scotty Vale joining us on subpar.
All right.
Our next guest has had himself quite a nice run of late.
He helped Keegan Bradley win the BMW Championship.
Then he added a President's Cup trophy to his resume.
He is longtime PGA Tour Looper and Caddy Captain for next year's Rider Cup.
Scotty Vale joins us.
Scottie, good to have you.
Thanks, boys.
Thanks for having me.
Yeah, what a world when it's been.
But yeah, I'm excited.
I'm excited for next year.
I'm excited for still right in the high of what happened last week or two weeks ago.
I don't know when it was, but just amazing.
Are you going to have your fellow caddies call you captain all year long?
I think you should.
I think that should be.
They should respect me.
A, I'm older than them.
And B, I'm their caddy captain.
But I know what it's going to be like when it comes time, push comes to show.
They'll be bossing me around that week.
I've seen it first and last week with.
some of the captains and us bossing Kaiser around who was, you know,
helping out fluff as the caddy captain.
And so we bossed Kaiser around pretty good and gave Fluff a hard time.
So I would imagine I'd be getting, I'd be getting roasted pretty good.
And maybe the caddy, they'll be calling me captain for the next year.
But at Beth Page, they'll be abusing me.
I can't wait to see it between you and Sleez's player liaison at the Phoenix Open this coming year.
Yes.
I'd be very interested at the end of the year to see who gets bossed around
or who has the most more ridiculous request, you are sleeves.
Scottie, I don't know if Kagan needs anything for the Phoenix Open,
but tell them not to because I'm not picking up the phone.
These little divas are going to start wearing me out,
and I'm about to air all of them out.
So handle your biz beforehand.
He'll be just fine.
Oh, now I know who to get tickets from,
but I need them for the birds' desk.
Can I get 48 tickets backstage to the bird's nest?
Oh, tonight?
Yeah, okay, sure, Mrs.
Whatever your last name may or may not be.
I will not do that.
Scotty, what are you going to bring as caddy cap?
You've been in a bunch of the rooms,
you know, Presidents Cup, Rider Cup.
What do you think your stamp is going to be at Bethpage?
So that's funny you asked that.
Last week, I thought I brought something unique to the table.
I, you know, everybody makes fun of me for gambling,
sports betting, yada, yada, yada.
So we would get on the bus on Monday,
and it started to, it started to,
people were asking me my picks.
And every day I would give one lock, one lock.
And it started out pretty good.
I think I was like two and all in the first two.
And then hit a rough patch, like maybe midweek.
And the boys would get on me.
Like as soon as I got on the bus one morning, it was boo.
Boo, boo.
Everybody's booing me.
So I think next year I'm going to keep bringing my locks.
I haven't lost any in the last seven days with the boys.
So I think I'm just going to keep bringing my locks and just, but on a serious note,
I'm just going to try to relax the boys and then have fun and be some entertainment for them,
which, you know, I think I can do. I thought I did it last week, but I'll have to, I'll
opt up my game and possibly won't be working the next day. So maybe have more alcohol in me
the night prior to and be able to entertain even more. Yes. That frees you up substantially.
Don't get, I think you might, there's a pretty good chance you might be carrying a bag that week
at Beth Page. The way Keegan is playing. But I want to go back to when he got the phone call and
when he told you because I know it came as a surprise to him when they called him and said,
hey, we're going to name you as captain for the Ryder Cup of Beth Page.
I'm sure he called you there pretty quickly afterwards.
What was your thought when he called and told you this news?
Yeah, it was funny.
It was, you know, obviously the tournament in Hartford had finished on the Sunday,
and I think we had two weeks off.
He was driving home to his he's got a summer house up in Boston, Newburyport, I think.
and he messaged me the Monday morning.
I got up at 7 a.m.
And I had a text already from him saying,
you know,
we text back and forth a lot,
but we had been on the road for like four weeks.
It was weird to have it,
you know,
straight away the next morning.
Well,
the text said,
call me.
I need to speak to you.
And I'm like,
oh,
what did I do last week that's getting me fired today?
What did I do?
And all these,
so I pick up the phone immediately,
call him.
I'm like,
hey,
is everything all right?
And he's like,
you're not going to believe this.
And he tells me that they want him as the Ryder Cup captain.
And I was like, oh my gosh.
Like I was shocked at first.
And then I was like emotional.
Like I was almost crying because I know how much it means to him,
how much not being on the team last year meant to him.
It was just like this whirlwind of emotions.
And I'm sitting there kind of like, I'm pretty sure I was crying a little bit.
I'm a little bit of a sap when it comes, push comes to show.
but I know how hard he works.
And I care for him as a boss, as a friend.
And yeah, he let me know.
And I was like, well, are you going to do it?
Like, you got to do it, right?
Captain America, you know, Bethpage, you went to school there.
So it was just a bizarre.
And then I had to keep my mouth shut for, I think, 10 to 14 days.
What, like, he's like, don't tell anybody.
And I'm like, I didn't tell a soul.
And that was hard to do.
but yeah it'll be um it's going to be amazing well you obviously got that call which was a good news
but i want to go back to last year when he didn't get the call for the rider cup dairy when he got
the call from zack johnson saying he wasn't going to be on the team what was that phone call
like to let you know hey we're not going to rome yeah that one wasn't as that one wasn't as fun
that was um he had texted me and said we're not going he didn't even call me he was so jacked up
I don't even think he can do anything.
Speak, say anything.
He thought he had said for the first time ever,
like he never let himself go there that he was on the team.
He was like, I've got to earn my way.
I've got to, you know, I'm not on the team.
I'm not, unless I earn my way on there.
And finally he had said when the Netflix crew showed up at his door,
he let himself go there for the first time.
And they obviously, it didn't work out.
They weren't going to give them the good news.
They were going to give him the bad news.
And then I guess, you know, the emotions flooded out.
But yeah, he just texts me.
We were bummed.
We didn't really speak.
We just text back and forth.
I think he was literally too emotional to even pick up the phone and speak to me about it.
So, yeah, that was a bit of a disappointment, obviously, you know,
that he stood over that one for a while.
Even I did.
I wouldn't even imagine how he felt, you know, the emotions of, you know,
you know, letting himself get there, I think, was like, took its toll on him, sort of speak.
So it was not a fun time for sure, but obviously, you know, looking back at it, everything
happened for a reason and things like that.
So very fortunate the way, you know, things have played out.
I think it's helped his image and people now see what kind of person is.
I don't think it.
It's definitely helped his image.
People see how authentic and what kind of person he is.
So, you know, things happen for a reason.
Kagan and I always use this Chinese farmer quote, you know.
I don't know if you guys are familiar with it, but it's, you know, this famous proverb.
And that was our motto.
It's happened for a reason.
And we'll figure it out and, you know, next foot forward and see what happens.
You were just in Japan.
Did you hear it?
It's close to China.
You didn't hear it?
I didn't hear it.
Okay.
Fair enough.
I mean, you're right, Scott.
It has a chance to be a sweet redemption story from being,
left off that team now,
happening potentially,
a winning Ryder Cup team,
which might even supersede,
you know,
losing in Rome and being a part of that.
But do you think that he gets named captain
of this Rider Cup team
if he had made the team in Rome as a player?
No, I don't think he does.
I think, you know,
it was kind of,
I don't know what goes on behind the scenes
with the PGA,
but no,
I don't think he's going to be the captain.
I know they were talking about Tiger being the captain,
and he's not ready for it.
But I think that being said, I think he's the man for the job.
I've seen him in action, you know, since the summer when they've announced him.
And he's going to be a leader.
He's going to be the captain.
He's the right guy for this job.
There's no doubt in my mind that he is.
I know, you know, it's overwhelming to be the captain of, you know, Team America to go to Bethpage, you know, New York City,
how rowdy the fans are.
It's going to be a historical Rider Cup.
And I think, you know, the significance is he's ready to rise to that challenge.
He's ready to do it.
So I think it's a great decision that the PGA of America have made them.
But yeah, to answer your question, no, I don't think, I don't know where they would have gone, what avenue they would have gone.
But I think it's a great move.
I think he's going to be able to build the gap in between the older generation and the younger ones.
And I think he's the right guy with some of his assistants that are kind of, you know, you know, late 30s or,
early 40s and they're going to help bridge the gap as well. I saw some of it last week of the
President's Cup with sneds and him and, you know, the other guy. So I just think it's, I think
it's an amazing, amazing decision that they've made. Yeah, I was, I was pumped when they made
the announcement. I was like, this is perfect. We need younger guys to get going. I mean, it's
time to start turning this thing over a little bit. And he is so passionate. He knows the
guys obviously very well. He's going to get him going. It's going to be an incredible scene.
at Bethpage, but I want to know a little bit more about you because we were talking
before the show.
I've known you for a long time.
I mean, a good 15, 18 years.
And I actually have no clue how you even got started in caddying.
Yeah, I guess everybody's got a different story.
My story was I grew up in Canada, just outside Toronto, this little town called Oshawa.
And I had a buddy that I played junior golf with named Derek Gillespie.
You guys know Derek.
D. Rock, we call him.
He's frequent interior area.
in Scottsdale, went to school at U of A.
You know, Derek was touted as the next Mike Weir as a college kid and was a stud standout.
And he would get into the Canadian tour events and he would get into,
we had two quarantine events in the summer in the Toronto area.
And he would get into the Canadian Open a lot of the times, almost every summer.
So he would get into those three events and I started to caddy for them in those
in some of the Canadian tour events when I wasn't working.
I worked at the golf club that we both played at.
So it kind of just snowball.
I went, he never quite panned out, obviously.
Never became the next Mike Weir, unfortunately.
But, yeah, I ended up meeting a couple other guys on the Canadian tour.
And, you know, I was in my late 20s at the time, kind of, you know,
you can't make money doing that.
I couldn't, you know, players can't make money doing that,
let alone a caddy.
So I was helped my mom with their cleaning business and was, you know,
working landscaping side jobs, stuff like that.
And then met a guy named Jason Enloe, who was the, you know, he was SMU head coach.
And he was obviously he was still doing his playing career.
He was on the Canadian tour.
And he said, you know, if I get my corn fairy card, I'll take you as my caddy.
And he got like conditional status.
So I went out at the corn fairy with him.
He was so patient.
with me so good to me, taught me about what a player needs for cadding, because I didn't really
know that much, really. You know, I hadn't been out in the big level, and it was nerve-wracking
and patient, and I worked hard. I've worked hard, and I think you've got to have a personality
to be a caddy in my opinion. So, thankfully, I think I've got that personality part. I work
hard, and Jason was a good player, never quite panned out. And then when we were on the
Corn Ferry tour, a bunch of us hungouts, Wags, Johnson Wagner, Brendan DeYoung, Ryan Armour,
and Snedz. We would play a lot of practice rounds and hang out, you know, go out for dinners and
stuff like that. And so Enloe didn't get in these two events at the time in Australia,
New Zealand. And Sneds was in him and was looking for somebody. And he asked Enlo and he asked me,
and I was like, that was when they started in February. So I had like two months off. And I was like,
yeah, can I go to Australia and New Zealand and try to make some money?
And, you know, so I did that, work for SND's, came back to the mainland,
and started working for Enlo again, probably did like a couple of months.
And I was like, I've only got, I'm giving myself a two-year window.
And I knew Snedz was the guy to get me to my dream of being a tour,
tour caddy, PGA tour caddy.
So went to Sned's after leaving Enlil.
and that was hard for me.
You know, I'd never done anything like that.
And I felt like I betrayed them.
But anyways, went to Sneds.
We won, lost in a playoff, won.
I think in a playoff, like, in the first two weeks,
pretty much had his card locked up.
And then he broke his rip.
Shocker.
Snads breaking the rib.
Broke his rib, and he was probably, like, eighth on the money list.
Well, he was out for, I want to say, like, six to eight weeks.
And he was for sure going to get his card.
and then slip, sliding away.
And then he comes back to Boise is his first event.
I think that's at the end of the year.
He's only got a couple events left.
And he ends up winning one of his last events in Rochester, Minnesota,
and gets his tour card and work 12 years for Snedd's and kind of the rest is history.
12 years.
Got a FedEx Cup title, too.
Yeah, got a FedEx Cup title.
Eight wins with him.
Some amazing times with Brand.
He's my boy.
I love him, man.
It was so cool to see him and Keegan hanging out last week.
And two of my favorite bosses, I was like, and it was great.
I was telling Brand to rake my bunkers and practice rounds.
Go get me a water now.
I need a water.
Put this in your car.
It was great.
And he didn't know what to do.
He was like, yes, sir.
Yes, sir.
That's beautiful.
How do you think he looks as a new member of the bald community?
It's weird going from the flowing locks in the visor to when he pops that thing off now.
Yeah, it was weird.
I don't know if he was losing his hair a little bit, thinning it a little up top, but it's grown on me.
I don't mind it.
Some people are used to the long flows and the way you didn't see it anyways.
He wasn't wearing the visor anymore, so who cares?
Get rid of it.
Yeah, he went full bore.
I respect him.
I respect him for that.
Can I go back to Derek Gillespie for just a moment because the people that know him know what a legend DRock is and that word gets thrown around too much.
But my first introduction to Derek, and I want to know if you were on the bag at the time for this,
I came up, played Canadian tour right after I graduated.
Got to know DRock a bunch of the Canadian guys.
And we were, this may be wrong, but I'm going to call it Ottawa or something.
Opening round, we go out, it's kind of this quirky golf course.
Derox shoots course record, like 61 or 62, and he's leading by like four.
And the, you know, cut looks like it's going to be one under, two under, something like that.
I mean, he's way out in front.
Goes out, does what DRock does, has himself a big night, celebrates maybe a little more than you would think on a Thursday.
T's off in the afternoon the next day, barely shows up by his tea time.
and shoots like 80 and misses the cut.
And I was like, I don't think I've ever seen anyone go.
First round leader to missing the cut is rare, but it happens.
But course record to missing the cut, I don't think I can ever remember time in life
where that's happened before.
It's like 6180, missed cut by shot.
That's D. Rock.
He wasn't afraid to go balls to the wall, was he, that guy?
I think he, growing up as a kid in high school and in college,
he would come home and he was so disciplined.
I think it was like he'd been disciplined for so long when he finally got like,
you know, some sort of status on the Canadian tour.
Like he kind of let loose and probably obviously to his detriment.
But yeah, he's a hoot to hang out with.
Every now and again, I'll see him in Scottsdale or if he's catting for Ricky every now
and again when Ricky gets in a tournament.
I'll be like, oh, wow, look who just stumbled upon, you know.
Here we are.
He's a talented.
He is one of my favorites.
And there's a lot to be said about that, by the way.
I mean, you let the bull out of its cage.
They're going to run.
They're going to have a good time.
You've been pinned down your whole life.
You finally get a little freedom.
It's like, okay, here we go.
Yeah, he's a bull.
In a China shop.
He's out of the cage, too.
There's some good, some really good DRock stories.
But I had no idea until a couple weeks ago that that's where you started.
By the way, props to you for staying with caddying after being with DRock.
He could drive you crazy.
Just like I said, the 6180 type stuff.
Like, dude, you know, how you play is the,
depends, you know, dictates what I make.
Yeah, for sure.
Tighten up a little bit.
Looking back at it, you know, the Canadian tour and all that.
It was just really fun, to be honest with you.
It was just stories and it was just fun to hang out and kind of get acclimized to the,
or climatized to the travels and the rigors, you know, of, you know, the life ahead, really.
Well, travel's slightly different for you boys nowadays playing for 20 million every week.
Yeah, no, it is.
It's nice.
Who are some of your go-to guys, like caddy-wise, that you hang out with on tour the most?
I'd say Big Shannon, Big Shannon Wallace.
I love that, man.
He caddy for Nathan Green, for every.
He's with Ryan Palmer now.
He'd be one of my regulars.
I've lost quite a few of mine.
Biggies who caddy for you, Colt.
He's in Australia now.
Scared to come back to the USA.
And then Fucci, Rosie's caddy.
He's one of my closest friends as well.
So, you know, and now I've kind of, I've jumped around.
I kind of move around a little bit.
I'm a bit of a hybrid.
If I want to be healthy and work out, maybe I'll hang out with Brendan Little or
Mani Villegas.
You know, if I want to have some fun, you know, I might hang out with some other guys,
but I'm a bit of a hybrid now.
But Fucci and Shannon, they'll always be my boys.
They'll be, you know, my closest ones for sure.
So since you've known Fucci, who is very big into the horse racing, okay,
Are you up or down lifetime taking Fucci's picks?
Do you know what?
Fucci's picks, I would say, first of all, to answer your question, I would be up with Fucci's
picks.
Fucci's problem is when he has a couple of cocktails and he chases him because he does actually
get really good information.
You know, he sent me information probably three weeks ago.
I've got a maid of a mate, you know, that no, is the owner of the horse.
And it won, and it won easily.
So his information is good, but it's after you have a couple of cocktails, you lose one,
and all of a sudden you're going for some value at 10 to 1, and then before you know it,
you're in a bit of her chasing it.
But no, I would say Fuji's picks overall are pretty good.
He is, yeah, he's big into it.
I love talking.
He's one of my favorite caddies out there.
He had one.
I'll give you one story.
He had, oh gosh, this was, this is a great.
story in my opinion he in like the fall prior to you know the fall about this time of year he'll come up
with a Kentucky Derby pick you know the futures one it might not even be in the might not even be
in the derby but you take your chance as well I want to say it was six or seven years ago it was
this Bodiemeister that was the pick and we would bet him in the fall in October and he was you
know 30 to 1 and then he wins a steak race and he keeps going down keeps going down well
he told Kevin Stadler to bet it, me, Shannon, and we all bet,
and this horse is winning every stakes race, the Derby, Arkansas Derby,
like, guess the Kentucky Derby.
And he's the favorite.
He's like two to one.
And we've had them to win the Derby for like, oh, I think we only bet like a thousand bucks,
but it was like 37,000.
Mike Smith's riding it.
Oh, Bodie Meister.
Mike Smith is known, the jockey's known for going to the lead, and that's it.
You go to the lead, and you better hope he wins.
while he went to the lead, was leading comfortably,
and we're at the derby watching this on the finish line,
and he finishes second and loses after having like a multiple,
like eight to 10 length lead going around the final turn.
Got it, you know, we would have won 30-some thousand.
We only bet, I think, 500 a gram, but it was just the story.
Well, Password, the next year he's got this new pick, American Pharaoh.
Okay.
Okay, we now, same thing happens.
It's American Fair, and now this horse is the real deal.
Well, the derby, the derby week is when they had that old match play where you'd be one and done.
And it was at Harding Park.
And that was the, I was like, I was catting for sneds.
And I was like, if we lose, are we going to go from San Francisco to,
what are we going to do, the Red Eye Friday night and get to Kentucky?
Well, ended up, we lost.
I was packing my bags.
I was going to Kentucky with or without him.
Well, he had to lose his match to Anabar and Lahari.
And I'm out on 18 watching it.
Come on, lose this match.
He was like the last ball.
They lose it.
I think they lost in even a playoff.
I'm sitting around.
We get on the red eye.
We go to like, I go down to like Neiman's downtown Sanfran, get a jacket, get pants, you know, him and I get on the red eye.
All night, you know, travel.
It's a nightmare.
You know, you guys know what the red eye is.
Well, we get their same similar seats, same similar scenario.
We bet them from October.
And now we've got, like, then we bet him at the track.
He's like one or two to one.
He's the heavy favorite again.
Well, lo and behold, he wins.
We go crazy.
I've got it on video.
It's like the best video I've ever seen filming him coming around the corner with the same
jockey, Mike Smith, riding it again.
anyways we we win like i think i win like 35 grand fucci wins like 40 grand and this is just from
like a thousand or 1500 bet probably who knows how much fucci had he probably had more probably lied to
me but um we went and the next week is the players and we just can't wait because everybody knew
that we had what we had done that we were going to um kentucky we missed out and we had america
Farrow because we tell everybody, right? We don't, we can't keep our mouths shut. So everybody knew,
well, we, Fucci couldn't wait to get to the range at Sawgrass. He was like, I'm just going
to parade up and down the range. Yep. Tipping my cap to everybody. And sure enough, like the day
at like Sawgrass on the Monday, we were like living legends. Rory's coming up to us. I heard you
guys, what a, what a weekend you guys had. And I'm showing them the video. But I mean, for that matter,
on its own, like I made 35, 40 grand from American Farrow.
That was enough for me for lifetime.
But now Fucci does it every fall, and he's never, he's never done it again.
But he always gives one.
He's got another one again.
I don't even know the name of it.
Of course.
That's hilarious.
He gets the same jockey.
Yeah, is this guy just like the LeBron of jockeys?
You got to throw this little dude on there.
Bones actually gave me that story yesterday when he's like asking him about.
And he said American Farrow's lead was so big.
And he's referencing the video that you're talking about.
He's like, they had time and they're right on the finish line.
And they had time to like turn around video themselves as the horse crosses the finish line because it was like not even close he was going to win.
And he's like, and he had it nine months before.
No, anyone had even heard of American Pharaoh and all that.
So I was going to ask you about that.
But I didn't know where it came from.
I thought you were just like the guru horse picker.
Yeah, no, no, it was great.
Well, originally the reason why Fucci bet Bodiemeister was February 14th.
It's obviously Valentine's Day.
We're always in Riv, Rift.
And, well, Fucci will go by himself to the odd.
I don't think he does it anymore, but he would go to Santa Anita.
Well, he said, Bodie Meister, the horse, when he was going down to the paddock,
he said he stopped, the horse stopped and went like this and gave him a wink.
And he said, that was it.
That's it.
So this horse winked at him in the parade, you know, when they're going around before they come out to the track,
stopped, looked at him, winked at Fucci, and Fucci said, this is my horse.
So that was the story of Bodiemeister.
to the end. And then American Pharaoh, he had, you know, somebody, I forget who trained him and
a friend of a friend or something. And Fucci said, this guy said it was the best horse he's ever,
he's ever had. So that was the reason why we did that. Now he's just forcing him every fall since.
The wink from the horse. I love that. I pick them just based on their names. Like whatever name
I like them, I'm like, yep, that one. Whether the week story is true or not, go with it.
Because that's fantastic. If you see it, it happens. He tells everybody, he's consistent with it. He said he
stopped, looked at him, and, like, he, and Fuchio, like, pretend to, like, take his glasses,
like, like, he doesn't even have any, and gave him a wink, and it's just like, every time
he tells the story, I just think it's hilarious.
That is great.
I got to ask this, obviously, you've been a part of a number of wins, so I'm sure those
tournaments are some of your favorites, but take the wins out of the equation here.
Give me your favorite golf course to caddy at, and then your favorite tournament site just
just because of all the fun and the atmosphere.
Favorite golf course to Caddy and favorite tournament site.
I think, I mean, if you ask a caddy's favorite golf course,
it's always usually one that he does well on.
Yeah.
So I'm particular to the California courses because I was fortunate up to win twice with
Snads at Tori and twice with him at Pebble.
I would say Pebble is probably my favorite course.
Tori South, I think, is just such a good test of golf.
So it probably would ruffle some feathers.
you know picking those but and then I I love I love the open I love the open championship like
just so much fun as far as like being there being I always say that they're the proper fans
they clap when you hit a shot to 30 feet they know that that's a good shot in 40 mile an hour
win it doesn't have to spin off the green or spin back 20 feet oh wow look at that it's fun
the open fans are the best and and the tournament as far as a field goes I think I
I think the opens the best, but my favorite courses would be probably Tori and Pebble.
And just speaking on Tori real quick, you were part of one of the greatest rounds in the history of golf, in my opinion.
The 69 at Tori Pines when the wind blew 9,000.
And probably the only, I'm guessing the only caddy to ever not carry a bag for a hole on the final day of a golf tournament and win.
Yeah, that one was so crazy.
We got to the golf course.
I looked at the forecast, and I can't remember the situation.
Obviously, we were a couple behind, I think probably four or five behind, maybe even six, to be honest.
But anyways, I looked at the forecast that morning and I saw that the winds were switching on like the last four holes.
They were going from downwind to like hurricane in wind into the wind.
So I said to Snedz that morning, I was like, dude, if we can like, we could, this could be a special day.
And I, for some reason, I was like, something's going to happen today.
And I said it from the moment he walked out of the locker room at like the dark, you know.
And anyways, we played like the last four or five, we played 12.
And you know how hard 12 is.
He instead doesn't hit it far.
He had a driver that the wind switched downwind.
And then we were walking down on the ball.
It was into the wind.
And he had a gap wedge in on 12, which is like unheard of for anybody, let alone sneds.
And the wind switched again, like downwind when we were hit.
hitting our second, and then it was just like the perfect storm.
Then you get to the next hole, dead downwind, we get play 14, and we hit like a nine
iron in on 14 and 15, and I remember KJ. Choi and I think Kevin Streelman, these guys were
after the delay and they come back out. They were hitting like Fairway Woods and hybrids into
these holes, and I was like, we've got a chance to win this. It was, it was crazy stuff.
Well, I'm going to give you some credit real quick, because I was actually in the group
behind you on Sunday that year.
And you looked ahead to the wind forecast on Monday.
My man did not because I laid up on 18 and they blew the horn and said you can finish if
you want.
And it's blowing 40 downwind to that front pin.
And John Davenporty's like, hey, man, we come back tomorrow.
Could be perfect conditions.
Make birdie top 10.
Well, if he would have known what you did and realized it was back 40 into our face,
I didn't get it out and down for part.
And ended up having to get it up and down for parts.
So shout out to you for looking ahead to even.
Monday.
That's what good caddies do, elite caddies.
I just lucked into that one.
That's the difference between good and great.
That's why I'm sitting in this chair now, you know, because a caddian like that.
That's it.
Otherwise, yeah, God knows what could have happened with some actual help out there.
That was one of the most insane days, though, ever.
I'll never forget, like looking at the leaderboard and seeing Brandt make birdies.
I'm like, what golf course is he playing right now?
This is impossible out here.
It's so crazy.
I remember even those big trees on 15, the one on the left coming down, right?
I mean, it was massive.
They couldn't have the crowds out there because it was a hazard.
It was literally, no pun, the perfect storm.
It was incredible.
We got to like the seventh hole that morning, and it's when the leaderboard still said
longest drives of the day.
And I look over and it says Tony Fee now 238, and I'm like, well, this is about to be a problem.
I need to hit the walkway.
Can I get to the fair way?
Yeah.
I do not.
I'll give you one of those two.
He just asked you like favorite courses.
Give me the most impressive shot.
you remember from both the guys who spent the most time with
Brandt Snitaker, Keegan Bradley. If I'd pick
one shot, then I'd be the most important,
just one that stands out.
I've got such a bad memory.
The best shot I've seen Keegan
hit, well, I mean, now he's
just hitting good shot after good shot. I keep erasing
him, right? I'll message him
at night being like, that was the best shot I've ever seen.
And then, like, President's Cup, he hit a couple.
But for me, for Keegan,
the 5 Iron on 17 at Colorado
was like, I mean, it was just
the most beautiful, gorgeous, high towering thing.
And it was such a tricky, tricky win, tricky green.
You couldn't go long.
Short was dead.
He just hit this thing.
He hit the five iron the day before from the exact same yards.
It landed one yard different than it did the Sunday.
And when he hit it, I knew he had to, he was on five iron the whole time.
And I was kind of, I knew that was kind of risky.
It was going to be short.
I could see it plug it in the bunker.
So I was kind of humming and hawn, but anyways, I looked at my notes and was like, yeah, you hit the five.
And same win from the day before.
Well, he hits his five right at our target.
And I'll say to my guys, did you get it?
Because I want to hear it before it lands.
I want to, don't give me an excuse.
That's all like, and he didn't say a word to me.
And when he didn't say a word to me, I was like, this motherfucker hit it perfect.
I know he did.
And sure enough, he hit it perfect.
and it came down on this one little green
into the grain patch.
And for me, that was the,
that was the best,
the best shot he had hit.
Sneds,
sneds would be the chippin.
Hunt 17, 8 at Eastlake,
you know, the infamous chip-in.
I missed the green just short.
We've got two holes to go for the FedEx,
you know.
Now all of a sudden,
I never think about money on the golf course,
like what I'm earning.
you know how much we're playing for and like but that one got me on like 17 I was like oh my gosh
I could win a million dollars like a caddy winning a million dollars a tote a bag and I'm going to
get a million dollars so I was like oh my when this ball comes up short on 17 he hits this miraculous
chip chips it in and then I'm like oh my gosh we just have to play the last hole and like make
bogey I mean to win you know the FedEx and so that was the shot that I love from SNATs he
He was such a gamer.
Man, when the chips were on the table, he was the first guy there wanting to clean
him up.
Million dollars?
Man, my gambling units can change drastically.
I'm going to back the shit out of American Pharaoh's kid.
That's so good.
When you think about what, you just mentioned Keegan's firearm at Castle Pines,
which was beautiful, it goes on to win that golf tournament.
When you look at what had to happen, not only for him to just be in Colorado,
with Tom Kim's finish in Memphis and then gets in Colorado,
but then he goes in Wednesday,
all the things that had to align for him to be a part on that President's Cup team
as a player instead of an assistant cap.
And it's kind of like, I mean, I don't know if you believe in, like,
destiny or things like that, but so many Domino's had to fall for that to happen.
It's wild.
So crazy.
And then even being like the clinching pot or the clinching, well, not the clinching pot,
but the clinching point, you know.
And I said to him,
I didn't really have, you know, we spoke text back and forth.
He's been busy.
I've been busy.
But like that night, like, I was just like, I was like, when everybody had finished
hugging everybody, I was like, what a month this has been.
Just an incredible month to like, you just can't make it up.
The storybook ending, like you said, getting into like that day at Memphis, I was
packed my bags heading home like eight different times.
I was like, we can.
And then finally I was, you know, you play these games, reverse psychology.
Oh, he's going to make this, you know, prepare for him to make it.
And finally, I was packing the leave to the airport to not fly to Colorado.
And Keegan was doing the same thing.
Like he was sitting in his hotel room.
Lord knows how crazy he was going.
Wack job he is.
But I was just convinced, wow, this has kind of been a bummer of a year.
You know, we've we've had some good finishes, but, you know, what a not a great finish to the year.
and then we get in.
And then it was just such a different vibe in Colorado.
We had the altitude dialed in straight away.
We went to the Broncos training camp.
And Stolsey, I'm a massive Broncos guy.
So he called Peyton to get me there.
I get the jersey.
I get the helmet.
Me and Wyndham Clark are doing the leading the end of the practice in the huddle.
I'm like, I grew up a John Elway fan.
It was just like such a special week.
We had great vibes all week.
Going out for dinners every night, hanging out at the clubhouse at Castle Pines was incredible.
And winning that week and then on to the President's Cup.
It's just like, man, what a.
And now, you know, looking forward to next year and trying to make the team.
And, you know, and it's just been a whirlwind.
It's just, it's hard to put into words.
So, so lucky, so fortunate.
But I know Keegan works hard.
I work hard.
Kegan works hard.
You know, he deserves it.
He's a world-class player.
and I think it's important that he realizes that he can play with these young boys.
And I think at the President's Cup, he really felt like, you know, I belong as a player.
And I think he's got respect from everybody, which I think is important from your team captain and your leader.
But yeah, it's been a whirlwind six weeks.
It's been amazing, though.
It's been fun to watch.
You mentioned Keegan being a whack job.
Do you think he's probably the best sleeper on the PGA tour,
considering how stressed out he has at all times when he's awake?
He's got to be the worst.
I think he wears himself out.
Yeah.
I mean, it's a bit of both.
Like, sometimes, like, he'll get himself so amped up.
He's like, Scott, I didn't sleep awake.
And then he wants to go for dinner at 4.30 p.m. on, like, on a Monday and Tuesday.
Like, okay, we got to do dinner at five.
I'm like, Keegan, like, the date, like, it's still lunchtime almost.
Like, we always give him a hard time about his early dinners.
And then he's the best to go out for dinners with on a Monday and Tuesday.
He's amazing.
But as soon as Tuesday night's done, it's DoorDash, it's Uber Eats.
It's, he doesn't leave that hotel.
Robbins says, you're, you are a whack job.
You're crazy, man.
It's beautiful.
Yeah.
But, yeah.
I think it was before the singles matches at the President's Cup where he's like,
dude, I couldn't eat.
I couldn't keep food down.
Like, you can just see his energy more than anyone else.
And I was like, I don't know how he steps up and hits these shots.
in crunch time because just on Thursday mornings,
you know, he's typically like that. He's got so
much, you know, electricity
going through him. I feel like at all times out there.
Yeah, he does.
And I think like, when he plays
his best sometimes is when he just like
doesn't, like the Sunday at the
President's Cup, he was, he was
amped up. He was, you know,
he was amped up Saturday. We didn't,
we didn't play our best. You know,
we got what pretty good by the Kim
boys. And, you know,
we were playing C-Wra the next day.
he's one of his really good friends,
Manny Villegas,
Siwu's,
and we both love Sebu.
And obviously,
him,
Mani,
and I were going out for dinner.
We were the Colorado guys
out for dinner every night together.
So playing him wasn't much fun,
but Keegan came to that course on Sunday,
and I get a feel for him,
and on the range,
he didn't say one word to me.
And I was like,
oh, this guy,
he's bringing it today.
But I'm completely fine to that.
I'd rather him not say a word
than me have to talk him
the cliff, sort of speak.
So he didn't say much.
It was a different kind of focus.
I was a different kind of focus, too.
You can kind of get amped up and out-of-body experiences and those things.
And for sure, we were amped up on Saturday.
But Sunday, when you were by yourself, it's just you and your caddy.
It was a different vibe.
It was a little more serious.
And he was more focused on just doing the job at hand.
And he did a great job of that.
Yeah, he's turned it around.
There's no doubt.
He's always been a really good player,
but it's just a whole other level now,
and you can see the confidence coming out of him.
Should we get to the E9 here?
It's fun to watch him with the stink guy
when he gets going to the back in the phone.
I, oh, here we go.
This is it.
This one.
He's got the juices going.
He's fun to watch and a hell of a run by you boys.
But yeah, let's do the E9 here, Scotty.
Nine.
Just kind of bullshit questions, more or less.
Well, that's just, you know, smart questions, I would say.
You can be anyone in the history of time,
for a day. You just get to live their life for a day. Who would it be? Who would it be? I could
be anybody. Oh my goodness. I think it would be the greatest hockey player in the world,
Wayne Gretzky, just to see what it was like to be in his prime and just to, I've followed
his career and read so much about him. I think it would be Wayne Gretzky just to see how,
I mean, he's a god in Canada. I mean, he crosses that border and it's like he's, it's, he's the
So I would say Wayne Gradsky.
Yeah.
It'd be cool for someone to say, hey, great one.
Yeah.
And they're talking to you.
They don't know someone else to say that, and I'd not say it to yourself.
Yeah.
By the way, how the Maple Leaf's going to look at the show?
I saw they just named Austin Matthews captain, which.
Yeah, they're going to be good.
They'll be good until the playoffs, as usual.
Perfect.
And they'll shit the bed in the first, you know, in the first round.
But hopefully we don't have to play the Bruins.
That's our nemesis.
And the Bruins goalie, he's holding out.
If they don't have him, I don't know what they're going to do.
But we'll be good.
We've got a new coach that's going to Craig Groovey.
He's a little bit different, a lot different, actually, in the last coach.
He's going to light a fire in these boys' asses.
But I think it's the right call to make Matthews the captain.
He's the real leader of the team and the best player.
They'll be competitive as usual, probably finish first or second.
And then I don't think they're made for the playoffs, though.
But they've gotten better on the back end defensively.
They've gotten some size and some, you know, some playoff.
toughness and some guys that have won some cups. So that helps. I'm sure Kagan doesn't let you know about
it at all when Boston beats their ass every time. Do you know what? He's actually good to me. He takes it easy
on me. He feels bad for me. He legitimately feels bad for me. And he can't give me a hard time.
He falls the brunes when it's like when towards the latter part of the years when I start hearing
hockey talk. So no, I'm not buying it, Kegan. But no, he's good to me. He takes it easy on me.
he's had enough parades in his day
for sure
I mean you can they go a year without winning one
now that the Patriots suck the Celtics
are going to start winning the shit out of year
devastating
all right
you answered one of mine from E9
about the Kentucky Derby earlier so I'm going to replace it
with a little layup here
give me the most unnecessary
thing Keegan requires in his golf bag
that you have to carry
oh gosh don't get me going
to submit my blood boil
yes
what do we got
When I first came to Caddy for Keegan, he's like, he's, you know, you drop off the bag in the bag in the bag room, right? Colton and I'm always like, the guys would always, the bag of them guys, he'd be like, oh, this is the heaviest bag. And I'm like, say it when he's around. Say it when he's around. He's got this, this if things, he calls it, if things go horribly wrong kit. And it, it's in the belly pocket that opens up. It's on that pocket. It's not actually inside. He's got contacts. He's got glasses. He's got glasses.
He's got light, like eye drops, because he wears contacts.
I've never seen it used, ever.
And it's like it's this tin box, tin box heavy,
and it's loaded up with stuff.
And he goes, that's if things go horribly wrong.
And I'm like, well, they haven't gone horribly wrong yet.
When can we get rid of this?
My big thing is, you know, he's like, you're a big guy.
You should be able to tote this.
I'm like, have you not heard every ounce counts?
Have you heard the straw that broke the camel's back?
it was a straw. It was a straw. Let's get rid of that stuff. We don't need that stuff. So that
in the bag that I don't even know what's in it. I know there's contacts. I know there's this little
kit, first aid kit. Like I don't know. Do I got to do CPR when things go wrong? That's the one
that's in the bag that I don't even know why it's in there. In case things go horribly wrong bag or pouches.
Yeah. Nice. I've never heard that. That's good. Everybody's got something. All right.
next one. Who had more fun at Caesar's Palace? You or Alan from the Hangover?
You've done some due diligence there. I have no idea what this story is, by the way.
So back in the day, your old caddy, Biggies and Shannon and Ray Farnall retro, you know,
only Shannon Caddy's on tour anymore. We would go to Vegas, you know, whenever we could.
Like if we were driving by, you know, back when we were driving everywhere, staying four in a room, we whipped it up a couple of nights.
Well, not a couple of nights all the time in Vegas.
Well, we decided to, like, go down the strip at like six, seven in the morning, no sleep, completely wasted.
And I decided to, like, get into my boxers, get into my strip out of my clothes and just keep my boxers on and climb, like, the Greek gods outside of, like, Caesars, like in broad daylight.
And they're taking photo.
and I'm up at like the top.
I'm afraid of heights and I'm like going up there
and doing this stuff while the cops come like
cop buddy was his name.
I still remember his tag
because every now and he gets somebody, he'll send me a photo of him.
And he was like the security for the casino.
And he comes and I was like, I'm going to jail.
What's going on?
And then Biggies and Biggies was like,
they love our accent.
They think it's amazing. Let's do the Aussie charm on them and get you out of this. And they did.
They just let them get them to come back down, put on his clothes, and away we went. So that was, it's a toss-up. I didn't wake up with, like, you know, tigers in my room. So I think I'm going to give it to Alan.
Perfect. Love that. All I got was Buddy Love and the Caesar's Fountains.
Buddy Love, yeah. I was like, okay, perfect. There you have it.
there yeah
moral of the story
always travel
with Canadians
or with Australians
when you get
out of a pickle
for sure
yeah
when you get
buddy love
in the fountains
I had no idea
where that
that story could have
gone a lot of ways
yeah
but
okay
buddy love was
what he was the
he was the cop
the the
the mall cop
or the
yeah
yeah
I'll never forget that name
buddy love
yeah that could have gone
a number
a number of different ways
all
I'll give you
we've been talking
some gambling
here
I know you're
you're not afraid
of the action
of all the caddies
on tour
or who do you think is the worst sports better?
Like if they give you a pick,
you're just like fate immediately.
Fucci.
So the guy that got you 30.
The guy that's a great horse better.
Fucci's awful at sports betting.
Awful.
I don't,
yeah,
when he says it,
when I get to the range and I hear like,
and I like a particular game,
and Scobby taught me this.
Scobby's like,
when I stay with him in the Bahamas,
four or five years ago,
he's,
you know,
he sits me,
down and you know him. He's got the notes. He's anal. He's got, he won't bet unless it's a game.
Not, I'm betting because it's on TV. Well, he's taught me not to do that. And I've gotten a lot better.
But when we would get to the golf course and you would hear caddies and they would have the opposite of what you had,
Scobby was like, that's the best news you could ever have. When everybody's like, I love, I love so-and-so.
And we like the other team, he's like, that's the best news you could have when you got to the golf course.
So, but yeah, Fucci, Fucci would be the worst.
Okay. Can't be good at everything.
No. It's like our caddy from Whistling Straits
when he gave me the inside him.
Oh, yeah. Catties are the most full of shit demographic.
This is no offense to you. I love a million of them,
but they are the most full of shit demographic in the history of mankind.
Like, we're just with that stuff they spout.
And things they say are gospel and never come to fruition.
And just they're beautiful breed. It's a beautiful breed.
We are. We're idiots.
When we think our guy's going to play good, he doesn't.
When he think he's going to play bad, he's warming up, shit.
And we're like, oh, you know, say to the other cat.
oh, this could be a long day.
He ends up playing good and winning a golf turn or something.
We are full of shit.
There's no doubt about it.
That's beautiful.
It's a good self-awareness, though.
All right, you mentioned how good you are at sports gambling.
Would you say you're better at that or back in your younger single days were you better with the ladies?
Ooh.
Oh, I've heard stories, Scotty.
Dude.
You were forced to be reckoned with out there, brother.
I'm on a heater right now, sports bet.
I'm going to say I'm out of the.
game now. So I'm going to say
I'm better at sports betting.
Good. I like that because
I heard you were shit back in the day. Yeah, I made that
up about you being a force.
I heard you are not a force.
I was getting excited. My hat,
I was going to have to adjust my hat a little bit.
Whatever is the opposite of a force to be
reckoned with? Yeah, like a puff
ball. That is beautiful.
Give me your... Hey, you miss 100% of the shots
you don't take, Scotty. Back in the day,
give me the best wingman
maybe out there that you hung out with.
Oh, Hortsey.
Mark Horton was the best.
Yes.
I mean, he took me under his wing back in the day, and he was the closer.
He was, he was Mariano Rivera.
We would, you know, call him, and it was funny.
You know, Hortsey's older.
He's English.
He's a charmer, right?
Colt, you know him.
He was good with the ladies.
He took me under his wing.
I would call my protege is what I would call him.
But that was- That's beautiful.
I'm surprised you to pick up some moves from DRock.
Speaking of a guy that takes shots, he swings for the fences.
Yeah, I miss DRock in his glory days.
I was with DRock, you know, kind of in his early, early years.
I heard he got more and more legendary as time went on.
Yeah.
The legend continues to grow.
One of one.
Speaking of Horsi, do you remember the saying, sweetheart, you're no oil painting?
We can just leave it at that.
That's a great line.
Yeah, I can remember back in the day, you know, I would be getting close to maybe closing time, maybe at the bar.
And this one girl in particular liked my advances.
And so I got mad at her and I was like, well, you're no oil painting.
Keep that in mind, you know.
I've never heard it put like that, but I get it.
But I love it.
I got mad.
All right.
A couple more.
for you here. You're going to have put on your thinking cap for this. Go back to 2016,
Rider Cup at Hazeltine. Do you remember the words of encouragement you gave Brooks Kepka
after a poor drive? I believe in the opening match. Opening matches.
You guys are good. You guys are on your game. So yeah, so we went up a week before the
Hazeltine and the players and caddies went up and they decided it would be a good idea
to have the players play and the caddies play. So I don't play golf. I play like one
a year. I'm not good. And I don't pretend to be good. I went out with Ricky Elliott and Austin Johnson.
I can't remember who the fourth was. And we went out in our group. Well, the first T, I hit this
snaphawk. And it was Greller, I think it was, was our fourth. And I hit this snaphawk, left
trees, you know, way off the fair way. Get up there and I've got an opening and I could hit on the green.
I hit on the green two pot. Well, fast forward to a couple of
a week later,
something to the rider cop and we're playing
foursomes with Brooks.
And Brooks is,
you know,
he's shit in his pants.
It's the first,
first T shot of his Rider Cup career.
This was before Brooks was Brooks.
But I knew Brooks was going to be Brooks.
But he hits this shot,
you know,
it's his,
it's his T ball.
We're hitting the approach shot.
We've got the even holes.
And he snap hooks it left,
like exactly the same as me.
Mind you,
it's probably 30 or 40 yards further.
The ball doesn't even come down.
I just,
don't worry about it.
There's a clear opening over there.
I was there last week.
And Brooks and Ricky and snads, they were howling.
And sure enough, snads hit a shot, hit on the green, two-putt par, have the hole.
And away we go.
But, yeah, that was kind of, that was one of my famous lines.
I think that I got to toot my own horn.
That was a good one, given the, you know, the magnitude of the situation.
Yeah.
Brooks me and Ricky.
It's a good catty stuff.
Ricky always laugh about it still when we see each other.
and it still gets talked about, you know, when the Ryder Cup pops up.
That's good.
Yeah, got a shot over there.
It's fine.
I did it, right?
I was there.
Once a year.
All right.
One of my favorite events of the year is out at Hilton Head, Harbor Town, the RBC Heritage.
And you and the Aussies used to have this incredible tradition called the Southern Boys,
which, my old catty, shorthy, was a part of it.
Can you explain to the folks at home a little bit about the Southern Boys?
And we have a photo, which we are going to release as well for this because it's great.
Yeah.
So, you know, we are a tight-knit group of guys.
You know, I've raised in Canada and the boys, Australian.
So we would always, when we get to like the South, we just love the Southern boys.
The haircuts, the hair parted to the side and the, you know, the collared shirt and the tennis shorts, you know, with the fabric belt with the lighthouse on at the logo.
So we would just like make, Hilton Head was the prime location for it, right?
Quarterdeck back in the day, it was a hotspot, right, Cole?
So fun.
And so we started this traditional Friday night of Hilton had going to the quarterdeck and all dressing.
We did it a couple of years where we would dress as Southern boys separately and have our own stuff.
But people didn't really, it wasn't, we were making fun of them enough.
So we decided to take.
get to the next level and all of us go and get the exact same outfits. Well, Shannon's a bigger
fella. He's not in double XL. So we had to go across to cross the off the island to the polo factory
outlet. And we all got dolled up in these, I think they were orange shirts and yellow shorts or
with the sweater over us. Some guys had to, whoever was in the masters the week before had to get a visor,
had to get a coozy, had to get the crokeys.
Like, we had to do it all.
Like, that's pure Southern Boy.
So we'd get all that, the master stuff,
the whole of our beers in,
and the guys that had hair would have the big visors.
And so we did that, and we would go out.
And that night, when we were all dressed the same,
we'd have, like, ladies, like, my mom's age, ladies, like normal.
Like, oh, my gosh, you guys should be in the front of a cover of a magazine.
And they had no idea that we were making fun of them.
The women loved it.
And the guys were kind of like clue list.
Like what's going on?
Meanwhile, we're making fun of them, right?
So the women loved it.
And we were, I mean, we loved it.
We were just making fun of, you know, the southern boys in the way they dressed.
It was interesting.
Yeah.
So for those people that are listening at home and can't visualize this,
just imagine an orange collared shirt with some maroon shorts with a yellow sweater vest
tied around the neck.
I mean, this is just, it's gorgeous.
I love it.
That was one of my favorite traditions. I was sad y'all stopped doing that.
I know. It's sad because obviously Hilton Head's now in an elite level event,
signature event. And so I don't have my boys there. That hasn't happened in probably seven
or eight years. I hadn't been there in a while. Biggies is gone. Retro's gone. And Shannon's,
you know, Shannon's still there. But yeah, it's lost its dynamic, unfortunately, because I loved it.
It was so much fun. Well, I feel like the Southern boys died when the quarterdeck got all nice.
and fancy now. It's not the same either. Yeah, it wasn't. The cornerdecks definitely changed that
vibe. It was, uh, it was party central and, you know, you could go down there anywhere and have
fun. Now it's a little hoity-toity pulling up in your nice boat and yacht or whatever, but
there's what it is. We had, we had good fun back in the day. If you're listening, you're going to be
there and you want to pick up chicks, apparently just go to the extreme of what you think
the SIGAP house looks like at the University of Tennessee and that'll work. Yeah, get that
fabric belt on with the, you know, the lighthouse logo.
I know the get up.
You're explaining it.
That's a key.
Perfectly.
It's the uniform.
It's the uni down there.
All right.
My last one.
Have you ever been forced to issue an apology to a former president for any reason whatsoever?
Oh, gosh.
Yeah.
This is a good one.
Yes, I have.
This is, uh, back when we played Dural, um, you know, with the WGC and I was working for SNEDs.
and they made so many changes to drown,
like the last year they made it
or the second last year,
they just made it so long.
you had literally guys besides DJ
had to literally drive it down the walkway,
the moan path to the fairway.
Remember J.B. Holmes winning,
and he was hitting a seven in the middle of the green
and the water on one.
Well, I was like, I was vocal,
and I was on social media at the time.
And I had a decent following.
And my veteran caddy friends, Johnny McClare, who caddy for Luke Donald for the longest time.
And now with Paul Casey and the live and Fucci, we're like, I was like, this is the worst golf course ever.
It's, it's awful.
It's dumped Dural, dump international, Donald Dump.
I was like, I was going on.
And it was the last day, we were middling around like 40th.
That's the best we could do there.
Like, we couldn't do anything.
So we're walking down the last long.
Johnny's like, you've got to say something on social media.
You've got to.
And I was like, you're right.
Yeah, I'm going to do it.
He's like, as soon as we get in that scoring area, you know,
and Johnny's like kind of like my older mentor, I would always ask him things and, you know, run it by him.
Well, getting the scoring tent.
And I was like, dumped Dural, worst golf course I've ever caddied on.
And didn't think of the magnitude of my words on social media.
Well, the next day, that was a Sunday, we're going to Tampa.
the next day I wake up
and Brant's brother is a lawyer
and a judge and is really a smart guy
and somebody that I'm quite close to still
was like, oh man, what did you say last night?
And it started to unravel
the repercussions. And Brants, you know,
he does things the right way.
And so anyways, it got, obviously,
it made headline CBS Sports,
the headline page of their sports section.
So I was like, oh, man.
man, now I'm in trouble.
But I still, what I said, I still believe in.
It was like, so anyways, I say that Monday, Tuesday,
rolls around, you know, they want to take some action with me.
And Donald Trump's associates, this was before he was the president,
probably two or three years before he was president.
They got involved, and I had to write an apology email to
Donald Trump.
And this is, now we're at Tampa the next week.
And I'm at the, I'm at the golf course and I'm just trying to avoid everybody.
I just, because guys are giving me a hard time.
And I'm thinking I'm going to lose my job.
Like, Snage was close to firing me, I think.
It just wasn't, it wasn't a good luck.
And so I had to apologize to him.
Well, Brand had to apologize to him as well, write a letter.
Well, I get this.
it's like Wednesday and I still haven't apologized because I got Johnny and Fucci in my ear going,
don't do it.
She's going to bully you.
Don't let them bully you.
And I'm like, you're right.
I'm not apologizing.
Well, Brand's already sent the apology and he reads me the apology back in an email.
And it was from Donald Trump and it was like, oh, you know, thanks very much for the email apology.
You know, the boys love the golf course.
You know, it's great golf course.
And then, like, it was like four or five lines, this reply back to the sneds.
And then the last couple lines was, oh, by the way, your caddy's a moron and you should fire him.
Well, how do I apologize to somebody for calling me a moron?
Like, I'm a proud person and I'm like, oh, man, this is even harder now.
And I told the boys, they're like, you can't do it.
Don't let him bully you, you know.
And I'm like, oh, man, I got it.
I got to save my job.
So anyways, I write the apology.
I don't hear anything back.
My apology was short.
You know, I was heated at the moment.
And so ended up apologizing.
And, you know, a couple of years later, like, literally two years later, he's the president of the country.
And, like, when he got voted in, I must have had 50 to 100 phone calls and texts.
I can't believe you called her president a moron.
And he went to apologize to him.
And I'm like, yeah.
Funny thing is, I do it.
vote for him right now. He's my boy now. I love him. Come on with this. But the other good thing was
they moved that tournament from Trump International to Mexico and Snedd's finished 8th the next year.
And I was like, you weren't finishing 8th at Durrell. I should get more than my 8% pal,
because you were finishing 40th every year at Durow. And you can stop 10th in the WGC.
And he's like, yeah, you're actually right on that one. So not my, not my fun moment.
I can't believe that he found out about it and somebody reached out.
Like, that's crazy.
Fire that moron.
Even before he was president, I don't care.
Like, who, that's crazy that it hit his radar.
You should fire him.
He's a moron.
Oh, man.
That's too funny.
I got to that course in Tampa and Snads, I think, told somebody that he called me a moron.
And then I was like, I can't do it.
I can't apologize to somebody that's speaking to me like that.
Like, I never said anything.
You know, I never said it.
I just said his golf course.
Well, you know, what's it good?
So that's like for months.
I remember Jason Bowen everywhere I would go call me a moron.
You know how he is.
And I would just be like, whatever, guys.
But yeah, it was a good story.
I learned my lesson.
That's a good story.
I can't wait to walk with y'all's group next year.
It's going to be great.
We'll have some fun.
That way, if you're walking with us, that means things are going well.
So I can't wait to have you as well.
It's a good point.
All right, my last one, let you get out of here.
Is the Great Barrier Reef as beautiful in person as it is in the pitchers?
What's this one?
This one's Fucci.
This one's back before we were, I think I was a rookie on the PGA tour,
and Snedz would play the Aussie Open, the PGA, and the other one, the Masters, I think it was.
Well, we were down there, rookie year, Brandon's wife, newlyweds, I think.
We had a week off, and the Australian PGA was paying.
for a vacation to Cairns.
Oh, Port Douglas, it was, to where the barrier reef was,
kind of where you can take the boat out and do these excursions.
Well, I had a week off, and Fucci happened to be getting for Stephen Leaney at the time,
and he was going to have a week off too.
Back in those days, we didn't have any money, and I'm like, well, I've got a paid hotel.
If you want to, you know, get two beds and you can hang out with me for the week,
and then we can go to the cool them.
down the coast of Australia, you know, for the tournament next week.
Barrier Reef, you know, would go out and Brandon's wife will be there and they're great.
So we go there and we're there for six days and we are in the TAB every single day.
We don't have cell phone back then.
It's like, and so Brant and Mandy would, you'd have to call the hotel.
Well, they didn't.
They knew exactly where we were.
We went into town.
We caught a bus, which was like, you know, the hotel shuttle into town, 10 minutes into town.
And we would hang out at the TAB.
every single day,
Brandt and his wife were out at the barrier reef
multiple times, swimming with the sharks
and, you know, seeing all this stuff.
And to this day, Fucci says
it's still one of the wonders of the world
that we went to the barrier reef.
We were right there and we never saw it.
And he goes, I wouldn't change it for the world.
The TAB was better than the barrier reef.
And I'm like, do you know what?
I think you're right.
Like, that was one of the highlights of my cadding career,
spending a week right next to one of the wonders
of the world and being at the TAB.
gambling and drinking and just having a hoot all day for six days in a row. Couldn't beat it.
Hey, how was Egypt? How were the pyramids? Don't know. Never saw it. Don't care either.
No. There didn't happen to run into them. That's good. Love it. Well, Scotty, man,
so much fun sitting down with you. Congrats to you and Keegan and all the success. And honestly,
you've had a hell of a career caddy. And it's going to be a great caddy captain. Make sure everyone
calls you CAP starting in 2025. But we appreciate you join us here on subpar.
Thanks, guys. I love the show. Thanks for having me, and we'll do it again sometime soon.
You're not a moron. I don't care what they say, dude. You're fired. That's blasphemy. You're fired.
All right. That was Scotty Vale, joining us on subpart. I love it right out of the gate when we got in to the phone call from Keegan. How about as a catty getting a text saying, hey, call me, we need to talk. I'm fired. What have I done?
Oh, shit. Yeah, it's like, teacher, like, I need to see you after class. You're like, what the shit did I do? The list is long.
By the way, you ain't no oil pain, hon.
Let me tell you that.
Sweetheart, you ain't no oil pain.
I've heard a lot of weird lines.
I thought I've heard most of them.
Hadn't heard that one.
But I love it.
I think next time either of our significant others, you know, act up a little bit.
No, no.
Look, you ain't no oil pain, sweetheart.
See how it goes.
I'm going to.
Hey, let you do that.
Tough love.
Tough love.
No, it's important.
But he's got great, dude, the Trump apology.
I mean, for that tweet, also sounds like he's getting some bad advice from his
mentors out. Dude, you got to tweet something. Like, that's going to change something.
It's good. Scotty Vale hates Durrell. We got to get out of here. Although it did change and
he went down to Mexico and they made a bunch of money. It's fair. I love it. What are you going
to give the guys? Just some more gambling picks. More blocks. He did give me in his defense
with Adam on radio right after a president's cup. He gave one pick out, lock of the week. It hit
Padres, whoever they're playing that night. They won. Well, they're playing the Dodgers and the
playoffs. It was pretty all that. It was still regular season. And they hate each other, by the way.
Dodgers, Padres going at it, throwing baseballs at each other.
I'll listen to anyone right now because I'm losing it ever.
I've never been colder.
The only picks that win are the ones we give out that I give out on here,
and I lose almost all the rest of them.
I will say every time I have Keegan's group, I always go to the range before.
And I'm walking up to say hi to Keegan.
Scottie and Scotty will start going in on some sports picking Keegan every time.
He goes, here we go.
He loves it.
Here we go.
He loves it.
Next time you have them, you can bring up the, you should fire him.
He's a moron.
Yes.
Oh, don't worry.
That will be brought to the air next year.
That's great.
But thanks to Scotty Vale for joining us.
It's been an awesome.
I mean, just like he said,
it's been a whirlwind last six weeks from Tom Kim finishing 666 to them getting into Denver
to going on and winning the BMW, making the President's Cup team, being named Rider Cup captain.
It's been wild.
He's got caddy captain, 2025.
That's right.
He's going to put his stamp on that room.
Guarantee it.
The amount of degenerates in that room at one time, beautiful space.
All right.
Beautiful space.
We're degenerates.
Let's make some more picks.
I've not lost yet in my football pick.
Who did you have last week?
Last week.
The Washington commanders just absolutely destroyed the Cleveland Browns.
They're smashing people.
They're fun to watch.
Good drafting, by the way.
Jim Daniels, Stud, Cliff Kingsbury.
Happy to see him back and having success.
I do not like that they're in the NFC East.
Before you make your pick, I know you've been abroad.
I'd like to let you know Denver Broncos, three wins over halfway home.
to the five and a half just to let you know.
Some people call us an unstoppable force.
A wrecking ball of offensive firepower is what we are.
But I don't know if you caught that over there, weird times.
I saw that Sean Payton and Bo Nix said, I love you to each other.
They love one another.
The course is very loud.
No, they love one another.
And shout out C.D. Lamb, who apparently is talking about subpar during the game with DAC.
They're just converses like subpar, subpar.
They're arguing who's going to be next guest.
Dead ass.
Yeah, C.D. Lamb.
We didn't want to let the cat out of the bag.
See, you're welcome on. Anytime.
Happy to have any member of the boys on.
Humbling.
Let's get some picks.
I mentioned I gave you the commanders last week.
I kind of want to roll with them again this week.
They're getting points at Baltimore, but I'm going to go another direction.
The Jets just fired Robert Sala.
They stink.
I like Aaron Rogers, but Josh Allen is a beast.
As long as he's healthy, which this could make me change my pick later than the week.
But right now, the Buffalo Bills are giving up two and a half points at the New York Jets on Monday Night Football.
the Buffalo Bills gave that game away against Houston, which worked out well for me.
But I think they bounced back.
They're a much better team than the Jets, in my opinion.
So I'm going to Bills minus two and a half at the Jets.
Yeah, things not clicking.
Now.
Just yet in New York.
Now, Devante could be there soon.
Yes.
Which would change things.
A little bit.
And if Josh Allen, for some reason, because he hit his head pretty hard last week,
and for some reason he didn't play, that pick does not count.
I'll allow that.
He hit his head hard.
God.
And they let him right back in.
And they came right back in.
I was like, dude, I had some football players talking with.
They were like, dude, there's no way that he was all right.
That was a lick.
I'm going to stay in the college world.
Colt.
Shout out to the Clemson Tigers.
Made it a little closer than they needed to against Florida State this past week.
But I'm going to go to the world of the Big 12th this week.
The Kansas State Wildcats at the University of Colorado Buffalo's giving for off and off week.
I think they've got one of the best coaches in football.
CU, by the way, also off and off week.
But I think they're a little inflated right now.
I think actually the money will probably come in on Colorado on that,
but I'm going to stick with K-State.
The lineup, the quarterback runs it all over the place.
Yeah, minus four.
And put up a dub in Boulder is where I'm headed.
All right.
Also, shout-
Disclamer, I'm cold as fuck right now.
I haven't won much.
Except for these picks, though.
Well, shout out to Vanderbilt, upset in Alabama,
and celebrating properly.
Love to see it.
Carrying the goalposts down Broadway.
Just a beautiful thing.
Straight into the Cumberland River.
Yeah, I'm sad I missed it.
It has been removed from Cumberland River,
and they've chopped it up into pieces
that they are selling to pay the $100,000 fine.
First time offense for storming the field at Vanderbilt.
That's the good news about being Vanderbilt.
You don't get a lot of storming the field fines.
You do not.
Nick Saban, actually, that week came out,
so the only easy place to play in the SEC is Vanderbilt.
Did you see him play that right after the clock hit zero in that place?
That was sweet. That was sweet.
Speaking of sweet, SMU won again, beat Louisville.
And I'm still wondering if you got your shirt.
Yeah. Well, nice if you have returned back to America.
The piece of shit arrived last week after like four days later than they said it was going to be there.
They're flying off the shelves, man. It's hard to keep them in style.
Dude, someone just bought an SMU shirt. Do we actually sell those? Never had one before.
So it's arrived. It's ugly and hideous and flamble. Everything that the ponies have.
of America.
But I will honor my word.
I was going to do the video while you're over there,
but I was like, it's going to be,
he's going to want to have to be there and things,
and I don't want to have to do it twice.
So it's ready, it's available.
They will be worn.
I will say something nice about the commuter school down the road.
But well done.
I actually bet you guys this week.
If I'm going to hate you,
I'm going to at least try to profit on it.
That's a big win for us.
My only other one that I got.
Two and O in the ACC.
Two and O.
On a collision course with Clemson Tigers.
No, they will not be discussed right now.
right now.
The SMU plant that is Sunny Dykes
that was sent in to sabotage our program
from the inside is working perfectly.
We are the softest, weakest program in football.
It's sad.
Remember when he said he wasn't going to say anything?
I said nothing.
That counts as nothing.
All right.
That counts as nothing.
Well, that was a lot of fun.
You get your game tight.
You're heading over to Korea next week.
Yeah, dude.
Bridges Cup.
I'm tightening the screws.
Represent USA.
This isn't a responsibility I take lightly.
We have America on our backs.
And the whole world's watching.
It doesn't get any.
bigger than that. That's right. All right. We'll get your game tight. I know you got a little cram
session coming up, so we're going to let you get to it. A lot of fun, though. Thanks to RLX.
Thanks to Scotty Vale for joining us, and we'll talk to you out next week's subpar.
