Starting point is 00:00:00 What's new? Are we starting the show? I mean, I mean, I already asked you earlier today what's new, so. No, I was just saying because you're not in, you're over there and if you want to, Oh, I just want to make it up. You can only see like the side of your profile. No, you can still see me though. If you're sitting in your chair, it would be.
Starting point is 00:00:21 The chair bothers my back. You know how it is. I kind of just want to, also like views are lower on the podcast. Maybe if we mix things up a little bit, right? So maybe it's like... By having one camera completely wasted. Well, no, it's not wasted. We just don't have to use that one.
Starting point is 00:00:36 Luke, change it. Don't stop showing that one because I'm over here. Does he crop in to give you a specific close-up in the kind of like replacement of the original? Because it just goes to me and then a wide and then to me and then a wide. Well, that's, I mean, that's fine. I don't mind if you have a little extra spotlight. Yeah, I'm just comfortable over here.
Starting point is 00:00:57 Let's talk real quick, just off the podcast. Okay. See, look at that. You're visible. People can read the expressions on your face. We don't even need to talk about it. We were getting into it, right? Because what we just talked about outside of the podcast room, I think he made it pretty clear.
Starting point is 00:01:35 So, welcome everybody to Super Mega Show. Sorry, Ryan was doing American Sign Language just now. One, two, eight. I'll be honest My brain can easily count the one Can count the two But when you threw up the eight It was like
Starting point is 00:01:52 My you know It's like I still kept the thumb The thumb still looks Right see I couldn't tell Because I'm stupid And I was like If I was holding it for a four
Starting point is 00:02:00 Or a three I would have you know done that But I kept it wide Yeah 1 to 8 Shit Damn that's a Wait
Starting point is 00:02:07 Isn't 128 A power of two It is Oh my God So mathematically It's gonna be a good episode mathematically. Mathematically. Mathematically, the universe is aligned for this to be a fantastic episode. Just saying. So any mathematicians or math majors out there, go nuts. Also, my cousin, he has a degree in math, and that just sounds like the, to each his own, but that sounds like the worst, like college experience I could ever imagine.
Starting point is 00:02:39 It sounds very much like the punishment in hell where the dudes rolling the boulder up the hill, it feels like you're never going to leave math. Like math, regardless, you're always just every day going to have to be doing it, teaching it the same. And it's just, I mean, well, that is one good thing is math doesn't change. You just got to learn it. But thank God for those brave men and women that sign up to become math teachers, mathematicians. I got to be honest, being a math teacher, that truly sounds like a ring of hell. Now, that's sacrifice. That's dedication.
Starting point is 00:03:18 It is. It is. Being a math teacher is definitely a thankless job, probably, you know? Well, yeah, mostly due to, like, the school districts being shitheads. Yeah, my mom taught math to elementary school kids. Well, that's all she could really teach, right? Well, I mean, you use what you have and what you're able to put out into the world, right? I don't know rocket science, so I can't go teach that, but maybe I could give a course on hypothetical rocket science.
Starting point is 00:03:58 Sure. So my mom, the same thing. My mom, when it comes to math, it's elementary level. She knows that And no need to go any farther Well, why would you? We have calculators iPhones
Starting point is 00:04:11 You know, you're never going to have a calculator In your pocket in the real world Oh yeah? Well, I got a gizmo in my pocket A little gadget if you will That watch this He'll blow their minds Instantly calculator
Starting point is 00:04:24 And with a press of another Blop button A scientific calculator Oh my God Not even a press of a button Dude, you just got to rotate The damn gizmo Yeah
Starting point is 00:04:34 A little, and I'm sure, I'm sure there are apps out there that take that to the next level. Because the Apple's scientific calculator, you know, pretty dang good. I mean, I don't use it because I, how often are you and I finding a need for a scientific calculator? Yeah, not often. As YouTubers. But if I was someone that did math or science, I'm sure it's great. I'm sure it's awesome. I'm sure it's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:05:03 I'm sure it's very useful. I wonder if schools still force you to buy a $100 calculator. What was it, TI 83, TI. 82? Like 89, 82, 83. Dude, that was the biggest, like, calculators and textbooks. Like, that whole system is just the biggest load of bullshit. Because it's like, I remember college textbooks, they price them at, like, some of them are like 300, 400, 400 bucks for a fucking book.
Starting point is 00:05:32 And I remember they made it. part of the grade. So I found a PDF of one of the textbooks for free. And the professor was like, well, you're going to get a zero on that grade then. You need the textbook. And I'm like, I have the material. And apparently professors get commissions from textbooks. It's where the cracks begin to form where you're like, oh yeah, education is a business as well. Everything in our country is a business. We've talked about it before. Healthcare, education. It's all business. Podcasting. business is booming.
Starting point is 00:06:05 It's very obviously a business because we have ads which we're not going to quite yet. We wouldn't do that to you guys not that ads are a bad thing. They're actually pretty good for us. We love ads. We love all of us collectively. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:16 Like I see the comments. I know what the people want and the people, I mean, they're always going, more ads, more ads. And I go, guys, listen, we wish we could. We just don't have that many sponsors. But the moment we get an abundance, We will spill them out, willy-nilly, like you guys want. I know.
Starting point is 00:06:37 I mean, if you guys want, maybe we could just do a podcast that's just ads. Like the episode itself is sponsored. We got like bumpers coming up. And we have specific, just like one-off ads that aren't a part of the actual regular mid-roll reels that we already do that break away. It's like this one specifically for Audible. And it's like a whole two and a half minute long commercial. God, that would be amazing. And I know our fans would love it.
Starting point is 00:07:02 Hell, I'd love it. Advertisers are going to be like, well, maybe we should sponsor it. An alarm? It's the advertisers. Oh, shit. Who's calling me? My dad. It's my dad.
Starting point is 00:07:18 What? My dad. We were just talking about my dad and calling. And this is a rare occurrence. This might actually be something because he'd only call you if he were like hanging off a cliff and he needed to give you his last words. So anything outside of him. that. I take it up. He's like, son, I'm hanging off a cliff. You see like it started, like your iPhone starts dictating. He's calling me again. He's calling me again. I think you
Starting point is 00:07:45 should take it. But not on the, hey dad. All right. We're back. I took the call from my dad. He FaceTime me. I thought it was going to be, I don't know, by the tone of his voice, I thought it was going to be something serious. But he just wanted to show me a dog that he had hit with his truck on the highway. Oh. Is you proud of it? Well, he, like, was he like, look at this.
Starting point is 00:08:09 Well, he didn't say he was proud of it, but he definitely had a tone in his voice that I could, I mean, plausible deniability, of course, but I could read it as like. Like a slight vibration to his voice that could have been read as somewhat giddy. Yeah, it's like, well, dad, I mean, we haven't spoken in like three, four weeks maybe.
Starting point is 00:08:28 Why are you calling me for this? So it's almost like, you know, he hit the dog and then wanted just, to kind of show off, like, look at what my truck did. And he claimed it was because he wanted help identifying the breed of dog. For just to see he was curious? I guess, but I'll be honest. It was, even if I was an expert, it'd be pretty hard to tell.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Okay, he was going fast. It looked like. Huh. Yeah. I mean, I only saw, like, because he sent you a few pictures afterwards, he was, like, posing with it. Yeah. Like, almost like it was like a deary shot.
Starting point is 00:09:01 Well, it's almost like that. it's almost like there was someone behind the camera as if someone was going now do a silly one except those are the only pictures he took he only did silly ones I didn't actually connect the dots on someone had to have been taking that picture
Starting point is 00:09:18 I was watching the podcast today and then they started doing some improvisational bit about a dog being killed and it got really like mean and brutal and that's when I stopped when did you and it zooms out
Starting point is 00:09:33 They're all in a circle with like a cup of coffee. When did you stop the super mega support group? What was the last video you watched? When's the last time you watched a video? I've been clean for seven and a half months. Oh, really? Last one I watched was Baby's second oblivion. Oh.
Starting point is 00:09:52 What episode did you make it to? Baby's second oblivion. Oh, yeah. Well, you stopped a lot sooner. So that wasn't the series was Baby's first, second, third, whatever oblivium. Yeah. Yeah. Did they ever, like, start doing let's plays again?
Starting point is 00:10:10 Um, yeah, but they, they were really just kind of few and far between. And, uh, you can take a guess with the sketches. Oh, and the big project, yeah, need I say more? I was just going to think, I guess that was just the Jesus sketch. Oh, no, but, yeah, no. Because that's when I stopped. You didn't miss much. my dad's going to call me and be like
Starting point is 00:10:38 I'm never fucking you know why I only call you once every three weeks doesn't he listen to the podcast now okay like once or twice a year he'll casually bring up like I was listening to your podcast yesterday and I feel like he doesn't actually listen to it I feel like he just every now and then will see it pop up and someone that whispers in his ear you were mentioned by the way
Starting point is 00:11:01 possibly he might have like a team that he might have shooters on every corner. But he'll say that he'll bring something up that I mentioned. And maybe Dad, prove it. If you're, if you are listening to this episode, I would like to know. Is your mom listening to this episode?
Starting point is 00:11:18 I don't think she, I mean, my sister just had a baby, so my mom is definitely, she's, she's living with my sister right now. But you're one of her babies. You're one of her actual babies.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Right? Not that little fucking fraud. She can't, she can't just like, just flush away all of her responsibility. because she still has to be a mother to you and be supportive. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:11:39 It's very, it's very, excuse my French, fucking frustrating, you know, because I've been, I've been her baby boy for 30 years, right? I was her birthday present. And now because there's a new, like, like, baby, like, like, literal baby. Oh, so helpless. It's defenseless. It's reminding her of back when you were a little baby. Which would make me think that maybe she would call me more and et cetera, et cetera.
Starting point is 00:12:03 but I guess, oh, sorry, Matthew, my hands are full. Well, guess what, Mom? It's not your kid, all right? It's Sam's. And you know who is your kid? Matthew. Matthew is your baby boy. Not this new fucking fraud imposter that just decided to join the party uninvited.
Starting point is 00:12:26 Very uninvited, by the way. What if they grow up one day to make a disc track on you? Be very embarrassed. It would be humiliating from my. my ego. Because God, I'm sure the views aren't going to be good then. And they're just, they're just going to, they're going to clown on you. They're going to be whatever is TikTok at that because TikTok's not going to last. Well, TikTok might be around. Yeah, some things have staying power. Like YouTube's not going anywhere. Um, I mean, MySpace is coming back. Also,
Starting point is 00:12:56 isn't it always? Is it? Dude, right? Right. Like I saw a headline the other day. It's like, MySpace is finally making a comeback as a anti-algorob. rhythmic something and I'm like I swear once a year I see the headline that's like my space is coming back and it's always the picture of my space tom it's like road construction where it's like okay when's it going to get done though your tax dollars at work I love it the signs in California say that really big it'll be like your tax dollars at work estimated uh repathing will be done in 2029 there's heavy traffic and it's your fault exactly uh uh damn they i don't know if it's
Starting point is 00:13:36 california or if it's like everywhere in america but it takes a freaking long time for road work to complete i mean i get it because it's taking years for whatever because i don't know the extent you know i haven't broke broken in the end of the offices and looked at the blueprints
Starting point is 00:13:54 they have to do it at night usually so what's it doing in the morning worst time it's like uh usually like usually when i'm driving back the time I encounter roadkill, not roadkill, road work. Sorry, my dad, my, you know, my dad is, it's after he showed me, no, seriously, he's going to call me and be like, I did listen and
Starting point is 00:14:13 those, those things you made up about me hitting a dog with my truck. By the way, I would be able to tell what breed it is easy. I wouldn't need your help with that. I'm not an idiot, like you. Like, look at this one I hit last week. This is a pit bull. Obviously. And this one, Great Dane. That one did leave a dent. That, that, that damaged, the offender, but, but yeah, it's when I'm driving back from your house at like two or three a.m. That's when I run into the road worksman, the highway. It's got to suck for them because like that's just working late. I guess they have the day maybe. They sleep all day, I'm sure, and then, because they, they don't start, like a nurse. They don't start their shifts until
Starting point is 00:14:54 like really late at night just because that's when the highway is the least busy. And also it's the safest for them because it's the lowest. It's the lowest. amount of light for drivers to see them and that's when the most drunk drivers are out. So do you think more drunk drivers are out at night than at day? Well, because there's less cars at night and if you're an alcoholic, you're going to be drinking during the day. Well, I think by far the percentage of drivers that are drunk is way more night. Like the ratio to drunk to not drunk is higher at night.
Starting point is 00:15:28 Because a lot of people at like, how often, well, well, When I, I do see drunk drivers pretty frequently, and it's always at night, but also maybe it's because I'm more... Well, you tell them to roll down their windows and you throw them a can. What do you expect? Well, only if I can tell that they got party vibes. Because you have another can in your other handker. Come on! Yeah, and I raise my can. Well, you shake it. They didn't know that you shook theirs up. Oh, it's a classic prank. Oldest, the trick in the book. But, yeah, I see drunk drivers a lot. And maybe you just, don't notice it during the day because you're just kind of not looking for it. You're just like, this some idiot.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Yeah, it's like, this person sucks you driving. But at night, if it's you on the road and maybe like a couple other people, you see someone swerving, you're like, oh, they're drunk. I've been behind some really drunk drivers. But you're right, though, because alcoholics that drive drunk, they drive drunk just during the day at any time. I'm drunk right now. I'm drunk right now.
Starting point is 00:16:33 I haven't seen that movie and I quote it. So good dude. We got to watch you. Well, I watched up until the drop. You watched up? I've never seen up. Yeah. As much as I want to keep talking about flight with Denzel,
Starting point is 00:16:48 not Denzel Curry, Denzel Washington. Would have been a different movie. Would have been all. I mean, if the soundtrack was by Denzel Curry, that would have been cool. If it was a Denzel movie. He's rapping while he's flying the plane upside down. Honestly, like Denzel Curry could,
Starting point is 00:17:03 killed that role. Would have done a great job. But yeah, I haven't seen up. Can you believe that? That's crazy. There's, I mean, add it to the list. Crazy. You're taking crazy pills, Watson.
Starting point is 00:17:16 The C word in the big 2026? The big 26, really? I'm sorry. Let's take some space and show some ads and I'll calm down. Finally. All right. Welcome back. Somethingers.
Starting point is 00:17:51 No. No, no, like, like I said, Like, something jackers or, I don't know, just, Okay. Just like a just, like, a word with. I know, I, I understand what you were going for. Not a specific. Right, right.
Starting point is 00:18:11 No, I realized right away. Right. And I tried to take it back. But I couldn't. You did. But, but it's a, it's a. Something. It's a rope.
Starting point is 00:18:22 It doesn't. It's like one of those magicians things they pull out of the hat. And it's like, that's got to be at least three ribbons, right? And that's it. But then all of a sudden it's like, wait, four, five, six, seven? Like it could have been like, what's up, you lazy fuckers? You know, that like, some like that. Dick strokers. Yeah. Just like you couldn't think of it. So you said something errs. But, but, but, you know, there, unfortunately. Unfortunately, there's crass people in this world. There are crass people in this world. There are crass people in this world. whose brains might specifically go to something very crass. And that's their problem. Not Howard. Describing like one of the worst words in existence as crass. Like one of the most hateful, vitriolic, like awful, dehumanizing words. It's just being like, yeah, that's a crass one.
Starting point is 00:19:10 That's like how Michael Richards would describe it. Like, I said some crass things. God, when you went on Letterman to apologize. No, this is serious. And people are laughing and goes, You're laughing. I said some pretty nasty things to some Afro-Americans. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Michael. Michael. You could tell it's like he's really tiptoeing. He's walking on eggshells. Yeah. Oh, Michael. It was, he needs a new PR agent. He's been doing good for himself, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:19:42 He's still. Kramer. Hey, by the way, speaking of Kramer, God bless you. Speaking of Kramer. Michael Richards is going on tour for the first time since everything happened. With Jerry Seinfeld? No, absolutely not.
Starting point is 00:20:00 With Larry David? Just with himself. Oh. He's just playing with himself on stage. And, uh, well, no, he's not playing with himself on stage. But, but that would, he's like playing around with ideas. Well, it's basically, it's like a, it's an open night of discussion with the audience. Is that how it's described?
Starting point is 00:20:17 Yeah. So he's going to be the, he's going to be the white Dave Chappelle. brother he been the white Dave Chappelle I was like he been been the white Dave she he we've been known he's the white Dave shish I don't I don't know how to use this this slang Michael Richards probably does though yeah but I was gonna say we should go get tickets and go see if we can ask him a question ask him say hey Michael Richards have you read our book that you're heavily featured in it was on your Wikipedia page for years until recently when some fucking Wikipedia moderator decided it was not important enough to be on Michael
Starting point is 00:20:49 Richards Wikipedia page. Fuck you. Whoever did that, I bet it's the same person, the same fucking Wikipedia mod that we have a feud with that keeps removing the pop culture section of the star I bought for you. Well, we could always try instead of,
Starting point is 00:21:03 because Michael Richards' page is probably well sought after. Maybe we could, maybe you, uh, Drew Carey next. Oh yeah. Like someone like, Who's lining is anyway host? I'm sure we could get away with mentioning them and then having
Starting point is 00:21:15 something kept on his page. Because they're searching for stuff, you know? We should make that a goal of the next book to feature as many, like, minor celebrities. Not celebrities that are minors, but, like, minor, like celebrities that everyone knows their name,
Starting point is 00:21:31 but, you know, they're not doing much anymore. They're a little past their prime. We put it on a Wikipedia page thing. Very funny, guys. Yeah, we saw you typing that. Go ahead and delete it right now. Speaking of crass things. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:21:48 That's one of the most hateful and vitriolic things you can say. But we should just try to get as many celebrities like that because I'm sure they're not checking. They don't have someone like actively moderating. How, when's the last time someone edited Drew Carey's Wikipedia page? I can check it. You check right now. You can check right now.
Starting point is 00:22:08 I, it's in court. Like, I asked you, when's the last time you drank? Not when the last time someone edited Drew Kier. And you answer the question. You made it perfectly clear. Oh, Denzel Washington. Did you see his Macbeth or his Hamlet? Which one?
Starting point is 00:22:27 I think it was Macbeth. The black and white. On Apple, it was an Apple original, right? I saw the trailer. I wanted to see it. Did you see fences? I did. Did we see it together?
Starting point is 00:22:38 No, I watched it with my mom, with Viola Davis. Yeah. No. I do like Viola Davis a lot. She's great. Especially in How to Get Away with Marlowe. I said, how to get away with murder? I watched the whole show.
Starting point is 00:22:50 It was fantastic. Well, you love her in Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad. And don't forget. And, yes, I'm sorry, the Peacemaker Television TV series. She does have a cameo in. You're going down the list, Ryan, but you're forgetting the most important one. The Hunger Games spinoff movie. That's right.
Starting point is 00:23:12 She plays the woman with the snakes. And she's mean. She's a mean woman with a snake. She, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, she, and that's that's that's that's that's no metaphor euphemism she has a I think she has doesn't she have his pet snake or something she does and it gets lost in like a ballpins did you watch that movie I did yeah I did not
Starting point is 00:23:39 wait the one with the young young president snow yeah and I'll be honest has Rachel Ziegler and Dolazol I did not for I don't remember remember much about it, which is not a good sign, but I do remember watching it and being like, oh, I like the Hunger Games a lot and I like the cinematic universe. And honestly, I saw the trailer once a couple months ago, but the new one looks really good. That one Star studded. With, about Haymich when he was younger. Is that one the one the one with El Fanning or is the one that was the one with President Snow, the one with L. Fanning? I think the one with Snow was. But the Haymich one, I'm excited for because it's literally just another hunger games
Starting point is 00:24:20 where it's like we get to see the actual games but this time it's, what's the catchers like 100 people or there's like, I don't remember it's a lot, it's cool though, it's epic and I'm, yeah. I still think one creative choice I wish they did without was Hey Mitch's hair.
Starting point is 00:24:37 I wish they just got, I've lost the name of the actor for some reason. I was about to say William H. Macy, but it's not fucking. No, it's not what I was thinking. Not William H. Masey or Owen Wilson. Why can I remember?
Starting point is 00:24:49 It's Woody. Woody Allen. Woody Harrelson. Woody Harrelson. Imagine Woody Allen. Like, Woody Harrelson, like, as ball. Like, that would have been perfect for Hamish. The hair where it's like the beach boy.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Like the straight surfer beach boy. Like, it's very obviously looks like a wig. But imagine Woody Allen in that role with that hair. Okay. Now we're talking. The game's going to be very tough. The guy from ants. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:25:13 Dude, I forgot. I can't name a single Woody Allen. Like, I know of Woody Allen and his adventures, if you will. Did he do the Owen Wilson movie where he's like, walking around Paris? Is that the name of the movie? It's about a dude who's walking around Paris and he enters into like different time periods of Paris. He goes into the wardrobe. Something about Paris.
Starting point is 00:25:41 That sounds like a movie. Oh, the Paris music scene's pretty epic in the 70s. but you couldn't experience it, but now you're experiencing the culture of the French. Oh, does he go back to the French Revolution? By the way, French people have no culture.
Starting point is 00:25:56 They're swine. Literally the only thing I can think of is eating snails. And what's that good for in these days? You know who else eat snails? Like, I don't know, fucking raccoons or possums. Like, come on. Woody, bro, guess what?
Starting point is 00:26:12 Oh, never mind. Woody Allen's first name is Haywood. And for a second I was like, Heywood Woody Allen. Alan. Heywood Allen. Yeah, when I see him, I go, hey wood. But I forgot. I was like, that's the name of the guy from Hunger Games. Hey Mitch?
Starting point is 00:26:26 It's Hey Mitch. They should have named him Hey, Heywood. Heywood. I'm trying to see what he's made. Woody Allen has done Annie Hall midnight in Paris. That's it. That's the movie with Owen Wilson where he has a hand in his pocket and he's walking around Paris going, oh, yeah. Doesn't the poster kind of give that vibe to?
Starting point is 00:26:46 he has the poster Can we Luke Can you just show the poster It's literally It's blue and yellow Or whatever right
Starting point is 00:26:56 It's Van Gogh Yeah And it's just Him walking With his hands in his pockets Yeah That's the Oh wow
Starting point is 00:27:02 Paris is pretty sweet Man Oh wow Wow By the way Drew Carey's Wikipedia page Yeah
Starting point is 00:27:08 Last edited Take a guess 24 Days Yeah 40 I was going with 24 Jeff Gordon's number
Starting point is 00:27:20 Yeah Greatest race car driver of all time NASCAR Greatest television show of all time too Jack Bauer Agent Jack Bauer Who by the way His dad played President Snow
Starting point is 00:27:30 In the Hunger Games In real life Not Jack Bauer's Jack Bauer's dad Played President Snow Yeah Keith Keith Donald Sutherland
Starting point is 00:27:40 Yeah Donald Sutherland That's his dad RIP I know He was great The last edit was July 3rd, 2026 by a user named The Incendiary. And what did they change? They changed political views on the page.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Tell me. There's a... Okay, they changed... I don't know why it's... I must know is political views. Yeah, but then the thing is literally about something at Disney World that they changed. It's a... In the show, a camera follows Carrie through a day as an undercover to
Starting point is 00:28:16 detective when his camera, when his video camera fails, the audience is left in complete darkness wearing earphones following his adventure through sound cues. The attraction, now this is what it, here's the change. Here's what it originally said prior to July 3rd. The attraction is now closed. And they changed it to. The attraction closed in 2012. Just so they could like an excuse for them. I guess they added a 2012. Well, why not the specific date? Can we go in there and add the specific date at closed? Guys, I would like Drew Carey's Wikipedia page to please be updated to include the specific date from 2012 in which
Starting point is 00:28:50 they closed it. Because that's a public record. Right. And that should be Freedom of Information Act. That knowledge belongs to the people. That belongs to us. Using the freedom of information for something that you could just go find out.
Starting point is 00:29:06 Like we have no record of that. See, they're covering it up. The DOJ is trying to hide the truth from us. Well, they are in other aspects. But God, the White House is coming out with some good shit on their website. Oh, some bangers. Some absolute bangers.
Starting point is 00:29:22 And all the people that were, I love it mainly just because all the people that were skeptical of the government, like, essentially what it seems like from birth, look at like what's written on there sometimes. And they just go, see, I told you I was right. It's definitely an interesting turn. It's a little case of confirmation bias, you know. You just look at you look for what confirms your own beliefs and but it look but the pages look There's got to be something to the design no no that really pisses me off as a graphic as a graphic designer I got to be honest the They have an official
Starting point is 00:30:00 Like This administration has an official graphic design team like that you can apply to be a part of And I looked at their website and It's unfortunate that they like the graphic design that they like the graphic design that that the White House uses, it's pretty good. And, you know, I hate to admit that it's like, well, I mean, they got some talented graphic designers. But, well, but I mean, that's also, and some of you might roll your eyes at this. But, I mean, that's kind of also a big point in fascism sometimes is the, like, attractive nature.
Starting point is 00:30:40 Like Nazis had the really, you know, snazzy uniforms and shit and nice haircuts. you know so it's like well he did that big Hitler did that big speech demanding nice haircuts he said everyone come on what are we doing as a country here yeah let's get this haircut and then from there it just kind of spiraled out of control just domino effect started with just wanting good haircuts and and one thing led to another he meant well he meant well but you know yeah that's just kind of what how history happened dude if anyone ever you know what do you think of, you know, like this Hitler guy and their response is exactly what you just said? He meant well.
Starting point is 00:31:20 I mean, it just kind of got out of control, you know. You might be a red flag. Like, I mean, you know, I think he was very talented. You know, like, you might be a redneck. You might be. I like that. Jeff Foxworthy. I love him.
Starting point is 00:31:36 What's he doing these days? Wasn't the last time his, well, he's probably, he probably still goes on tour like every month or some shit. Hey, the blue collar tour boy. Jeff Foxworthy. Wikipedia page in pop culture. In episode 128 of the Super Mega podcast. Jeff Foxworthy. About this specific page.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Right, right. Jeff Foxworthy was discussed by the hosts. I wish it was that monumental. See, like if Taylor Swift talked about it on a podcast on her boyfriend's or husband's podcast. Which he's one of the highest paid podcasters in the world. No, he is. Which, I mean, that doesn't, I mean, yes, that makes sense. Just through, it's crazy that, like, you can, your podcast can just, it's all who you know, baby.
Starting point is 00:32:31 In this town, in this sweet little town of ours, Hollywoodland, it's all about connections, baby. You just got to marry, like, a Taylor Swift or a Zendaya or a. or a Carly Ray Jebson type, you know? I mean, could we, could we settle for, I don't know, um, someone that, like, uh, um, the woman who played Angela on the office. I mean, she's famous. I have seen her pop up and ads and stuff. They're using the office big time in marketing campaigns in the past like half decade.
Starting point is 00:33:11 You know why? because nostalgia for us oldies. Dude, I saw this yesterday and I have not fact-checked it. I'm a notorious fact-checker, as you know, and especially on the podcast. But there's a like Finnish version of the office from Finland, Finland. And they look so like, I don't know how to describe it. but like these these dudes look like if you drew the most finished caricatures of like like like i feel like i have to like look it up it's it's actually pretty crazy just if i look up finish
Starting point is 00:33:54 the office yeah um and i look look through the throw this picture on screen of the four characters uh as soon as ryan reacts so everyone can see it at the same time as ryan and get the same reaction you see it wait is it these people it is but that's not the picture so Luke, don't put the picture on it that part. There's this one. I'll show you. It's what's it called contori? The finish office. Hey, I mean, yeah, you and I should finish our office,
Starting point is 00:34:25 and we've been working on it. Oh, we're getting there. I have no service. It'll be, it'll be kind of like night and day. I saw it on X the Everything app, so I'm trying to load. Our office, it got leaked? No, no, no, no, no. We've been working hard.
Starting point is 00:34:37 We want to show it off when it's ready, and I don't want. Don't worry. It's not, it's not, no. We do we have leaks? Yes. but from the pipes. Bro, internet, what are you doing? I'm connected to the Wi-Fi extender, Ryan.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Hold on. There it is. Found it. Boom. All right. You got to show this picture at the same time. The first thing that comes up is Asian Jim the Office. When I look up the Finnish office. Is there a Chinese gym?
Starting point is 00:35:05 Is there a Chinese office? No, it's just, it's from the original the office. Here. Right? I love the bottom right. Is that Dwight? That's got, to be Dwight. That's Dwight. That's Jim.
Starting point is 00:35:20 Bottom right. Jim's the top right. I know. I love how Jim looks like handsome Squidward in the Finnish version. The Finnish people be looking weird AF on going. I'm just saying. We probably have so many Finnish people that watch us and now
Starting point is 00:35:35 they're probably going to stop. No, they're not. You're going to say until Matt apologizes to the Finnish people and the Finnish land, Finland. Okay, Finland. I would like to, okay, I'd like to issue a form sorry, no, if I start it like that,
Starting point is 00:35:50 people are gonna go, it's like when a kid apologizes and they don't mean it. Should we get to go to some more ads so that it gives you time? Yeah, I need to actually be thoughtful with this one. So can you give me like 20 minutes to write something else? 20 minutes.
Starting point is 00:36:04 What, you want me to apologize? We're back. I had 20 minutes. Or I had about an hour and a half. Sorry, it took so long. Yeah, I mean, there's better stuff that that time could have been used for.
Starting point is 00:36:36 We're trying to get the, it's fine. Well, I don't know. We don't need to get into it. I think you just focus on the apology. I think apologizing to a portion of our audience is very important. And by the way, I checked the analytics in the last 365 days. Finland people constituted they were our 11th most popular demographic. That's almost in the time.
Starting point is 00:36:59 top 10? Well, the last 28 days, they were number nine. Oh, shit. Yeah. Finland moving on up. Two spaces, two whole spaces. I know. And maybe after this one, I don't know. I might. We can only hope that. Well, after, depending on how this apology goes, they might just disappear completely off the, off the map or they might shoot up. I was hoping your apology can, luckily have a small chance at rectifying the damage you have caused. Well, it will be I'll scan it and it will be scrolling on screen as well
Starting point is 00:37:32 So, you know, maybe those who are listening impaired Can, well, I don't know why you'd be listening to a podcast You could watch it and read our lips Right, you can you, that's very, can you read our lips now? That's very ablest and rude I, do you want to have to type out an apology too? No And that one wouldn't have to be in sign language
Starting point is 00:37:53 Okay Deere Finland viewers. I am writing to apologize for my behavior on August 12 at Super Mega Show episode 128. I am writing to apologize for my behavior on August 12,
Starting point is 00:38:09 2026, at Super Mega Show episode 128. I would like to offer my sincerest apologies to you and all parties affected. I recognize that my conduct was completely unacceptable and may have caused offense to you and other colleagues. On reflection, I realized that I should not
Starting point is 00:38:24 have made crass remarks about the appearance of people from Finland, and instead should have made the remark about Italians. I would like to take this opportunity to explain my behavior to give you context as to why I acted that way. Offer an explanation of the bad behavior without giving an extent. To avoid instances of this happening again in the future, I will not be making crass remarks about the appearance of people from Finland. Please accept my wholehearted apologies for the hurt and upset I may have caused by my actions. I ask for forgiveness and can assure you so not happen again. I will strive to you better in the future, is Celie Matthew Watson.
Starting point is 00:38:58 Okay. Colleagues? I used a template on Adobe Express. There's an apology template on Adobe Express. Right here. It helped me out. Yeah. So I hope that viewers from Finland feel a little better. There's a lot of apology templates on Adobe Express, by the way.
Starting point is 00:39:27 So guys, I mean, if you have something to apologize for, head on over to Adobe Express. A missed date. Yeah, a missed date. Maybe you hurt someone accidentally, their heart or their body. Or on purpose even. Yeah. Like maybe you kill somebody and you. And you feel really bad about it.
Starting point is 00:39:46 You're listening from jail because you have computer access. You have internet access on like your, you know, free time. Or you got one of those iPhones they sell sometimes. Right. You can go on Adobe Express. and use one of these apology templates, and you can apologize to the family. I mean, that's pretty awesome.
Starting point is 00:40:06 That's making the world a better place. Technology, huh? Right? Isn't that amazing? Where would we be without technology? Smacking rocks together. Sounds boring. Not fun.
Starting point is 00:40:17 No, not fun at all, man. Trying to start, dude, your whole day would depend on if you can make a damn fire. I mean, also, I think of where we live right now. If we had to make a fire, we'd have to be careful not to burn down the rest of our home. How many times do you think like an ancient humanoid... Started a forest fire? Accidentally, like, they're just trying to cook like a bog day found.
Starting point is 00:40:45 It's like, man, this grasshopper's going to be good once I cook it and just... It sounds like, you know, he was going to go up and finally give, you know, berries and flowers to the cavewoman he loved. and she well and he comes out of the out of the bushes and all sudden he gets a lay of the land with all the little huts and then he sees her snuggled up to some chad with a spear and maybe holding the horn of like a mammoth or some shit like that and australaphythus or something yeah like a big a big guy he's going he looks at the berries and crushes them and the flowers he has to go prove himself and he goes out into the wilderness it's like I will make fire. We've only heard legends of this technology. My village has done well without it.
Starting point is 00:41:35 But he comes from a tribe that they have not ever been able to successfully do that. And he's going to be the one to do it. Right. And he works day and night. He's going to win the girl over the course of several days. Oh, sleepless night as well. He doesn't sleep. He starts like smacked like hitting a boulder with a rock and the boulder whittles down to like
Starting point is 00:41:55 where his shin. are. But it's a, now it's a perfect sphere. Yeah. How much he's hit it. And now he's at the point it's like nighttime. You hear the crickets. Are, ooh, ooh! And it's like pretty silent, except he's about to give up. For the rhythm of just a slow
Starting point is 00:42:11 and slacked he's not even looking at it. He's like looking off to the side falling asleep, yeah. Wakes him up instantly. He gets excited for a second until what? An ember travels from the fire.
Starting point is 00:42:29 into the tree, into the, into the lush pines in which he lives. The conifers? The conifers, dude. Oh, geez. Oops. And then there's the whole, he pulls his like a necklace with teeth on it and goes, gulp. You know?
Starting point is 00:42:48 I mean, that would be like, terrifying. Also, think about how fast a pine tree, a little pine tree would just go up and start crackling. Probably scare the shit out. He probably ran away. He's trying to, but he doesn't know that they. Holding his feet They're all big in red and throbbing And then his ass catches on fire
Starting point is 00:43:09 And he starts screaming and running in a circle And bouncing And the arcs of the bounces Or where there's smoke is And then he runs around screaming and bouncing With his ass on fire And he sees a little tiny puddle Like a bucket of water
Starting point is 00:43:24 And he runs and he puts his ass And he goes and he goes And then everything else goes up in flames because all of a sudden he looks it was actually a place where someone was collecting some some oil it was the one of the caveman oil
Starting point is 00:43:41 they discovered oil they discovered oil they discovered oil and they were they had to take a pee and they left the oil there forgot where they put it like damn it where's that oil because he had the true this is someone who had to travel a cave person who had to travel
Starting point is 00:43:52 pretty far from the bucket because he wanted to make sure that he was out of anyone's sight because he's a little he's a little not that he has anything to be embarrassed about but he is more of a private person. He doesn't want anyone viewing his parts unless it's with the woman that he's
Starting point is 00:44:05 married to for life. Sure. Also, I mean, or caveman. They were very progressive back then. It was a different time. And also, he is a bit of a shy, he has a shy bladder. You know, if someone is around, try and try as hard as he will, you know, that stream's not starting. No. I, I experienced that, and it's very tough. So I, I sympathize with him, so I understand walking farther off. But, man, how mad would my caveman ass be if I forgot where I put that oil? Guys, I found this.
Starting point is 00:44:42 It's delicious. They're just eating it. I mean, he's back then. What would they, they'd be like, ew, it would feel weird. It would, they get all like high. Whoa. Dude. Also, it's crude.
Starting point is 00:44:57 It's just, like, it's crude oil. So it's just black, thick, like, now. Nasty fucking... Have you ever seen the videos where... Which, hold on. By the way, incredible storytelling. Your imagination knows no limits. I know.
Starting point is 00:45:10 That was wonderful. Thank you. Have you ever seen the videos where it's like... I've seen them on Reddit? Because I'm, you know, I'm a Redditor. And I've seen... You're a Reddit head, huh? I'm a Reddit head.
Starting point is 00:45:21 I, you know, I'll be the first to admit it. I'm a Reddit head. Are you an old person as well? I'm an old person as well. But... I'm an old fella But basically It's like I've seen videos where someone's like
Starting point is 00:45:38 What the what the hell's going on on my on my property in my yard? And they'll be like filming the like dirt And it will just be like Literally just crude oil bubbling up Just like What is this? What's going on? You make a lot of money off of that Everyone's like yeah you probably shouldn't make this too public
Starting point is 00:45:57 The government's going to come in by the land kick you off of it or if you won't sell they will force you off one way or another they'll say hey actually they'll fire a cannon
Starting point is 00:46:09 into your home they'll draw and quarter you have one week or that cannon atop the hill will be fired every night he looks up and sees the silhouette
Starting point is 00:46:19 on top of the hill of the cannon in front of the moon in front of the full moon yeah yeah and he's like oh shit
Starting point is 00:46:26 he's got to make a choice each night it's turned more towards his house. It's like at the first night it's a side profile. That way it establishes it's a canon. Otherwise you'd be like, what is that?
Starting point is 00:46:38 All right. But then each night, it turns more directly. The canon master. The canon maister. The canon maister comes. And he rotates it, he rotates it a perfect seventh
Starting point is 00:46:50 of the way of 90 degrees. I'm pointing it to him. Right. And what happens? He doesn't. he doesn't leave even though he can see visually
Starting point is 00:47:02 his days are numbered in the amount of swivels the cannon turns each day yeah which is one one swivel each day certain distance
Starting point is 00:47:12 to make it an even seven in the moon very astronomically rare phenomenon but this was a week where the moon was full every night
Starting point is 00:47:21 and like creating a silhouette each time big moon behind a hill it just stayed right behind where that canon was just astronomically rare
Starting point is 00:47:31 but uh can the fuse be like I was gonna say a big like super long so it's like he there's enough time for like the final day they light the fuse yep but he goes out like a man he goes and he sits on his front portion his rocking chair and he cracks open a a soda pop
Starting point is 00:47:51 and I thought of good the Canonmeister on the final day has a rocking chair that he sits and they gaze at each other because he has to make sure when it goes out goes out. It's super tense and it's about the, it's about to finish and explode, but the fuse does accidentally go out because his rocking
Starting point is 00:48:07 chair that he scooted over covers up the fuse close to the cannon. So it goes, and he goes, but he's there just to keep because it's a long fuse if it's going to last all day. He's there to make sure the fuse keeps going. Right. But unfortunately sometimes his own rocking chair does mistakenly put out
Starting point is 00:48:23 the fuse itself. Because it does like loop rig. That's a long fuse. It's a huge. It's a huge. coil. And sometimes it lights a part of, like a later part of the fuse will light a more closer part. And that's, that's not, that's not cool. It ends up burning through a whole part of the coil. Thus, it ruins the fuse. So he has to actually replace the fuse. And that takes an hour and a half at least in of itself. And the cannonmeister wears a helmet with a cannonball on top of it. Right. See, guys, I mean, we, guys, we've published.
Starting point is 00:48:57 Oh, we know what we're doing. We know what we're doing. We, guys, you know, you can say, what are these stupid fucking little make-believe stories you're telling? Guess what? First off, how rude to say that to someone in person? Crass. They're just being creative.
Starting point is 00:49:10 Right. You're at a dinner and they interrupt whatever you're saying. Listen, to give you this new thing that no one's ever heard before. An improvisational story. If I went out to dinner with someone for the first time and I didn't know them and they just started going off like this. I've been like thinking about this story. Not if I just tell you?
Starting point is 00:49:26 And I kind of, I'm going to kind of make it. it up as I go because I feel like just saying it aloud will like create the inspiration. There's a guy named the Canon Meister. Oh, sorry, let me back on. But yeah, these aren't just silly make-believe stories. These are silly make-believe stories from two authors. We could make a children's book called the Canon Meister and sell it. Like, we could make that in a week.
Starting point is 00:49:54 We could do the art ourselves. Oh, my God. and then people would be confused when they see it's like oh children's book is it for children or is it by children that's that's kind of what I'm confused on The Canon Meister It sounds like a story I would have
Starting point is 00:50:08 I would have like written and drawn in like second grade Wait I remember I had a kid's book way back then It was called like the canon Oh the Canon Meister Yes yes yes dude with the dude on the hill with the cannon Because they're trying to get the guy And it like turns every every like hour
Starting point is 00:50:26 day or something. Yeah, it was a week. Okay, okay. He had a week to move out of his house. That's right, that's right. I remember how it ends. Well, with the long, well, the fuse. Well, I don't remember how it ends.
Starting point is 00:50:37 I don't think, uh... Oh, they, they gave up on the ending, I think. It just kind of ends. I mean, but, but that was kind of magical as a kid because then we got to create our own ending. Yeah. For me, he always... There are blank white pages for us to draw out the end.
Starting point is 00:50:53 He's like, now you choose how this story ends. It's, we should do that for our next book. Dude, we should finish the trilogy. Just like, send it back in and we'll read on the second edition. It'll have an ending. We'll pick the best one. Yeah. But I like to imagine the canonmeister blew the dude up.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Just, do you think you could draw the canonmeister pretty well, like in a children's book art form? Yeah. I could draw the environment. Is this going to be a thing where now we're going to show the... That is more work for us. I mean, I could draw the Canon Meister pretty easy. And I'll do the background environment.
Starting point is 00:51:35 Should I get that done before you draw the Canon Meister? No. No, no, no, no, no. That's going to be tough for me. Okay. Let me draw the Canon Meister, and then you design the background around him. Yes. Now, the thing is, it would take me a real long time to make this in a certain style that looks good.
Starting point is 00:51:49 This is going to be a preliminary sketch of the Canon Meister. Like a storyboarding of the Canon Meister. Right, right. with a beautiful colored background with crayon. Oh, okay. Maybe. Hey, when I was organizing the office last week, I found our box of crayons. And part of me went, man, when are we going to use these?
Starting point is 00:52:06 And I almost tossed them. Thank God you didn't. And I, you know what? And I said, I said, you know what? No, I could see us using these crayons. So I saved them. I couldn't think of a better note to end the podcast on. Oh, my God, you're right.
Starting point is 00:52:19 It's just such a positive, like, well, like, but, you know, we will talk a lot. We will talk a little more over on the Patreon. You know, so if you want to support us. You can get your name on this list? Do you see all these names on screen right now? They're special. There's more, some people might seem more special than others. And, well, that's because they are.
Starting point is 00:52:34 They are more special, just objectively. The ones with the emojis next to their names are categorically, you know, more special. Every single one of them, every week. Every one, all of them are special. All the names. Every week, though, those ones, you're, there's like a hundred-something different emojis, or avatars, icons, emodic. emoticons, your name will get assigned a random one.
Starting point is 00:52:56 Maybe you'll get Pepe the Frog, who knows? That was part of those. It's the raffle. They do it up until they do, and then they're like, I'm done. Yep, I got Pepe the Frog. I got the screen, I got the screencap. You could have Photoshopped it. No, no, no, no, no, it had to be real. No, it's there.
Starting point is 00:53:09 Well, I got, well, I mean, I don't remember which episode. I might have to go through about 40 of them. Yeah. But we love you guys. Thank you for the support. And like Ryan said, hit head over to our Patreon. If you want more of this episode and more of every episode of this show and stickers and behind the scenes content and exclusive shows.
Starting point is 00:53:25 Yeah. A few goofs here in there. And the full res scan of the Canon Meister artwork. True. Yes. And the full scan of the letter, the apology letter. That will also be on there. Both things. So everyone can view it.
Starting point is 00:53:41 Also, you get the podcast without ads early. And you get to whip and nay, nay free of charge. That's true. That's true. All right. Goodbye, everyone. See you. Done?
