Starting point is 00:00:00 The risk of being weird is worth the risk of taking. That's such a good point. And I'm going to put that on my forehead with tattooing. The risk of being weird. Is that really good? Welcome to Sydney. I'm the Sud one. I'm the Olivia one. Today we have no other ones.
Starting point is 00:00:30 We have no other ones. We did have another one. We had one other one. It was the ghost of Christmas. passed and he was canceled. He was canceled. He was canceled for things that are like really vague right now. He's been saying a lot of really dark and eerie things online and alluding to groups of people that we're not even sure who he's talking about. He's been saying a lot of stuff about the full story is going to come out and not saying any more details. Like for months now, he's been
Starting point is 00:01:04 like, the full story is going to come out. Wait till you hear my side. Wait till you hear the full story. And I'm like, bitch, I don't even know half the story. Yeah, I don't know what the allegations are. Are you talking about the story of Christmas? No, I don't know. I don't know what the allegations are. And I don't know the full story of Christmas of him being a thousand percent honest. I think that's fair.
Starting point is 00:01:20 To be honest, I think the things that the ghost of Christmas passed are saying, we have to take with a grain of salt because he is from a different time. He's from a different time. And honestly, yeah, like, if the ghost of Christmas future was getting canceled, I would be a little bit weirded out. I'd be like, what kind of direction are we headed in as a community as a society. Yeah. And also like, I feel like, I feel like, if the ghost of Christmas future. he's pretty straightforward in what he is. Which is?
Starting point is 00:01:41 He just, he's a sort of like a grim reaper that points at your grave, right? For sure. We have champagne today. We brought champagne today. Yeah. So this is a drink. This is a drinking. This is a drinking game.
Starting point is 00:01:52 Today is 1037 a.m. Yes. Today, guys, we are shooting this on the date of 1037 a.m. And, um, I brought champagne from the 7-Eleven, which means it's the good kind. Oh, that is the good. It's from the expensive 7-11? Yeah. Sid's got an unnecessarily.
Starting point is 00:02:09 expensive 7-Eleven near her place that truly isn't like a bougie 7-1. No, it's normal style. It's a normal style 7-Eleven. But they'll be like, well, what if the Doritos were $13? And it's like, it's not. I don't think they should be. I can get them most places not. I have door-dashed things from a different 7-Eleven and it was cheaper than going down the street to my 7-Eleven. What are they doing there?
Starting point is 00:02:32 I think some magical, magical crimes. Magical crimes. We brought champagne because we never celebrate things. Oh my God. That's so true. We don't celebrate things. We have this thing where we go like, oh, something's happening. Well, whatever. I guess the next thing will be bad and this is probably going to end up bad. If something good happens, we like bear it and get through and go like, okay, we can do it. Just push through it. And then when something good happens, we go like, okay, probably going to be bad. Let's just push through it. But I think today we should celebrate that we're going on tour. Okay. Do you think I can open this? You can, and if you can't, I will. Watch me ruin the cameras. That was horrifying.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It is scary, but then, okay, so that's good. So that's the jug. So the good news is we have the jug. We have a big jug. Guys, we are going on tour, and someone said something really genius. And I don't know who said it, and I'm going to find out. But someone said, sit and Olivia shit the road. Yeah, it's someone.
Starting point is 00:03:42 Someone on our comments said that. I think on Instagram, whoever you are, the person who said that, oh, thank you. Person you said that, that's awesome. So here's to you, Sidney and a Lovie, shit the road. Cheers. Cheers. It let you in my nose.
Starting point is 00:04:01 Hmm. What happened to you? What happened to you? So what happened? So it went a little like, you know, We're going on tour. We're going to these places. Yeah, we're going to a lot of places.
Starting point is 00:04:18 And low-key, we might be even potentially adding some places. So if you're not in one of these places and you're like, I know a venue or I am a venue, you can tell us that. So here are the places we're going. Going to. We are going to Boston, Brooklyn, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver, Portland and Seattle.
Starting point is 00:04:48 And maybe more. And maybe more. The ticket link will be in the description of this, wherever you're listening to or watching this. It's just our link tree. You can also find it in the buyover Instagram. Yep, yep, yep. Well, here's the thing. It's like we've never been on tour, right?
Starting point is 00:05:05 We've been on vacation with each other. We've never been on tour. We've been on similar things. work trips here and there, but not a city-by-city adventure like we're a band. That's correct. And I think what's so cool about this is that now we have to become a band, right? Right. Like, because bands go on tour.
Starting point is 00:05:23 And bands go on tour. They fuck up hotel rooms. Yeah. They get wasted. They commit heinous acts. Yeah. Right? And I think we don't do that that much in our lives anymore.
Starting point is 00:05:38 Yeah. I think a lot of our heinous acts were in our early. earlier 20s. What's the most heinous thing you've ever done? The most heinous act you've ever committed. Oh my gosh. Wait. I actually have to think because I'm very paranoid about ever like committing a heinous act. Right. So I have to like really think because I'm like there's things that I would be like, that was heinous. And then other people would be like that's literally just a normal person thing. Like, you know, being like, oh, one time I set a boundary. Like, you know, and then I'm like, that's heinous. There is something I'm very ashamed of. Yeah. I can think of something I'm very ashamed of for
Starting point is 00:06:10 sure. There's something I'm very ashamed of and I think about it a lot. I love that. That's beautiful. Shame is gorgeous. It was one time in college I was really hungover and I just needed a bottle of water from a Trader Joe's and I grabbed a bottle of water and I started drinking it and I was like, I'm going to pay for this. So I'll just like start drinking it. And then I realized it was coconut water. It tasted a lot different and I didn't like it and I shut it and I put it back. I thought you were going to say you threw it out. You put it back. Well, your karma just hit me because I just bought a dry shampoo from CVS that someone used all of them. Wait, what?
Starting point is 00:06:49 I took off vacation, and it was like a mini one. It just completely used. And I was like, you used all of it and put it back? It was crazy. I also remember the time that I had ordered a burrito and somebody had taken a bite out of it? Yes, that's also. I ordered a burrito, like, off of, like, DoorDash. And somebody had taken a bite out of it.
Starting point is 00:07:11 Like a cartoon bite was taken out of my burrito. And I was like, what are you talking about? Oh, my God. Oh, I did something. I did something. Oh, I did something I'm super ashamed of, but it all became okay. I'm a friendly, friendly person. I know this about you.
Starting point is 00:07:30 I'm a golden retriever from a shelter. I wish I was a regular golden retriever. One? I will be. What are you talking about? Maybe I'll be a boar collie one day. What are you talking about? I'm like a dog that's like,
Starting point is 00:07:41 Yay, but then sometimes... You're a Boston Terrier. I am a Boston Terrier. But sometimes I forget is basically the thing. That you're a dog? No, in general. I have a lot of things going on. No, you remember everything.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I do. I do. I remember every detail of everything that's ever happened. But then I don't remember like... Because you have so many memories. Yeah, I don't remember like where I put my keys. Sometimes you have so many memories that you forget. Truly my entire experience.
Starting point is 00:08:04 That is my entire life. And the things I forget are things that are important, like to answer an email or to respond to someone or to where did my keys go, I actually am late. I see what you mean. And the things I remember are like, you were sitting over there and you said this. And I was standing like this. And I had my head like this. And then I said this and then you, and like, that's not helpful.
Starting point is 00:08:24 Right. But I'm bad at responding. I'm really bad at responding. And I, I, um, had a while ago realized that this artist I really like, who I think is just like the coolest. Musical artist. Musical artist. Her name's Desi. Shout out.
Starting point is 00:08:41 to Desi. Desi and I realized like she followed me or we followed each other and I was just like oh my God fuck yes I love your music I think you're so fucking cool she's like the coolest and we had like this really nice little like back and forth she was like I like your guys and stuff and I was like oh this is so fucking cool and then I was like yay
Starting point is 00:09:01 and then recently she has this hoodie that just says rage on it and then on the back it says nothing left to do but eat the rich which is one of the lyrics for her song rage And I was like, that's a really fucking good hoodie. I got to get that hoodie. So I got the hoodie. And I was like, oh, I'm going to just like DM her and be like, hey, I got the hoodie. Just so you know, like so fun.
Starting point is 00:09:21 DM her. I realize the last thing she sent to me. Oh, no. Like that I completely ghosted on was just like friends. Oh, sad. And I ghosted on that because I didn't see it or I saw it and I was like and I don't know if I don't Did you see it? Because if it says scene. I know. That's the thing is I don't know. Because one of two things happened. Either I saw it and I got nervous because I was like, wait, she's cool. I have to make sure I respond to this in a cool way, which is a thing I do all the time. Or if someone texts me that I know and I'm like, you know, I'll be like, oh, I don't have the right energy to respond to this. I don't have a good enough response right now. My response isn't going to be good. I have to like that happened. That's like the reason I don't text back. I see a text and I go like, I don't have it's not, I'm not good enough right now. Like I don't have enough. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:10:11 Like it's not good. Like, ah. And what about when it texts is like, are you going to this thing? I then I'll go like, but I don't know a thousand percent if I'm going to the thing. And I need to give like a definitive answer. And I'll give a definitive answer. I will. And then like I just, it just.
Starting point is 00:10:24 Oh, and then what's this? And that's bad. I got to fix that. But I was like, I was like, oh, fuck me, dude. Like, because she actually doesn't know me. So she might think I'm just some total bitch who's like, yay, love you. Get the fuck away from me. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:10:38 And so then I sent back a thing being like. like, wow, social fumble of the century. Wow, I'm so sorry. Oh, my God. So sorry. But that's something I was ashamed of recently. For sure. Should we look up the ghosts in the cities that we're going to?
Starting point is 00:10:54 Oh, my God, the most famous, like, haunted or weird. Yeah. Should we look up most famous Brooklyn ghosts? Yeah, most famous Boston ghosts. Oh, yeah. Most famous Boston ghosts. Probably tea party vibes. Because maybe we can invite them on to our, onto our,
Starting point is 00:11:09 onto our show because the thing is we might not have a ton of extra chairs but a ghost doesn't need a chair or a microphone. So true. Okay, this is really exciting. So the lady in black at Fort Warren to me seems like absolutely someone that I would love to have on the pod. Yep. Who is she? She's, well, she was Melanie Lanier. She was during the Civil War. She allegedly disguised herself as a man and infiltrated the Union prison at Fort Warren to free her Confederate husband. Oh, dang it's evil Mulan. Girl. Evil Mulan. Girl, don't do backwards Mulan. Oh, fuck. Dark Mulan. Dark Mulan.
Starting point is 00:11:48 I hate this. Dark Bostonian Mulan. Okay, so she's not invited to the tour, actually. Yeah, there was a scuffle. A pistol was just charged, killing her husband, and she was hung, hanged. You know what I was thinking about is that we're going to have to take a bunch of probably Ubers to get to different places. soon? Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:12:10 Are you okay? Mm-hmm. What's happening? What was that? So what happened was when I took the sip. It's not very good. It expanded very big in my mouth. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:23 The foam got so big in my mouth that if I were to close my mouth normal style, it would have all spilled out. Sure, sure, sure. So I had to tilt my head backwards with my mouth open, wait for some of the bubbles to evaporate into the air, wait to feel that it got a little bit smaller. Once it got smaller, was able to close my mouth around it. This is champagne as bad. I am enjoying it, but I would say like the way I think it's bad is like physically.
Starting point is 00:12:46 Like it's physically bad. Like it's like attacking me every time I drink it. I feel you. I'm fine. I don't care. Yeah, yeah. What I was going to say is we're probably going to be taking like a lot of Uber's and stuff. And now they do a thing on Uber where you can have a female driver.
Starting point is 00:13:00 Yes. Have you seen the ads for this? I have. And here's the thing. On one hand, obviously, totally good idea safety-wise. No, no. Sorry. This is a great idea of safety-wise.
Starting point is 00:13:10 you eyes, however. However. How do they know your gender identity? Well, that's true. That's true. I hope that a guy can't, I hope that like a cis man, a straight cis man on the app can't be like, only women. Yeah, that's my thing is I couldn't see like a weird pervy guy being like, perfect. Now I can only be driven by women. 100%. Yeah. Is that a thing that only? I don't know. And what if you're, what if you're non-binary or trans? Does Uber know that? And what if you're more comfortable with women because cis men can be threatening. I don't know. Here's something I'm going to say that is going to get me fucking canceled.
Starting point is 00:13:48 It's really bad, but it is really funny. What? While I agree with the safety element of that. Yeah. We'll also point out that for you and I, the two most unhinged, unsafe Uber drivers we've ever had. We're women. We're girl bosses. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:08 And I loved them. Like I would so much rather be unsafe with a girl boss than safe with a boy boss. Yeah. Yeah. The thing of the thing is that a sentence? No, the thing about it is that true quality is recognizing that everyone can be bad. And that's beautiful. And let them.
Starting point is 00:14:25 Let them. And let them be bad. We had one really incredible woman Uber driver who one time showed up, parked the car. We were all about to head to an event. She said, my car has too much sand in it. It has too many crumbs. Too many crumbs. You can't sit on the crumb.
Starting point is 00:14:40 And she tried to, she got out of the car. We tried to wipe down the seat. We said, it's fine. We just need to kind of go because we're late. And she was like, no, no, no, no, too many crumbs. I can't let you sit on the crumbs. I couldn't see any crumbs, but she was, you know, and then she got in her car and drove away without us. Yeah, that was really cool.
Starting point is 00:14:54 That was awesome. And then we, of course, had. Charmaine. Charmaine was just an amazing Uber driver we had on the way to the airport at five in the morning once. Her husband told her she had too many teeth. Yeah. Yeah, she, she had so many things. She was, what was she doing in the real estate?
Starting point is 00:15:11 Oh, what was she doing with the real estate? We have it written down everywhere somewhere. But yeah, she, she would talk about the biblical flesh and the sins of the flesh. And, yeah, yeah. And how the, the, the, the Palisades fire did a really good job with the real estate. Transitioning the real estate. Yes, because I don't know. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Yeah. And, yeah, so just a, well, yeah, she was awesome. She was ill. But I'd rather have her be exactly who she is and not be a guy because it's a little safer. Yeah, that's true. Like especially because she was getting sexual with it. Yeah, the whole time I was very much so, like, she's going to crash. Yes, she's going to crash.
Starting point is 00:15:56 But at least she's not going to say something that'll, like, make me feel very uncomfortable forever. She was going to, she did say stuff that made us feel uncomfortable forever. But she wasn't, she didn't touch us in appropriately. And I think that's the line. Correct. God, sad world. Bars in hell. You know those pieces in your closet that you just find yourself reaching for over and over again?
Starting point is 00:16:18 Absolutely. Like, the sweater that always works with every outfit. It's like, why do I need other sweaters? Or like, when you get a pair of jeans that fit exactly how you want them to and you're like, why do I need other jeans? And I wear them like every day, even to bed. or the bag you carry everywhere. That's what Quince does so well.
Starting point is 00:16:34 They do staple pieces that you're going to use all the time that are really high quality and not that expensive. Pieces that earn a permanent place in your wardrobe. Quince makes elevated everyday essentials using premium materials like Mongolian cashmere, organic cotton, and premium stretch denim. The designs are timeless, thoughtfully crafted, and made to be worn over and over again. Their 100% Mongolian cashmere sweaters start at just $50. And that's perfect because sometimes I want to look chic, but I don't have any money to do that. That's such a good point. These cashmere sweaters give you the softness and quality you'd expect from a luxury brand.
Starting point is 00:17:11 Without the luxury price tag. And as the weather gets a little bit colder, Quince has everything you need to round out your winter wardrobe. From warm, responsibly sourced down jackets. And cozy cashmere scarves and gloves. To beautiful 14K jewelry that adds the finishing touch. We're both California girls and we're going to be going on tour soon on the East Coast. So we're going to have to get some winter pieces. We are going to have to get some winter staples.

Starting point is 00:17:55 It's the best way to support the show. And thank you. Our fantasy commission says for him it's all about the friendships. Cute, Kevin, but I disagree. Like with Bet365. Starting point is 00:18:31 Okay, Brooklyn ghosts. We'll be going to Brooklyn. So what are the ghosts in Brooklyn? Okay, so here's a ghost from Brooklyn. Yeah. That's got to be such a fucking cool ghost. Oh, my God. A ghost from Brooklyn.
Starting point is 00:18:43 Yeah, very cool. Okay, this is reported in 1887. This is a good one. A classic bell ringing ghost haunts a school principal and his wife in their home. The article describes the ghost and ghost. on to say his remaining tricks were of the ancestral castle type
Starting point is 00:19:05 hollow groan's creepy side steps on the staircase and unexpected trips from room to room by article of furniture nope no fucking way I know what's happening here okay tell me I know exactly what's
Starting point is 00:19:21 happening here you're scary is the principal of a school being haunted by a classic standard basic No, he's not. He's being haunted by two X students in a trench coat pretending to be a basic ghost. They don't have any real ideas of how to do like real ghost shit. They are ghosts, right? But they're like, well, we can't tell them where the students because that won't be as scary. So we're going to do some hollow grown, some creepy side steps on the staircase, that kind of stuff. They're, they're,
Starting point is 00:19:51 amateur at being a ghost because they're two kids in a trench coat and they're and he failed them or something. Okay, I got it. It's revenge. Who do you think would come back in your life as a ghost to haunt you? Oh, um, I've had a couple of exes say that to me. Huh? Like say like, I'll come back to haunt you. Or yeah, or like I like I, like, I'd like, yeah, I'd like, like, I'd like, yeah, like a ghost or I'd get you. What? So, so, like, if I were to guess, I could be creative and be like, I wonder, but I'm like, I could also just be like a couple people have said that. Multiple people? Yeah. What? Do you want to unpack this or no? You know, we don't have to unpack it. You know, I, I guess it's just more one of those things. They've threatened?
Starting point is 00:20:39 No, I think someone meant it as a romantic thing. I think someone meant it, I don't know. A romantic thing. Yeah, you know, I think sometimes things happen to me in relationships that I think everyone that's normal and then I say it out loud. For sure. For sure. Yeah, no, but, but, um, but. But, um, but. But, um, but. But. But. But. But. But. But. But, yeah, because also could it be a friendly haunt or is it a bad haunt? It could be a friendly haunt. Casper was friendly. Yeah, that's true. Wise.
Starting point is 00:21:06 I don't know. Yeah. I mean, I don't know. Who do you think would haunt you? Um, oh, my middle school gym teacher. Oh, that's not good at all. Why? To meet.
Starting point is 00:21:21 No, not in like a, ghosts are, what? Okay, in a friendly ghost way? No, in a mean way. A mean way. Okay. In middle school, I did this thing where I was really convinced that this coach was my friend. I think his name was Coach Woods. And I was in sixth or seventh grade. And I was always like, this guy and me are fucking buns.
Starting point is 00:21:42 Right. And he was like, no or not, you're a child. Okay, that's great. And I would like come like you would haunt him. Sure. But I'd come into his office and I'd be like, whoa, hey man. What the fuck is going on my dude, my friend? And he was like, your child leave this office.
Starting point is 00:21:59 And I was very convinced we were buds. Yeah, I love that. And to this day, I'm kind of convinced he loved it. You probably were. And you'll find out when he starts haunting you. But I do, I could see in like his ghostdom. Yeah. Ghost dumb.
Starting point is 00:22:12 Yeah, his ghostdom. Him haunting me and being like, we were never buds. So do you want to be buds now or haunting you being like, I just want to remind you all the time? I just want to remind you. We were never buds. You know, the relationship you had with that to you. is identical to the relationship I had with my one male OBGYN. The one with the knife?
Starting point is 00:22:32 Yeah, the one with a knife, Larry. And I'd always be like, Larry, hey! And he'd be like, fuck. Yeah, Olivia had this- He hated me, and I did not get it. Olivia had this OBGYN where we went in for like a meeting with him because she was going to have this like random procedure done. And he was pointing at things on a paper with a knife.
Starting point is 00:22:51 He had a full knife and was like, had a diagram of my like. cervix or whatever. And he was like, so this is the part and we're going to do this year or this year. And I was like, ha, love you, dude. That's awesome.
Starting point is 00:23:03 Thanks for taking care of me. And I think to me, I was just so grateful to have medical care that I was like, I love this guy. And I didn't realize how much he hated me. I thought he was just kind of like, you know, like grumpy uncle.
Starting point is 00:23:17 Like, I like you, kiddo. And it was like, no, he actually did not like me, period. And he had a knife. And he had a knife. And then when he put in my IUD, I had it was the funniest story ever in terms of like like I said to him I was like I faint because I faint
Starting point is 00:23:31 because I faint during medical shit or I used to all the time and I was like I faint a lot and he was like well you can't faint while you're laying down like and basically was like you fucking idiot you know and I was like okay good to know I have but it's okay and so he's like gonna put in my IUD and he's talking to the nurse the female nurse who has to be there in the room and he's talking about this other doctor he's just like completely ignoring me talking about this other doctor going like yeah like
Starting point is 00:23:54 this doctor, like he left California and, you know, all these doctors will leave in California, but, you know, I get why. And she's like, you know, just like taking notes, being like, uh-huh, like not really involved in the conversation with him. He's just sort of talking at her. And he goes, I get why all these doctors are leaving California, too many liberals here. And then he puts in my IUD and I faint. Wake up sobbing because when I faint, I wake up sobbing. And I'm not sad. It's just what happens. I don't do that. He, I know. It's so weird. When I wake up usually, it's because someone slaps me.
Starting point is 00:24:25 Yeah. And then I pee and fart, apparently. Okay, so we have really, we have really good. Wait, should we incorporate them in our band? Yeah. I'll cry. And I'll pee and fart. And we'll both faint at the beginning of every song.
Starting point is 00:24:38 When we wake up, that's the song. Our band is we faint at the very beginning of the song, like goats. And then I wake up and start crying and saying, I'm sorry, I'm not sad. This just happens because that's also what I do. And I wake up in a puddle of pee. farting the whole rest of the song while I'm crying and apologizing. That's really good. That is really good.
Starting point is 00:24:58 Yeah. And then I woke up and he was like mad at me for feigning and was like also scared because I think he was like, did not expect me to faint. I'm like, girl, I told you. I truly warned you. And I. And yeah, so anyway. One time I was fucking this American ninja warrior. Right.
Starting point is 00:25:14 I really thought you were going to say American girl doll. One time I was fucking this American girl doll. And I was like, wait a second. Are you of age? Are you even liking this? You don't even seem like you're liking this that much, Molly. You don't really seem like you're... Molly, you seemed like you were really liking your tap number,
Starting point is 00:25:36 but now you're not really liking fucking me. You don't seem like your present. I feel drunk. That's awesome. Thank you. I didn't eat anything. Oh, but yeah, me neither. Okay, so...
Starting point is 00:25:50 Cass, are you so tired of us? No, I never get enough for you guys. Are you upset? So Abraham Lincoln's ghost? I just want to check in. No, I was just watching two girls fight on my phone. We can do that. You're not mad at us.
Starting point is 00:26:13 Sorry, I was on my phone watching two girls fight on Reddit. Right. I was just scrolling right and I saw two girls fighting. I thought that was. Do you think that would be a good way we would get videos as if we fought more? Yeah. People have pitched that test. I think you guys do you.
Starting point is 00:26:30 People have been like, why don't you guys get in fights? Why don't you guys start drama? Because we're literally like tired. We don't do that. That is so true. Like we've been on like meetings with like executives where it's like you're like a 50 year old man. Yeah. And the question is like, what was your biggest fight?
Starting point is 00:26:46 Yeah. People ask us that in general. And it's like, are you guys okay? They'll literally be like, have you guys had a fault? Oh, what a guy? And we're like, no. What's wrong with you? Is that what?
Starting point is 00:26:55 The only person we've both had a crush on is somebody who was married. with children. So there was just kind of no chance. And we both sensed the vibe, you know, like we both knew when this day was happening that we were both developing this insane attraction and we both. We both knew. We knew it was happening. He was the only person we've ever met who's like, yeah, that functions for both our types. It was the only one. Ever. Everyone else has been now. Everyone else has been one or the other. And, but he's, he's, but the best news is, he's completely unobtainable. Unobtainable. And we see him all the time. And he's our friend. and he has no idea who we're talking about.
Starting point is 00:27:32 So, fuck yeah. He might. He probably does. He for sure knows. Anytime we've ever, every time I see him, I literally go, knows. Oh, he knows. Because we act like fucking weirdos around him.
Starting point is 00:27:55 But it's so fun to have a crush that you never do anything about because the only thing. There's no possibility. No, the thing that's bad about a crush is when it moves forward. You know what I mean? like that's like a famous sentence like like a crush is a lack of information sure that is like a crush is a lack of information the only bad thing that happens with a crush is when it moves forward it's like then you're like everyone's not a common thought everyone's a full person there's all the like you know and then if you're like celebrity crush fun because you're like oh my god that will never ever move forward I want you to do a wedding speech where you say so the only bad thing
Starting point is 00:28:32 about a crush is when it moves forward and then This has moved so far forward. So far forward. You guys are fucked. I mean, like, on both, I'm sure there are just so many people who have had a crush on me and then dated me and been like, oh, it's a whole person. I don't think anyone's ever had a crush in me with your jug. The, the DC ghost is going to be Abraham Lincoln. How do we feel about that?
Starting point is 00:28:58 Is he, he's gay. I mean, should we ask him about O'Mary? Isn't Meg Stalter doing O'Mary right now? that's so exciting. No, Bowen Yang is and that's also really now. That's also so exciting. Isn't that kind of amazing? Can I tell you my dream? Yeah. Them doing it at the same time. Yes. Every time
Starting point is 00:29:13 I'm really drunk. Yeah. Every time I'm like very drunk, I either DM a restaurant. Good. Or Matt Rogers. Really? I'll DM Matt Rogers famously gay and I'll be like Hey, love
Starting point is 00:29:30 you. Are we friends or what? And then I'll be like, I am drunk. And of course no response. But one day, I also used to DM Bobby Flay. Yes. I remember you thought he was like a cutie. Yes, the cook. The cook. The cook. The chef. How about, John? The chef. How about? The chef how about? Put some respect on his name, the chef. No, I, I... Are you going to DM someone right now? Yeah, I'm going to DM Bobby Flay and say, so sorry it never worked out between us. Wait, should I DM someone? No, my big. thing is every time I used to be drunk.
Starting point is 00:30:05 Yeah. He used to message Bobby Flea. Yeah. Because I kind of had this idea that Bobby Flea and I were meant to be together. Right. No, totally. And that can happen. And I would DM him and kind of like as if we had already been chatting, which we have never met. And I'd be like, when are we going to stop the games? That's awesome. When are we going to put it away and stop the games? Look at him. Just to be clear, this guy?
Starting point is 00:30:25 Yes. And to be completely honest, now Bobby Flay is with Brooke, who is perfect. And I That's also a nice thing. If I could pick one couple to have a threesome with, I might pick them. Okay. I see, and you know what? Is that crazy? Is that her?
Starting point is 00:30:43 Yeah. She's described as a triple threat. She is. She's an amazing chef. They're both amazing chefs. Here's the thing. And I really go for chefs. You do.
Starting point is 00:30:51 You love a chef. Somebody who cooks, I'm like, wow, I am frothing. No, Sid actually like, like. Reminds me my dad. Yeah. Who cooks a lot. So we're going to rephrase that whole sentence because what you said is I'm frothing reminds me of my dad. Well, because my dad is, right, frothing in terms of, I'm so hungry for
Starting point is 00:31:08 food. No, I'm like, because I'm comforted so much by my father. And in the way that like a psychiatrist, the way that Freud might be like, we all end up with some version of our parents. We all, we all learn love a certain way. And then when we're like, oh, I'm an adult and I'm going to experience romantic love, it's like, when someone cooks for me that we were, yeah, I'm like, I'm frothing. You can, you can, fuck me now. Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, that's why I like, uh, when people are like, not a pussy. You know what I mean? That's not true. I've dated a, oh, no, I'm, I don't know what you mean. Like, I like, I like when, like, like, I think to me, there's like this weird
Starting point is 00:31:53 edginess that my dad has that to me, I'm like, yeah, I'm a little boy and this is what, like, like, yeah, like, we're both little boys. And like, I don't know what that is, like, we're going to a punk club. This is not a conversation. my dad and I have had. This is just the energy I'm saying. And so yeah, so sometimes when someone's like, I'm like, oh, same. I don't know. My dad is very feminine in a lot of ways. Your dad is lovely. My dad is lovely. My dad's, I swear, I swear, we've got to do one episode of Ray and Danny talk shit. My dad would never do this. No, my dad would hate it. My dad would never come on the pod. No, here's what, here's what it is. Our dads would love to have a long conversation.
Starting point is 00:32:31 They would love to go to lunch. But if it was being filmed, they would be like, maybe we just get them lunch. They love lunch. They do love lunch. Our dads, guys, if you know our dads, you know. They love lunch. No, my dad would never do that. My dad grew up with four sisters and a single mom. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:32:49 And then a female cousin who came to live with him. So he is used to being surrounded by women. He very famously has a story of like when he was a kid. he went to an Orthodox Jewish Shabbat service, which is like the men and women are separated. And he left and cried because he was like, I'm separated from my family. I don't like this. He's like the most like sweetie, sweetie baby kind of guy. So anytime I date a man, it has to be the most sweet, sweet, sweety, sweetie, baby kind of guy.
Starting point is 00:33:25 And if I'm going to go out with a woman, she can be evil. Yeah. Huge of true. She can be truly evil. She can be, I shit you not, evil. She can be like, I'm actually really into crypto and I'm going to get you and do it. And I'll be like, I believe you and I love you. I love it.
Starting point is 00:33:42 I love that. It's giving Becca Moore in the best way. Yeah. It's true. Yeah, I used to DM Bobby Flay a lot when I was drunk. I should start fucking doing shit like that. I don't do shit like that. You can't.
Starting point is 00:33:55 You're in a relationship. Yeah, well, you are too. I know, but I don't DM anyone anymore. Right. Well, also, like, I guess what I'm saying is, like, in this situation, I wouldn't be doing it with hopes of, like, it. What restaurants should we DM? Yeah, like, that's what I, I want to, like, DM someone who it's like, this has no stakes and it's only funny. No, that's the thing is when you're in a relationship, you can't.
Starting point is 00:34:16 What are you watching? I just opened up my phone and it says, it happens again. Yuck. I hate when that happens. When you're in a relationship, you can't, like, date people. Wait, that's such a good point. And then you can't DM people. But like who you can DM are restaurants.
Starting point is 00:34:34 And then you get that little. Well, and it's also like, yeah, we're talking about the dopamine boost of a weird DM that you're like, should I send this? And if it's to a restaurant, it's like, yeah, you probably should not send it. Why would you? Okay. But there's no real risk. I found Olive Garden Puerto Rico. Okay, huge.
Starting point is 00:34:50 I'm going to. I'm going to message them, hi, will you fly me out? Will you Fly me out Fly me out for endless breadstick? Okay, done.
Starting point is 00:35:10 Olive Garden Puerto Rico. Okay, I'm going to DM Chick-fil-A because I don't like them. What are you going to say? I'm going to say... I don't like you. No, I'm going to say... Can you tell them that they gave me diarrhea? I was going to say,
Starting point is 00:35:22 Hey, I really need someone to come let me out. I'm not saying. Like inferring that I'm stuck in one of their stores or I don't know. The thing about Chick-fil-A is not only are their politics bad. Yeah. But if your politics are going to be bad, don't you at least want to entice me with your chicken? No, that's the thing. It's like if you're going to do something evil, do it, do it well.
Starting point is 00:35:43 But instead you're like, actually my chicken is going to make you have diarrhea. Yeah. Well, I don't want to DM Chick-fil-A because what if they write back and it's funny? And I don't want to give them a chance to be funny. I'm going to DM Pine Sol. Are you mad at us, Cass? No. Sorry, now I'm just trying to order my lunch. Can you get us? What are you getting us?
Starting point is 00:36:03 Are you guys hungry? Yeah. Well, I want to sober up before the next episode. Oh. Okay, so I'm DMing Pine Soul, all caps. Hey, can you please let me out? I think that's something. I don't know what it is. And that's the point of a DM when you had a little bit of wine. I love that so much. Yeah. Okay, so very excited for Abraham Lincoln. This episode is nothing. I love it.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Do you know, I, this episode is nothing at all. They're all going to be so upset. I feel like some people will be really happy. I think people like seeing you a little loose. Should we go, should we go to the next city? Should we do just like bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, ghost, ghost. Yeah, bang, bang my ghost. Bang my ghost. Bang my ghost.
Starting point is 00:36:47 If you had to bang in Philadelphia ghost, which one would you bang? If you had to bang a ghost, which one would you bang? David Bowie. That's a good one. That's actually a really good one. That's actually really good one. Is, um, is, yeah, yeah, David Bowie. It's a good one.
Starting point is 00:37:09 That's good. For now. For now. For now. Um, okay, Philly Ghost. That's the dog. What the fuck is that? Oh, a Quaker woman.
Starting point is 00:37:19 Oh, a Quaker woman. I fuck with that. The eerie history of the Quaker woman. Leah at Washington Square. It was a mass burial ground with Yellow Fever Revolutionary War. There's a ghost of a Quaker woman named Leah roaming the park, scaring away body snatchers or resurrectionists who try to steal corpse from graves. Oh, they're stealing the corpses from the graves so they can make Frankenstein's monster. I think so.
Starting point is 00:37:43 And Leah's like, girl, we're-girl. Stop. She's like, girl, I'm quaking. I'm quaking. At that. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Well, she seems like she'll be.
Starting point is 00:37:53 Yeah, I love her. Oh, there's also a faceless soldier that cries in pain. So we could bring him on. There's a faceless soldier that cries in pain? Yeah, under, yeah, right there. Where do his tears come from if he has no eyes? I don't know. Kind of a question to ask.
Starting point is 00:38:10 Kind of a question. Okay, what's the next city? Oh, wait, wait, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Actually, the Boston Ghost is actually going to have to be... General James Agnew at Grumblethorpe? What does that mean? by British forces during a battle of German town,
Starting point is 00:38:26 the historic home was haunted by General James Agnew, who was shot and killed on the grounds. And he's now a strange black mist. Well, that wasn't... That's Philly, by the way. That's Philly. Yeah, that wasn't as exciting as... Is there a place in Philly called Gumblethorpe? Yeah, that's what made me excited.
Starting point is 00:38:41 Yeah, that is exciting. Or Grumblethorpe. If you're from Philadelphia, is there a place called Grumblethor? Let us know. I so badly want to do a ghost hunt. I do too. I think we should. I think we will. Because you know what?
Starting point is 00:38:52 Fuck. Who gives us a... single fuck we can do everything we want to do except for the things we can't do and we'll try our best and that's true how you guys feeling great um I'm drunk so I'm actually
Starting point is 00:39:13 I probably a little bit less drunk than said which has never happened before in the history of game kind I just like haven't eaten anything I when I haven't eaten I'm a lightweight how much jar have you drank of champagne she's drank a lot of jar I've been forced to take small sips because of how actually I've been forced to take small sips you've had a glass the whole time this is great insane this is great considering we have a huge guest coming on after see if you can tell which episode we're a little bit drunk it at it's going to be the next one that is released after this because we're shooting it directly after this uh what did it
Starting point is 00:39:55 When you're drunk. Yeah. Can I? No, go for it. I don't want to offend Toronto. No, that's okay. I don't know anything about Toronto. It's actually a lovely place.
Starting point is 00:40:07 Very, very excited to go. It's a lovely place. I've actually been so many places in Canada. Yeah, I've never been to Canada. I would love to go. I've been to every place in Canada because when I was a child, I auditioned for this showcase that was like, children in Canada. It's like, we're bringing. We're bringing entertainment to Canada.
Starting point is 00:40:29 I don't know. And for some reason... No, that's a real thing. Yeah. For some reason, I got into this showcase and I played a ghost. Cute. Our fantasy commission says for him
Starting point is 00:40:40 it's all about the friendships. Cute, Kevin. But I disagree. Like with about 365. I get paid the second my team goes up big with early payout and can cash out at any time before the game ends.
Starting point is 00:40:53 No hard feelings, Kevin. Just faster pay. From Bet365. The home of winning early. Must be 19 and older. Ontario only. Please play responsibly. If you were someone you know is concerns about gambling,
Starting point is 00:41:03 visit connectsontario.ca. Or call 1-866-5-3-1-2,600. Terms and conditions apply. I played a child ghost in a scene. And I went to all these different places in Canada. To play a child ghost. To play a child ghost. So you've haunted Canada.
Starting point is 00:41:18 I've haunted Canada. That's fucking awesome. And I performed for this casting director who years later I met in an elevator. and I had gone to her house as a child. And years later, I said, oh, my God, I went to your house as a child. And she said, why the fuck would I remember that? That's so nice.
Starting point is 00:41:34 And I said, I hate it here. How about that? How about I don't even like it here? How about I hate it here? How about that was not very nice? And you could have just been nice about that. You could have just been fake and been like, oh, okay. She was like, cool.
Starting point is 00:41:47 Like, that's what she could have said. Yeah, 100%. But instead she was like, why the fuck would I remember that? I have a problem when people are like, oh, being fake is the worst. thing you can do. I don't think that's true. No, it's within reason. I think sometimes being fake is very nice. I think when the options are going, oh, awesome. And you can tell the other person can tell you're being fake. That's so much better than going, why the fuck would I remember that? Even then, you don't have to say why the
Starting point is 00:42:13 fuck would I remember that. You could go, remind me. When was that? That's even better. So fine. That's authentic. That's genuine. That's not fake. And it's not mean. Not mean at all. Remind me. When was that? Like, I'm sure that was so lovely. I love that. I love that. I have a terrible memory. It just reminded me. Also, you are a child and you're an adult now. Great. Clearly, this was a while ago.
Starting point is 00:42:30 Yeah. I've been on my algorithm. I've had this. I think people, I don't, I think it's a bit. I can't tell if it's a bit. I think it's people, I think it's people overdoing a thing. But there's people like do it. Can you look up the Toronto accent really fast?
Starting point is 00:42:47 There's a Toronto accent like mall interviews. Yeah. You've seen them too? Yeah. You've seen them. Is it? It's fake, right? Or is it not fake?
Starting point is 00:42:56 Because if it's not fake, I fucking love it. If it is fake, everyone's doing, everyone's being... If you're a user of social media, I'm sure you've come across one of these kinds of videos. I haven't. The GTA. I'm keeping the box still. Brampton, you know?
Starting point is 00:43:10 They act like they're bad, but really, they not. Lange word is located in river snow. Al-a-law? Yo, my favorite slang word has to be a lie, family. I thought I was gonna die, though. The man of our shrapnel. Yes, these people are speaking with... What?
Starting point is 00:43:24 Yeah. Yeah, it's awesome. I swear we're on the most different algorithms. And they all say, too, two, two is my word, fam. Tutu is my word. Fam. That's how they start a lot of sentences. And once again, I'm pretty sure that these mall interviews are like, as if someone were going
Starting point is 00:43:39 around L.A. and being like, hey, can you do like a really exaggerated L.A. accent? You know, like, and then they're like, yeah, I like literally. And it's like, yeah, people do talk like that, but it is also kind of being, but I don't know. And I'm genuinely fascinated. Literally, my entire algorithm is the man in the next. neck brace in the pool. That's good, though. There's a man in a neck brace in the pool and his wife is cooking for him chickpea pasta. Yeah. She's making him things that he loves those things. I think he's Al and someone, Al and something. He's he is trying to know this is just a picture of a man
Starting point is 00:44:13 and neckberries in a pool. Man in neck brace pool, Al couple because you're going to yeah. There's a woman and she's making more healthy options of classic Italian dishes for this man who has a neck brace in a pool. I think he recently got the neck brace off, so congratulations. Yeah, maybe he, this all looks like it's hardcore shit. It's Al and someone and or someone an owl. Like a older couple. She, and he tastes these things. She goes like, look at this. It's Carbonara. Like, can you believe it? And he'll taste it. And he goes, oh my God, it's delicious. And she'll go, now can you believe it's chickpe? And he'll go, no way. Yeah. No way. It's too Okay, so Olive Garden Puerto Rico has not responded yet.
Starting point is 00:44:58 That's crazy. Let me see if Pine Soul has. I loki fuck with the Pine Soul team. Okay, no, they have not even written back at all. So that's crazy. Al. No, I can't. I looked up Al Poole and I couldn't find him.
Starting point is 00:45:14 Yeah, I feel like what's so crazy is that we can't find him. So maybe he's not real, even though I've seen him. He is real. Am I a fool? Are I a fool? Are you a fool? Am I a fool? No.
Starting point is 00:45:27 No. Not at all. Am I a fool? Of the two of us, I am the fool. No. I am the fool. You play the fool. I am the fool.
Starting point is 00:45:36 I am the fool. If either of us are a fool. No, no. I'm deeply the fool. I am the fool. Okay, so I'm the fool. If either of us are the fool, I am the fool. The thing I know and the thing I see when I open my eyes and I look at me.
Starting point is 00:45:51 Is I am the fool? You are not the fool. You are not the fool. No, no, no. How are you the fool? You are not the fool. You are not the fool? How are you the fool?
Starting point is 00:45:59 I am the fool. In what world? With what evidence? I am the fool. Oh, wait, fair. You had a glass the whole time? I did have a glass. So you are not the fool.
Starting point is 00:46:12 I've been drinking from a jar. I am the fool. I just watched the entirety of yassified Lizzie Borden the show. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? There is a new Ryan Murphy show. This is going to be the most unedible. Cass, you're leaving?
Starting point is 00:46:35 I got to pee. Okay. You literally hate us. You literally hate us. I can't believe it. I could cry. You literally hate us. Sometimes they think Cass hates us.
Starting point is 00:46:50 I always think Cass doesn't like me personally. Me too personally. No, I think he likes you and doesn't like me. Now that he's out of the room Now that he's out of the room We can, okay, John, which one is he not like? I think he likes it and he doesn't like me. I think he likes Livy and he doesn't like me.
Starting point is 00:47:04 He feels bad for me. But he likes her. No, I think he likes Levine. He doesn't like me. I feel like it changes every day. That's actually the best answer. That's the best answer. John, I'm going to be.
Starting point is 00:47:14 It's back and forth up and down. I think he's like, that's my girl. And I hope this bitch is okay. No, I think he's like, I love that girl. And then whenever I say something, he's like, we've got to press him when he comes back. So, Yassified Lizzie, board in, right? Yeah. There's a, um... I'm so sorry, Emma. There's a new... I'm so sorry, Emma. Like, Emma's
Starting point is 00:47:34 our editor, and I'm like... We love Emma. Emma, I'm so sorry. This is going to be so hard to edit, because you're going to be like, there's nothing in here. There's just nothing in here. I think you might... I think the harder parts to edit is the amount of times we keep saying there's nothing in here. Because when we're just talking randomly, some people are like, yeah, whatever, I just want to space out and clean and listen to people talk. But the amount of times you've been like, this is nothing. I'm the fool. That's going to make people be like,
Starting point is 00:48:03 oh, Jesus. What? I'm the fool. I am the fool. So, you know how Ryan Murphy makes all those sexy? You have one loop. Yay. You know how Ryan Murphy makes all those. Can I fix it? Yes. It's gone. Those sexy, like, oh my God, what if Jeffrey Dahmer was so sexy? Cass, which of us do you hate?
Starting point is 00:48:19 Do you not? Okay. Here's our, here's the, I'm so sorry. I had to pee. John said that you switch off between which of us. you like, which sounds believable. But what we think... Is that what you said? I think... I think that you...
Starting point is 00:48:33 I think you don't like me. I think you love... Why would you ever think I don't like either? No, I think you love her. And you like me and you feel bad for me and you worry about me. But you like get her. No, no, that's insane.
Starting point is 00:48:47 No, I think you like Olivia. The only reason I call Sid is because... You call me? Well, if I have to get a hold of you guys, like call Sid because Olivia has a relationship with the phone, which I totally respect. Yeah, I have a weird. It's just like it's distance. No, that is fair. That's fair. And she's not, she's not generally the one that'll text. Yeah, I don't, I'm not the best responder. For communication purposes,
Starting point is 00:49:07 I reach out to sit. Yeah, no, that and that is true across the board and fair. But I leave, I love you both equally. And we love you exactly the same. But I think of us like, neither of us love you more than the other. But I think that you look at me and you say no. No. Are you sure that's not just you? Yeah. It is me. Because that's what I do. Because I look at everyone and I think, you look at me and you think not this one. No, that's entirely.
Starting point is 00:49:32 It's fabricated in my brain. Yeah. And it's something I convince myself of. Yeah. I get excited when you guys come in. That makes me happy. I love that. Because I know I'm going to hear about your, I got to hear a fun story about your lives or something that's going on that's interesting.
Starting point is 00:49:49 Because at my age, generally, everything's slowed down. That's fair. I go home, I come to work, I enjoy my alone time. I'm not out there like you young kids. That's fair. When I do hang out with someone who's younger and they're like still being. You got to talk in your microphone. Yeah, that's such a good point.
Starting point is 00:50:07 When I do talk to someone who's younger and they're still actively being younger than me, I'm like, oh my God. What's going on with you? Yeah. Oh my God. Wait, you guys broke up again. I generally do love hearing about your guys's lives. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I hope that comes across.
Starting point is 00:50:24 I think it does. I just tune out when you're doing the pod. But otherwise, yeah, I can't. Otherwise, I really enjoy. Because we're not fighting. We're not two girls fighting on Reddit. Right, which is something that's really interesting to you. Have you seen the Yasified Lizzie Borden show?
Starting point is 00:50:39 I'm so sorry. I've stopped you from talking about the thing that you're so passionate about it. So many times. I was cleaning and I put it on. Tell me. So, you know, Lizzie Borden. Is this the girl who killed her kids? She killed her parents with an axe.
Starting point is 00:50:52 Can we look up Lizzie Borden really quickly? killed her kids. That you're thinking Lindsay Clancy. Oh. No, this is She's stunning. Yeah, that's not Lizzie Borden. Lizzie Borden. The axe murderer.
Starting point is 00:51:06 Yeah. Oh. Borden. Oh, so she's like old. She's a famous legend, axe murderer horror icon. She's like an Eileen Warnos in a way that she's a female serial killer.
Starting point is 00:51:20 But, um... Gosh, I don't know these people in the way I should. Yeah. So I just love crimes. But Eileen Ornos was like a prostitute who basically would just kill Johns because they would, they would do bad shit to her. And she would be like, I'm going to probably kill you. And then the justice system was like, actually, you're not allowed to defend yourself and kill people. So you have to die.
Starting point is 00:51:41 And she was like, I fucking hate you. That's fucked up. And that's kind of her thing. That's fucked up. It is fucked up. She's like, it's fucked. But then Lizzie Borden killed her parents with an axe. I hate when that happens.
Starting point is 00:51:53 The thing about it is, she's like, it's like a really, I'm learning more and more about the Lizzie Borden story because I was like, well, I don't know enough. So like, but then I'm watching this thing and I'm like, this is geniusly crazy, not in a good way. In that it is like they make her so like hot and diva. And she's supposed to be like this kind of, they keep inferring she's neurodivergent. She takes everything literally. She only connects with animals. She, like, is very socially uncomfortable. And, like, at the beginning, the, there's a suitor who's like, you have the face of a horse.
Starting point is 00:52:31 You're so ugly. Like, no one will ever like you and everyone's so mean to her. I hate that. And I do believe that, like, Lizzie Borden was super abused as a kid, I think. But, but she's not, but they make it into this, like, she's a hot, hot girl boss. They make her like the girl they cast stunning. Like Ella Beattie. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:58 If you look up like real Lizzie Borden versus. And she's like, and there's all of this like sapphic romance and stuff, which is fun. It's very like, like they keep playing. What's that song? Maybe I have to watch the show. Am I right? Am I wrong? Because I've been hypnotized mesmerized with what my eyes can.
Starting point is 00:53:22 And like they're just like, yeah. What is that song? It's the, it's the hypnotized mesmerized song that the, okay, so, um, look at the, okay, so real Lizzie Borden looked like that. She looked like the girl in the, she's the black and white one. Okay. And then look how just like, look at this stunning batty and her alt love interest. Yeah, I mean, they're gorgeous.
Starting point is 00:53:47 They're gorgeous. And then, but it's like, it's this crazy, like essentially like, in the in the show it's like she kills her parents with an axe they totally deserve it everyone's like girl literally actually love it for you she gets away with it she and every girl is like girl i'm fucking feeling it for you and then she's like am i like a suffragette now and they're like bitch you are a suffragette and then she's just like i'm inspiring like it is so like it's literally like girl boss axe murderer that's awesome and it's like i don't mind the idea of being i mean obviously it's a ryan murphy show so every i watch i I came into it knowing what it was going to be. And I came into it knowing the criticism and being excited to see what the deal is. But it is wild how it's like it's like they took a story of a real axe murderer. And then they were like, we're going to do all's fair with it. And it is genius in the most like what are you even talking about way.
Starting point is 00:54:45 Yeah, it's it's Yassified Lizzie Borden. She's a girl boss. Everything works out for her. Everyone's like that's the thing is it's like. If it was like, okay, she's like edgy and we're giving her like an anti-hero empathetic thing and like shit goes bad for her. And she's like fucked up and edgy. But like you get it. That's one thing.
Starting point is 00:55:01 That's like a level of grittiness. But she's just like, yay. And everyone's like, yeah, bitch. I wonder if Ryan Murphy is going to do something about Trump. Oh my God. I wonder if he's going to be like here's a story about the Trump's kind of like in a monster Donald Trump. If he does monster Jeffrey Epstein. Everyone's so high.
Starting point is 00:55:22 Oh my God. You know he would. Like monster Jeffrey Epstein and then it's going to be like, this is what it was like when he was growing up and maybe you kind of get it. And it's like, no, you don't get it. Wow. He is going to do that. Because he always casts a good looking version of versus.
Starting point is 00:55:39 He always cast like a super hot version. Who would that be for Jeffrey? I mean, unfortunately it's Anthony Bourdain, but he's dead. Right. I mean. Who's like, yeah, who would be incorrect? Because I guess that's the reality is it's like someone who doesn't. look like Jeffrey Epstein.
Starting point is 00:55:54 Someone who looks like yassified Jeffrey Epstein. Or like, oh, too, too handsome Jeffrey. Two are. Barry Cugan could be. Barry Cugan could be a too handsome Jeffrey Epstein. Oh, that would be really disturbing. That would be really disturbing. How do you say it?
Starting point is 00:56:10 Barry Cugan? Like him with like a gray hair. Ugh. That could be a handsome Jeffrey Epstein. That would suck so much. Handsome Jeffrey Epstein. Monster Jeffrey Epstein. Like nightmare.
Starting point is 00:56:25 Yeah. I mean, look at him. Do you see what I mean? He has a face to me that I've just never seen before. But that's the thing about his faces. I'm just like, like. But don't you see what I mean? Can you look up Jeffrey Epstein really quickly?
Starting point is 00:56:39 I have to cover his hair. They definitely have that. The eyes. The eyes. And also like Barry Kugan's an excellent actor and could trouble. Did you just look at Jeffrey Epstein hot pick on your work computer? Oh, Jesus. Oh, geez.
Starting point is 00:57:00 He just looks so much like fucking Anthony Bourdain. Yeah, he kind of does. Like to the point where I, with my mild face blindness, used to kind of see a picture of Anthony Bourdain and be like, oh, shit. Well, then maybe it should be the kid who plays Anthony Bourdain in the new Anthony Bordain movie. Yes, that's true. Uh-oh. Because range for that actor, right? Because like, even though it's a very similar look, it's a very similar look, it's a very
Starting point is 00:57:22 different character. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah. I think he could do it. Look at the brows. Aye, aye, y'ye. Well, if anyone knows Ryan Murphy,
Starting point is 00:57:33 got to get him on the phone and tell him. Look at the brows. That if he wants to do something really bad. I really think he could do it. God. Like, is that horrible? It's. That works.
Starting point is 00:57:47 I think it works. It's definitely on the table. They're definitely in talks. If he can play Ringo, he can play Jeffrey. I kind of think so. I kind of think he could do it. Ryan, should we DM him?
Starting point is 00:57:58 Okay, fine. Does Ryan Murphy have an Instagram? You DM Ryan Murphy, I'll DM Barry Keoghan. Let me find him. Ryan Murphy. Okay, Ryan Murphy Productions. Okay, I'm gonna message. Ryan Murphy Productions.
Starting point is 00:58:17 Oh, fuck, I have to follow them first. So embarrassing. Oh, unless they follow you. Ugh, okay, never. Oh, no. I don't think Barry Kogan has an Instagram. He only has a fan account, which I could message. Horrible.
Starting point is 00:58:30 But they'll docks me probably. Okay, Ryan Murphy doesn't have an Instagram. Okay, well, I guess we're saved from the horrible thing we were going to do. They've just saved us. They've just saved us so deeply. I was going to message them literally right now. Because the fact, the thing is like, if we ever hit them up about that, and then anything ever happened positive in our lives where we were in any type of a situation working in TV.
Starting point is 00:58:50 And we ever met either one of them. What an absolute fucking shit show that would have been. The amount of drunk DMs I should really go through in a race. From the past? Yeah. Just the amount of people I've been like, I should probably tell you this. Oh, yeah, yeah, I get you. And it's like, what?
Starting point is 00:59:07 Yeah, I used to really overshare with people I did not know that well. I mean, I still do on the podcast, but I like would really. No, but I would DM people who it's like, I will never meet them. Right. Like, again, like Bobby Flee. That's awesome. And it's like you shouldn't. DM these people. Yeah, I, but I think that I like that you have the guts to do that,
Starting point is 00:59:25 because sometimes you'll do that from our account and it'll work out. Mm-hmm. Okay. Sometimes, sometimes you'll message someone from our account. They'll be like, yeah. Because I guess the worst thing that happens is they go like, they don't read it or they go like, I think the worst. I think it's that they read it and they think you're fucking weird. But everyone who watches anything I do thinks I'm weird anyway. And so it's okay. I'm the fool. Here's the fool. Here's the thing. I'm the fool. Here's the thing. The risk of being weird is worth the risk of taking. That's such a good point.
Starting point is 00:59:56 And I'm going to put that on my forehead with tattooing. The risk of being weird. Is that really good? Yeah, the risk of being weird is the risk that's worth of taking? The word, is the, is the risk that's worth taking? Is that, was that the whole sentence? Put that on my tombstone. The risk of being weird is the risk.
Starting point is 01:00:20 worth taking. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Right. I think so. I mean, I think so. Unless it's... Is there anything here we can cut into an episode? Oh, yeah. I think we need to let's pop through some of the final scenes. I just looked back up and saw that it's Jeffrey Epstein on the screen with Barry Cugan. Um, I, I, uh, yeah, what's the next city? What's the, is Chicago Ghost? Where are we seeing going? Chicago Ghost? You guys, if you don't buy tickets to these places, I'm going to be sad. Guys, we're going to die. Right? I'm going to be sad.
Starting point is 01:00:55 Yeah, Chicago Ghost. Okay. Chicago. Chicago Ghost. Chicago Ghost. Chicago. I'm so, so deeply excited to go to Chicago on the tour. Yeah, I fucking love Chicago.
Starting point is 01:01:07 It has a rich history of urban legends. Resurrection Mary, for instance. Resurrection Mary is a well-known, is a well-known Chicago area ghost story of the vanishing hitchhiker. type of folklore that is known in many cultures, according to the story, the ghost resides in Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, Illinois. Apparently, several men in the 30s were driving northeast along Archer Avenue, and they picked up a young female hitchhiker dressed somewhat formally in a white party dress.
Starting point is 01:01:39 And... Is said to have light blonde hair and blue eyes, gonna dye my hair. Other reports indicate that she wears a thin shawl and dancing shoes carries a small clutch purse and possibly is very quiet. As the driver nears Resurrection Cemetery, she disappears into it. According to the Chicago Tribune, full-time ghost hunter, Richard Crow
Starting point is 01:01:59 has collected three dozen substantiated reports. Oh, she got hit by a hit and run and she was buried in her dancing dress. She was in an argument with her boyfriend. So that's what's happening. She's in an argument with her boyfriend
Starting point is 01:02:15 and that would suck to like she like stormed out in an argument with her boyfriend and then got hit by a car. Like to be like a ghost trapped in that argument. Ugh. And it's like the argument was probably over something so small. It was probably over something so stupid. But when you're a ghost, you're just like, I'm stuck in it.
Starting point is 01:02:32 All I can think about is this. That sucks, dude. All I can think about is he wants to open up the relationship. Yeah, him being like, I really want to get Polly. Yeah. In 1930. Yeah. Okay, great.
Starting point is 01:02:44 So that'll be our Chicago ghost. Okay. She's gorgeous. Gorgeous. Is it Vancouver ghost? There's a little red man. Wait, that's who we're bringing. Tell me.
Starting point is 01:02:52 The legend is a phantom train conductor who sits inside an old trolley car and a mischievous red-headed spirit called the little red man. We are bringing the little red man onto our... That's like two different people I've dated. What? The little red man. Yeah, you have dated two little red men. And the third one is going to be a...
Starting point is 01:03:14 Not that I date, but the third little red man in our lives will be a ghost. Mm-hmm. you have dated two little red men I have I have dated to the point where when I dated the second little red man I was well I guess not little red man little red haired man
Starting point is 01:03:28 I don't know they're not like well we're just copying what they're saying which is he's a redheaded spirit and he's small yeah but he's not like physically he's not his body's not red but his hair is
Starting point is 01:03:38 the second little red man I dated I literally almost didn't date because he looked so similar to the first little red man and I was like that and your brother well my brother is a red man but he's a red man He's a tall red man with different red.
Starting point is 01:03:51 You know what I mean? So like the two redheads I dated were strawberry blondes and they were not tall. My brother is an Auburn redhead with curly, curly dark auburn hair, which is still red, but a different type of red. It's red, yeah. And tall. So to me, I'm like, okay, that's a difference. That's a difference. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 01:04:11 Mm-hmm. Now, anyway, the famous Portland ghost. Yeah, Nina at Old Town Pizza. Nina. Nina was allegedly thrown down the building, thrown down the building's elevator shaft over a century ago after crossing paths with local underworld figures. Wait.
Starting point is 01:04:29 Whoa. Nina. Nina, that's a sentence that ends with a crazy phrase that I'm not familiar with, local underworld figures. I would love to be a local underworld figure. Wait, are they talking about the Shanghai tunnels running beneath the structure? Are they talking about a fucking, the underground city in,
Starting point is 01:04:48 Is it, it's not Portland? There's an underground city? There's an underground city in, in, in, in, in, in Oregon. Not in Portland. No, where did, where did, uh, uh, uh, the guy write, uh, the Kraken, uh, fucking, I guess there are in Portland. Um, it's a ghost adventures. It's a whole ghost adventures thing. I've never been here. What the heck? Well, we got to go to the underground.
Starting point is 01:05:11 I guess we'll go. There's a bar. I was literally just in Portland. Okay, well, we're going back. I was just in Portland. The heck. We're going to go back and we're going to go into the bar. Okay. Cass, is this enough for an episode? Oh, you're more than enough.
Starting point is 01:05:25 Do you hate it? I think you're... I think the alcohol is making you self-conscious in a way that doesn't need even to be. Like, I think this episode is just as much of an episode as any episode we do that's just us. Every time I'm drunk, I feel like I'm disappointing people. That's... She should be drunk less. That's not a good feeling to get.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Every time I'm drunk, I feel like everyone can finally leave me alone. Oh. Which is weird. What do you mean? Like you can go in a corner and yeah. Like I'm just like overwhelmed by everything and I can just be like, oh, everything's like normal. Oh, see, I feel the fool. Oh, you feel the fool.
Starting point is 01:06:01 I see. I feel like everyone's like, ugh, the fool is back. The fool is back. Oh my gosh. Pike Place Market has the children in Seattle. The Seattle ghost called the children. Staff have reported hearing invisible children running through the halls, Phantom Laughter in the Empty Market Theater and sightings of a young boy near the Daily Donut Shop.
Starting point is 01:06:21 Isn't that where Starbucks was started? Seattle. Yeah, in Pike Place. In Pike Place, yeah, with the ghost of the children. Wait, that's crazy. That's why there are so many child ghosts in my coffee every morning. That's why every time I'm drinking a Frapicino, I hear the whispers of children. Yes, oh my gosh.
