Tabs out.
Bonus episode.
Too spooky.
Way too spooky. tabs out cassette podcast don't bootleg the theme song jamie why why we're on the the matter
why does the theme song say too scary what why is it why is a bonus episode too scary
i don't know.
I think it was capturing the zeitgeist of like five years ago
when we said too scary to everything.
Okay.
And you just like kind of that became the whole thing?
Yeah.
Tabs out cassette podcast bonus episode.
I'm Mike here with Jamie.
Hello.
Jamie, are you in the mood to solve a mystery?
Ooh.
Are you in the mood to solve several mysteries?
No, just one.
Or one at a time.
Can it be one big mystery?
Is this like an escape room?
This isn't a you wish.
You wish you could get out of here.
Here's what's going on.
I got all these cassette tapes, right?
We know about all my cassette tapes, right?
Many, many.
They're on the walls.
They're everywhere.
And what I...
I like a good...
I like a tape to be labeled.
You know what I mean?
It's a mess.
Yeah.
I like...
Not yet.
Not yet.
I like a tape...
I like to know what it is when I'm getting into it.
And I don't even mind doing a little bit of work.
You know what I mean?
Like, there's some labels.
Some labels will put it on the spine or the cover.
Some labels you gotta dig in.
You gotta open up the J card, open it up. But then there's some labels some labels will put it on the spine or the cover some labels you got to dig in you got to open up the j card open it up but then there's some labels or people i should say they're not putting anything on there and i notice i have amassed a stack of cassette tapes
no clue what these are maybe we can either try to guess or i don't know we can we get it up on
discogs i know you're always on Discogs, right?
Oh, we could do like an image search.
I'm thinking.
We do that?
Oh, wow.
You just blew my mind.
No, I wasn't looking to do anything like that.
I was looking.
I thought we would just make it up like as a goof.
Oh.
You know what I mean?
Yeah.
Like we would just make jokes about it.
And I thought we would get someone to help us kind of like form a select committee on this. So we have, he runs FTMA Productions, the label out of Milwaukee.
He's making all this harsh noise.
Peter J. Woods.
Peter, how are you?
I'm good.
How are you?
Pretty good.
You dropped a little sound there earlier.
What was that?
Oh, I've got some sound.
I came prepared for this podcast. I brought some
sound boards with me just in case we wanted
some extra sounds.
What do you got? Give me something. Give me a taste.
Hold on. I'm working on it.
It's loading in the rain. I gotta say,
you gotta be on top
of them. You gotta be...
Yeah.
There's one.
I like it. You gonna pepper those in? I don't know if we've ever had a guest pepper in sound clips
cool
that was the one I was trying to play before
it took so long to load
I launched my lifetime pasta membership to Olive Garden
Garfield doesn't know anything about it
and I want to keep it that way
so Garfield that's a good
that's a good segue sound clip
Garfield doesn't know a good segue sound clip.
Garfield doesn't know anything about it.
Peter, you're a bit of like a noise, how would I say it?
Kind of like, what would I say about you that would make it make sense that I invited you here to do this?
I can't really think of anything.
But do you think you'd be?
No, no. Well, Peter's very scholarly.
He's a research scientist.
Excellent.
Yeah.
Oh, my God, Jamie.
You just keep going.
Keep going, brother.
You're on a roll.
I mean, I don't want to butter him up too much.
Butter him all the way up.
Keep going.
He's a scholar.
He's a scholar.
Yeah.
So not only are you a scholar, but he runs a label,
and it's a label I got to say, FTMA.
What's that mean by the way?
AAM.
F-T-A-M?
What have I been saying?
M-A.
M-M-A.
Have I been saying F-T-M-A the whole time?
Yes, you've been getting it wrong the entire time.
Did I say it?
You bring me onto your podcast,
and then you insult me by getting my label name wrong.
Is your name Peter J. Woods? Did I get that right? It is. That is correct. My your name Peter J. Woods?
Did I get that right?
That is correct. My name is Peter J. Woods.
So I didn't fuck that up.
No.
So FT, remind me one more time
and then I swear I'll say it that way.
Okay.
Do I have to say it?
FTAM.
What does that stand for?
So that stands for Fuck the Art Museum.
Oh, which one?
Well, specifically the Milwaukee Art Museum.
Because back in the heyday of when the Milwaukee Art Museum
decided that they wanted to start expanding the building
and they got famed architect Kyle Trava to come in and make this
building and then they spent a bunch of money on this building and Milwaukee the people in charge
of Milwaukee were like hey we have ourselves a cultural center now because we have these great
this great art museum here except they didn't actually put any like Milwaukee art in it or
like invite Milwaukee artists to be a part of the process or
show their work inside of it.
As a younger
man, I was very angry about that.
This is a personal beef you have with the art museum.
They wouldn't put your shit on the wall.
You're making weird stuff. They're not going to put your stuff up
in the art museum.
It was less about me.
Did you want to
sit on a bench and wrap yourself in plastic and they wouldn't let you i i didn't actually approach the art
museum at any point about putting any of my art on the wall mostly because i don't actually make
visual art of any kind i just thought you know it was representative of a larger problem within
uh arts communities in general you want to try to get some of your shit up now or
i yeah i mean i'm working on it
i made some like really really nice macaroni things uh and i figure that's like good enough
for this like some macaroni sculptures um which is literally it's just i just bring in the
macaroni and just kind of like leave it there great pasta but apparently that's not enough
i've eaten at many a garden.
Well, go ahead, Jay.
I would say it's for the beholder to determine if that's art or not.
It's not up to some committee or anything like that.
So, yeah.
Yeah, especially not the art museum.
Yeah.
So you don't like the art museum, but you're putting out these tapes.
You're putting out all this harsh noise from Milwaukeewaukee and i think we'll play some of it but first i think you got
to put in you got to put in some work here and i think we should also point out real quick that we
are we have uh we have peter here on google meet we can see him but we i have the camera position
just so so he cannot see either of us you can can see your hand and the brim of my hat.
Yeah. Is that enough for you? Is that working?
Yeah, this is great.
I mean, mostly I can see both of your computers,
so I know when the soundboard sounds are coming.
Unlimited salad.
Yeah.
So this is, yeah, I can see the tape you're holding.
Yeah, I mean, you have lighting problems.
A lot of glare.
That's a little better problems a little paint splotch
here on a white background
that would be nice in the art museum
that's why I picked this one this would be nice
because they're always hanging up shit with paint on in the art museum
and this one is just
and I don't mind like
you know I like this artwork this is a white jay card
cool
not while I'm describing tapes please Peter not while I'm describing tapes please peter not while i'm describing tapes
the listeners need they're hanging on every word so it's got just a bunch of like a kid would draw
it with his fingers it's just finger paint basically which is you get that at art museums
all the time it's like oh this is like a really important piece and it's like yeah it looks like
finger paint but the thing is that there's like just enough detail in like the color
to make you know that they could have like done something nice but they were just like what if we
just did a paint splotch and that's all they did and to the point where when you take it out
there's just there's nothing on the inside and there's just a white shell cassette and there's nothing on it and how am i what do i do jamie
google um paint in quotes paint splotch cassette tape um noise and figure out what this is
because if we can't figure let's put it on should we put it on right now
is this possible can oh shit i have an unlabeled tape in my deck
right now that might that might cause an issue i don't know what this is all right put it over
near the speaker okay hurry hurry hurry so this tape um before i put it on peter
this artwork right this splotch of you said the colors the paints are going around and that's all
it is so what do you think this is going to sound like uh so i think we can go in a couple of
directions here uh some minimal drone slash electroacoustic type vibes could definitely
come from this okay um i also feel like uh maybe we're gonna get into like a singer songwriter
space no i feel like if that was the case i already would have gotten rid of this tape
oh okay so okay it's something i definitely kept i don't know what it is but i know i have it
got it so you've kept it you've listened to it and you were like this is a thing that i want to
own for a longer period of time. I didn't, at no point
did I get rid of it. At no point did I
get rid of it. So all we know about this
tape is at no point did I get rid of it.
It's here.
At no point did I get rid of it.
And little kid did the cover.
Maybe. I
couldn't draw that. That's better than what I could do.
Yeah, you're a grown ass man.
A kid could draw this. No. No, but I could do. Yeah, you're a grown-ass man. A kid could draw this.
No.
No, but I'm telling you, a grown-up made this.
Like, the color in there, there's too much detail in the color for, like, a kid to, like, be able to figure that out.
You know, now that I'm looking at the detail in the color, a kid couldn't figure that out.
Somebody must have hit puberty before they did this.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But then they were just, like, they started it, and they made a splotch, and they were like, eh, that's fine.
Then it's done.
Let's go with that.
Well, here's the next question.
Do you think there's...
Do you think...
Oh, you know what?
This is...
I was thinking that this was like a photocopy of paint, but that's actual paint on there.
Is it really?
So I feel like this is going to be...
I was going to say that I think it's going to sound like something that the person doesn't want their name tied to just in case because it's kind of bad
are you sure wait you're you're a print guy that's not I think it's I think it's laser jet
no no the texture on that you think is laser jet no Peter I wish you could feel this
I'll mail this to you I'll mail this to you you feel, and then we'll pick the episode back up, okay?
If it was painted, there would be more texture.
It's very smooth.
Well, I probably have dolled it down with my greasy fingers over the years.
So we know I kept it.
I've been touching it a lot.
Yeah, okay.
I think it's something that somebody would be proud of.
I think they've been through puberty, and I think they're proud of this music.
I don't think it's going to be drone, though think there's going to be i think there's gonna be birds on it
yeah i think now that you've explained the texture of the paper i'm changing my answer
i think it's just going to be like minimal acoustic or electroacoustic free improv
like some real like plunk plunky guitar it's a turtle string instrument stuff
uh and like maybe some like like quiet scraping like junk metal scraping or just but but just like
no like a little bit just like yeah just kind of you know just like maybe like scratching like this
like the little fingertips just fingertips we can all do that, huh? Yeah.
Okay, and Jamie, where do you think Tony will be?
A lot of this.
You probably don't even know.
I'm looking at you, and you have no clue,
and you've been sweating like, please don't ask me.
Please don't fucking ask me what I think it sounds like. Put me on the spot.
I'm going to go with no synths
and sort of more just percussive elements.
Percussive, okay. Let me okay yeah let me oh this might be too
loud you might have to turn this down it's this channel i'm really curious now and we have to
give it a name and everything and i think we're gonna need to get this up on discogs and all the
whole nine no turn it down that's a that's a synthesizer jim. You're wrong. Is it?
Yeah, it is.
Turn it down.
It's too loud.
I can't hear it.
I can't hear anything else.
Just make it in the background.
Just put it so it's like the bedding.
You mainly want to hear me.
So I think we were all wrong.
We all biffed on this one.
There we go. Let me turn it up just a little bit. There we go.
Let me turn it up just a little bit.
There we go.
Yeah, we all were way off.
Do you think throughout this podcast episode
anyone's going to listen and say, oh, that's my tape?
Um, so you guys assume that you have listeners?
Oh, geez.
Oh, my God.
Stop.
Peter, there's not many rules here.
I try to keep it fun.
I try to have a good time.
You fucking start talking about how we don't have listeners
you start bringing up
one of these days eating like that is going to give you
a nightmare wait and see
a nightmare
me get real
I like how yours are so long
the set clips are so long
I literally have no idea what any of these clips are
I just had these on hand.
What the fuck do you have them on hand for?
I got it just in case.
You never know.
I'm starting
this tape back up. Put it in the background low.
Real low, Jamie. Don't fuck up.
Lower than that? Lower than that.
That. That's what I'm talking about.
I'm talking about you mainly want to hear us.
Alright. So here's my question. I don talking about you mainly want to hear us. Alright.
So here's my question.
I don't think we can't Google image search this.
Well, we're getting back to what we were talking about the listeners of the show.
You're saying people do listen.
I would have to think someone's listening. I think about 50% of the listenership is people that are having their music played on the show.
And this is going to be a problem for this episode.
That's going to be a big bit.
We can't list anybody.
Okay, I got an idea. I i got an idea and this serves multiple purposes
this is merz bell this is a merz bell tape but merz bell is not going to listen to this
no and he blocked me on twitter already i got we got to think of somebody who's popular enough but
not that popular someone who is popular enough that it'll give us they'll listen to it and tell people to listen to it.
But they're not so popular that they're going to be like,
I'm not mentioning this.
This is a really good One-O-Trix Point Never tape.
There we go.
Oh, yeah.
I was just thinking...
You know, when Daniel sent me this tape, I was like...
I don't know.
Normally, typically, you have a little Jenga piece in a
room or something like that and this is just paints just a paint splotch and I
don't know Jamie boot up discogs we got it Peter what what is the name of this
tape it's one who went on tricks point never and what's the what is the name so
am i am I
just goofing on this one
or do you want me to actually
like pick a
pick a tape here
is he just
does he not know what's going on
I'm
I'm very lost at the moment
you're just making up a name for
let's move on to the next one
let's move on to the next one
that one didn't work
let's move on to the next one
or do you want to do one of yours we can do one for you one for them
oh and peter when i say do you want to do one of yours i'm talking to you
talking to me yeah i'm not playing jamie's tapes um yeah i don't
i don't what are you look i was too busy coming up with soundboards for this.
Play another one.
Play a funny one.
Oh.
He's got to load up in the memory.
Yeah, he's got to be quicker than this.
No, don't worry.
This is going well.
I'm really...
I think this is actually going better than most episodes.
Cut it out.
I thought it was a little rude when you said that
no one listens i thought that was a low blow no i did okay i said that you assumed people listened
i didn't say that that nobody listened that's a heavy implication that you're saying no one listens
look i'm just asking questions all right i'm just you know asking questions, and if the answer is yes,
then that's the answer. That's fine.
Well, he's a research scientist. He's doing
his due diligence.
Right? Yeah.
You can't make assumptions.
This is just my job.
This is just my job to ask questions.
Peter, I got a tape
here. It's one of your
tapes.
Who?
Do you want to ask some yes or no questions and then try to guess?
You can guess the mystery of what tape this is.
It's a personal mystery for him now.
Okay.
Now this is...
He's invested.
He's emotionally invested in it.
We got no listeners.
What are you talking about?
Okay, go ahead and ask your first yes or no question you already know it's a Peter
J. Woods tape okay
so it is a tape that I recorded
that I not at least
um okay
uh where did you record this
is it a
solo Peter J. Woods tape
uh or is it
a Peter J. Woods project it says
Peter J. Woods okay it says Peter J. Woods
okay then that's a solo tape
did I release it
on my own label
no you did not
it's not on your own label
he's not going to get this
is
is the cover black
and white or is it in color?
I feel like that was a bad question.
That's like all your tapes are black and white.
That's not true.
You're lying.
Okay, I'm sorry, Peter.
I'm sorry.
A few have a little bit of red.
I'm sorry.
I apologize.
We have no listeners, he says.
No one listens to your stupid-ass show, he says.
But we're doing this thing with mystery tapes, and that's fun.
This is fun.
This is great.
It's black and white.
It's black and white.
Also, we're going to get OPN and his crew to listen to it.
I'm sorry I yelled at you about the pizza.
I fixed you something to make it up to you.
They're so long.
They're so long. They're so long.
Hot donuts with chocolate or caramel.
You put it on top.
Okay, so it's just black and white on the cover.
And let me tell you something.
It's sealed closed with a little band-aid shaped sticker
that comes in the middle of the label that goes on the shell.
And my copy,
I'm going to break it to seal
for the first time right now.
You've never listened to it?
Not everyone listens to his tapes, I guess.
There we go.
This is good.
This is like a little back and forth that we have.
Like I say, I don't listen to your show,
and then other people,
they're like, I don't listen to your tapes.
It's like the Bundys.
It's like the Bundys.
It's like Alan Pegg
so I'm going to put it in now
and I'm going to start to play it
it's going to be awesome
but I don't even recognize my own tape
I can't imagine what's going to happen
how you're going to be just thrown out of the harsh noise scene
if you can't get this
it's going to be bad.
Do you hear that?
I don't.
I'll describe it.
It's a little spooky and scary.
Oh, somebody just got kicked in the butt.
Okay, I just heard that.
When did you record that?
When were you going through this phase when you were like...
It sounded like a big thunder just happened yeah it also sounds the
reverb also sounds kind of bad so i'd like to think that i recorded it a long time ago
has your reverb gotten better i mean i noticed that your reverb has gotten better but what do
you think i think it's gotten better yeah do you think it's gotten better because it was so bad?
A lot of panning going on right now. I'm kind of getting nauseous. I'm like, it's like I'm on a Gravitron
Yeah Yeah, it's like a nauseous sounding low very like guttural
Bad reverb the reverb's for
Getting too loud now.
You still haven't guessed it?
I heard some junk metal
just there. Some bode.
What was that junk metal?
What was that?
I've been using the same
piece of sheet metal since 2008.
So it's...
It sounded like pretty new
sheet metal. It sounded like that sheet sheet metal it sounded like that sheet metal
like you just went to the sheet metal store and got it yeah actually uh funny story about that
oh turn this down so you can tell this funny story i mean no one's gonna hear it but
this yeah this is a really good story that's gonna be very interesting too scary home to listen to
turn it down um so yeah the piece of sheet metal that I have
came from a show that I had in my
basement where Jeff
Wisher of Rene Hell fame
who was performing as impregnable at
the time actually left a piece of sheet
metal in my basement.
I still have Jeff's
sheet metal. He hasn't asked me back for it.
So, I mean, hopefully
Jeff doesn't actually listen to
this podcast and realize that i still have a sheet metal and want it back yeah because then you'll
know you're a scumbag that steals equipment doesn't know anything about it and i want to
keep it that way equipment yeah yeah you can't steal people's gear his axe like i'll put it this
way i mean i've never bought an instrument cable before, but I'm like, I have so many of them. But you can't take a man's sheet metal, especially one that sounds this sweet.
Yeah, it's tuned.
It's perfect.
So this is an older tape, all black and white, Peter J. Woods.
Edition of 55.
It was the label's 39th release.
I can't believe he...
I can get all of mine.
Every single one of my tapes is kind of like a kid to me.
Is that right?
It's kind of like one of my children, yeah.
You just put it out in the world.
Is there an image on the cover, or is it just text?
It's just text.
Is this read this, don't read this?
It is read this, don't read this.
Very good.
You finally got it.
Here we go.
Not bad. Here we go. Not bad.
Here we go.
From someone who has such an extensive discography,
that actually wasn't good.
You didn't get it right away, but you got it.
How many tapes do you think you have out there
just under the name Peter J. Woods?
70?
70? That's a lot in that area yeah it's you might rival mark right there very good numbers
you're putting up very good numbers a lot of quantity so besides your reverb getting better
what else has changed in your uh your your noise portfolio um Surprisingly little.
Same, man.
Yeah, I think, so one thing that's changed
is just sort of the approach that I
take live, going to a more theatrical
mode of things as opposed to just
like a dude with pedals doing stuff.
And that was definitely like dude with pedals
era of that.
But if you can, I think
there's like a pretty good there's an insert
in there that has this like talking about like there's listening instructions where i'm telling
you like when to listen to the tape and when not to listen to the tape and then also like playing
and stop starting it and stopping it yeah there's it's it's called a listening manual actually yeah
so you know you can kind of see that i'm starting to play with some of the conceptual elements of that relationship between the artist and the audience at that point and doing it in sort of this really absurdist manner that doesn't make any sense.
So listen, stop, listen, listen, listen, read this, listen. But there's no like there's no time intervals. Right, because you can't do it anyway.
There's also points where it tells you to stop reading this,
so if you're stopping reading that,
then you can't read any further,
and then you have to stop with the manual,
but the manual keeps going.
So there's a lot of rules that contradict each other
that you're not supposed to be able to
actually follow along with this.
So does this go on an art museum wall?
I think that definitely goes on an art museum wall.
Okay, I knew we'd find something.
So this, I wonder if this was the thing that the art museum was like,
get out of here with this reverb, man.
We're not putting this up.
You know, if like John Cage did something like this,
everybody would lose their mind.
Oh, John Cage.
But Peter J. Woods does it.
Edition of 55 copies
that's the end of it
and then an episode of Tabs Out
in 2021
that's not that bad
that's not that bad
could be worse
I got a tape here you want me to put on one
and then you tell me if you think it's
something involved with you
or one of the mystery tapes from tonight.
Sure, let's do that.
You want to do that?
This is going to go well.
I'll hit fast forward, and you tell me when to stop.
Oh, wait, it just stopped, so I'll just push play.
Oh, now it's rewinding.
This thing's got a virus.
Jamie, is the tape deck up?
It says play.
Okay, I hear something.
I think you're at the end of a side. that or it's jammed oh I think what happened is it was jammed up well we got
here is a bit of a gag tape have you ever gotten these no gag tapes people now that's harsh noise
he's thinking look at he's thinking about it
gotta turn up a little bit some feedback some, some contact mic. Yeah, it's hard to notice.
Death metal distortion pedals.
Maybe a
Brass Master
is running that.
What if I told you
that this was off of a compilation
that you released?
This is off of a compilation
that I released. Maybe I'm just baiting you in to make is off of a compilation that I released.
Or maybe I'm just baiting you in
to make a fool of yourself.
That could also be true.
All these things and more.
Well, I'm pretty sure the only compilation
I've released is the Milwaukee Noisebox set.
I don't think that's true.
I think you may have released another cassette compilation on FTAM,
and those are the order of the Buck to Art Museum,
so I know that's the order.
Is this off of We Made Some Sounds?
What is that that was a uh a tape with four milwaukee artists we got invited to play at the milwaukee maker fair and we played in front of a gigantic
uh metal dragon that was like breathing fire well that's pretty cool uh it was very cool uh all the
people that organized the uh the maker fair hated, except for the two people that invited us.
But also, we had way more people at our show in the middle of the Maker Faire than most people had at other events.
What is the Milwaukee noise scene like?
It's good.
Okay.
All right.
That's fine.
Yeah.
It's good.
A lot of people here.
A lot of diverse things.
People are supportive and nice. Yeah. We're getting back into it on Sunday, too. We've got a big show that's fine. Yeah. That's good. A lot of people here. A lot of diverse things. People are supportive and nice.
And, yeah.
We're getting back into it on Sunday, too.
We've got a big show that's happening.
So, everybody's excited to get back out and plug our contact mics back into that.
Why did you stop?
So, there was this pandemic.
Well, let me ask you about.
I don't want this to be a downer.
You talk about the Milwaukee harsh noise scene.
Is there, like, a new wave of Milwaukee harsh milwaukee harsh noise oh okay i see what this is you see what i
did look at that look at the spine on the tape what does it say new wave of milwaukee harsh noise
this is a compilation you put out right that is a compilation that i put out i mean i would
consider that more of a three-way split than it would a compilation but you know if you want to call it that then well if i could read any of the text in here maybe i call
it that too peter but unfortunately i cannot yeah um so what is this a bunch of young folks telling
the uh the like move wet grandpa all the old heads in milwaukee put down the distortion pedal the new
classes here the new generation.
Yep, exactly.
So who's the three people on, who is this?
So it's Kurt Benzac.
The project name, so Bootslave is one of them.
Dinotrophinol is another.
Boots?
And Murr.
Murr was the third uh name on there uh funny story about dinotrophinol which
uh you know it's funny you know in quotes um but it's uh do you steal something from them too
yeah i did i did no funny you seem to think that's hilarious guys hold on let me get to this dinotrophinol stole something from me
specifically bone meal trio
the name is an
anagram of dinotrophinol and we
just ended up with an act called dinotrophinol
and an act with that same bone meal trio
which is anagram
in Milwaukee and they're both there
so wait what is there some beef
is there some beef
there's like a little bit of beef.
I love noise beef.
I mentioned earlier how Merzbells blocked me on Twitter.
Very spicy.
Very spicy noise beef.
I'm sorry.
I may have missed it.
What did they steal from you?
Our band name.
Oh.
Because they just took Phone Mill Trio and rearranged it to be, to say, Dimetrophenol.
So, yeah.
I'm very mad about it.
What are you going to do about it?
I mean nothing.
Like, what am I going to do?
This person sounds mad.
I can't sue them.
Like, that's not...
And is this them right now making this?
What?
Who is this?
This is...
I can't even read it.
What's side A on this tape?
So side A, I think...
Oh, wait, I think I have it now.
Turn this down.
I think I have it.
It's a collaboration between everyone.
That's fun.
That is fun.
That's fun.
Did you put that together?
Was this your doing?
You decided for that to happen?
Yeah, well, I reached out to all three of them to do the tape,
and they were like, well, we have this, like, collab,
and I was like, well, put that on side B,
and then give me some stuff for side A,
and we'll make it a whole thing.
Very cool.
That's fun.
So do you try to focus?
Is the fucking Art Museum, is it mainly Milwaukee stuff?
Mostly.
I mean, I started it specifically to be Milwaukee stuff and have branched out past Milwaukee's borders,
but still try to make sure that I'm, you know, repping Milwaukee folks as much as I can.
What a good stopping point that was.
I didn't, just for the record, I didn't press stop there.
That's where the track just ended.
Let's do a mystery one.
Yeah.
How's that sound?
I got one here that's just, and I got to say, for the record, just for, as a disclaimer,
maybe these used to have some kind of insert inside of it, and the insert fell out.
Maybe that had all the information.
Okay.
But I don't think so.
I think that's something I could tell. They're not likely to fall out here. Jamie, take this one and describe that a little bit. I see like either like thorns or ribbons of smoke. It's a black sort of a like gray background and black and white. It's horrifying. Tendrils of doom, something like that.
Yes, it's scary.
Look at that.
Can you see this, Peter?
I can.
Google might.
It's so scary, they might blur it out.
Yeah.
That is pretty scary.
Yeah, like thorns reach into the sky, and it's very foggy.
Now, this is making me, and then you open it up.
Hold on, hold on.
We're not done here.
Typically,
if you get no information, there's going to be nothing printed on the inside of the J card.
They have printing
on the inside of the J card, but it's just some abstract
stuff going on. They even
print it on the shell,
but just a couple of squiggly lines.
Oh, okay. What is this?
So I think what this is going to sound like,
remember that scratching shit that Peter was talking about earlier?
Before he said that no one listens to this show,
he said something about he thinks the tape's going to sound like a scratch.
Oh, right, just a little pitter-patter.
I think this is going to sound like, you know those artists,
you go to a noise show and they have a table with a little teacup
and some sort of their grandfather's pocket watch or something,
and they're just the most delicate.
They have little instruments that they're doing the tiniest little dings.
I think it's going to be like that.
It's going to be so quiet that we're not going to be able to hear it.
Hmm.
See, I was going to go with black metal black metal really yeah just
just straight up black metal huh I'll go somewhere in between those two things you can't just say
that you can't just say that you're getting off way too easy because you haven't went first at all
and where where what do you think you run, Peter. Have you ever put out something?
It's called FT.
It's got letters.
You run a label.
Have you ever put out something that doesn't have any information on it?
How do you feel about tapes like that?
Yeah, I'm not.
I don't.
I'm anti.
Like, there's got to be information on there somewhere.
Thank you.
That's what this is all about. So, Jamie, you think this is going to be information on there somewhere. Thank you. That's what this is all about.
So Jamie, you think this is going to be
right in the middle.
Somewhere between black metal and
abstract twinkling.
Let's find out.
I pressed play.
It's got a white
Norelco case, so they paid a little bit more
for the Norelcos.
Can you feel it? You can cut the
tension with a knife right now.
Peter, you do stuff with like knives
and stuff when playing live, right?
With knives? Yeah. Yes.
Yeah, well, talk about that a little
bit. What are you doing with these things?
You're not hurting anybody, are you?
No. I'm not hurting anybody are you no i'm not hurting anybody turned out i have i have a serrated knife that i like to use a lot um as i i use it instead
of a bow uh you know it's a nice kind of scraping pulling sound uh with it um so I use that for that purpose. Also, I have been doing a set recently where I hold a knife
up to my throat as I'm performing to be all spooky and scary and freak out the audience.
So I use it as a prop sometimes too, but mostly I like to take the serrated knife and then rub it
against the edge of a piece of sheet metal or various other objects
you ever accidentally cut your head off i've never cut my head off no not even like whoops
like oops i cut my whole head off my head's off no didn't cut my fingers didn't cut nothing
huh because i would i would have thought jamie and you probably agree if i ever did anything
with a knife i'd i'd accidentally cut my head off probably. Well, that's because he practices his instrument.
Oh.
He's putting in the hours.
He's woodshedding.
Yeah, you don't start with the knife.
I used a rubber knife for about three years.
Three years you used a rubber knife?
Well, yeah.
And for everything, did you replace all knives in your life with rubber knives?
No, just the performance knife. Okay okay i still need to cut mistakes well did you ever like accidentally like go to cut your stakes
and you're like fuck i got my rubber knife again well of course yeah like so you do make
and i i apologize for the pun but you do make mistakes with the knives
i don't i don't appreciate that yes yes i have made mistakes with the knives. I don't appreciate that.
Yes, I have made mistakes with the knife.
So I didn't think this was going to sound like this.
No, not at all.
This is kind of like a...
I put a video game on pause.
Oh, okay.
A video game where you're like a cloud
and you have to like
get pollution out of you or something or you're like you're in the shop buying something maybe
they were playing a bunch of like resident evil when they came up with the idea for the album plus
the artwork and so that's why it doesn't quite gel in the way that we expected it to
and when you say they we is this also OPN?
Is this also who?
What?
I said,
one of Trix Point, never.
Oh, yeah.
It's definitely,
this is definitely
the other James.
I want a Trix Point, never.
Yeah, this is definitely
Russian Mind.
This is the album Russian Mind. Russian Mind. Okay, ussian mind this is the album russian mind russian mind okay jamie
this is the tape version of the album that came out on no fun productions uh it's little known
not actually on discogs uh this is it's so little known it's edition of six are you serious uh
yeah yeah this is russian mind by one of tranks point never it's and you're serious
yes because i know because hold on because because i know we were doing
like a joke with the tapes but that one's real mike's waiting to sell this thing he's
gonna flip it on ebay oh this bonus episode just turned into a boner episode
and i'm sorry for saying and i'm sorry for saying that I'm sorry that's okay
everybody makes mistakes
this is actually pretty good
I could fall asleep to this
and that's not a diss
I'm not being mean when I say that
or I'm not being braggadocious
or anything
I could fall asleep to this
you don't think I can fall asleep to this?
Just watch me.
That would be a good personality.
Somebody who says they can fall
asleep to music and they get
really defensive about it.
I can fall asleep to anything.
Yeah.
It sounds like a
character from
I Think You Should Leave that
landed on the cutting room floor.
Guy who can fall asleep to anything.
Yeah.
So I have a few more tapes here that are mysteries,
but I also kind of enjoyed clowning your ass with your tapes
and you can't get them.
So I'm going to grab another one of yours,
and I'm going to say it's a split.
And do you want to guess, oh, this is a fun experiment, Jamie.
I'm going to tell Peter it's a split, right?
And then we'll see who he says out of all the people he did splits with.
Who is he going to say first?
Who is he going to try to avoid saying?
It's an interesting psychological dilemma you're putting him in.
Are you ready to do it?
Let's go.
I'm kind of afraid to do it, though.
Should I not do it?
You can do it.
Peter, I have a split here of yours.
Who do you think it's with?
Oh, so I can just guess anybody?
Or is it a collab?
Hmm.
Tricky.
I should look at these tapes beforehand
So I haven't done a lot of
Split tapes with people
Um
Yeah and you know
And you know what this isn't one
This isn't one anyway because it's a collab
Oh
I changed my mind
It's a collab
So it's a collab and it's on a tape
Yeah does that narrow it down
because I'm going to say
I think you strike me as someone
who has done
tons of collaborations
yeah but I usually do it under a name
you know
I give it a project name
oh is that so when you
steal their sheet metal they can't track you down
yeah exactly the cach steal their sheet metal they can't track you down?
Yeah, exactly.
The cachet of sheet metal he must have.
Yeah.
I got the stacks.
Stacks and stacks of sheet metal.
So this is a collab, yeah.
Okay, it's a collab on tape, so that's probably the Andrew Weathers collab.
That's not even any fun. I don't even want to play it now.
You know what? I will put it in.
This is on Flag Day. Give me a taste.
Flag Day. Are they from Pennsylvania, that label?
They are from Pennsylvania. Yeah.
And Andrew Webber's... I'm gonna do an album.
An excellent segue. Oh, right, right, right, right, right.
Flag Day Recordings.
That seems familiar. Peter,
did Flag Day Recordings just put out
something for you? Yeah, well,
it's coming out on the 30th,
but I don't know if I'm allowed to talk about it on the show
because it's actually on CD.
So if we just want to go past it, that's totally fine.
It's actually on CD.
You're not even going to do a tape version?
No.
I mean, no one's going to buy the CD,
so why would I make a tape version?
So your logic here is no one's going to buy the CD,
so why make a tape?
Yeah, exactly.
Not even one tape just to send me?
No, that's fine.
So how'd you hook up with Andrew Weathers?
How do you know this person?
So the first time I played with Andrew Weathers
was 2009-ish, around then.
We both ended up playing a New Year show in Texas.
And the show
was really bad.
It lasted for hours and hours
and we were both kind of miserable at it.
And I kind of didn't want to be there.
But eventually...
Ooh. Hey. Hi.
Hello, me.
Getting my picture taken right now i'm getting your photo
don't give it all away yeah uh but yeah so me and andrew's played me and andrew weathers played that
show i didn't really talk to him at that show because there's a lot of people and i was miserable
and didn't want to be there but then he was going on tour again and was going through milwaukee and
then he just found me on uh myspace or yeah do diy.org or something like that and he was like
oh yeah i remember you and then played that show milwaukee which was a much better time even though
nobody showed up to the show uh but it was nice hanging out with andrew and we kind of connected
after that and have uh he's played milwaukee a couple times and i've played with him and
you know had had some things out on full spectrum records as well.
Yeah, and so this collab was, he came through Milwaukee
and he played a show
alongside my group Bachelorette
Party, and then the next day we were on
our friend Eric's radio show, and this
was the radio show that we played.
And what'd you steal from him?
Just a general
vibe. Still general vibe.
Stole his vibe.
Oh, man.
Oh, fuck, man.
That hit me so hard.
Oh, my God.
Oh, my God, dude.
That hit me so hard.
You stole a general vibe from him.
Yeah, man.
And I hear it in this cassette.
What's he on the sixth string here, huh?
And you're just holding a knife to his throat.
Yeah, that was my contribution to this tape
was just threatening him the entire time
he's trying to record a solo set.
Do you want to,
and maybe somebody can put out another version,
do you want to real quick while this is playing
just threaten Andrew Weathers a few times?
Let's give him some space.
Hey, Andrew.
Don't you dare come back to Milwaukee.
Because last time I held a knife to your throat.
This time I'm going to push it.
I'm going to push it into your body
until blood comes out. Is that good? Is that threatening? I don't to push it. I'm going to push it into your body until blood comes out.
Is that good?
Is that threatening?
I don't threaten a lot.
Well, you didn't really say what the blood would come out of, so.
Because I was thinking, like, why is there blood coming out of the knife?
Damn it.
That's fine.
Yeah.
I always forget to say where the blood is coming out of.
With the knife.
That's probably why the art museum won't give you the time of with the knife. That's probably why
the art museum won't give you the time of day.
So this is one that doesn't...
You were right. This has many,
many, many more colors than just black and
white, such as there is pink on this
one, too. There is.
Yeah, so if I'm
not mistaken, it was sort of...
The art was sort of a collab between
me and Gretchen,
who also helps run Full Spectrum.
So she provided all of those different,
all the different images that are on there.
And then I was in charge of organizing them
and putting them all together into one cohesive thing.
So there's still some Peter Jay Woods elements on that,
like my obsession with Arial Black and also geometric shapes.
But yeah, it was a nice collab on all fronts.
It's almost as if you appreciate visual art.
It's almost as if you appreciate visual art
that is not in a fucking art museum.
One day.
I could see this thing
hanging in an art museum you know me and mike are about like a mile or no not a mile maybe two miles
from the delaware art museum when was the last time they asked us to play there right i've never
been asked i went inside the other time and they told me i couldn't bring my water into like where
the art is and it's just like what am i gonna do is splash the art right what they don't appreciate
people being hydrated when they're watching art it was so hot that day and they said i could keep
it in the hallway but like what with the strangers who's with me rude who's with me rude so why
didn't you come up with a um with a project name for this why did you decide to go with Andrew Weathers, Peter J. Woods?
It's just your names.
Right.
But see, the thing is that what we do is that we're playing as each other on it.
So I, on that tape, am Andrew Weathers, and he, on that tape, is Peter J. Woods.
Like you guys were holding hands and got struck by lightnings or something, and you switched bodies?
Start over.
What was going on it was definitely it was definitely a hot chick situation on there uh where we we switched
we switched bodies that's cool um yeah yeah uh no but uh i think we didn't go with a band name
because we knew it was just gonna be sort of a one-off thing with him living in a very different
part of the country than me so making a project name out of it seemed a little bit superfluous.
But maybe if we actually start a band,
we'll get together and make a band name after that.
Why do you keep the J end?
Why do you keep the J end?
Is that like a Michael J. Fox?
It doesn't stand for anything?
You just put it in there?
Well, that's true.
I didn't know that.
That's true.
And I'm not joking about
that one that one's real um or is it like is there was there another peter woods making
harsh noise in milwaukee and you said well i'll just put the j in the middle um i don't remember
why i started putting the j in there but i've always done it i didn't know if i had a reason
besides i thought it sounded cool.
And also sort of broke up the phallicness of my name with just having a random letter in the middle of it.
Speaking of sounding cool, I'm on your Discogs.
What is Pjacks with three X's?
Oh, man.
Now we're getting into the old school shit.
So I was way back in the day, like starting when I think I was 17 when this band started i was in a band called e equals mc hammer uh that kind of did like we were trying to
be mr bungle uh but also not quite as metal but trying to do that like jump from style to style
thing that they do on disco volante um and so yeah i was in that band and
we're it was really goofy like real dumb sense of humor so you know something that's stuck with me
this entire time apparently um but yeah we had we all uh there was a nickname uh pjacks being
you know p for peter and j for uh jacob which is my middle name uh and then adding an axe in it and
i think uh i think probably on the same record,
there's probably D-Hacks.
They got other guys named Danny.
I can look. I can click on it.
Yeah, I mean, it's not worth going down this rabbit hole,
but, you know, yeah, early projects
with a dumb sense of humor that I kind of stuck with.
Yeah.
Let's do another mystery.
You fellas down to solve another mystery?
And I swear to God,
if it's one of Trick's Point, never again.
This one can't be.
This one simply can't be.
It's just a spray painted Noroco case.
And that's all it is.
Yellow and black.
And they tried to pull off... Or is that just yellow and clear? That's a good is. Yellow and black. And they tried to pull off...
Or is that just yellow and clear?
That's a good gradient, though.
I was going to say they tried to pull off the gradient,
but they didn't really pull it off.
It's better than I could do.
That's not true.
I've seen some of your gradient work, Jamie.
It's true.
Google Spray...
This one we can do.
I know we can.
Google Spray Paint a Cassette
and see if this comes up first.
This has to work.
I did that and it brought me to a page
that's all about OneOtricksPointNever's
early work.
Did you get the same results, Jamie?
I'm on some Reddit thread.
I can't tell what I'm looking at.
Hold on. This one...
Is it in the OneOicks.never Reddit?
Yeah, it is. It's in the subreddit for 10tricks.never.
Damn it!
Yeah, this is
low patent. I can tell.
Well, this
has been quite... I gotta say...
Wow, that really
sounds like it's right in the throat.
A little wet. Very wet.
Ooh, wet filter filter that's very wet
um when we started this and i was like i knew the mystery we were going to solve the mystery
there's gonna be surprises i didn't think that it was going to be these were all very rare
one of tricks point ever cassettes that's right that's not just good for the podcast that's good
that's good for me, financially.
It's good for business.
I have invested heavily in some of the
bad cryptocurrencies.
And I've lost all of it.
As opposed to the good cryptocurrencies?
Yeah, the good ones.
You know, Jamie, give us all reverb
and maybe we can pull off
a little OPN collab.
And then we can definitely...
Peter J. Woods, Jamie Orlando.
Do you know what you're doing over there?
No.
Working on it.
Don't even do it anymore.
No, you're messing it up.
You're messing the whole thing up, Jamie.
You're messing the whole thing up.
No.
No. You messed the whole thing up. James. You're messing the whole thing up. Nah. Nah.
You messed the whole thing up.
I think I was just changing the volume.
Do another one.
So is mastering.
Mastered.
Do I get a master credit?
I'm sorry I yelled at you about the pizza.
Do you want to try to trick him again?
We'll trick Peter again with one of his tapes?
Or we'll quiz him?
Yeah.
You want to pick one of the ones that I brought?
Yeah, let's do that because then I'll be surprised.
I'll have fun.
Close my eyes.
Make sure I don't accidentally see what tape you're writing.
Cover your eyes.
Make sure it's off the frame of the video.
Okay.
Well, look at this.
And when it is, I'll uncover my eyes.
I can already tell you something I don't like about it.
It's not black? No. Don't like about it it's not black
no don't don't tell them it's not black peter okay you may begin to ask some questions okay
it's off the screen great um all right so we're doing questions again yes that's your first
question and you only get four damn it uh did i release this tape uh no you didn't okay um is the is the album cover in color
uh yes it is okay but that's like um but that isn't in color you say like here yeah yeah you
know what i mean i've seen some color i got a tape over here and
andrew weathers if you put out called rock and roll ken and will heal us right now that's colorful
that's there is a rainbows there's several that's colorful this one it's kind of like is it is it
it wasn't done on a black and white printer. Okay.
I see a pattern that he does here.
I think it's the best way to get to my stuff.
Okay.
And this is a Peter J. Woods tape?
Yes, it is.
Yep.
Can I give you one of the styles that Discogs lists?
Sound art.
Sound art.
Very good.
Sound art.
So this is sound.
And I'll give you an actually, I'll give you a good hint.
And it's actually truly a good hint.
Very thick paper on the J card.
Very thick paper. So, card. Very thick paper.
Okay, so it was a label that was investing.
It was a label that either cares
about the presentation of their tapes, or
just had access to some thick paper that day.
Hmm. Okay.
Okay.
And the cover was, was it in color? Yeah.
Yeah.
So a little bit of color.
I guess.
It's not black and white yet.
I don't know.
Can I hear it?
Yeah, sure.
And it's again, this is just like reinforcing what I said earlier.
It's not in black and white.
No, because there's like one other color.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
Okay.
I have pressed play.
Okay. Yeah, and I don't want to give away too much. don't oh god for the love of god don't give away too much yeah don't do that should i put should i
stop and put on a different tape that's not him put on some like craft work or something this sounds like sound art to me this is oh ah that that sound art
little abrasive turn that down a little bit turn it down that's sound art yeah Is this an object?
Ding, ding, ding.
Wow, you got it.
Not bad.
Turn it down more so we can discuss this.
That was impressive.
You really got that quickly.
Yeah, it was kind of that high-ending thing that was there.
I think that's what reminded me of that one.
Actually, that tape came out within the past couple of years, too,
so it's definitely generally fresh on my mind.
And also, you can tell that reverb is really good reverb.
Yeah, way better reverb.
The exact same gesture, but the reverb sounds better.
Done with more intention.
Mm-hmm.
What was the most recent cassette you put out?
Most recent Peter Jay Woods tape is probably Shorter Flagpoles.
Yeah.
Who put that out?
I'm trying to figure out.
It's a roundabout way to ask you who else is releasing your stuff.
A lot of the stuff is on your label, the ATM, F the ATM.
Yes.
Oh, wait, that is what it is.
Fuck the R. No, FTAM.
Yeah, so that was on FTAM.
I've released a lot of my own stuff. off um i'm trying to think of the most recent peter j woods joint not on ftam uh maybe today's
horrible which came out of misanthropic agenda is that a tape or is that a cd
i can't believe he would even bring it up i can't believe he would yeah i have that one
oh yeah i got a lot of your merch i think think that Objects tape I got when you played in Delaware.
That would make sense.
Yeah.
Yeah, because, yeah, I think Objects and Today's Horrible both came out pretty close to each other,
definitely in the same year.
Find out that's true, Jamie.
Get on Discogs right now and find out.
I'm on the Eagles MC Hammer page,
and I don't want to leave it just yet.
Yeah.
Mike, were you at that show when he played here?
Yeah, I was at that.
You toured with Guilty Connector in 2008, right?
No.
No?
This was very recently.
I'm sorry, 2018.
Yeah.
I'm sorry, 2018.
It was with Garrett Whitmer.
Yeah.
What did I say?
Guilty Connector. Of misanthropic agenda fame.
Hold on.
Let me go.
Let me rewind this.
I'm going to overdub this.
And who was he on tour with?
Garrett Whitmer.
And what year was it?
I think it was 2018.
Oh, yeah.
You were on tour with Garrett Whitmer in 2019 or 2018.
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Yeah.
You got it on the first try. Good job.
That's amazing.
Where did he go?
I'm glad you noticed that.
Where'd you disappear to?
I keep trying to find E-Equals-MC Hammer
records behind me so I can show you.
Oh wow, they would be that close.
Just don't get the knife. I don't want to see the knife.
I do want to see the knife.
And don't get the chain out either. Chains and knives are down in the basement. I keep't get the knife. I don't want to see the knife. I do want to see the knife. And don't get the chain out either.
Chains and knives are
down in the basement. I keep those very far away.
That's scary.
Do you have a dungeon down there?
It's mostly just
a pile of crap.
Can we see it?
No.
No, why not?
It's not for you.
Ah, it's a personal dungeon ah it's a personal dungeon it's a personal it's your
personal dungeon that's that's very sorry that was very rude of me you never asked to see another
man's dungeon jamie why'd you ask to see his dungeon you already got us in trouble when you
asked to see like aaron dilloway's bedroom that worked though it where he brought us to the
bedroom the anchovies this time it hasn't worked on anybody else since him though
you guys think you're better than aaron dilloway i think that's my takeaway It hasn't worked on anybody else since him, though.
You guys think you're better than Aaron Dilloway.
I think that's my takeaway.
I mean, I'm still kind of salty that he's on the cover of The Wire, and I'm not, so... Oh, you'll get there.
Pretty fresh wound right now.
Why don't we do this?
Why don't we put on one more
of your tapes?
We'll make it a mystery, but we'll make it a quick mystery.
And then I want you to tell me
what's... I don't want you to tell me about your new one.
You can talk about the new one a little bit.
Even though it's not on cassette.
You can talk about it...
You can talk about we're going to turn you way down
and turn the tape up. Do you want to do that?
Here's what I'll do. I'll talk a little bit about my new one
but then transition that
into the actual new tape that I might have
coming out soon.
I'm going to tell you this.
This tape, it's black and white, but the
extra color is blue. Do you know what it is?
This is one of mine?
Yeah.
It's mostly
black and white.
The extra color is blue.
The tape is blue. It looks very nice. Like a cyan.
The tape is blue.
And it's a Peter J. Woods tape?
Yeah. And it looks like it's got
a worm on the cover.
Oh.
Yeah. That's
the No Run tape.
It is the No Run tape.
The Illusory Hope.
You got it.
It should be playing.
Is it turned all the way down?
Oh, I'm so sorry.
Turn it all the way up.
And, Peter, tell us about your new one that's not on tape.
It's on CD.
Talk about that for a little bit.
Yeah, I got it.
Louder.
Make it louder.
Yeah, crank it. That's good. That'sder. Make it louder. Yeah, crank it. and a synthesizer.
All right, and what else do you have coming out on your label?
You can turn it down for this.
That's the tape.
So coming out on FTAM next is going to be, I've got two things.
One is a box set, which I've, I don't want to say I've been working on it this entire time, but I started working
on it. I got some good stuff and then
COVID happened and it just took me a while to put it out.
But this is a collection of field
recordings that I took at Planet Fitnesses
around southern Wisconsin.
You're doing like DIY
Peloton training videos, aren't you?
Yeah, I am. So that's another thing
that I'm involved with. I'm on Twitch
every Tuesday at some point. I do a 30-minute Peloton where it's really just me riding a bike and yelling motivational things while I'm riding the, because I had a conversation with the official, uh,
Twitter account of Planet Fitness and they told me to make a mixtape when I was talking about all
the crazy sounds that were happening there. And I wasn't going to back down from that.
Um, so that's coming out soon. It's a four tape, uh, box set, all of them around C100s.
So it's a pretty, uh, sizable amount of material. Uh, and then along with that is going to be a remix album
from Hypertrophy who took all of
Hypertrophy. No, it's
Hypertrophy. I think if enough people
call it Hypertrophy, we can call it that.
Hypertrophy just sounds cooler
and I feel like thematically it fits.
Listen, I ordered the
tape, right? And then when I found out
it wasn't hypertrophy,
and it was hypertrophy,
I almost didn't want the tape anymore.
So I think if enough people call it hypertrophy,
I think that can take over.
As the head of the label that's releasing this tape,
I get to decide how you pronounce that.
I'm in charge now.
You do have a bit of an artistic license for that.
Yeah.
Legally.
Legally speaking.
When you're a part of the FTAM family,
I get to decide what you do and don't do creatively.
Yeah, we don't like to get too deep into label law around here,
but what you're saying is 100% correct.
So hypertrophy. So you're putting out
a hypertrophy tape. That's cool.
Yeah, I figure if I'm going to release
a bunch of field recordings of Planet Fitnesses
that it would just make sense to get a remix
album out of it from the
one and only exercise
and weightlifting themed
Harsh Noise Project out there.
Yeah, I'm excited about it
uh we just put in the order for that tape today so it's probably going to be not until early
october that it's going to happen but when it does watch out everyone watch out everybody just
watch out that tape drop all six of you out there that buy tapes off of me just just keep an eye on
your post office box because it's good
it's gonna come trust me we're gonna give this up to seven after this episode drops oh damn peter
thanks for hanging out thanks for identifying this never done thanks for id'ing all these opn
tapes for me i appreciate it i'm gonna be i'm gonna be a rich man on discogs. We'll go out on this the elu... What is it?
The illusory of... What is it?
The illusory hope.
What? The illusory of hope.
It's just illusory hope.
The illusory hope.
On no rent. What's that from?
That one's probably
also from 2018.
I think I bought it at the show from you.
2018 was a big year.
I think I had 10 releases come out that year.
Just guess 2018.
Not bad.
All right, Peter.
Well, thanks again.
Thank you.
Thanks for having me.
Take care.
Mute us. Thank you. Thank you. Thanks for watching!
