I think your microphone's on, dude.
Is my microphone on now? Yeah, your mic's on. dude. Is my microphone on now?
Yeah, your mic's on.
All right.
Tabs out.
Save that one for the blooper reel.
Tabs out.
Inaugural podcast.
Going to talk about some cassette tapes.
We're going to play some cassette tapes.
We're going to call some people about some cassette tapes.
Maybe we'll talk to some other people about some cassette tapes. That's call some people about some cassette tapes maybe we'll talk
to some other people about some cassette tapes that's about that's about everything right yeah
yeah it's about everything all right so yeah so i gotta let's get let's get right into the first
jam here where are we playing we always play all right got the robert turman neon depth split
on a sound design recording.
A fine label.
A fine label.
David Russell's label out of Ohio.
Awesome label. I believe Neon Depth is David Russell and John Elliott,
and I'm pretty sure that Robert Turman remixes their track on here.
At least that's how I remember it.
You see this one, Dave?
You want to get your hands on that, Dave?
Yeah, I want to look at it a little bit.
You want to feel that one with your giant hands?
Yeah.
Yeah, I dig the art.
Yeah, Sound Design Records is a prequel label.
They have awesome stenciling on all the shells and stuff like that.
Dave, I know Dave likes the round corner Norelco cases.
Yeah, they are rocking the round corner Norelcos.
You don't want to have those hard corner ones.
Because these don't break in the mail as easy.
Like, you get those thin ones that don't have the round corners,
and they get caught in, like, the packaging and stuff,
and then the hinges break off.
Yeah, you don't want that.
Tape sucks already.
You don't want to complain.
Yeah, you know when you get the envelope in the mail
and you open it up and the first thing that falls out
is that little nub of plastic.
You know right away it's broken.
It's always a bummer.
Can't even play it.
I don't even want that.
I'm sending that back.
I'm sending that back.
I'm demanding a refund.
Another thing I've been noticing about Narokos
is those little nubs, the little spool nubs I've been missing off of them.
I noticed that on the last couple of tapes I've gotten, that they haven't had those nubs, which seems like a ridiculous thing.
30 years later to decide that you're going to like, nah, get rid of those.
Yeah, there's like a million different versions of Noroco cases,
and I don't think any of them have any company name on them whatsoever,
so I don't even understand the point of having a...
Isn't Noroco the company?
Is that not the company, Noroco?
I don't know.
What are the other ones?
I mean, if one's called Noroco's, what are the other ones called?
You just blew my mind.
I don't know.
I have no clue.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
I assumed Naralco was the name of the company,
but you know what? Maybe not.
It's got a little squeak to it.
That sounds good.
Sounds real nice.
But yeah, enough talking about the case.
I'm going to play
the Robert Turman side of the split.
The track is called The Depths of Neon
or The Depth of Neon
singular

Dave, you got a jam here?
Yeah, I got an Expo 70 tape.
I think it was from either late 2009 or early 2010.
It's called Quarters to Infinity.
It's pretty sweet. It's a limited edition. to Infinity. It's pretty sweet.

The leader is pink, yeah.
It's pretty awesome.
This is crazy.
So yeah, Expo 70 is Justin Wright.
This is on his label, Sonic Meditations.
McKinley Jones is on this tape.
He does Breathing Flowers, which I got a jam on Sonic Meditations.
It's pretty good.
McKinley Jones.
Do you have that Breathing Flowers tape?
I think I do, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
It's got like the gradient.
I was just going to say,
it's got like,
doesn't all the shit
on that label
have like a gradient though?
Does it also have
like a picture of outer space?
Let me see the header
real quick though.
In all seriousness,
this is like a stunning
looking tape here.
Yeah, it's awesome.
It's pretty awesome.
Red Norelco shell

at least used to go by Door.
Since then, I think he's
put stuff out under Earth Crown
and Copper Glove.
Maybe a few other names.
This tape is called Destroy All.
It's on Arbor.
Pretty awesome but this tape is called Destroy All it's on Arbor pretty awesome tape
pretty weird dude
straight up
post apocalyptic
dude
Dave you know this tape at all?
no I'm not familiar with this one
it's pretty scummy
but gonna jam a clip from this tape at all? No, I'm not familiar with this one. It's pretty scummy.
But I'm going to jam a clip from this tape from Side A,
Door, Destroy All. © BF-WATCH TV 2021 I'm sorry. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I'm going to go ahead and start the engine. Thank you. Thank you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Thank you. Right on.
There's a clip from Doors Destroy All Tape on Arbor.
Arbor number, what do we got here? Arbor number something. Maybe it doesn't say. Arbor. Arbor number... What do we got here?
Arbor number something.
Maybe it doesn't say. Arbor 25.
Dig it.
Dig it.
I met that dude one time who the Arbor Records dude,
Mike Pollard, he said he had never played
the original Super Mario Brothers.
I don't even know how that's possible.
Which I find hard to believe.
Is he our age? Huh? Is he like our age? I don't even know how that's possible. Which I find hard to believe. Is he our age?
Huh?
Is he like our age?
I don't really know.
Give or take like five years.
Five to seven years.
Give or take like 20 years.
Are you asking if he's like my dad's age?
No, I don't know.
But I find that hard to believe
no matter what age you are
that you seriously have never played
Super Mario Brothers.
Ever. Ever. Yeah, that's kind of ridiculous it's kind of ridiculous it's kind of kind of don't believe them whatever still good tape yeah good jam good jam all right
yeah I think we're gonna do a uh a cut from uh like never played it before in his life
give me a break a cut from... Like never played it before in his life.
Give me a break.
We're going to do a cut from
a tape on
Ghetto Naturalist series
from the dude Scully
or Scaloria.
He goes under different names depending on the release.
Co-founder of the Ghetto Naturalist.
I was going to say, how does that work?
I don't really understand.
I don't really understand either.
What's his name?
Nathan Brennan.
Yeah.
And then the dude, Thomas Genendus or Genendus, I think.
I'm totally butchering his first name, by the way.
His first name? Yeah. Thomas? I think. I'm totally butchering his first name, by the way. His first name?
Yeah.
Thomas?
I think you nailed it, man.
I think it's the last name you're having a little bit of a problem with there.
Yeah, how's that work?
He's from Germany.
Yeah.
He lives in Germany, so I don't really know how it works.
And they both do the label?
I don't really know how it works.
Here, hand me that gem over.
I like all the Ghetto Naturalist tapes.
They have a good look to them. I like all the Ghetto Naturalist tapes. They have a good look to them.
I like all the artwork.
It's like crazy spray paint, weird shit going on.
It's kind of multimedia because there's pictures in there.
There's spray paint.
But you know when the only other label, there's one other label from like,
I think from like Italy or something like that,
that looks a lot like the Ghetto.
Yeah, I always get those two mixed up.
They look the same.
I keep them very close on the shelf just in case,
because I'm bound to mix them up.
So I'm keeping them together anyway.
I keep them on completely different racks.
You don't want them mingling.
Okay, I can get that.
I can get behind that.
But actually, that's a really good label too.
But if anyone out there knows how this works
with both of them running the label,
is it like, I mean, it's one label.
It's not like there's – I don't know.
I don't know if it really matters.
Yeah, I don't really understand how they collaborate.
Yeah, someone get in touch.
Someone get in touch and let us know how this works or we will never play another tape off this label again.
But all right, what are we going to do?
Just maybe play a little bit and then fade it out.
How long is this tape, Dave?
I'm not really sure. What is this tape called?
This is
Scully and
honestly it doesn't
have a title. There's no title
on the spine and there's no title on the insert
but this is Scully. It's
Gator Naturalist number 17
and side A
I'm not going to pronounce
because it's impossible.
Literally impossible.
There's like symbols in it
and C's with slashes through them.
Where do you even find that keyboard?
You're not finding that at Staples.
You pronounce that shit.
Hold on, let me look.
I'll give it a shot.
What is that side?
This isn't a real word. I'll give it a shot. What is that? Nine more cock.
Dim.
This isn't a real word.
This isn't a word in anyone's language.
All right.
We'll play a little bit of that.
And,
uh, side.
Hey,
here it is. Thank you. I'm sorry. so
oh I'm not sure if I can do this. so
oh so Thank you. so
uh Thank you. Thank you. so
so Thank you. so Thank you. uh
oh Thank you. Thank you. © BF-WATCH TV 2021 Yeah.
That was Scully
slash Scaloria.
Like a
signature
thing after the
tape plays. You go, yeah.
Yeah.
I'll figure out something better. Laying down the groundwork for a T-shirt with your face on it that says, yeah, underneath of it.
Tabs out T-shirts coming soon.
So, yeah, that was Scully slash Scaloria.
Getternaturalist tape number 17.
If you want to check out more Get naturalist stuff you can uh go to
internet series.blogspot.com go to the internet if you google it you don't need to tell people
how to get this or you can look up scoloria band camp to find scoloria's stuff i had a hard time
finding that actually it took me a couple google searches before i actually find where i actually
came across a lot of X-Files
shit first? Yeah, yeah. All kinds of weird shit.
Who's texting me?
You got a text. I don't know. It just says one new
message. Alright.
Sorry for the interruption.
Oh, look who it is.
Is it Josh?
It's S*** who we tried to
call earlier for
an interview when he didn't answer.
Just got a text message.
Sorry, bud was in the shower.
Doing some night showering over there in New Orleans.
Let's try calling him again.
Yeah, let's give him a call.
Do you still have his number in here?
No, hold it up for me.
Let me see it.
Oh, Christ.
Now I've got to go find his number in my very own smartphone.
Let's see here.
Should I just say it? Should I just say it?
Should I just read it?
Maybe not.
KL5.
KO2.
All right, we're going to give...
We're going to give us...
Mr. Witchbeam from Telecall Powers a phone call.
Do a little interview.
See how this goes over.
Let's see if we have everything set up right.
I'm calling him now. You should come over here.
Okay, here I come.
Alright.
Let's give him a call.
Is that dialing? Yeah, it's give him a call. Is that dialing?
Yeah, it's dialing.
Here we go.
Hello?
Yeah, what's up?
Pretty good.
Hey, it's 10 o'clock.
Just when you said that you'd be calling.
I know.
I called earlier and you didn't pick up.
I hear you were in the shower.
Word has it you were showering.
Yeah, I was.
How was that?
I liked it.
What's that?
I liked it.
I don't know.
I enjoyed it very much.
I enjoyed showering. Oh, yeah? I don't. Yeah I enjoyed it very much. I enjoyed showering.
Oh, yeah?
I don't.
Yeah, well, I'm, how do I, you know, I get dirty, you know, so.
You usually have to shower after you get dirty.
Hey, how's it going?
This is Dave.
We met at Voice of the Valley last year.
I was with Mike.
Hey, how are you? If you don't know, you're the first interview
on the Tabs Out podcast going on right now.
Oh, shit.
No cursing, please.
This is a family program.
What?
Nothing.
What was that?
Sorry
Can you guys call me back
And we'll just start over
We can start over right now
You want us to start
The entire podcast over?
Just my phone call
Just his phone call
Alright
Just pretend like we're calling you back now

Is this... No.
No, it's not.
Could we talk to...
Please?
Wait, who is this?
No.
I don't know...
Doesn't exist.
This phone call...
No.
This phone call definitely exists
because you're using Dave's minutes.
Nope. He hung up. this phone call definitely exists because you're using Dave's minutes alright so what do you got from Telecall Powers
let me see if I got the
the
Telecall Powers Bob Bellarue
baked in the kitchen
collaboration tape
that was put out by
Baked Tapes Jesseesse derose's label
uh i had it right in front of me now i'm gonna text to see if it's from
he said don't bow my cover i think he meant don't blow my cover
and then the second text is blow. Okay, so I was right.
It wasn't just an assumption.
He doesn't want me to blow his cover.
All right, well, I'm not going to blow his cover.
I got a third text going on here while I queue up this tape.
Let's see what the third text is.
It's something about which beam. Oh, he wants... Something about Witchbeam.
I think we should start over because I think he wants us to call him by a different name.
Do you actually want to start all over again?
Maybe we should start all over again.
You want to start it?
We can do that.
Yeah, let's start all over again.
I want to call him back.
That was so good.
Wait, here's what we'll do. We'll start it. I'm just going to him back. That was so good. Wait.
Here's what we'll do.
We'll start it. I'm just going to keep it
recording.
Keep it recording right now.
We're going to start it over,
but every time we say
including that time,
we'll bleep it out.
No.
Because he's not going
to go along with it.
No.
I mean every time before,
but now we'll call him
which beam.
Okay.
Then every time we said
before,
including when I said it right here okay we'll
bleep it so you'll hear like beep okay okay call him back i like how we called on your phone but
he texted back online it's gone very smoothly is it the 718 number yeah don't blow don't bow his Tell us cover. All right. All right. Okay, let's just start.
Witch beam interview.
I guess take one.
How are we going to say this?
Is he calling you?
Oh, shit.
He's calling you.
Witch beam.
What's up?
Hey, man. give us one second.
We're going to introduce the interview.
Oh.
Wait, are you not recording right now?
No, I'm recording right now.
Okay.
Okay, here we are.
Tab's out.
Interview number one with Witchbeam and nothing else.
He's not called anything else.
Witchbeam, what's going on, man?
Hey, what's happening?
Not a whole lot.
We were just...
Who is this?
This is Mike Haley.
Oh, hey, Mike.
What's up?
Not much, man.
We were just...
How are you doing?
I'm doing pretty good.
I was just watching The Producers with my wife.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah.
How's that going?
Pretty good.
I'd never seen it before.
Did we interrupt?
It's all right.
We did, but it's all right?
It got a little dry there.
Okay.
60s comedies are, I don't know.
I hear you.
So what's going on with you?
How's your kid?
The kid's good.
I'm more focused on cassette tapes right now.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah, as far as this interview goes.
Oh, right.
Have you talked to Grasshopper lately?
What's up? Have you talked to Grasshopper lately? What's that?
Have you talked to Grasshopper lately?
You know what? We just got off the phone with Jesse.
Really?
We were going to, because when you didn't pick up the phone because you were in the shower,
we were going to interview him, but he had just eaten a hot cookie and couldn't handle it.
Oh, okay. Okay.
All right.
So we're back to you.
What up?
And he's in New York right now, so he's probably got, like, you know.
Everything's all busy out there, you know.
Oh, my God.
He's probably, like.
Everybody's all, like, making deals and stuff.
I know.
He's probably, like, hang gliding with the guy from the Strokes right now.
Exactly.
So he can't talk right now.
And he's probably, like.
Probably, like, brokering deals with like big shots yeah exactly he's probably like a yeah he's probably like an 80 dollar hamburger
somewhere yeah but you you're down in new orleans now right yes they gave up how's that going for
you do you like it down there? No, I love it down here
Yeah
Yeah, it's like living in a
It's not quite a third world country
So it's kind of like living in a second world country, I think
Right in the middle
Yeah
What prompted the move down to New Orleans?
I just
One day I looked around New York
And all I saw was shit and garbage.
You're not talking about Jesse DeRuth, are you?
I just couldn't take it anymore, man.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The phoniness of New York City just really broke me one day.
So did you have New Orleans in mind for a while, or you just decided?
Yeah. My wife and I got married down here,
so we had very romantic notions of what it could be.
He's living up to those notions.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I really enjoy it.
Nice.
And you've been jamming with Steve Kenny down there, right?
He moved down there around the same time?
Yeah, he's like an old-time New Orleans type.
Oh, yeah?
Was he from New Orleans?
He was here for years.
And then, yeah, he comes over usually on Fridays and we'll jam for a little while.
He plays his Katrina Damage Pro one pro one you know the famous demons one
is it legitimately katrina damaged uh well i don't know there was like a story it was
like i think it was like in the back of the first demons record or something where they had to like
sneak in there and get the pro on.
I don't know if it was legitimately damaged or if it was just damaged,
but it sounds murky and good.
Nice.
You can hear some of our music on the My Castle Quiet compilation for their last fundraiser for WFMS.
Nice, nice.
Do you guys have a name you planned?
DAS Valley.
DAS being like the entrance,
like the dark side of the Tree of Life.
We both like kind of like pretentious,
pro-wee kind of shit.
Nice, nice.
You still doing,
are you and Matt
still doing Telecon?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
We're playing a couple weeks
at the End Times Fest
in New York.
Oh, yeah?
Do you still,
what do you get up to
like New York
every once in a while
or has he been down
in New Orleans
to visit you at all?
No, he hasn't come to visit yet.
That sounds like a bad friend, Witchbeam.
I think so, too.
Hey, man, if you're listening, what the fuck's your problem?
What the fuck is your problem, man?
Yeah, so, you know, end times,
we got some stuff lining up later on in the year that I can't really talk about, but, you know, end times, we've got some stuff lining up later on in the year that I can't really talk about.
Legally, you can't talk about it?
Well, I just haven't really confirmed, you know.
Right on.
You know, and so, you know, that's still going.
I'm playing with Donald Miller from Borbadeo Magus down here, too.
Oh, nice.
Keep him a little busy, you know.
Staying busy down there then, huh?
A little bit.
What about solo stuff?
You still doing some solo stuff?
Yeah, I'm playing on Tuesday, actually.
You should probably say, I just played like two Tuesdays ago,
because it's probably going to take us a while to get this all finished.
All right.
How'd that show go two Tuesdays ago?
What's that?
How'd that show go two Tuesdays ago?
Yeah, it was really good.
Really great turnout.
I hear you killed a guy.
You don't really get a lot of people out for noise in New Orleans,
but, you know, I was surprised to see, like, gosh,
there must have been, like, 50 people there, so that was cool.
Signed some autographs.
Let's see.
They're, you know, kind of like a typical night for, like, a guy like me, I guess.
You're normally signing autographs late at night.
Yeah.
Neighborhood kids are just showing up at your door,
begging for that witch's name.
Cocaine and limos, dude.
Cocaine and limos.
Nice, nice.
So you've been doing, I know you do,
you lay down some pretty heavy artwork.
You've been working on any artwork for anybody's releases or anything lately?
Actually, no.
No, that's not done.
I've had a few offers.
People want me to do art for them, and I think about it.
I think it's a great idea, and then I just don't do it.
Just laziness, huh?
Yeah. Well, I don't know.
It's laziness and disinterest, I guess,
because I'm like, you know,
I always get halfway through something,
and I'll be like, I should just keep this for myself, you know?
Yeah, right on.
You know, that's what it boils down to is, I don't know,
the last time I did some commercial art for someone,
I just didn't really like what they used it for.
What did they use it for?
I'm not really going to, I can't really go into that,
but you're not going to name names.
You're not going to name names.
I had to cover my mouth, like, name names.
You know, I find something really distasteful about, like, creating art for money,
which is probably why I'm broke.
Right on.
Well, Witchbeamam we're about to play
the
Telecode Powers
Bob Bellarue
Baked in the Kitchen
collaboration cassette
you got anything
you want to say
about that
that was
that was filmed
at a really
cool time
this is
see that was
at the kitchen
in New York
where Bob
worked for a long time.
And we, I don't know, we'd go in there late night and jam really loud
through like really pro equipment, you know.
When was it recorded?
I'm glad we captured it.
About when was it recorded?
Oh gosh, must have been it recorded? Oh, gosh. Must have been, like,
2008. 2008. Nice.
Yeah. That was really
cool, because that was right when we met Jesse
DeRosa, and he really wanted to do a
telecult release, and
we were like, well, you know,
we, um...
Actually, I just ran across
his correspondence the other day, because
I was deleting our MySpace account.
Just got around to that?
Going down memory lane, seeing some old MySpace messages.
There was one between me and Jesse, and it was like,
yeah, I don't really have anything to give you telecom-related
except for this thing that we've been doing with Bob.
And Jesse was like, stand it, because Big Santa Bob's work, too.
Nice, nice.
All right, well, we're going to play that.
Thanks for taking a second for us to call you,
and then you call us, then text me, and then call us back.
Hey, no problem, man. Thank you. I'm going to go ahead and turn it off. Thank you. I'm sorry. Thank you. Thank you. © BF-WATCH TV 2021 Thank you. The The End so
uh Thank you. Wow. Thank you. The End Thank you. The I'm going to go ahead and get back to the bus. so
so The End Thank you. I'm going to go ahead and turn right here. Thank you. Wow. Thank you. Thank you. The Thank you. so Thank you. so Thank you. Thank you. All right.
That was a decent chunk of the Telecall Powers Bob Bellarue Baked in the Kitchen
collab cassette. That one's on baked tapes.
Dave, you got a jam here.
What do you got?
Yeah, I got a cut from the Andreas Brendel tape, Counterparts, which is on Gold Timers out of Chicago.
Let me see that.
Andreas Brendel, he's a dude from Norway.
Hand that over.
I've done a few tapes for him.
Mike's done a few tapes for him.
He's done a shitload of stuff under different names.
Flesh Coffin under his own name, Andreas Brandl.
Hour of the Wolf. He just did
a, he just started a Harsh Noise
Wall project.
I think just this
month, the first release came out on some
Canadian label I can't remember the name of.
Yeah, I remember when this Gold Timers
label, when he first started putting out tapes.
You thought it was David Smith. Yeah, I could have swore iters label, when he first started putting out tapes. You thought it was Daniel Smith.
Yeah, I could have swore it was Neon Blossom.
Yeah, the electric rainbow dude, right?
Yeah, man.
They were both named Dan, both out of Chicago, both had similar aesthetics to their labels.
I even went as far as they both registered their domains with GoDaddy.com.
I was doing some
of my due diligence with that.
Not only that, but on message board
posts and stuff, the way that they...
Yeah, the way he formatted everything with
the color fonts and stuff like that.
I still think it's Dan Smith.
I kind of agree.
Yeah, I kind of agree.
Yeah, the Goldtimer stuff is
I like how
he'll put out a batch of tapes
and he'll have
a theme for the artwork
going. And then
when he puts out the next batch, it's a totally
different kind of theme.
But yeah, everything always
looks really good.
All his stuff is
like pro dubbed and sounds really really awesome he's a really good label always puts out good
stuff and andreas brendel by the way uh everything that i've heard from that dude has been really
good and he really mixes up a lot like all of his shit sounds what's the name of his like he has a
label doesn't he that he does, it is... Something with time.
Midnight something or nighttime something.
It's night something.
Night something.
Goddammit, I can't remember.
Sorry, Andreas, if you ever hear this, I can't remember the name of your label.
But it's a net label.
He does CDR.
He burns CDRs if you want a physical copy of his stuff.
Twilight Luggage.
Twilight Luggage, that's it, yeah yeah and you just google that and you'll
find it yeah it's a cool label he's got a couple uh comps that i've that i've heard that i really
like and a couple other releases that i can't remember the name of right now that i really
like yo i'm digging this j card it's got like this solid image on the inside that's like pretty
cool yeah yeah it's like oh yeah yeah yeah. Yeah, Gold Timers definitely.
That's got to be printed, right?
As opposed to what?
As opposed to.
You think it's a hologram?
As opposed to physically.
No, like stamp.
No, no, no. It's printed on there.
No.
Yeah, Gold Timers is definitely an awesome label out of Chicago.
Puts out some pretty crazy good stuff.
Always looks good.
Always sounds good.
And same goes for Andres Brandl.
And here is something off of his tape, Counterparts. Thank you. © transcript Emily Beynon so
so Thank you. © transcript Emily Beynon The So that was a cut off of Andreas Brendel's tape on Gold Timers called Counterparts.
Yeah, cool stuff.
What do you got, Mike?
All right.
What do I have here?
Got a developer quilt split.
I think I'm going to play a little bit from the developer side.
It's a project by Matt Reese out of Dayton, Ohio.
Does another project called Teeth Collection.
And I don't know if he's still doing his... still doing Factotum tapes or not.
Or is it Factotum?
What is he doing now?
He was doing...
Either he was doing Factotum,
he stopped it to do something else,
or...
I...
I'm not sure.
I mean, I...
I kept up with Factotum for a little bit,
but I haven't seen anything.
Either way, Matt's a cool dude.
I saw him play in Newark.
What was it, a couple years ago?
Yeah, he was.
He did like an acoustic.
Yeah, that was like his teeth collection thing.
It was like all acoustic kind of.
It's weird.
Like teeth collection used to be like,
it's like his harsher stuff.
And then he, I guess guess started doing like more weird acoustic plucking on pine cones and banjos and shit
putting stuff in bowls yeah walking some mosquitoes down the street and stuff
which is still an awesome project, Teeth Collection.
And then I guess he's our developer.
It's more of the harsher stuff.
And this tape, it's a split with Quilt.
It's on Orange Milk Records, which I really don't know anything about.
Orange Milk Records, I don't know who does it or where it's from or whatever.
But yeah, here's a little cut off of the developer side. Thank you. © BF-WATCH TV 2021 I'm going to go. Thank you. so Thank you. Thank you. so Thank you. Oh Thank you. so The The Thank you. Thank you. I'm going to go back to the hotel. All right, so that was a cut from a developer quilt split on Orange Milk Records.
Don't know too much about Orange Milk Records.
Apparently they're out of Brooklyn, New York.
And checking online, they've got a couple pretty seemingly awesome releases on here uh got a lp from uh sean mccann called open resolve uh and aiden baker and oh is that on orange milk yeah yeah i feel
like i have that or is there like wait is that the table on stunned open resolve uh that's a good
question i'm not sure it's like like an LP version of it or something.
Yeah, there's an Aiden Baker
and This Quiet Army LP.
There's a Sundrips cassette.
Good stuff.
Hobo Cubes.
There's also a developer
in Henry Dawson's split.
Some other Henry Dawson stuff.
Yeah, it seems like
a solid label. Seems like worthson stuff. Yeah, it seems like a solid label.
Seems like worth checking out.
Yeah.
All right, we're right on the last cut here on Tabs Out.
Number one, I'm going to play five patterns off of a growing tape
put out a couple years back by Animal Disguise.
I don't know if growing is still
even
doing stuff anymore.
I feel like there was a time where
you heard that name constantly.
They were growing,
putting out LPs and touring all the time.
I haven't heard.
Have you heard of them putting anything out recently?
Did we see them open for
Bastard Noise?
No, no, no. I saw
Growing open for Thrones.
When was that? That was at Kung Fu
Necktie in Philly probably
three or four years ago.
They were doing really beat-driven
stuff, but that was the last I
heard of Growing.
I don't know if they're just inactive at the moment maybe someone moved somewhere else not really sure but uh this tape is like the artwork is if you want to talk about getting
like minimal with artwork yeah that white piece of paper that just says side a five patterns side b you know some track
titles record it membership growing sound.com yeah seriously just yeah seriously going bare minimum
here but uh either way here it is five patterns by growing and that's it for tabs out if you listen thanks for listening
and maybe we'll do this again right dave you think we'll do it again yeah i think we'll do it again
and i think we should uh ask people maybe to uh send some stuff in for dave already looking for
free shit yeah i'm already looking for free shit. Yeah, I'm already looking for free shit. I'm already looking for free shit. All right, right on.
Growing. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The Thank you. I'm going to go to the next room. Thank you. The Thank you. Thanks for watching! Thank you.
