I know a little something about business, and I got to say, I'm getting a little upset with all these business terms being thrown around.

You know what I saw earlier in J-Card? Mixed buy. Well, it's when you move some sliders around. No, I thought that was mastering. No, no, no, no, Matt. Yeah. You got it all wrong. Either way, what is it?

NNA Tips, you said they've acquired this label. I don't think they've acquired it. I think they must have bought all the stock from the label that put it out and they did some acquisitions but they have acquired this label I'll tell you what I did a little research before the show because I thought that this tape was not on anybody's radar and apparently it's been written up in Pitchfork magazine it's been released on vinyl what numbers did it get on Pitchfork? Oh, I didn't... I should have looked that up.

on the band camp there is a picture of this person and does not look like that to me but you never know what they can do with the Photoshop these days. This table was also mixed by one person, mastered by somebody else. Well, I mean, if you're going to get in Pitchfork, you've got to put together a professional package. Yeah, that's actually, you know, you make a good point. I may talk a little bit of shit, but Pitchfork has yet to give me anything close to an 8 or any other number. Well, I love the glitter shells because it doesn't get the glitter all over my hands like all my kids' school projects. I always get glitter all over my hands. So I dig it when it's encased in the resin or however they do it. they're a little bit Leonard Cohen-like, a little bit baritone and gruff. And I don't know, just a cool vibe. Bought it on one of the band camp Fridays and I dig. You dig the art? I don't dig the art. No, this art looks like an old, bad hardcore 7-inch. Right before

it looks like a... Let's see who made it before. If there's somebody who's big and strong I won't make fun of it. I can't find out who did the art. It doesn't say. They left their name out of shame. I even have, I got a little note here. On the band camp, it says that it talks about what the tape mostly is, the static loops and such. And it talks about how the granulated sources are treated with a filter bank and reticon chips oh and when i saw that i said yeah you know what i kind of thought i'd recognize the reticon chip i heard some tapes i listened to and i'm like there's not even any chips and then i heard the reticon chip on here and i was like me my guys i hate when motherfuckers put out synthesizer tapes and they don't have they got like i'm like where's the reticon chip oh it's out at the end it's at the end i'm like there's not even any chips uh but this one's good really good granulation there there's a bit of collage on the

artwork it came with a nice picture of john's cat. Quite a unit of a cat. I'm not a big cat person, but I'd imagine you'd be very proud of yourself if you owned that cat. You're almost there. It's a cat, Jamie. Play one more. We simply don't have time for this um a beautiful is this a bronze naroko case is that bronze or is it gold i don't know because when they show the olympics i can't really tell the difference between the bronze and the gold yeah is this it's so there's like a bronze

cut out all that there's like a bronze narorelco case and a beautiful what is that a tapioca shell i love those with the pink imprint it's it's got a nice finger finger uh tactile response you're talking about around the edges of the tape the texture there i love it get out of here a little something extra to feel yeah everything about this the the it's very it's very good now i don't have to explain it any further than that you'll hear and there's chips the reticon chip is on it ambient noise let me see if i have anything else to say about that i think this was all from 2019 to 2020 john elli from the storied trio Emeralds.
