I don't know how that works. You can cast a pod. Before we get into this first tape, I want to say, last night I was buying some stuff,

buying some tapes online. And do you remember, who was it? What are they called? Run DMT. We were talking about it last time. Yeah, yeah. On some label called CGI Fridays.

I looked that up. I found the tape. And I went to buy the tape, and it cost $420. And then after shipping, it cost $666. So I feel like CGI Fridays is my new. I haven't had a chance to dive into it yet. But I feel like that's my favorite current label right now. That's pretty awesome.

Yeah, it's pretty incredible. So hopefully that Run DMT. I don't know what run dmt sounds like whatsoever and like to be honest i i don't really care that's just kind of an amazing name anybody else buying any new tapes recently um pick up any new jams i got some somewhat new stuff that we haven't gotten to yet but you jump out you've been shopping. Yeah, yeah. I'm still waiting on a bunch of stuff. Most recent batch from Posh Isolation.

Danish label. I really like a lot. And then there's some really limited, shockingly, some really limited stuff from Hospital that I bought. What's the name of his new label? Did we figure that out last time? Oh, Bed of Nails. Bed of Nails?

I got a tape here by a project called noise altar which is done by this guy kevin who i'm not i'm not sure where he lives now i saw on internet that he is from delaware and lives somewhere else now he sent this tape in and i'm not really sure it's like it's kind of like handmade and like you know i'm not you know it's like the name is written on the spine like really nicely it's like what is that calligraphy what is that called

i think that's calligraphy yeah yeah i'm so i'm not sure if this is like a one-off thing or if you made a bunch of them but he sent me this tape it's really good so i think we're gonna play i think i gotta queue up here on the b-side somewhere play a little bit off the b-side and what's the name of it? It's a collaboration between Sean McCann and this dude, Greg Minotta. And I looked that dude up, but I think he's only done collabs with Sean McCann. Those dudes have been recording for like years, apparently. But there's only two releases and they're both on uh anathema maybe he's like what are those like um when you're born with like a twin attached to you but it like it died in like the womb what is that called maybe that's greg and he just kind of hands there sean like put some sort of like uh you know, just presses a keyboard against his face.

Yeah. If that was a project, that shit would be the best. Let me see this tape because I was looking at a little bit downstairs and I noticed the covers cut quite small. Yeah, it's kind of small, but I mean,

Well, I think the other tape was like kind of pixelated or something. And you know what I really like about this? And this is like a little detail that a lot of people, they don't go that extra mile. How there's a label on both sides of the tape. A lot of people, you're just getting the A-side label. This guy went the extra mile he spent the extra what the pennies it cost but it really stretches and i never looked is that uh is that can you tell if that's just like the cover like pasted on those or is that it's like the cover art printed onto the label yeah but it looks really fucking good yeah yeah um i've been listening to a lot of sean mccann stuff lately that dude like really

turns it out doesn't yeah he does and it's all really good yeah i guess that's what it's i wonder what it's like to have talent yeah you know to like be able to like sit down and record something and it sounds good well you know it can be it can be really stressful it's a blessing and a curse uh did you put that on the B side because that's what I wanted to play so yeah the B side yeah so this is a collab you said

and all of the... Like, some of the stuff they have, like the cases, are just kind of very subtly different from what you can get over here and it's really cool. I'm thinking about ordering them. Like, they have the double cases

like on this posh isolation tape where it's don't bring that back oh you don't want to talk about that sorry i didn't mean to too soon i didn't mean to bring it up you're a fan of the of the poly cases you see how like that little difference is like it makes it like the distraction is so much you know what i mean you're distracted by those little spikes in there but i can't stop staring at them yeah they're like it's like it's like it's looking you in the eyes isn't it like why do you even need those there anyway it's not going anywhere like there was a time when those would fly everywhere like i just want to clarify i'm not i feel like i'm not a huge fan of holly case i just bought a big box of them because they were super, super cheap.

I got something here I want to play this has been sitting there i think i brought this in on like the first night of doing this podcast and it's been sitting here every time it's like i'm gonna play something from this this is a uh a double cassette box set it comes in one of those vinyl cases on uh breath mint records it's called fall from the Sky and Sink into the Fucking Ocean. Breath Mint, number 216. It's Newton, who is mad, who does the label. Sweet Nothing, which is, I think that's Jared. This dude, Jared, from Louisville, Philadelphia. 2673, which is Kevin Winter's project from New Jersey.

And then Sanguine Vessel and 2673, which is Kevin Winter's project from New Jersey. And then Sanguine Vessel and 2673, which is all three of those dudes together. And I'm going to play the 2673 track. I think it's a 2673 track. Nothing's really labeled here. And, you know, I just grabbed this one tape and rewound it. That's awesome. He killed it at the last Funnel Friday. Yeah, he just played Delaware not long ago, and it was pretty sick.

But he's been putting out stuff for a while, and it's consistently good. Yeah, for a good seven or eight years, right? Because he had a split with Cherry Point. Yeah, I think he did a tour with Cherry Point, I don't know, 2001 or something like that. Oh, that long ago. Okay. I just said that. Okay.

It could have been another year as well. It could have been any year. It could have been 2001 or some other year. But I assume this is the 2673 track. Everything else, though, is like- Crisp and nice. Yeah, very crisp, very rich but yeah smoke amory dpi is taking down a few notches on that one yeah this apparently came out in 2003 originally on um this guy this guy's uh projects imprint daniel apolito i think his name is he had a uh imprint called uh camisha drive and then he did a re-release of it that was exclusive for aquarius is that who does this project that's who does the project emory yeah i like on the inside of the j card and it's aquarius records what's that like aquarius Records. Aquarius Records, yeah.

This dude did a second pressing of the CD-R version of this. Oh, okay. Exclusively for Aquarius. And then Holodeck picked it up for the cassette release. I like on the inside, it's like a bunch of tree branches type looking thing. And on the outside. It's got all these pictures on it. It looks really good.
