So it looks like it's Tov Doug Gunther Natty. Tov, lead us off. Let's talk about birthdays. Hello, it's me, Blaine. And, yhoo, it's me 12. Oh, good. even though I'm not German, I play a male Thomatech barbarian, level eight, and, oh, my birthday. The day of my production when I was fresh off of the assembly line, a day very fond of mine.

I remember it crystal clear because it's still left in my hard drives and processor. Yes. Is your birthday the day that you are fully assembled or turned on? Oh, good question. They were the same day. Oh, okay. For me, yeah. They had the down for a science.

Not that I remember too much of that now that I think of it. I'm trying to remember what, canonically, I'm putting yourself in a corner there. Yeah, I don't want to back this up. I thought canonically you don't know your orange. You're right. Okay. Taking that back.

You hoot me told. Guten talk. I'm not German. Take it back now. So I happen to know the date of my assembly because it's scrolled in some ancient text here. on my arm. It's on your foot.

Next to Made in China. Yeah, yes. And it says, so I know how old I am and all of those things, um, you know, roughly. And for my birthday,

I go through and I do a self-care routine. So I go through and do all of my maintenance. I lubricate my joints. I clean out all of the hair and gunk in my internal fan in heating and cooling systems, you know, with some compressed air. treat myself to a little bit of that. And, you know, if I have any, like, you know, upgrades, you know,

perhaps like sticks of RAM or anything like that laying around, I'll put those in. But they're harder to come by now. It's just told with a bag of, like, chips, it's just ram in there. He's just munching on them. So delicious. Topping off the tank. Okay. Yeah.

Nothing really special about it. No emotional impact. Refilling your windshield wiper fluid. Oh, my fluids. Yes. I need to refill my fluids. That's very important. Thank you.

and I am a bugbear artificeer. Great combo for anyone who wants to try playing that. Thank you for the commentary. Absolutely. Okay, next season, yes, yes. And, you know, my birthday is a weird time because I used to celebrate it with my brother, Phil. and every single birthday he used to take me on a nice long walk and we would get my favorite lemon meringue pie.

But unfortunately the shop that sells that is now closed down. So I usually just take myself on a long walk and think about Phil and think about a lemon meringue pie. And, you know, it's not the same. I try to find a lemon sometimes, you know, the taste is similar, but not quite the same as a pie or dessert in general. but, you know, hopefully someday I'll find that again. You have no lemon.

When life takes away your lemon rag pie, you make lemon. Yeah, you could say that, I guess. You could say lots of things. You could say whatever you said implied. Yeah, I didn't know how Chris was going to land that. And I don't think Chris did either. When life give you lemons. Yeah.

It's just like, he just went towards that ramp and didn't know what trick or landing he was going to do. I applaud that. That's improv. That's the spirit of improv right there. Like you start it and you're going to find it one way or another. 100%. Okay, lemon meringue, that's an interesting one, Doug. What was your, I don't know, what was it that you liked about it?

Is it like the tanginess and the sweetness? It's just something that my brother got me for, you know, one of the first birthdays I could remember. And I love the taste of it. And now I just associate it with my birthday. And I unfortunately also associate my brother with my birthday. So that's been a little tough. Is it tougher not to have my brother than it is not to have lemon meringue? pie, I would say.

Of course. Yeah. Okay. That's good. Got a little bit of a dog lore there. Thank you. John went through a phase when he was younger where lemon meringue was my favorite for a while. I went through a bit of a meringue phase. Yeah.

It's good. Keelan pie too. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I just remember the ones that came out of the vending machine, you know, like 50 grams of trans fat. In prison? What? The vending machine ones. You know, like the, they're like disgusting, you know?

I don't know. I would imagine a lemon meringue pie out of a vending machine would be kind of gross. I feel like you guys didn't spend enough time as kids on bikes running to convenience stores for little snacks throughout the day. Why would you buy stuff from a vending machine at a convenience store? Well, just like, you know, I'm just talking general junk food, like processed lemon meringue pie, you know? I'm just trying to. I mean, I would spend a lot of time on a bike, but not in prison, like Johnson. Okay, okay, we're so in the weeds here.

I'm the Gunther, the male croak fighter. And for my birthday when I was UC in my village, there are many of us. And we all have birthday at the same time because we all came from that food eggs. And so what we do is we do this great. We go on a great swim together. All of the brothers and sisters, we take a swim together. And then afterwards, after celebrating with siblings, then I celebrate with my family.

We play this where we put a fly in a room and blindfold us. And then you have to try and find it with your dog. It is a great fun. God. I love the delivery on that. What do you call that? Oh, that's called fly fishing. Fly fishing, okay.

It would be something different for us, but yeah, cool. Okay, yeah. But then since I've not been with family, it has not been as fun. So what I do instead, I dig a hole, and I go with it, and I wait for the day to end. Wow. That sounds like me. It's just your wife helping you with a hole. just covering me with the dirt

Does she give you your Lemon meringue pie before or after you got in the hole? Well, she, I do not Do not have the lemon meringue pies Shut us me unless Maybe perhaps we could make some pie Yes, that can maybe that's like the next arc Is making a pie.

Hello, everybody. It's John Reisinger, and I play... Hi, John. Hi, Gus. How you doing? Good. You know, just lots of recording today. You're doing your live stream, getting lots of stuff done.

How are you doing? I'm doing pretty good. I'm doing pretty good. I've got to work out this morning. I feel good. Late day. Nice. Yeah, I play Natie Wonder,

who is a drought warlock drag queen mother of the bringer of the apocalypse. And once again, Natty might be the one that doesn't bring the party down a little bit and has happy memories of their family in past. What are you talking about? I have many happy memories. I have the best of memories. I didn't think about this until like Doug started talking. I was like,

oh yeah, every time we talk about family in our past, it gets pretty down. Pretty common occurrence on Stinky Dragon. Yeah, what's funny is, you know, recently C Squad season two came out.

It was the same thing. All the arrows there were sad family ones, I felt like. A lot of sad family times. I have self-care going on. Yeah, yeah. I'm having a great birthday, everybody. I have self-care, too. It's where I care to be in a hole.

Well, birthdays are special with my family. And since my mama's, they are the high priestesses of my village, they actually are a big part my birthday in particular, they're a part of everyone's birthday actually in our village, but their mama's in the priestesses. And so it's actually a whole day that we spend in our temple, where our temple that is dedicated to death. And it's a whole day where we kind of like, we bring offerings to the temple and we do dances and face painting. And it's just kind of a whole thing that we kind of celebrate that there is a point where we came into this world and we celebrate there's going to be a point where we'll leave this world.

And it's a celebration from front to back is what it is. And it's a whole day thing. It starts when the sun comes up and it goes all the way until the night comes in. Nice. All the way till the night comes in. If it takes the entire day from everyone, is that not like every day, a birthday all the time? Yeah.

I mean, it's kind of like it happens a lot, you know. And I think it might be with like my birthday, with my mommas, they make it a bigger deal. And I think that might just be a little bit what it is. You're special. Yeah. I've always said that. That is nice.

Do you press that screwdriver? This one, Tov? This one? No, no, no, no. Flathead. That's... Okay. It's Phillips.

Is it this one? Is this the flathead one? Smaller, smaller one, the one next to that one. Is it this one with like the holes... Hold your light still, for the love of God. Giggy, giggy. Blaine channeling every father trying to do a project with their kid. Oh my gosh.

Whenever I have to tell you, you just triggered a memory, guys. Opening up, does everybody else have a way that they load the dishwasher? Yeah. Yeah. Like in terms of like strategy. Yeah. If you have children, they will never load it the way that you expect it to be loaded. And you will always open your dishwasher and you will go, who did this?

At least they're loading their own dishes. It is good. I agree, Chris. That is a silver lining. But it bothers me to no end where I'm like, why is this bowl here? The bowl should be here. Yeah.

Make sure the cup doesn't flip over. Yeah. Yeah. So then one right after the other, almost perfectly synced up with the sounds of the two crates hitting the ground in the distance. With a mighty bang, bang,

hit the wedge that's been driven into the crack in the tungsten. And with that, you see, The fissure open up and run along the length of the statue, cleaving it in two, and it falls apart in two giant pieces. Freeing what appears to be a dragon. Emerging from the ruins of the statue, you see a dragon with cracked black scales. The cracks between the scales glow a dull red. And as you're looking at it, the bright orange flames become brighter and brighter until they burst out into actual, like roaring flames, shooting out.

these cracks on the dragon. With a let's out a loud roar, looks around and begins breathing fire, melting all of the keep around it. You see the walls falling down, and people running around, Uungdarians running around screaming, some on fire, some not,

and the entire place just seems to erupt into chaos. You broke open that dragon-shaped furnace and a dragon popped out from it. What happens if we break open this dragon? There's a smaller dragon. You dare trap the fire eater in the ice cap keep I will raise this stronghold to slush And my abductors

To ashes Could you just lower your voice This is supposed to be a stealth mission Who are trying to save you I understand the frustration But if you could just bring it down a bit Or just you know Go for it because you want to burn

and kill all these people who, you know, got you, kept you captive. That's all these Endarians in here, actually. Not us. Natty's putting up hard rock horns. It's like, yeah, burn it. This is the point of the stealth mission of the video game where you've been discovered, and it's time to unload. Well, that case, we'll play your theme song.

I'm the fire starter. Wicked fire starter. Bow. Your head is bobbing back and forth is so good. Is that a real song? Yeah, prodigy. It's the one where that's the guy he's like wearing the American shirt and he's like running through sewers. What? Wow.

It's like from 98 or 99. 98? Somewhere around there. Prodigy. Oh, okay. Who is that? That's... Prodigy.

Prodigy. I said it like five times. He did. He did. I don't just listen to Gus anymore. A jet stream of scorching flames surges across the keep turning walls to water and steam. Umbarians scatter like mice in a kitchen, many falling into the rising floods of water. Hereby you see the frostbiter furiously take flight with owlish wings, his polar bear ma a gap

with icicle teeth aiming straight for the fire eater's neck. At the same moment across the keep, you spot Infernes rear her bloodshot head from an ash heap of Undarians. Her scowls zeroes in on the four of you and she unsheathes the sword that matches the deep blackness of her eyes. You know it as the blade of nether flames. She unfurls vast leathery wings and flaps straight toward you. A quick question here.

Are we able to tell, like, who's fighting against who in this situation? I'm on the team of the dragon. That's my team right there. Yeah. From what you can tell, the fire eater is attacking everyone and everything. The frostbiter is taking flight, aiming for the fire eater. And Infernes has unsheathed her sword and is heading in your direction slash the fire eater as well. Because you all were right by the fire eater since you let.

We were. We were. You freed the fire either. Okay, hey, I want to try a new ability. And it don't take any time because I've already done it. If you spend, it's know your enemy. If you spend at least one minute observing or interacting with another creature outside of combat, you can learn information about its capabilities compared to your own.

Strength score, dexterity score, constitution score, armor class, current HP, total class levels. How could we've interacted with Infernes seven studying for? a while. How much stronger is she than us? Lots. I think as that ability is written, you have to like focus right now and spend a minute, but I'm going to, I'll look at, I'll dig into that in a second. Before I get to that, I should read, a couple sentences here I should read. B-Team has mere seconds before either of these eventualities take place. One, the fire eater is bitten by the frostbiter or two, infernice reaches the party to attack them. Go in any order you wish, do whatever you want, but you all must act quickly.

The ice cap keep is melting, water's rising, and you still don't know the whereabouts at the veil die. And Gwen Stacy is falling off a bridge, and we have to figure out which way to go first. We need to find option three, the one that Micah didn't think of. You mean the option we always pick? Yeah. That's a very good point. Chris, I'm going to say, yeah, I applaud.

I think the way that this is written. you're supposed to like spend a minute focusing at the moment, but you're right. You all have spent a lot of time. You all are in the military. Infernes is the big bad for you all. So I'll say that you would have time observing, interacting with this creature outside of combat.

So you can learn about her abilities compared to your own. What does the Pocodex say? Infernes, fire type. Actually, you say that, and I was going to confess that I have from the beginning of this campaign gotten Infernes mixed up with an actual Pokemon called Eternitus, which is a giant, scary Pokemon.

And so every time you've said Infernes, Aternitus has come up in my head. Okay, so you want to know the Infernes' stats scores? Yeah, or at least total, I guess the broad, total class levels. Like, what level is she relative to us? You would guess if you had to assign a level to her, she would be like, I don't know, level 20? I think this is a fight we shall not have.

I think if anything, guys, we should maybe protect a fire eater. Because, you know, we saved her, so she might be on our side. And I don't know if the frost spider biting her is going to be good. Yes, let's go. I agree. And with that, Natty flies up in the sky. You just ran away? You're leaving us?

Towards the objective, Tov. That's who we're supposed to be saving right there, the one flying in the sky. She loved us. Frostbiter fire eater. Where are they relative to us again? So the fire eater is right next to you on the ground, you know, spewing out fire and destruction all around. The frostbiter took flight and is in the air.

I believe the frostbiter was about 60 feet away and is now in the air kind of flying at an angle up towards the neck of the fire eater. Natty is flying up towards like the cross point of frost and, uh, sorry, crossfire's theme song just came into my head right now. Cross fire. Yeah. I was like trying to turn it off my head while I talked and it wasn't working. So are you going to Mr. President?

But I'm going up that direction. Huh? Yeah. Are you like Mr. Presidenting? Like, oh. I'm joining the fight. Okay. So you're positioning yourself.

I don't think I'm going to stop Natty's little like drow body is going to stop the frostbiter. So I'm not built that way, but you know, thank you for the vote. to confidence. Essentially, you're positioning yourself kind of by the fire eater's neck to guard it from the frost spider. Yeah, I can shoot some stuff. All right, and then so Gunther did an analysis.

Toll and Doug, what do you guys want to do? Do we get the idea that we're going to be running or fighting? I know that like you're hopping in to help out, but I don't know if that's like as a means of getting the frost spider away because I know that... Frost spider. Because I'm... You could ask Natty.

Oh, Natty, boy. you're flying up there. Are you going to like engage the enemy? Well, I figure it accomplishes two things. It gets me further away from that thing with the giant sword. And closer to the God that we're here to hell. Okay. Uh, Toll's going to rage.

He's doing it. He's starting to breathe. He's becoming mighty. Okay. And anything else? Is there, what is your thought process, you're positioning with this rage? In the event that we get hit by something,

which I feel like I'm going to get hit with some strays, I just want to be protected, but also if we're going to try to, hopefully what can happen is we take the side of the good lord these names, the fire eater. And they will distract, it'll be fire on fire, fighting fire with fire. So they'll be going after, oh, what you might call it? Infernes. In furnace. And then maybe we then team up on Frostbiter because I don't know if there is as strong as Infernes. So just FYI, Infernes appears to be flying directly at you all, at BT.

That's why Natty yell, they're getting further away from that thing. Yeah, heck it. I think I might just throw a javelin at the... At Infernes to just slow them. I don't know. I mean, they're already propped, they're mad, anything at this point to just, like, slow their speed. So I'm going to throw a javelin. All right, yeah, go for it.

Make your attack roll. Okay. 13? 13. Do you let your javelin fly? and with a slash of her blade of nether flames in furnace just cleans it in two as it's flying towards her. Great. I throw another. I throw another. All right. Toss it.

No, maybe I'll turn it. I'll throw it at the frost spider. I don't know. I'm just like, I'm scared. I'm throwing things. Who you want to throw it at? I'm going to pivot and I'll just go, okay, great. No, did it? Then I'm going to throw it to the frost spider now. Okay. Make your attack girl. 12. You turn and pivot and toss your javelin at the frostbiter. However, it flies behind the frostbiter. I guess the frostbiter is flying a little faster than you're expected.

So it's unable to connect. Okay. And then I'm going to do that thing that you would do in gym class after you mess something up and you just kind of like, you like crank your shoulder. You're like, what is that? It seems strange. Weird.

to all damage. Also, each time it takes damage, you take the same amount of damage. Don't worry, no damage will be taken. I was wondering where the downside is. There it was. Listen, Tov, you know, I think if I have faith in you, you'll have faith in you. And so I'm just kind of like, you know, don't get into trouble. I would have test something out. I want to see how bonded we are.

I slam my toe against sticking nearby furniture and stuff. Micah, I'm going to need you to take that sound clip of Blaine saying no damage will come to you. And I want you to replay it with an echo the next time Doug takes damage because I'm told. taking damage. Tov is down. Okay. So that's a, that's very selflessly you, Doug. So yes, basically,

Tov, when you're within 60 feet of me, you have plus one to your AC and saving throws, and you're resistant to all damage. But Doug, you will not live to regret this. You will not live to regret this. I'm scared. Okay, so everyone essentially did something. Gunther, I feel like everyone else

maybe had a little more. Is there anything else you want to do? Because you're thinking back on it, I feel like maybe I shorted you a little bit. Because you had said like this was kind of a thing you'd already done in the past. Got him. Thank you. Can I, how high up is the fire eater? The fire eater is rather large. Like are you trying to gauge, like if you wanted to jump?

I was going to see if I could jump up. Like onto the fire eater's head? Under the neck where to like. Oh, onto the neck. What is your jump? Like 25. Yeah, sure. Let's say you can do it.

So you jump up and grab on to the fire address neck? And like grab hold and then like in a defensive manner to like block the attack from the other one, the flying one, the fire fighter. The frost fighter. Do you want to write these down? Frostbiter. I love them all written. I'm just there like, he just forgot how to read. The lie detector determined that was a lie.

No, no. I have that list that Mike had made all pulled up. But I have to like, I'm looking for them. So I'm like, which one is it? It's just like in terms of who we're fighting. I just made bring him down. Okay. You jump up and, you know, grab onto the fire eater's neck and take up a defensive position, Gunther.

Why don't you make me a dexterity saving throw? Okay. 17. Yeah, you grab on and I assume, you know, unsheatier, rapier, and take a defensive posture. When the neck you're holding onto begins to burn with the heat of a thousand suns. and you very quickly become engulfed in flames. Saw that coming a mile away. He saw a fire dragon god and was like,

I should ride it. Hip, hip, hip, hop. Oh, and you take 23 points of fire damage. Okay, cool. I am happy I did not put my warding bond on you. I was thinking about it. Can I talk to, well, I jump up, do not worry, fire eater, I shall protect you.

Then we have frog legs available as an appetive. Seared frog legs. You also are under what we would call the burning condition, Gunther. So you're going to take a little bit of fire damage at the start of your turn. And you can, during your turn, you can take an action. to extinguish the fire on yourself by taking the prone condition and rolling on the ground. Basically, you stop, drop and roll.

Or you could jump in a river, or you could do something else too. You are burning. That's the important part. That's the takeaway here. That's the cliff notes. Okay, I'm on fire. Oh, and you fell 25 feet.

Oh my God. I like that Gus was like, you know what, Chris? I didn't give you enough. What do you want to do, bud? And then now he's walking away dead. Oh, wait, I have a question. And you take seven points of falling down.

And so I want to see if there's anything else that might be kind of covered up. Yeah, you don't find a clock per se. However, at the very northern end of the room, kind of in the center,

You go up to three. And similar to the first, square, you begin getting younger pretty quickly. I'm going to hop over to the 16 as well. Yeah, I guess we'll go to 16. We'll go to the 16. For reference, we're filming this on the 16th. Everybody at home.

And then I get response. There's wheel, woe, wheel and woe, and nothing. Okay? Mm-hmm.

Please. So, Natty's standing here with her friends. She's hugging everybody. She's got her hands around all of them. And she just kind of starts centering herself and reaching out to this otherworldly entity, whoever it is that is the, it might be silent steed. Yeah, who are you reaching out to? I think it's silent steed.

Okay. Okay. So then I go, how would I ask this kind of like, I receive an omen from an other world by the results of a specific course of action? Okay. How about she asks her friends? How should I? phrase, how should I ask what kind of action we're going to take?

Because I'm going to get like a yes or no or maybe so. Oh, you're asking us? Yeah, that's Natty's talk. Why did they pick 12 birds? I mean, can you ask for clarifying? That was just fair enough. Maybe just like, are we thinking about this in the right way? Are we like on the right track?

Oh, sure, like a hot and cold. Yeah. Yes, Natty just thinks that like, are we heading in the right direction? or are we so far off, we should just go home? So it's about the results of a specific course of action. So you're asking if you should give up and go home? No. Okay, help, help.

Maybe ask if the answer lies at the end of the calendar. Okay, then my course of action, if I were to go from here and take a trip to the blizzard, is that going to be in the direction of solving this puzzle? We'll. That's good results. Okay. What if we just all walk the 30 days? Oh, man. Okay. Together?

Sure. Doug? Why don't you like that? Well, I just, you know, I don't like the idea of getting old. You know, my beard's going to get all gray. You're going to look so good. You can be like a silver fox, but it's a bear. Like a silver bear. Silver bear.

My back's going to give out. You know, I get more grisly as I go. A silver back. A different animal, that's okay. Oh. Yeah. We walk the 30 days? Yeah.

You walk the 30 days, and when you get to the 30th day, again, you know, in context of the whole walk, you know, when you get to the first square, you feel like you're very rapidly getting younger. Then as you go through, by the time you get to the end, you feel like you're very rapidly getting older. And when you reach the last square, I want everyone to make me an investigation check. 11. 13. 5. Nat 20. So the 20 and the 13, I think, are sufficient.

When you get to that final square, those of you who got those rolls, notice that the corner of this square curls up a little bit, almost like a dog-eared page. Could Doug go and lift it up? Yeah. You lift it up and the entirety of the floor begins lifting. And you lift the whole thing. and as you begin lifting it, it detaches from the northern wall and disappears.

And the entire grid vanishes. Oh, you turn the calendar. Yeah. The calendar page slowly turns over. Grass, snow, and all they're in begin to build up into an avalanche of, a dark pass once again stands before you. For miles, it seems. You wander to and fro, looping this and that, looping back onto yourselves.

Could we turn a page again? I don't like this one. I like the way that Barb's thinking. There's nothingness before you. There is no page. There is nothing. So it's like a new space we're in. Well, yeah.

As they say, into the unknown. Did you want to say something like? Did we win that? Did we, are we doing it? Jesus Christ. What? I'm curious. I don't know.

I think we're past it. I think we're on to the next, whatever comes next year. Okay. It seems. Lead the way, leader. Okay. Can you guys hold my hand a little bit?

Where have you been lost before? Yeah. Natty, how about, yeah, Natty got lost in the night market once when she was a young drow. And it was one of those instances where like she lost side of her mom. The night market is so full of other folk as well that she got scared and ended up like hiding like underneath the table of one of the booths. Okay, and the night market where, like where you grew up? Yeah, yeah, the night market near, uh, near, uh, around my, the, the, the cave and forest that I grew up in.

Okay. Doug. What would thy 11th commandment be? Thou shall be curious. Ooh. Good one. I'm ready to get down. That's good.

It's good. Disregard the other ten. Toll. What did Sveed desire to be once the half grown up? I think like a vending machine would have been nice, you know? Instead of dispensing death, dispensing delicious beverages and maybe candy bars, you know? I don't know. I still want my sentience, though, but it'd be cool just like getting a couple quarters.

Here's your Coca-Cola. Oh, you could do a fish vending machine. Fish vending machine? I dispense fish? Yeah, you make fish. No, that's so sad, because then the fish are trapped inside of me. That's so sad. You cook fish, do you not?

Oh, I see what you're saying, like a food vending machine. Yeah, it'd smell like butt, though. Anyways, Coca-Cola machine, lock it in, Regis. Coco, okay, got it. And Gunther. What would be a vile habit? A vile habit is, oh, yes, it is quite clear. It is when you, it you dump your weight.

waste and trash into the water where people are, the children are swimming. It's just a vial thing. You should keep the water clean. Mm-hmm. As you all are thinking about the answers to these questions in your head, the scenery around you changes. But once was an empty room transforms and becomes a bustling night market. Go! The floor, however, does remain blank and white.

And in the night market, you see a giant drink vending machine that is smashing its way towards you, dumping trash into all the fresh water that lies around. And the rule of law for this arena is thou shall be curious. And it's curious. Oh, no, it's asking questions. I think that's a good thing. Oh, we're an arena.
