Hello and welcome to Talking Baseball, the all-JM team, the one before the one.
Penultimate?
Other words like that coming up.
Ellie Holmes.
White Langford.
Too soon.
Congrats to the kid.
Ah!
Hello and welcome to Talking Baseball, present you by Seeky, Code Talking 10.
Jake Story, Ellie, Trevor Plouf.
John Boy, with the official judge's text.
We need it.
Our Olympic judge.
BPD on the one, twos, and threes.
September 4th, Trev.
We'll see.
I mean, this is people leading up to potentially the Silver Daisy, the whole year,
being the best at your position.
Or this can be a brutal one.
Like, wait.
Up until September?
They were the best player in their league at their position,
and then they got snaked in the last month.
We will find out today who's in line for it all.
Trevor Plouf, how are you?
What's up, guys?
You know I'm excited of the Yuxan ball.
I almost did a Hoc2 on this baseball
because it's feeling a little slippery, so I get it.
By the way, Hock Tuo Girl has a new podcast.
I'm not going to show that.
It's called Talk Tuo, which is just like A plus.
There are some good discussions.
A plus?
It's pretty good, dude.
It's not bad. It's not bad. A plus, I'd like to be a little tighter with those.
Okay, that's fine. I got to say that for something else.
Good discussions coming. I also, I think we might be in for like a record number of
Silver Daisies this year. Am I off?
I might tank that. I don't know.
I think we're currently pacing for it.
We have one, two, three, like four guys up for it, I believe right now?
Well, it feels like...
It feels like a year of extremes.
It feels like we've got...
Oh, I think we have more than that, by the way.
We've got a handful of guys.
The fan vote helps.
We added the fan vote.
We added a position.
We've just got a handful of guys that are having outrageous seasons.
You know, I mean, in Gunner all year at shortstop.
Soto and Judge in the outfield.
And then there's a lot of other positions that it's just like the National League
Outfield has been an absolute disaster this year.
And I think that would have been one of the positions coming into the year.
I mean, Ronald Cooney and you, you know, you can put together the guys pretty quickly.
And the crew out there, I mean, there might be two rookies at the end of this.
So.
I think I kind of want to start with that.
Let's mention who is still in contention for a silver daisy.
And I had the number wrong.
I think it's even more.
So right now, Sal Perez has won every single month.
Yep.
Gunner Henderson, because of the fan vote, has won every single month.
Bobby Witt, Jr., because of the fan vote in April, has won every single month.
Juan Soto has won every single month.
Aaron Judge has not because of his poor April.
has not.
June, he did not.
Didn't win the fan vote in June.
He was out.
Bobby, what is you doing, baby?
What happened in June?
That's how it goes.
Stephen Kwan show.
Oh, boy.
And Stephen Kwan is just falling off a cliff.
William Contreras has done it.
Yeah.
Ketel Marte has done it.
Yeah.
I don't think Ellie has done it.
Shohay's done it.
Jerks and Profar has done it.
So that's, I mean, that's six guys right there.
Let's get into it, Trev, because always on these episodes, we try to keep it tight,
and then there's just so much good ball to be talked.
We're yucking.
These guys are the stars of the game.
It's as bright as it gets.
And that's why you need your shady rays on, Trev.
I just had a great day the other day because I got the Jake Shades back, baby.
I've been rocking the Joms for a while.
Blitzball's coming.
I need to tap into me, you know?
That's who I am.
And I've noticed these Shady Rays have a hint of green to them,
and I've been wearing more clothing with hints of green in them
because it just, it pops.
It pops, pops.
Shady Rays, they are the best premium polarized shades in the game
that will not break the bank.
And with Code Talking, you get 50% off 2 plus
pairs of polarized sunglasses that applies to the Jimmy and Jake collab shades go get yours now shady
shady rays.com code talking 50% off two or more pairs of polarized sunbows go check them out
I love my shady raise listen we love you we've been dealing with you guys for a long time love the
jimmy and jake collab but like let's be real here like if I don't have a collab next year oh okay
I'm kind of out I'll just I'll just go like this I uh
Make that happen.
Couple things.
Whenever someone comes up, whether we're at event,
like Fanatics Fest or something like that,
someone comes up with the Jake Shades on,
it's like, whoa, okay, you're, I am yours, you are mine.
Like, we're like Game of Thrones married.
And following up on that,
I did have someone who was a long time talking Yanks fan
asked me to officiate their wedding next April,
and I haven't decided yet.
I'm leaning no, but I don't, I got to process it.
Speaking of process it, Trev, this one has become controversial,
the American League catcher.
Because you're right, our guy Big Sally, he got off to a hot start,
the Royals, you know, killing it all year.
And then it's become a mess, and we've kind of leaned into our default.
You got to be knocked off to be dethroned.
And now I'm starting to fade the fate on that.
Where to earn the Silver Daisy, it's supposed to be one of the premier things in all of sport,
that I'm not sure if our guy Big Sally has done enough to hold on.
Yiner Diaz has been hard charting from Houston.
Cal Raleigh, the people called us out.
They said, get that dumper in there.
King Adley, who had some kind of tough, it's been a weird year for him.
And then Austin Wells from the top rope,
for your New York Yankees, Trev.
So what are the tea leaves showing you right now?
I think what you hit on at the beginning
is kind of still where I'm at.
Like, has Cal Raleigh really done enough
to knock Sal Perez off?
Call me old school.
Right.
But a 205BA is not something that I want
on the all-JM team.
Now, I understand there's some power numbers there.
he does have the F war and the B war on Sal.
A lot of that comes from his framing metrics,
which it's probably the defensive metric
that I don't trust the most.
Does that impact the game?
Yeah, like maybe more than any other metric,
but I also think it's so subjective to
what your pitching staff does.
I mean, he's got a bunch of dudes that just dot the ball up,
and he also depends on, you know,
the umpire that certain day so like i just i can't really get behind framing metrics which is where
i mean he's one of the best in the game at that so i don't know if i just contradicted myself
saying that it does impact the game a lot it's extremely but at the same time i don't believe in it
because there's a lot of like variables that can differ with it i talk about this all the time because
i talked to catchers you know they'll say go look at jonathan lucroy when he won the gold glove i don't
if you want to go glow, but he had a really good defensively metric season. And it was because
he had a bunch of guys, you know, just putting the ball exactly where they wanted it to.
I don't know if Sal Perez really has that. I don't know what the difference is. But again,
I think if I'm looking at these statistics and we're going overall throughout the year, I just
don't know if Cal Raleigh has done enough to knock Sal off a Silver Daisy train. Sal, I'll give my
Sal points and then maybe we can talk if Cal has done enough.
Sal has been one of the best hitters with runners in scoring position all year long.
I think that is, I mean, that speaks volumes.
And he's got his Royals team in the playoff picture.
Cal Raleigh does not.
I'm very curious, though, if the Royals can keep it up without Vinny.
That's a big loss for them.
But again, I'm looking at this page, 25 homers for Sal, 27 for Cal Raleigh.
55 runs scored for Sal 57 for Cal Raleigh
94 runs driven in
for Sal 80 for Cal
the hits are there for Sal Perez
the doubles are there for Sal Perez
almost doubled in round of doubles
the set
okay I was reading that wrong
I saw hit by pitches I thought that was stolen bases
it's close
but I don't know if it's enough Jake
it's not
It's not. I mean, Cal, Cal Raleigh, who's electric defensively, and I do think on a whole defensively, you take them over Big Sally at this point. But they're like 205-297 on base. That's, you know, that's tough.
Sal has been slug by a ton. The OPS is 712 to 816. So most of the value now is coming from defensive metrics.
Yeah, I, hey man, I, I have.
some Seattle thoughts that have leaked out during the year.
I think that place is tougher to hit in than we think.
And unfortunately for this exercise, it doesn't super matter
because Sal Perez has an OPS 100 points higher.
And yeah, the extra base hits.
He has him there.
He has him in RBI.
Like the strikeouts thing, I know there's some horrible Seattle irony there
because that's what they were trying to work out.
It's Sal over Cal for me.
And then, yeah, I mean, Adley has been a step behind.
Yiner has been a step behind this year.
And hey, Austin Wells with, if he finishes strong,
he is going to enter the conversation
because he does have the highest F-4 right now,
better than Raleigh, better than Sal.
but I mean
it's a whole year
or at least it's up until
September 1st this year
and I think
no one has a better case than Salvador Perez
yeah I think this is going to be
one of the more difficult decisions
that we have to make
but I think we are
kind of on the same page
shout out Yiner
he's been going off for the Astros
as of late
I haven't seen a ton
I mean you guys watch Austin Wells
a lot
I'm happy for you guys
It seems like he's going to be a long-term fit there.
Season's been great.
It's not enough.
And that's not necessarily his fault that he wasn't out there earlier.
So it's tough to judge him on that,
but that's how things go on the all-JM team.
So I'm casting my ballot for Sal.
It's Sal's his quest for a Silver Daisy.
It's Sal's.
And, yeah, I'm excited for him.
Again, we talk, you know, Silver Davies are supposed to be monument guys.
And Sal is a living one.
So, yeah, Austin Wells has been great, but it's a full season, but it is a lot of the boxes I like.
You know, Austin Wells, it's cleanup behind Soto and Judge.
And, hey, that's big Salvy's in the middle of that lineup, too.
A lot of these guys are, but Sal holds on.
Let's see how the big man finishes.
Let's see how the Royals finish.
My God.
Tough, tough start.
I don't want to say anything because they're playing.
my twins in the next series.
But I really believe that they have a chance
to not make the playoffs because they lost Vinny.
I think he's that important to the team.
Massive, massive part to the top of the lineup.
And vibes, bro.
And that brings us to AL First Base,
where Vinnie Pasquantino is listed
as kind of one of our top four
American League First Baseman.
And catchers, hey, Logan O'Hoppy,
deserve a shout-out.
Connor Wong, we've seen this year,
your guy Jeffers, but it's Big Sally.
At first base, it started off as Josh Naylor's year.
Remember, they got rid of those seats in Cleveland?
Big Josh was pissing on balls.
He's back to it.
Back to it.
I said that kind of weird, huh?
Carlos Santana's been lurking all year, which he's just your guy.
Unfortunately, the fight is almost over, Trev.
Because Vladito, it was more of a story around the trade deadline
because he started bawling out and people were wondering what Toronto was going to do.
Vlad's 167 WRC plus second place is Naylor at 119.
He's back to being, he's an argument for one of the best first baseman in baseball again.
100% and I called him out earlier in the season
we've talked about this on this show before
I said hey what are you going to be are you going to be the superstar that we saw in
2021 you're going to be the guy with a you know high sevens low eights OPS
because they're completely two completely different things
I know the peripheral numbers were still pretty good on him in those years
hitting the ball hard which is what you want
but he's put it all together again this year really really
answered everything that he needed to answer
and the fact Jake
the fact that he's going to be a free agent
at like 26 years old
with a couple really good platform years
I'm very curious to see
how much this guy makes
and what he is going to have in his basement
because he grew up with a nice basement
he grew up with a nice basement
he grew up thinking about a basement he knows
basements I think he just assumes
basements have like really nice
dance floors on them. He's never known a bad basement.
They've got a nice, what's that, uh, wasn't his, wasn't his grandma making him his meals to
start? His, rapes? Yes. Maybe like, maybe like a bar down there that's just a rapist all the
time. Um, congrats to Vladi Guerrero Jr. interested to see me. And that's going to be one of the
big talking points of next season. Unfortunately, for Blasie.
Lou Jays fans. That's one of the big
talking points for next season.
Let's get these other guys. Quick love.
Josh Naylor has been, I mean,
the two guys, I mean, all three of these guys,
A.L. Central guys. Josh Naylor, Vinnie
Pasquintino and Carlos Santana have been so
fundamental to their team's
success this year.
Vinny and Josh
driving in runs, you know, making
sure they're cashing in on those
opportunities. And Carlos
Santana, at age
38, I forgot that I was
teammates with this guy. Libbya kept saying, I'm talking to Brittany Santana. I'm like,
what? How is that connection happening? And she's like, dude, she was the nicest
wife to me in Philadelphia. Like we'd go over to her house and all these things. I was like,
oh my gosh, I forgot that we were teammates in Philadelphia. He is 38, same age as me. He's about to
win a gold glove at first pace. Go check the numbers out. It's wild. Could be you.
Just got reset about Vinny, 97 RBI. God.
God.
I think he was
fifth overall
batting average
runners in scoring position.
Like he was doing it, man.
Driving in Bobby Witt,
like that duo.
Uh.
Hope his jets look okay.
Congrats to Vladito.
Congrats to all those guys.
At second base, Trev.
Man, it's been a Texas two-step.
Jose Altovae,
doing it with the stick.
Marcus Simeon took it in May.
And then it's been Al Tuve, and this has been a weird one,
because if you live or die by the war,
Marcus Simeon's always going to have an argument
because he's probably the best defensive second baseman in baseball.
Unfortunately, his offensive stats this year have not been what you want for Marcus Simeon.
As of September 1st, he was a 700 flat OPS, a 98 weighted runs created plus.
Al-Tuvae has continued on at a pace.
I guess I want to go check his month by month,
but 296, 350, a 791 OPS
that he has Simian and F-war.
And then Brandon Lau has showed up on the sheet
with some similar slash-line-type numbers to Al-Tuve here.
It has been 84 games to 132,
but a reminder of who that guy is when he's right
and maybe if people want to start buying their Tampa stock for next year.
Ooh, Tampa stock is down right now.
Down right now.
You can get it on the cheap.
A lot of pitching coming.
I think this one's Altuve for me.
I do.
I love Marcus Samian.
His defensive prowess is obviously there.
I'm still so curious about all this.
Let me ask you this.
I'm on the outs above average leaderboard right here.
I'll give you
30 guesses
and you'd never guess who's number one
I don't even think this guy's in your book
home
in all of baseball
all you didn't tell you he's a center fielder
oh I feel like I was looking at this
the other day
I mean it's not my guy
Brenton Doyle
um
Brenton Doyle is not even
oh he's 17th
okay
um
not in my book
Kind of rude.
No idea.
I don't mean to be rude.
Jacob Young,
center fielder of the Nationals
were 20 outs above average.
Yeah.
He goes and gets it.
The next is Andres Jimenez.
So, as much as we give love for Simeon,
yeah.
Jimenez has been, by this statistic,
a better defensive second baseman.
So I think you got to go out too,
if you're not the best.
How do we give you the award over Altuvae
just because of your defensive prowess?
And yeah, I mean,
offensively he has been, you know,
almost 100 points higher OPS.
The stolen bases, again,
when we come down to players of this ilk,
Altuvee with 20 swipes this year,
seven caught stealing.
Marcus Simian only has four and two caught stealing.
I was surprised to see that,
that El Tuve still gets after it.
And he's just been, he's a massive part of what they do in Houston,
and they are back.
And I just don't think, you're right.
If you're going to bring Simeon into it,
you can bring in Jimenez.
Because I do think he's a slightly better fielder at this point.
His footwork is electric.
But neither of those guys are hitting.
Jimenez is a 637 OPS right now,
seven homers, 55 runs driven.
He has 25 stolen bases.
So again, yeah, you got to bring this guy into the discussion as well,
but I think Altuvae clears.
Plus, you don't want Alex Bregman mad at you.
No, never.
You don't want that.
Send him a text.
Be like, man, the boys are popping, huh?
He's got dad straight now.
I will.
Maybe we do want him mad.
That's how he reaches out.
Congrats to Jose Altuve.
Just what he needs,
something else on his mantle,
to go with whatever they get this October.
Treb, the American League shortstop has been a delight.
Gunner Henderson.
Bobby Witt.
It started with Gunner.
It went Bobby.
It went Gunner.
It went Bobby.
And now we're back.
And like we mentioned,
Gunner is eligible for the Daisy
because he did win the util,
the two months that Bobby got him.
Bobby is not.
Is this a discussion at this point?
Or Bobby's kind of...
For short stuff?
No.
Bobby's run away.
Literally.
it is not even close.
And I love, I'm like one of the biggest Gunner Henderson supporters out there.
I think he's incredible.
But Bobby, what the season he's put up is just absolutely nuts.
I mean, literally in every single part of the game, he is going absolutely crazy.
It's going to be a 30-30 guy, 27 stolen bases through September.
he's fourth in outs above average, 17,
so he's right behind,
well, he's tied with Marcus Simeon, I guess.
Above Francisco Lendor,
he's got the most for a shortstop.
I mean, what he's doing offensively,
hitting the absolute crap out of the ball.
It's Bobby Witts, not even close.
11 triples, if you're into that kind of thing,
39 doubles,
9.3 F4, 1.000.
Yeah, so, hey, Gunner's been incredible, still incredible.
Bobby kind of took it to another level.
Corey Seeger snuck back on this list,
and so is Zach Netto, your boy boy.
You know, I think those other three are in a different weight class right now.
Let's see it next year, Zach.
Congrats to Bobby Whit Jr.
And let's see, I don't know.
We're going to put the Royal.
on your back, bro.
I know he already has, but God, they need it.
It's turned into a royals up.
Let me ask you this.
Sure.
Just real quick.
Yeah.
Trey Turner has been America's short stuff.
It's over now, right?
I think it's over.
Like, thank you for your service.
I think the torch was passed perfectly.
He came.
Bobby was on that team, right?
The last WBC team, Mark DeRosef, put him on there.
Good job.
Yeah.
Got some experience.
Keeping your seat warm.
Okay.
Team USA.
That might be the only coaching job that I'd apply for.
Okay.
Let's cross that bridge when we get there.
Congrats to Bobby Wood Jr.
Gunner, I do think you're going to come up to a fan vote,
but there's going to be some other good bodies in there,
as there always are come September.
Third base.
Everyone remembers Jordan Westberg, snagging it.
And deservedly so.
And then Jose Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, and the AL battle that goes on and on,
Raphael Devers took it from him last month.
These two, if they only knew, they don't care.
They're very rich and good at baseball.
But God, the back and forth these two have had since the introduction of the All-JM team.
And speaking of, text to send, Alex Bregman.
Hello?
Remember he was struggling?
Oh, contract year?
A lot of that has gone away.
I do think
Josh Smith was hanging around for a while.
It's Devers, it's Ramirez, Trev,
I'll let you dive your teeth into this one more time.
I am trying to give Devers a shot here.
I really, yeah.
You know, I love watching the guy hit.
I think we all can agree on.
that. But this is
an award that tries
to encompass a complete
ball player.
And I think that's what Jose Ramirez
is. 34 freaking
swipes already.
I believe
he's second in all of baseball
in runs driven in with 104.
The only guy in front of him
is Aaron Judge.
33 homers. I mean, there isn't
a stat that doesn't really
favor Jose Ramirez.
He's defensively grading out well again.
You know what he does in the base pass.
It's, I don't know, man.
No, it's. It's, it's hard.
It's Ramirez.
It was Devers last month, and he, I think in July, Devers, one dotted,
and he had been incredible, and he was back to being one of the best hitters in the game,
and he still is.
Like, it, not his, uh, his August, his August, 217, 296, a 709 OPS.
That's, you know, Devers.
is out there to hit.
And he's obviously gotten better defensively,
but he's out there to hit where J-Ram went out
and just had a Jose Ramirez month again.
We're at 269, 339, and 848 OPS,
as many walks of strikeouts.
14 stolen bases in August.
In August.
What?
He's 31.
He's a third baseman.
Um, the man is a sick puppy.
I mean, Deborah's a 923 OPS. Like this guy is banging the ball.
Boston's kind of fallen out of it. Not his fault. It's been their pitching.
The bullpen's been tough for them. Starting pitching hasn't really been there. Their
offenses struggled. And I don't know if he's been a part of that. I didn't look at his
August specifically, but as of late, they've been one of the worst offenses in baseball.
He unfortunately is a part of that.
And he's going up against a guy who currently has 34 homers and 34 stolen bases.
If Sho Hay didn't exist, like, Jose Ramirez would be...
Nobody's talking about a 40-40 for Jose Ramirez.
Wow, he's going to get there.
34-34?
I mean, he's got to play it like perfectly, you know?
You need...
Well, the swipes is easy for him.
Like, he'll get the swipes.
Now it's can he hit six homers in March?
Six homers in three weeks.
Is what I mean asteris? Because those seats got taken out of the top?
Oh boy, now we're talking. No asteris here. Congrats to Jose Ramirez. The stolen bases.
What? In one month? It doesn't make sense to me.
14 stolen bases last month for Jose Ramirez.
I think show had 16.
We're going to talk about him in a minute.
congrats to J-Ram.
That rounds out your American League
infield.
And man,
those guys do the do.
You know what I'm saying?
Mm.
You know what we all need to get more of?
Getting off our ass.
Yeah.
Like go steal 14 bags in a month.
Yeah.
You know?
There's some sprints.
With bold flavors and a refreshing,
refreshing citrus kick.
Mountain Dew will get you off your ass
and have you feeling like you're on
an actual mountain.
Oh.
One of the last time you did some sprints.
I think
during COVID times, I went to the park
and did a couple wind sprints and I was like,
oh, the body doesn't like this anymore.
But it does like Mountain Dew.
A mountain where the weather is always perfect.
Your friends are ready to hang.
a day of epic proportions.
Whether you're gaming, you're outside
twirling the old pigskin around.
Maybe you're at the warehouse
hoisting the Blitzball Battle 5 trophy.
The Mountain is calling and you should answer.
Grab your friends, grab an ice cold Mountain Dew
wherever refreshing beverages are sold
and do the do.
Link in the description.
If you can't find Mountain Dew around you,
please DM BBD
and he'll send you in the right direction.
Do you imagine not being able to find Mountain Dew?
I mean, that's...
I keep telling the people, like,
start by checking anywhere.
The closest store to you.
Go get your Mountain Dew.
Treb, the American League outfield situation.
Juan Soto.
Mike Trout, Kyle Tucker, your first month.
Okay, great crop.
No Aaron Judge.
No Aaron Judge.
That was legit.
The first month.
It wasn't there.
It was Judge Soto Tucker,
Duran Judge Soto
And it's been
Duran Judge Soto
For two months
And may I say three
Um
Trev I'll kick to you
If there's something
If you want to give your Lawrence Butler
Hype train
But I think these three
Continue to roll on
Poppy, it's over
It's over
It's these guys
I mean do you want it
We can give a little
A shout out to Lawrence Butler
He just won August player of the month
But this is through August
He has two, three homer games.
He's going off.
He had another homer in September.
What is September even a real thing?
We don't know.
Not on this show.
It's not.
Riley Green has came to play.
Got his tigers back into playoff contention.
That's awesome.
Anthony Santander.
He's going to hit 40 homers this year, which is amazing.
But these other guys have been having incredible seasons.
I mean, Jaron Duran, all-around ball player defensively, stolen bases,
offensively has been getting it done all season long.
And then Juan Soto and Aaron Judge are like the only guys in baseball, one dotting it.
I mean, the 885 OPS for Duran with the 32 steals and just how he is on the bases is pretty nuts.
And then, yeah, Judge and Soto historic.
They've slowed down the past couple days a little bit,
But some of that's September, so I'm not even going to bring it up.
Yeah, these three are running it back.
For the rest of the AL outfielder, like shout out, well, you are bray you, your guy.
Ooh, I got something.
What's that?
Let's put Jaron Duran as our centerfielder.
I know him and Judge have been, or are both there, but I think because of the defense,
I think we give Jaron the centerfield mark.
If that makes you feel good, sure.
I think it means something.
Why not?
as long as they're getting them pedals.
Yeah, for the rest of the American League outfield,
get traded to the NL.
Because Riley Green, I think you might have it.
Kwan, Lbutt,
Santon there.
But unfortunately, slash fortunately,
Judge Sotom, Duran,
really no arguments to be had.
As I go through this sheet, I just start thinking
when we put the graphic out for this,
what are people going to be mad at?
Okay.
And I don't know.
I'm just...
There'll be a Devers.
Do I let that creep into my mind
for my decision making?
No, I don't.
They get a vote.
You know?
We're men of the people.
Son of a pool man.
My parents both worked for the state
of Connecticut growing up, you know?
More about me later.
The designated hitter, Trev,
I'm actually excited to hear you.
go on this one
because it's been a Brent Rooker party
after Yordaun won it
the first month. Brent Rooker,
Your Don, Brent Rooker.
And I'd tell you
if I didn't know
what Yordan was doing,
I'd say
Brent Rooker, he's continued. He's become like
our guy of the show. We want him on other teams.
Know who had a 1.2 last month?
It's Yorda.
I know this one's so close Jake
it's so freaking close because
yes
OPS goes to
our guy Yordon
barely Brent Rooker's out
slugging him Yordaum we know has the
on base skills although you know Rooker's
367 is nothing to slouch out but Yardron's got that
four yeah you know I love the four he's
three four five in it which is just something I can't ignore
the K percentage for Brent Rooker kind of works
against him. If you're looking at the
statistics, he's got Yordon stolen
bases. How about these two DHS?
Oh, oh! Oh!
Eight stolen bases, one caught
stealing for Brent. Six stolen bases,
zero caught stealing for our guy,
Yordaunt's sneaky bags. You've got
to love that. Brent Rooker's
got him in homers. He's got him in
runs driven in, which is kind of like
the thing for DHS.
Right?
Yeah.
This is tough, man.
Your gun's got him in game.
played. Your Don's played some outfields.
Brent Rooker
had a 1.288
OPS in July, which is
insane, just a reminder.
August, he had a measly
904 OPS.
I say that jokingly
because in July,
Yordon had a 972,
so Brent Rooker outballed him
by a chunk, which is really hard to
outball that guy by a chunk.
And then in August,
Yudan went 1.178.
So I have an idea for this
Shout out Ryan O'Hern
And our guy G. Stanton
They're also, they made the list.
Way to Runs, Crated Plus,
167 for Yordon
166 for Brent Rucker.
I think this is a time where we smash
that Jimmy button
Oh.
That's a good call.
That's fine.
That's fine.
Luser.
If I was to vote,
if I was to vote,
I think I would go,
Rooker. And I think you would go your Don. So I think Jimmy needs to be the deciding factor here.
I'm excited for this one because this is so tight that it's actually going to get him juiced up.
Yeah, let's let's, I'll leave it in the balance because it can go either way. It's gone either way all year.
And the other guy is going to end up in the fan vote.
Yes. Which part of me almost wants that to be your Don because I still think he can pull in more votes than Bram.
but Yordon has been back to being like the best hitter in the AL
that yeah a win-win at the D.H we'll come back to it
which that'll leave our fan vote to whoever loses the D.H.
I think that's obvious. Gunner. Gunner. Yes.
I would put Devers in that group.
Yes.
Yum.
And is that it?
Gunner Devers, whoever loses the DH.
I think that's it, man.
Is there an outfielder that's close?
I don't think so.
I mean, you could put Riley Green for clicks, but I don't...
He missed a little time.
Elbut's a little behind.
Santander's got the homers, if you ignore defense.
Boy Seeger.
I think just behind.
Yeah, Gunner's ahead of Seeger, you know?
Yeah.
He's in his own position.
I think it's those three.
Okay.
Okay.
So that'll be the fan vote.
Please go vote.
Please go vote.
It's that time of year.
Treve, I did DM you something funny yesterday on Instagram,
and you haven't seen it yet,
and I think you'll get a laugh out of it.
That's something you want me to do right now?
Yeah, kind of.
And we'll see if you want to discuss it or not.
Which means the pitcher, and I don't know,
pitchers always been a weird part of this.
We hate pitchers.
Trev's son is going to be a pitcher.
Nice.
That's the reaction you're looking for.
Treve, I'm going to cut through the funny business here.
Help, your guy Logan Gilbert.
I don't know, dude, pitchers think it's Terrick Scoobal.
It is.
I mean, if you're talking about American League starting pitchers,
it's the guy that's going to win the Siong.
He's continued his dominance.
He's, yeah, he's just having a better.
season.
Anybody else that's kind of what?
Kind of the game.
Yeah, this award is about.
So yeah, I would go.
I mean, there's a ton of great pitchers
in the American League.
The vaunted A.L. Central always has the tough
pitching. We all know that.
Framber's doing his thing out there in the West.
I don't see any A.L. East pitchers
mentioned, really at all,
except for Corbyn Burns and the Honorable Mention.
Yeah, I mean, Corbin slipped up a little bit.
Tanner Halk had a great presence on this list.
earlier.
Yeah, I could give a fake AL East.
It's tough to pitch there, bro.
But, no, I mean, Gilbert, Seth Lugo, Scoobel,
how about Framber ending up here?
When's he a free agent?
Some team just throw gobbles of money at him
and get him out of Houston.
Is that out free agency work?
Yeah, how do we not know this?
I mean, he's a free agent in 2026.
He's making.
$12 million this year.
I mean,
this is Jakey Scout.
I mean, does Framber not have lefty?
Like, he might be
twirling the ball till he's 43 energy.
Yes.
Like, because it's not like he's, it's not a,
he's a pitcher. He's not one of those guys
just blowing it out every single game.
Like his elbow's like, thanks, bro.
Like, this is pretty nice.
Which is dumb because Framber still touches
like 97 sometimes. It's like,
barely throwing out there.
I'll never forget when we first stumbled upon Framber,
and it was just because his glove was so little.
We're like, this dude's nasty, and his glove is so small.
What's going on?
Body's big, glove is small.
That body is going to age deliciously.
He's a lefty Johnny Quo, though.
Him and Blanco being on the same team is some, that's good imagery.
My only ask is no Framber on the Red Sox,
because I think he'd be perfect for them.
I can see it, though.
Congrats to Tarek Scuba.
Logan Gilbert, most quality starts, 21.
Lugo and Riggins.
You don't want to see those royals in a three-game set, bro.
Now you got me thinking where Framber is going to go.
Think about it.
Take a second.
Him in Juan Soto.
Him in the Capitol?
In D.C.
Yeah.
Stop.
Okay.
The National League.
The little brother.
That's, I don't even.
know what that is.
Speaking of brothers,
I think your two best catchers are brothers
that play in the NL Central.
And I feel like we don't talk about it enough.
I do this every month.
And it sucks because Wilson did just get banged up again
with his finger,
that he is low on games.
Will Smith, our guy,
always the brides made never the bride.
He's slowed down a lot this year.
It's been William Contreras the whole time.
There was a moment of,
Fear there where he had a tough month or so that we were like, wait, is Will Smith going to catch him?
Tyler Stevenson on the list.
Coming back to the young catchers of baseball.
This is William Contreras.
Geez, there you go.
As he had a bounce back resurgent month and he's head and shoulders above the rest of the crop.
Agreed.
I don't think there's anyone particularly close except maybe his brother, but even that, you know, the games aren't there.
William has been doing it on all sides of the ball.
I don't think it's much of a discussion if we're being honest.
So he's still in line for Silver Daisy.
And deservedly so, man.
Every time we do the Brewers talk, he's been there.
I mean, he's got 132 games played.
Like, that's the goods from a backstop.
Shout out.
Patrick Bailey is a good defensive
feature. We know that. Great. Great. Great.
We love you, San Francisco. Let's get out there, Trev.
Let's hit up Gabe and do it like the old times.
Where is Gabe right now? He hasn't been posting on social media. That scares me a little bit.
Reach out. Check on your friends. I think I do.
I do. I do you. Everything okay?
He's probably in Costa Rica. I haven't seen you post a TikTok in a while.
Costa Rica doing Hiawaska. I told you who he was FaceTiming
with, right? Way back in the day.
Excuse me?
Yeah, we'll talk after. I recall a message. He's hilarious.
First base, this might be a job off again.
Because it's stars of the game. Christian Walker's been banged up and he had a argument for
the Iron Throne. Pete Alonzo is just hitting homers.
God, his numbers are fine. It's pretty funny that people were freaking out about him.
Frederick Freeman and Bryce Harper
The WRCs are right there
The batting average, the on base
Bryce with a little more slugging
I don't know Trev
Actually as I look at these
I mean I guess I lean Harper
Which I don't think I felt that last time
Last time I feel like I looked at this and just like drooled
But what are you seeing
The numbers are insanely close.
Kind of anywhere you go, the OPS, Harper's got him by less than 30 points.
Freddy's got him in batting average, obviously, because that's what Freddie does.
Defensively, Bryce grades out better than Freddie.
So I think that's interesting.
As I am looking at these numbers, I am also leaning Bryce Harper.
stolen base percentage-wise,
not great for Bryce,
five stolen bases to four cot
ceilings, and you clean that up, big guy.
But everything is so similar.
78 runs driven in for Freddie,
76 for Bryce, 65 walks for Freddy,
65 for Bryce.
72 runs for Freddie, 72 for Bryce.
They are just neck and neck, man.
Bryce has him in the power department a little bit.
Yeah, and I'm...
I'm leaning Bryce too.
I think it is, Bryce.
And the August numbers put that out there
And I think some people might be surprised
Because there was some Bryce Harper power stuff going around
I mean he only had two homers in August
And he went through a drought there
But he was 298, 365
An 827 OPS
Our guy Freddie, 281 in his bad month
But a 314 on base
Like that's for Frederick
That's not what you expect, a 765 OPS.
So I think Bryce outplayed him in August
And I think that's what we're,
what does it. Little context
there. He broke his finger.
Right. So he's been
playing with his broken finger. They actually
they played against the Orioles not
too long ago. And Dave Roberts
called him in and said, hey man, he was like
in a slump. The finger was hurting.
And Dave Roberts said, you're
going to set this series out. Like just
you're not playing. I don't even know
if you show up to the ballpark. He's
dealing with his son and you know what's going
on at home. So there was like a mental reset
slash get your finger better.
And I believe the first game he came back.
I don't know if he homered, but he's been going off since.
So the mental reset, the physical reset was really good for him.
But that kind of explains why the August numbers are down.
But hey, man, it's a doggie dog world.
Bryce was doing it.
And we love Freddie and we have compassion on this show.
Always.
But it's Harper.
It was Freddie and April.
Bryce, Bryce, Bryce. Wow.
So it's neck and neck as it's been.
It is been Harper and it remains Harper as your NL first baseman.
I wouldn't sleep on Frederick though.
No, he's feeling good.
The Dodgers are widening their lead back in the NL West again.
It's...
I'm expecting them to go.
He might all J.M.
Bread mode it and take the bread of the first and the last.
if he can tap in.
But for now, it's Bryce Harper of your Philadelphia Phillies.
Second base, Trev, good news.
Well, bad news.
Ketel Marte got banged up his ankle.
He's missed a little bit of time recently.
But no one else is in his area code.
No.
The Crohn'sone, your guy, Luis Garcia, Jr. for your gnats?
Frambers, Nats.
Houston, I'm sorry.
We're all jealous
You guys
We want you
We're thinking
You're crazy
For not have signed this guy already
Jonathan India
All these guys have OPSs
In the 7s
Chrono Wars playing some first base
Ketel Marte
930 OPS
It's
It's not a fair fight
30 home runs
My God
Yeah this one's
Ketel
Even with the injury
He's done enough
To hold off everybody else
He's in line for the Silver Daisy
What's his status?
I mean snakes
Snakes don't care
Cateo-Marte status up
They just keep winning
It could return this week
Could
Could
So yeah he's been out since
He's been out since the 19th
He'll be back
He's coming back
And I think he's going to come back
With a silver daisy this year
because he's been, if he wasn't going to be back next month's conversation,
was going to get interesting from a game's played and all that standpoint.
But it seems like.
You sent me that DM at 2 in the morning, your time.
Yeah.
What were you doing?
Well, Trev, I went home midday yesterday.
Jess wasn't feeling well.
We took a little cat.
You napped with her.
I saw that.
And then we did a Yes Network Yankees live stream.
Yeah.
Were you up that late with that?
From 8 till 1130.
Okay, so you're winding down.
It was a later night.
You're winding down.
I'm on the couch.
And I saw a post
that was relatable to us.
It was.
And just unreal.
Unreal.
And that's social media, huh?
We'll talk more about that later.
Congrats at Cotell Marte.
Your
National League shortstop, Trev.
we might have gotten ourselves in trouble,
and maybe we still are?
It was Mookie Betts.
He was going to run away with the NLMVP.
His teammate said, no thank you.
Why don't you rest up that wrist?
I'm going to go for 50-50.
Ellie de la Cruz,
setting records of his own,
stolen bases,
electric highlights.
Last episode, we were in it.
We were like,
Ellie, Lindor,
I mean, you know, you got one guy who's so electric, one guy who's so consistent.
We landed on Ellie, and now I kind of have some guilt to it.
But that's also because Lindor's gone nuts.
He's setting shortstop records.
I mean, guys who have hit 30 home runs, I think it's him in Rod.
A-Rod for those who don't know.
Five seasons of 30 or more, yeah.
Which is crazy.
Some of that's September.
While being the premier kind of defensive shortstop in baseball,
throughout his time here, that I don't know.
I've got like a little bit of guilt over here, Trev.
I don't think you have to feel that way.
I mean, Ellie, what he does on the baseball field is incredible.
It's not like we're putting Francisco Indoor up against some scrub.
I mean, Ellie has 61 swipes.
He's already scored 90 runs.
He has 22 homers.
Like, he's getting that.
the job done. I think he grades out really well
defensively as well. I'm going to look that up.
I don't feel bad about that.
And I think really, if I was a player,
okay, and you
get this, Jake. I get this.
The award here that you want to win, sure,
Silver Daisy's the goal. That's so hard to get.
Winning in September
is all that matters.
That means you had the best season
overall. So if Francisco and Dorsey, yeah,
And look, Ellie's got 14 outs above average.
You know, he's only a couple behind Lindor,
the arm strength we know about, the sprint speed we know about.
So we're not, Ellie's going to be in the utility discussion.
So I don't have any regrets about this.
I am voting for Francisco Lindor for August because he has just turned it on and he deserves it.
And that's where...
Yeah, I wouldn't feel bad about having Ellie in there whatsoever.
Ellie had a fine August, 269, 328, a 782 OPS,
three, or, excuse me, six stolen bases.
Francisco Lindor, 325, 372, a 939 OPS, three stolen bases.
He outplayed him.
It was neck and neck, and I think he's taken that step above.
September hasn't happened yet.
Lindor has continued.
Yeah, no, and I've been, I've been happy for Mets fans.
I've been happy for Lindor.
This is currently one of his best offensive seasons,
if not his best offensive season,
which it's been fun to see him back in the spotlight.
Mr. Smile and getting some elite recognition,
like that five seasons with 30 homers,
what he does day in, day out as a switch hitter defensively,
6.4B war right now and
like picking up a Hall of Fame career.
Ellie, let's like chill on the strikeouts, bro.
Okay.
I know you're young. It's going to come.
But 174Ks through August.
Almost a 30% K percentage is.
We need to just chill that out a little bit.
We got that.
We got it.
Two strike approach.
Well, two strike approach would do somebody with
the 100 percentile sprint speed some good.
100 sprintile percent speed ever.
Like, dude, like, just, you know,
tap the ball and see what happens.
It's easy, Trev.
I mean, just tap the ball.
I'm not saying it's easy.
Have Ron Gardenhire reach out.
Oh, gosh.
Take strike one.
No, we don't want that.
Stop.
The 30% K rate
Just get it down to like 22.
Okay.
Your average will jump like 50 points, dude.
Okay, sorry.
Trev, we've got third base outfield pitcher, D.H.

Third base, and we mentioned the Daisy season.
situation. Alecbohm.com doesn't work.
He has been riding it out at third base.
A sneaky leader all year for the Phillies in the middle of that lineup, offensive production.
That I think last time we were like, hey, this is starting to become a debate.
And Trev, I think he's about to be dethroned.
And I think it's by your guy guy.
I'm not talking about Mani Machado, who is your.
guy. I'm not talking about Mark Vientos, who is your guy. I think Matt Chapman of the San
Francisco Giants not only offensively has gone toe to toe with these guys, but defensively
he's still that guy that has his war in an elite level, a 5.9b war that these other guys aren't
touching while the weighted runs created plus is in kind of the exact same spot.
I mean, I don't disagree here.
I think there's a little bit of a discussion.
Okay.
You know, you want to talk about these guys.
Like shout out Mark Vientos.
He's been instrumental to getting the Mets where they're at really close to a
playoff spot.
Without him, they're not there.
That's facts.
Alec Bohm, you know, we have to consider the fact that, yes, he has ran it so
far in the NL so you really got to dethrone the guy that's we set that precedent we really have
that being said i mean has matt chapman done that it's a little bit of everything it's the it's the
all-around ball player thing that we like on this show um 13 swipes like the base running value
is there uh we know what he does defensively his hip is finally feeling good
So overall numbers now, if we just go offensively, like he's, you know, 30 OPS points behind Alec Bohm,
way, way, he has an 875 OPS.
Okay, the games for Mark are not there.
That's why he's not necessarily in the discussion.
The rates would be there.
He is doing it, but he didn't, and maybe this is not his fault, maybe it is.
He didn't get that starting job until when.
I don't know, May or June or something like that.
Mani Machado is turning it on.
Yeah, it's coming.
Banged up to start the year.
I don't think he's done enough to separate himself.
The F or B were obviously in Chapman's favor
because of the base running because of the defense that adds on to it.
And I don't think that the offense is that far behind
where we can't include him.
and the more we look at it, I think it's,
I think my guy Chapy's done it.
Treb, I was going to start with,
in the second half, Matt Chapman offensively has outplayed bomb.
Boom, excuse me, since May 1st,
and this is a little tricky.
And hey, All Jam encompasses the full year.
So we're not ruling out April,
but I just want to put some things in a scope.
Alec Bome, since April 268, 315, a 738 OPS.
You know, a little above league average.
And, you know, defensively, I think he's been a touch better than where he has been in previous years.
Matt Chapman since May 1st, 255, 352, and 812 OPS.
So, you know, we're talking four months, four out of five months.
Matt Chapman has been a significantly better offensive player while being a significant
better defensive player that I
it's it's a no brainer for me that it's Matt Chapman
shout out Baum though because
defensively
you're right
he's made a huge improvement
yeah and I'm very curious
Philly's fans
you're out there let us know what he's done different
last year
minus four outs above average
22
minus six
2021 minus 2 this year, Jake.
He's positive.
Four.
Or five, excuse me.
Yeah.
What's he done?
Big old body over there.
I'm going Matt Chathamon.
Congrats to Matt Chapman,
who we might have to start talking about his free agency again, Trev.
I think he likes it there.
And we might start talking about his basement,
and they got money.
I don't know.
We could make it work.
Chappie's basement will be interesting.
Golf simulator, I don't know.
No, he's like, he's cooler than that.
I know that he doesn't come off that way, but...
Maybe it's like a...
Oh, I think I got it.
It's one of those, those, like, hidden rooms.
And it's like a golf simulator and bar.
Okay, let me just explain him real quick.
He wants to be...
Um, good dad.
good husband, all those things.
That's like his priority, but he also has got, like,
I'm not saying he's got a little dog in him.
That's not what I'm saying.
Like, he's a good dude, but, like, he can dance and, like, he likes,
we're not too dissimilar.
Enough of that.
Except he's just a much better baseball.
Trev, this is my favorite portion of this,
because I'm going to skip outfield.
real quick, because
DH, this is where we snap for
Marcel Ozu. An incredible year.
We were talking triple crown
for a little bit. My guy
Jack Peterson with some crazy numbers.
Schwabo.
Shohei Otani,
the first ever player to be
43-43.
Not much to add.
It could be 60-60. We don't know.
I actually call for 55-55
for him. I'm curious if he can get there.
50-50s and no doubter.
It's been show-hay every month.
It remains show-hay every month.
Marcel has won the last couple fan votes,
and his offensive numbers speak to that.
So I think he'll be in the mix again.
And Trev, actually, a couple birds while getting stoned.
I think it's Chris Sale again for the National League pitcher.
He won it last month after Reinaldo Lopa, or excuse me,
Ranger Suarez's reign came to an end.
I think between injuries, performance,
I mean, Mike King gets a shout out this week.
Reynaldo Lopez.
Zach Wheeler, I think, has the best argument against Chris Sale,
but I do think when you put all the chips down on the table,
it is Chris Sale again.
I mean, hey, this is what I like.
He's striking more for nine out than any of the guys on the list.
walking less per nine than anybody on the list.
The walks was surprising.
That's, that's wild.
He's made all of his starts.
The quality starts goes to Zach Wheeler by, I mean,
21 out of 27 through August have been quality for Chris Sales 15 out of 25.
I think a lot of that has to do.
You got to go six innings.
And I don't know if Chris Sales has done that a lot.
Clearly not as much as Zach Wheeler has done.
But yeah, I think it is Chris Sale.
There's been a lot of really, really good pitching in the NL,
but he's just been a tick above everybody else.
But Zach Wheeler definitely is.
He's right there.
Yeah, I'm not, he might be coming.
We're one star away between these guys going the other direction,
and you wonder Philly's Braves down the stretch how much of those conversations go.
Trev, I did all that.
little Paul Skeens. Hey, Skeens has some numbers.
We need more. You know, we need more.
Dude, Zach Wheeler's so rich.
Yeah.
Holy Snikes, dude.
Yeah.
He is going to end up making over $250 million in his career.
42 mil the next three years, geez.
Oh, deservedly so.
Yeah, yeah.
Hey, Mets, you had him, right?
Okay.
Trevor.
Just gave him Lundor.
Let's get to the main event.
Your NL Outfield.
Let me paint a picture.
Brent and Doyle, sure.
Him, Jerks, and Profar and Mike Talkman that first month.
The big three.
The three Amos.
Dream Blunt rotation.
Speaking of,
Christian Yelich jerks and Profar
and Jazz Chish, you're getting
Your Yankees third baseman,
Jazz Chish.
Jackson Merrill appears with Brandon Nimmo
and Jerkson Profar.
Look who's back.
It's Bretton Doyle with Jerkson Profar
and Brian Reynolds last month.
Trev, you know,
the way we do this is you need a center fielder.
This could be a team of center fielder.
This can go so many directions.
I think I have one person that I have as a lock, lock to be in my outfield.
Jackson Merrill?
Jackson Merrill.
Okay.
I think as- Also a lock for me.
As the numbers landed on September 1st, Jackson Merrill has it.
Offense, defense, speed.
a clutch had a ton of go-ahead or game-tying homers late in the game.
I think, you know, you got to have that.
Got to have that gene.
Dude, some of these names, Trevor.
Brent and Doyle is back.
Jackson Chariot is here in a big way.
Ian Hap, looking for wine.
Jake McCarthy is on her.
Elliot Ramos, two-for-four with a homer.
Every game.
Brian Reynolds
This is like gonna make my head explode
Everyone is so close
And then Jurekson Profar
Who has been here the whole time
And
The more I tilt my head
I think he
He still is
He's leading
And runs driven in
The only one with more than him
Is Tasker Hernandez
Um
The walks to strike out
is really getting me right now.
Okay, I didn't know he had that in the bag.
65 walks, 85Ks.
Dude, the weighted run created plus.
He's at 140.
No one else is at 1.30.
Except say a Suzuki.
Hello.
Oh, my God.
Hello.
I'm looking at Ian Hap and I'm a liking too.
Yeah, you should.
I think I'm stamping pro far from me.
You're putting pro far on there, huh?
I think so.
He's still there.
We're going to two San Diego outfielders out there.
He's been obviously a huge reason for them.
I like it because he's still bunts.
Okay.
You know I like that.
You and A.R.
Yeah.
At least I bunted in my career.
A. Rod never even tried a butt.
But he loves it.
He loves it.
I ask A. Rod to teach you out a bun.
He'd be like, huh?
He loves one the other guy's bun.
Bunt me over.
Who really was the better player between me and A.
Rod?
We'll never know.
We'll never, we'll never see it.
it on the same, same field.
Same playing level, same playing field.
Same opportunity.
I'm going A-Rod.
Do you think me and A-Ruby friends?
Seriously, if we met...
I don't think so.
I think you'd find common ground
baseball.
You'd find a cool hitting conversation.
I don't like cigars.
I think you'd walk away being like,
A-Rod's a little misunderstood, but just a little.
Okay.
Interesting.
Are you delay?
So, I, dude, I am out on this.
I want to just like defer and say, yeah, I'm done.
We agree on Jackson Merrill.
I'm also in on Jerks and Pro Far.
The overall numbers are still there.
I think he's, I think it means something.
He's got runs driven in, again, like I mentioned.
I think that counts for something.
Run scored.
I believe he's tops there.
I do love the walk percentage.
It's got over 20 homers, which is basically they all do.
So I'll go Merrill pro far.
And then after that, what are we going to do, Poppy?
I have no clue.
I think you've got to look at even like a Bretton Doyle
because of the defense stolen bases
and it's his best offensive season of his career.
I think he's like what I'm looking at,
813 OPS for a guy that plays like that.
Jackson Chirio is on his rear end.
Tay Oscar has been raking.
That is, that is,
Chirio is, I think if I had the choose between,
for the last vote here,
it would be Tariot and Doyle.
I don't hate Elliot Ramos.
I think you're kind of right.
And this just gets tricky for me
because I think if I'm being honest
and what it's supposed to be,
I think up until the point of,
of September 1st, I do think
Brenton Doyle has had a better season.
I think Jackson Trio is here,
and if I had to bet, like,
my dog's life on it,
who's going to be there in a month?
I think it's Toreo, but that's not the game.
I know people are going to be so mad at us.
Doyle clears him on base and unslugging,
and then obviously OPS,
F-Wore and B-Wore.
Trio does have them on weighted runs,
created plus by four.
Doyle has
25 swipes to Trujillo's 20.
The strikeout percentage is in
Truro's favor, but the Watt percentage is
in Brenton Doyle's.
Doyle has been runs driven in, runs scored,
homers, doubles, hits,
plate appearances,
games played.
They're so close, but I think
if you just look at it objectively, I think
Doyle still is there.
This obviously isn't the center field spot,
but Doyle does his work in center.
Trio's been between the two corners,
which mostly, which should matter to some degree.
Ian Hap, company man.
I know. He's had a great year.
He's so rich and handsome and professional.
It's better than us.
I wish there was a L. outfielder that was slugging like crazy.
Just firm handshakes from Ian Hap.
I wish Jake McCarthy had a couple more things going on.
He has an argument.
Man, I think you're right.
I think it's Doyle and Cherio,
and I think if we let this run for even another week,
I think it's Cherio.
But I think it's Brent and Doyle,
22 homers, 25 stolen bases,
playing elite defense.
He's had some up and down months,
but he's kind of been here the whole season
where Chirio has really turned it on in the second half.
and he's coming and he should be excited about that,
but I think it's Brent Doyle.
Colorado Rockies.
N.L. West.
Do you ever get Joms decision?
Just looked.
No text back on your Donverse Rooker.
So the...
It's going to be a surprise.
When the graphic comes out, you're going to know.
The NL fan vote will come down to Marcelo Zuna, obviously.
Ellie de la Cruz
Yes
And Freddie Freeman
I think so
I feel bad
Is there a fourth guy that we need in there
Is Beaum deserve a chance to be saved
Freddie Freeman
Ellie Dele Cruz
Marcelo Zuna
Yeah
I think that's it
I think Boeum's watch has ended
I think
Get the Philly people real pissed off for the playoff.
I think that's it.
Trevor, don't envy us on days like this.
Tell us where we got it wrong.
Oh, you got Elliot Ramos.
Thank you guys.
We'll see you Friday.
Chick-Sucks.
Every NFL field is so good.
Heavy is the head that wears the crown.
or has to make decisions on the all-j-empty.
That's what we said.
You have the one you like more, I get it.
By the way, I mentioned before rings of power
didn't do it for me first season.
Second season's got me just locked.
Yeah, I've heard good things.
I'm starting to really appreciate you.
Okay.
