Starting point is 00:00:01 Hello and welcome to talking baseball. The Texas Rangers are World Series champions. We're going to talk all about it. Hello and welcome to talking baseball. Thank you very much for joining us today. If you've been with us all postseason, all season, or it's your first time tuning in. We appreciate you all the same. Actually, I appreciate you much more the longer you've been with us.
Starting point is 00:00:40 but, you know, for all new people, you got a chance to stick around. It's brought to you by, yeah, it's brought to you by Seatkekekech co-Johnboy postseason. There's a couple more days left because it runs through, I think, a potential game seven. Yeah. I think. So, tonight might be your last chance. Yeah, so you don't have plans now for a game six or seven. So pick up some tickets to the theater or like a different sporting event and take a friend.
Starting point is 00:01:04 John Boy postseason, 10% off your order, whether you are a first-time buyer or not. They've been with us this whole postseason on talking baseball and on J&B baseball YouTube live streams. And we appreciate them for the support. We appreciate you guys for the support. And you guys get to like mingle together, both supporting us. John Boy postseason 10% off tickets at Seatkeek. Trevor Plouffe is with me. Jake Storreilly is not with me.
Starting point is 00:01:28 He's currently drowning at the bottom of the deep end and center field in Arizona. One thing before we dive into this. Yes. feels like a good time to mention like, if you're new, consider subscribing. It could also subscribe. It's a good episode to plug it. If you like Trevor's haircut and his general look right now,
Starting point is 00:01:46 I think it looks great, Treve. I know you're iffy on it because it's new, but I think you look great. I don't mind the haircut, but like the shaved face with the tight fade. This is called the Kenny Rosenthal. I don't know if you saw how tight he got for this world series, but he took it up a little bit.
Starting point is 00:02:00 You look like your face got thin. Not a bad way, but like you look like more. more chiseled. I've been intermittent fasting, so I'm going to Mexico for Ryan Brown's 40th birthday, so I got to look good. Okay, all right. There's a lot of things going on, James, but listen, my Texas Rangers right here.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Yeah, oh, it's forever. We knew it from the get-go. No, we didn't, man. This team deserves so much credit for proving people wrong, anyone that doubted, you know, the age of the pitchers, the health of the pitchers, the status of the bullpen, you know, would this team gel? That's me. That's this idiot right here.
Starting point is 00:02:40 That's what I said. Is this team going to gel? What does that even mean, Trev? They jelled. In the best way, they kept making moves. I put out a tweet today about it. Like, they just did everything. Like, they explored all areas to get better.
Starting point is 00:02:54 And they got better very quickly because of it. So if you're a fan of any other team and your front office says, you know what, guys, I think we're going to take a little bit of time here. And, you know, it's not going to be good for the next five years. Point to this and say, well, the Rangers did it in two years. Yeah. When Gibby came on our show, someone commented this last episode. Gibby said on our show that the window was 2023.
Starting point is 00:03:19 Crazy. I remember that and we're like, dude, okay, Gibby. Yeah. And he was like, no, I think 2023 is the year. We have a real shot. It's like, oh, shit, that's awesome. Some quick bullet points that are fun facts that we can talk about or not. But I just want to say him is Will Smith now has won three world series.
Starting point is 00:03:36 in three consecutive years with three different teams. First one, first guy to do that. That's the same. Dodgers, Braves, and Rangers. And Seeger wins World Series MVP, first person to do that in two, in both leagues, NL and A. Bochi, Bochi wins his fourth world series.
Starting point is 00:03:57 And that's pretty cool. So just some fun math right there. We can talk about this game a little bit. I know that you want to Are we calling me to burn? It's a burn poem. It's a burn poem. It's like a seance it.
Starting point is 00:04:14 Yeah. It's a congratulatory burn poem. We can play the music. I'll read it off. We'll get into the game. I think Bochy might be going by the name Bochy tonight as he's partying. Yeah. Jake's been dying to see him in his undershirt.
Starting point is 00:04:30 Wow. If you want to do it, I'm ready. people bear with me i know jake's the king of this but we're going to find out where jake is in this poem game five in the desert rangers at snakes who in the pool for my good pal jake galen was dealing a gem he was spinning but iovald who is runners on shit he kept winning no hits through the six here comes the third time through it's true tory isn't cash but what would he do leave him in we all shouted we demand We stated three batters later and the first run was plated for more in the ninth this one is on ice
Starting point is 00:05:17 Simeon woke up and Paul Wall paid the price So congrats to the Rangers was it ever in danger? Jake's now dead in that pool. I still had to put out this banger Let's go Texas Very nicely done very nicely done you always kind of go into you always kind of go into like a Um, Rudolph when you get into poem face. Yeah. That's all I got.
Starting point is 00:05:46 Yeah. Poems. Or not Rudolph, not Rudolph night before Christmas. It's my, it's my, it's my, it's my cadence that I have. That's the only one. Yeah. I like that. Like your, like your rap style is just night before Christmas and that's it.
Starting point is 00:05:57 That's fair. That's fine. It's a poem, not a rap, by the way. Not a wrap. Not a rap. Not a rap poem. Uh, this game was interesting. Galen was nasty as no hits through six.
Starting point is 00:06:09 But, uh, he, uh, he had to face Avaldi, who was bending and not breaking, like constantly runners on. They even tried to snake them twice, you know, and a lot of people hate the bunting, so it's probably going to be a talking point, but in the first inning you get Corby and Carol on. I said to the guys in the chat,
Starting point is 00:06:30 the room with me, I was like, he better fucking steal, otherwise I'm out, and he steals right away. So, okay, good. He knew the rules. Then they try to bunt. The two-hole guy tries to bunt. eventually he moves him over with a base hit the two-hole guy I said um
Starting point is 00:06:45 marty and then uh later on in the third thing i think it was they have moreno bunt to move them to second and second and third with one out and that ended up not working a lot of people hate bunting and they don't like taking your bat out of your two-hole hitter and then you're your five what's merino hitting three hole head he was three yeah three-hole hitter so i guess because the other Quasion is talking about the bullpen and gallon and like those, but you got to talk about the offense first. They didn't score any runs.
Starting point is 00:07:18 In my opinion, that's what they've done. That's how they've won games. Longo hasn't bunted in a decade and he laid down a bun and led to runs for them. So it's kind of what they've been doing. So at this point to criticize them for it, I think is not totally fair. It didn't work, though. Yeah, I mean, that's kind of their M.O. They've done that.
Starting point is 00:07:37 It's the Embrace Chaos. I like that mantra. I think it's good. I think it works, but you've got to come through with runners in the scoring position. You're just trying to get as many chances as possible. They're 0 for 9 tonight.
Starting point is 00:07:49 And I've been on the field, James, many times where our team hasn't hit with runners and scoring position. And you look up and you've got all these chances, you've got no runs on the board. All of a sudden, the other team gets their first chance with runners in scoring position.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And they get a knock, and you're like, fuck, man. Yeah. Like, it's one of the worst feelings as an offense is when you can't come through and the other team just does. and it's like, dude, you feel bad for the pitchers, especially if it's still the starter in the game
Starting point is 00:08:16 and he's held him in check for that long, you just haven't giving him any run support. But it's an empty feeling. I don't hate the bunts. You know, you don't necessarily want to bunch your three-hole hitter, but this isn't a typical three-hole hitter. You know, Moreno has had good games in the postseason. He's going to be a great player offensively, I think so as well.
Starting point is 00:08:37 But, like, you know, he's not, he's not your game. your prototypical three-hole hitter that's established and you count on to drive-in runs for you. And I know there's a lot of stats out there in this postseason and in postseason in general about scoring first. And so I didn't mind it. You just got to get the knock, not even a knock, James. You just got to put the ball in play.
Starting point is 00:08:57 Christian Walker put the ball in play. Like, have better at bats. And, you know, you can say that while also tipping your cat to Nate Doe. He was great. I was loving being in the mind of Heim and him. doing the live stream. Like I would call this now. Oh, he just got, you know, he was, he was working his pitches off his previous pitch
Starting point is 00:09:19 really, really well. Oh, I just got this outside line on a fastball. And he like kind of fouled it off. Let's play on the outside with the slider now. And then he'd get the swing and the miss or he'd get it take looking or, you know, the fastball low called strike, okay, splitter in. And he was, he was just really, he was, finding a good pitch, and then he was playing off that good pitch really well.
Starting point is 00:09:44 So a good call by Hime and him. And Gallin was doing the same on the other side. Gallin's fastball is very interesting to me because it doesn't, it's not overpower. It's 92. So, you know, if you're drafting, you know, pitchers, you're not going to be like, I want Gallon's fastball. It works well in harmony with all his other pitches. But it also is a little frustrating times because you're like, whoa, I feel like they should be.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Like, why aren't the Rangers hitting that? It's kind of that invisible fastball. So it is a full credit to gallon, but he makes pitchers look like. Like, you know, Simeon and Carter, they took some swings. And I'm like, I think you got to hit that, man. Like, I feel like you guys been hitting that. But he held him no hit for a while. Yeah, and he primarily went like four-scene fastball curve.
Starting point is 00:10:28 And then he brought the change up in kind of later. But he was almost 70% in those two pitches. So, you know, he was trying to make some adjustments. And he looked great. Yeah, just. My least favorite thing happened. one of my least favorite things that I've been griping about for years. Can't wait.
Starting point is 00:10:43 The first hit, Gallen gives up and is a soft hit by Seeger to the left side. I literally said it after Seeger's first at bat because he grounded out to the shortstop, and I saw the third baseman playing basically shortstop and the shorts I was playing right behind the bag. And I was like, he threw him changeups away, fastballs away, and breaking balls. away. Why are they shifting
Starting point is 00:11:11 third baseman so far away? I said that after his first at bat. I think it was his third at bat. When they do it again and they have the same. I hate when the defensive shift does not match with the pitching attack. Like the defensive shift coach and the pitching coach, they should be standing next to each other. Yeah. And they're like not ever in baseball these days. I like to see all the numbers because there are times where, you know, that stuff away, especially off speed away, like typically on the ground, you would pull it. But then if you have a good approach and, yeah, rolled over. But if you have a good approach and you're recognizing what they're doing to you,
Starting point is 00:11:51 then yeah, you just kind of can stay inside the ball and do that. But if you're rolling it over, it's not like you're like, you know, hot shot where you need all your defenders, perfect spot. It's more like you're going to charge a bus. So anyway, it's a minor thing in a game where the Rangers, you know, eventually go on to have their big outbursting. when the debacks held them to one. I was like, oh shit, that's actually crazy.
Starting point is 00:12:13 Yeah, Rangers scored. They had bases loaded. They don't score just one run and anything. And then it ends. They score multiple and the debacks held them. Honestly, I had to go down and get ice cream for the gang. So I missed how they got out of it. But the gink did his work, I guess.
Starting point is 00:12:27 Yeah, gink did his thing. He was one in two thirds, one hit. Got through it, man. Anything about this game? Is this a zero ERA for the third? postseason for him? I think so, yeah. Holy sniky.
Starting point is 00:12:41 And one of the biggest jowls you'll see on a not big guy. He's not like fat guy, but his cheekbone to like chin. Oh, man, it's like, it's going to be big when he keeps going. Bebs, I don't know. I want to get you a little, I want to get you to do something for me here. What was the bullpen ERA for the Rangers through the postseason? Has anyone tweeted that? How about you place a bet on it?

What was the arranger's bullpen for the series? Do you have it?
Starting point is 00:14:06 have that in the regular season, they had a 4-7-E-R-A and a 408 in the playoffs. A 408? In the playoffs. In the playoffs. Did you want playoffs or World Series? I wanted playoffs. There must be one outlier game that I'm not remembering now. But when they needed this bullpen.
Starting point is 00:14:27 They gave up a bunch late. That's true. I guess I meant to say the Bochie's A pen. You know, that's something that was talking about it. In wins, you can. No, because yesterday was win. I just think that that was something that was talked about so much going into the postseason. How are they going to survive a seven-game series with that bullpen when you only have three starters?
Starting point is 00:14:47 The reality of the situation is we never gave Heaney Dunning, you know, their due, you know, those are starters, the big league starter. So, like, you have those guys, too, the can eat innings. You saw it yesterday with Heaney. And then the guys that he clamped down with, Boers, Chapman, and LeClerc, I mean, they got the job done. they got the freaking job done. That's why I always say to people, man, the bullpen's fluid. Like, it's a living organism.
Starting point is 00:15:14 Like, sometimes it's going to be healthy and thriving. Sometimes it's going to get sick. Sometimes it's going to get injured. If you get it, if you line it up, right, in the postseason, that's kind of all it takes. We've seen the white socks try to build an unbelievable bullpen. And that was why I believed in them a lot. I love what they built.
Starting point is 00:15:32 It never worked for them. It's such. I think the bullpen is the biggest crapshoot on a team. It's just so fluid. Well, I have those three main guys for them. Chapman had a 2-25 playoff ERA. LeClerc was a 3-29 ERA, and Spores was an 075.
Starting point is 00:15:55 Yeah, LeClark got hit around a little bit in this one. Anyway, thanks, Beavs. The bullpen thing is interesting. I think you have to, put your starters in the bullpen. It wasn't the same as I've seen with other teams and enjoyed with other teams, but, you know, Heaney came up pretty big, give them five. I've always said that that's what you need.
Starting point is 00:16:17 You don't need eight guys that can go two innings. You need four guys that can go one point, and you need some guys to eat losses or big wins and help out. And yeah, we've seen the White Sox try to build a point. playoff bullpen with money. We've seen the Yankees try to do it. The Yankees kind of have, like, abandon that because it's not really worth it anymore. And some Brian Feingold in the chat said, I guess we can't really say, oh, but their bullpen
Starting point is 00:16:45 sucks anymore because the last three winners have had a awful bullpen. And then that's the bullpen was what I'm saying. And then it was the pride. The Astros didn't have a bad bullpen last year. No. So it was, it was the Braves before them. The Nationals for them. And the Nationals and 19.
Starting point is 00:17:03 Yeah. Just get hot, you get hot. And it's all about pressure, man. And the Rangers, when they score, they score big. And then the pressure's on you in all the innings. Like another example of this. And we've said it time and time again about these Rangers. And it's a mark of an excellent team, a World Series champion team.
Starting point is 00:17:27 Even after Alec Thomas misses that ball, it's 3-0. and, you know, a couple guys on, you're in it, but they add on Simeon hits the homer to make it 5-0, and then it's game over. And then it's game over. And that's what good teams do. When you give them a chance to add on, they do. They take advantage of mistakes.
Starting point is 00:17:48 I'm stoked for this Rangers team. I just think that they prove me wrong. Like, you can bring up the receipts all you want. I don't care. I don't give a shit, man. I didn't believe it. So what? Like as a season went on, they started,
Starting point is 00:18:00 To gel. And they, when they got hurt, they went on added. It was like a thing of beauty as a baseball fan to see an ownership group in a front office continue to put, you know, the gas pedal down. Fuck it. We're not like, you see, how many times have we seen over the last couple years? Some injuries happen to some key players and teams shut it down and might sell at the deadline. Like, that just wasn't the case here.
Starting point is 00:18:27 Like, they, they believe, man. and they said we can do it. And not only did they just go out and get some people. Like think about who they relied on in the postseason. They went out and traded for those guys. Like Monty's a guy like that.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Like Chapman, they relied on him. Whether you want to believe it or not, they did. Like, they did it, man. I'm stoked for the guys that have been there a long time in that organization.
Starting point is 00:18:51 I'm stoked for the guys that chose to go there in free agency. I'm stoked for the guys that got lucky and got traded over there. I'm stoked for Bruce Bochie that coming off the couch
Starting point is 00:18:59 and just winning a world series. Like how, awesome is that for his legacy. I don't know, man. That's awesome for Bochy. I mean, and old managers. That continues to be a pretty big thing. I mean, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Mattingly and, and Mattingly, probably Buck, Showalter, even though he just left the Mets. He's rumored to go to the Angels. We'll cover all the off-season stuff. Ron Washington rumored to get, be up for manager jobs and positions.
Starting point is 00:19:27 Old managers are going to be in. they've been in. LaRusa kind of ruined it for people. And, well, Showalter, you know, didn't do his thing. First year,
Starting point is 00:19:39 we were still praising. Yeah, that was, uh, uh, yeah, yes and no, I have no idea.
Starting point is 00:19:47 I have no idea. I still think someone's going to give him a shot, though. Um, some stat lines for the people at home. Travis Jenkowski comes in and, uh, ends up hitting,
Starting point is 00:19:58 which is awesome. Like, okay, that's fine. Corey Seeger wins the MVP. 306 batting average 442 on base percentage. 1.135 OPS. He finishes with six home runs in the postseason.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Now, Garcia had eight home runs in the postseason, and he had a higher slugging than Seeger, higher batting average, but on base was less. Seeger wins the MVP. Six doubles, six home runs. for Cory Seeger. Jesus. The two bats that he used all year.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I mean, think about that. Yeah. That's awesome. Evan Carter. 309 batting average in the postseason. He had a lot of doubles. What do you have? Eight doubles, one homer.
Starting point is 00:20:52 509 slug, 433 on base percentage. That's pretty wild. Can I say something to Evan Carter? Say it. like I don't mean to be mean, bro, but it's all downhill from here. Yeah, yeah. Well, I don't know, man.
Starting point is 00:21:05 They might have been saying that they might have been saying that the Bregman back in the day. No, okay. Okay. Yes. There's no more up like you can't get any higher, bro. So you either plateaued or you're going downhill. Just enjoy it. Are you kidding me?
Starting point is 00:21:20 Your first taste of like ball is this postseason run where you end up hitting in the three hole and winning the World Series in five games. If you listen to guys, like Bregman or Jeter that win it in their first year, they say that it makes it more like desirable. Like people like, you know, you relax like, no, dude, because now it feels like such a failure if we don't go back and do it again. It feels like what was all this fucking worth when you've like done it?
Starting point is 00:21:52 So interesting to see. But I always enjoyed that perspective of like them like, no, dude. It drove me way more. So. I love it. I mean, he looks like a guy that's driven. and he seems just like a freaking baseball rat. So I love Evan Carter.
Starting point is 00:22:05 I'm just trying to give him a hard time because, dude. I mean, yeah, it's perfect. He's about 18 games or whatever. Yeah, my numbers that I'm looking at now looks like 40 total games, 23 of those in the regular season until it was the 17th playoff game of his career. And hold on.
Starting point is 00:22:20 Can I give a huge shout out to my dude that this is like a personal pride win for me because I've had, and I know no one here listens to Talking Yanks and this isn't talking Yanks, but I have been, and Jake and I used to get debates over this, singing Jordan Montgomery's praises since he was a rookie.
Starting point is 00:22:35 Not as an ace or a stud postseason pitcher, but like a very valuable innings eating, gives you distance, consistent, has pitches. I thought he could take the step up. The Yankees got rid of him. I kind of didn't like that. I love Jordan Montgomery. He led the Rangers in innings pitch this year by beating Nathan Evaldi by an out. 31 innings pitch, 30.2 for Nathan Evaldi.
Starting point is 00:23:01 He pitched so well, man. He had a 2-9 ERA in the postseason. He had 1.3 whip. He started five games, two quality starts, three wins. Shut down Yordon in that one game. Very happy for him. Happy for Nate Dogg, too, who kind of establishes himself as a playoff stud.
Starting point is 00:23:23 Oh, yeah. You know, fully cemented it. They went out and they got these pitchers. They got Scher. They got where they got DeGrom, they got Scherzerzor, they get all these pictures. Monty and Nate Dog get it done. So happy for Jordan Montgomery.
Starting point is 00:23:38 You know, everything, how many starters did they have really in this post? He's, I guess it's five then. Well, they had Monty, Eilvaldi, giving them good starts. Shurzer started three, nine innings. But you had Heen Dog step up for you. You had John Gray step up for you. Like, it's cool, man. I feel like so many people contributed.
Starting point is 00:24:02 Even Marcus Simeon, I want to give him his just due. Like if you go through an entire postseason, like you're stoked that your team won it. But like when Adolias goes out, like Marcus showed up the last two games. Like he drove and runs. He was a producer. So like even him like he gets,
Starting point is 00:24:22 he doesn't have that feeling of like, man, I just showed up. Like I didn't really do anything. Like he gets the feeling of now I contributed to this. And I'm just stoked for their core, and I'm stoked for them to come into next year with, like, the highest of high expectations. I want to see how they respond to that.
Starting point is 00:24:40 But the group they have in here, it's a really fun group, man, and I'm stoked for them to see where they go. Hey, Simian, for all he was getting, you got to hit every game in this World Series. He hits 292 in the series with a couple homers. Like, he had a good series. And they needed it.
Starting point is 00:25:00 Do we need to bury and read a eulogy for the debacks in the nicest way possible? I mean, you got to give credit to these. I mean, more so than the Rangers, a team that nobody gave a chance. I'd be able to get hot and do this, 84 wins, and you beat some very, very good baseball teams, dude. You beat the Phillies, you beat the Dodgers, you beat the Brewers. And then you just kind of ran out of gas here. but, you know, Corbyn Carroll, now he's got the itch.
Starting point is 00:25:33 I can't wait to see what he does in his follow-up year. Cotel Marte, it was fun to watch him do his thing in the postseason. He kind of turned into a baseball household name, if you will. They also have a nice core, and I'm excited for them to have some lofty expectations. And then next year, who do we have as the favorite for the NLS? Is it the Dodgers? Is it the D-Bags? Is it the Padres?
Starting point is 00:25:56 who were going to have to forfeit all their money because they don't have it apparently. Didn't you and Jake say that? Wasn't that like a thing Jake said? We did. We said that. You guys like we should go find that clip of like you guys saying, do you think the Padres have this money?
Starting point is 00:26:10 Like you know, dude, Jake literally said, I think Jake was like, I think there's a story's going to come out that like the Padres don't have this money. Didn't he say that? A 30 for 30 is coming out and we're going to find out like they actually
Starting point is 00:26:23 did not have this money. He did say that. And it just came out that they, like, we need to go find that clip. Damn, I wish it wasn't at the bottom of the pool right now. We have a comment because we are live on YouTube right now for this episode. And we have a comment from Miles England, which is kind of like meters America. I like that. Super chatted donations.
Starting point is 00:26:46 A gentleman, I want to thank you. It's been a wonderful season. Thank you for keeping us informed and entertained. I am so, I and so many other appreciate what you do. Looking forward to a great off season. and thanks for everything. Thank you very much, Miles. And yes, thank you to everyone that's been tuning in
Starting point is 00:26:59 and part of this, the show, the YouTube, the podcast, all the social channels, I mean, grew like crazy. I mean, the social channels grew insane this year. Not that the other stuff didn't. It's all been great, but like go insane. So our social team kills it as usual. Thank you to them and all you guys. And yeah, if you want to do some more on the debacks,
Starting point is 00:27:21 like they just didn't hit in the end. I don't know. I don't know if their style. play is like too much pressure. Maybe you want a guy's just free swinging. I don't think so. I think that's how they play. They just kind of ran into a buzzsaw offense and some lights out pitching from Baldy. It's got a sting. I mean, you're so close. And again, Jake texted us, apparently he's not dead at the bottom of the pool. He said, starting to think that game one blown save did mean something. And like I said, it could have easily been two, two, could be a three two series going back to
Starting point is 00:27:57 Texas right now, but it ain't. Rangers hoisting that hunk of metal, man. Good for them. Did I hear right that it took them 25 years from their franchise beginning to make the playoffs? Yeah, what's Jake's next house mean? That was me.
Starting point is 00:28:15 He's saying he only would have missed this step for the warehouse games and hashtag ad meaning promo warehouse. Free ad for the warehouse. Treves coming. We're filming a warehouse next week. Oh, and baggage has a semi-final game coming up tomorrow, Trevon, Floorball versus McFlurry Power. Jake in the net, baggage changing their strategy a little bit.
Starting point is 00:28:40 I started to find the net in the quarterfinal game. So I am starting to play more offense thinking that McFurray Power, KMack and Steve Dangle, Chelsea, and Nick, they spread the floor out. So I'm going up top, see if I can put some in. good game. I don't know if you've tuned in any of these games, Trev, but Chris Rose is doing a comedy show. They're growing great, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Like it's, and Pavel Barber too, but it's unbelievably funny. See, Rose is the best. If you like what we do on talking baseball, again, subscribe for us. We really haven't asked that a lot,
Starting point is 00:29:16 but as we got around 100K, we wanted to do it. You would love the warehouse games. It's a cross between real live sports, WWE we have incredible personalities awesome merch just just go check that out but I want to say to all the fans out there I don't have the chat up I'm sorry I'm rusty on this live thing yeah thank you to everybody like I have so much fun it's daunting to have a national podcast talking about all 30 teams we fuck up all the time I know that
Starting point is 00:29:47 I try my best though dude like I put a lot of work into this show and it's only because I know you guys appreciate it. Like that's the reason we do the show. We love it. And we ain't going nowhere. So thank you for all the support. Yeah, actually, we'll be back. You know, you come here next week.
Starting point is 00:30:04 So I think we're going to do kind of a big whip around episode of all the off seasons. A lot of off season notes we've got to catch up on. Manager availability, GM firings, rumors and stuff. We got all the J.M. team to put out. We do all the off season and stuff. We get that question a lot at the end of the year. Like, do you guys? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:20 We don't see you until April? No. Here, all off-season. Two episodes a week in the off-season. We'll see if we can get some guests. We have some staple episodes. And then come February, we'll be previewing every single team. That'll be good.
Starting point is 00:30:33 That'll be fun. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you to everybody out there. And if you are a Rangers fan, we just dropped, like, a ton of World Series Rangers merch. Our design team crushes those. And we'll see if the Rangers give it any love. You know, there's fan bases that have, like, loved our merch and bought.
Starting point is 00:30:51 bought it and and we'll have some MLBPA license merch coming out soon as well, I think. If some didn't, if some didn't drop while this happened. Yes, they got to prove it. But, uh, yeah. Shop.jamboymedia.com. Congrats to the Rangers and congrats to Treff who played for the Rangers. There's an awesome spring, man. That's a RBA ring by association.
Starting point is 00:31:16 The fingerprints are all over the team. Season's over. Season's over. no more 1 a.m. nights for BBD. And I. Oh, listen. The biggest move ever happens to be happy to be like already. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:31 I've been very tired. I'm so excited to come to work at 9. Pop a gym. Going to sleep at 2 a.m. after these shows and then waking up at 5 with the kids. Oh, boy. Been rough. But I appreciate it. And it's fun.
Starting point is 00:31:48 All right. Love you guys. Thank you very much. we will be back next week. We'll see how Jake handled the ocean. Pool, pull. Arizona's actually landlocked for, you know, you wouldn't think that.
Starting point is 00:32:01 Jake's alive. Oh, good. You guys, if you follow the show, you know what I'm about to go try to do. Hey, babe. Season's over. I'm free. Love you all.
Starting point is 00:32:25 So much love.
