Talking Simpsons - Listen to This Week's Exclusive Episode and Give to a Good Cause!
Episode Date: February 18, 2026Your regularly scheduled episode of Talking Simpsons is being pushed to next week for a very good reason: we've decided to shift our priorities a bit and cover an infamous animated special that's the ...perfect fodder for our podcast. (And we haven't lost our minds—it's for a good cause.) So if you head on over to our Patreon shop, you'll see that we've covered "The Simpsons Guy," The Family Guy season 13 premiere that mashes up Our Favorite Family with... that other family. The price? A meager $10. And every penny of it will go to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota. Can't afford an extra $10 this month? We'll see you next week, when we cover season six's Sideshow Bob Roberts. But just remember the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota is always accepting donations, so keep them in mind whenever you've got a little extra in the bank. Again, if you'd like to hear our exclusive podcast all about the season 13 Family Guy episode, "The Simpsons Guy," just click right here to head over to our Patreon shop. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please DO NOT buy the episode via the iOS Patreon app! Apple personally jacks up the price by $4.50, and that extra fee goes directly to them.

I heartily endorse this event or product.
Ahoy, hoi, everybody, and welcome to a special Talking Simpsons announcement.
I am one of your host, the shameless rip-off Bob Mackie, and who is here with me today, as always.
Potucket, Patriotale fan, Henry Gilbert.
And yes, we are here today to take this week's episode hostage, but for a very good cause, because you know us.
We hate ice, and we love to complain, and we decided let's use this platform for good.
So this week, in lieu of getting your normal Talking Simpsons episode in your feed, we are asking you to go out and purchase a special episode we put together for charity.
And, Henry, what did we do this week?
What kind of Madcap creation did we put together?
We decided to jump ahead by about 10 years and a whole other series in our chronological exploration and cover not a Simpsons episode, but two Family Guy episodes, the famous, nay, infamous crossover.
the Simpsons guy.
Yes, and I'm sure everybody out there has wanted to hear our take on this double-length
episode. So we have decided for a good cause, once again, to put together a very long
episode in the standard Talking Simpsons format, history, writers' corner, directors' corner, lots
of clips, trivia, you know what we do. And like we said, it's all going to charity.
And that charity is the immigrant law center of Minnesota. So here's the deal. If you want to
listen to this episode, it will cost you the tiny sum of
$10 USD.
You just go to our Patreon page, go to the shop, and you will see that as the sole item on
that page.
You click on it, you buy it, bam, you've given to charity, and you get to listen to a great
episode of our show.
And if you don't know what I'm talking about, check out the information that we posted
alongside this podcast.
It's right on your podcast player.
It'll have a link you can click on to go directly to that page to purchase that episode.
The Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota does so much.
much to help immigrants and refugees in Minnesota who are being very affected right now by the
disgusting operations of our government in that state. And we want to help in a way we can.
And I think you guys can help us with that too. And we get to do a podcast that we would have
waited years to have done and one we have wanted to talk about for a long time, too.
Yes, so once again, we are taking this week's episode hostage for a good cause, so please go to patreon.com slash talking Simpsons. Go to our shop.
Buy that episode, our episode all about the Simpsons family guy crossover, the Simpsons guy.
And once you buy that, that money will go directly to the immigrant law center of Minnesota.
And if you can't afford to give the charity, we totally understand that.
And we will see you next week when we cover sideshow Bob Roberts.
