purely because seriously you've got experts there trying to match you up on what things you think you need but things they think you need and sometimes

you can't really see do you know what I mean like what you think you need in a relationship might be completely different yeah and like the way that the process normally works you can see that like if they do put in the work and they change those things about themselves then they can actually work as opposed to like getting my belly out on love island and jiggling about in slow motion you what I could not do married at first sight do you think only because I think it goes obviously

culturally it goes against like um my family values but also a lot of like black black um ethnic what the hell am I saying a lot of black people can I say black people I can't a lot of black people they I think if anyone can say black people it's you

that is so funny um so as a as a black person um marriage is to do with families so if i went onto that show and i've not met the family red flag already because because obviously uh when it comes to marriage culturally is the families coming together so we have like a tradition a traditional way it's like both families meet up together. We've got to send them a whole long list. They go out and buy the things on the list. So if you were my sibling,

you could be like, I want a watch. I want this. Stop it. Do you have to buy, like families have to buy for the other? Yeah, just to show that they can look after their daughter.

Like it's more like family, like tied. So a show like Married at First Light, if my mum ever, or my dad ever, was to see the application on my laptop they will wring my neck yeah they work my neck oh my god that's so interesting yeah i would rather go on love is blind because you still get to meet the families afterwards don't you yeah right okay i would yes yeah i would rather love is blind because there's still the hannah family

aspect and then i think before you get married you can kind of like the family be like... See, I think also my issue with a lot of these dating shows stems from the idea of being rejected. Like, my ego cannot take it. He is spilling. If I tell my friends I'm going on this dating show and then I walk out like... Big clown.

I will be the clown that don't like match up with anyone that's the other thing with like Love Island it's like it's just purely about looks isn't it really yeah yeah yeah

and like if you get rejected on that that's just like soul crushing because the whole world watches it but what's even worse is that
