You know when you go on and you sit on your computer and then you were like got to go be right back you can actually log off the internet you can turn that dial up click disconnect and you can go out and play with your friends now always connected before I was clued up I used to think BRB which is be right back meant burp

of just being able to go like I'm actually disconnected from the internet I'm not going to be contactable between the hours of my mum turning off the dial up and use

I'll be right but like I whilst I'm watching TV I need to be stimulated by these three screens yeah I need my phone. Oh my god yeah

she's the worst person to watch TV with because she doesn't watch TV. The only time I can focus on something that's not like longer than three seconds is in cinema. Really?

Yeah I'll put all my focus on cinema but if I'm at home Sellotape your hands to your legs so you can't get your phone out. Yeah. I have to just keep going.

This is a really bad story but I lost my phone when I was in Barcelona. Barcelona. And I woke up. Oh, yeah. I woke up like somewhere that wasn't my hotel. And I had no phone. And I was like, how on earth?

Yeah, I was like, thankfully, I'd been around Barcelona a day before. Yeah. And tried to work out the subway and could get on the subway. In a city and you lose your phone what do you do how can you do anything I think there is a bit of a difference in fear though between like our generation and then Gen Z because like it was banged into our heads like be careful what you put online careful like don't put anything online that you wouldn't want your grandma to see or your employer and things like this yeah but the stuff i see online it shakes me to the core shaking the table oh my christ i don't know the things people confess in like you could have gone to the grave with that honestly yeah like it's a vault for you to just like just spill it all out spill all the tea

it'd be interesting to see how long you spend on your phone because my who's it that we were talking about it when i was on holiday and my friend was like oh my phone time's not bad it's like seven seven hours and i was like that's a full day's worth of work yeah a full day's worth of work on your phone and he was like maybe that is a problem no but that's actually alright let's see I want to see your screen phone times actual let's go

how'd you find it again grandma just it's the evenings that get me it's the evenings where I have to numb the pain of the day

I get why you say that. I find it like sometimes people are so obsessed with learning a photo just themselves.

No, we're just trying to centre ourself in a memory. I feel like that's a search engine i would search things on tiktok before i search things on google things do in yeah i will actually go on tiktok that explains your uh your screen time crazy what's your like favorite things about social media i can steal people's recipes i think it's the ability to see a life that's bigger than your own which i think is be seen as a negative thing, but for example, I grew up on an island where like- An island? and seen different places in the world. Just knowing there's a bit more out there than the confines of where I grew up, my hometown, is exciting.
