Starting point is 00:00:00 Come on, big nuts, put them on the table. There were times I didn't have pills for two days, I was less rabid than you, I just saw him. Tell them Steve Dave. Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Tell them Steve Dave, the PG-13 version. Because we're doing this while the store is still open. There is no BQ, but a huge plus. There is a Sunday Jeff. You?
Starting point is 00:00:58 Sunday Jeff. It's you in a minute a while. No, it's hard. It's been missing from... Everybody's been missing you from the poker table Sunday Jeff. I'm back. So everybody can back baby. We took a popular vote tell them Steve Dave and it was two against one. We kick you out for the day and it's over Sunday Jeff is in.
Starting point is 00:01:18 So so Vegas, huh? Oh, the shooting? Yeah. I only have two thoughts on it that anybody would really want to hear maybe. One. Don't count on it. I think you can easily, you don't count anyone here anything. Any of your thoughts?
Starting point is 00:01:40 I think it's easy to agree to these. One, calling people trump t agree. I think it's easy to agree to these one Calling people trump tards I'm not offended But how do people not like the the enlightened people? How do they not see that as like well? Basically, you're just replacing re with trump and calling people calling me I don't even know what you're talking about you haven haven't heard that. You haven't heard people like calling people who I guess voted for Trump, like their Trump Tards. No, I haven't heard that.
Starting point is 00:02:11 Yeah, that's, with the lady who got fired from CBS, I think that's what she had called on. She's like, hold on a second, we'll find out. Oh, okay. Okay, so what is it, your point though? My point is that do they not see that as offensive because I know they're very Concerned with offending everyone Somebody thought I thought it was offensive. They fired a lady on the news. That's that's what I mean
Starting point is 00:02:35 I think she was a newscaster. No, I think she was like an executive or something Her deeply regrettable post which I'm sure everyone has Fire oh, yeah. That's what I want. You're like, wait, can I apologize? You're like, that's not going to fucking cut it, man. It's too late. Maybe G 13. That is BG 13. Okay. So that's okay. So that that world, I'm cursed. I did. No, I, I haven't, I haven't, I haven't, I haven't last too long. It's weird. So I haven't, I haven't I haven't a last one it's weird Sunday Jeff it's I have an uncanny ability not to curse Well while we're filming comic bookman, but I can't stop myself when we're doing Tom Steve. It's so true
Starting point is 00:03:12 Right, I don't know why that is though. It's the horror. I think because I'm War of what is the world what the war of uh, you know your buddy over there across the way He's still right next to me while we're doing compilment, but I never feel the need to curse But yet it seems as soon as I'm done with CBM and if I go right to the podcast It's like I'm apps are dropping out of my mouth like flies F bombs This is not you never slept in the no beeps at all. They never call it you and I was like I don't know brother I mean I mean if I've got a half a cup done it on purpose on compliment
Starting point is 00:03:42 No knowing full well that they wouldn't use it and I've done it. But I never slipped. It's weird. But anyway, back to just patting myself on it. That's right. Pat don't do anything. It's pretty bad. It's impressive.
Starting point is 00:03:56 I gotta say to watch. She said, okay, she said that I'm not even sympathetic because country music fans are often Republican gun tutors. So you don't care that 60 people died because they might be, they might have voted differently than you. And they might own a job. I ideology and it's, let's stop with that. It's both sides which leads, which leads people who are in the middle lost.
Starting point is 00:04:26 If you're in the center, you have nobody. You have no party, you have no, nobody looking out for you, the center is an invisible place. Both sides are absolutely repulsive when something like this happens because, one side calling people, there's no sympathy for people who are innocently mowed down and any other side is just like, well, let's not talk about guns control now. It just shows you. I think I agree with that though. It's just like the bullets
Starting point is 00:04:57 have barely stopped flying and everyone's like gun control and they get all worked up about it. Why not? When is the time then? Let's know when the time is in. When's the time? Okay, two weeks or no. But let's schedule it then, because it's always never the time. If it wasn't the time after they shot all those kids in the kick, I agree. It's Andy Hook. I agree.
Starting point is 00:05:15 Then there's never a time. But this was literally, literally, dude, moments, moments after it happened. It doesn't matter. But it does matter because it's based on emotion. Nobody, everybody's basing, they's basing their opinions on emotion. And if it was a if it was a if it was a foreigner who did it, you don't think that the the right would be like, well, that's time for that travel, man. There wouldn't be that would be the right time to mention it then, right? I mean, sure is how that travel from get him handed out money and shit where's my bitch um um there there would be no doubt about it that the right side would be like would be would
Starting point is 00:05:49 start uh banging the drum for the travel ban ban the travel ban if you're bad I feel bad when I don't like disagree with you because you don't like you're ready to come after me and I'm like but I agree with you almost got you almost got to cursing ready. It is no doubt I always thought that thought that there was nothing more than that there's nothing more than Americans love more than their phones. But I was wrong. A fucking America loves their fucking guns more than they love their phones. That is without a doubt.
Starting point is 00:06:15 I mean, it is bizarre how just like you can have people mow down children and it's still like, nope, we don't want to, we don't want to change anything. Keep it status quo. Well in that situation in the the Sandy Hook shooting, I would blame more than Adam Lanzo, the guy who did the shooting, I blame his mother because this fucking you can't blame one person more if they took, they did. You're talking about a fucking guy who is clearly mentally ill and the stupid cunt of a mother. I don't care. I don't care him going x on this.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Leaves the guns within reach of this kid. I'm not locked up. If you have a kid and like I know what he wants to be like, oh my kids fucked up. But if you have a kid who's like putting newspaper over his windows and will only communicate with you through email, your kids fucked up and you need Hope for why just lock the guns up. It's just locking them up But but okay, so but you don't agree that there needs to be more Well, this guy didn't have any problems right wasn't this should be more background
Starting point is 00:07:19 When more mental you got a look into Oh, go through a spike of it. Oh, think it's a where you were you draw that line i don't i don't just again i don't disagree but where you draw the line between like alright well this person has and i don't know you've got there has to be something if you can if you can live with yourself because it would a bottom line is the n r a
Starting point is 00:07:42 owns so many fucking congressmen and women that they're nothing will ever change because of because they are so powerful I don't understand though like how does a guy get like 10 suitcases? That's what I know how do you go out there with rifles? Like they're like all those rifles put them in a gun. You put them in a suit case. Yeah, but it's not like it would be light. They're not like take a part.
Starting point is 00:08:04 Probably suitcases are on wheels. But did you really think he was gonna like last that long in a standoff that you need to tend suitcases for like that's an optimistic. He can only shoot one of it at a time anyways. What'd you need him? I don't know. You're talking about a dude whose his brain wasn't was on another. Well, that's the other thing. He always says well well they're trying to find the motive. There is no motive when you do something like that. You're not. Has there something wrong with you? But but it's people just want to know what was his reason. What was it? He's got no reason. You guys cry that though. I do believe you have to figure out what it was because it gives you need some sort of
Starting point is 00:08:39 you it's not resolution. But it's yeah, you have to be able to frame it in a way that you're like, I just need to understand. Like a terrorist is blowing up people, you're like, okay, well, it's because of his ideologies, because of this religion. A guy like this, like a lone wolf type, who, you know, despite ISIS trying to claim him or whatever, you're like, okay, well, was he crazy?
Starting point is 00:09:04 And the way crazier guy is the brother. If you watch the interviews with the actor, oh, dude, you got to watch it. He's crazy. You're fucking, it is so weird. Is he just in shock, though? No, it's like you were talking to him just like, you know, just like a buddy on the street or whatever. He's just like, the way he's no, no, no, like so much emotion, but not like crying It's like if you ask me a question. He's like looking around. He's like He's just a regular guy regular guy man. He's just like you know just just talking like just with a little enthusiasm It wasn't like it's almost like a cartoonish version of somebody lying like if you were to like be like be like
Starting point is 00:09:41 Be as cartoonish as you can about lying. It would be really now. Do you heard about the dad the father of the dude? No, he was a I know who's on the FBI's most wanted. I did hear that. Yeah, he was a bank robber. I did hear that I mean Okay, so you have some pieces and now at least the you know some things in the family I think though that like e I don't't know I think that there's probably But he was like something years old though with this guy too. It's just like why all of a sudden why why do you just like happen something snapped? But it's not like you know what it's it's not like James Hubert is a guy who like if you remember the like San Ecedro or Santa Cedro McDonald's back in the 80s was a guy who went and shot up a McDonald's.
Starting point is 00:10:26 This is a dude who like slowly broke and then went to a McDonald's with a gun. It started taking people out. To have 10 suitcases full of guns, to go to Vegas, check in, get room service, assemble your guns, make sure the fucking trigger locks are off like all that shit, like all those steps to get to a point where you're like, all right, now I'm going to start killing people.
Starting point is 00:10:50 To me is not like a break. It's a plan, you know? Why a whole tower room if you're going to kill yourself? I mean, why would you have to go out there? Yeah, if you're going to talk, get in, you've got to get on, like, and that makes up. I just think I just find it so frustrating to be a center in the center of all this and not be on either side and just to hear the rhetoric that's spewed out by both sides.
Starting point is 00:11:14 It's so like, well people are like, you shouldn't have access to machine guns. It's like, you don't even know what kind of gun a used. And I don't, I think it turned out to not be a machine gun. Machine guns are not our band. You can't even know what kind of gun he used. And I think it turned out to not be a machine gun. Machine guns are not, are banned. You can't buy a machine gun. Semi-automatic, she can't buy a one of those. You can't buy a machine gun, you need a special license. And it's like a couple,
Starting point is 00:11:32 it's a couple thousand dollars for a license. What would you need one for? What would any person need one machine gun? True. I'm not sure what the need is, but there's places that have machine guns, shoot offs, they go out in the middle of the desert and they have machine guns.
Starting point is 00:11:43 I don't care. There's no reason that anybody, any civilian should have a machine civilian should have you don't you don't use it for hunting It's not a practical weapon, but I think the thing is like I want to do it for fun. This is fun to me I don't I can't wrap my head around anybody who finds fun and guns, but I was thinking they are fun at times. I gotta tell you. Uh, Texas Tower. Who was that? I killed Charles Whitman. Charles Whitman. I would say he pretty much planned his whole brought up food. Yeah, he brought up food. Uh, well, he's the first one, right? He's the first speaker. I don't know if he's the first. I'm not. Is he the first speaker? I think in America. Yeah, I think there's the guy blew up the school. I would consider would that be
Starting point is 00:12:24 considered a spree killing? killing wait back in the 20s Yeah, no blew it up though, but not with a go not going up on what a rifle and just taking Are you saying spree because he killed his mother beforehand or his girlfriend right? What difference does it make what difference does it make? Why I said spree He's making fine distinctions between rampage spree Um, he's making fine distinctions between rampage, spree. No, I'm just saying is that it's like like stark weather and carl and fugue. They were like spree killers where it's like bang, you hit these guys and you're driving a while bang natural born killers.
Starting point is 00:12:54 Think kind of. Um, but you remember when in the summer time there was a, uh, uh, uh, congressman who was shot on a baseball field. The softball. Yeah, the guy. Yeah. Um, that dude was on TV last night going or softball field. Yeah, the guy. That dude was on TV last night going like, doesn't change my, just doesn't change my thinking
Starting point is 00:13:10 about the way things should be. And I'm like, how could it not? How? This is while it is fucking weighing them down. So he's an opposite of braids. Yeah, that's exactly what it is. I mean, money. It all comes down to money, man.
Starting point is 00:13:23 Nobody wants restrictions. If you're in the gun industry and if you're the NRA. Nobody wants to do a restrict because it all comes down to fucking money. That's more important than people's lives. But I don't know that everyone in the NRA is against, like, totally against any sort of like laws or restrictions being put in place.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Like I don't know that that's the case. There's a lot of people in the NRA. Sure, sounds. You mean NRA, remember? And I don't feel like. I don't feel like. Well, it's about the spokesman for their spokesman. Oh, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:13:54 They're never going to, yeah, they'll never say that. They'll never go like, you know what? We do need sensible. They're spokes. The people, their mouthpieces come out and you're just like, you're just like, what planet are you from? Right.
Starting point is 00:14:06 They're like planet NRA, where we're like, lobbying and making money, bitch. Yeah, planet, planet like as much cash as possible. And it doesn't matter, like it doesn't matter if a classroom of kids are mowed down, it doesn't matter. It's still nothing can change their point of view. Well, you're, they're also like, I mean, you're talking about changing a fundamental right that's a part of the Constitution.
Starting point is 00:14:32 That should not be, you know, fuck him. Yeah, but when that's written, but right, 1791, they didn't have the guns. They have the day you're in combat. Some day you're putting one bullet in. And people speak in the way they speak now So you would be also have people there was no law enforcement like there's today's people robbing your houses taking your horses It's a different. I mean they didn't have people speak to your horses. They don't be old English
Starting point is 00:14:55 Yeah, no, they don't have people taking out the first amendment the freedom of speech, you know, it's They have people speaking the way they do now. How are they speaking out the way they do now? Burning flags and the such like that. Oh, you're saying that if you repeal one amendment, what about these others? You are gonna read we've amended them before though. I know I know I got all these women voting and shit made amendments that were proper Right, it's already been changed basic things like the you know freedom of speech search and seizure All those others if you're gonna change one then it's it's inviting changing these other ones I think we know what the answer your your night. You don't want to see
Starting point is 00:15:40 Way stricter gun control tread lately. I I can say whatever you want. I'm not sure if it would stop anything. I mean, you had to, for some time it doesn't, uh, you had those people shot in England at the area on a Grande concert and England has, is very famous for its tough gun laws.
Starting point is 00:15:54 So it's France. You're not allowed to. Yeah, but I see the, some of the police don't even have guns. And meanwhile, you have, you have to see if you outlaw guns, the only people, anyone who has a gun is going to be an outlaw.
Starting point is 00:16:04 I, I, where is this, where is this one instance where You have a good see the outlaw guns the only people anyone who has a gun is gonna be an outlaw. I Where is this where is this one instance where the civilian who the guy who did have a gun? Is there any point you can point to any time any instance where a Crazed gunman had a gun and was going crazy and there was somebody who had a weapon to have a gun. I don't have any Point that out but I know where's that one time? Where that actually happened? No. I don't know off the top of my head. I'm sure there are. What about that? That LouBie's massacre. They have put it in Texas. Yeah. I'm just gonna say it. That sounds familiar. How many times do you hear on the news that somebody shot somebody coming into their house for
Starting point is 00:16:41 robbery? But you know what? It doesn't, I don't hear it on the news. It doesn't really happen. You know what? I mean, that would be the right for me to bear on. There are some places in America where by law to live there, you have to have a gun. Where? I've never seen this guy show it himself.
Starting point is 00:16:55 What town is that in? Like, if you want to live here, you have to have a gun. Yeah. Okay. Where is that? I can look it up, but it's because... I won't go ahead. The mayor, the mayor. the fucking and go look it up
Starting point is 00:17:08 I want to be a machine gun head in here. I knew it. I knew we shouldn't have a good opinion Yeah, but I don't know it's this it's a son I think you Jersey has one of the strictest gum laws in the country. They do. No, but even if you don't have people get them illegally. Well, that's that that's the problem. Like, I think I talked about this earlier on the show a different episode where some guy
Starting point is 00:17:36 was on parole or some shit and he thought that a gang was gonna fucking come and get him. So he bought an illegal gun and then his, and he tells the kids for whatever reason, don't touch these guns. They were like six and three or something on top of the refrigerator,
Starting point is 00:17:52 which they never would have known they were there probably. So of course, when the guy goes out and his wife isn't there and the kid goes up, it's the gun he shoots the other kid. Now, in a situation where it's like, all guns are illegal, that's still happening. Well, I didn't say all guns should be illegal. I believe. No, I mean, but some people fall for that.
Starting point is 00:18:09 You have to, I mean, like, you should have to go through more than what you go through now. And maybe even like on a regular link basis, you have to go for a psychedelic. I don't know what the problem is. You know, I know politicians will do that same reason they don't do drive-resilences for old people because it's like, you know, how much how many votes I'll lose? Like that's a hard, fucking stance to take. But this is a, this is a stance though that like how much blood and innocent lives have
Starting point is 00:18:35 to be lost before you would look at something like that. Like you need, I think, to have a weapon of that you need to Like what would be a good time frame like every 10 years? You've got to go for an evaluation to see if you were and can you imagine being told you're not you don't meet you You haven't you didn't pass you have to turn your gun in yeah, I if it's I mean it depends it depends on like then again, what are the What is it's like why I get the blues once in a while. It's like boom no gun for you It's like then you're restricting it and people will lie I know but there's some people though that that if they get if they get a strict enough test
Starting point is 00:19:17 You can tell you don't even if they're lying You can't get in the anger test to see how fast they get pushed and see how hard it is Crazy so that they can get off on like an insanity defense Like Kenneth Bianchi that one of the hillside stranglers tried that and then there was like one guy who was like this motherfucker's lying Like he was playing split-person. I don't know. I don't mean. I'm talking about if you're trying to lie So you can let's say in this world we live in where you have to have you have to go for every couple years to make sure you're still have to have, you have to go for every couple of years to make sure you're still deemed, what's the word deemed, competent to own a gun. You can start that playing it.
Starting point is 00:19:53 If you, you might lie to try to make yourself seem more competent, but I think that... Or you can do some damage in between the 10 years. Yeah, I know that. There's no way it's a very difficult thing this time At the same time, it's like if it doesn't mean that you're like you're not competent to own a gun because you have Anxiety like social anxiety wants like you social anxiety like I wouldn't be like he's he's a fucking incompetent He shouldn't have a gun like that wouldn't be enough I don't think I would think that you would need a professional board
Starting point is 00:20:25 of psychiatrists to come up with a criteria. Who's paying for all this shit, too? Yeah, well, I mean, my god, I mean, the anorite can fuck a pay for it. They got enough money. They don't want to. No, no, no, no. That's the exact opposite.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I can be in the dark for somebody again, because some of those evaluations are expensive. But then you're gonna get people fake. Now, people know, like, I'm going to pass inspection this year on my car. I can bring it to this garage. And for an extra 20 bucks, they'll slap a AOK sticker on it. You would start to get an environment and a thing of that. The point being, if somebody wants to own a gun, they're going to do it regardless.
Starting point is 00:20:59 I don't think so. I think there's plenty of people who like if they couldn't get it. We should be not going to go to a black market. There are just a lot of people who just would never do it. There are a lot of people who like if they couldn't get it. We should be talking about the hotel black market. They're just a lot of people who just would never do it. And there's not a lot of people who would. Those people are called criminals. Okay, where's the city? This is five, at least five cities.
Starting point is 00:21:13 Five cities, every quarter you don't only go by law. And if you don't have a gun, you can be arrested. Is it Detroit? No, I'm sure they can come. Chicago for sure. Kenisho, Georgia, Nelson, Georgia, Newcombe, Colorado, Gunbar gun barrel city, Texas and Virgin Utah. Okay. What are the reasons? What are the reasons?
Starting point is 00:21:31 A lot of the reasons I've seen for these things is that the police are so are spread so thin. Oh, so they're basically deputies? No, no, they're saying it's in order to protect yourself and or in some cases it was if we have wild animals there's no one there to take care of them put them down you'd be able to put them down if you're being attacked or something they pass these ordinances and wild animals are there in that Georgia city but what's the population of these towns too that's what I want to know see I never did you hear the Colorado has 700 people and they nuclear Colorado
Starting point is 00:22:06 new NUC LA they pass what they call the home protection ordinance in 2013 But says here they don't actually enforce it so basically they have no law enforcement It's basically left the few it sounds like spread so thin in a lot of these places because you have a sheriff and your sheriff will be patrolling like this would be like if if Mayberry existed Mayberry for to a candidate for a town that would be like you know what we mean we only have two law enforcement officers yeah so Otis would have a gun I don't know photos of a gun because it does that he didn't have an extensive criminal history of drunken disorderly and it is illegal it is illegal to avoid the barber would be would be would be carrying while he's cutting your hair
Starting point is 00:22:46 Yeah, I wouldn't Always be packing it be a far different Andy Griffith show if that was the case I don't believe so because it's it's not like they're whipping them out and everybody He's got a it's got a thigh holster on what's like I thought a shot of shotgun Yeah, I could be wrong, but I believe Ohio is an open carry state where you're allowed to go walking out in public with the gun as long as it's completely out in the open It is like that too. I thought you don't think though that if you're watching a television show and every single character is carrying a gun You don't think that like I did watch that it was called Marcos But if you're what I mean, you don't think it would change the flavor of the show if like if especially a light harder show like that if every
Starting point is 00:23:26 Singular Every single character has a gun And they're not using it. There's just in every scene every character has a gun on I think if it was in every scene like that and not really Addressed it would just sort of like Big or gun smoke wow I don't know so I How do you have all those westerns back to the end. Everyone always has a gun on it. To me, it feels like one of those ordinances that's like, you can't walk a horse down down Main Street on Sunday between the hours of one and three kind of laws.
Starting point is 00:23:54 Like, I'm never going to enforce that law that every resident must have a gun. I don't know. It said the ones said that they don't enforce it. So if we're at least that one town, they don't probably don't enforce it by the sound of it. There's also a second thing. You said you want don't enforce it. So if at least that one town, they don't probably, they don't enforce it by the sound of it. There's also, what was the second thing? You said you want to say two things. Well, the first one, yeah, the first one was the Trump. The Trump. Now, as a, do you, as a father of a retarded girl? No, but I can show you that.
Starting point is 00:24:18 So I was not going to say that. But I was going to say as somebody who's, who deals with special needs. Family member, does that, I know you don't get it. I don't think you get offended, but you get angry at things. Yeah, I don't get offended. I get angry. This is not something that makes me angry. I just think there's a hypocrisy there. Where people are so fucking like up on you about the word you use and what you say. then they're like to calm trump cards Like it's nothing like if you refer to someone as a him
Starting point is 00:24:49 What you was just assumed are a gender and and they get so upset over it and then meanwhile they're calling someone Retard and there's supposed to be a retard Trump tart, but it's it's a good it's that's what you are It's a combination of two words Trump tart. And the second thing the second thing is the I I'm not a Trump fan. I think it's like from the outside. It's amazing to watch a Persons we're talking about the story. It's like a sitcom. We're not even a sitcom. It's like a skit a guy who will Yeah, like if you were like it's the world's worst president on snl it'd be like you would his presence it would be what he said his attitude is demeanor
Starting point is 00:25:33 oh my god like him him tweeting something about like warmest condolences is like it's hard to believe this guy has an ounce of warmth in him. You know, like he, we were talking about the paper tell chuck and the way he's throwing it, it's just like, you're not, if you're out there like pressing the flesh and shit, like you're kissing baby or you're like shaking hands, but this is his version of it. Yeah, he doesn't know how to be empathetic and convey compassion.
Starting point is 00:26:02 It hasn't been prepaid. Which I guess is not, which throughout history has been an important aspect of what we've expected from our leaders and times of like... Like Obama, Obama tweeted something and you're like, I believe that guy. I believe it's heartfelt. It's heartfelt. You feel like it's heartfelt.
Starting point is 00:26:19 It may not be, it may just be political. It's a good question. But you know what though? But you know, he doesn't undo the damage then a couple hours later by tweeting something like going after somebody for, you know, that something should be better. He shouldn't be threatening. He was the, I believe that should be shut down as tweet.
Starting point is 00:26:36 I believe Obama was the first president that had Twitter, right? Because I think Clinton was the first one that had email, and he only said like two. So what happened with that? He only said two emails during that. He said some bad emails. No, Clinton, he said. No, Bill Clinton was the first one that had email and he only sent like two. So what happened with that? He only sent two emails during no clint. He sent some bad emails. No, Clinton, he said. No, Bill Clinton was first person. No, not Hillary.
Starting point is 00:26:49 But he only sent two during his whole entire time in the office. Oh, yeah. Yeah. That's interesting. Like one was to the space shuttle and I forget what the other one was to probably have Monica Bernadress. Hillary Clinton is fucking amazing where you're like,
Starting point is 00:27:00 you watch her and you look at the people that are like still ardent Hillary supporters and someone who it within one tweet Door as like right after it happens is like let's not politicize this But can you believe the NRA wants to wants to want to legalize Silencers which would make it harder for people to hear the gunshots and more people would have been killed It's like you're totally speculating and you're You're contradicting yourself in the same tweet. Yeah, but that thing that he used though,
Starting point is 00:27:30 that thing to make it an automatic. That's crazy. That's kind of crazy. It's kind of crazy. That's crazy. That's crazy. I thought it was like a hellfire trigger where it'll turn. The recoil, it does is it just like a recoil.
Starting point is 00:27:42 It's like a recoil. Now this is a bump, it clicks on and then the recoil makes your finger hit it Supposedly quicker. I from what I heard I thought he was using sometimes they have the It's almost like a gambling. Well the hellfire trigger is something you put right on the trigger guard And it spins and and what it does it'll keep hitting the trigger for you But then you have to have magazines that are how does the NRA justify that a piece of equipment? Well, the bunker I know is legal because your finger is still on the trigger. It's nothing, nothing else is hitting the trigger except for your finger. What's the purpose to have it? Yeah. What would be the purpose to have? I'm not sure.
Starting point is 00:28:17 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. Maybe it's your leg. It could be, I mean, look, technically they could be like, well, it's for sportsmanship. Like if you have to like, every see like people that like they ski, I don't know, I can't remember what this is. Oh, by the way, but that's a fire. They're shot and target so as they're. But those are 22's. Those are 22. And they only shoot one shot. And those are sports no one cares about.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Right. So like, let's not, let's not sit there and try to say, well, these people need this. These athletes who do this sport need this. If they're, the America doesn't care about that sport, you know we need a devil's advocate at this table at all times. Like, if I just agree with everything you say, I'm just telling you. But I like, it's like, stop, just stop with the body.
Starting point is 00:28:59 I'm just gonna shit, yeah, everybody. And like I said, there's like, for people who aren't right or left, who are in the center, is a mad world man. It I said, there's like for people who aren't right or left who are in the center It's a mad world man. It's a world that's like two sides that are both like I'm right and I'm saying and and you're like No, you're not like neither of you watching you watching two mad dogs go at each other and destroy try to destroy each other every single day of every every destroy, try to destroy each other every single day of every every every minute of every single day. And for people who aren't, who aren't like aligned with either side or just like, what do they do? How do they just go about their day? You just got to be like,
Starting point is 00:29:36 fuck it. Just turn it off and be like, because because nobody in a center will ever ever win. Nobody in the center will ever control anything. You're fucking Switzerland, man. Nobody, you either got a fucking like commit to a side or fuck you. But the thing that gave everybody, I think, I think a lot of people hope was the fact that an outsider won. And it still gives you, maybe there's a chance that not this guy but maybe in the future in the future Maybe there will be an outsider who can win who's not you know
Starting point is 00:30:11 A walking fucking who wasn't trying to dig up his fucking Jewish heritage and use it against him in the fucking elections like Larry did the party Just an outsider to get in who's not who doesn't have ties to Everybody who's boys everybody who's well every fucking person is bought and paid for man I feel like I'm sure he's not that with business, but I feel like Trump is that I'm talking about all the congressmen All the congresswomen. They're all bought and paid for every one of them. You know, you might like if you watch at house of cards House of cards is pretty interesting
Starting point is 00:30:44 You know what you might like if you watch at House of Cards. House of Cards is pretty interesting Has space Kevin Spacey in it and Essentially, it's about this guy who is like a Senate whip or whatever and eventually becomes the The president spoil arts It's pretty interesting to watch like all that slimy Washington shit go on and like people who are like hey, man Attach this to your fucking
Starting point is 00:31:13 Whatever you're this bill or next time I'm not gonna vote for it. Yeah, it's so A bunch of drunks this heartening the botrous scum bags. Yeah, I mean there's like it's like politicians and lawyers are They're very they are hard to pass for human at time Have you ever have you heard of a tray Gaudi? He's I think he's a senator and What a part of that name, yeah, remember you should watch some of his videos on you They're not his but it's like videos of him on YouTube. They call it like Gaudi porn because he will dismantle anyone using logic in like less than 60 seconds. It's fun to watch somebody go in there like not as prepared as him and just watch them destroy them.
Starting point is 00:31:56 Because usually it's some bullshit and he's like like this is nonsense. Like he's very practical and in his approach and stuff. Are you a fan of his or you're saying he's just like to like, I like him. What, who is he representing? I think, I can't remember what state it is. It wouldn't really, it doesn't affect us, but it's just interesting to watch somebody, like a politician be like, this is bullshit.
Starting point is 00:32:21 Here's why it's bullshit, the fuck out of here. Trey Gaudi, American attorney, politician, he's an attorney and a politician. Oh my God. A former prosecutor. So you know, he's, uh, for justice. Man, are all prosecutors for justice? That's a no, even a bigger question. Well, sometimes you see some of shit prosecutors do. You're like, oh my god, you're worse than the criminal man Yeah, you're like making shit up your hiding evidence. All kinds of what they do He says I like it like a Carolina. He's a US representative for South Carolina
Starting point is 00:32:53 I know, but what is he a Republican or Democrat Republican? All right, man. I don't want to talk about it Well, I didn't get to my second point. Oh, you did make your second point. Yeah, I'm like Trump's an idiot But as as as disgusting as Trump is, honestly, I think more disgusting are people who tweeted that they're happy that people who voted for Trump because of course, everyone at this concert did were killed. There were so many tweets from people that you saw like good. That's CBS exact. Well, she said that there are probably Trump fans because they listen to country music. Right. Yeah, or Trump voters or whatever. Listen to country music. It's so gross.
Starting point is 00:33:39 It's fucking disgusting. I read that shit. That made me mad. That makes me mad. Like and it doesn't matter. If it's a if it's country music or fucking like nobody would say that if it was rap where it's like, hey man, they probably didn't vote because it's a bunch of fucking black people. So who carries if they got killed. What the fuck that like what is wrong with you? I mean, it's terrible, but it's getting to the point that what's making me just as angry to hear people go, are thoughts and prayers, are hopes and prayers. I'm sort of, I'm sort of, I'm sort of here and about because it became like, it became a show. Did you see that, Jusslnick, a bit about that?
Starting point is 00:34:14 No. He comes out and he says the reason he was, Anthony Jusslnick is a comedian. It's a comedian. And he's like, the reason people do that is because they want you to remind you that they're there. Like, something bad happened, but hey, I'm still here and I have something to say about this. Like, no, the thoughts and prayers
Starting point is 00:34:27 are doing nothing for these people. People who are gone and the people who are, who are now have to live their lives with unimaginable injuries and we're going to carry this with them. I mean, you're not just the people who got fucking shot. Think about that ripple effect of like, oh my god, my uncle, my grandfather, my mom,
Starting point is 00:34:49 like I read the list of people who got killed. It's like this lady worked with special needs kids. It's like this girl just graduated high school and she's going to college. It's like these people deserve to die why because they fucking, they may have voted for somebody that you didn't vote for. Which is your right.
Starting point is 00:35:06 Yeah. Their only crime was liking country music enough to go to a concert in Vegas. That was it. That's I don't, I don't understand how anybody could be that idle, idle, ideology could be so strong that they, they lose their humanity. They lose their lost in their, they're lost in their ideology. they lose their humanity. They lose their lost in their ideology, their humanity. Well, they're antifa posses. They're the same way. Like, you see the antifa fags and you're like, these guys are all fucking skinny little
Starting point is 00:35:35 mother fuckers who wear masks. These are the fucking guys who got bullied in high school. And now that they're in a big group, they can turn around and fucking fight. I don't even know what this is. These are the ultra liberal fucking people who are always rioting and shit. Oh, no. I'm not saying that. So they were hand out flyers now at their protest. Anti-fascist is what it.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Yeah. They hand out protest telling people not to take pictures of the, like, depressed media not to take pictures of them because it may endanger them by taking photos of them. They should be endangered. If you're wearing a mask and you're punching people, which I know is like the new thing where it's like punch and Nazi, but Nazi has the definition of Nazi. Their definition of Nazi.
Starting point is 00:36:18 They're a broad. It's like where like the slightest fucking conservative belief will will brand you. If you don't agree with them, you're not see. Even that's I'm talking about. There's no room. There's no, where do you go if you're not on either side, though? What do you do? You just come to the SD town man.
Starting point is 00:36:42 Where do you go? Where do you go? I mean, it's just population's been growing. It's a terrible, BSD town man. Where do you go? Where do you go? I mean, it's just... Population's been growing. It's a terrible, terrible feeling to not be aligned with either side because you... I don't know. You know what? You know it isn't a terrible thing.
Starting point is 00:36:57 It's disheartening. I'll tell you a while. Oh, a Casper. And that is a Casper mattress. That is an awesome... It's all like a... It's all like a... It's all like a... It's all like a... There is sleep brand that created an outrage softness mattress in the world. There is sleep brand that created an outrageously comfortable mattress, sold directly to
Starting point is 00:37:09 consumers, eliminating commission driven inflated prices. It's award-winning sleep design was developed in-house. They have the mattress industry for too long, have forced consumers into paying notoriously high markups. Not get them so much. They forced, they forced nothing on him. Casper is revolutionizing the mattress industry by cutting the cost of dealing with, I mean, did they really, I guess for mattresses, they did. I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, I've, down on some of the sponsors. So without a doubt I can say wholeheartedly this is one of the few sponsors that I can say like I love this product. I purchased this product.
Starting point is 00:37:56 I purchased multiple Casper mattresses at least for now. Planning and approved. Yeah, the things you you're doing. You got that kind of money. You don't build pillow forts anymore. You let your, it's build mattress all sorts. They're not, but they're sleeping on their case. You can pull up and see how to buy your car. Yeah, they'll push it to the ceiling. His daughters are princesses. There's like a pee at the bottom of a 20 Casper.
Starting point is 00:38:16 Yeah. Yeah. My girls deserve a mat. They deserve a Casper mattress. I mean, I didn't, I mean, to their white. I mean, come on. Oh, man, I'm like, that's what you're supposed to do for your kids. I didn't have a Casper grown up. I'm sure you didn't have a Casper grown. I mean, I didn't, I mean, to their white, I mean, come on. Oh man, I'm like, that's what you're supposed to do for your kids.
Starting point is 00:38:26 Like, I didn't have a Casper grown up. I'm sure you didn't have a Casper grown up, Jeff. But that's what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to make your children's lives are supposed to be better than your life, the way you live, right? That's what you're supposed to do. You want my child to be a actress?
Starting point is 00:38:36 I was in determined and origin. I just remember it always being there. And always being a kind of springy, you know? In fact, it may have been a box spring. I don't even know if it was a mattress. I mean, I tell my wife when she was like, are you sure you want to buy the girls these high-end mattresses? And I'm like, what are we, some volume? I go first off, it's not, it feels high-end, but it doesn't cost high-end. Right. And they deserve it. It's like, my man. Can you come out for a
Starting point is 00:39:01 month or a year? The cash per? When you say that? Literally. What's a code? That's the most important thing. I know. The code is really what we're all about, which is, okay, you're going to get $50 towards any mattress purchase by visiting www.casper.com slash TSD. Use the promo code TSD. It's obsessively engineered. It's given to you at a shockingly fair price. So if you use the promo code TESD, what do you get again? You're gonna get $50 towards any mattress purchase. That is good. And I know a lot of it's not a purchase people make on a weekly basis. So if anybody happens to need a mattress, or is looking to upgrade their mattress,
Starting point is 00:39:44 we do appreciate it if you use the code and... And even if you don't know it. I try it. If you just try it, I think, you know, we'll leave it again. You don't have 100 nights. You don't have even, yeah, man. Like you can just get it for 100 nights,
Starting point is 00:39:55 use and send it back. No, I don't think you're gonna want to send it back. But I'm not saying do it. If you're in the market for a mattress, you're gonna go into the... Try it at least. If you can afford the mattress originally, like you're gonna be like, I'm keeping it. it. If you're in the market for a mattress, you're gonna go into try it at least. If you can't afford the mattress originally, like you're gonna be like, I'm keeping it.
Starting point is 00:40:08 It's pretty sweet. So I'd rather be in debt. I'd rather have people call on me. There's been times when I'm at work when I actually think about my mattress. I know that sounds like a lie. I know that sounds crazy. I'd like to see people who work
Starting point is 00:40:21 with me, I would usually be told. I'm like, I go, oh man, I can't wait to get home. And let's say I want something on the DVR that I say, that I want to watch a episode of, I'm like, I'm going to get, I mean. Save different 1972. And I'm going to watch that Colombo on my Casper. And I know it's going to be a good evening.
Starting point is 00:40:39 Pull my hat on, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come, come,. Right. So yeah, even though you appear annoyed by your decision at this point, you want to get them to sit down. Yeah, because we were talking about something today. I want to bounce it off so they Jeff because he's a fan. Oh, I got something else to it. Please remind me. Go ahead. No, no, no, I want to hear yours first.
Starting point is 00:40:57 Yeah, all right. That's a good idea. Favorite band growing up? It was probably kiss. Okay. I would have to concur. Favorite band growing up kiss. I still remain a kiss fan. But it becomes harder and harder every day to be a kiss fan when you see some of the things that they're announcing. Get them hyped me today or not hype me by the what's the word?
Starting point is 00:41:25 Clude me in on them. And you were before one in an hour. Yeah, Gene Simmons. I feel like it's Mike Clude me in. So Gene Simmons is now offering, get him, explain to him what Gene Simmons is now offering. Without offering so many irrelevant details all the time, who gives a fuck if Mike told you?
Starting point is 00:41:39 Like where you got the information does not matter. Mike Bixiple's stupid, yes. Yes. Or come. It is a thing called the vault. Like where you got the information does not matter my principle stupid yes It is a thing called the vault it is a 150 Previously unreleased studio sessions with Gene Simmons and famous songwriters and Some kiss some kiss band members are also on these songs 150 150 songs that span 50 years of his life. Comes in a real vault, like looking thing, I don't know if it's me, I'm not sure if that's 38 pounds. I'm not sure if that's for every tier.
Starting point is 00:42:17 Cause you get a vault. Okay, you get a vault. Okay, definitely. It's 10 CDs in the vault. You get a little figurine of a gene. You get book at that's how many pages 150 pages. It said it was 160 pictures and 50,000 words It's a different actually says it looks like an old tiny safe kind of What I'm saying yeah little little thing of gene the the CDs it looks like a medallion like a challenge. Yes, you get a medallion You get a medallion with that
Starting point is 00:42:41 like a challenge. Yes, you get a medallion, you get a medallion with that. Do you, since you seem like you know what I'm talking about, do you know the price tag? I know that I think there's also a one where he'll actually personally deliver it to you if I'm... Do you know the price tag of the personally? Well, there's different tiers. Do you have buy-mins? How much is just, I couldn't even say, but I'm saying, how much is just for the vault?
Starting point is 00:43:03 The regular one that you could possibly buy I don't know if these are strictly limited online or these actually going to be you know How many are they limited to each one? We don't know the exact limited number There's at least 500 at least 500 from from what we've Gleamed from the website That are just basically just there's 500 vaults. He's produced 500 vaults Limited for for a catch fan. That's got nothing to do with him.
Starting point is 00:43:29 Yes, the lowest here, just to own the vault on the book on this 10 CDs, own little figurine on the Madagascar. No, I would say probably about five grand. You forgot that you can you can pick it up if he's performing in within 500 miles of you He will hand it to you if you go to the concert or wherever is that a extra fear now? No, that's covered under the lowest here It's too grand okay To grand then you can then you he'll come to your house for five grand, right? No 50,000 50,000
Starting point is 00:44:00 $50,000 you will come to your house and deliver and spend two hours with you $50,000 you will come to your house and deliver it and spend two hours with you. Which 25 of your friends he will sign two items each person. No, no instruments whatsoever. He will answer questions. You have to provide the entertainment like the food and the drinks. What else was there? Oh, you get like a t-shirt. What do you think of that, darling? Well, there's also another tier for those people who don't have the 50. And you're allowed, you're guaranteed to get one of the first 300 vaults. For 25,000, you can purchase the producer experience. And what you're given, exclusive studio time with Simmons in addition to access more, in
Starting point is 00:44:39 addition to access to more unreleased recordings. Which is a second vault. Second vaults. access to more unreleased recordings, which is a second volume. Second volumes. I mean, so I'm glad you came here today because I've got, because Gidham and I are ready to put in how much can I count on you. We're going to all go in on the vault to get the, there's the $2,000 one so we can get the song because I really want to hear them. Can I count on you for at least a thousand? No. $1,000 one so we can get the song because I really want to hear him. Can I count on you for at least a thousand? No
Starting point is 00:45:06 No You lost the I would say probably after 500 can I get 500 no what come on you what can I count what can you put into this? I'm trying to get a whole bunch of people together to buy at least do 150 bucks That's what it would cost on iTunes right can you do 150? Oh? No, I mean like a it would cost on iTunes, right? Can you do 150? Oh, they're gonna rule it. No, it's never gonna want to. I mean like a song like a song would cost a dollar. Yeah. So even if it was 300 twice as much since I wouldn't give
Starting point is 00:45:31 any money. Yeah. Well, if you want to hear the song, you're going like you're touring it, right? No. It's because you're not making legitimate, I mean, stuff that you know should have been and he's probably got a lot more than this Why wouldn't you release this to everybody who's able that's the difference between him and other people So I want you there's a there's a definitely what reason why well we know the reason why I don't think it's money Don't what's the reason I think he I think he sees the way the world is the way it's structured today He cannot put this out and make the
Starting point is 00:46:05 same amount of money he can do it this way because of a torrents, because of the internet. See, I think the opposite. But can't you turn it anyway? Yeah, but it's something that's going to have to pay it to him. Someone's still going to have to give him the money for it. Yeah, but one person gets this, then there's a bet you got to sign a contract that you can't give it away. How many contract you signed every time you've got a contract anyway.
Starting point is 00:46:23 Like when you buy something, the FNI is basically- So then he'll be able to take you to court anyway like when you buy something the F. No Is basically so then he'll take he'll be able to take you to court I bet you and sue you if for lost revenue absolutely, but I mean he could do that with any other song too Right, but he's personally giving it to you. You're probably gonna sign a mountain of paperwork And he's gonna know every single person dollar ones though. Yeah, like they're mailed the two thousand dollars No $2,000 like if he's performing like a MetLife If he is, but how the fuck do you get it if he's not then they'll will mail it to you. Okay, all right All right, so yeah, I bet you still got a lot of money. I bet you're still gonna have to agree to a whole bunch of stipulations That you will never release this on the internet, but everybody agrees to strip it stipulations all the time
Starting point is 00:47:00 As soon as you buy a CD or a video disc. It's it's an or anything you agree by purchasing it that you're not going to do those things Is that true? Yes, it's really it's right. Why do you think they put it on the on the on the back of the music at any CD Get any DVD blue rates as piracy war on that you agree to doing this Those commercials in front of the movies like you wouldn't download a car the FBI warning I could wait a minute. Wait a minute. So It's not why aren't they, why isn't that enforced then? They try, but it's very, very tough to do it because to track down an individual person for doing it, it takes a, okay, there's the key.
Starting point is 00:47:37 He will be able to track, since so few of these will be sold, he will be able to track it down. I bet you each, each vault has something in it that will, he will show him if it's pirated, who track it down. I bet you each each vault has something in it that will he will show him if it's pirated. Who put it online? Kind of like a script where they write your name across the pages. So if you... Yeah, I bet you there's something that you won't know what it is, but there's something that will identify who put it up, whoever purchased it. I bet I guarantee you. But you know what? There are people that are way smarter and better at that kind of shit than him or whoever he hires They'll be able to strip it of whatever protection it has and no not protection
Starting point is 00:48:12 Even a even a personally identifiable like the CDs are already made so it's not like they I mean you can watch movies that are in the theater right now the day they come out you can watch it different though You're you're limiting your you're giving your right now the day they come out you're different though you're you're limiting you're giving your the client base is so tiny you will be able to track the vault to who put it online though they do that with screener copies for a lot of the little hotwood movies they put and I guarantee you won't even know what it is like if you're putting it on you're putting it on there'll be something maybe one word is different something it will be identifiable that you won't be able to remove
Starting point is 00:48:47 because you won't know what it is to remove unless you buy two. Give it 25 bucks for the digital download. What digital download? See, I also think there are a lot of kids fans who do pony up the money. Well, they'd be like, hey, they're like, well, why should I put it on loan? I had to pay for it. Why am I going to give it to everybody? Okay, listen, I haven't heard a single fucking song that's on there. Okay? They could be all shit songs.
Starting point is 00:49:08 They could be songs that are revamped and just remixed. Look, he put out that destroyer. He remixed destroyer. That's my reason why I wouldn't buy it. Why? Did you listen? Have you listened to that remix? I don't think it's bad. You want me to download it? It's just the same thing. It's bad. Want me to download it? It's the same thing. It's just like tourning it as we speak. It's terrible. It's terrible. But wait a minute. Why are you assuming like this is this? He said it's songs. He's written since he was 14 years old. And they're on Jewish. I mean, they know that he breath songs. Who knows? There's a rock. There's a preview on the website. We were listening to it. There are rock songs. They're not folk songs. They're not like he breath songs. It's like a song in school. We could lester. I mean, it's just a make there 150 songs that have never been released. And you're
Starting point is 00:49:49 telling me your favorite band growing up you can't even pony up a hundred bucks for it. When I was growing up, I'm older now. Why is it? Do you buy that? You've listened. How was I? We had to take your words for it that your wiser Wow, I think you're I didn't meet you young. I think if Jack has to leave you let your older If Jack I am I'm not buying now your wiser if Jackson's I want to discount copy for 50 bucks. He's buying it 50 bucks 50 bucks. Are you really put it 50? I'll put it 50 bucks. I put you down for 50 I'll put I'll put it in the store on Sunday. He'll be coming in from I think It's basically a no-one I put and how much can I put you down for again I'm a hundred
Starting point is 00:50:32 I don't even like this. Can you name one kiss on? Oh? My god, forget about it. Oh I'm reading this game. I can put name one so that dynasty What I put you a guy I I count you in for a hundred? Sure he literally cannot name one song The vault Well see this was my this was my theory was trying up these legal papers for this shared ownership Yeah, did you check with Jean maybe maybe can only if this can only be assigned to one person?
Starting point is 00:51:04 They can't they can't regulate that they can't they can't regulate that Oh, they can't regulate that There's no possible way, but they can regulate that downloading stuff on the internet here was my theories that 200 fans would come in They put in $10 each ban they buy the thing they form an LLC And that's where they buy the evolved through and then they put it up online. There's no way to go after them individually Well, like copying it making me a copy, it's illegal. A corporation, yeah, is treated like an individual. So it could technically own, I guess.
Starting point is 00:51:34 And but you could see the corporation, but under an LLC, from what I understand, let it lie, the legal corporation, you can't go after the individual people. Well, basically, you're circumventing. Yeah, that many people in there, you're circumventing it rather than one person spending it now Okay, we're getting it and I'm scum giving it to 25 other people. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, I think that's charging
Starting point is 00:51:51 How are you gonna share with all these people? Because if you bought in you could share if you can't give it to anybody who didn't buy into us Right, so what are you gonna do just have it here at the vaults in the store? I'm gonna come and throw it on Mike. It's like a time I'm gonna hear this sex you can have the discs I'm in throw it on Mike. It's like a time show. I'm gonna hear this six. You can have the discs. You can have the discs, but you have to promise me that you won't give him
Starting point is 00:52:08 white anybody. No, but I'm saying, how are you gonna listen to it though? You can play on your compact display. Right, but I'm saying, how would you listen to it? Somebody would have to make a good deal. He's gonna have to download in your iTunes.
Starting point is 00:52:17 He's gonna rip him onto my iTunes. Okay, that's the same thing. No, it's like a time share. You get to listen to it. I don't have to do that. I don't have to do that. As long as I don't share it, I can do that. Yeah, but basically like that's me if I bought the sheet Hey here you go. What burn this in your burn? That's that's the same thing. It's really the same thing
Starting point is 00:52:31 No, you didn't sell it you didn't give you didn't you're not selling it but you're preventing a sale You didn't buy it now. I gave you a copy. I never bought it. It's like going to the library They have all these I think I think Gene has to realize though that oh now just gonna happen That's probably gonna happen. You're putting a price tag like that on it I think that's why he's putting the price tag on I think it's it's not just happening It's encouraging it to be also said to like 25 of your friends can come to the party He realizes that he's probably as fan base doesn't have two thousand dollars to one person doesn't have two thousand dollars He I think he so he wants 25 people to have $2,000.
Starting point is 00:53:06 Exactly. So why are you pricing it so high? Price it so your fans can afford it. I think it's enough for you to be good enough for it. And my opinion, I think this is a big middle finger to the internet. I think it's a big middle finger to his fans. Do you?
Starting point is 00:53:20 Do you see Paul doing this shit? Nobody ever knew. Do I think it's a finger to the internet? What is Peter and Ace get out of this? All right, here's the situation There's like a lawyer Scraining irrelevant who the fuck cares You I would ask your opinion is bike off
Starting point is 00:53:39 Wait give it get give it our dollars first before you turn it off name one song that was on destroyer Give it get give it $1 first before you turn it off name one song that was Descrier Next time remember that like you could be like hey kisses offering a vault Can you just read the article and I'll do that? But if if test it's a it tell Steve day decided for they're gonna sell the the Christmas special yes for $2,000 and for $50,000, they you the podcast of your house. Yeah. You come to their. You might be on something. Sign some things. Do you think that would be a big middle finger to the internet or to the Tom C. Dave Ants?
Starting point is 00:54:15 I think I think in our case, it would be to our our our listener base would feel that that was a big FU. But I don't I think James doing something. I think it's different though. I think he's been I Think he's had a lot of lost sales Since the advent of the you think so yes Before the how many fucking greatest hits and albums have they put out want to talk about lost sales How many good come on big nuts put them on the table How many fucking greatest hits have they made up even the box set There was only like ten songs on that box set. That's why I bought the box set to listen to stuff That wasn't available. You're screwing your fans your loyal fans listen making better. Be like this. You're wrong
Starting point is 00:54:58 I'll tell you why you're wrong He has gone on record and said I it's not worth it to me to record new material because it goes immediately on the internet because nobody cares about his new material. It sucks But that's the reason why he said it's not worth it. It's not worth the money to record new material. That's why you keep seeing greatest hits Look yeah, yeah bands like Led Zeppelin pink Floyd just put out a box set of Zeppelin Pink Floyd just put out a box set of tons hundreds of songs it's $500 It's a song. No, I'm not I'm not I'm a Lee Pink Floyd, but I don't need to listen to all those songs Okay, but I'm saying at least it's somewhat affordable Did you know did you download it? No, I think okay, but I think that I think that since the the rise of the internet and the and the torrent mentality I bet you I bet, it's millions of dollars
Starting point is 00:55:48 in Los Angeles. But that's not for him. He's this. I mean, it's for everybody. It's every artist. You know, even making new music anymore. Right, but it doesn't matter though. What does it matter if it's new music or old music
Starting point is 00:56:00 that's getting pirated? What I'm saying is, look, you had all these loyal fans, your whole entire life, you know, you wanted the best? Give the best, you know? Give the fans something that you have to give the vault. But he's allowing it only for people who can afford it. Most of them saying, there's tons of kiss fans, tons of kiss fans.
Starting point is 00:56:20 I mean, you're talking about a guy also that at the, another thing that I started facing away that I don't like like is that you go into the rock and roll hall of fame and you want the current lineup to go to the rock and roll hall of fame and you don't play a song? Come on man you wonder why I don't like kiss anymore. Oh you don't like it anywhere? No! Oh so you definitely aren't gonna be in on it. 50 bucks I'll still give you. I mean I'd like to hear the old songs I'm not gonna give Gene $20,000 $50 give you. I mean, I'd like to hear their old songs. I'm not gonna give Gene $20,000, $50,000. $15 dollars is worth this carry on. But I'm saying I haven't listened to any songs, but I'm saying you know there's tons
Starting point is 00:56:51 and tons of material that Kisses put out that's never been out to the public. Give your fans a nice box set. $200, $300. It's something that's affordable to all your fans. Give them. With the pictures and everything. Just give them like, you know, because but he knows that if he puts it in that, if he, if he puts it out to
Starting point is 00:57:11 consumption for public consumption that way, it's going to go right to the internet. But I think, but I will say this, I think his oil fans, oil fans, if you're a dead, if you're a die hard question, you bought the box, I bought the box, that if you're a die hard fan, you want that, you want the extra material. Yeah, like that book, you bought the box, I bought the box, if you're a diehard fan, you want that. You want the extra material. Yeah, like that book, with the pictures you can.
Starting point is 00:57:29 You want the book, you can't really talk. You want the history book in there. You want like that's what I love, when I bought the albums, you had love gun, you had the gun in there, you had the tattoo. I know it is still glossing over the fact though that like,
Starting point is 00:57:40 but that happens with anything. I feel like you're stuck on like, it's not worth it. Yeah, it's not worth it. But, but you're not like you're not looking at his his business plan and and and seeing that like I think it's done solely to circumvent people from uh, torning it. This could be the wave of the future for all of us. Well, then nobody's ever gonna buy music. Everybody's like, how much is that? Well, but again, physical media is going to be something
Starting point is 00:58:12 of the past, unless you're a collector of media. You know, there are going to be items that are going to be priced, not that fucking ridiculous, but I'm saying, I'm sure most people today are digital downloads. They don't care. They want Netflix. They don't care about any of this. And nobody really cares about the physical, the many more. You're seeing it.
Starting point is 00:58:30 Right, but like it, but Netflix, so people are paying for it though. But how much are you paying for Netflix a month? It doesn't matter. As long as you're paying what Netflix is asking, that's all that matter. But she is not releasing it because people are just going to take it. Well, then maybe they should make a music flex.
Starting point is 00:58:47 I think that's called iTunes, right? It's called iTunes Radio. So do the same thing. People are still by right. So something that you can still digital, you digital download anything, you download a CD. You can put that on the internet in thousands and thousands of things. I think this is just, this is, we don't see Jean as a victim of crime though. This is just a victim of decades of crime now acting and trying to...
Starting point is 00:59:13 He's not enough, he's not going to take it anymore. It's like I'm to Jennifer Lopez and I can't... Victim of crime. You don't think so? You want to talk about the most vague is you victim of crime. A guy has millions of fucking dollars every fucking day. You know, you're a victim of crime. You're a person. No fucking dollars every fucking day. You know, you're victim of crime. You're a person.
Starting point is 00:59:26 No, no, he's falling into like he has enough money. Jean doesn't need more money. Could you imagine if somebody decided that for you, they're like, son of a Jeff's got enough money. Why is he using that? Oh, if I had a couple of man, I'd be fine with it. Of course you would.
Starting point is 00:59:39 Yeah, most people would be. But if you could make more and somebody's putting a restriction on that being like, who cares if somebody steals Sunday Jeff's Like you're you're you're you're you're you can make stuff right like you painted a statues for me Yeah, you're good at that. What if like somebody just started like taking your statues being like fuck on He's got enough money doesn't need to sell these statues. Yeah, that probably wouldn't happen. Yeah, nobody's gonna I don't have to worry about that. I'm not no gene. I'm trying to draw an analogy between you. I don't know what happened to gene. I'm out. I tell you what happened though
Starting point is 01:00:11 The internet they stole your love they stole his they stole millions from them But it's not just them. How many I know the Beatles rolling stuff? But you don't see you know again Why is it this has been an ongoing thing for how many years about piracy? Right, but he's just making he's just trying to find an enderan. How would you stop piracy though? How can you stop piracy on a planet? I think he's in plan is maybe the way to this is the first. We'll see how many of you cells. That's the key.
Starting point is 01:00:42 I'll tell you about 500 people versus like God knows how many millions of people are kiss fans right? Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Why you live in America basically you're limiting your your fan base to 500 people at A millions of people at kiss fans who you know not everybody's kind of millions of dollars and thousands of dollars to spend on your And but look I love kiss you know, I love kiss No, I'm just saying as know, it is just like... No, I'm just saying, as a fan, and like, this is what you do to me. You have to make 500 pieces. And he's saying the same thing back to you.
Starting point is 01:01:13 What did you, what did you people do to me? What did I do? I put you in an album from when you fucking came out. That's what I did. I supported you. When there was no internet. I bought your albums. I bought your records. I bought your your t-shirt I boy your greatest hits six times I bought six alive albums and they got the same for Re-doctor and every alive album nobody screams like that and shout out at a show you ever listen to your live album
Starting point is 01:01:39 What about the public relation backlash of him's doing a fan? I mean looking what now he seems to care Yeah, I think it's more, okay, you may have done that for him in the 70s, but what have you done for him lately? I did it to him, he's too. What have you done for him lately? I love being a friend of mine too for that. You know?
Starting point is 01:01:55 Didn't when you see how band members are treated, then you see how the money, how the true dollar signs in the eyes. Didn't he, didn't he, what was it called now? Did the trademark the money back? Didn't the money? Okay. He tried to. He's got to recoup all the fucking what is the hell? The recoup the internet. The internet stole that mother's eye from him. You don't see the rolling stones and then it's recuperating. They've been around a lot longer than kiss. Because you know
Starting point is 01:02:19 what? The differences there's a lot of artists who aren't afraid to do this. For fear of exactly what you just did, just victim shame him. No way. The artist don't want the backlash for doing what he's doing. You know that's a fact. They don't want to call out the internet. As soon as you call out the internet, that artist suffers dearly Really yeah, the original like the original guys who were like what's that you can't do this you can't wait Which in essence really is what they used to do They would make a set tapes and they would trade the mixed tapes whatever
Starting point is 01:03:02 Except it's on a fucking now. It's on a global scale. It's something nobody could have foreseen, but it's the same principle. But it's also something that nobody can stop. You can't stop this. Right. He, he, he understands that. So that's why this plan, I think, is put in a place to circumvent that. It's a plan. And try to regulate it. For once in order, it's going to regulate his his work and you know what i'm saying you're not you're not allowing other fans to enjoy your music at a reasonable price and majority probably price percent of your fans probably even ninety nine percent of your fans
Starting point is 01:03:38 don't have fifty thousand dollars for mr. jean to come over my house and and won't sign a guitar all right what's that got to do anything can't sign an instrument why because got for a bit of ice sign and now what if i, he's makeup on. He brought the rights to that. But it's ridiculous. He brought the rights to it. East Freight, he signed the rights over. He purchased the rights.
Starting point is 01:04:10 It's like, oh, that's pretend he's East Freight when the band was good. You know, it's so stupid. But buying, I mean, honestly, buying that makeup, it made him a visionary. Like he knew that somewhere down the line that owning those designs That was it. You took a marriage of a fucking junkie, but it's the same thing visionary
Starting point is 01:04:33 Brain of a person who's like one day. I'm gonna need to have somebody in that costume He knew it Eric are he had his own costume But he but he didn't then he Vincent had his own car, have his own costume. But he's not doing that to them. He's not putting somebody else in their costumes at a respect for Eric Carr. And probably not because nobody really cares about any Vincent. But nobody cared about East frailie? Of course they did. Now this caused the backlash.
Starting point is 01:04:59 I'm not going to deny that there's a lot of kids fans who felt betrayed by seeing Somebody wearing the the ace fairly makeup, but you know what? There's also a lot of fans who go out and are like you know what? Well, I still want to see kiss performing these songs, right? I would still rather see them perform these songs and not perform these songs Okay, but why why did he keep that makeup? Because people are also like I'd rather see kiss and makeup than not see them and make up No, they rather say like this is the band we used to be. Nobody said that to me. Nobody said that to Luzia now. Nobody said that to Luzia. I don't think anybody's getting tricked. Right. I think you're right.
Starting point is 01:05:30 It's like Kiss has always been like, like Alice Cooper. Like very theatrical. Yeah, very theatrical. He still does it though. They're there for a game. I enjoy this show. But you're missing your glossing over, I think. Well, I'm saying you're still.
Starting point is 01:05:44 No, Ang, didn't Alice Cooper put out a box at toe. You're more angry than Brian's All right, well with this is ridiculous I'm saying that because cuz this is just a bonus you what you're talking about now Why didn't the now a scooper put out a nice box at toe? Sure he did but it's but did he have a problem with being on how long is Alice Cooper been around? How many hours Alice Cooper's put a lot more albums than kisses ever done, but Alice Cooper been around? How many hours? Alice Cooper's put a lot more hours than Kisses ever done. But Alice Cooper also. Alice Cooper also doesn't have...
Starting point is 01:06:07 If it wasn't Alice Cooper, there would be no Kiss. Alice Cooper also doesn't have the track record though of doing things like this merchandise. Right, there's this. And coming up with new ways to... They're vanguards. Kisses are vanguards in terms of the merchandising. A van merchandising themselves, right?
Starting point is 01:06:22 Nobody's done it on that level. It's a level scene. He's a beauty bar number rock and roll. That I agree with. But if you're, I love this attitude of people who are like, you can't stop it so oh well. So like, so like when someone was to steal your identity online, you wouldn't have that well attitude. I will tell you this when that comes out. That fall comes out. That'd be great. I earn here. When those vaults are released, they'll be on a torrent site someplace.
Starting point is 01:06:52 I guarantee it. Well, I don't know. I don't know. Because I guarantee you they're going to sign a contract. And if you break that contract, I bet G's coming after you hard. Why does he go to Wu Tang room? What was the last Wu Tang album? Are they sold to that douchebag?
Starting point is 01:07:08 Well, they sold to him. Why was he... He was the guy who remembers... I can't remember his name, but like... He was... Shrekkel's... Yeah, Martin Shrekkel. Did anybody come after Wu Tang?
Starting point is 01:07:19 The waiter coming after Jean right now? Uh, Sunday Jeff? Style no. I thought I'm aware of. But he's a guy he bought a medical company immediately like boosted the price of this AIDS drug by like 10,000% for no reason. I mean he's a dude is okay. I thought he just but not because of the buying that album. That's the least of it. That is the absolute least of least. He's like a total asshole this guy. Yeah, you better. Ch-ch-ch-ch.
Starting point is 01:07:46 Yeah. You didn't compete with podcasts, huh? Um. I, I, I don't know, I just feel that if not for the internet, I believe this box set would be put out in a way that was more affordable. But you're talking about reasons for himself, not for the fans.
Starting point is 01:08:04 But sometimes you, sometimes- And that selfishness, is it not? We do it every week. affordable. But you're talking about reasons for himself, not for the fans. Sometimes you sometimes. And that's selfishness, is it not? We do it every week. Okay, is that not selfishness? He's doing it for himself, not for his fans. He's only allowing certain amount of fans to get to get music that every kiss fan would love to hear, but he's doing it for himself. Is it is it any different than say like the jokers that you know they do a meet and greet and there's you know you got to pay more obviously not everybody has that extra money to go so there's always going to be that system in place where it's like yes exactly. Yeah but Q's not charging 50,000 dollars to go up there and hang with them. Well for some people it could
Starting point is 01:08:40 he would. Yeah definitely. Well maybe maybe he should go into business with Gene If if Fuck no, I lost totally lost my peers Now forget it probably was no tears are fallen remember that kiss song. Yeah, there's a lot of it should be you You're not made here you soaked up the whole fucking felt table the poker table The only one that's a apparently is crying The jeans are running. That's the one that's crying jeans the one that's crying apparently apparently what you're saying you're crying all the way to
Starting point is 01:09:08 all the way to where where where mr. Barry oh man I thought you I thought you'd be more excited yeah should have said tell them Steve days that he would kick in anything well we got another commercial commercial. Yeah, that's where you should end this is There there are no tears here ever there's an egalitarian society in a loop create world You're the envy of your friends. You know, you're buying Burger King glasses, you're so- Not really love that lord of the ring shit. Well, I enjoyed the movie you had all so much crap. Fashionista, there's monthly wearables Sunday, Jeff. Wait, there is a tier system. If you want to get fans, you get a bigger box.

Starting point is 01:11:18 Check. Stranger Things. No. You didn't like Stranger Things? I just started watching on Netflix. I just watched the first episode. You like it. Oh, that's all right. I got to watch it a little bit more. There's only like first one new one season Right, I don't know like that one season so far. Yeah, I don't think he's I don't think you're buying stranger things March though
Starting point is 01:11:33 I'm saying I just I watch the very first Things March. I'm not into I haven't watched it yet. I haven't been one my really any merchandise, but go ahead I see a teenage return to the turtle statue back behind the counter. I see about 500 hardcover books. It would be like 500. I sit from a flask and I'm like I stopped drinking. It's like dude, he works here, he knows what you buy. You know what I buy?
Starting point is 01:11:58 Not a sit from a flask. It's bigger than that. I mean it's like I drank a gallon and that he ice. You think you slowed down but... Think of that. Yeah, let me like I drank a gallon and that he ice Yeah, you you think you slowed down, but oh I did I've heard that you slowed down in certain aspects and then fucking like Hit the accelerator on the other books hardcover books you've been going off the rails He watches believe me order. Starting point is 01:12:31 to be like. Oh, those books didn't come in. Hold on. Hold on. Where's my books, bitch? Look, he's Jonesed it over there. I know. I know $50,000. Um, there were times I didn't have pills for two days. I was less rabid. I just saw him. I just saw him. I go out that door. It goes for two days. I was less rabid. And then I just saw him. I was like, how about when I go out that door? It goes in this far. Oh, those books came in. But there's an ammo on the pdf. There's a chance for you. Like, let's say I ordered three of these hard covers,
Starting point is 01:12:56 an initial order. You have a chance before they shift to be like, you can change that number. You can bump it up or bring it down. He was the only person that was getting somebody who should really shitty hard covers. So I call him, I was like, hey bro.
Starting point is 01:13:10 No judgment. Do you didn't tell me these were on a word? You're telling me, I thought these came in already. Doesn't matter. And I said, It does matter. I said, hey man, do you really want this book? I said,
Starting point is 01:13:19 because I mean it really sucks. And he's like, oh yeah, I want that. It sucks, sure. How does it suck? It sucks if you've never seen it yet. Because it's like oh yeah I want that it sucks sure Because it's a reprint a shit that came out in the 70s, but it's reprint that I've never read and I'm telling me bar You're copy I know I didn't buy one. It's all like which is like a house of mystery Okay, I never had a mystery. I like to you know that I wanted to give it a shot. I mean can't give me a no I Don't read some of these older books.
Starting point is 01:13:45 Does anyone feel more judge in Sunday Jeff when he's around you? Like, yes. And I'm looking out for him though. I'm like, I'm telling him, like, you don't need this right now. And he's like, no, guess what I do? Yes I do.
Starting point is 01:13:56 I need it. Never, like, not even for a second taking a step back and being like, you know what? He's got a point. I don't need it. That's what I'm doing. Isn't it getting you really neat out of your food or clothing in shelter filled? Whatever. Yeah, I get it man There's books. I'm like yeah, like if you called me it was like hey
Starting point is 01:14:13 the Master kung fu volume four on the bus you want me to put I mean to knock that down to zero I go fuck no, I need that and I would be and I would be so steadfast I'm like I need it the difference, so you read a lot of the stuff back in the day. I didn't read a lot of comics in the year, like I've been reading a lot of the older stuff, pre-coded stuff.
Starting point is 01:14:32 So I'm the stuffist. I'm not saying with the way you're spending right now, I was like, maybe he'd like to take a chance to do a mullion on this. Well, I didn't know it was an order reduction. Like I said, I didn't know if it was stuff that I ordered. That's too late. Well, obviously now that I know it was an order reduction like I said I didn't know if it's if it was stuff that I ordered That's too late. Well obviously now that I know it was an order reduction I'm not thinking that it came in this week
Starting point is 01:14:52 I know man that was the biggest like cocktails I've ever seen like and I've been the victim of several cocktails Still are He was so excited that those he thought those books came in. You could see it. Yeah. It was a sudden like rush of like adrenaline and like in morphins. Almost like when Jean brought that fucking vault over to my house. He was encouraged.
Starting point is 01:15:16 Yeah, I know. He's thick and girthy man. I finished up the blue crate. Come on, loody. Yeah, I thought I was. I was just We got a code. We got a com slash TSD $3 off and use the code TSD when you're there. Now I also am I can also say what all honesty I am a subscriber to Lucrate. So I speak with very much. Having a, you
Starting point is 01:15:43 know, like with not authority, but what would be the word, you know, a customer of Lucrate, just like Casper. So what I say here is just not me reading off some copy. I actually just advertise you're also a client. Yeah. Very good. Yeah, that's the first thing you said that was worth having you here today. Right.
Starting point is 01:16:01 And it was something that someone else said already. Tell them Steve Dave. I'll put your finger up. That's the last day today we're going to say.
