Starting point is 00:00:00 What's us as tighter than like the Egyptian pyramids where you can't put a piece of paper? That's what these are. Can you stop or tactics? Oh yeah, look at me. I'm the only choice. Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Tellum Steve Dave the podcast that all your little creeps have been bitching about. That's a quote from the original. Bad news bears. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:01:03 When they got their uniforms. What's that? It's like it's what your little creeps of in bitch and about. She goes bail bonds. Yeah. Saw some disappointed people that it's been a while since I tell them Steve Dave came out but you have to understand and I will say this calmly and collectively that we have one guy whose throat was on the men still still relegated to like 20 minutes 30 minutes bouts of talking it was the holiday so everybody gets busy and there was an episode that came out on Christmas that was available for purchase if you wanted to listen to it so badly. And no amount of changing our entry on Wikipedia to saying that the show was canceled will ever make me do anything that you want me to do. It's just not going to happen. I'm not going to leap to say, guys, we've got to record an episode. People are pretending it's canceled. Yeah. As an episode didn't come out in a fucking week. I feel like that's a little bit impatient and not really understanding.
Starting point is 00:02:11 I'm really happy that people are that feverish and red before it. That, I like it. Like, Jones and man, they're like fucking scratching their arms like in the like fucking their pock marks. Let me tell you this coming from a former pretty heavy ad opiate addict. I never Jonesed for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, for, heavy adopiatic. I never Jonesed for, for, for, for, for, for chosen harder for pills. I mean, Jones and harder for TSD than fucking pills. This podcast is, um, should be controlled substance. It is. It's a, it's a schedule one. It's a schedule one controlled substance at this point. The FDA
Starting point is 00:02:42 has been all over our ass. Like, let us turn our attention away from this oxy-cutting issue. Boy. Um, so, I just little ball busting. That's what I thought it was a little bit, but busting balls were here. We're here. We're happy. It's all 2020. 2020. 2020. This is the first episode we're recording in 2020. What, I guess my first question to you guys would be New Year's Eve. How many fireworks were you able to get into your ass to amuse your friends after lighting? It seems to be a thing. Did you know that? No, what? Not like fireworks in your butthole? Like a bottle rocket.
Starting point is 00:03:26 They love to put bottle rockets into their ass and light them. This is a dude thing, right? It seems I've seen a few girls do it. Ridley. But mostly, yeah, like 99% are pretty much guys. To be fair. Mm-hmm. If one of my friends said to me, I'm going gonna put a bottle rocking up my ass and shoot it out
Starting point is 00:03:45 You want to see it? I'd be like yeah, all right any friend Oh, my god, double That shit on patreon I want I got to show you this picture. I saw I was the one that went hey, why it's one that like it seems what happens is that when haywire? It's one that, like, it seems what happens is people light them and don't understand that, like, the reason it's a bottle rocket is because the neck of the bottle is very loose and it,
Starting point is 00:04:14 and it just takes them. There's nothing holding it back. If you haven't had, what's the common of those? What are those things that people put in to loosen it up? Oh, like some Amel night trips. No, like a little plug that you're laying on. Like if you haven't worked that bottom hole and it's real tight and you put a bottle rock in it,
Starting point is 00:04:32 it might not fly out. Yeah, I mean, look, you should do it. I mean, mine's so tight, I don't even think a fucking hair could be fucking. Yeah. Your shits come out like squeaks. Well, almost invisible like a fruit roll on my own what does this tighter than like the Egyptian pyramids where you can't
Starting point is 00:04:51 put a piece of paper but so here's a video of a guy who decided I don't want to see it I'm gonna entertain my friends well you don't have to see the blood. Okay, you don't have to see the after effect But you see how it's that fire shooting them. Oh, that's that fire shooting down. That's not a bottle rocket That's a fucking that's a that's a rocket. That's a Roman candle No, it's not a Roman candle. It's a right. Yeah, it's not like you're your tiny little like bottle rockets I'm like it looks like something while he co it coyote would strap to his back and light to try and catch Right like if you saw one of them in Fallujah, it wouldn't look at a place It looks like something Wiley Coyote would strap to his back and light to try and catch. Right, like if you saw one of them in Fallujah, it wouldn't look at a place.
Starting point is 00:05:28 No, no, no. Now there's no blood, but you want to see the burns the guy got? I really don't. Yeah, not once. Yeah, cute. It's not, I mean, who is all the ass cracks, like black. Yeah, it's, um, what a, my friend, but it's Oh a lot like how do you how do you fucking wake up the next
Starting point is 00:05:48 day or however long it takes you for that feels better and you're just not like. Oh my God, I couldn't like I just couldn't deal with myself. This is how ass nine I was. The slightest little burn will will be painful for a few days,
Starting point is 00:06:03 something like that where you're down a couple layers of skin. I especially in that area. The only way it's worse is if you put it on the head of your dick. Like that's the only way. And I showed it to Mary Beth and I said, I don't quite understand this type of humor. Like, whenever we see really weird shit, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:06:25 here's the way it was with my friends. And I don't know if this was indicative of, of every one, clearly, it isn't, you know, but like, it would never have occurred to us. I don't think to put bottle rockets in. I just don't think that shit is funny. Um, we, we've been watching a big love a show about polygamy. It was like mid 2000 show at Bill Paxton on HBO. And there's a part where it's like these teenage kids, I don't know like 16, 17, they're driving around in a car and the driver is like, oh shit, check it out now. And they're comparing like their ability to get boners.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Like, I guess because they're young and they're always warning so they're getting boners And I you know, I turn them very buff and I'm like you need to know At least a my experience this is not this was not usual like I don't think The only time I remember ever a boner being a subject of conversation was, I don't want to say his name. I'll say his first name, Chuckie, from school and walking through the locker room and Jim and somebody saying, oh, he's got half a chub. Accusatory.
Starting point is 00:07:42 Not. He really didn't, right? He didn't. That's the only time I remember anybody referencing something like that But but shit like this where people like these boys are like hey check out my boner and all this other stuff It's like it's it's just not the way it went ever So it's 2020 bro. I get but this was 2008 2020 maybe I don't know what's going on in 2020, you know, I saw everybody's mad at JK Rowling. That might have been 2019.
Starting point is 00:08:14 That was 2019. Was it? I don't know what you recover from that queue. All she got to do is just write another Harry Potter book and people will forget. Oh, I think what she says was log out of Twitter and roll around in the $1 $100 and be like, it went over there. I got an opinion like everyone else later. Yeah, and not even her opinion.
Starting point is 00:08:33 I think she backed the woman for getting fired or something like that. Like, is a woman got fired for something? Well, I think if you dig deeper, that woman was like kind of an asshole. I think that was the final brick in the wall not the first. Oh, okay. Yeah, like that woman. Basically what happened was a woman was talking about transgender. Oh, yeah. Okay. See, I know. Yeah, that she stood up for the woman, I think. Well, take your route. I said you shouldn't have gotten fired. She was saying, like, you can't even have the opinion that transgender people are not, right, are not whatever they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, they, I think what she said was, you can be anything you want, but biologically, you cannot,
Starting point is 00:09:20 no matter what you do, biologically, you are not the other six. You can be whatever gender you want But now you live in a world where people are like that's hateful and That what what you supposed to I mean I guess the only thing you can do is just not having a opinion about it Yeah, there's a charitable way to look at it I think because you could be like the reason I don't agree with the fucking With the Gestapo tactics, but I guess the terrible way to look at it would be they done Gary Glander, Alan Argan, Gestapo tactics. That's what these are.
Starting point is 00:09:51 Gestapo tactics. Yeah. It's like they're saying like they're saying like, all right, fine. Like you like they're saying transgender people have so are up against so much. And if it doesn't fucking them out of you at all then why are you even weighing in on this? Maybe because you look like because things become normal. I mean look at this shit now where you turn around and stuff that was even five years ago was not normal is suddenly now you have to deal with it. Like the firecrackers
Starting point is 00:10:23 in the ass. That's that's that's going to deal with it. Like the firecrackers in the air? That's gonna happen every, since the first Chinese guy was like, I wonder what this will do until this past new years. Speaking of new years, what'd you do for new years? I went to Troy's third year in a row. It's become somewhat of a, yeah, officer Troy. What do you guys do to ring in the new year,
Starting point is 00:10:43 especially a 2021 gets a special one right? 2020 fired off some guns in the house He has he has quite a few people there who he doesn't really know because he's got four kids and Each of them bring friends and then they have to have their parents there. So like a lot of the parents Troy doesn't know. They're okay, it's houses like me, probably around the same size as like your downstairs area. So imagine like 30 people. And out there?
Starting point is 00:11:21 Oh wow. Yeah, it's a lot of people. A lot of the kids go outside to like, there's a little garage in there. Oh wow. Yeah, it's a lot of people. A lot of the kids go outside to like, there's a little garage out there. And I was talking to him. It's like his oldest daughter, Megan, she's 17 and then she has some friends there that are roughly the same age.
Starting point is 00:11:39 And I was outside talking to him. And I wanted to get a beat of like, what are teens? What do they think is funny? That's really like what I wanted to get a beat of like what are teens? What do they think is funny? That's really like what I wanted to get at. Doing some research, or tell him Steve, they? A little bit. Remember the thing I was talking to you about earlier? I'm going back up there to talk to some of them because they were saying shit that I was like, I'm sorry, I did not bring that up and did not expect you to say that. But I'm talking about like what do you think is funny? And they're like dark dark jokes and stuff and the kids get yeah, I'm like mostly black face stuff. You know dark well. Oh, you mean dark humor. Dark humor. Yeah dark humor. Yeah, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:12:17 jokes about dark. But their version of dark is not as dark. I can't imagine anybody can out dark Brian Johnson. Well, when I said, when I, when I was like, what kind of humor do you guys like? Like, kind of jokes on the, the one boy was like, Oh, we like dark humor. Marybeth goes, Oh, honey. And they'll be in a fetal position at the U.S. You spent a couple hours and I'm telling jokes. And they'll be in a fetal position at the U.S. You spent a couple hours and a challenge, Oaks.
Starting point is 00:12:45 So, but mostly it seemed relegated to like, oh, he's Jewish, so we make fun of him being Jewish. She's gay, so we, you know, teaser about being gay or whatever. And she was the most introverted, because she's a senior, she's like, I've been out for four years. And I said, you know, in our day, like we're in ninth grade, like what, 1983 or something.
Starting point is 00:13:09 I don't see anybody coming out back then. Yeah, it's so much, that's one thing you can say. It's so much better for, you know, for people who have to come out now. Oh my god, it must, it's, it's not way where they're coming out in 1983. No, we wouldn't have allowed it. You said you could come out of that class and get the fuck back in there. Uh, no, but you knew, like you knew the guys that were gay. Yeah, because they always dated like really obese women or like females, they did.
Starting point is 00:13:39 Like it's a fact. That was the pattern. That was like you knew. No, no, he, he's right that they did in our school, but I'm not gonna go out and live and say that was for every school though He's right that I know you're just your experience. Yeah, that's just our experience There's no way you can use that as a scientific Explanation that everybody across the country like was doing that in every school though full disclosure I'm not wearing a lab coat right now. So
Starting point is 00:14:06 scientifically I can't say that's true. But oh yeah, and one guy dated not only one girl. He then went on to date an even bigger girl. Yeah, how come he got now? Why are you so unwilling to just accept that maybe he just wanted that. He was a chubby chaser. Yeah. Because it was everything else. Yeah. You know? The fact girl, yeah, maybe I could be like, yeah, you're like a thick woman who doesn't, you know, but it was used after he came out immediately after high school. That was another tip.
Starting point is 00:14:42 But yeah, you kind of like, I don't know if it would have been the right time though, I think it's not like today. You're right. Like, people would have made fun of them. Like, can you imagine? Although, when you think about it, there was that one girl. I don't know if you remember her name was, remember D.D. Greenwald? Yeah. Her sister Barbara Greenwald was a year too younger than us. And she was openly... Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:09 Oh, yeah. Remember, she would hold hands with the girl in the hallway. No. I don't know. Not a lipstick lesbian way. And I don't mean it to any way to make anybody get upset, but could the reason why nobody or nobody was chiteter or there was no like, but making fun of us because she could fucking kill any dude that would
Starting point is 00:15:29 have fucking said anything to her now because they both of those girls were fucking pretty mean looking and tough. If they told me like, not only are we gay, but guess what, your gay now is they like, all right. What are you guys thinking? That's the reality was they were, they were, they were some tough tough girl. They were they would throw down as I recall. Yeah, exactly. You're right because you think of the guys and if they were like let's go mother fucker like Yeah, they were not You weren't Chelsea Queens that were all buff from roller skating and lifting weights and you were not sure
Starting point is 00:16:02 You go home with all your teeth if you fucked around with them. Definitely not. You might have won, but you would have fought to pay the price. That's what you would have awesome about. Yes. You would have known you were in a fight and then you also would have lost
Starting point is 00:16:13 because you fought a girl. Yes. Even if you win, you lose. Yeah. That could be, yeah, it could be. I went to an old boys high school. So when we went to parties with girls and hung out with the girls at the sister school, they would make out with each other for our amusement.
Starting point is 00:16:30 Like it was great. It was a different time. Yeah, like I had a sweet spot. What year would this have been? 1994. And they were just like watch us. Guys watch. Yeah, he's cute from a practical joke.
Starting point is 00:16:44 It was from that year until now. That's when it happened. Yeah, it was. I mean, you're just charmed. Yeah. You're just talking about it. You're going to parties. I'm saying a mountain.
Starting point is 00:16:54 And you're like, you're fucking unbelievable. He's paid no rock and roll doozy. He's up on the stage with an icon. Oh, yeah. So you did a New Year's Eve. I heard that you were out in Rock and with Brett Michaels. I worked on New Year's Eve. With Brett Michaels?
Starting point is 00:17:08 No, that was a different. That was, that went to see Brett Michaels. He had to do his own show. Yeah. Tell us about that. How does, how does Q get up on stage with Brett Michaels? The man who sung poison, he was from Poisons, please say, right? He was there to poison.
Starting point is 00:17:23 Talk dirty to me. Yeah. Is that what you're saying? No. Nothing but a good time. Nothing but a good time. Yeah poison he was from poisons. Please say poison talk dirty to me Yeah, is that what you're saying? No nothing but a good time. Nothing about a good time. How do you get up there? How are you unironically? I heard my throat actually oh yeah, cuz I remember thinking of myself Wow, I guess that throat wasn't as bad as he made it out thought wasn't as bad as he made it out. No, I really don't know. I was going to show up for the day. He was so good.
Starting point is 00:17:47 It was great. And when I went up to say hello to him and. But how do you get up? How do you get the invite to be like, hey, you know what I'm going to do? I'm going to pull you up on stage. How does that happen? Because I go to he I've gone to many of his shows.
Starting point is 00:17:59 One of his in town, I'll go to one of his shows. And he's people that work from like in practical jokers. But I guess since the last time I saw him two years ago he got turned on to the show and so he found out that I was coming because I know his merch guy and he said I'll bring him up I want to say hello one up and he said hey you want to watch the show from the side of the stage and I go yeah of course that sounds fucking great now as I recall from whenever I've been out of concert and I was able to see if I was an advantage point where I could see the people who are watching offstage, models, tens.
Starting point is 00:18:33 So like now... What's the difference? Oh, I saw a kiss in 1984 and I could see, on my C's, I could see backstage. Yeah, no sip in champagne from long stem glasses mini skirts Halter tops big fat hair because it was the 80s But like these were goddesses watch watching and just sitting on this little like Seed on in your house
Starting point is 00:19:00 Oh, like an ottoman 84 okay,. Ottoman Empire. The world is different now. Now it's middle-aged men who sing like they have a punctured eardrum. Now they're invited up on stage. You can't do this a new era. You can't you can't he can't have rocks. Let's know you cannot have ever No, no fucking way. Dude, it's literally the worst time to be a celebrity. It's never been worse It's never been worse. It's never been worse. You cannot. So you're the safe choice then.
Starting point is 00:19:28 You're the choice. Yeah, look at me. On the only choice. But that's where it's gotten everyone to. That the girls who are like, well, I wanted to blow them. It's like sorry. That time has passed. You should have been born earlier.
Starting point is 00:19:43 Now it's cute. What you said is 100% true. Yeah. It is not happening anymore. Who's gonna go on a beer? I know. Look, let me explain something to you. I have the reason. Weat. It's the only reason.
Starting point is 00:19:55 The money's the other half. Yeah. But the money is only in service of getting more pussy. Right now you can't make money as rockstar with everybody stealing the music. The only thing you have now left is I thought was with the group. It is the let me tell you something. I get to hang out with like people who are on TV and something that I heard evidently.
Starting point is 00:20:14 The conversation turns out it's just no more fun. The party's over. Good. You know what? I was on TV. I got none of that shit happened around. Do you remember any parties? Do you remember any of standing on stage? Never got invited to that shit happened around you remember any parties. Do you remember any outstanding?
Starting point is 00:20:25 Never got invited to anywhere. Nope. No one gave a fuck. We could there were premieres in New York of comic book movies. You're like, man, you're not associated with comic books enough. Yeah, so he said so he said you want to watch from the side of the stage. I was like, yeah, I said, I said, I'll try my best not to come out on the stage just as a joke. And he was like, you want to come from the side of the stage, I was like, I was like, yeah, I said I said I'll try my best not to come out On the stage just as a joke and he was like you want to come out and sing and I was like really? Because you know the words to nothing but a good time. I go only everyone Maybe you went a little look Google the lyrics real quick the lyrics real quick. No, I see the fucking moment in a very unlike now what was the the crowd no oh you think I knew that was my big concern I was gonna get that
Starting point is 00:21:14 and somebody's like but I was in a good place they think like people were excited was Brooklyn right it was no major park was okay yeah enough people in this area yeah I I figured that enough people wouldn't know who you were that it wouldn't be like that wasn't why is this is this like it's cousin or something yeah it wasn't it was great where the hot sluts like everyone's got he is he is a really really fucking nice guy like what like he he's like he's like he's like fucking fight you on stage of course he's a nice yeah but he's like talking to him in the back like you could tell like people who have like lived so much that they're not fucking worried about nothing no more
Starting point is 00:21:58 he's just happy to do it he's happy to be there and we were talking about touring and he's like I love it he's like it's what I live for it's what I love to do and I'm like good for you You know you you're torred as much as he does now I bet you I do not and now they're doing that big tour They fucking sold out city field in like a day who pretzels are poison poison. Oh, he's back modeling through and John jet Joe jet that flabberg are too big. Yeah, it's a big day selling out of Venus across I'm not a real stadiums now if you call them or like hey man Can I I'm gonna go on tour with you? You're gonna pay me, but I'm just gonna come out and I'm gonna sing nothing
Starting point is 00:22:35 But a good time every night with you. I'm gonna give you an exclusive I'm gonna give you a tell see if they this isn't good exclusive to you like that He asked if I would come on stage a city field and sing it with him. Really? Are you going to do it? Yeah! I don't know if he'll remember. Can I get a moment he might have just said it? Were you just show up then? Yeah. Hi, Brett. Yeah. I really like the guy. Yeah. Yeah, so maybe you'll see me, but I had to go to my voice doctor Yeah, so maybe maybe you'll see me, but I had to I had to go to my voice doctor and Get permission. No, I had to I had to walk in I did a walk a shame explain what was gone on my throat and be like I'm so stupid that I'm the guy who six months six weeks after voice throat surgery
Starting point is 00:23:18 Got on stage and saying and then you live once. That was my point. You only live once. That voice could go, you know what? Big deal. You got to say, people are mine. Yeah. It was, it was, it was, RoboQ could come back. Fuck you, keep a lot of RoboQ.
Starting point is 00:23:34 RoboQ, what are you doing? What are you doing? You really like RoboQ. I don't play him. I don't know if they like Robo Q as much as they liked Robo Q's inability to enter quickly a hammering Robo Q. Robo Q is great, so but it was it was dude it was one of those moments where I was like because dude like it's good to be killed.
Starting point is 00:23:58 My whole life listen to this to this this music you know what I mean like my first car ever I definitely listened to nothing but a good time in it. Of course, it did. It was a laser. My first car was a marco. Cheese your hair. So day. So hair spray. It's crazy. I show Mary Beth pictures of the glam rock era and how much they look like females. it's insane. She just like, wow, this is like looking at a cave painting. It was so long ago. There's a woman loved it. They couldn't get.
Starting point is 00:24:32 I told my first wife, Stacey Patel, I said, my theory on why girls like glam rocker so much is like, you think of their age, they're very young like 1314, some were some were older, but they look so much like girls that it's they like these girls Know their guys these young girls they know their guys, but it seems safer. It's not like you're not gonna have a crush on Lemmy 14 Michael is so good lucky and almost looks like a girl You watch yeah you watch behind the scenes shit with these guys. Because let me look like your father's mechanic.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Yeah. Right, you couldn't, no girl could be, unless you're truly into metal. There was definitely groupies for him. But, and they probably were hot, but they were of a different mindset. They were all about the music. They didn't care who we look like.
Starting point is 00:25:19 I mean, he could have been, you couldn't care what he looked like. You know, because it's Lemmy, he had that kind of cachet. Mm-hmm. Whereas, yeah, like a Brett Michaels or any number, I guess. Even if he couldn't sing, which he could,
Starting point is 00:25:31 he definitely could sing, but he looked so good in those pants, didn't matter what he sounded like. Still looks good. Yeah. Still looks good, although, do you have any inside scoop on the bandana? I feel like maybe his hair's thinning a little, because you never see him without the bandana. I don't have any inside scoop on the bandana? I feel like maybe his hair's thinning a little because you never see him without the bandana
Starting point is 00:25:47 I don't have any I thought he had brain surgery though. I think that's why to cover a scar I kind of I don't know I'm talking out of my ass, but I really thought it covers up like a nasty scar because he had There was a swell swollen brain. Didn't you have that? Yeah, but they didn't cut my head open Yeah, it's swollen in cock. Singing with them. Yeah, I'm like, is this gonna explode? You know what I did on New Year's? What was that? Um, my daughter was having friends over.
Starting point is 00:26:13 And they want to stay up and you know, do, they want to step to midnight. Yeah. Fucking kids. Now this is your, um, I know. Alright. This is your younger one. Yeah, she's, so she's gonna have three year girl friends over. So I say to my wife, I was just like
Starting point is 00:26:27 We should go should we invite Brock? Here's didn't ring so I guess I say we should go Get a room. Oh, I said and you know just spend new years Right and she said yeah, I was like oh all right, just spend New Year's, right? And she said, yeah. I was like, oh, all right. And so we got a room and right next to a little restaurant that we could, you know, go some place and have something to eat.
Starting point is 00:26:54 But then walking distance, there's like right next to it. Is it a nearby place where you can get a decent steak? And the bloke's and the sheelas. I hear you. You're right. Not a bad place. No, not're out. Not a bad place. No, not at all. Not a bad place.
Starting point is 00:27:07 But I do years, if I was like, I said to her, I was like, from seven to midnight, it's going to be all about, it's all romance, I said. I don't even say stakes. All right. All right. I'm making these calculations. I don't you say stakes I'm making these block of agents are like I'm like it's like it's gonna happen from seven to midnight and then I'm midnight That's what I'm done, right by eight o'clock. I was watching dog the bounty hunter I was just like Hotel room. It's just way too exciting to be like I'm gonna wait I'm gonna to be like, I'm going to last until midnight. You've got to be out here in mind. I got a hotel room and I got to go to the outback in a few minutes.
Starting point is 00:27:47 I can't. I'm stuck going faster. That's pretty nice. That sounds like a great evening. But I filled her head up with midnight. I'll be, yeah, it's going to be. But do you think she's knowing you long enough to be like, we'll be just about to end up like this? You think I want to go, it's good. But do you think she's known you long enough to be like, well, we'll be just about anybody.
Starting point is 00:28:05 You think I want to go until midnight? Yeah. Yeah, they had a dog that bounty hunter marathon on from season one. A lot has changed for dogs and season one. I guess for everybody, you know, not just, I don't mean that because I just meant his, he just aged. Oh, you know, like everybody else, but yeah,
Starting point is 00:28:22 it was fun. I really like that show. Do you find it depressing a little when you see people, like you haven't seen them in a while, and then you're like, oh my God, they've aged so much. Like, yeah, just remind you that you're changing your mind. That's exactly it. You're the reminder of your own mortality.
Starting point is 00:28:37 Well, the nice thing is like, you don't gotta worry about the girls. Like, you are free to do what, yeah. Like when you're in the room, it's like, and they didn't make you think like you are free to do what yeah, like when you're in the room, it's like and and did it make you think like maybe you should do this more often. Yeah, yeah, definitely. Um, I like that you could basically walk to the place if you felt like it. That's not close to it. I mean, we're not lying. It's like two steps out and I'm sitting in fucking out back. But um, the, what, was it the outback we used to go through?
Starting point is 00:29:06 Yeah, yeah, I got it. What my girls do with my wife, I know you guys have no fucking reference for this, but they put each other on this app that they do where they can track each other. Yeah. And they know where everybody is at all times, and they'll text each other, be like, what are you doing at Macy's?
Starting point is 00:29:27 Because they know. Yeah. So my wife is like, because we told them we were going to movies. Oh, you. What are they showing at the hotel? I mean, had you rented a movie from there technically? We said we were told the older one, we were going to see stars, but then I made the mistake of that and we had already mentioned that we had so star wars earlier.
Starting point is 00:30:00 So they were like, well, we tracked you. You were never at the theater and you already saw Star Wars. Go to your room. That's funny that they tracked you like... I told her because my wife was just like, maybe I should turn the thing off. I'm like, that'll be even more fucking suspicious. I go, they're not tracking you on New Year's Eve, I said. They're with their friends.
Starting point is 00:30:23 No one is tracking you at this point. They tractor. They just ask them why? The little blue dot is like going on a dead end. They're like, wait, they just move six feet. They're probably in dinner now. Gross. Wow, that's a good plan. Yeah, that's a real good plan. Yeah, it's nice. We plan to do it again. I mean, I fucking Mary Beth on Troy's bed and didn't mention it. All of everybody's cold. Yeah. Wipe it off on the drapes. Yeah, I feel lame for working. Like, you were on stage though. I mean, that's a bit more, that's a bit more fucking like rock and roll and us.
Starting point is 00:31:03 You're on stage performing to thousands of adoring fans. Yeah, but very dry penis. Like nothing was happening, I'm excited. And then I watched a share noble. Oh, yeah. The HBO thing. Oh, that's gonna make you, that's gonna make it hard to get in the mood watching every watch a share noble.
Starting point is 00:31:20 Just working. Yeah, I want to watch something like dog that would really put her in the mood. The dog is after one. Yeah. Oh Something like dog that would really put her in the mood No, it was it was a lot like Christmas like just spent alone watching shit Okay, well as long as you sound like it was great. That's good that you leave Did you see Chernobyl? I? I seen a lot documentaries on Chernobyl, but I haven't seen the one at HBO. It is it's not a documentary It's not a documentary. It's like a documentary for all of us. Okay. It's a mini series. Yeah, it is fucking. Yeah. Excellent.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Scary. Dude, I know the whole story about that shit. That shit is fucking unreal. No, I was, I was, I was, I was 12, 10, like 12, one that went to happen. It was fucking. Not did you see this show? I haven't watched it, but we were around 18. Like I remember it vividly, like all the reports coming out. This fucking close. And the people that I was in the hands of, you're just like, these guys? But did you see how they fixed it?
Starting point is 00:32:18 I'm gonna talk the massive effort and all the fucking brainiacs that came together to fucking put that to move that that apparatus they put over it. Well, that was recently, right? You're talking about the original one? Well, the concrete and everything. It's a coffe gas. Yeah. Dude, it was fuck, they had this one shot, and I looked it up and you know, they dramatized some shit and whatever.
Starting point is 00:32:38 But like, the one thing that really happened, like this helicopter got just too close to the open reactor and it just just like it disintegrated the blades on the helicopter and they just fucking plummeted right into it and it happened like that and you're just like oh my god and they talk about people who would go in for like 60 seconds at a time just because the exposure would be too much. It shoveled debris off the top of a roof and shoot. Yeah, I was dude they Yeah, I was, dude, they do that scene. 90 seconds and you stay with one guy the entire 90 seconds and you're just like, oh my fucking god, this is crazy when I'm watching.
Starting point is 00:33:14 This is crazy. It was bonkers. And then the two guys that really fucking saved everybody, you're just like these guys are fucking heroes, but like Russia squashed them. Washed them because I didn't want to admit that they did anything wrong. It was fucking crazy.
Starting point is 00:33:33 Could you imagine getting that call though to fix it? Like you know that you're one of the smartest human beings on the planet, you're like, well, I'm gonna figure a way to fucking put these tracks up and move this apparatus to sarcophagus of like an inch at a time to put it into place. And it will be okay for a hundred years, but in a hundred years, someone's going to have to figure it out.
Starting point is 00:33:50 And another. But again, what you're talking about that, the thing on the rails, yeah, was 2017. That was the sarcophagus, like the original concrete structure. That's the fucking one where you're like, they made it and immediately was leaking. It wasn't made well holy shit but they what they wise not finally 2017 or like we got to get the brightest and the best yeah well
Starting point is 00:34:12 at that point it wasn't it wasn't under the control of the Russians would you do if they got to call you're on tour wait I'm a tour you're on tour they show I'm on a parental joke and they're asking me to figure this out. You want to just be part of the team. You have to figure out the whole thing, but you just got to come in and give your I think they listen to the telly they know. That's so unrealistic. They're like he seems reasonably bright.
Starting point is 00:34:33 Let's put him in charge. Uncharging. Just part of like a hundred man crew. I think a better question would be like if I was still on a fire department. Like what I have done there rather than be like what would I do now? Because those firemen were like, they were just like, no, they, they, nobody knew, there was a point for days where nobody knew how dangerous it was
Starting point is 00:34:53 and all those guys just fucking like died. They were talking about 9-11 or, you should have been hopeful. No, this is, you're right. But now, but then there came a point where they all knew that just reporting for work, you're dead and they still went, they still fucking went and did it. It was nuts. The things that people do for their country or any number their company and I'm
Starting point is 00:35:16 just like who the fuck would like I could not summon the amount of caring that like they're like you're gonna die if you go and do this. I'd be like, can somebody else hold a shovel? Like, I know I'm not the one who's in charge. So I would really prefer not to. Nobody else does it. You're gonna die anyway. Oh, fucking move. You can't move. And walk away. They would have watched all of Europe. They were like, they were looking at scenarios where it's just like, we, the entire content of Europe will be gone if we don't fix this. Oh no,'m talking I'm talking about like somebody who's like some schmo just some shlup because they do it all the time. They put a gun
Starting point is 00:35:54 your head probably didn't make you do it. At least I die with a dead head air instead of this. Well they were saying, because they knew that Russia was lying. The lead scientists knew that Russia was lying, and the problem was the other reactors in the country had the same design floor that caused the explosion. And he wanted to report that at Vienna at this conference who explained, because I had to explain to the world what happened, and they were basically like well if you tell the truth They'll kill you and your entire family. So he had to lie and and You're like this fucking nuts, and then what he did was it. It's he recorded
Starting point is 00:36:39 audio cassettes of what was really happening gave him to a reporter then kill themself and of what was really happening gave them to a reporter then killed himself. And that's how Russia, and then when those tapes came out, Russia had to admit that the other reactors had that problem and they had to fix it. The guy had to kill himself to fucking, to make sure that he could safely say it.
Starting point is 00:37:00 Oh, holy shit, man. Oh. That's a level of sacrifice. They're like in the morning if it's too cold and sage forgets your glasses, I'm like if you really need them, drive to the cold and drive three blocks to get these glasses to it. Let alone recording cassettes and off in yourself. For New Year's when you went to the outback, I would have to imagine that you were fully prepared But one thing noticeably absent because you don't need it would be blue-cho
Starting point is 00:37:34 Maybe I should have had it great maybe then I and then I kind of had around two after fucking after a couple hours A dog you would you would have been able to do around you for sure Round two if you don't have anything from on a personal level is like, I mean, the interest is non-existent. The odd thing to us is like even at this age when we're at the desk and we're telling the lady that like, you know, like how did we check out because we're gonna check out early, we're gonna check out probably around midnight because we're gonna go home at midnight when the parties are with the girls. And the look, we automatically feel like we put more in the look than probably there really
Starting point is 00:38:13 was, but they're like, that suspicious look from that stranger. Yeah, I don't like that. But what are the suspicious? They just look up and they're like, oh, you're checking out early. Okay, well, you could just leave the key on the nightstand, I guess. If you're not going to be there in the morning. Just like, we just look at each hour, like we're doing something wrong. So you know, if that were me, I would be like, I have no reason to stay overnight with the prostitutes. I would definitely say that just to like throw them. I don't think checking out the thing anymore. I think you just leave.
Starting point is 00:38:40 Oh, really? Well, we don't, we don't spend a lot of time in hotels, so we were just like, in plus we were all nervous with it. We didn't want to leave in the front desk later and know what was going on. I mean, I can't do, but we don't want her to know. We were separate from another country, we said. We're from the Ukraine, we don't have long to live. You heard a Chernobyl.
Starting point is 00:38:59 Well, you think she can track me too on my iPad? Definitely not. Wow, that sounds nice though. I like that. Yeah, that's a very fun and cool thing to do. You can do like a hundred bucks. Yeah. What about Bluetooth now?
Starting point is 00:39:14 Well, let's remember the days when you were always ready to go. You can increase your performance. You get that extra confidence in bed, so listen up Bluetooth.com. Starting point is 00:39:37 arises I won't wink isn't zero to 60 you think or how long do you think it really takes after you pop it after you pop it I would probably give it like a half hour. Oh, it takes that long? Yeah. A lot of times you see on TV. Well, so you could waste one if you think things are going well and then, but then. It's possible.
Starting point is 00:39:53 Oh, I guess at this price, that blue choux, you can afford to waste a couple. You can waste a couple. Yeah, you can take it and then you just go to your coffee. I don't care. It's a waste of boner. Waste of blue choux, don't waste the boner. I haven't wasted a boner yet
Starting point is 00:40:10 Boners a terrible thing to waste but how many how many sperm cells have you wasted though? How many children have you killed? Starting point is 00:41:02 It's January 2020. The year 2020 shows up a lot in science fiction. That's it. That's an order. A lot of people, okay, a lot of people predicted that by now we'd be teleporting to work or living on Mars and a lot of those predictions were wrong. The truth is we'll always get the future wrong, which is why we need to get life insurance right. That is a convoluted ham-handed way to get into this thing. But okay, it's not science fiction. Policy genius can help you, all right? They will make it help you find the right life insurance in a breeze. You can compare quotes from top insurers, find your best price, save all kinds of money.
Starting point is 00:41:38 Policy genius team is going to handle the paperwork and the red tape. Red tape is no fucking fun. No fun. Policy genius doesn't make life insurance. You see, they can also help you found the red tape. Red tape is no fucking fun. No, no fun. Policy genius doesn't make life insurance. He's either, he can also help you found the right home, auto insurance or disability insurance. So I'm assuming this is some sort of like aggregation site where you get to compare a lot of shit. I love comparing stuff.
Starting point is 00:41:58 I do like to do that. Who doesn't? So if your science fiction's for dreams, still haven't become science fact, don't get discouraged, get life insurance, and it only takes a few minutes to find out your best price and apply it at policygenius.com, policygenius, we always get the future wrong. Wait, policy genius, we'll always get the future wrong, better get life insurance right. Well, it sounds like policy genius is saying they're get the future wrong, better get life insurance right. Well, it sounds like policy genius to say and they're getting the future wrong. I got to admit, I'm impressed that they stuck to the theme for that entire ad. The science fiction. Yeah, they really
Starting point is 00:42:31 went for it. I like it. Yeah, they did. Good for you, policy genius. Nice. The other thing with, on New Year's with Troy was when I was talking to those teens. I was asking about the jokes, the dark humor and stuff, and then, nowhere one girl goes, yeah, I know a girl in my class who likes to get peed on. And I was like, no, these are high school students. And then I learned a thing or two that I was stunned. Plus, when he told me this story, like like I rarely see Brian Johnson on comfortable uncomfortable, but you were like you were like As you were telling me the story you were like I don't know it felt weird been talking to kit like you were like I didn't bring this up like yeah It was dude. It was really bizarre
Starting point is 00:43:23 But if they're 18 it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter and Troy's daughter 17 I know Troy's the best part like every well he came out He was inside and then he came out and I was like hey you want to hear about kids in your class getting you're But this is this is why when you asked me did you say to Deb? I bet a bride was coming over on New Year's Yeah, this is why when you asked me did you say to that about that a bride was coming over on years? Yeah, this is why I Don't like for some reason people just tell you this shit. They do people tell me the weirdest shit You're right. You're right about that
Starting point is 00:43:54 but I'm looking at Troy's daughter and Every dad wants to think she knows nothing about getting peed on at 17 He can rest assured because the look on her face is there saying this I'm like this is not something they shared with her. She was horrified. She's not horrified because she was telling it and trying to fucking dad She was or she wasn't horrified. She seemed to be like what? Who are you talking about? And then the name names I found out all kinds of stuff
Starting point is 00:44:27 names. I found out all kinds of stuff. Craziness. Stuff I was not involved in in high school. I'm like, it was a major success under the bra, major success when you went to school. Absolutely. Yeah, all this other stuff is just all fucking smoke and mirrors. It's unnecessary and just a lot of bliss and pointless. A lot of people, you know, they attribute it to the internet and internet porn that it normalizes all this other stuff. But yeah, like the the ping on in less it's like, I need it. I fucking need it. No, you know, no one needs that. No need it. No, probably you like it.
Starting point is 00:45:00 You guys fucking judgmental. You don't need blow jobs. I'm saying, I'm like saying you shouldn't do it. As a it, it's fucking judgmental. You don't need blow jobs. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it. As a teen, I don't know. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it. What do you think about the state of affairs, Q? Oh, yeah, it is. Iran and, uh, hey, hey, it's pronounced Iran. We have a very, we have a fundamentalist, uh, Islamist chick, Nina Red, who is very, very upset
Starting point is 00:45:38 that people call it Iran, right? But I thought I read Iran. Iran, uh, it's Iran, which is what, I mean, that's what that guy should have been saying. If you didn't want to get fucking blown up, oh, that's a dark joke. That's It's Iran. Which is what? I mean, that's what that guy should have been saying if you didn't want to get fucking blown up. Oh, that's a dark joke. That's a dark humor. You saw that one underneath?
Starting point is 00:45:51 No, you had to get blown up by that. What do you think we're going to a vort catastrophe here? Or do you think we're on the road to war? Well, I think we're always on the road to war with those people over there. And Iran. Yes. Iran. Iran. Iran. Iran. But Iran, DMC. I think, look, people like this fucking general should deserve to die. Second, you find that he's responsible to death of 600 Americans. My only question is, why was he alive this long? Like what the fuck didn't we take him out earlier? And Warmonger, who? Back to turn him to glass!
Starting point is 00:46:31 Turn it all to glass! But can I say, Kiv, bring up a different point though that I know in your rush to be 100% behind the USA every move though, is killing that guy though going to possibly bring about even more than 600 deaths upon Americans though. There has to, you have to weigh the consequences, don't you? Well, you also got to weigh the consequences of, and before I even continue, allow me to say, I don't fucking know anything about it. I should be the disclaimer at the beginning of the episode.
Starting point is 00:47:06 So on and forth on this. You think that's like the complete and utter-get-addigated JL card, no matter what? I don't know what I'm talking about, but I'm gonna tell you that. I'm taking it to talk. Because if anybody wants uniform, then turn it off right now. But if you want to hear fucking me, shoot out of the mouth.
Starting point is 00:47:20 Shoot not the head. Turn that volume on. Yeah, to me me it's like... Responsible for the deaths of 600 Americans, like I think that guy... I think it's shameful that he was alive this long. Fuck that guy. But I think their response is pretty genius. To attack the bases and fire those missiles and nobody gets killed.
Starting point is 00:47:43 Like if Trump doesn't seize on this to de-escalate the whole fucking thing, then he's definitely a fucking madman. But I don't understand like the people in Iran. Iran. Maybe we should just start right about this. You know what? Iran. This is America.
Starting point is 00:47:58 You don't like it mean Iran. But like they have to know though that that was a completely hollow Follow up though. They have to know that like they did something like just to say okay We we retaliate it but kind of like wink wink. We didn't retaliate in a way that I think that's why they did it Right, but it's it's completely and utterly pointless though Well, someone not really you think they're telling you think the fucking Tahiran radio station is like no one got killed, you think they're like, we've slayed fucking 100 Americans in a missile attack. And then they get it possible. And then somebody's going to be like, well, fucking the Americans, the same thing kill everybody. And they're going to be like, you don't believe the
Starting point is 00:48:35 great white devil. You know what I mean? Which they wouldn't make it. Well, can you believe, can you believe our intel though? Can you believe that nobody died? Or is there a, or is there a concentrated effort to de-escalate and say, okay, if we say people died, then we got to fucking... then we got to make a move. Let's just say no one died so we can just fucking get out of this. I don't think so. Has the American government ever been wrong about invading the country?
Starting point is 00:48:56 Right. Are they never lied to us? That's the thing. It's like you see all the people in Iran, rally death to the white devil death to America all this other shit And you're like, I don't know that this isn't fucking 20 people in the rest of the countries like fuck it like I don't know that Did you see that photo of that fucking funeral though? No, oh yeah, everybody's getting trampled and shit. I'm sorry. It's like Michael Jackson. I'm sorry I mean, yeah, I don't know I could not imagine coming out. You see that sea of people. I'm sorry. I don't know. I could not imagine coming out. You see that sea of people. I'm like, I'm staying at home.
Starting point is 00:49:29 Who's going to miss me if I'm not there? Let me tell you something. If you're a Muslim, you have to know that being involved in a stampede is more likely than not. Whether it's Ramadan or somebody died, or the Shah's get holed off by a helicopter. No, that, but I mean, that happens a lot. Yeah, that's always trampled.
Starting point is 00:49:47 Every time you're doing robin' on somebody's getting trampled. There's a whole bunch of people. A billion people in a town square. Yeah. I mean, here a firecracker, and they fucking, you know, or they pull a body out of a casket, and people start to get all whiffed up into a frenzy.
Starting point is 00:50:02 Yeah, but like, let's get a piece of his robe, or his hair. I'm not lying, right? They pull it right in the case sometimes. I don't know what they're doing. And when the, I think it was the shoddied, like, yeah, they were trying to like lift them out and people are jumping on the coffin and pulling it down.
Starting point is 00:50:16 It's nuts. I watched this documentary over the break. It was a, I forget the name. It was about John Domenna, the guy that they that they say was Ivan the terrible. They think he was Ivan the terrible, they think he was a guard. Oh, I saw what's this. You watched it? Yeah, on Netflix. Yeah, yeah. You watched the next door. Now, you take the Jewish people, like, you know, they go to Israel to try this,
Starting point is 00:50:41 what they're saying is a Nazi war criminal. I don't know if he is or isn't, but people are like, I'll never forget his face. I remember his face, I'll never forget his face. No, Holocaust, you know, long time ago. So my mind, I'm like, I don't know how you could remember that, but if you're like, you know, you're in the Holocaust, you're getting marked. They seem super certain, but then they're not certain,
Starting point is 00:51:04 because then some stuff comes out where it's like a guy's wrong about something a fact of important fact and This one is like well, he was never there. He was here. So it's like it's not ironclad at sure does seem like it was him I thought what I was impressed with was the fucking passion of these Jewish people. Yeah. I mean, they are... I don't understand religion really. I don't get why people are so into it.
Starting point is 00:51:38 I wish I was though, because if I felt the passion that these Jewish people displayed, I don't know, maybe I'd be happier or something. It seems like since life is basically pointless that to have a God or like some sort of after life, some sort of reward, like a reward, that's all I need in life is something to look forward to. That's what faith is all about, man, is that you're going to not just die fucking alone and in pain.
Starting point is 00:52:09 You're going to live forever and in paradise. So that's a very comforting thought. It is. If you can convince yourself of it. Like I love having something to look forward to. Mary Beth's birthday is this weekend. So we're gonna go to Tampa, because she really likes Salvador Dolly,
Starting point is 00:52:29 and there's a Salvador Dolly museum there. So I was like, I found a relatively inexpensive, like little two day trip. So we'll go down there, go to the museum and shit. It'll be warm, so that's better than this. That's something I can look forward to. And that's what I need in life for these little things to look forward to. Otherwise, it seems too empty.
Starting point is 00:52:50 Thinking that I'm going to go to heaven is not to me a real, this degree word that I can look forward to because I just don't believe it. And I wish I did. I really wish I did. I think that, I mean, everybody, I guess, struggles with it, you know, sometimes even I like go, I'm not religious or anything, but I like, it's like, can there, can this thing really be real? It's all about, you know, how do you, it's all about faith and how can you keep it even when you start to struggle? But I'm like, okay, Jesus is coming back.
Starting point is 00:53:20 What's he up to? That he can't come back already? You can't even think about he's probably doing stuff that's like you are little minds can't comprehend. He's probably on the phone with the fucking IRS. He's fucking motherfuckers, we'll pick up. Well you got to figure Jesus is not human. Right. I mean I know he was but like he's not. So for him time he might not even experience time like he's not. So for him, time, he might not even experience time like,
Starting point is 00:53:46 he might have been a second. Well, he should take that into account, because everyone's being real fucking patient. So, yeah. So if it's a second frame, they really are. They're not, but there's why everybody's fighting. They all want to prove that they're right. Like, you can't fucking talk to some of these people.
Starting point is 00:54:03 Like, I'm not talking about just like, like, like, like, I'm, like an Islamic fundamentalist is no different than the fucking hardcore Baptist Christian, who is no different than some of those Jewish people that you see. Like, in their minds, they are 100% right. This is the way it's going to happen. All you mother fuckers are wrong. And not only that, I'm going to try to convert you in if you are not pleased about being converted, probably kill you. Yeah, a lot of a lot of people do that. A lot of killing. Not killing.
Starting point is 00:54:34 But it's not the shit that people do in the name of religion. I'm like, did you I saw a story? So fucking crazy. The Catholic church has hid two billion dollars worth of assets To from victims from of pedophilia believe it totally believe it It just I just saw the story today. It's definitely true They they've hidden so that they can't be taken these assets so they don't have to pay out to the victims This is crazy. I mean the same people who sent priests they knew were molesting kids to other parishes
Starting point is 00:55:05 Other but that's where the thing you can't you if you're good your faith has to be you have to separate it from man Because man fucks everything up man is just a fucking Brutal animal like onto yourself like Walt Flanagan is like you know what I have a certain faith and that faith gives me a flat again is like, you know what, I have a certain faith and that faith gives me a solace inside. Like it gives me a comfort and I live my, I think you live your life like a pretty good person, you know. So if you're doing all that, going to a building once a week to let everyone else know how great you are and then giving up some money to me doesn't mean anything. And that's where the man made construct comes in that I can't get behind is like give us your money and follow
Starting point is 00:55:50 these rules that so many people don't the hypocrisy within the churches it's fucking if you are a journalist could you could you give any could you donate money now knowing that they hid $2 billion worth of... And throw this on the pile or keep it away from kids who's not sure for when... I don't understand how they can recover from something. I mean, I guess they... I don't know if they have recovered. I mean, it's losing... I haven't been to church in a really long time, so I would never know. It's a tendency going down. Well, they close.
Starting point is 00:56:25 And what happens is it's weird, these malls close and then these mega churches open in them. Down in Florida, I saw a couple of them. It's weird, but you can get a mega church. But I guess if you get a flamboyant and charismatic preacher, it's all you need. So you can get yourself a. You've got yourself jolastying, you're in business. We convince people that, you know, of anything and to give you money for anything. Patreon.com slash tell them to you. Go there for videos and podcast.
Starting point is 00:57:01 Oh, yeah, man, there's so much good shit on there, man. It's that should be. That's actually getting something. Yes you're getting something and we're not hiding assets because anyone lest a kid's nothing like that. The patreon.com slash tell me Steve Dave should be your cathedral. Yeah every Tuesday you can visit that fucking that church. Keep your Sunday's free. Yeah you don't have to fuck up your whole weekend. It's on a Tuesday. You listen to it on your leisure with the list of not Tuesday, but you know the comfort and the solace that that that comfort is going to be there on Tuesdays, the most holy of days. Yeah. Yeah, Tuesdays the new Sunday. Yeah, it's, it doesn't even make you mad and it does make you wonder with these people who
Starting point is 00:57:53 do keep donating or like, what's his name? Like Jim Baker, like, these people that they expose as hypocrites and people are so crazy, rewatched wild wild country with Mary Beth and I'm like these people are not sman, like really, did you see it? It's a, this is like this cult that moved into a commune, they say, from India, they move into organ in this, on this giant ranch and there's not that many people to begin with but eventually it swells to thousands of people and they're right next to us a town that has less than a hundred people in it and the townspeople are like what the fuck these guys are like you can hear them at night they're all like
Starting point is 00:58:37 and it's like a sex cult so they're all banging and shit making all sorts of noise if you're gonna join a cult make sure it's a sex cult if you're a if you're a girl, I don't know if it's the best move if you're a chick, though. No, probably not for a girl. Or a guy even, because if you join a sex cult and you're a guy a lot of times, it's like the main guy is like, I'm going to bang your wife now. Oh, okay. It's not just a free-for-all.
Starting point is 00:59:01 Oh no, it seems to be a free-for-all. But it's got to be so much fun. It's got to be so cool. Oh, yeah. It's a guy a free for all. Oh no, it's a it seemed to be a free for all It's a guy who says almost nothing and when he does say something you're like, well, that's pretty right Seventeen rolls Royces. He's wearing a million dollar watch and I'm like how the fuck are people not cynical enough to look at that and be like What what am I, I gave all my money so he can wear that. They're lost man, they're so lost out there fucking just looking for anything to buy into man. Yeah, and I think that they believe, like they're so tired of their life,
Starting point is 00:59:35 like the race type life that they're like, oh wait, I can live in a commune and everybody's real nice to each other and dead a dog, but then eventually what happens is they, like the leadership wants to take over the town So they start importing all these homeless people so the homeless people can vote and they can take over not only the town But they want to take over the county and then she's like we want to take over the state That's not something that
Starting point is 00:59:57 People are going to take lightly and just fucking sit back and allow you to do it so they're investigated There's all this other stuff, but Yeah, it's so you could bet your fucking boots that there's a fucking crime committed in there and that fucking commune somewhere that they'll fucking nail them on. Well, do you remember when it would have been the 80s when there was a cult went in and sprayed the salad, but that's them. That was them. That was them. The remnants of that cult. Yep. Those are the people. That cult still in business. They moved India.
Starting point is 01:00:25 They moved India. Same thing with a documentary watch on Netflix about Big Roomb yoga. It's like a certain style of yoga and this guy, Big Roomb. That's how you pronounce it, is it? Poker rom? Oh no, you're thinking of the African terrorist group
Starting point is 01:00:39 Poker rom. That's the same thing. It's pretty much. This guy was a terrorist onto himself. Yeah. Again, we're speaking totally on uninformed, uneducated here. Turn it off if you have any qualms or any issues of what we're saying. India may as well be Africa. I mean, come on. It's a country that there's a lot of poor people who will do anything in order to fucking survive, but this
Starting point is 01:01:06 Bikram guy who comes from India develops a certain style of yoga, that people are totally into. Is that where you have to sit in a little way? It's so hot that you could die, the heat is so intense. Is that them? No. No, I think that's what what the Russian people do right like like they take those real Deep steam baths or saunas or whatever and people fucking drop dead. Yeah
Starting point is 01:01:32 No, this is more of just like yeah, it's like it's very steamy. Yeah, Ming has done that Very stupid. It's not that hot. He calls it dickroom He calls it dickroom. That's just a style. But so this big room guy starts leaning on certain women. Like you got to have sex with me and is like like a like a Harvey Weinstein type thing basically. And he gets arrested and he won't he won't testify in the deposition. And next thing you know he's out there fucking practicing in a different country. And you see all these women who know he's a rapist.
Starting point is 01:02:10 They know it. He's, I think he was in France. And they're all surrounding him. And I'm like, how am I supposed to support women and me too, and all this other shit when every fucking time you turn around, they're doing things that fly in the face of it The best way I can support me to is by not me to and somebody By by being in a position where I'm not like hey, baby fucking if you want to keep your drone
Starting point is 01:02:38 It's the only way no, I mean like what other ways are there that you I could go out there with a pink pussy hat like Ladondo and Fucking you know show my face. I see. He has a pussy hat. Quircy does. It's shaped like a vagina. Well, you know what I'm talking about, right? Like the pink hat that they wear for the women's march.
Starting point is 01:02:53 Oh, no, I had no idea. I think it's supposed to represent a post. It's like a post? No, I mean, I would like to do that. I would like to do that. That's not what you wanted. It's not like a cartoonish looking hat. It looks like a...
Starting point is 01:03:05 Okay. That was great. Yeah, then I'd wear it. Yeah, I mean, I think that like there's a world of difference between like someone going to work and their boss actually harassing them. People who willingly join cults. Yeah, there, there, those, those women. But this one, no, this wasn't a cult.
Starting point is 01:03:22 God damn it. The, the, the, the... It just disappeared. That was like the oddest thing. It's like you have some sort of electrical discharge on your fingers. But this one, no, this wasn't a cult. The, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,ah blah blah. Um, girl. Look, man, I watch these documenting the the big room thing is like, no, people paid to go to it. You know, people paid to, uh, it was a course where they could learn and they could become instructors, but the women, he liked the more favored ones were the ones that he kind of like tried to pressure into banging a man shit. Even though like the lady was like, I saw him as a mentor and nothing else and I never in a million years imagined that like he cornered me
Starting point is 01:04:13 and start this shit. Yeah, but you can't blame any one gender dominant. It's both they fucking they're just so lost and so fucking dying to find some sort of meaning that I mean the fucking there's death cults that fucking people will kill themselves for these people too so I mean there's a when we're watching just lost souls I told Mary Beth I said like if Edgar had left yeah and Pam happened to run into a movie yeah she'd shave her head and she'd be fucking all the shaved heads. Yep. We'd have no money, you know. You'd be in a fucking airport,
Starting point is 01:04:49 fucking chanting for fucking money. Yeah, yeah. He'd be banging a fucking tamarind being like, I don't know, this is my life. You want from me? Tell him Steve. If these monies robes were made out of meandies oh meandies, I never, I never mind I could be the long enough show for meandies is always okay you wanna talk about it, yeah the holidays, they came and went so fast and they'll be missed but we also think it's time to just throw in some comfy pass and chill out
Starting point is 01:05:19 I wore my myandies lounge pants quite a bit over that Christmas break yeah yeah I like them I didn't care for the Star Wars ones they seem too busy and again they just stop sending me these things I don't get them. They're supposed to all go to Stacey I don't know why I don't know why they're doing it. You got an assistant why don't you fucking have your assistant? Maybe. I don't know. I'm just not getting them I don't might be a time to lay into her I fucking read her the riot act. Yeah. I'll be like, it's time for your performance review.
Starting point is 01:05:47 Just do this big room high yoga. How do you think these Mjondis will come in? She would have had a hell of a sexual harassment case against me. budget. I'm fucking 20 years of trying to get in their pants. That's true. You understand that out loud? What?
Starting point is 01:06:04 Should you admit that though? Should I admit it? Yeah. I would literally have no defect from the outside of the organization. I couldn't even wait. I have to be left straight. I guess how much did I give her?
Starting point is 01:06:14 Yeah. So she was in. I started in the 90s when shit like this was acceptable. She went pursuing a girl that you were interested in was not only it was lauded. It was seen as something where it's like, all right, he's, he's starry eye. He's in love, right? Most of the starry eye thing he ever did to woo somebody where you look back and you're like, I can't believe I did that.
Starting point is 01:06:40 Like hold up, hold up, hold the boom box up at her window. Excluding dog marathons Which sounds fucking great to me what Sitting there watching TV in a room where I know nobody's gonna bother me watching a show. I like oh It's awesome It does sound awesome, and I've said that's what I that's what my Christmas. My new year's was good And I think really went for you never you never did anything like over the top Case when I was in my early 20s and that that's did you but never did anything like you know like that kind of like say anything Kind of moment where you did that iconic thing where you just did something like the boom box over your head with your favorite song
Starting point is 01:07:16 Well in the rain You know, I never threw a girl up on a pinball machine like you accused So totally different vibe I don't know is that still is that throw a girl up on a pinball machine like the accused She'll totally different vibe I don't know. Is that still is that sort of thing? Still coveted by girls like the guy who will go out in the rain with the boom box underneath the window Some women I think yeah, that could still work. I mean, it's like you're not like as I said not like One step away from getting a restraining And you're still showing up at the restaurant. Are your suggestions 20 years later, he should go outside Stacey's window with the boombox.
Starting point is 01:07:50 Yeah, what's that? Every rose has just not every road. What's the Sony son? Not the but a good time. Come on, Stacey. Well, why can't you just admitting to like, I realize that you're the rose on the thorn, but I got a nice prick to me. I don't know. You know what? I'm glad that I'm not young in this era. You wouldn't survive, would you? I just think it's it's a confusing, I think. Well, you know, the rules change so frequently. You're like, I don't know what to say. I don't know what to do. Is this inappropriate? Change up here, but like on a person the person level
Starting point is 01:08:31 You told me something recently about a friend saying something to you that I was pretty surprised about like it like you You said something and they were like that bothers me. Oh, yeah, and I was very surprised that someone our age would have any thought about that kind of and it wasn't that bad No, it wasn't I made a joke and and someone who I'm very close to was like I'm not I don't appreciate that joke I feel uncomplicated. We surprised taking it back fucking completely. I was like really? I was like oh People think that I'm not sensitive about something Oh, people think that I'm not sensitive about something. You felt your you were you were happy for them for them to just straight up. You like put you on the spot. Make you feel awkward. I didn't make them. My feeling was just like, yeah, that would that would be like for somebody. I'm close to
Starting point is 01:09:21 Yeah, once in a devil's game with Sunday Jeff and I'm just sitting there And I'm fucking screaming at the ref and I say something like you know as when you're in at a game You may say the ref suck something yeah, and then son and then son they dress is like hey, I'm not comfortable with that I'd be like Really fucking chill the fucking the mood of the game though you would not go to another game with them never right It's what this press yeah, but the fucking ref can't suck a dick if he makes the wrong call Yeah, it makes me think maybe some of the fucking rough can't suck a dick if he makes the wrong call. Yeah, it makes me think maybe some of the fans like sucking dick too. You guys tell me what, tell me something.
Starting point is 01:09:58 But you show accustomed to people not being affected by the thing you said. I mean this person is 10 years younger than me. So there's a generation of kids. Oh, okay, there we go. Dad explains it. So that says a lot. And you know what, like, what am I gonna do? I could either be like, double down.
Starting point is 01:10:13 Why could you? Yeah. Well, you think that was bad. I'll just put the N word in front of whatever I just said. It wasn't the N word. No, it was not. It was not. I mean, you put that in front of what I really just said to double that.
Starting point is 01:10:27 So I was just like, you know what? I was like, all right. And then I moved on. But it is, you know what? It is that thing of like this person, I will never be yourself. Well, I'll know not to, yeah, as much as I like this person, it is like you can't be yourself around them them 100% yourself They're a now a list of people that I would not
Starting point is 01:10:49 You're cognizant of them in the room now I'm maybe not gonna hang out as much because I'm just like we just I mean, I don't want to fucking think about it I'm like it it is it is a thing. We're just like I just don't It can it cannot not be a thing once it wants to I don't think they were wrong to say it I mean, I why don't we just pull the curtain back? It was Nina rat and you said I read Yeah, I don't think it's weird because I don't think they're wrong to say it and I'm glad that they felt Comfortable enough to me to say it, but the other hand what I said was so minor that
Starting point is 01:11:22 It's like a waste And then on the other hand, because you can only do it once. You don't do it. Right. You don't even want. But I'm just like, all right, well, what you've just done is illustrated yourself as a person that I don't want to hang out with that much.
Starting point is 01:11:40 Because I don't want to watch my mouth around my friends. I just don't want to. And it's just like, and if I have to watch my mouth around my friends. I just don't want to. And it's just like and if I have to watch my mouth around you Then then that's all right. I'll see you when I see you. That's it. No problem. You know, some meandies It's cold out. Starting point is 01:12:47 and that is it for young. Now before we started we you came in tonight and you're not in the greatest of moods. It would be fair to say right. I really didn't you know kind of shocked me and took as I was not feeling great too. I don't know if you guys heard. Tom Brady was eliminated from the playoffs this weekend. I did and it was really... Maxwell brought it to my attention. I was like, why is he saying something about Tom Brady and then I went looked it up and then I had the toilet. Yeah, they're saying it's over. They're saying it's him. Over for him or or? He said it's not.
Starting point is 01:13:23 Yeah, but I mean, I don't know if there's a lot of places left for him to play. So it could be the end of this is like seeing that. True because I've said it's not over for me several times and many people like you never get it ever started. You think a 42 year old can a 43 year old by time, by the time the next season rolls or anything, there's a place for him. I think if we were talking about any 43 year old, maybe not. But we ain't talking about any 43 year old.
Starting point is 01:13:48 Really, you think so, huh? I think he's got another one. That brings me up a little bit. Yeah, I think he's got another one in him. One more. One more. One more. I don't see.
Starting point is 01:13:58 I mean, they just didn't make the playoffs. They made the playoffs. They lost in the wild card. They lost in the wild card. Yeah. But he didn't play all that great. Did you win fucking 10 times in a row? Like if you told me you won 10 times in row, I'd be like, I believe it like I just wouldn't But yeah to discount and to count them out and be like it's all on him seems a little strange
Starting point is 01:14:22 But I don't know was it feel can you imagine what it must feel like? I don't know, I don't know how you can do this, but to know the country was celebrating in your downfall, except for a pocket in Massachusetts. How do you compartmentalize that, right? Mm-hmm. How do you deal with that though, when you know the whole country, parts of Europe are
Starting point is 01:14:47 actually happy about that you may not be able to play anymore. They're just like, oh yes, I'm so glad to see him get his come up in. I'm so glad to see him. Let me check reddit. Challenge Steve David.
