Starting point is 00:00:07 You should do an upskirt of you and your cock was showing? Yes. Yeah. My balls were hanging out. You're right. I totally forgot about that. Thank you. Why are your dicky so tight?
Starting point is 00:00:35 Why are your shorts so small? Why did I wear skin? This is a question that everybody asked. You don't think that's just a convenient excuse? Oh. I got bumped on that. I like caught now. Tell him, Steve Dave.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Tell him Steve Dave. Q's here, Walt's here, get him to here, I'm here. All right, let's go. All right. Wow. My wife put me in such a fucking foul mood before I left for this. Get out of here. I'll talk about it during the ads because it kind of ties into that.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Okay. The blue chew ads? No, not blue shoe. Unfortunately. If only it was that easy. She got me good and fucking. Really? All right up.
Starting point is 00:01:28 She leveled some sarcasm at me that I did not fucking appreciate. Nor deserve. Really? Yeah. Fuck it. You get a little sensitive to sarcasm, are you? A little bit. I'll tell you.
Starting point is 00:01:42 You are worked up. I see it. I can't believe I don't recognize the signs as soon as I walked in. I'll read this to you. So Mary Beth wants to do a live stream with Sage. Okay. All right. So she's scheduled it for September.
Starting point is 00:01:57 10th, 7 in the evening, Eastern time. I'm hosting a live chat, casual hang on Rosie's YouTube. So go to subscribe to Rosie Joe. That's R-O-S-I-E-J-O dot studio on YouTube or visit rosyjo. Dot studio for everything we're up to in the Johnson's house, which I don't know what the fuck that is. Yeah. It's me reading and everybody else fucking sitting around.
Starting point is 00:02:18 So you weren't aware of this? No, I was aware of it. Well, what's the point of the live stream? Like, why, what's the point? For the hell of it. Just for the fun of it? Yeah. She wants me to be honest, so I'll dip in.
Starting point is 00:02:28 I'll say something that some fucking third-grade blogger I'll get a hold of and fucking I'll get in trouble for. But all I said was, I said, do you have a setup in mind? You know, for the cameras and stuff. Yeah. And she fucking got all sarcastic with me. And she was like, yeah, I do.
Starting point is 00:02:49 And I was like, whoa, hold, pump your fucking brakes, bitch. Because the last time we did this, you didn't have it fucking all set up. The cameras sucked. We had one microphone. Nobody could fucking hear us. All right. Calm down.
Starting point is 00:03:02 And didn't she do an upskirt of you and your cock was showing? Yes. Yeah. My balls were hanging out. You're right. I totally forgot about that. Thank you. I'm so a reasonable question.
Starting point is 00:03:16 Yeah. Yeah. I'm like, do you have it down? And then like, as I got pissed off and I was like, you know, I'm just fucking leaving early. I'm leaving for the studio early. And then she said something else. And I can't really.
Starting point is 00:03:26 fucking can't recall what it was, but then she was like, oh, I'm just joking. And I'm like, because I seem like I'm in the mood to joke around right now. That's what I seem like. Wow. The honeymoon's over. Stormed out. It was a long honeymoon now.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Storm the fuck out. Six years. It was a long honeymoon. You think this is the first time she's annoyed a moment? Not even the first time today. But that got me mad because that's, that's, that's, it was so unwarranted. Yeah. It's like if, if she had had gone smooth.
Starting point is 00:03:56 And all the cameras were placed correctly. Sure. And your balls were in your shorts? My balls were. I better believe I'm going to be wearing sweats. I mean, yeah, if like everything had been smooth last time, I wouldn't even said anything. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:04:11 It was just a gentle like, hey, do you have everything in mind to like set up? Like, in my mind, I'm like, maybe she needs something. Like maybe I can maybe fucking Victor or Chuck will come over and fucking run through this setup with her, whatever the fuck. Didn't deserve it. No. This was undeserved. Unwarranted. Woof.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Yeah, it got me mad. Wow, you are fucking riled. Mm-hmm. Yeah, oh, I was fucking. And then I got so fucking annoyed on the way here because I'm sitting. Walt, I don't know if you've noticed this around this area, but like the light turns red. You can expect at least one car to go throw it. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:04:44 At least one possibly two. I know why. I have a theory on that. Really? What is it? New Jersey has the longest yellow lights I've ever seen in any state. Yeah. Your yellow lights are fucking.
Starting point is 00:04:55 they're a challenge because you start slowing down and it's still yellow and you're just like, well, I mean, fuck it. Might as well just go. Might as well just go. That happens to me since I've been coming to the state since 19 years old. That has happened to me at every single red light. I'm like, why is this yellow light so long? I don't get it.
Starting point is 00:05:14 On Staten Island, they're like, it's like green, yellow, red. Here it's a green yellow. How's everybody doing today? Everybody having a good time? Are you slowing down? Are you doing great? All right. shit guys red red red so
Starting point is 00:05:26 I don't you know it happens to me every time yeah I've learned to either stop stops 20 feet in advance because I know I'm not going to make it or to speed up and get through right this guy was like this this light turned red and I would give it a good like
Starting point is 00:05:43 probably two to three seconds yeah he could have stopped there's a cop in the opposite fucking of the opposite part of the intersection and I'm like this guy's done he's toast nope guy just keeps on going. The cop goes through the light.
Starting point is 00:05:57 I noticed he's on the fucking phone. The cop's on the phone? The cop's on the phone. I was like, fuck everybody. Fuck it. Those are my chances. Yeah. Why do we even try for anything in this fucking world?
Starting point is 00:06:12 Because the alternative chaos. The world's just fucking falling apart. Yeah. Oh, we're not in that. No, you know, we're not in that. I mean, you still go to a supermarket. Yeah, it's true. You know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:06:22 Well, unless you're in New York and you're going to one of the fucking state sponsored fucking grocery stores. They ran out of food? Did they open them already? No, they haven't even opened them. And those free buses. Have you been taking any of the free buses? No.
Starting point is 00:06:32 Oh, neither is anyone else. Oh, I see what you're. Yeah. No, no. Yeah. So that's how it started for me before I got here. And thank you for reminding me about the balls because I wouldn't want to make that fucking mistake twice.
Starting point is 00:06:47 It's funny. My reaction driving here was I, I was in L.A. last week, I had to leave. I had to come home early. Something happened, which I don't want to talk about on air, but I, you know, I'll tell you guys after. Right, right. And it, it, it has
Starting point is 00:07:04 leaving, I had stuff I wanted to do in L.A. I wasn't able to do. And the reason I came home was such a fucking bummer. I've, I've been like, in a depression, like, all fucking, like, I should have called your boy. Yeah, you know what it was? Those, I actually gave me were, like, fucking knocking me out,
Starting point is 00:07:21 like a bull with the head, like a night and stuff. What did he give you? Zana. Oh, Xana. Oh, I couldn't understand the word. And driving here today. Those are placebos, by the way. I would never give away real drugs.
Starting point is 00:07:37 Yeah. That's what they're going to go. But driving here today, I felt a real gratitude for you guys. real gratitude to you guys because I was I was in this includes you get them because I was driving here and I just felt my mood I was like oh fuck we're gonna go
Starting point is 00:08:03 we're gonna go we're gonna have fun I really love the games we played last episode and stuff I got a game oh awesome right so and I and I started like I felt like things lit and I was like oh yeah oh yeah and I got here and I walked by the time I walked in the store I was like this is great like we're gonna have some fun today and stuff like that I
Starting point is 00:08:20 so I had a real continue that real sense of gratitude to you guys. Like, I just love you guys and I love doing the show. So I had the opposite. The complete opposite morning it started shitty and like started personal. Yeah, well, I was glad I was on my way to it though. Is that or is there an underlying thing? Because that doesn't seem like it's, you know, and everybody has their little buttons, you know, that.
Starting point is 00:08:40 Right. Some people have more. Mine is being condescended to talk to like I'm an asshole. That's what I don't like. We're just trying to help. Yeah. They're trying to help for just like double checking. It's like, you're asking me to tell the audience.
Starting point is 00:08:51 hey, come to this fucking live stream and check it out. It's going to be worth it. It's going to be worth your time. It wasn't last time, unless you like balls. Who doesn't? That was the big takeaway, bro.
Starting point is 00:09:07 I don't know what you're getting mad about. That's all everybody talked about was the fact that does he know that his sprotum is pulling a Sharon Stone right now? Why do you fuck with my shorts so short? Why? Why?
Starting point is 00:09:21 Happen long nuts now. Yeah. Why are your dicky so tight? Yeah. Why are your shirts so small? Why did I wear skiing? This is the questions everybody asked. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:31 Except me. Except me. Why is he hard around Stan Lee? Who wouldn't be? That's so funny. Yeah. That was the trigger. It was the, the, the, the, the, the, the, sorry.
Starting point is 00:09:50 sarcastic sarcasm, condescension, where it's just like, like I said, if this hadn't happened once already, I wouldn't have said anything. Yeah. Is she one prone to use sarcasm as a way to communicate with you? Enrage me? Or is this something she rare? What's your love language in that house? I would say it's pretty rare. Pretty rare.
Starting point is 00:10:13 Pretty rare. How about you? Do you use sarcasm to maybe once in a while to get your point across? We would have to check the ring cameras, but... Do you feel you do? Because, I mean, I know. Probably. Probably.
Starting point is 00:10:25 My wife has done it to me, too. Mm-hmm. You know, I think that's... I don't know what, like, I don't know what it was. Like, every sitcom couple, I mean, King of Queens. I mean, that's all they're doing is throwing sarcasm back and forth. Yeah. Honeymooners. Honeymooners.
Starting point is 00:10:38 I think it's because you were trying to help her. And you were made to feel stupid for trying to help. I think you're right. Yeah. I think you're right. Yeah. I know you well enough to know what's going on there. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:10:46 you felt there was like that feeling inside you that like oh I'm an idiot right and it was like oh that yeah it was like that immediately I was like I'm done I'll be like I said fuck you I'm leaving and uh she was like what's wrong I was just kidding around and I was like you weren't kidding around yeah you were not kidding around oh but tell you what you think I didn't like you know know to to make sure it's set up right I was like it did it last time that's about the volume I said it at yeah yeah I know you it's just You didn't like, you were helping. I was trying to help.
Starting point is 00:11:19 You were called the fucking basically an asshole. Yeah, hey, go tell your audience to fucking tune in and listen. Just shut the fuck up about anything that's gone wrong in the past. Just get your balls out. Yeah, get your balls out. Shut your mouth. Hollywood really has swept. flipped on its head.
Starting point is 00:11:35 I got some, I got some, uh, some I was excited to say I can't say how, how I saw what I saw. Or I can't say what I saw. But I can tell you this It's a good lead off You'll understand now You know how like we weren't that hot on Evil Dead Burn Right So the next movie shot already
Starting point is 00:11:54 Evil Dead Raff is already in the It's already shot And I got to see some Really Dude Fucking It's gonna be awesome Like it is going
Starting point is 00:12:06 Dude I literally Do I not have goosebumps right now? You do What I saw It's also fucking 10 degrees in here I like that part What I saw was like, I can't fucking wait to see this movie. Right.
Starting point is 00:12:20 And I wanted to tell you. All right. It's like they're fucking, don't give up on Evil Dead yet. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Evil Dead, I feel like I would have to watch the next one anyway, even though Burns sucked. But now, knowing that.
Starting point is 00:12:33 You look forward to it. When's it coming out? I think late 2027, early, 2008. I don't really. It seemed to be a while, but I saw more than one thing. And I'll tell you all right, everything was awesome. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:12:49 Yeah. So there you go. I like to hear that. Yeah, I thought that might make you feel a little bit better. Yeah, it does, actually. Yeah. I guess I'll look forward to in fucking two years. April 728.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Oh, oh, April, 2028. Oh, there you go. What is going on? One of his fucking 10. Yeah. My doctor's trying to reschedule an appointment. Don't try and throw that out as an excuse for the phone going off. Look at that.
Starting point is 00:13:14 You see that shit. We're right to the help. Those beeps now. Turning the ringer off. Jesus. It's like Mors coat. It's like R2D2 is fucking in the room. Turn it on my wringer off.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Oh, my God. Oh, so this Sunday I'm going to see Iron Maiden. Where are? It's like someplace in North Jersey. It's not like the Prudential Center. It's like a, I think it's a. Red Bull Stadium or something? Okay.
Starting point is 00:13:46 I think that's... Oh, that's... Sports Illustrated Stadium. Sports Illustrated Stadium. That's what they call the Red Bulls thing now. They renamed Sports Illustrated, or he just had the wrong name. Oh, I don't know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:13:59 I don't put it on the screen. You do not need the distractions that you come with you putting everything on the fucking television screen. And we have guys that act like cavemen who have never seen fire before. Yeah. That's true. When that TV goes on, my eyes are like, what? I'm looking at the TV. TV.
Starting point is 00:14:18 Movie pictures. Any boobs? Or do boobbies. Get them. Hardo boobies. So who's opening for Maiden? Now, this is what I've been told and what I've read, and I'm fucking really hoping that it's the case. First anthrax.
Starting point is 00:14:35 Whoa! That should be way more excited for anthrax. I'm very excited for anthrax. Mega death, which I've seen like a couple times. massive show. And then Iron Maiden, yeah. Oh, wow, that's a great bill. Who's going to this one?
Starting point is 00:14:48 Me and Maribeth, yeah. Oh. I got tickets for her for our anniversary, which leads me back to the story where we went to Atlantic City on the anniversary, the actual day of the 25th. And we went to the Borgata, which we went to Jimmy's Bachelor Park. Oh, right, right. At the old homestead steakhouse, and that's where I took her to dinner. That's fan. Very fan.
Starting point is 00:15:12 The first time around. The first time around it was fancy. They've changed their... It's such a short amount of time? Dude, halfway through the fucking dinner, I got out my phone and started recording. And we were calling it at the Karenversary because we were complaining about everything. Wow. Because everything was worth fucking complaining about.
Starting point is 00:15:33 Okay. From where they sat us to like the... A turlet? We may as well have been. We may as well have been. We were sitting, sat next to a bus station. where they were piling up all these fucking Bus station, Atlantic City.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Oh, oh. Oh, no, not the bus. I was like, you're by a window. I just imagine like there was a, you were by a window with a bus station outside of it. And I'm like, wow, what does that view like? You know, all the tramps get number. No, it was like a, like, you know, with the dishes and everything.
Starting point is 00:16:01 Yeah, and it was like clanking and loud and fucking food piling up. And then like they, you know, they have it on one of those stands, you know. And then they bring another stand out. And then they put all the new food next to it, you know? Right. Which is kind of gross. Sure. So we're waiting and we're waiting and then we're like, you know what?
Starting point is 00:16:18 We're not in a rush. So I'm not going to fucking bitch that it's taking 45 minutes to get the dinner. I'm not going to bitch that it was 10 minutes before anybody even came over and got drinks. Any of that. That's the fuck the way. I can't stand it. But I didn't bitch. I'm like, I'm not going to make a big deal about it.
Starting point is 00:16:33 So we wait, we wait, we wait. And then they fucking bring the wrong dinner out to her. And they're like, so we're sorry. We're so sorry. We're so sorry. They take everything away and come back with it in a little while. I can tell that they just kept it, like, heated. They just left yours under the light.
Starting point is 00:16:50 They just left my own under the light. They left the mac and cheese under the light. So what you want to? You re-cook it? Yours, too? Or just leave yours? I mean, that's what a good restaurant would do. Re-cook everybody's? Re-cook it.
Starting point is 00:17:00 Yeah, recook it. Re-cook it. Wow. At those prices? Okay. Yeah, that's, you know, if you're going to factor that in, but, like, I don't know if most restaurants can afford to recook it because one meal was wrong, that now all the meals at the table have to be recooked.
Starting point is 00:17:14 Right. Well, that seems to be the line they tick because I believe I got the same steak back. No, they didn't. They didn't recook it. I don't think they did, no. They said they did. Well, that's not great. Oh, they said they did.
Starting point is 00:17:25 That's not great. The mac and cheese was crusty. The broccoli was so fucking underdone that I was like, I'm going to break my teeth. I'm not even going to eat this shit. And so we just sat there and recorded and I'm going to put it together and maybe we'll put it on Mary Beth's channel. Oh, you're going to shame old homestead, huh? All the homestead should be shamed.
Starting point is 00:17:45 Wow. Yeah. I can't tell you. And it wasn't cheap. Walt knows. It's not a cheap place to go. No, that's an expensive place. I was like, you know, it's our anniversary.
Starting point is 00:17:53 You want to usually go out to a place like this. Ritzie or expensive. I won't say Ritzy. I'll say expensive. Sure. Normally I would say old homestead is a great steakhouse. Yeah. Manhattan, certainly an institution.
Starting point is 00:18:03 I have zero complaints about the last time we went. We went for Jimmy's bachelor party. This time, totally different experience. You got the C squad. Yeah. Oh. Yeah. Rough. The server was good.
Starting point is 00:18:14 He was like super apologetic. I mean, because the server didn't bring us our drink. Some other guy did. So I assumed it was his fault. So you never voiced your displeasure in the moment? Nope. Nah. I was like, fuck it.
Starting point is 00:18:26 Spring it online then. True nature of a Karen. Going directly to Yelp. So I saw this week the opposite. Really? Somebody like multiple people losing their minds. Oh, really? Because I was in Burger King picking up an order for somebody who wasn't ready.
Starting point is 00:18:45 And Burger King apparently, I didn't even know this. Like, Burger King launched new chicken nuggets. And that should be something that, like, you would be. Did they not normally have chicken nuggets? Well, they changed the type. They changed it. I think it's their brand new, new recipe. Yeah, redid the nuggets and the sauces.
Starting point is 00:19:03 Okay. So now they're crispier nuggets. Okay. Yeah. And a lot of these fast food. food places now, you don't even place an order or face-to-face on anybody. You go to a kiosk and you just put,
Starting point is 00:19:17 punching in on a giant iPad. I mean, an iPad the size of a wall, of the poker table. And everybody's ordering these new chicken nuggets. And then it turns out, like somebody says to one person, hey, we're out of the new chicken nuggets. I'm sorry. And they're like, well, why'd you let me order them?
Starting point is 00:19:36 Because, yeah, we didn't know. And like, like, other people starting order them. So then they'll start the buzz about the place. Like, I've never seen Burger can crowd it since I was a kid. Right. But now I can't even believe that in this day and age that the introduction or the, you know, introducing nuggets still can get people fucking out at our houses. Yeah. It seemed like it shocks me that people were cared this much.
Starting point is 00:19:59 And once. Why were you there? Picking up DoorDish. I wasn't there for nuggets. If I was, I was, I was, I would, like, what ape shit. What do you mean? The rat on a nurse. No, no.
Starting point is 00:20:13 It's like the scene from It's a Wonderful Life. I just couldn't believe how some people reacted to the fact they couldn't get the new nuggets. One guy was like, like he overheard it. He's like, did I hear you just say there's no new nuggets? They're like, this is a young guy. It is 20s. He's a manager there with only another cook. That's it.
Starting point is 00:20:31 One cook and a manager, they have those bare-bone staff at like 6 o'clock at night, which is dinner time. I can't believe I have two people in there. The guy took his receipt and he was like, I'll give you something else. What would you like? And he's like, he just threw the receipt at him. Oh, he threw the receipt at him. And the guy goes, just looks at it. He goes, he goes, he says, there's nothing I could do.
Starting point is 00:20:51 He goes. Oh, wow. That poor kid. He folded up and just threw it at him. Jesus Christ. And the kid handled himself well, huh? He did not lose his temper. He was just like, look, he goes, it's not my fault.
Starting point is 00:21:04 He goes, we got, what we got if we had more, he goes, we'd fucking prepare him. Yeah. He was just like, he goes, I want my back, I'm going to another Burger King. He goes, he goes, I don't know if they have him there either,
Starting point is 00:21:16 he goes. He's still trying to help this guy after he threw the thing at him. And I'm just like, well, this is Burger King dropping a ball big time. You're fucking rolling out new nuggets. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:27 And you sell out the first week they're out. Well, they might, you know, there's, I mean, obviously, there's a demand.
Starting point is 00:21:33 I mean, they might have made a demand. Yeah. They're like, people can't even get them. That's how good. Oh, You think this was a fucking conscious decision to make them?
Starting point is 00:21:41 I don't think anything's by accident anymore. Make them like, hey, you can't get them. Yeah, because why can't you get them? I guess the demand was so big. Right. They're fucking slaughtering chickens right now to make more. I wouldn't be surprised. Yeah, but I saw the worst, like some of the, you know, the worst behavior because they couldn't get chicken nuggets.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I was just a bystander going like, wow, I can't believe that this is, this is what moves people's fucking buttons. That harkens back to a couple years ago when Popeyes do Popeye's open and ran out of chicken. Oh, really? Like, how am I supposed to feed my family? Boom, boom, boom. Yeah. What the fuck? They took guns out. Didn't somebody die over
Starting point is 00:22:23 a fucking Popeye's chicken sandwich? Didn't you get shot because he wanted it? Yeah. I don't remember that. Oh, yeah. I'm almost positive that happened. I almost want to interview this kid that the manager that had the thing. I remember when I worked and I worked at Blockbuster for a long time, like four years or some of that. And
Starting point is 00:22:38 when movies ran out, people would get like, fucking, they would scream and I would just be like, get the fuck out of here. Like, I never once took it. I'd be like, get the fuck out of here before I rate your account. I'd say shit like that. Can you do that? Yeah. You could erase accounts? I would be like, I'll delete your fucking account. You had that kind of mojo?
Starting point is 00:22:56 I was assistant manager, brother. I was assistant manager. But I'd be like, get the fuck out. Like, it would never occur to me to let someone throw a, but it was a different era because nobody could record. It's like, I just rolled this piece paper up. And he was like, oh, well, I'll give you a Big Mac. I'll give you this. And he was like, I don't want
Starting point is 00:23:14 a Big Mac. Yeah. And he just bounced up his desk. Oh, I would have been fucking. Blockbuster days. That would have been fucking. You're fucked. You're right. It was the 90s. It was different. I would have a phone of video. Motherfucker, you were
Starting point is 00:23:28 there's a ban on you? We used to do that shit all the time. We used to put, you could do notes in the accounts. Really? And if somebody was like, you know, not to the point where they're pissing you're off. Like, porn. But no, you would put things where you would just, you would just write unhelpful.
Starting point is 00:23:43 And like, you would be in and be like, don't be helpful to this guy. Like, it was like, it would be like, this guy's a dick. This guy yelled it. This person. So we would do that. It was before the internet. You guys are kind of like, you know. Oh, it was like the big bling screen with the orange letter on it.
Starting point is 00:23:57 You know what I mean? And it was like, it was that error with that. Right. But you could still leave notes on accounts and we would leave notes about people. Is that an abuse of power get him? What? like going in and actually like deleting account names because you know that would be tad amount too it was a different time it's up to me to decide it's my power yeah might as
Starting point is 00:24:19 well wield it right yeah fuck you guys it's a free again they can start up another account yeah so again did somebody get shot over a chicken sandwich so there was a they were stabbed over a chicken sandwich but somebody did brandish a gun because Popeye's ran out of a chicken sandwich at another location. I doubt it was at the Burger King where I was fucking picking up food. That is not the kind of Burger King. I was expecting. Which one?
Starting point is 00:24:42 What a middle town? The one over here? Hazlet. Okay. Two years ago. Somebody flashed the gun at me at Blockbuster on Highland Boulevard back in the late 90s. Over, over a similar situation. I was like, get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck out.
Starting point is 00:24:57 I followed him out into the parking lot and he went and he did the lift. What did you do when that happened? I go, what are you? A cop? I go, what do you think? I think you're going to pull a gun right now. I was like, get the fuck out of you. I was going to pull the gun. I was like, go ahead. I know you're a cop and you're not going to pull the fucking gun.
Starting point is 00:25:12 He got in his car and drove away. Nine out of ten times. You can pull that, pull that, like, you know, that ploy of like call him out on it. What are you going to do? But there's that time. This is what I'm going to do. Yeah. But, you know, I had the guy in front of me.
Starting point is 00:25:26 I was looking at him. You know, you assess a little bit about what you deal with. I just knew he was a cop. Oh, okay. I didn't know for a fact he was a cop. I just growing up on Staten Island, everybody's dad, it was a cop, a sanitation of firemen. Okay. So that's what's, so it's like, you just know.
Starting point is 00:25:44 You know what I mean? Like, like that vibe. I just got that vibe. And of course, I was 19, 20. My brain wasn't fully formed. So, you know, there was that tough guy thing going on. I don't think I would roll them bones. I would be like, oh, you have a gun.
Starting point is 00:25:58 Would you like a copy of grassy? Yeah, I can fly. Let me go find that movie. you're looking for. Go to a different place and rent it and bring it on back. Let me tell you. Let me tell you how sweet the juices when you see his face realize that I got him. And he's got to get in the car and drive away.
Starting point is 00:26:14 He's like, I'm not going to kill this guy over. He called my, like, he saw it. Right, yeah. He called my fucking bluff. I got to get in the car and drive away. That's a dangerous game of chicken. Yeah. Oh, fuck yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:25 I wouldn't do it today. In no fucking world would I do that today. I would not. But back then, you know, An angry young BQ. An angry young BQ. An angry young BQ was brain, not frontal cortex, an all there yet. Still developing.
Starting point is 00:26:41 When did that cortex close, you think? I think we said like 24 or 25 for guys. I think it's around there. Did you think yours close at 25? I would say a little bit later, right? Probably 35. When I didn't get to fight with that guy in Q.S., I could have fucking mopped the floor with me.
Starting point is 00:26:56 Yeah. I mean, that was alcohol, though. That was definitely booze-fueled, but still, I think this guy would have fucking disqualified. destroyed him. I mean, he wouldn't fucking. This guy was so big. I was like,
Starting point is 00:27:05 QQ. You could have like, picking my lips off like up in his face. Like jazy pedal. Is that the reacher effect? It was me being a stupid asshole. Oh, I got to say,
Starting point is 00:27:17 impressed. No fear. No fear. There was no fear. There was no fear. Again, want to do it today. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:23 And, but that was before I got in the fire department. So. And I got on the fire department at 28. So, you know, let's say. And even then the job I chose, was running at the fucking burning buildings, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:27:34 So, but I'd say about like once I had something to lose is when I started. Okay. Like that, that'll help close the cortex. Right. Like once I became a member of the FDMI, I was like, oh, I represent something bigger than myself, blah, blah, blah, blah. But anyway, that's why I'd love to interview that kid and be like, how did you not fucking jump across the counter? How did you continue to help the guy after it? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:27:57 But who knows? There was a time when, uh, oh, God, this fucking. pissed me off. And it was only because of Q that I didn't do anything. I went down to, again, the Borgata. And the jokers were playing the Borgata and Q invited me down. And I think Sal got me a room. And so
Starting point is 00:28:14 I said, you know, I'm here. I'm a guest. And the guy was like, okay, you're a guest of Brian Quinn in that voice. And I was like, and he goes and get somebody else and he's like, this guy's saying that he's a guest of Brian Quinn. Like I'm and I'm like, why the fuck what I
Starting point is 00:28:30 say it on my asshole? I mean, your name's on a list somewhere. Yeah, I was on a list and thankfully, fuck, and I was like, I'm going to fucking smack this cock sucker right across his face and leave. And then I was like, but you know what? Yeah. That's not going to bode well for BQ. I appreciate that.
Starting point is 00:28:44 Yeah, so let me just fuck it. I was like, I, like, Mary Beth is like, let me handle, let me handle it. And then right then I saw Shea walked through and she handled the whole thing. Yeah, great. But that was a moment of like, I'm going to fucking kill this cucks on. Thank you. Motherfucker. Some stuff I'll never forget.
Starting point is 00:28:59 Never. It's just burned in your head. Slites. Yeah. I'm just like. Like, he's trying to make me look like a douchebag for no reason. I'm like, I wasn't like, hey, guys. I didn't pull up in a fucking fancy car.
Starting point is 00:29:08 And he's fucking working. He's in the hospital. Yeah. His job is to be like, okay. Hospitable. Yes. Yes. Yeah, he's not supposed to be like scrutinizing and like, I'm going to sniff this out.
Starting point is 00:29:19 It's like, hey, this is the guy. He says he's here. Let me check. And that's it. And the story. You would think so. All of a sudden, he's the fucking hotel inspector. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:29:27 Fucking inspector gadget. Shit, fucking dickhead. Motherfucker. Oh. wonder if he's still there. Oh, God. So a lot of a lot of death that I feel like sort of, not doesn't really affect me and you, Walt, so much as BQ.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Uh-oh. Well, Dahlie. I can tell you right. Oh, yeah. Dolly, I thought of you when, uh. Yeah, that was a bummer. It was a bummer. That's a fucking loss to America, man.
Starting point is 00:29:55 I mean, we knew it was going to happen, but yeah, she's just one. I think that that, that, what you think that I felt about it, I think a lot of people. Yeah. I made a sort of an offhanded joke to somebody. Yeah. They flip the fuck out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:11 It's the only part. What do you mean a dick about this for? I said to my friend, I was like, wow, I was like, what it must be like to like die and for the vast majority of people to be like, wow, the world is a worse place today than it was yesterday. Yeah, you feel a loss. Because this person died. Yeah. It's like when the world mourns you like they knew you, that's a special person, you know? I saw that her star got vandalized, too.
Starting point is 00:30:41 I saw that today they fixed it up and cleaned it up. Somebody vandalized her Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Countries filled with cops. Somebody was mad. They were calling her a Jew lover. A Jew lover? Yeah. I mean, I love Jews.
Starting point is 00:30:52 I think there was a problem with that. But yeah, somebody was taking it as a negative. I mean, she was, she never dabbled in politics at all. you know that's that's all I saw negatively about her but like floods and floods of positive shit of course style apart man I know yeah I met her once she's the sweetest sweetest fucking thing and then the uh the other death Victor Miller creator uh and writer of the first Friday the 13th creator of Jason yes yeah I saw that 86 right yeah yeah 86 or you so I wonder if that lawsuit is now just goes away that prevented us from getting all the Friday 13th because he was part of the reason
Starting point is 00:31:29 his lawsuit against the franchise was one of the reasons we haven't gotten a ton of Friday 13 stuff. Oh, really? I wasn't aware that. I think he resented that, this is all just what I picked up from, he resented that, you know, he wrote the first script and then, you know, Jason became the big thing of it. But he didn't write Jason. You know, that boy in the lake at the end wasn't really, just Jason became. And I think that that pissed him
Starting point is 00:31:59 off. And so, like, there was always this lawsuit between the character of Jason Vorese versus Friday the 13th and what is he own and what a, and just, he always sued. But I wonder if that's, that's going to go away now. That's remember that awesome game. They made like six, maybe even seven, eight years ago, Friday 13th, whereas like, the reason that game had to fold is because of that lawsuit. He couldn't, really? He stopped it so nobody could use. I'm not saying he was the bad guy. He might be right.
Starting point is 00:32:28 But that was why that game folded. They couldn't legally make any more content for it because of the lawsuit that he brought out. So it was like years of Jason not being able to be used. Maybe hopefully we'll get like a new shitty bunch of movies now. Yeah, maybe his estate will be more accommodating. Yeah, because all they got to do is collect the checks. Right, yeah, exactly. Like I don't have any like personal attachment.
Starting point is 00:32:51 I'm surprised the studio doesn't own it. I'm surprised that the writer owns it. Well, also those Jason movies, I think were made by like three different studios. too. New line, right? New line. You know, he fought Freddy. You know what I mean? That's all entirely different studio system. So who knows? Yeah, that really surprises me that this guy who wrote the script actually would have ownership of the property. Well, the copyright goes back to you after a certain amount of years or something like that.
Starting point is 00:33:21 And technically Jason is in that first movie. But it's like Superman, how like Superman's about to go in public domain, right? Anybody can write Superman, but you can't put the spit curl. Right. And he can't fly. He can only jump. You can jump, right? Yeah. Anything that's in that first year, right?
Starting point is 00:33:36 Yeah. And then as years go on. Those things start entering. The other dominoes will fall that become public domain and part of the Superman lore. Right, right, right. Yeah. Before I get to the next topic, we want to talk about Ridge. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:33:52 You know Ridge. They make amazing power banks, wallets, luggage, and premium everyday gear. And Ridge is back with their legendary sweepstakes. For the sixth year, in this time, it's bigger than ever. The sweepstakes runs from July 24th through September 8th. When exactly is this coming out? It's a date. I think this may be a little bit late.
Starting point is 00:34:12 I think you might have like a day left. A day? All right, we're going to have to get in there. Six is when it ends when there's a drop. Six is when there's a drop. Okay, so they got two days then. Tony Hawk is the official spokesperson this year, so you already know this is going to be insane. What do you think is going to be insane about it, Walt?
Starting point is 00:34:27 Tony Hawk is the official spokesperson. Q insanity. What's that? I meant like Q like. Oh, oh, oh, sorry. I was answering the text. Two lucky winners will get to choose between a Lamborghini Starado, a Ford Hennessy Velociraptor, a souped up Ford Bronco, or $100,000 in cash. Take the cash.
Starting point is 00:34:53 Always take the cash, right? Have you ever turned a sports car? currently drive. You drive a charger. Oh, yeah, we talked about this last time. Yep. There's only 1,500 Lamborghinis starrados that exist, and if Ridge is giving you the chance to own one,
Starting point is 00:35:07 this Lambo is the world's first off-road supercar. Naturally aspirated V-10 and has 610 horsepower. Can you imagine driving this thing around town? Wait, Lamborghini made an off-road car? I guess so. Wow. No, I can't imagine driving it around town if it's like a car, then go a fucking 180 miles an hour.
Starting point is 00:35:24 No. The custom-built Bronco is coated in scratch-resistant Kevlar armor and riding on high on massive 37 snoogins in off-road tires. And the best part, you can enter completely free at ridge.com. And there's no reason to enter. So why not take your shot? And if you want to boost your chances, you can earn additional entries by picking up Ridge gear during the sweepstakes. Whether it's a power bank, wallet, luggage, or something else you had your eye on, you can earn extra entries with your purchase. Ready to upgrade your wallet and maybe your ride.
Starting point is 00:35:52 For limited time only, head over to ridge.com and use code T-E-S-D-H-D-H. check out for 10% off your order and a chance to win Ridge's biggest sweepstakes ever, a Lamborghini, a Hennessee Velociraptor, a Ford Bronco or 100K in cash. No purchase necessary to enter, but every dollar you spend gets you more entries. That's ridge.com and use code T-E-S-D.
Starting point is 00:36:11 After you purchase, they will ask you where you heard about them. Please support our show and tell them that we sent you. All right. And once again, it's if you want to, I'm sure I'll be on this live stream. So if you want to come and join the live stream,
Starting point is 00:36:26 it's Rosiejo. Dot Studio, R-O-S-I-E-J-O, as in Rosie Jones. Just put it on Twitter, bro. Yeah, you know what? I'll put in the show notes as well. Okay, thank you. Good thinking. And you can find out what's going on in the Johnson's farm.
Starting point is 00:36:39 It's going to be like, crick, crick, crick, crick. Well, no, not necessarily true. Yeah. Oh, yeah. There's a lot going on in that house. I sent Q a couple pictures of two new additions. Oh, you got some new family members? Two new little guys, two little kittens.
Starting point is 00:36:53 So cute. Very cute, but like, I'm a guy who likes an out-of-the-box kitten. Okay. You know, like, you open that box and they're like, and right on you. Right on you. Sure. These guys, I'm going to have to work. We've worked for about tomorrow will be a week.
Starting point is 00:37:09 Okay. And they've come out of their shells, I'd say a good 50%. Okay. Well, I mean, dude, these things have been alive for like four weeks. Yeah. Oh, longer than that. Yeah, these are like three-month-old cat. Oh, look at them.
Starting point is 00:37:22 Oh, my God. Those paws. Yeah, that's fish on the left and Barney on the right. Oh, they're so fucking cute. And they're tuxedos, too, so they're insane. How can you tell them apart? Polydactyl. If you look at the one on the right, he has black thumbs and the one on the left of white thumbs.
Starting point is 00:37:40 And they both have the extra, the Hemingway thumbs. Polydactal Hemingway. Woo. Yeah. It's so cute. And another, like, a byproduct of it almost is I noticed that Little Cat is much more friendly. to me. Not friendly to them. Well, the enemy of my enemy
Starting point is 00:37:58 is my friend. Yeah. Yeah. That's cute. Was that male female? No, they're both males. Both male. Yeah, one of the left a little bit smaller, a little bro. Oh. But, yeah. Oh, that's amazing.
Starting point is 00:38:12 Yeah, little cat's getting a taste of her own medicine because when she first got to the house, she was going after Princess Mitch. I like playing, but like bat and around and Princess Mitch wanted none of it. You know, she's 10 years old. Now these two are like, what's up on? What's up on? Yeah. Yeah, Barney, the one on the right, definitely ballsier.
Starting point is 00:38:28 And he went after it was like playing and batting and it was like, Little cat then ran off. Oh, I wish you the best, man. They're great. They look like the living versions of Sylvester. They do, right? Yeah. And that's the third cat that looks like that because little cat looks like that too.
Starting point is 00:38:47 Tuxedo. Yeah, they're all right. We got them this stuff that there is a good way to lure you. them. It's like this little packet. And it has like this chicken or fish or turkey puree in it. Oh, the. It's lickables? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:01 Lickables. And you're like, yeah, you open it up. And you're just like, yeah, you like push it up and like they lick it like it's a like a pop, like a ice pop, you know. That that will attract them. Then they'll sit on your lap and everything. But like you just try to pet them and they're like they're not ready yet. I did get to pet. I did get to pet party today though.
Starting point is 00:39:18 He was laying in the sun and I don't think he wanted to move. So I just gave him a couple strokes, you know, just to break him in just a little bit than I moved on. How you do it, man? Put out lines of catnip. Yep. Yeah, that's great. Won't be long now.
Starting point is 00:39:30 I'm so happy for you. It's great. Tom Brady. I don't know if you saw this wall. I didn't. Oh, wait, before that, before the, God damn it. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:39:43 What is he up to, Tom Brady these days? He's still just doing commentary? Getting ripped off. Again? Yeah. I mean, I guess when you have so much money that there's a no way to keep an eye on it all. That is going to be leaks.
Starting point is 00:39:56 Tom Brady's Bay Area card shop ransacked one week after grand opening. Broke it into over the weekend. This is a new story because this happened one other time. Yeah, and it wasn't this. This was like late August, so I didn't know if you had heard. No, this happened last year.
Starting point is 00:40:10 Yeah, we talked about this. Yeah, remember I was going to start like, we want to do a benefit pod for Tom? Right, yeah, I do remember that. I thought he got ripped off again, though. I wonder why it just came up again. This is August 26th. Well, maybe it happened again.
Starting point is 00:40:21 Yeah. It's possible. I mean, he needs to get better security than at those card stores. So the suspect stole trading cards allegedly worth tens of thousands of dollars. If we did like a benefit pod, a bonus pod for Tom, it has to get on his radar, right? No. And when we, you don't think. It's got to.
Starting point is 00:40:43 It's got to. Because somebody's going to be like they're doing it under false pretenses or something. They're trying to raise money for themselves. Somehow they would be like There's a scam going on Tom I think we could recoup the money for Tom With a really strong fucking effort With a lot of retweeting for BQ
Starting point is 00:41:02 Yeah you're like you made it your mission Yeah I'm good You don't feel for the man Not really He's a target now I mean this is the second Well my fucking storage unit got fucking robbed Did Tom Brady swoop in to
Starting point is 00:41:15 To refund that shit I lost a lot of good stuff So the first one was in 2025 in Soho. This was in 2026 in Palo Alto. So two different coasts. Yeah. He's not safe on any coast, man. Oh, and that is, I guess, a real commentary on how coveted and how far willing people are willing to go to get these cards that they're willing to break the law and break, breaking out, right?
Starting point is 00:41:46 There was that one. A Pokemon one, too. Yeah. Devin. She got the one aunt. She was held up by gunpoint. Yes. I think that was about $100,000 worth of cards, too.
Starting point is 00:41:55 Was this Pokemon cards that Tom Brady got stolen or is it sports cards? It looked like it was Pokemon and Soho. It didn't say that much about this one. You thought it was sports cards, Brian? I think it was sports cards, yeah. Because it's a sports card shop, so. But that doesn't mean that they necessarily sell Pokemon. Yeah, they didn't specify what cards.
Starting point is 00:42:15 They just said cards. I think, you know. They should specify so that like if he's going around trying to, to sell them, people might be aware. Yeah. But I think, you know, I'm not targeting BQ's reaction, but I think most people's reaction is, you know,
Starting point is 00:42:29 like, oh, who cares? He's got enough money anyway. Right. Which is so, like, shitty when you're, like, you know, Tom sitting there going, like, every human being needs a little bit of empathy and, like, you know, when shit goes wrong. And, you know, the internet's just like, aha, who cares? But nothing went wrong. Well, he's got insurance. I was going to say, he's insured.
Starting point is 00:42:46 He's insured, but I agree with you. The more money you have, the less likely people are to be like, oh, man, that sucks. Yes. He can never get a shoulder to lean on, like, or at least have the Internet come to his aid, though. Like, you know, how for some people, you know, they'll rally around them and try to, like, pick you up. He'll never get that. Dude, you guys are fucking insane. Have you dealt with insurance kill?
Starting point is 00:43:08 You know how hard it is? I don't care. Like, how many people just died in Nepal? Like, how many people... Oh, you see that? Holy shit. Like, 100 Americans died there. And we're not even discussing it.
Starting point is 00:43:18 So yeah, I'm going to be like, fuck Tom Brady. People fucking get swept away. This is what you're talking about, right? Well, this lack of concern. Look, I think 99. 99.999 of the internet has that attitude towards successful people who have bad things happen to them. There is no, like, sympathy or empathy or understanding. They're more like, fuck you.
Starting point is 00:43:48 More like good. Yes, good. No. When Gene Hackman died like he died, I don't think people were like, good, he deserved it. Like, remember he like got like, his body was rotten in the house for a week? Or when Rob Reiner died, I don't think people were like, good, he fucking deserved it. I think when a Pokemon card gets stolen, people are like, oh, I don't give a fuck, fuck that guy. I just think there's levels to it.
Starting point is 00:44:11 You know what I mean? You know, this might not meet the threshold is all I'm saying. You know what, though? I, if Tom ever needs a shoulder to cry on, he can't find one, I mean. That's not true. There's plenty of ladies, I'm sure. Lots and lots of ladies. But if anybody could get this email to Tom, K-M-E-W-E-S-2, if he ever needs to, like, just vent, you know, just let fucking, just let it out and just fucking have someone just want to listen and not judge on that guy.
Starting point is 00:44:45 I see it. It's nice. It's very Swedish. I see in your future a bunch of fake emails coming in from T. Brady, Tomby. You were supportive when we had a Pokemon robbery here. With Mark. I actually thought it was an inside job. Right? The first thing next time when I came upstairs.
Starting point is 00:45:11 That motherfucker stole his own card. It's down there. He's Colombo. Just one more thing. Yeah, so that was... Can I do a plug? You absolutely can. So,
Starting point is 00:45:28 James Murray is a movie coming out. Next, Monday Mountain Theater is now ready. Called Don't Move. Horror movie. It's good. Like I... You like it?
Starting point is 00:45:39 Yeah, I was very happy to watch it and be like, oh, thank God, I don't have to sit here and be like, good job, buddy. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you know, a game a bunch of notes and, and, you know, not that he needed my help, but, um, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but it is, I guess, basically independent horror, maybe in a way, I don't know, either way, writer and director. He wrote the novel and he produced it.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Okay. I think he helped write this script as well. I'm in it for a little bit. For release in theater, September 11th. Yeah, what a day. I will be, it's so funny. He's got a premiere in New York. He's got a premiere in Kansas City because that's where they shot it.
Starting point is 00:46:28 He's got a premiere to L.A. at the Man's Chinese, at the famous one. And he booked all three of those the week that I'm in London. Oh, no. So, yes, I felt really bad about that because I was like, I can't move my trip. I got something specific I'm doing out there. So I'm missing all three of them. so I want that I show my support here, here to the ants to... All right, special appearances by T-Pain.
Starting point is 00:46:52 He's a rapper, T-Pain. Yep. Brian Q. Quinn. Yeah, yep. And Matt Beedle or Biddle? Sure. I don't know who he is. Rob Wrigal.
Starting point is 00:47:01 Riggle's in it. Riggles's great. Tom Cabin. Wait, wait, wait, wait. Is that the dude that you kept out of the sewer bowl? Yes. Yes, that's him. Oh, yeah, Rob Riggle.
Starting point is 00:47:09 Yeah. You think you remembered you? No, remember I asked him. Oh, that's right. I asked Riggle's remembered. I remember that fucking guy. Yeah, wriggles in it. Riggles in it.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Yeah, Tom Cavanaugh, Lindsay Fonseca. Tom Cavinole. He was the reverse flash. Yeah, yeah. What, that's a fucking A-list cast. It's a great cast. I'm telling you. He pulled it off.
Starting point is 00:47:28 Yes, he was on CBM. Yeah, great guy. Murray pulled it off. So it would be nice to see it. Congratulations to Mer. Yes, to get to, I just want to put it out there for instance. I won't be at any of the premieres. I don't want people to be like, why, why wasn't Q at the premieres?
Starting point is 00:47:42 Oh, yeah, it would show that you're not supportive. Yeah. I'm just a happy. There you go. In London. In London, where they're shooting a new in-betweeners movie. Get out of here. Wow.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Yeah. In King Morris is back. Are you seeing him when you go to London? I am seeing him when I go to London. I haven't heard that name from you in quite some time. I wondered if, like, you had moved on to bigger and better. I don't go to L.A. I don't see him.
Starting point is 00:48:06 No, no. We went to go see Flight of the Concordes together in L.A. about a month ago. How did you guys keep up over the years? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you know, sometimes a couple of months go by or whatever, but I love the guy, so I'm always trying to drop in line.
Starting point is 00:48:17 But they happen to be shooting the Inbetweeners movie. I'm just thinking, am I supposed to be saying any of this? I announced that there's another in-air- I knew there's a movie coming here. I'm super excited about it. Yeah. Because I did read, I was so sorry to see this. I did read that he said that some of the other In-betweener stuff, you know, previous stuff,
Starting point is 00:48:41 he regrets the humor in some of the episodes and I guess in the movie. He didn't give any specific examples, but I'm like, don't go woke. Don't, don't do it. I don't know. Not with the in-betweeners, no. I don't know you got to worry about that. Good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:48:56 I think we're all walking through minefields, my friend. Yeah. Just looking to get to the other side and let it float out there. Yeah. Don't worry about it too much. All right. Good. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:05 Yeah. Good. Oh, yeah, I'm excited. What else you got planned in the big UK? I'm going to go see. I'm going to go to British Museum. Very excited about that. I got,
Starting point is 00:49:18 any sightseeing? Yeah, a little sightseeing. A little, yeah, I got, you know, I got friends out there that I got to see and catch up with. Are you, I don't peg you as a typical sightseer. I see you as a guy who has certain out of the way spots that you're like,
Starting point is 00:49:35 I love that spot, and you don't need to go see Big Ben. You don't need to see. Well, Big Ben, I've seen so much. any fucking times. It's like I'm not going to go there and do it again. But but but I like Or the castle. British Museum I like going to. I love it. I like
Starting point is 00:49:50 but that's art. You know what I mean? You go and do it and they have like they have like a horror house underneath the London Bridge and stuff like that. That's like you walk through and it's I like doing touristy like weird shit and stuff like that. And that when you get over onto another continent like that. Yeah. Are you recognized as much as you are here in America? in the UK? Or can you go out a little bit more? I would say even more in the UK.
Starting point is 00:50:15 Yeah. I would not have thought that. I would have been like you can't move in America, but maybe you can move more easily overseas. Like I've always said people are just, I'm just at the point where people are just saying nice things. Like it's not, but they're a little more polite about it over there.
Starting point is 00:50:30 You know what I mean? But it's, it's great. Murray just went on a safari in Africa. And he would, I don't know what part of Africa he was in, but he was like, dude, he's like, we got to go over there and do shows. When you go to Kenya, I think?
Starting point is 00:50:44 I think he went to Kenya. Yeah, I don't, you know. Spent so much time with the guy. I can't listen to everything he fucking says. But he said, but he was like, you can't. He's like, he goes, we should do shows there. He's like, we're fucking really popular over there, which blew my mind. So I never heard that before.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Right. Yeah. I heard about other weird, like India, I know we're huge. But yeah, so who knows? But the UK, they're very good to me. Right. Yeah. You K for Q.
Starting point is 00:51:11 Ian K Morris. I can't wait. Yeah. So I thought, Walt, I don't know how you feel about being a roommate with me, but I thought if me,
Starting point is 00:51:19 you, and Q pool our resources we could possibly buy Wayne Manor, which just went up for sale. Oh, the Rosa sent this to me. Did it?
Starting point is 00:51:28 The one from the six, Batman Sixth? Yeah. Yeah. You want to take your guess on the price? 225 mil? $2.25? $2.25 million, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:40 Quarter of a billion. No. You over shop by like 200 million. 32 million. 32 million. Yeah. It's on 18,655 square feet. Jesus.
Starting point is 00:51:57 There's a whole bunch of fucking things I can read about it, but I'm not going to go out. It's funny because... Five acres. I never once heard anybody else ever say like, like they did the touristy thing. We're like, I want to go see Wayne Manor. It's not something that I've ever heard. heard anybody say like it doesn't have that same kind of not even frank yeah not even frank like I've driven by it
Starting point is 00:52:19 yeah but there is not a hubbub around it right yeah it doesn't feel like there like if there was a bat pole there maybe I think people more people want or back yeah but it's also not as like the firehouse the ghost bus is firehouse is just so accessible this you've got to go to like a really rich neighborhood and it's not really kind of there for you to go look at, you know. Yeah, I remember even seeing the mansion from Dark Shadows on a bus tour.
Starting point is 00:52:45 I forget where it was. I forget what fucking, it was where a lot of people eat lobster there. I can remember. Oh, Maine? Yeah, Maine. And we took like this bus tour to like all these beautiful homes, like all the bushes live
Starting point is 00:52:58 out there. Oh, okay. Yeah. And they're like, that's the fucking Dark Shadows Mansion. And the collective yawn from the bus was like, you could hear it. I was the only one who was like, oh my God, click, click, click. I was like, that's dark shadows plus.
Starting point is 00:53:12 Like, motherfuckers, why are you so uninterested? Right. That's where Barnabas fucking hangs. It's like, finally, it's something that isn't trees. Nobody cared. When I stayed in that, when I stayed in the hotel that they used for the exterior of Rocky Hara, the Frank of Ferdas Castle, I was walking around going like, I can't believe we're here. And people are like, nobody gives a shit. I think maybe we're dressed.
Starting point is 00:53:36 Yeah, exactly. Another guy who died recently, Tim Curry. Oh, that's rough. That sucked. Yeah, that sucked. I was going to meet him, too. He's going to be in stream, too. Got out of here.
Starting point is 00:53:48 I got to write dialogue for him and everything. Oh, man. Now he'll never fucking. So it's about me somehow. Yeah. Yeah, I was excited to meet him. Walt, did you hear about this L.A. hockey player who, well, he's like, not for the, from the Kings. He's, uh, let me see here.
Starting point is 00:54:06 He was a USA hockey sanction. Oh, it was a defender. Ivan Finchenko was a defender in a USA hockey sanction game on September 27th, 20205 at the L.A. King's Valley Ice Center when a puck pierced his helmet. Wow. That's a God. Pierceed his helmet. The protective gear of Bauer, R.E.A.K. 55 cracked open, sending the disc penetrating to his head.
Starting point is 00:54:31 That's the effective helmet, I have to think. I would think so. Video showed this crowd screaming in horror when he stood up and his injuries became obvious. I guess he was bleeding a lot because it was from the head. He was treated for lacerations and a hematoma. He suffered immediate memory loss and coronation of eyesight and has never been on the ice again. However, that's not the thrust of the story. The thrust is he's suing because he can't have sex with his wife anymore.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Oh, it's affected his ability to have erections or. just is like he's not attracted to girls anymore. To date, he can, yeah, he turned gay. That can happen. You think so? Getting hit with a hockey puck? You turn you gay? No, not hockey puck, but there are brain injuries where people became homosexual.
Starting point is 00:55:19 When men and women became homosexual. If you get popped on the head, get them. And they sued because, you know, they were now attracted to the opposite, to the same sex. Right. You don't think that's just a convenient excuse? Oh. Oh. I got bumped on that.
Starting point is 00:55:36 I'm like caught now. I think he'll win. Probably. The wife says that she suffered loss of conjugal fellowship, sexual relations, and companionship. And to date, he cannot regularly function. There are intimacy problems, and they don't have the same sex life
Starting point is 00:55:56 as when he was left completely disabled. The lawyer said that that's a recognized matter in California that if you lose a sexual partner, that's her loss. and she has a right to sue for that. Oh, she's suing. I guess she's suing, yeah. Oh.
Starting point is 00:56:08 Well, maybe he's suing the helmet company. He's suing Bauer, and she's probably suing Bauer as well. Oh. Mm. She looks pretty good. What would you award? I want to see her. There she goes.
Starting point is 00:56:22 She don't look too bad, right? Yeah, you shouldn't have any problems. Hot little Ruski. Yeah, you shouldn't. Yeah, but what would you award the, the, um, the claimeth? Oh, I think you got to break them off, like. This is one of the biggest helmet companies in the world, I imagine. Biggest hockey, like, equipment, right?
Starting point is 00:56:48 But you have to show that it was defective, you know. Obviously, it was defective. It didn't take a hit from a hockey puck. It's just one reason to exist. True. I can go 10 to 15. Whoa. I can give them 10 to 15 for that.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Yeah. I don't think you're getting that much. Less, huh? I think they'll get less. I think they'll settle for not even a million. really what's the point of him bringing it up like you're a hockey player leaning on a I don't think he's professional he's not a professional no no oh no oh okay well then yeah 700,000 I think you take it he was employed at the exotic car rebuild company and exotic oh I thought this
Starting point is 00:57:27 was a professional hockey player no no no he was like he was just I think he's like good enough to play on like the American team or something yeah but he's not good enough to be a pro oh yeah then he's not going to get that much money then he has suffered fright shock physiological impairment and traumatic brain injury, according to the suit. He's suing Bauer and the store that sold him the helmet because it was selected and recommended by the store for his competition use on the ice. Now you have to also wonder, too, was it a used helmet? You know, is it brand new out of the box? Oh, like how to use it before.
Starting point is 00:58:00 You know, that could compromise the helmets. Well, my motorcycle helmet, they say if you drop it, you should replace it. So yeah, yeah, yeah, because it cracks the foam and stuff or something. Yeah, you're right. And motorcycle helmets are not cheap. No. Like $6, $700 for a fucking motorcycle helmet. If you get a good one.
Starting point is 00:58:21 Yeah. They said he would be working on a car and he'll take this piece off of whatever. And a moment later, he will go to put it back and has no memory of where it came from. And the wife has had to pick up work as a housekeeper and is solely supporting the couple who only speak Russian. How is he playing for the American team? I don't know. that's a good question. They've lived modestly in the San Fernando Valley after arriving in Los Angeles less than two years ago.
Starting point is 00:58:46 His whole life was hockey. Now, BQ, it sounds like you're more sympathetic to that than Tom Brady for some reason. Yeah. Yeah, maybe a little bit. Smokes your wife and not be able to do anything with it. I know, just seeing it sit there. It's like having like an awesome dinner. And you can't eat it
Starting point is 00:59:08 You can't eat it Nope It's like 10,000 spoons When all you need is a knife Not like his hands broken Yeah But he's not into it anymore Yeah
Starting point is 00:59:18 It's more of a mental game Than a physical bud Any interest in Wiley Coyote movie I heard great things about it I've heard nothing but great things about it Yeah Like 100% of rotten tomatoes or something Everybody I know I've seen
Starting point is 00:59:33 He texts me and they're like You have to go see it's so fucking funny Yeah You saw it? Yeah Oh, what's your opinion? I thought it was pretty damn good, yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:41 Yeah. It's a little tough because I'm so used to the voice actors, so it's like you hear, like Will Forte. It's like when he's talking sometimes, I just, you know, other characters crop him. But the storyline's great, animation's great, you know, storytelling. Yeah. So you're distracted by the voices? It's a little, yeah. Because like you're like, oh, you grew up with it.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Where do I know these people from? Yeah. Right. Yeah. Well, Forte is a fucking genius. He's awesome. I love, Forte. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:06 scene is great in it. Yeah. Okay. Yeah, the foghorn, leghorn is, yeah, it's an all-round a great movie, yeah. And it's weird seeing like all those characters you had forgotten about, like, you know. Like who? Like Dr.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Lori. He looks like a Peter Laurie type scientist. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they bring him. Hello, that guy. Yeah. Oh, the big, a gossamer, the giant. Oh, the big orange hairy.
Starting point is 01:00:32 Yeah, he never really went away. The scorer's always been around. Yeah. But it's like, oh, I remember. Remember that from that cartoon. I remember that cartoon. Remember that cartoon? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:39 Oh, that's it. Now, are they playing themselves or they do the Muppet things where they're, where Kermit the Frogs playing a character in the movie? Or are they playing themselves? No, they're playing them. Obviously, the coyote is playing himself. They're playing. So why is Foghorn, Leghorn, a lawyer for the, he's not.
Starting point is 01:00:53 He's the CEO. But he is Foghorn, Leghorn, the CEO? Yes. Oh, wow. Oh, wow. That's interesting. Yeah. They made him a bad guy.
Starting point is 01:01:01 Yeah. Wow. It's interesting. Anyway, I want to see it. I was just curious. You should. Yeah. Yeah, I would like to see it too.
Starting point is 01:01:09 We should go because it's not doing as great as they wanted to. No. Oh, no? That's unfortunate. Yeah. I wonder if those characters are just too far removed from the public consciousness. Like Peter Lorry. It's a small part, but, yeah.
Starting point is 01:01:33 That's funny. More deathists, Walt, you'll recognize this name, J.P. Morgan. Oh, I heard about that. Did you hear that? Yeah. Lashed her boobs at one time. Oh, that's how, yeah. Yeah, she passed away too.
Starting point is 01:01:47 I mean, was she only known for the gong show? I looked that up because I was like, that's all I knew her from. But yeah, evidently she was like a singer and act, dancer. And, yeah. I know she was on the odd couple for one episode. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, she had a decent career prior to. It's, you know, last.
Starting point is 01:02:04 I mean, let's be real. I mean, she wasn't, even if Dolly didn't die the same week, she was never going to get her flowers. But what rotten timing that died? Oh, yeah. Yeah. I mean, at least she would have gotten mentioned as the one who flashed her boobs on Gung Show, but she didn't even about that. Even her boobs aren't winning out against all these boobs. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:24 I'm sure you heard about the death of Gloria Steinem today. I heard that today. Yeah. Feminist icon. Yeah. Gloria Steinem. I read that her book was funded by the CIA. That's what I read.
Starting point is 01:02:35 I don't know if it's true. That blew up in their face then. Yeah. Oh, yeah. One last thing. One last thing. Getham, can you pull up the target racist costume? Normally we wait until Halloween.
Starting point is 01:02:47 Halloween for this kind of thing. But some finger-wagon liberals have said no to this. What I think is a pretty innocent costume. How the fuck did that get through? How? How did that get through? What the fuck?
Starting point is 01:03:04 You could have told me that was made in the 30s And I'd be like, wow They were going for it back then Holy shit What is it? Like a harlequin And there's a black kid in it Like if you had done a white kid
Starting point is 01:03:16 It would have been A little better I don't think there's anything A little better I mean the hat with the flower in it And a jaunty little angle I think it's like a face covering That is crazy
Starting point is 01:03:28 How badly does this damage target in the week that this breaks this story? Like what kind of, what kind of hit are they taking for this? Financial. Wow. I don't think they take much of a hit. Really?
Starting point is 01:03:43 Because fucking everybody's angry at everything all the time. So like when something like even I'm looking at going like, oh, I don't know what this comes up. The outrage is so constant that it's like, we're mad at this. Wait, what happened over here? Now we're mad at that. Yeah, you can't even take seriously when things actually go like this. So you don't feel that this warrants the attention it got?
Starting point is 01:04:01 No, I think it does. I just know that it's going to affect their bottom line that much. I think it's wild. Does someone need to get fired, right? Someone needs to get fired. Whoever, uh, I would say, yeah. People who are buying for Target, the buyers who like or who are responsibility is to fill the shelves with the newest product around Halloween and they approve this as something
Starting point is 01:04:23 that's going to be sold that target. Now, again, this may be of online only or a private seller. That always happens. No, this is their brand. Okay. Or even the person. The person who did it might not even be aware of it. That was my thought.
Starting point is 01:04:36 They're from a different country. And this is like one of a hundred costumes that someone's just scrolling through. Where a racem doesn't exist? Where's that country? No country. Thank you, get him. Truth to power right now, get him. Get him.
Starting point is 01:04:51 Get him preaching the truth, the hard truth that no one wants to hear. You know what he wants to hear it. That's why they've all shut off the pot. He talked for 30 seconds. Yeah, you can't talk anymore. That was your time limit. Yeah. But you got to talk because I want to play a game real quick.
Starting point is 01:05:09 I want you to play. Okay. Do you want to play? We got to do two episodes tonight. You want to get it? We already got an hour here. Okay. You want to wait to save it for next week?
Starting point is 01:05:17 Yeah, we'll do one more thing. Get him if you could pull up the second target costume that was sold. Backlash over, it was a German soldier costume. Hmm. A World War II era German soldier costume. has sparked criticism online after shoppers discovered it had been sold by Target, Walmart, and Amazon.
Starting point is 01:05:36 What country were the soldiers from? Says Germany. Well, there you go right there. I think I see your issue. Yeah, this was sold by three. And again, it could be like a third party seller. Who knows, why would the fuck? What did they show the picture?
Starting point is 01:05:50 There's one in the Newsweek article right there. Oh, yeah, there it is. It's barely going up. Yeah. Well, well, it's just kind of a gray outfit. fit. I mean, it doesn't look. To me, I don't think it looks like something from Star Wars. I'm going to say Starship Troopers. Yeah. But that was invoking it. Well, because you know some nitwit is going to fucking put a red arm band on that.
Starting point is 01:06:13 They're going to buy a fucking sock while they're also in Target, a red sock, fashion themselves on red arm band. Yep. And go walk around going, ho-ho-ho-Hur. And no, they were edgy. Didn't one of the princes do that? Yeah. Yeah. I mean, they even label a German army soldier. It's a little out there. It's off. It's off. Amazon may be just too big to police, though, in terms of, like, making sure everything is
Starting point is 01:06:41 fucking above board and... Yeah. Every once in a while, a costume's going to slip through. Yeah. You have to allow for the cracks. The way he's standing with his face so stern and his hands folded in front of... Yes, exactly. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:58 So that's it, man. For Halloween, be careful. You don't want to be wearing What was the name of the first costume? I don't even know. You're like what was the... Minstrel? Minstrel imagery?
Starting point is 01:07:13 No, no. They cannot have called it. They cannot have... That's what it says. Target is facing backlash over... No, there's a... What's it called, though? The actual costume, right?
Starting point is 01:07:28 Kids... Kids glow under blacklight, circus clown, Halloween. body suit. What circus is that? What circus is that? Yeah, that's like... Look, and again, like...
Starting point is 01:07:43 Forget it. Tell them, Steve Dave.
