You know, I'd be like, oh, Jeff thinks I'm hot.
I wish I studied science more.
Really?
An interview coach.
I think that's even more useless than an office coach.
Tell him, Steve, Dave.
Hello and welcome to this week's edition of Tell him Steve Dave.
BQ's here.
Hello.
Get him.
How you're thinking?
I'm here, Brian.
we're going to do, isn't it?
We're going to do an episode of Tom Steve Dave,
Q.
I'm very excited.
Mm-hmm.
Yes.
This is the first time in a long time we've done back-to-back recordings on the same afternoon.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah, we usually don't do it.
It's in a long time, so because we're recording this right after last week's episode.
Yeah.
I'm curious to see how the, uh, if people can tell.
Mm-hmm.
Well, we're telling them.
Yeah.
Yeah, maybe I shouldn't say that.
You should have said that.
Should have said that for the end.
Well, I appreciate it because I'm in England right now.
I'm in England right now and you guys could have recorded without me, but you had to do it without what I was in L.A., so I'm glad we're doing this.
I'd rather do this than just skip an episode.
I'm happy you're up to doing two.
I wish someone had told me.
Why?
What'd you have to do, fucking busybody?
Okay.
Go for dinner.
No, let's take more money.
I got you a gift certificate there.
free fucking Christmas. Use it.
Yeah, I used it already.
Oh, okay.
Burn through there pretty quick.
You just hit you 30 seconds, pal.
Completing about the buffet.
What are you doing?
Use your 30 seconds wisely with like a
really good joke.
Gotta be like Barney with his bullet.
It's interesting.
Like Walt, you're like, yeah, we're going back to back.
And I'm like, I'm like, I don't see how much stuff.
Because usually I'll look at stuff through the week and that's what I put on my list,
which obviously I can't do.
And I'm like, looking through.
I'm like, well, let me see how much stuff I have.
like half the shit I write down on this list you would never talk about.
Never.
Because if it's just bad, bad business.
Bad business.
Yep.
I write it down and I'm just like, then I'm like, oh, no, they don't want to talk about this.
Well, I got some things that I want, like I'd like to talk about.
Okay.
You know, get some feedback from the boys.
I love this.
So last week, my wife, who is a teacher, she was, she's involved with higher,
with the hiring process of another teacher where she's employed.
She gets to be involved in the decision making.
And she had an interview set up with somebody.
And this lady came in to the building and my wife assumed that the lady who was in the building was there for the interview,
which she was.
But she wasn't the applicant.
She was somebody and something I've never heard before.
I cannot even believe it exists.
She was there before the person who was really there applying for the job because she was her interview coach.
Oh, really?
An interview coach.
I think that's even more useless than an office coach.
Right?
Well, that all depends.
Does she get the job?
Well, that's why I want to talk to you.
So my wife was like, oh my God, we had somebody come in and, you know, she had an interview coach and like, this is the first time, you know, that this has happened.
So you don't know what you're going to expect when the person comes in.
And you're automatically, even though you're not supposed to, you feel you have preconceived notions about whether you're even going to hire this person who needs an interview coach, right?
Sure.
Yeah, I can see that.
You're kind of like, well, if they can't.
handle the interview.
Yeah, how they're going to hold their hand.
You know, anything else that comes up.
That is only one way to look at it, though.
Why is that the only way?
Because I think most people are prone to that.
I initially was too for like about about a minute or two.
Right.
I, because I guess the other way is just like, well, let me ask something.
How old was this applicant?
She was fresh out of college.
Okay.
So paying someone for their advice with experience,
and to gain a little confidence,
I don't know that I necessarily...
Probably not a lot of interviewing skills today.
Yeah, I might look at it in a positive way
and be like, you know,
they are looking to people who know more than them for advice,
which is a good thing,
and they're taking the job so seriously
that they're investing their own time and money
into getting their chances better to get the job.
Yeah, I came around to that
because my wife said, you know,
she came in, she was a very, very young girl, just graduated from a very good school.
Okay.
But my wife was like she may have some issues.
You know, like where she wouldn't be confident that she could handle a classroom if she was the only one like teacher in the classroom.
Could she handle if there was like an emergency situation?
Yeah.
Like, you know, and I'm not.
I was like saying, you know, well, I said, because I start to take that, that aspect that you're bringing
up. I was like, you know, I go, it's really sucks. I said, because she's definitely an underdog
because it's like she may have some, some issues. I said, but with those issues, I said,
she graduated from a good school. You know, she's done everything she has to do. Now she gets this
coach because she feels that's going to help her. I said, can't you see, like can't you see yourself?
Like this is what you root for.
You root for that underdog.
And my wife said something that like didn't make me as mad as, you know, Mary Beth's like.
I didn't call her a fucking bitch.
Like, but she was a little sarcastic to you.
But she said something pretty cold.
She was like, I am hiring somebody that is going to be working with preschool children.
I need to know that I can depend on him if I'm not there or if I have to take a day off or something really goes wrong.
and I go, I need to know they're emotionally capable of doing it.
He goes, you can afford to have your misfits, she said.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, what a commentary.
That's great for you.
You want underdog, she goes, it doesn't matter, she goes.
But I'm in charge of these children.
She goes, you can have your projects.
Yeah.
You know, you can try to help.
them. Yeah, you could have your underdogs or
whatever. Get in the box.
Wow.
And I was like, do I collect misfits?
Well, I, come back.
You might be the least self-aware
man if you got to ask that question.
I'm not saying, she doesn't have a point. I was like, that's pretty cold.
Yeah. And funny.
Who do you think she was referring to?
I mean, there's any number.
I don't know.
Like, everybody's going to have their
target. Like, and I'm not so sure
she who's even mentioned him.
You can tell us, Steve Dave.
You can have your misfits.
Yeah.
What a great slogan.
Yeah.
No, you can afford to have your misfits.
Oh, it's great.
Wow.
I really made me go.
Like, why am I drawn to trying to help misfits?
Yeah.
Like, why do I feel like,
I can, like, I can some way or somehow be a help to them when I, like.
You call yourself their dad for Christ.
I mean, Jesus.
Why don't you all look to me?
You had a con,
you had that many contests who's the best son.
And I go,
Why can't I like search out and surround myself with competence rather than misfits?
Makes you look good.
Is it?
Is it something in me that's like, well, I look better next to them?
You don't seem like that kind of guy.
Yeah, you don't seem like that kind of guy.
I don't know what it is, but I do.
Soft spot, man.
Just a soft touch.
Well, define a misfit for me.
Don't name names, but like define.
Stop pointing.
I don't know.
I think that I think you might be the only non-misfit at TSD Town.
Wait, what about that?
I think you left the misfit status when you became a world-renowned entertainer.
Are you ready for the, but the secret is everybody I surrounded myself.
And I've always on this show said the crew is the best.
Yeah, the best.
Yeah.
More than competent.
So, and, you know, then I surrounded myself with three really, really fucking funny guys.
You know what I mean?
So I think I disagree with you.
I think I, is he arguing right now that he's the biggest misfit in TSP?
I know.
I can't tell.
I can't tell.
No, I think the reason that I mentioned it doesn't really fucking sell your misfit campaign.
I mean, do I just a couple of them?
Look how much I don't fit in.
Yeah, you and Gero can't run around singing that song from Rudolph.
The Red Nose Manchin.
I'm saying the reason I got that mansion is because I surrounded myself with the
opposite, the highly, highly capable people.
Okay.
So you still consider yourself at the end of the day a bit of a misfit.
I think at my heart, yeah, yeah.
On the surface, you wouldn't know it, but deep down.
Do you think that's the perception of you by, let's just say,
say the ants.
No,
no,
I don't think so.
Well,
I mean,
look at the competition
I have
here too.
Yeah.
The one-eyed man is king.
You know what I'm saying?
You know,
but like,
you look at the way
I behave on television.
I mean,
that's just not normal.
But you're performing.
You're performing at the end of the day.
Sure,
but I,
you know,
it's not like you're acting that way
when the cameras are off.
You know that,
like,
yeah,
you're,
right.
You're,
you're,
you're,
you're the ultimate, the consummate performer.
Thanks, pal.
Yeah, but you know what?
Like, I guess it's self-perception versus outside perception because I never feel
fucking feel good about myself.
You know what I mean?
Like, it's so rare.
That's an internet.
Okay.
And I could sit there and talk to people and, like, I just told your story off camera
about someone I met the other night that was, and the entire time I'm talking
with them, I'm like,
this person don't want to be talking to me.
Like, you know what I mean?
I'm like, I'm a fucking old piece of shit.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, I have these feelings inside where it's like inadequacy.
I mean, 90% of the day.
If BQ feels inadequate, what hope is there for the rest of us?
I know.
Like, you know, the man has reached the pinnacle.
I haven't, though.
You don't, you don't, well, I guess that that's the perception of, you know,
everybody's perception is different.
Yes.
Yeah.
So, like, everybody on the outside would say that, yeah, like, you've, you've, you've, you've, you've, you've, you've, stuck your flag in there.
I wouldn't argue with the thought behind that, but.
Guys, I can't even fucking walk up a fucking steep hill, let alone climbing mountain.
But I didn't do it on my own.
No.
By any stretch of the imagine.
Nobody does anything on their own.
Nobody.
Right.
But me in particular, definitely.
have not done it on my own.
Like, there's just no world in which I can imagine that the magic of BQ is what got me where I am.
You know what I mean?
You know what I'm saying?
We both.
Got a certain magic.
Yeah, so I'm saying.
Like, you're saying this, but again, like, your perception is your own and it's valid.
Sure.
But, like, everybody in this room is not going, like, they know you have magic.
You know you're the magic man.
Yeah.
But I think you guys have magic.
Now, do I call this episode, Magic Man?
Do I call it Misfits?
I'm at a loss here.
Misfits of magic.
There you go, Giddle.
You can turn the mic off that.
You're never going to talk that, Giddle.
Put me on mute.
Yeah.
But yeah, so again, you know.
I know what you're saying.
I'm not blind to what you're saying, but like that's how I feel inside is the same.
that already feels inside, which is just like,
the world's against me.
I fucking hate myself and,
you know, and,
and, and in fact, there's even,
there's even, there's even, there's a burden I carry.
That,
that, say,
a get him doesn't have to carry,
which is to climb that mountain to a certain degree,
get a peek behind the curtain,
and be like,
oh, this is all meaningless.
Like, oh, this is all fucking bullshit.
You know what I mean?
Like, right?
When I was a kid, like, I could dream about, like, having a TV show and doing this and doing that.
And then when you get it, you're like, I mean, fucking idiots do this.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, it's more luck than there's a disillusionment that I carry with me.
Because it's like, you're on TV, but so are the housewives of Beverly Hills.
Sure.
And a lot of people like the housewives of Beverly Hills more than they're like impractical jokers.
And then, like, you know, you see certain executives that run the studios.
You see this.
You see this.
And you're like, this is this fucking cesspool.
like I don't want to be here
like fuck these people
um
okay
so there's a there's a disillusionment
I want to apologize because I like yeah you are a
misfit
thank you
you're absolutely like you're the miss fit
I mean I sleep my mattress filled with money
I'm not saying it doesn't help
your misfit
characteristics
are inside
you don't see it they don't show them to the outside
like you can't let unless you bear
your thoughts, nobody knows, though.
I understand that perception.
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah.
But by all appearances, though, yeah, you're...
Right.
Yeah, you're...
Not a misfit.
Yeah, nobody would, would coin, you know, or label him a misfit.
But they're wrong.
Thank you.
But anyway, sorry.
Back to...
Well, I mean, so I was trying to champion, you know, try to talk.
my wife and then being like, you know, underdogs.
And everybody roots for underdogs.
And she said she would put a word in for the,
for the girl to maybe be an assistant.
They need another role.
Not, but it wouldn't be as,
you know,
wouldn't be as many hours, but.
That's a good way to break into teaching, though, right?
It might be a place for somebody like her.
Now,
is the coach in the interview?
Okay.
And she interjects during the interview.
Shut the phone.
Oh, really?
That I didn't know.
Yeah.
Oh, wow.
This, I'm not sure.
I'm, I'm sure.
That's like bringing your mom with you.
That's what I was going to bring up.
Yeah, this person did bring her mom to.
She's, oh, yeah.
I'm with Deb on this one.
Yeah, I know.
But that's what's the hint at my heart, though, and I'm like, oh, my God, I want to hire her.
I want to fire.
Get him and bring her in my head.
I don't know.
All right, let's take a vote.
Let's show her hands.
I don't think her mom wouldn't let her work and work and work.
What's a six-year-old dude?
I can't see studio.
Are you getting three people for one or?
Yeah.
Oh, and every once in a while you're going to have to get a bird out of the chimney.
Like, there's a lot of things she doesn't know.
Bringing a mom's a little.
That's a little.
I mean, like I said, like there's, I'm not saying, like, I don't want people to assume that my wife was anything but just being very responsible.
Yeah.
In her reaction of like, well, this is a person that would, I would be hard pressed to say this is the person.
I go beyond responsible and say realistic.
Yeah.
Yeah.
But she was, I kind of was like, man, I just feel horrible.
I go, because she's done everything she's supposed to do and it's still not enough.
Well, she's a shit she's not supposed to do too.
You don't bring her mom to the interview.
Yeah.
And she doesn't drive.
And I was like, so fucking what?
So fucking what?
She doesn't drive.
You married someone who didn't drive.
How old is she?
She's only 25?
You know, I didn't get my license.
I was 36.
I was 36.
Shrieking.
So I just, her mom,
throwing the interview.
Oh, no, I don't have a problem with that.
Yeah, that's, I think it's even a little off to bring the coach into the interview.
Yeah, that seems like cheating.
I think the coach would be there for practice interviews, but not like the actual interview.
Well, she would kind of, I guess, interject in a way of like the question was, was asked.
and the answers were given
maybe that she was straying off course
a little bit in the answer
and then she would bring her back to like
well this is a this is something that she did too
and this is something that she excels in
yada yada kind of bring it back around
to where the call her almost called her an office coach
but she would try to bring her back
a little bit to the area
where the answer probably was more apropos
Right.
Gee, you think I could hire a $5 boot story coach.
You mean a conversation coach?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Like, if anybody's in need a one, you'll be like somebody,
you'd be like, we're here together.
You know, Gettom said something once.
I don't even know if you'll remember saying this, but it kind of, it kind of, I don't
want to say it hurt my heart, but it kind of made me see things from Gettom's perspective.
I don't know if you'll remember saying this, Gettam, but you said once.
Well, everybody tells me, everybody yells at me when I say the wrong thing, but nobody tells me what I said wrong or what I could have said right.
And so it's like-
I think that's true.
I think I've told you many times.
You just fucking ignore it.
No, like when I'm telling a story, everyone afterwards tells me that it was too long, but they don't tell me what parts I could have taken out.
I think you just got to go on if you're telling that boot story of, you know, the whole thing.
Thanks, coach
You owe me
That's about $10, you owe me
Right now
So maybe get him would
Like benefit from like
Someone who's not there to like mock
For content
I didn't mock it
But he was starting to tell everybody
This story about
The black cane and the green cane
He had
Okay
He told everybody
He told Dave Windorf
And that was my
That's when I couldn't take it more
When Dave left
I was like
Don't
Come on
man, that green cane, black cane story.
Like, you got a green cane at first, but I really want it black.
So then I said, you know what I'm going to do?
I'm going to give the green cane to my dad, and then I'll have the black cane.
My dad loves the green cane now.
And I like that.
Dave, Dave, where are you going?
I got to the modifications I made on the canes.
I'm like a fucking, like, like, like, like a pad of mining.
Cut it off.
Stop talking.
He's ignored me.
But maybe you would benefit from a conversation coach.
Yeah, I think he would, especially like when the mic is on.
Where it's most important.
I can live with the fucking boot story or the cane story off mic.
But it's when I got people email and be like, I'm canceling Patreon.
Because this motherfucker won't stop talking.
And I'm like, ooh, we better to think about it.
Hiring that conversation coach at our expense.
Yeah, it'll be worth it.
I'm not even talking pretext.
If you just want money right now,
I'll donate.
Would you really like that, though?
How fucking rude and obnoxious would it be if every time you started talking
and I feel is like, oh, blah, blah, this is what you said wrong.
and that person that you're talking to is right there in the room next to me.
What?
How fucked up does that look if I'm saying that to you?
I just got to sit there and bite my tongue till I'm fucking bleeding like.
Like,
and the other person's fucking look like they're in a coma.
What did I say wrong?
What I say wrong?
You have to tell the fucking green cane, black gate story for the fucking
George, there's time.
Love that, Cade.
Would you commit to it, get him?
Would you do?
Would you take some coaching?
Yeah.
It's the only practice before a game.
You know, you got to spot your deficiencies.
All right.
Well, one of the things that...
Who would you...
Okay, I'm just...
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
I'm just...
Go ahead.
Who would you prefer out of everybody you know to be the guy to, like,
like, read you their game notes?
You're like, well, here's where you spoke about this too much, and this is what you shouldn't have said.
And like, who is that person you'd want delivering that message where you wouldn't resent them?
Johnny Law.
Okay.
Oh.
He's not around long enough, though, you know, often enough to always be.
Johnny, Johnny, I'm about to tell a story.
I need some coaching.
All right.
Well, that's nice.
I guess you feel like he would be a little bit more gentle in his delivery of the operation.
He's an orator.
I'd love to see Troy doing the job.
He's retired now, right?
Yeah, I love to see Troy.
Oh, God, man.
Talk about a Patreon show.
Oh, man.
Troy just fucking dealing with...
All right.
Get him.
You know, he told the story.
I was going to say, going back to the younger girl, I think it's generational, the whole
mom thing, because I can't tell you the number of cop cams I've seen where, like, a person, like, in their early 20s, late teens, gets,
pulled over and immediately they're like
I gotta call my mom. If I don't call my mom.
No. Dude, all the time. And I'm talking
as old as like 30.
It's insane.
It's insane. It happens
all the time. There's a generation that
was
babyed. We saw it happen. We saw the rise of
helicopter parents and been like
I mean, I'm not saying that I
I'm not guilty
of it, you know, that
me and my wife. You know, we
we did things that I wonder if we were you know beneficial you know like at 17 like you know
the Easter money should not have been something like oh come on
we're still like playing up as like this shit's bunny brings you chocolate at 17 were they just
pretending to make you guys happy at that point yeah but you know what I'm not not I'm not
I'm just joking but yeah there was things like like you know like me like could we
have toughened them up more probably right you know you know you know
Tough like their old man.
Grizzly.
It's certainly not tough either.
So it's like, you know, it's, I don't know.
There's no easy answers.
There's no easy answers.
There are none.
I want to announce that I have some personal comic book news.
Oh.
Really?
I did the artwork for an exclusive cover for the Secret Stash variant of Kevin's new Spider-Man
and Hulk miniseries.
It's only going to be available at the Secret Stash, and I'm not even sure what number issue will be, but it will only be available at the secret stash.
And I was able to cram as many Spider-Man and Hulk characters on the cover as I possibly could.
Oh, that's great.
Jam-packed with...
Rick Jones is in there, obviously.
Oh, villains.
No friends, like no Mary Jane or...
Like the leader, the abomination, all that stuff, yeah.
Bing, Bing, yeah.
For the Hulk.
And you know what?
I came away.
The Hulk doesn't have a great rogues gallery.
He does not.
He doesn't have, like, great synonymous villains that are only, like, that's a Hulk villain.
Right.
It's leader abomination.
Maestro.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Who's the Hulk?
So you can't really.
Yeah.
But you had, like, Juggernaut who really wasn't his villain at first.
Oh, Saxon villain, right?
You had Wolverine.
Okay.
Somebody that's synonymous with him.
And who are Sony others I got in there?
I can't remember now.
But there's a whole bunch of Spider-Men.
Spider-Man's got a lot more rogues galleries.
But yeah, I was very excited.
I want to thank Kev for reaching out and offering to allow me to scratch my Marvelage in a way that I've never been able to do before.
That's awesome.
Yeah, that's really cool.
I have other comic news.
Oh, all right.
This is great.
So years ago, the line of hard covers reprinting all of Marvel's titles in chronological order called the Marvel.
Masterworks Day ceased
publishing. They went on hiatus.
Right.
Causing me much...
Oh.
Oh my God.
He's Gettom's Kane story.
You've been to hurt on the Masterworks Forum today?
So it caused me much dismay,
sadness, and
grief. As I was like,
I fucking adore
this line and it was the only thing that made me
excited in the world of collecting at this point.
I didn't buy new things.
I just wanted to have every Masterworks volumes.
I was devastated.
So when it was announced this summer that the publisher, Clover Press, has stepped in to pick up the torch and continue publishing the Marvel Masterworks.
They're going to lean on crowdsourcing.
Okay.
I was beyond giddy.
I was, someone would say, like, I looked like I was on E.
You didn't even hit me that day.
I let you tell any of all stories.
You couldn't mind to smile off my face.
I thought you saw a helicopter.
It's so euphoric that I did something I never do.
I reached out to Clover Press.
I introduced myself as having worked in a comic book store,
being on a comic book TV show for so many years,
yada, yada, yada.
I was the breakout star of comic book.
I was also involved with this podcast
that I do with another comic book man,
Brian Johnson,
and I had to drop.
Yeah,
go for it.
I had to drop your name,
you know,
Brian Quinn from IJ is on there,
and he too is a huge comic book fan.
And I offered just out of love to get the word out of about this new relaunch for the Masterworks.
Great.
And I was thinking like we could do an ad here or there for their Kickstarter.
And I went,
I went rogue.
I went rogue and I said I would do it for free.
Actually, we would all do it for free.
I have their proxies.
So you don't have this block.
I can't throw a deadwood reference by me, buddy.
So.
Sip it as whiskey or?
I didn't know if I'd hear back from Clover.
But I did hear back.
from Clover Press and they
asked if we would
do an interview with the publisher.
His name is Hank
Canales about
the game plans for the return of the Marvel
Masterworks on TSD.
All right. But wait. Now look, I know
that this is not something
used to
are really all that it is. I'm fucking happy to do
this. This is great. Really?
Yeah. This is something that like because
well, I'm worried about you guys
because it's not something you give too fucks about.
And you know how the listeners can get.
The listeners are like, they like,
we got fucking Spanguli for fucking multiple episodes on Halloween.
And they were like, this shit sucks.
They fucking are not afraid to fucking voice their displeasure
if we stray too far out of our box.
Sure.
And this might be going outside the box of bringing in somebody that they would be like,
well, I don't care about this.
This has nothing to do with what I listen to TSD about.
You know, you can't love every episode.
That's just the way it is.
Like if you go in, especially like fucking 16 years in, like some are just not going to tickle that sweet spot.
So we're at least part of it.
Right.
It's not even going to be like an hour long interview.
Oh, you're right.
I thought two hours.
My interview coached no one else's right.
Yeah, I figured like a 15 minute interview.
He comes in?
He's going to call in.
He's going to call in.
I asked if he could do it today.
He couldn't do it today.
Okay.
But I spent the previous night thinking he was going to do it today all night coming up with quite.
I thought I was fucking interviewing a head of state.
I am so nervous about this and I am so like the anxiety because like I want this to be, I want him to walk away being like, that's a podcast that can fucking make a difference.
Okay.
in any business.
I love it.
That's great.
I'm with you, man.
That's why I was kind of like, man, if we hit it out of the ballpark, you know, maybe there's a road we go down where we're not just.
Or I got free Marvel Master Wars.
Oh, yeah.
I want to travel that road.
Yeah, that road where every Master Ork is paved with Marvel Masterworks.
Yeah, they just show up at my house.
And I'm crying and I'm like, how did these come here?
How did this happen?
This is the Marvel.
Who did this for me?
Thank you, God.
Remember when I used to get all those free hockey cards?
But these I won't flip on eBay immediately.
These I'll cherish.
I never fucking immediately run to eBay.
I was getting up the deck was sending me like boxes of sealed hockey cards for like the longest time.
I have no idea why I never fucking spoke to upper deck, but they were they were dressed to me.
Yeah.
So I would fucking open them up and I immediately fucking.
to put them on eBay, sell them for like $300.
Yeah, that's great.
Like the OCHP works with them.
Yeah, the OCP cards or whatever those are.
That's great.
But I would never do that if they were to be so kind as to comp me for all the fucking
work I did on their behalf to spread the word.
I'm going to be like Johnny Apples.
Well, both you guys.
I'll be Johnny Apples.
We'll be the helpers.
We'll carry your bags and apple seeds.
So when you come back from England, I'm hoping to, like, set up a little interview.
Happy to do it.
Happy to do it.
I have two questions.
Okay.
Well, let's hear them.
I'll repeat if they match anything that's on my list.
One, we already talked about it.
We're going to get us some Marvel Mass piece.
We got a hope we get.
Well, I don't know if I can promise you guys are getting any.
Oh, man.
I was counting on it.
All right.
then the other thing is
because I'm not...
I told him I didn't want anything.
Why the fuck would you say that?
He's new.
You know that's a fucking...
That's a psychological fucking ploy.
He's playing with him, man.
He's toying with him like a cat and a mouse.
I'm playing fucking chess.
Hank's playing fucking checkers.
Yeah, but no,
chess would have been like...
Chess would have been like, Hank,
I just want to see if you're interested
before I take it to my partners
because we don't normally do stuff like this for free.
And I got to sell it to them.
So I just, before I go to them, are you interested in it?
Then you come back to us.
And then you go, Hank, the guys have fucking loved the idea.
They were just wondering if we got a couple of Marvel Maskedies.
Now it seems like you jumped a hurdle for them.
And they're lucky to just give us a few masterpieces.
This is why he's not a misfit.
This is BQ wants him.
I can almost guarantee you.
Like, your name is the only one you probably record.
Plus, he's probably listening to this right now.
I doubt it.
No, you don't think so?
I don't think so.
Draw the line of Johnson.
All right, fine.
So my second question is, so these storylines, because I don't have any of the Marvel, that's not true.
I think I have, did they put out a Conan?
That was an omnibus.
Okay.
But that was chronologically reprinting all the Marvel.
They're very close to a Masterworks.
The Masterworks are the definitive collection, in my opinion, of reprinting comic books.
Okay.
Because they're not as fat, like they're not.
not cinder blocks of like issues where you can't really read it in a comfortable
manner.
They're more tall.
Yeah.
Like the masterworks are like only 10 to 12 issues, beautifully reprinted, beautifully
recolored and remastered.
This is the definitive way to do it in my opinion.
Okay.
So then my second question is what's the latest era storyline that they've reprinted in Marvel in these?
Okay.
Which one is the most current to 2026?
Right now, the Kickstarter is launching and they are just starting to reprint Jim Lee's first X-Men run.
Oh, okay.
So we're getting there.
Yeah, but the X-Men line is far advanced as opposed to some of the other lines, which some of them are still stuck in the 80s or the 70s.
Okay.
Because the X-Men took this long break where they weren't publishing new stories in the 70s.
Okay.
And then when they came back as the all-new X-Men with Claremont.
So there was a gap where they didn't have to reprint anything.
Okay.
So that's why they have, their timeline is much more closer to 2026 than the other ones.
Okay.
So is there any way that we can, at any point, steer what storyline they do?
Well, they have to reprint it in chronological order.
Okay, well, that answers to that then.
But you can, like I have my nerdy questions, like my wish list.
of titles that I'm like that haven't been done masterworked.
Right.
So I cannot wait.
This is like,
yeah.
This is like talking to like a rock star in my opinion.
I get it.
I get it.
I get it.
And like I have so many nerdy questions.
Like I want to be able to show them like,
you know,
I'm not just here for the ride,
man.
I'm a ride or die.
Maybe you and I should like leave.
Leave.
Make obvious mistakes.
Yeah.
And have.
Just like,
just get to me in.
Then then just quietly leave the room.
No,
no.
Well, like,
fuck, we'll fuck up something and you'll be like, guys.
Yeah, keep calling a masterpieces.
Yeah, like, call him gold additions.
He loves that.
Oh, yeah.
I understand that.
It really fucking bothers me.
Yeah, but that's the new, they're going to do,
they're going to finish the Tomb of Dracula series that remained unfinished.
Walt Simonson store run.
They're going to continue it.
That's not going to finish it, but they're going to continue it.
Supervill and Team Up, a 70s book that has,
never been collected in a hard cover is going to be all the issues, all done in one.
It's every issue.
And then that X-Men one on the far right starts the legendary Jim Lee run with that Captain
America cover.
Yep.
With Wolverine.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So all right.
So you guys don't have any objections to this.
Zero.
I'm excited.
We're excited about it.
Awesome.
Okay.
Then, uh, did they do Punisher yet?
That was on my wish list.
Okay.
They haven't touched a Punisher yet.
And I don't know.
It's the mapping for Punisher is fucking crazy because he appears in so many things before he gets his own book.
So there's a lot of fucking guest appearances that they'll have to get to before they can even like.
Oh, so that's how they do it.
It's not a monologically.
Character's appearances.
Okay.
Got you.
Yeah.
It's like almost like if a museum were to approach this.
Right.
All right.
I'm in.
All right.
So we get back from London.
Hopefully, you know, we'll talk to.
Hank.
Yeah,
love to.
I got one
DoorDash story where
Let me do the ads
Okay,
real quick.
Leave them hanging.
Leave them hanging because
most of my
DoorDash stories,
the people I'm delivering
to are the assholes.
Okay.
I'm going to flip the fucking
script.
Really?
I'm always the asshole.
Wow.
All right.
Look forward to here.
You don't,
you don't believe it,
huh?
Yeah.
Okay.
It's not the Walt I know.
Admitting to being an asshole or being an asshole.
Yeah.
The distinction.
Under advice of counsel, I know.

Yeah.
It's like there's not much better.
But then my wife is like,
we're going to go for my birthday to like AC on Sunday.
Oh, no.
Well, was that the opening day?
And I'm like, there's a game that day.
Why can't we go Saturday?
Why can we go at 4 o'clock when the game's over?

See website for more details.
And that is it.
Ooh.
Now we can listen to some DoorDash Diaries.
A very short story.
not long or engaging at all.
It makes me, I struggle.
I was conflicted.
Should I tell a story that doesn't make me look good?
Should you keep it real?
It might be too real.
You know, they're called a six-year-old a cunt.
Not that real.
Flashback to the other week, did you hear about the naked DoorDasher?
Yeah, somebody sent me emails about somebody who was delivering DoorDash.
and the new yeah yeah oh yeah that is probably a dude yes yes no doubt no doubt i don't think he's
going to be allowed to doordish any longer he's not going to be platinum once they find out who that was
but i was out with my wife it was me and her and she was assisting me and we got this call to get
water at a n p like 24 bottles of water and then pick up some mcdons which which are right across
street from each other. My wife was under the assumption that it was a two-part delivery that it went to
two different locations. So the first only had to drop off was McDonald's and it was to a nail salon.
I went inside and they were like, oh, we didn't order anything. We didn't order it. But on my phone
it said that I was at the location by if I wanted to, I could just take a picture of him and leave it.
and I would be, they would have deemed it as I delivered it because from the GPS they said that's where it was.
But I was like, well, let me just see if it's the other place, which is an Indian restaurant.
And when I walked inside, there was nobody in there.
So I'm waiting.
And some lady, an older lady comes out of the back room and I hold up the McDonald's.
And she reacted as if I was holding up human waste.
I was like, no, no, no, we didn't order that.
No, it was kind of pushing me out.
Yeah.
I was like, all right, right.
I was just seeing if it was you guys.
And it was like, I just showed the, she didn't want to look at the phone.
I was like, you know, you put the phone up to try to explain.
It's not us, not us.
Like, you know, we, like, why would we order that?
You know.
So I'm going back into the car and I tell my wife, I was like, it's not them either.
I wasn't annoyed at her.
I was more like, I don't know what to do here.
move on until, like, we can't deliver the water until we, until this McDonald's is deemed,
delivered.
So I was like, I'm just going to take a picture of it.
And so I go outside to put the miles back on, just on the sidewalk where this, in this plaza,
when the same Indian lady comes out, and she goes, it's ours.
It's ours.
And I'm like, oh, it's yours.
And she goes, yeah, somebody in the back ordered it.
Oh, ho, ho, like laughing now.
I'm like, oh, oh, well, you go.
Oh, good now.
Yeah.
So I get back in the car and I was like, yeah, it was the Indian place.
And I told her, I was like, all right, so where do we got to go to deliver the water?
She goes, well, and she says, it's a minute away, she says.
It's like a minute away.
I go, that's unusual.
But it turned out it was the same address as the McDonald's.
So I was like, this fucking idiot, I said, doesn't even know.
Yeah.
You know, that she also ordered fucking water too.
Like, how fucking dumb are you?
And unaware can you be in your own business?
So the water is in the back of my
Of my SUV
So I have to get out
And I open up the trunk
And I'm talking to my wife
From the back of the truck
To the like she's sitting in the passenger seat
And I'm like
This fuck wit is so stupid
I go
What a fucking idiot
I go
You know she's ushering me out
Like you know
And then all of a sudden now
This is all her order
I was saying some
Pretty raunchy
I was kind of being annoyed
And when I turned her
around with the water, she was standing right behind me.
I wanted to die.
Oh, man.
I wanted to die.
She heard it all.
The face was just like the fucking evil eye was just like, oh.
Evil third eye was on you.
Oh.
That is wrong.
Like, there was like, that I was mortified as I turned around and saw her sand and
and I was like, you want me to carry this in?
Oh.
Because it was 24 bottles.
Right, right.
Put it on the ground.
She goes.
I was like, all right.
Have a good day.
Did you get a rating?
No, no rating.
Really?
Did you a favor?
But I don't think she could give a rating because she didn't do the order.
It was some cook or somebody in the back of the restaurant had placed the order.
So unless she had access to his phone or told him, you know, that probably maybe they would give me a bad rating.
Here's the thing, though, like, yeah, you come off looking like an asshole, but.
Were you wrong?
I wasn't really wrong because she wasn't fuck wit.
She was fucking just like.
Like dismissing you, chasing you off.
And then and then didn't know anything, but was so fucking sure that like nobody had placed the order here.
Like I was the fuck a moron who didn't know where I was going.
Of course.
Yeah.
But condescension, man.
It'll get you every time.
Yeah.
I thought, but is it really my fault?
No.
She was in my fucking like, like she invaded my space.
It was an, it's, it's.
She was too close.
It's an unfortunate, yeah.
Turfall.
It's unfortunate and uncomfortable, but you were within your rights.
You know she probably was like, she had some fucking choice words for me.
Oh, yeah.
You see this idiot door dish.
I can never eat there again.
I don't eat any food that you were going in on.
Yeah, that is, that's my only door dish door.
I did want to shout out.
The wannabees podcast, Justin and Nick, they did something for an aunt.
I asked him for some assistance regarding an aunt who needed some advice that only Nick could give.
And a super nice guy took some time out of his day for a total stranger to give him some advice about his field.
That's cool.
Yeah.
So that deserves to be recognized because most people are.
or have that.
What's in it for me?
What do I get out of it?
Yeah.
By getting a Marvel Masterboard?
I was going to say R.E. Clover Press.
That's the coin of the realm around these parts.
Hank's about to find out.
I, uh, speaking of really nice guys, I actually, not accidentally, but I, in,
unintentionally dissed Eli.
Oh.
Yeah, I know.
I know.
It was because we were supposed to go to lunch last Friday.
And I was like, all right.
I told them, I was like, I'm going to be a little late because we're going over to get these cats.
Mary Beth and Sage wanted to go look at the kittens and stuff.
So I was like, all right, I'll go over with you.
Yeah.
It took six hours from the time we left to the time we got back.
It was six hours.
It took so long to adopt these kittens, man.
It was fucking crazy.
Yeah.
I was like, it'd be easier to adopt a kid.
I know, but in a way you're happy, though, right?
Yeah, I'm like, yeah, they're really doing, they're checking everything out.
Yeah, I was telling him about that, like how insane they are over they are at the Humane Society.
I felt bad.
He came down and everything.
Yeah.
So I really owe.
I told him dinner's on me when QS3.
Yeah.
Oh, man.
Why was he in town?
He was in New York.
Oh, so it wasn't like he came here for.
No, no, no.
No, it's not like he flew here.
And I was like, sorry, I got a cat.
Right, right.
He was surprising a bunch of people in the area.
Oh, yeah.
Oh, so it's not just.
Yeah.
Oh, that little prick.
Oh, Eli.
Just me.
Oh, fuck you.
Wait, did he leave anything for me?
No.
Oh, Eli.
Eli.
Eli.
He said he hung out with Gil, I think.
Okay.
Yeah.
The guy who takes your shots.
Yeah.
Yeah, right on.
That's all right.
Cool.
Here he is.
He's up on the...
How often do...
How often do, since I'm not here, unless we're recording, do ants show up here?
from out of town
that are like, I'm here, I got them to do.
And do you guys ever hang out with them?
I've hung out with a couple in the past.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Where they're just like, I'm here, I'm a man.
And you're like, let's go, let's go grab something to eat or anything like that.
Yeah, but people like I know.
Okay.
Yeah, like that's that I know.
I haven't gone.
I've taken ants who've come here and I've taken them to their bus,
their train stop.
Train station, yeah.
And I bought them McDonald's one time.
A guy was here from Swamp.
Sweden, right?
I think so, yeah.
He's from really far away.
Sweden or Norway?
Yeah, something like that.
We go to McDonald's.
Yeah.
I don't think you'd ever been to McDonald's before.
No?
Yeah.
You'd never seen a French friend.
Sweden, wow.
Or a drive-thru.
He's just amazed.
This is the potato.
But, yeah, what about you?
Because I would think you would be,
that'd be a great thing for you.
Like, people coming in and you're like,
oh, I can hang out with.
Yeah, they come in and hang out, yeah.
But you don't, you don't like flop in
to like come to the buffet with me.
No.
No.
No.
But you know what I always do?
I always have to get them come with me just so there's no accusations of impropriety.
Yeah, that's good.
Get a witness going.
Why, how many women come here?
I'm bumble both male.
Yeah, dude.
You never know.
2026.
I guess, yeah.
No, I get it.
I mean, I get it.
There's been women here, though.
They're having.
And I definitely would not offer it up unless I had somebody else in the bar with me.
Okay.
Yeah.
Just being smart.
I'm just curious.
I usually plan my meals for the day.
So it's like.
What?
I plan when I'm going to eat for the day.
Yeah.
So like I already usually have.
You wouldn't be like Eli.
Come with me.
Let's hang out.
Eli offered.
And like I said, I had plans that day already.
And the plans would eat?
Can't alter those plans.
What were your plans?
I'm dying to know.
Buffet?
No, he had shop right fucking food that was going to expire.
Yeah.
Or it was already expired.
It's going to expire more.
Yeah.
But let's say it wasn't Eli.
Let's take that exact same situation, except it's a female aunt.
It's Chelsea who was here like a week or two ago.
Did she came in with Alex?
Okay.
Yeah, no.
It's, I'm...
No, wouldn't go?
Oh, you're gay.
You wouldn't, you wouldn't for, you wouldn't, a female aunt's, you still wouldn't do it.
No.
I see.
That's curious.
I have no problem hanging out, you know, here with them and everything.
It's just, you know.
Should I cut out, though, that I'm driving people?
to the train stops because then they'll be
Everybody's like, hey man, here's my Uber.
Then everybody's going to expect it then.
Then if I don't offer it, they're like,
why don't I get offered?
Free ride back to the.
Yeah, why am I giving the royal treatment?
Yeah, why don't I get fries?
Everybody else gets fries.
I guess I'm not from Sweden or whatever the fuck.
Start making things up.
Wow, I would think forget him.
It would be like, that would be like nice.
How is he going to get them in like?
He can't even have anybody in his car to take them to the fuck.
No, but if like these two people that came...
Right.
If they came here by train, that means they got dropped off, walked.
They would have to only go somewhere in the plaza.
Well, even that.
Like, yeah, like, there's a couple of rest.
Like, why wouldn't you say to this lady, whatever...
That's the social anxiety thing.
But you're almost like...
Like, who is it?
Chelsea.
And Alex.
Alex.
Oh, I know.
Yeah, yeah.
Okay.
All right.
But there's, you really, there's no part of you that's like, ah, I'll go to.
It's a total stranger, though.
It's awkward.
I mean, Alex isn't.
We had fries.
It was like, done.
And it's like, I was like, you didn't even finish him.
I was like, here, as you stop, get out.
Yeah, but what if you in this?
This is my, this is my track.
No, yeah.
But this Chelsea girl could have been like your, like, your soulmate.
And you'll never know because.
Wasn't she with Alex?
No, she's not a boy, her boyfriend or anything.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, I know.
They're just friends.
Oh, okay.
So you fucking should have shot your shot, man.
Yeah.
I'm saying, like, what...
Is that what you want?
The office coach, are we doing, shooting this shot?
No, I worry about him.
Like, to everybody that walks by?
I saw a shot at a night after a city.
Andrew's coming here to visit.
Get him, please.
Don't shoot you guys.
Don't shoot you shot.
You're right.
You're right.
I just worry about getting him, like, one day, like, what's going to happen?
He's going to go on, like, indeed.
Not indeed.
What's the, what's the, some of these dating?
Like, Tinder or something?
Yeah?
Tinder or something like that?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Not, isn't that the game?
No, no, that's Grindr.
Oh, okay.
Go on Grind.
Go on the one.
Maybe get a date that way.
Like, has no connection to TSD.
Don't try and steal Alex's girl.
All right, fair enough.
Wow.
But what are you going to do get them?
What do you, like, what do you envision?
I don't mean, like, you know, I'm at the age now where I'm thinking about, like,
the next three decades of my life, what do I want to do with them if I even get them?
and where
are you with that?
Like where are you?
What do you?
Let's say the podcast ended for whatever reason.
It's not.
I can't.
What he's going.
It's calling.
But let's say like,
we drive off a cliff.
Okay.
Okay.
The three of us.
The three of us.
We're on a way to do.
He was driving.
Yeah.
You.
Yeah, you.
I think it's to make it right here.
And like,
but what?
But what?
you want for the rest of your life, I guess?
Like, what do you want? Like, do you want
a family? Do you want a relationship?
Do you want to? Like, what is, what is the future
you envision for yourself? Asking the
questions that keep me up at night.
Oh, you do think about this stuff. And you don't
come up with any answers.
Well, like, they're
hard. I'm not criticizing. Yeah, yeah.
The comfort zone is hard. Like, this is
life, but this is, we all have to. Life is hard.
So where,
where, like, where does your head go with them? And I'm
not asking to make fun of you. I'm literally like, I
I know, I understand.
I never, you, like, where, where do you want to be at 60?
That's, that's a toughie.
How old enough, 47?
49.
49, wow.
48.
Yeah, 48.
Oh, soon.
You never, you don't have any sort of plan.
I know it sounds like I'm setting up to make fun of them.
I swear I'm not.
Like, I just, I wonder about you where it's just like, what?
So you had plans?
things to shake out?
Well, when I went in the fire department,
I was like, I'm going to do 20, 25 years,
and then I'll, you know, I was 28 when I got on,
but like, I certainly have plans
for what I would like, you know,
we're all right, boats on that ocean,
we don't know where we're going to get blown up,
but at least like there's a vision or a goal
or even a preference.
I don't think I can say that.
I had that.
I never had a plan.
Never had a vision.
Yeah, but you got,
you got in a good way on the rails of what your life was going to be you got married young
kids that just that puts you in a certain you know you're on a track a beautiful track he
has not right so so so so in a way his future is wide wide open and i'm just curious that's the
song i like that what was that into the great wide open into the great right so it's like where
if you could if you could have a say in it
Where would you end up?
Like, what would you, what do you want to do?
What's wrong with this?
No, but this is, but the car went off the cliff.
Oh, okay, that's right.
Well, you wouldn't carry a torch?
I would try.
Okay, well, that's an answer.
I'll get them all the time.
Look at this week's episode.
Tell him Steve Dave.
We're talking boots today, people.
And maybe if we got Ty McKean story.
Stop tapping.
me. What does that mean?
I don't know, but you know what I'm asking.
Yeah.
Yeah, I think it's, I think some people have the ability to plan.
And some people don't have that kind of, um, foresight or whatever.
He says he does have it.
He does, he says it keeps them up at night.
Right, but I don't know if he has a plan, though.
Sure.
But yeah, I think it's a lot of opportunities that like, like, well, that's regret.
That's different.
Yeah.
We all have them.
Yeah, yeah.
I've repeatedly heard girls say, like, get him's a good looking good.
I have heard that.
Not as much anymore.
But, yeah, no, people who.
I think you've got to trim that.
You got to fucking get a close fucking shave.
Keep the beard, but get it closer.
Telling you, make a world a difference.
There's a plan for that.
It's just, you know.
I know what, I know.
But at a certain point, you have to, you can't use that because it's holding you back.
I feel like we're almost even getting off course because you guys are talking about fixing specific things where I'm just talking about like what do you brand design.
Yeah.
Like what is the grand design?
I think that's too big.
What do you think about it?
Baby steps.
Yeah.
Yeah.
So that's it.
You just don't think about it.
I do.
I do.
It's just then it gets to the like.
Overwhelming.
Yeah.
Like the like agoraphobia almost.
Like it's okay.
You're like, oh crap.
It's it's this big.
Let's just stake in the hallway and then, you know, go from there.
Well, what would you not want to happen?
Like, what is it that you're like, that's what I would like to avoid?
He would want you not to get in that car and drive off a cliff.
Sure.
He's alive.
No, us.
Oh, yeah.
He doesn't want us to get in that car and drive off the chair.
Okay.
Okay.
He wants to stay away from any fucking.
Any cliff.
This moves to the middle of the country, planes.
All right. So you think I'm asking too much right now?
I, is it, but, Gettem, do you think I'm asking too much right now?
No, like I said, I think you're asking questions that I ask myself.
I just don't necessarily have answers.
But do you know what you don't want it to look like?
Yeah, like I don't want to be in freaking Debbie's basement for another five, ten years.
Right.
Which she seems to be happy with.
Sure.
Well, of course.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Huh. Yeah, I just wonder about it because like we could look at we could look at I don't know,
I just have a clearer vision of Walt's future and Brian's future than they do of your future.
And I wonder what I just wonder what your vision of your future is and what you want it to be.
These are heavy questions. I know.
It is. Yeah. Like I said, it's it's something I think about all the time.
And it just, you know, then it just gets to be overwhelming and it's just, you know, you got to take a step back.
And pushing out of your mind, yeah.
Yeah.
You know, if you want to sleep at night, don't be sitting there obsessing for, you know, an hour until it's three, four o'clock in the morning.
Is that why the natties are back big and in a big bad way?
It does help quiet in my mind.
Yeah.
Back in a big bad way, huh?
No, not.
I want to play a game.
Yeah.
Let's play a game.
We're done exploring.
I don't know if you're going to find the answers you're looking for.
But if we never try.
We never get there.
I don't know.
I don't know if there's anything that that can be done on his behalf other than he has to make the steps.
I don't think anybody can push him.
I don't think anybody can pull him.
Yeah, but I'm just wondering what direction the steps you want to go into, I guess, is what I'm not even talking about the steps.
I'm talking about which way do you want the steps to go.
You don't want kids.
I'd love to have kids.
I never knew that.
Yeah.
I knew that.
I think the idea that, you know, my line began with...
So you don't want to steal Alex's girl and make you your own?
But I'm not...
I don't think I'm in a position to, you know, have children right now.
But you could freeze your sperm.
I've thought about it.
I want to put it in the refrigerator over here.
I'll hold on to it for you.
Walt.
That's this.
I hasn't happened to view a skew fridge, but...
Oh, yeah, but you forgot.
to take it.
Hopefully Mike's fucking put it in his coffee.
Is that a joke?
No, that's not a joke.
What, what happened?
He jerked off into a fucking napkin and put her in the refrigerator.
I'm only fucking,
he jerked off into the NDA.
It's an MDA cover egg.
All right.
So don't, don't, I should, I just shouldn't think about you again.
I just shouldn't worry about you.
Nothing wrong with it.
I can't tell you what to do.
All right.
But at this point, I don't know what you can do to change it.
I don't think there's anything I do to change it.
No, but he's my friend.
I want to understand them more.
And, you know, you don't know how you get help someone unless you know what the fuck they're trying to do.
But he's got to start making steps on his own, though.
Sure.
You know, that's the first thing.
But at age 48, he, if he, I.
think he would be able to make those steps if he knew the direction that those steps were
supposed to go.
If it's just, I just want to sit here and drink daddy lights in, in ours.
Are they lights?
Daddy's.
Like if he just, if like the plan is to just drink in this office as long as the podcast goes,
like, that's not that much of a plan, you know?
And by the way, he's already achieved it.
So what's next?
He's fucking aced it.
Yeah.
He killed it.
Came in as an amateur.
Seasoned veteran.
All right.
Okay.
All right.
If there's not,
I tell you might open up.
Maybe there's a friend that you can hook him up with,
like a blind date here or there.
Well,
she's already married.
Talk about the bathroom incident?
No,
no, no.
Somebody else.
You know,
I know who you're talking about.
I asked everybody in Tessie.
town like if they have a sister
you know that
but I just said he should
could take this girl this Chelsea girl to lunch and you said no
not a listener I want I would
I think somebody who isn't part of his
like who doesn't know all the preconceived notions about him
knows all the crazy shit and knows
it doesn't have like his standing
it doesn't come into play
his standing with everybody around us
you know as the kind of
odd eccentric
yeah but he but I think my
point is like he is an autocentric.
He's always going to be an autocentric.
We can't get away from that.
We have to lean into it.
Right.
But if a listener knows more about him going into it, then he knows about her.
Well, he's in public.
There's just no way around that.
I see what you're saying.
If she listened, she knows everything that said on Mike.
But what if she, but she, but.
And, you know, not necessarily not all that's true.
So there's stuff that said on Mike.
so.
Right.
Okay.
What's something that wasn't true that you would like to say.
Well, things, things can be taken out of context.
That's Chelsea?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Don't bother taking huddle lunch.
What the fuck?
I don't know who it is.
I don't know who Chelsea.
I don't think you were here when she was.
Yeah.
Okay.
Where was I that day?
Where the fuck was I that?
Los Angeles.
Oh.
That's who Alex is named?
No, that's who he's hanging out with.
Oh.
Okay.
All right.
Anyway,
is she a listener?
Yeah.
Like I said, I think somebody from the real world would be more beneficial to him than a listener.
I don't know why I think that, but just my gut says that.
Yeah, but then think about that.
Then there's not like preconceived note.
Yeah, but then you have something almost worse.
You've got someone who's like.
He's going to discover.
And then it's just like, well, let me listen to what he's been up to.
And then now, you know, I think it's better if they know beforehand,
going into it with the feeling.
We don't have a lot of listeners.
We can't lose them because he fucks it up, though.
I just want to be good.
That girl listens to this show?
Jesus crap.
Since she was like 18.
She's, I think she's 26.
26 now.
I'd start working out if I were you.
Wow.
All right.
Anyway, so there's no, okay.
So there's no, there's no plan.
There's no plan.
I mean, you have a network of people.
You don't know any single gals like around 40 to 45?
Well, you need someone that lives in Jersey.
Or New York or Staten Island.
How's you going to Staten Island?
He's got a car.
You're going to drive Staten Island?
I'm going to get to the tolls again?
Yeah, well, that's what I'm saying.
Can you borrow your easy pass?
I'm not as pimp.
I made a copy of his life's been already.
All right.
Well, think about it.
Would you put some thought to it?
Because I'd like to revisit this with you.
Because I think it's fascinating.
I think if we peel back just a little bit,
we're going to find some hidden depths in this guy.
Oh, I don't doubt it.
And I want to expose that to the world.
For whose benefit?
His?
And his future...
Future wife?
Or future friend?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You, I know, look, I understand that you live with him day and day out.
So all this seems like an impossible waste of time to you.
He's like the English Lacha.
Yeah.
Thank you very, very much, too.
But he had a girl.
Yeah, Simca.
He could have a girl easy, but it's keeping the girl with all his fucking,
staunch
foibles
way of handling things
and never deviating
and being very stubborn
it's difficult
you know
there's not a lot
to give in his routine
and trying to convince a woman
to eat expired food
is going to be a challenge
it's a tailway for me
inspired
all right
so all right
the game
okay
the game yeah
so Bri you're playing for
Schultzie boy
Shulte
Baby
Shulte baby
on Twitter
At Shulte
Baby
Q is playing for
Cliff
Snavely
Can I play for
Chelsea
And Jim is playing
for
Nate
Know that guy
Nate
Yeah
Matt
Yeah
I'm gonna
Yeah
I had a little
trivia
quiz earlier this morning
And these were
the three winners
So it's
Mortal Kombat or Moral Combat
2. I present to you a
scenario. You guys choose
which way I go, which way I lean.
Okay.
The first one is
a doozy.
And I want to thank Tom
Milosheski for coming up
with the game.
Suck up. He's always
creating for the benefit of TSD and that he
deserves to
be acknowledged and
thanked and
slobbered on once in a while.
Not a lot of people do it online.
Can I remember?
Yeah.
The Alpine game. Remember the Alpine? Of course you remember the Alpine.
Oh, yeah, yeah. The game were from Beat the Baron.
I think about that. I think I'd like a rematch.
I would love to take you on again.
I would like a rematch now that I understand the rules.
I think the same thing would happen though, but.
That's okay. That's okay. I don't mind losing. I don't mind losing if I lose.
I just think about it sometimes. I'm like, I didn't know the rules and it eats at me.
Okay, so when you're back from London, we'll look at night and we'll record a new episode of Beat to Baron where BQ comes back.
I would love to.
And I agree.
I'll probably lose again.
But at least I feel like at least I had a fair shot at it.
Right.
All right.
My fear is that I'm going to win and then have to go against you because I almost won last time.
I almost won.
I was one.
I was one question away.
I would not lose a lot of sleep with those fears.
I'm not left in three days.
A lot more valid fear.
as you can focus on.
And my fear is like, what if I beat Walt and he feels bad about himself?
You don't worry about that.
You know what they say about almost, right?
So, Gettam, can you keep score on your phone?
Sure.
I'll reveal what the winner gets at the end of the end.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, scenario one.
While helping Sunday, Jeff, move,
I stumble upon a journal written by Sunday.
In it, well, I open it and read an entry.
And in it, I learn.
He is secretly in love with me.
Okay.
I like it.
Do I put the journal away and ignore it forever and try to carry on as if it never happened?
Or do I confront Jeff, you know, and tell him that we can never be what he wants us to be.
We can, you know, we could, we may never be able to remain friends.
But he will never have me the way he wants me.
how can I ask questions sure I'm going to write down my answer okay and then you guys will have to figure out which one
okay what is the journal what is the tone of the writing is it hearts and flowers is it
I want to fuck them is it like it's romantic like you know and about how like I thought about wall today
every day while I was masturbating in the in the in the tub okay in the tub it wasn't the water in the tub
Dry tub jerkin
And then we went to
And we see the new
Like sci-fi movie
Star Wars movie
I sat next to
I almost put my hand on his hand
I did it by accident
And then he thought it was an accident
God I want to kiss him
Jesus Christ
BRB going back to the tub
Part of the tear marks on this diary
I could do this in Sunday in the room
He'd be human right now
Oh yeah I want to kiss you
Yeah
Hello
I got a woman at home to kiss you
Wow. So what are the choices?
Put the diary away.
Pretend I never read it and carry on as if I ignore it and never bring it up to him ever or confront him telling him what he wants us to be can never happen.
And maybe ending our friendship.
You know, I have to retelling him that.
Is the third possibility you never mentioning to him and it's still ending your friendship?
I could never end my friendship with him.
I would kind of be almost flattered.
You know, I'd be like, oh, Jeff thinks I'm hot.
I'm already, I'm in my 50s and he thinks I'm a hot.
I'm a haughty.
I would maybe even dress a little differently around them.
Some nice tight jeans.
Short bikines.
Cut off Adidas track pants.
You like these boots, Jeff?
I think it's the first one.
You think...
Oh, I don't think you want any part of it.
Long-standing tradition of the head in the sand.
Yeah.
Only based on everything I've known about him.
Yeah.
I cannot imagine you're not confronting him, but even mentioning it.
Yeah.
And being like, so I happen to peruse your journal.
You got to stay friends with him, but like, yeah, it changes everything.
Changes everything, and I don't know that there's any point.
He knows that he's not going to be with you.
He knows it.
So what's the point of having a conversation?
That's why he's tortured.
Yeah, but you...
That's why he's like, you know, like...
He's a cutter.
You know, he's an emotional wreck.
Yeah, but you saying that you saw it would only humiliate him
and then reinforcing that he's never going to have you...
Then I'm like, you know, we have to...
You're taking away to fantasy.
I have to end the friendship, but...
let's let's part with a kiss
just give him something
I know he's fucking
he's a argument
he's an argument
it's a mercy kiss
I saw a movie where the guy
is not going to get the girl
he really loves and she goes
she tells him we can never be more than friends
but she gives him a kiss at the end
you know that haunting last kiss
right I'd like to be able to give somebody
a haunting kiss
Sunday Jeff now
At this point
There's not many other people looking for it
Run my hand through his short hair
His bristly head
I don't think you'd do anything
Just ignore it
Yeah I think you just close it
That's what I would advise you to do
Really that's what you would do?
Yeah I think so
Really you would ignore it
Never ever once talk about it
It was Sunday Jeff?
No, just one of your buds
One of your buds, when you guys that you're like,
holy shit, I can't believe this.
But what do I do?
I probably wouldn't say anything because there's no shot of it.
So what's the point?
We already know how things stand.
And he keeps like telling him weird shit, though.
He's like, yeah, man, why don't we go on a cruise together?
Like on a boat?
We'll take an excursion.
We'll go swim with the pigs.
He's going to kidnap me and take you to an island.
It's you and him.
You have him in a palm tree.
All right.
All right.
You got to ignore it, yeah.
I think you're going to ignore it, but you probably might use it to your advantage at least once or twice.
How so?
Like you want you.
You need Jeff to do something so you, you know.
My car's running a little odd.
He leverages his feelings.
You think I'm that like.
Yes.
Manipulative?
Yes.
All right.
I'm about to reveal what I would do if Sunday Jeff's journal professed undying love and lust for me.
Yeah.
I would ignore it and never ever speak of it and not ever tall a soul.
Right.
Would you still?
would you still
would have changed anything on your end
of the friendship?
I want to say
I hope it wouldn't.
I don't know if I could remain that way
if like, you know,
the slightest little thing.
Yeah.
Oh my God,
he wants to fuck me.
You know,
but I would hope that I could
maintain a cool exterior
outlook, you know,
that never betrayed.
I think that's the best you could do.
Yeah.
That's the way to roll, I think.
Yeah.
All right.
We got 1-1-1.
The miracle kidney.
I am the perfect match for a donor who needs a kidney who will die without it.
Do I give it to them?
Do you know the donor?
It's a total stranger.
Don't know them.
But I'm in the hospital for whatever reason.
They're like, hey, your kidneys match, this guy needs a kidney or gal who needs, I don't know.
Is it Lindsay Dixon?
I mean, I think I know my answer to this.
I mean, I would have to thank you.
Because the way I always look at stuff like this is like you have kids.
So God forbid one day, like, you know, one of your kids needs a kidney.
It's like you're like, shit, I only got one left.
And I'm a perfect shield to hide behind.
I never even thought of that to get out of jail card.
You just thought, no.
No fucking way.
No.
No.
How come you think I'm that like?
selfish.
I'm going to keep all my organs.
Yeah.
I think that, yeah.
I don't know if that's selfish, but I think it is like, it's not someone you know.
I just went, I just got done talking about the wannabes how like how unselfish they were and how given they were.
Having a conversation.
Yeah.
Didn't you give you some hints about electrician shit as opposed to giving a kidney?
It's a lot.
It's a fucking tomato's tomato, right?
I go visit sick kids in the hospital.
I wouldn't go to the hospital and give a kidney.
Even to a sick kid?
Anybody.
Wow.
So you have a very staunch, firm stance on this.
I mean, I agree with Brian.
If my nephew or niece needed a kidney, I would give it up in a heartbeat.
But like, just some fucking person, I don't know.
So no, you're no donation on my end.
No donation.
No.
I would not donate the kidney.
But it wasn't like for,
I was thinking about like my kids might need one.
I think it would be more about like just your general feeling about medical professionals and stuff.
No, it was like I think I've damaged my kidneys from a lifetime of not drinking enough water.
I think they've told me that like, you know, every time I've gone to the birds, I'm not that it's many, but like they look at my history.
You're like, you know, you're dehydrated back this time, this time, this time, this time.
And like I wonder like, you may, I might need two.
Right.
I get up there.
You know, if I give one away now.
The one, you're fucked.
Yeah.
And I don't know if I did, I treated my kidneys the way I should have treated them when I was a younger man.
You know, I was wasting.
I was never thirsty.
That's the thing.
I was like, you don't drink.
I was like, yeah, I don't need to.
I'm fucking, fucking camel over here.
Yeah, I don't need to.
I'm never thirsty.
Joe Kamman.
Yeah.
Pump on his back.
All right.
So that's three, three, three, right?
Yeah.
Okay.
The perfect lie detector.
I discover a button.
And when I press it, I can learn whether or.
my wife has ever lied to me and what the lie was,
do I ever press the button?
Oh, that's a good one.
This is juicy.
Because, like, you wouldn't even finish the question.
I'd be, like, pressing that button.
Like, what'd you lie to me about?
Well, does a button tell you every lie or a random lie?
Just one lie.
It reveals a lie.
A lie that she told you.
So you press it 10 times.
If there's 10 lies, you're going to hear them then.
I don't think he's realistic to think even a,
even a, even a wife as great as yours would have never lied to you over all these fucking years.
There's a little white lie about something.
Just like just to not have to talk to you about something that she doesn't want to talk to you about.
Like that seems to me that like that's so unrealistic.
So it's like you're going to press the button.
You're going to get some bullshit.
Like, I don't know.
It might be, it might be something, you know, catastrophic.
What do you want to know?
That's the problem.
I want to know.
I'm in love with Sunday, Jeff.
Like, I think you would press it once.
And then that would depend on the lie.
That may be all you need to fucking, yeah.
Yeah.
My advice to you would be, do not press the button.
Do not press the button.
I don't think you would press the button.
No.
You're going to rock your whole world.
Press a fucking button to hear some lie.
That, by the way, might have happened.
30 fucking years ago.
And because of that, you're in the position that you're at right now,
which is pretty damn good.
And you sure is hell can't confront her with it.
How'd you know?
Oh, I told her.
Oh, he told her about the magic button.
Oh, okay.
I'm going to press it.
At least, you'll be like, hey, I can press this on any point.
Right, you better be on the up and up.
Can I watch that Lions game?
Finger hovering over and over a button.
Yeah, you can watch it.
We'll leave.
We'll go after the game.
Four o'clock.
Perfect.
Your clock's good.
Best time of the day to go to AC.
I would advise anybody not to press that button, and I don't think you would press a button.
Brian?
I'm thinking of myself and, like, with my wife, I feel like she's pretty solid.
And anything I discovered would be minor, so I would rather not broach that.
Am I arrogant enough to be like, I don't think she's lied to me.
I don't think she's like me.
Oh, she might have lied to me, but I know those lies are not, or nothing.
They're not damaging to you.
They're not going to alter history or anything.
So am I arrogant enough to believe that, like, or are foolish enough or.
We're trusting enough.
Trusting enough.
You have faith in her born by decades of her earning that.
So I might press it then, knowing that, like, hey, I got a little fuck of fear.
I don't think you do have anything to fear, but like.
Ignorance is bliss.
And like I said, you're at the spot you're at right now by not pressing that button and not knowing it.
So you'd just be rocking the vote.
if I had that button with my previous girlfriend, I would never press.
I'd be afraid it would fucking blow up on me.
We lost these seaboard.
So three across the boards.
No press.
Yeah.
I wouldn't press it.
Yeah, I'd be like, you know, it's not, I just don't feel the energy to.
Because if you did discover something, then you got to address it.
And it just pecks away at you for.
Yeah.
That would be like, you know what, man.
And it could be something you didn't remember, something you don't even remember,
and now it brings it back to your memory and it's...
I wonder if it's something like, and this isn't about that,
but like, let's say you're with someone a long time, 20 years you're with someone.
And you press the button and found out that in the first year and a half you were together,
she met her ex in a, she randomly met her ex in a bar
and ended up making out with him behind the fucking behind the bar.
In your first year and a half, by a Johnson, like the filthy fucking pig she is.
Like, I, I, to me, the suggestion of that, I would, I would be like, cares.
So what are, what are your, so long?
Who gives a shit?
But like to know that she did it?
Well, what are your expectations now do you know?
Like, what is, what do you expect out of yourself?
I still think I would, I would be like, I would be like, I don't think I would break up with her.
I'd be like, what are you going to
you want to look back on my first year?
Why don't we just fucking let this go?
Let's get rid of this button.
This devil button.
Throw them garbage.
I think it puts a new color
into things that I don't want there.
Even if I don't think it matters.
Yeah.
I guess she succumbs at temptation,
but she had the temptation,
dealt with it, and then continued on.
What are you going to do?
What are you going to do?
At the decade?
But again, it's going to be,
then it's going to be something
that's just pecking away at your head every, you know, every.
Right.
Yeah, because you know.
And it might even inspire you to press the button more because it's like, well, she lied about that.
What the fuck else did she lie about?
Now I got to fucking figure it all.
Yeah, man, that's all you're thinking about.
Like a fucking rat.
Yeah.
We're in real life.
Warfing guy.
Yeah, nobody, nobody's able to distance themselves.
All right.
Next one, the last vaccine, a deadly virus, has wiped out two thirds of the world.
I had the last remaining.
file of the cure. In front of me
sits two patients, both
in the end stages of the disease.
One is Ming Chen.
The other is the only
scientist left who can make more.
Do I save Ming
or the scientist? I wish I studied
science more.
Wish I would tag a parent.
Ooh.
This is a heartbreaking one.
This is a tough one.
Yeah. I don't know. What do you think?
well two-thirds is gone
Walt's still around
is your family around
I don't know if I'm not gonna
I can't answer too much about this
I feel like really boils down to like you guys
deciding am I going to save my friend
or save the world or the rest of the human
or the remaining people in the world
what is being in the room looking at you
with those
yeah he's like he's like
say it
eyes
and a stack of things to sign
at least sign these eight by tens
You're not going to give it a vaccine
Oh
It's rough
But I think you're going to give it to the scientist
You think I can allow
Myself to watch
Ming Chen die in front of me
Knowing that I could
Oh, he can die right then and there?
Yeah, they're in the last stages
Like if I have to like make the decision quickly
because whoever I don't give it to is going to die right in front of me.
Right.
One of them could save the entirety of the human race.
One of them you see once every three months.
But there's history, man.
I know.
Boy.
I don't.
He was a fellow comic book.
I'm not saying it's an easy one.
And I don't love the idea.
But, you know, Ming's got family too.
You know?
And they got to be saved.
And they're like, how would, how if I let him die, I'm saying, like, I could
he's fall back.
I'm like,
hey, man,
your family's going to be okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He's got to watch his family suffer then.
And the rest of humanity.
I don't love it.
You don't love it.
There's a difference between willing to take a bullet for a person
and willing to let all of humanity die for a person.
I think that there's a little bit of two levels.
What's that Star Trek?
The needs of the many outwee.
The Kobiashir.
You're in a little bit of a Kobe Yashiru.
The Mibiyashi Karoo.
Yeah.
I think it's more Spock than needs of the many outwee that needs of the need to.
the few.
The needs of the few
that weigh the needs of the one.
Yeah, but that was always put in question, though, wasn't it?
Yeah.
And that turned out to be a win-win anyway.
I think you're going to let Ming go.
I mean, I do.
And just waste away in front of me.
It's a disease that, you know, like he weighs
like 70 pounds.
No, I know.
Doesn't he already waste him?
Yeah, barely fits in his jeans.
Oh, no?
He's got beer.
He's chubbed up.
He's got beer fucking bulge.
Oh, no.
Our Ming Chen?
That beer boobs.
Beer boobs, Chen.
I think you just be like, look, Ming, we're going to call it the Ming Chen vaccine.
Oh, yeah.
And your sacrifice is going to be honored.
I just called that.
The rest of the world doesn't adopt it.
He's gone.
He was gone.
You whispered it his ears and he makes a science to save it after you.
Fuck you!
Yeah, I think you've got to go with the scientist.
As much as difficult as it is, and as long as you've known them since, what, 95?
Yeah.
It's a long time, 30 years.
I know the scientist a couple minutes, but still.
Scientists still has more value.
Yeah, I think you've got to go with the scientist.
You keep him around.
That's three for the scientist.
Yeah.
That's three for the scientist.
From the scientist.
Really?
Yeah.
I think you can convince yourself things led a great life and a happy life.
Been to all the cons he's ever wanted to go to.
And you're saving his family.
That's a big lie I got to swallow.
It gets easier.
Little sugar makes a pill go down.
Okay.
So everybody again in unison.
And again, you guys run the money.
I'm a nanosecond.
I'm like, see you.
I thought the question is going to be you have one cure, you have Ming in one bed and get him in the other bed and you only have to give it to one of them.
I don't want to answer that on Mike.
Okay.
Certainly not in front of get him.
I don't listen to.
I know Ming lessons.
I think, yeah, you know, the weight of the remaining population, I think even Ming would understand that decision, you know.
That's the right choice.
Yeah.
You know, I'm haunted.
for a week or two.
All the parades I'm going to.
Yeah.
I made the right choice.
You are celebrated.
I never have to buy a dinner at fucking Chick-fil-A.
I don't make the vaccine, but.
You go to Burger King.
They got nuggets.
They got nuggets.
Okay.
The lottery pool.
We got to get a winner here.
Tesde Town pooled their money together and brought a lotto ticket and won 500 million.
to be split evenly among everyone.
Sunday Jeff was the only one who didn't put money in
because he didn't check his text
and he didn't see the text.
First I don't get,
well, now I don't get the lottery.
Do I advocate to the group
to cut Jeff in
or do I conveniently ignore the situation?
This is interesting.
I'm going to tell you why.
This happened not to the tune 500,000 dollars.
It happened to the tune of,
like $200,000, not in my firehouse, but one of the firehouses on Staten Island.
And the one guy who didn't put in that night because he wasn't around when they all made the
It was like a whole, it was very similar to this.
I think 500 million, I think everybody, I think you give it to Sunday Jeff.
I think he'll ruin his life if you don't.
And it's not going to affect everybody else's life that.
much. You know what I mean?
It's like... So I advocate
to the group. I'm like, come on guys.
I think so. Come on. I think this is like,
do we want to be the type of person
that after
all we've built, after
all these years, to be like
fuck you, Sunday, Jeff.
Like, I don't,
I don't see you doing that. I don't think you
can make that move. I think, in fact, so
highly of you that I think that
everybody else said no that you would split
your share with Sunday, Jeff. That's what I believe.
Is this a constant pool or just a one-off?
Oh, I mean, that's, Tom posed a question.
That's all it says.
Say, 500 million, 100 million.
No, no, I'm saying it's like if it's done every week and this one week versus.
Yeah, I'm just saying it's like if it was, oh, like, hey, it's 500, let's all put in, you do it one time versus you do it every week.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that is a big difference.
Let's just go one time, though, for the hell of it.
Okay.
Yeah, I have to imagine that you're going to advocate.
You're just too good of friends with him.
And the fact that he just, like, that's such a Sunday, Jeff thing to do not check his text,
that you're like, you got to fucking sort of like extend.
If he said no, then I'd be like, hey, tell you story walking, motherfucker.
Like, we asked you to be in it and you said no.
But not seeing it, not answering it.
I don't think you can live with yourself on that one.
Yeah, I think you got to give him the cut him in.
I'm going to disagree.
Ooh.
Why?
I think you would give him something.
thing, but you might not necessarily
and convince everyone else
to give him with the split.
Wait a minute, so that is advocating for him to get the
split. No, no, I think I said, I think you'd
conveniently ignore the situation. No, I would think
you would give him something. Whatever happened to that 500 million.
You'd give him a consolation prize.
That doesn't answer the question. I kind of got
pick a song. Yeah, like a fucking, a skull?
No, I'm saying he wouldn't.
do it. So the answer is no. Yeah. Okay.
No, you wouldn't give him an equal.
You wouldn't advocate for him. I wouldn't advocate on his behalf to get an equal cut.
Oh, advocate. Oh.
Where were you?
I said, do I advocate to the group? Hey, we got to fucking cut Sunday in on this. He just missed the text.
Okay. Then you have. Or do I sit there and go, you know what, it ain't my fucking bitch.
I let him fucking do the legwork if he wants to make the case. But I ain't, you know, I'm on vacation.
Did I agree with them?
Did I agree with them?
Yeah.
They all right again.
Damn.
I would advocate that, you know, we can't do that.
Can't do it to something.
Can't do that.
That would be so cold.
This is why you waited until the end to talk about the prize just in case all three of us win.
You're each getting a comic.
Somebody's going to win this.
I stumble upon a backdoor on the Reddit forum, TSD Cares.
It allows me to see every real name and address of every Reddit user.
user in TSD cares.
Do I look at the names, or do I respect the privacy rights of the forum?
A forum nearly comprised of total assholes.
Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
I know my answer would be.
Uh...
Kick that back door open like...
It's fucking Starsky and Hutch.
Uh-huh.
Wow, this is the first one that I'm really kind of...
You don't know what I'd do?
Because if you open that door, really all you're doing is complicating your life.
Because what's the point out of that, you know, either you're going to see that someone that you liked said something shitty about you, which happened to me.
Really?
Can you spill?
I could spill, just beep the name, but that, like...
Well, not the name, but you saw somebody on a forum somewhere and it was somebody you knew said something nasty bit.
I found out that it was someone I knew that was saying it.
Oh, no.
Also, just bleep the name, but it was.
Oh, I know who it was.
Yeah, I remember.
It was a long time ago.
Oh.
Yeah.
So, and I just let it go.
I never even said anything to him.
Yeah, I remember that Ming did such investigation into that.
Yeah, yeah.
And also years ago, when I was dating a girl, there was somebody online going after her,
and I found out who it was, but that I did take revenge on.
You did the person again.
I didn't know.
person but I knew ways to fucking
jam them a little bit and I jam them
I'm a big fan of jamming
yeah oh I love to fucking jam
but
but do you want that in your life
you know what I mean
I would say you don't do it
I think you know I would advise you not to do it
okay I do not
look who needs it
okay Brian I wouldn't disagree
more I think that the second
you find that back door you're like you know
who your enemies are now.
And even if the names are
anonymous, some of them might not be.
And you can, then you know, then you
have a full picture. Yeah, this is definitive
of who it is. Yeah.
Yeah. And you might not necessarily take
any action, but you're,
but now you know. Now you're on
a level playing field with these people.
Now, I think somebody who's, if you find someone's being
like a two face to him,
bashing them online, but then like begging
him for stuff on like on like Patreon or
email, he's going to be like, fuck this,
person from now on, which saves the money.
And merchandise.
Oh, I said you kicked that door open like Starzian Hunch.
Okay, so you got two.
Two guys, this is one news.
BQ says no.
I know I would look.
I don't think that I should look.
I don't think that you should look and I think that you're a more evolved guy than me in
that way.
I don't think you look.
If into the security tapes you go, only pain you will find.
I'm just as medieval as you are.
you. Yeah. Yeah, I would look.
I would want to know because it would definitely play into like, oh, you're looking for
something now or you need something or you like, yeah, it would definitely be.
I actually have somebody sent me a really shitty fucking, I didn't know who it was,
but I tracked down who it was, like said nasty shit about my family and stuff.
I have that, I have that person's name. I don't know how I'm going to do it, but one day I'm going
to jam them. Jam them. Jam him. Yeah. Jabbing.
Shit on his, shit on his, shit on his.
grave.
I get it.
I get it.
I would do the same thing.
Yeah.
I have a list.
Yeah.
So that means, uh,
Brian and I are tied.
Yeah,
tied.
All right.
Okay.
Oh,
this is a good one.
The lucky inheritance.
A long time listener leaves me.
Just me.
Hmm.
Not used to.
Um,
five million in his will.
Yeah.
After he passes away.
Immediately after him passing a
way the son of this man calls me saying I should refuse it, insisting his father must have been
out of his mind to leave a podcaster $5 million and clearly intended to leave everything to his
family. Do I decline the money or take the stance? The will is the will. Do you know the person
or is a rando? I don't know where. Rando. A rando. Chelsea. And she's got $5 million? She did.
the, I think that you, I don't think you take it.
I don't think it.
Five million.
I don't think if you.
You know what?
I've got a door dash no more.
No more a fucking saucy Indian.
I agree, but like, you don't know them.
You don't know the situation.
So all you know, that person might have been out of their money.
You know what I mean?
Like, you don't know.
But if you knew the person and it was like, I want you to have this money when I die,
you might keep it, but I don't think you keep it.
You think I walk away from $5 million.
Like the law is on my side.
You could say that.
You could also say, look, I'll give you back four.
I'll keep one.
But I don't think you keep it all.
I don't think so.
I think you keep it because that would be insane not to.
Like you said, the will is the will.
Who knows what this other guy's deal is?
Like, he wasn't in his right mind.
You don't know that.
You don't know that.
You're absolutely right.
And he doesn't know.
He's like he must not have been in his right mind.
He's a kid.
Yeah.
Maybe.
You're right?
He doesn't have any...
Comments about that on Reddit.
I was more of a son to him than he ever was.
Probably.
I mean, this guy doesn't have...
If you don't know the guy...
I don't even know the guy who gave it to me.
That's no saying.
It's out of nowhere is the way that I'm looking at it.
You're right.
You're right.
I would just say, like, the son or whoever has no evidence that the guy was out of his mind.
He's just saying that because he's like, fuck, that's five million that could have been mine.
You're right?
You know what?
All right.
Yeah.
So I say you keep it.
I think you keep it.
I should keep it as well.
You say you'd keep it.
No, I say you would keep it.
I think I would keep it.
Yeah.
Why?
Again, you don't know he could have been a jet.
He could have been a jerk to his father.
Sure, you could spin any story.
So you had the money.
I can sleep at it.
Yeah.
You could sleep.
Probably abused him.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He was an elder abuse.
You know, you can hire a full-time friend for Teddy.
I know it sounds crazy.
I know it sounds like there's no way I could do it, but I don't say.
I couldn't take the money.
Really?
I couldn't do it.
I could not do it because I would be like, this is insane that some strangers give me this money.
And, you know, I could not, you know, hearing the fucking pleas of the family being like.
Suck it.
Fuck it.
I mean, I've watched you, since we start this Patreon, gnaw yourself to death to give people value for what they're paying for.
You, I just don't think you would be able to just take someone's money.
That's right.
Yeah, I think my wife would be.
ahead of me, but I think I would be like, I can't keep this money.
There's no way I can keep it.
Hopefully, you know, it's not just you though.
It's the daughter.
It's your other daughter.
It's the grandson.
You could spin it off into like a scholarship or something.
I get it.
But like my initial gut, after hearing that question, I was like, I couldn't take that money.
I think your wife could wear you down.
I would immediately text a three, you'd be like, dinner's on me.
Let's go.
Let's do it.
Half to four.
On Sunday.
Yeah.
So now with tidy.
Yeah, that's actually.
I think about all of her here.
Uh-oh.
Gidim comes to us and says he needs 15 grand for a surgery where he will die.
TSD agrees to give the money to get him for his life save saving surgery.
About a year later, I stumble upon a receipt on the poker on the table where we record of a hospital bill where the,
where the surgery was actually only 10 grand.
And he patted the bill.
And he paid it the bill and took my pocketed five grand.
I mean, isn't this basically what happened with his house fire?
What do you mean?
We raised money from it.
And he just fucking didn't use it for what we all raised it for?
Well, he's saving it.
Yeah.
He's saving it, though.
It's an interesting account.
He's saving the extra five grand.
This is more theft by deception then.
Not even an equate.
Well, I had assumed he was going to get in a parmesan.
But you're right, that's on me.
That was an assumption I made.
You can't.
Yeah, there was no strings that you had to use it to.
He could use that money however you wanted to.
But this is like, hey, I need it for this.
Okay.
And now we find out that.
So there's no gray area.
He definitely padded it to get an extra five grand.
Yeah.
Okay, so what's the question?
Do I, do I call him out and fire him or let it go?
You got to call him out and fire him?
Why?
Because he's not your friend.
He's not the person you thought he was.
Actually, that's exactly how I thought it would go down now, probably.
Really?
I'm like, yeah, I'm like, I mean, I would think he, I would just, I'm not going to say anything else.
Yeah, but, but like, he's our friend.
Right.
You don't rip off your friends.
So what did you just learn?
Like, he's not really a friend.
And he's prone to stealing.
So you never know, like, what else is going on?
Back to directing traffic, motherfucker.
Get your dance moves going.
Get your fucking dance moves going, Dickweed.
Yeah.
So I would come to you guys, reveal it, and then we fire him.
I would fire him.
Yeah.
I would as well, because he's just not trustworthy.
5,000?
Yeah, fucking fire me.
Yeah, it would blow my mind.
It was like, maybe like, you know, I said it was the bill, it was 14, 250, and I asked for 15.
Like, you know.
Yeah, that's, like, like, it would, get him would not be the person.
that I think he is if he did that to us.
So he's got to go.
However, we would have a lot of material.
That is true.
Okay, so unanimous across the point.
It's still a tie, right?
Yeah.
No, no.
Yeah.
No, I caught up to you guys.
Quote up to you guys.
She got the last one wrong.
And I got it right.
And he got it right.
Oh, okay.
It's a tie again.
You got one job over there, buddy.
And it's still a tie.
I could not.
I couldn't fire him.
We all got it wrong?
Really?
I don't know.
I couldn't fire him.
I would just be like,
I would justify in my head.
Would you tell us?
You'd have to tell.
You wouldn't tell me and Brian?
No.
Really?
I'd be like,
because I know you'd want to fire him then.
Oh.
Would you at least garnish his wages?
I don't know.
I don't know.
I don't know.
I know,
I know it would like it would blow up and be,
and be like the most awful thing ever.
So I'd be like,
I can't, yeah,
I couldn't,
I couldn't do it.
I would be like.
what's the number what's the number that he ripped off that you could do it
I would justify in my head that he used a 5,000 for other medical services like for rehab or something
I would not jump to the conclusion that he stole it you wouldn't ask him you would like confront him with it
really wow well that's why I asked you knew for a fact that he that he yeah yeah because that
my first thought was like all right there were there were things we don't know that the surgery was 10
grand, then the five grand is like,
I don't know what happened to it.
Then I would assume,
then I,
then I have enough faith in get them that I'd be like,
well,
obviously there was,
there was,
there was green canes to be bought.
That we,
that we don't,
like I have faith in.
They don't grow in trees.
Yeah,
I don't think Getta would rip us off.
That's why,
that's why I asked,
we know for a fact you rip us off.
I just know it would be an atom bomb to the,
to the,
to the,
to the everything.
Yeah.
And I can't,
I just like,
I can't fucking drop this atom bomb.
Oh.
Okay.
I don't know why.
I would have a hard time dropping the atom bomb.
It's something I don't understand it, but I...
I know.
So it's getting into time, so it's going to be...
Keeping us in the dark, you know?
Yeah. This guy.
Because if I found out that he did it and you didn't tell me,
you'd be mad at him.
I would quit the show. I'd be like, I'm leaving.
I'm like, I'm not, fuck, like, now I'm getting lied to.
Now I'm getting stolen from, lied to.
I'm like, what am I doing?
Like, well, that's how I'd feel.
Yeah, I, I...
Stick around for SpaceMoy.
Oh, right?
Space moment.
I said the show, Brian.
I said the show.
I think it would be too hard to recover overall, everything.
Like, you know, it would change everything so much that I'd be like, I can't be the impetus of this.
You weren't, though.
He wasn't.
You weren't.
Yeah, but I gave him of like, I know, I know.
But it would be tantamount to, like, changing it forever.
So what you're saying is you think at this point,
Gidim is indispensable to this show.
We can't make the show without him now.
Can I say Tom C. David?
I think the show means more.
I think the show means more to me than a show.
It's family now.
Sure, agree.
Oh, absolutely, yeah.
So that family aspect of like if like...
So everything breaks up after that?
Yeah.
So I would weigh it more like, like, do I want to blow up the family?
Do I want to blow up the family and like have that kind of like ugly, brutal?
Yeah, I get that.
You know, the hurt, the hurt feelings and the hurt that's going to be, it's going to be.
caused by me like bringing this to everybody's attention and I mean maybe maybe I find I figure out a way to like
you know somehow put put five grand at his expense back into us like in the jar out there I just put
five grand in that penny jar out there that we never touch notice it like hey man so I put five grand
here is like great I let's split it I get I get where you're coming from I get where you're coming
from but you don't give another opportunity to do that
Do you ever have let him borrow money again?
Yeah, you don't do that again, right?
No.
Yeah, okay.
No.
I get it.
I get what you're coming from.
It's reasonable.
All right.
Last one then.
So somebody could win here.
Gidim and Tom Milosheski have a final dragout, be all and all.
Who is the most intelligent person in Tessdytown?
A battle of the senses.
With the loser being banned.
for a year.
Like they can't participate
in any programming for a year.
That's like how we build this big
pay-per-view event.
Right.
Quantifications are on the table.
Get him wins.
But later
I discover evidence
showing get him cheated.
Do I keep it to myself
or reveal it?
Oh, I think you reveal it
because of the storyline
that it opens up.
The repercussions are not going to be like
get him's out, Tom.
in like the the storyline is the richest yeah that we've that we could mind ever
I think you got to reveal it yeah I think you reveal it but the repercussions aren't get him
leaves for a year I think it becomes whatever we turn it into I almost wish it happened
yeah I know right uh yeah I think you turn it in with something as well yeah yeah you got
Yeah, you got to reveal it.
But I know what that.
Because I doesn't mean I can't help you with Patreon stuff.
I know what that mental means to him, though.
I know like, like, I had a bad day.
Like that kind of embarrassing him and, you know, exposing him for the listeners' enjoyment.
I'm with you so far.
Am I that type of person that would expose like such?
Yes.
Obviously something that means a lot to him
That he would go through this much effort to do it
Without a doubt, yes
Yes
Because the option is what?
Fuck Tom?
Yeah, Tom's gone for a year then
But Tom has more to hang his hat on
Tom doesn't need to be the smartest man
His best sex
Yeah, Tom doesn't need it as much as I think
Gidham needs it
I think Gidham needs it a lot more
Than Tom ever will
Right, but there's just no benefit
to keeping it.
There's only benefits in revealing.
Well, the only person
that I'm benefiting by not telling it is get him.
Like,
I'm keeping his secret because I know
that he's going to face an onslaught
of shitty reactions from.
He faces that every week anyway.
What the fuck?
This is a lot.
This is a different beast.
This is a different beast, though.
Like, he is going to be.
He's so much fun, though.
It would be so much fun.
I got to agree with that.
I mean, I'm accused of cheating multiple times as it is.
I was going to say, yeah, it's not something new either.
You wouldn't be ashamed?
What?
That you got caught cheating that like in everybody.
I'd be ashamed I got caught.
But I wouldn't be ashamed for cheating.
I think I'm a little better than that.
I cheated all through high school and didn't get caught.
Yeah, I think you're reveal for the story.
And that's a unanimous again?
Yeah.
I probably would,
I definitely would reveal it and use it as fodder.
That's a whole Christmas episode.
We just figured out the Christmas episode.
Yeah.
Here's some call.
Forget him the cheater.
Wow.
So we all just tie.
So everybody won.
So everybody who all three you guys can email me at Kmuse 2 and I'll get something.
The original prize was.
going to be a lot better than what you're what you're getting now.
Sorry, Schultz.
Expect that sticker
in your mailbox soon.
Hostage due.
Yeah, COD.
That's it.
That's great game.
Great game.
Big, big props to Tom.
Nice work, Tom.
I don't think anybody's going to complain about this episode being
pre-recorded.
No, I don't think so.
Yeah, it seemed all right.
A couple of weeks ago when you weren't here at you,
when Nichelle came in.
Okay.
And we were talking about...
Another hottie shows up to the office.
Yeah.
Gone.
Yep.
And we were talking about manliness.
And I said that somebody online was talking about Chuck and saying that Chuck wasn't manly.
Hmm.
And we got into a whole conversation about if Chuck was an alpha or Chuck was Chuck manly and all this other shit.
What I didn't, what I realized later on because Chuck informed me was that the guy actually said,
I'm going to come and show Natalie what a real man is.
Oh.
Which is totally different.
Yeah.
That's a little different.
I thought it was funny when he's like, Chuck's not manly enough for Natalie.
That made me laugh.
Yeah.
But then when he's like, yeah, I'm going to come short what a real man is.
That was a little bit different.
That's a little different.
So yeah, I got to clear that up for everybody.
Oh, okay, okay.
Everybody was really worried about that.
Oh, all right.
In other words, nobody was working on.
Except for Chuck.
Yeah, we want Chuck to feel good about it.
Yeah, yeah.
You know, it was weird, too.
I thought it was a listener.
It was just some rando.
It was just some guy.
It was just some guy.
Well, how did he reach out?
How did he?
How did he?
It was like a Facebook post.
It was a Facebook group for a town that.
It was a political thing too, though.
So once politics get in there and you're not manly enough.
Then all of a sudden and everybody's got to.
I'm guessing Chuck would, Chuck was putting out some weak need positions.
No, no.
Some weak sister type shit.
He knows he's on Staten Island now, right?
He can't be fucking misrepresent.
Yeah.
The guy posted a meme and Chuck posted some fact.
So it wasn't even an opinion.
It was just a fact.
The only thing that makes me fucking question Chuck's mailing this is the fact that he's online responding to memes.
Yeah.
That's it.
But I'm a big Chuck fan.
I'm glad you clear that.
Yeah, but when people are wrong, you got to.
No, you don't.
Yeah, you don't.
No, you don't.
You got to pown them.
You do not.
You leave him alone.
You fucking let him go about their way, believe in whatever they want to leave.
That shall pown.
Tell them, Steve, Dave.
