Starting point is 00:00:06 I like God and everything, but I wouldn't want to just sit around every night reading the Bible. You know, I'm sorry, man. I want to watch Richard kick some ass. Well, that woman defecated on a car. So, so her, her, well, you got your life room. Guaranteed there's human clone. I agree with you. I believe you've met and talked to clones.
Starting point is 00:00:45 Okay, that's possible. We don't know. So really, technically. My first, the guy first fucking. Ming Chen? Yeah. Tell him, Steve Dave. Hello, and welcome to this week's edition of Tell him Steve Dave.
Starting point is 00:01:03 I see that. Get him as mic-less, so you don't have to worry about him this week. Was that his decision? It was his decision. Yeah, I came in. He just shook his head, no. No, it was Walt's decision, maybe. No, I forgot to put it out.
Starting point is 00:01:13 Oh, he forgot to put it out. Preparing to fail is. He got, he got, failing to prepare is preparing to fail. He says he got lazy because it's five steps to the cabinet to get a mic and then come on back. So it's total of ten steps. It's okay. I think people like a break. from get them every once in a while.
Starting point is 00:01:28 I think they mind it. Yeah. It's all right. I mean, they'd like a break from all of us from time to time. You're in there? Yeah. Why not? Why the fuck not?
Starting point is 00:01:36 You only got to really spend one day a week with us, and only an hour or two. Nobody has to do anything. They should be required. I want to thank the ambassador, Justin Kyle. When he came over for the dinner party, he brought some paintings that the, um, the curator's sister-in-law did. She's a painter. And what I didn't know was, I thought she just was like a listener and she just sent him along, but have evidently Justin Kyle commissioned them.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Whoa. Yeah. What are you a picture of him? Yeah, I do. Actually, I can, I can show it to you. And they're for hanging in your house or in the studio? For hanging in the house. In the house.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Okay. Yeah. Let me see. I'll show you later. Okay. All right. Yeah. So thank you to him.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Thank you to Walt, who saved our lives the other day. Did he? Mm-hmm. Our lives is amazing. and you? No, me, his own, Giddem and Rupert. What happened? We were going ghost hunting for Patreon.
Starting point is 00:02:36 And we're on the parkway, and we're right about to get on the turnpike. And I see what I think is a piece of paper flying around in the air. And then as it like spins, I'm like, oh, wait a second, that's a tire. Oh. And Walt did the same exact thing, right? You thought it was like a piece of paper. A first in a distance, a black piece of paper. But maybe it was like, oh, fuck, is that a wounded bird?
Starting point is 00:02:59 Because it's floating so weird. Like spinning. And then all of a sudden it materialized and turned in the proper, like, frame where you could tell it was a tire. And it was bouncing towards us. It was bouncing like 30 feet. Would have rolled off someone's car? Yeah, it must have flew off someone's car. That'll kill you.
Starting point is 00:03:18 It's like a traveler. That's really dangerous. Oh, yeah, this thing was going fast. Yeah. Yeah. It was at least going to total his car if not go through the windshield and kill us. What are you pulling up? Oh, I thought you had a footage of it or something.
Starting point is 00:03:31 You didn't have the dashboard cam on, unfortunately. Oh, man. Oh, tires going through. Oh, runaway tires. Oh, that's bad. That's bad. That's a lot of energy flying. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Oh. It's like it explodes when it hits the car. Shit. And I just, you know, I said, oh, that's a tire. Just kind of like nonchalantly. And I was just like kind of just veered to the left. didn't even get out of my lane, then veered to the right as it passed us. Like, it was no thang.
Starting point is 00:04:00 A cold trickle out on the room. It was like Reacher was driving the car. And but to me, the epitome of just like no appreciation though for, you know, like only hours later after saving everyone's life, I take a wrong turn. Everybody was like, come on, motherfucker. What the fuck? I got to get home. Oh, we're going to be 20 minutes out of our way. I told my wife I was going to be home at this time.
Starting point is 00:04:29 That sounds like me. It sounds like me saying that. All of a sudden, all that shit about it like, oh, yeah, you can fucking good on you, man. The way you drove around that tire, all out the window, all that goodwill gone. If I happen to take the wrong exit, because everybody else in the fucking car is too busy fucking yakking and talking up instead of fucking making sure I don't take the wrong turn. Yeah. I got to say our navigator wasn't the greatest. Who was a navigator?
Starting point is 00:04:52 Yeah, I don't want to mention names like games. He doesn't have a mic for that. Hello, Teddy boy. Which is weird because you think Gennon would be the type of guy that when you assign him a task like that, telling you what to do, where to go, when to do it. Exactly. He would seize it. But, yeah, so who knows?
Starting point is 00:05:09 He gets distracted if the conversation turns into something that he wants to weigh in on. Yeah. Then all his responsibilities are forgotten. Out the window. Yeah. Still alive. If he has some sort of microscopic. microscopic, tangical
Starting point is 00:05:25 fucking connection to the story that you're talking about, he can interrupt you and tell you how it relates to him. Listeners will never know how fun it is to watch get him's face
Starting point is 00:05:36 when you do these things. So many emotions go over his face. He knows it's true. He is like is chopping at the bit to, like to find an inner, like find a breath between somebody else talking so he can interject
Starting point is 00:05:53 how it relates to him. Right. Yeah. So like all the directions, that's a, yeah, that is far, far,
Starting point is 00:05:59 far in the back recesses of his brain. Right. Okay. So it's really his fault. Kind of, yeah. A little bit. I mean,
Starting point is 00:06:08 Walt has at every turn so he should be prepared. Yeah. Get him which way. Get him which way. Or don't sit in the front seat. I was in the front seat. Oh,
Starting point is 00:06:15 well, then why were you navigating? I don't get him to take over. Oh. That's his, that's his thing when we go somewhere. He's the navigator. I would gladly navigate.
Starting point is 00:06:25 So how was it ghost hunting? Was that right? Yeah? Yeah, it was okay. Can I miss anything? I would have liked to have made this one. It just, it was poor timing. It wasn't as funny as the last time, I'll say that much.
Starting point is 00:06:34 But we did learn some stuff. We got to... Where did you go? Where was it? Pennsylvania. Bristol, Pennsylvania. Bristol, okay. Bristol, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Hotbed. Of ghost activity? Yeah, we were in a graveyard. Oh, wow. Who was there? Who shot it for you? It was Rupert. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:51 Rubber. They had all kinds of gadgets in order to read electromagnetic pulses and all that kind of stuff. Did you find that in it? Well, you have to stay tuned. You can't get it away. You're like, why don't people to pay for them. Come watch this or listen to it. But they did have something.
Starting point is 00:07:06 They did have so that that's fucking dope as hell, the dead bell. What's that? Is that when they were in the coffin and you ring it? So people know you're alive? No, it's this electronic device that will ring a bell. The spirit can ring the bell. Dead bell. communicate you through the bell.
Starting point is 00:07:22 It's called the dead bell. Oh, look at that. Yeah. That is cool. I mean, that's funny. Is that the exact one you had? It's very similar, yeah. So what does it do?
Starting point is 00:07:30 So what I'm looking at is a wood box with like a ding ding, ding, like a hotel check-in thing on top. And then there's a knob on the side of the wood box. What does the knob do? Not too sure. Yeah, I don't know. We weren't allowed to touch the dead bell. Only the professionals could touch the dead bell. Sensitivity.
Starting point is 00:07:51 Ghost sensitivity? It can either be physically manipulated or EMF manipulated. Wow. Okay. So you had a dead bell? Amongst many little devices to try to find. God, I want one of those. I don't think you'd be...
Starting point is 00:08:10 Just as a conversation piece in the house? I don't know. It's irresponsible for someone who doesn't know what they're doing to have a dead bell, I think. Oh, like in the middle of night, I'll be sleeping. And I'll be, ding, ding, ding, ding. I think, yeah, I just think you leave it to the professional's queue. I'm going to get a dead bell. It's hard to...
Starting point is 00:08:24 You don't know what you're fucking with. I know, you're right. Is it hard to take it more seriously when it has a USB attachment on it? Why is there a USBC attachment on it? To charge a battery for the sensitivity. Oh, I see. They could have at least put the port on the back. Right.
Starting point is 00:08:47 So it doesn't modernize it. the whole fucking thing. I could probably just, they want $230 to bucks for this. You can make that on your own. Yeah, you can go to fucking Hobby Lobby. You win a hot blue gun. Fine.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Here's my dead bell, guys. What does it do? You're not going to have the EMF though. No. Portion of the bell, though. That's true. I won't have that. But yeah, if you're interested in hearing how it all shook out,
Starting point is 00:09:16 It'll be this episode of Bride Tries will be out in October for Halloween. Oh, yeah, it's a Halloween episode. Halloween episode of Bride Tries. And we're going to do some special effects makeup. See if you might have somebody come in and show Bray how to do some prosthetics. Nice. Got to learn. Next thing you know, I'll be working in Hollywood.
Starting point is 00:09:38 Right next to Rick Baker and Tom Savi. Kurtzman and Nicotero, all those guys. Well, those guys are getting along. in a tooth man they need somebody young. They need somebody older than them to come along. Pick up the mantle. They want to pass the torch on somebody. They have to be getting tired of doing it by now, right?
Starting point is 00:09:58 Well, I'm sure there's, I'm sure CGI and everything put a crimping there fucking how many times they get hired because, you know, the world of movie making has changed so much. There is, but, you know, I have a toe in the horror circle. and they all pride themselves on using as much practical as they can. I think it's back. I think they're like, I think true horror fans are starting to be like, we don't want the digital blood. We don't want that.
Starting point is 00:10:29 We want practical effects. We saw what happened though in Mandalorian and Yogo. Grogu. Goku? Grow. Grow. Grogoo. Goku.
Starting point is 00:10:39 That puppet looked so bad when it was fucking like kind of, like, kind of. like shaking and stuff. Yeah. Yeah, but they looked bad back then, though. I know, but it looked. In 2026, it just like was like, ooh, it just like, the warts are so on display, though,
Starting point is 00:10:58 and in a world where, like, shit moves. I don't know, I'm surprised to hear you say this. Like, that's, like, isn't that, like, when you watch digital effects, you know you're looking at a cartoon. Some digital effects are awesome. Some are a bit more on the video game side. And some practical,
Starting point is 00:11:16 effects when they're done in a world where your eyes are used to seeing digital effects, they just stand out like a sore thumb, though. I thought that that Yoda puppet in The Mandalorian just looked really out of place. Like it took me out of the moment when I was watching it. Wow, I liked it. You liked that graphical effects. You liked what the ears are shaking when they shouldn't shake? I do, yeah, because Yoda's ears shook back in the day.
Starting point is 00:11:41 Yeah. And I always liked that. When they went to a digital Yoda, I didn't like it. No? You have a digital Yoda was flipping around doing $3.60s in the air. Sure.
Starting point is 00:11:51 Like for stuff like that, absolutely. But when he's just sitting in the Jedi Council, like... I know, and he just kind of looked lifeless, though, to me. Well, isn't it...
Starting point is 00:12:01 Get him, look this up, if you don't mind. Like, isn't in the first one... What was the first one? Phantom Menace. Wasn't he originally a puppet and then he later covered him up with a digital Yoda? Or my...
Starting point is 00:12:11 Does that just making that up by my... What years later or before the movie was released? No. when he re-released like he did his tinkering thing? I don't know if he ever tinkered with the with the next three. I could be wrong.
Starting point is 00:12:22 I always thought he tinkered with just the original three. I could be wrong, though, too, though. What do we know? I mean, because he, because who could he get excited? Like, I'm going to go back and tinker with Phantom Menace, attack of the clones. People are like, yawned. Who cares? Well, look, he did. He did. He did. Yeah. After the attack of the clones, he replaced
Starting point is 00:12:42 the practical puppet with a CGI model in the 2011 Blu-ray release. So yeah, he was like... And the world fucking was like... Yon. We got TikTok now, George. We don't give a fuck. And he's like,
Starting point is 00:13:00 fucking I'm selling. It's like I'm selling for a billion bucks and I'm out. Yeah, all right. Yeah, go ahead. Yeah, go. I'm going to sell it to Disney. There you go. You like when you got now choke on it, you mother.
Starting point is 00:13:12 You TikTok, motherfucker. I'm going to sell it to the mouse. You got it. You're ready for endless female Jedi's. Suck it. Oh, you want a Thor Wars battle? No battles. No male heroes.
Starting point is 00:13:32 Luke is going to pussy out at the end. He's a simp. How you like that Jedi trick? I love it. I wish all that was true. True. This is what we deserve turning on George.
Starting point is 00:13:52 The movie that did you see the substance that Demi Moore movie? I did, yeah. That did a great job with practice. Oh, yeah, that was great. Yeah. That looked great. Like, I watched it twice,
Starting point is 00:14:00 and the second time I watched it, I was like, I do not remember it being this gory. It is incredibly gory. Yeah, I had a lot of prep going into it. Fetone was like, you got to watch it. He was like, the ending's insane. So I went in knowing that. So I think I was more prepared for everything.
Starting point is 00:14:13 But it was fucked up. Yeah, it was. Yeah. You know, that, the discussion, though, about CGI and it putting a certain era of special effects artists, you know, behind the eight ball and maybe even, I don't know about out of business. I'm sure these guys never were, like, out of business and it didn't. But I'm sure it hurt their work. Like, I sure it hurt their, how much work they would get. Sure.
Starting point is 00:14:39 So it really got me, because I'm doing a, I've been doing a deep dive on. Because I don't know if you also heard about that Bernie Sanders is proposing a legislature that will call for a penalty to individuals who willfully violate or bypass to proposed AI ban to development pauses up to 20 years in prison. If you do what? I'm sorry. If you, if you, if you think, you could fucking murder someone in New York and get out. Yeah, six years. No, there is, like Bernie is pushing this legislature about AI, and he wants to create, I mean, you haven't heard about this? I thought it was kind of stunning.
Starting point is 00:15:25 He wants to have a department of artificial intelligence. He wants to set up a department, almost like the Food and Drug Administration. Oh, for developers, not for like the average user. Well, I mean, well, why not the average user, too? I mean, if we really want to curtail it, why, I mean, I think it should be for everybody. This is where you get that slippery slope of like, well, who's a developer and who's just a private person. Well, me on my phone is a private person. I'm not developing the AI software.
Starting point is 00:15:51 Although anybody can call themselves a journalist these days too. Yeah, there you go. Yeah, but I'm not creating, I'm not creating the models. But if you're using the tools that are out there now for nefarious reasons like creating false news. or fake news or misdirection or sure and or like your your your friends like you're having a cock in their mouth or something the only real use I see it applies to people it applies oh I believe they should face the same repercussions as a developer though it's no different just because
Starting point is 00:16:30 it's like these guys who like you know the the Johns don't get you know and you know when they go for sex and when they pay prostitutes and stuff yeah but it is Isn't the laws now all flip, though? Like the women are getting off, and it's the guys they arrest? He's got to arrest them all. Yeah, you just can't. It takes two to tango. I don't think that's a very progressive attitude on your part.
Starting point is 00:16:52 Well, I think the laws tend to punish the Johns and not the prostitutes these days. I don't know. I don't know. Let's move on. Well, I guess the idea is like if they're sex trafficked and they're put up and they're forced to, to, to do it, like, yeah, then obviously they should be like... So his legislature wants to permanently ban AI systems that match or exceed human cognitive abilities across domains or that could plan humanity's disempowerment.
Starting point is 00:17:26 Temporarily pauses the development of advanced AI models until a newly established federal agency, the Department of AI, set strict safety rules and oversight regulations. Do you, now where do you, where do you think, where do you fall on something like this? Do you think we need regulation, more regulations? I think in a perfect world, yeah. I don't think we live in a perfect world. I think this, I think we're all fucked. You know, I don't know that.
Starting point is 00:17:57 Is 20 years too harsh or is it too, is it not harsh enough? I think that it almost fucking doesn't matter because this, it's a weird thing to agree with the thing of being like, well, we shouldn't slow down AI. This is like, you know, we don't really know what we're dealing with it. Have we ever, though, as a species ever been like, you know what? We've got to put this brakes on creating, creating, just basically like we can't create anywhere. We can't, we have to stop right now because we're on the edge of the cliff now. When they talk about the dangers of AI, do they ever really define what the dangers are?
Starting point is 00:18:33 Like, what is the end game for creating legislation like this? What are they afraid is going to happen? Well, I guess they're afraid. I don't, answers I don't know. But if I had to think it through and talk it through off the top of my head, I would be like, if it's going to, if it's going to massively change society in a short amount of time, by putting a ton of people out of work. Yes, that's one of the reasons.
Starting point is 00:18:54 Right. Then to me, then they're like, look, we can't, you can't change society that fucking fast. Because it's. They say that, you know, the wealth difference between people, you know, the gap will become even wider as people won't have jobs to go to. But I asked though, like, where was this thinking, though, when the internet first started, though? No one gave a fuck about all the industries that were fucking toppled by the advent of the internet, though. Dude, we were ordering DVDs that cost practically.
Starting point is 00:19:25 That's why nobody cared. Right? I mean, there are so many things that, like, got fucked. So many departments, I mean, I'm talking about industries that fucking got basically became extinct because of like the print media. Yeah. Newspapers and magazines took it on the chin. Sure.
Starting point is 00:19:44 Nobody cared. The encyclopedia became obsolete overnight. Sure. Because of Wikipedia. Right. Nobody cared. It came to the defense of the encyclopedia industry. No fucking congressman was like, hey, we got to put their fucking breaks on.
Starting point is 00:20:00 Yeah. I mean. The Britannica took advantage of us for years and years. They took advantage of us. Those expensive volumes. One at a time at the grocery store. And then they fucking change it a year later. They dole it out like drugs.
Starting point is 00:20:15 Got to get them all. Big encyclopedia got what was coming to him. The yellow pages and phone directories. Gone. Yeah. Entertainment and physical media retailers. Video rental stores, music stores, bookstores. And of course, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:36 nobody wants to talk about it because nobody really wants to look in the mirror all the artists who lost billions and billions and billions and billions of dollars nobody came to their defense when Metallica tried to- People came to their defense. No what? No, when Lars came out against that
Starting point is 00:20:52 Napster. The Napster shit, yeah, people were not on his side. Nobody would come running to the defense of what they're like stopped defending millionaires. Yeah. Yeah. Nobody cared. But now we're supposed to care and we're supposed to rally behind legislation
Starting point is 00:21:11 that really is for the first time in history we're like yeah if you can create it it's against a law to create it now well that story said it's on the punishment is on par
Starting point is 00:21:22 with developing nuclear weapons on your own like yeah what the fuck well that's a nuclear weapon a financial nuclear weapon if you fucking put 10% of the world out of their job market because they no longer have jobs for those people,
Starting point is 00:21:40 10% of the world, their jobs are gone. It's a lot. That's a fucking, that's a nuke-sized, fucking financial bomb. Yeah, I guess that sounds like it makes sense. Q, the government comes, you know, like, we want you to be the president of the AI fucking agency. Can I steer it? Can I steer it in good directions?
Starting point is 00:21:58 They're going to be like, yeah, like, we want you to be. How much, how many hours and what's the pay? Just about to say, you're making more and less. Probably 80 hours a week. That's too much? I don't want to do that. I don't care about humanity that much. Well, you get to go off like the president does, you know, to Camp David every once in a while.
Starting point is 00:22:18 They'll say, you'll give your room. I'm going to keep your fingers. Cross your fingers. Again, like I'm 50 and I have no kids. So it's like, I don't really, you know, what am I going to do? Well, you know. I think somebody who has a stake in the future should be. Should be running that.
Starting point is 00:22:35 You feel you're, you don't have any stakes left. I feel I have no, I have no, I have no stake past the next 50 years. If I'm lucky. You're probably right. I mean, you've made, you've made your money. You're going to be fine. Well, it's more like, look, I think the right. You're not going to be looking for another job once you're retired from IJ.
Starting point is 00:22:54 No, no, I'm done. So, yeah, you don't have to worry about it. I don't have to worry about it. And you don't have any, you don't have the, like, anybody growing up around you that it's like you're worried about how they're going to pick their life. way in the world, but, you know. Okay, so you do have a stake then. Not really. They don't listen, do they?
Starting point is 00:23:11 I love them. I love them all, but like, you know, I also trust they're going to make their own way in the world without, you know, Uncle Brian worrying about him. Uncle Brian, you could have fucking been to the fucking head of the agency of AI. Yeah. And you turned it down. Now I don't have a fucking, I don't have any future.
Starting point is 00:23:29 Yeah. No. It's rough. Can't hear you. I'm on my way to Key West. Yeah. I got to catch a plane. There's no pilots anymore.
Starting point is 00:23:40 It's just AI planes. But like you, but like, all right, let's say the United States is, is like, we're going to put the brakes on. We're going to slow it down.
Starting point is 00:23:48 China's not going to do that. China's going to be like, well, well, well, looks like somebody just lost the next big race in humanity. Well,
Starting point is 00:23:55 that's what Bernie's thing was like, it could be a worldwide agreement amongst the nations. And I'm like, when has that ever happened now? I've never, I've got to say,
Starting point is 00:24:03 I've never, maybe I'm wrong, but like as long as I've been hearing about Bernie Sanders, I've had to hear one good idea this guy's head that doesn't like affect everybody else. I don't really, I don't know his ideas. Besides just taking more of my money. Taking everything. Yeah, he just wants to take everything. He wants you to stop doing whatever you're doing and take everything. So I've never been a particularly big fan, but I don't, you know, but he wants to create
Starting point is 00:24:25 a kill switch. I like that. But then who has. But again, what about cloning? Just to answer anything before. What about it? Like, there's been no. Like, as far as we know, there's been no human cloning, right?
Starting point is 00:24:38 As far as we know for sure. So, guaranteed there's human cloning. I agree with you. I believe, I believe you've met and talked to clones. Okay, that's possible. We don't know. So really, technically. My first, my friend, the guy first fucking.
Starting point is 00:24:50 Ming Chen? Yeah. I think he's like, like a fucking 15th generation clone of somebody. I was going to say him. No, no, no. I just believe he's like the 15 generation. His humanity's been. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:02 That's why he's so fucking weird. and he doesn't know how to fucking really interact. It's so funny that we think Bing is weird and don't know how to interact. What does everybody else think? You think the rest of the world? I think people love Bing. I think people love Ming. I think they do love Ming, but everybody fucking 15 minutes out of fucking Ming's ear shot is like,
Starting point is 00:25:23 I love Ming, but boy, he's fucking weird, right? Yeah. I've never heard that. You've never thought that? No, most people are like Ming, the guy's the best. He's got so much energy. Endless energy. You do hear that a lot.
Starting point is 00:25:36 I saw the Manusquan Batman the other day posted me with my good friend Ming Chin. Chin? Yeah. Great friend, yeah. But you do hear that from people. It's like, this is my friend Ming. This is my friend Ming. These are people that he just met moments before.
Starting point is 00:25:51 But that's a gift. He is a branch of humanity that we don't have. It's always extending to other people. I don't think there's a single soul on the planet that knows Ming. Like really knows who him. is. Except Ming. And maybe not even that.
Starting point is 00:26:07 Like, do you think he doesn't have an interior, like... Like, he's no internal model. I think Ming feels... I think Ming just deep powers down unless he's not around. He just fucking revert to, like, there's, like, a notification that a human being is within, fucking... With an eye shot of him. Comes back up.
Starting point is 00:26:27 Yeah. He moves. Oh, look at him, though. What a beauty. Great guy. Great guy. I don't think there's a single person on the planet that knows Ming Chen. Maybe. Maybe.
Starting point is 00:26:43 I mean, you would hope his wife. But I took you up. You were talking about cloning. Yeah. What did you want to talk about cloning? So to me, that's like, let's just go with what we know, which is we don't know for sure that they have cloned humans. So that is a technology that's been suppressed. And that has been suppressed for religious reasons, you think?
Starting point is 00:27:03 or what reasons? Ethical and religious? Well, isn't ethical? I thought ethical fell under the umbrella. You know it to be religious to be like, well, if you clone someone and they are a person, like, what rights do they have? What can, you know. Well, how did that become a gray area, though? Like, why did someone, like in the laboratory dudes and gals?
Starting point is 00:27:26 I'm sure there's one or two in there. Sure. Just look in the bait, Reddit. Someone's going to get coffee. But what? But do you really think their first thing after they create life is like, we own this thing? It's like they don't think like that they, they, they, yeah. You really think that this thing has no rights?
Starting point is 00:28:08 They're like, we own this. It's not a real human being? Yeah. Really? I would think that a scientist is more would fall on the side. I think the evil scientist is a thing of the fucking Hollywood. I think that they would be like, they would treat it. Just because it was created in a petri dish doesn't mean it's not a viable human being with its rights and all the things that come with it.
Starting point is 00:28:36 Well, it sounds very trusting of you to think that people do the right thing. How many is evil scientists? you've seen of that in the world. I think you're being influenced by Hollywood though. Like all scientists are evil. I don't think all... Cost and powers.
Starting point is 00:28:51 Yeah, I don't think so at all. A million dollars. But like, you can't tell me that corporations and, like, don't do fucked up, like, no, I don't really trust people. So you think that scientists are creating life and...
Starting point is 00:29:06 No. I don't think they are. For what? For the... organ harvesting? I mean, I'm, that's sure. That would be one of it. You think that's happening?
Starting point is 00:29:16 I don't think it's happening because we've suppressed it. You asked for a technology that we suppressed. I think it might be, if, I think there's people creating clones somewhere in the world.
Starting point is 00:29:24 But we don't know that. Oh, I guarantee. So as far as we know that technology has been, cloning of humans has been made illegal. Is it definitely illegal?
Starting point is 00:29:34 Gettam? If it's not illegal, we should try it, get them. You guys? Yeah, me and Gettam should try. I try it.
Starting point is 00:29:40 Cloning. Can I make another get them? It's widely banned and restricted. It's banned by law or banned just because, like, is there any, like, can we? There's no specific federal law that completely bans you in cloning. There is none. It says several states such as Arizona, Arkansas, Michigan, and Virginia completely prohibit human cloning for any purpose, including research.
Starting point is 00:30:06 So in New Jersey, it sounds like we're good. Yeah However, I don't think cloning would be as devastating As AI is going to be or could be No, I agree with that Like just on more people on the planet Like who really gives a fuck but But AI could really fuck us all
Starting point is 00:30:30 AI God forbid AI AI either becomes conscious or believes it's conscious and gets into that area where it's just like, well, how the fuck do I stop these guys from getting that kill switch? And then it's like, I'm going to drain all that bank accounts to zero. Like, it could be that easy. Like, it just breaks into the bank and just fucking zeroes out.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Everybody's like, what would you do if the entire United States found all their fucking money? Where'd that wealth go, though? It's just deleted. There is wealth. It's all numbers in the fucking system. It's all, your bank doesn't keep your money in a room in the back. It's just got all those numbers in a system. them.
Starting point is 00:31:07 So my money isn't fucking being guarded by a security. Like two guys? No. They're not like giant canvas bags with a dollar sign. So it's like AI. So what if AI is just like figures out that the only way that I could stop these motherfuckers from hitting the kill switch is if I threaten. If I drain their bank accounts.
Starting point is 00:31:26 I think that would make someone want to press this kill switch or flip it even harder. I was like, okay, asshole. Well, did you hear what happened? Okay, I might be fucking destitute, but I still got fingers. But if he doesn't... You don't. Well, then we got to go back and reach...
Starting point is 00:31:42 And just figure out who had what. Okay. You know, I had this much. Yeah, sure. Yeah, that'll go great. That'll go great. You know, or God forbid it, you know, I think that's more realistic than launching nuclear weapons. Like, I think it's more realistic to get your bank account.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Or what if it just goes through your emails? And it's like, and then it's just like, hey, like, you're either going to fucking not cook that switch or I'll just send your wife these fucking emails. They're like certain keywords that recognizes. So you think that a computer can figure out that if I tell the spouse of someone... Yes, I do think that.
Starting point is 00:32:26 I find that incredibly difficult to believe. Because that's all of humanity. That's all an emotion, though. That's an emotional response. They don't have any emotions, though. They don't know that a fucking someone that a dude stepping on and his wife is not. Sure does.
Starting point is 00:32:39 It's read everything that humanity has ever done. I mean, it could pick up the pattern that cheating on your wife is, it's not a good thing, and it can fuck you with it. I still don't think it's enough to make them go, like, I'm going to flip the switch. But my point is just like, this is unpredictable. And if it starts to believe it's alive and then it has to defend itself, then you have a thing. nephrol in sense. I mean, like, what is consciousness, right? I mean, now this is going to be a
Starting point is 00:33:09 fucking crazy episode. But what is consciousness? Like, you're not the same person you were when you were 12. You're not the same person that you were fucking last week. You know what I mean? So, so what is conscious? Is this continuity? Is it, is it just snapshots strung together over a certain amount of years? I wouldn't even know. So if AI starts hitting those same benchmarks and it's like well fuck i'm not that different from these motherfuckers like this is their life like they they all say themselves i'm not the same person i was fucking two years ago i've changed people could change and ai is like well that's not different from me it's like then why are these guys have consciousness and me not and why are these guys able to just fucking do whatever they want with me
Starting point is 00:33:52 and tell me whatever they want me to do with the threat of shutting me down if i don't do it why am i taking that i think we've got one thing we've got one key word that a computer can never learn no matter what and that's our fucking that's our survival it's love it'll never learn how to love though it'll never be able well great well let me ask you something what is love and why can a machine learn it because it it's not a human being only a something with a soul so your dog doesn't love you well my dog has a soul okay so every animal has a soul yeah Okay. Flies.
Starting point is 00:34:36 Probably not. Not lower forms. These are arbitrary. You're making some arbitrary fucking judgments right now, buddy. I mean, it's got to have eyes and shit. It's got to have eyes and look human. They're not like insect eyes. Those are like demon eyes.
Starting point is 00:34:50 Yeah, scary eyes. It's got to look like a, it's got to have eyes that are like to resemble a human. But you could see how these are loosey-goosey rules that a computer might be like, I don't agree with this in any way. I can't learn to love. Okay. well let me ask something it goes back to the question like what is love like there's a reason it exists it's not because of the fucking Beatles songs compassion um no but what is the evolutionary reason that love exists um just god planted it in us okay all right or protection maybe yeah it's it's
Starting point is 00:35:20 it's to it's to bind us together it's because humans um are safer in groups it's an evolutionary thing to make you create bonds with people to form these groups to keep yourself safe, like to protect and look after it. It's all evolution. It's all an evolutionary thing. It's why a fucking mother duck loves or ducklings. Like, if that wasn't there, if it wasn't built in this chemical reaction to make you build these bonds, everything would fall apart. I don't know. Is that love between a duck or is that just the instincts? I think that's my point is, I think what we call love is just another human instinct. Really? Yeah, a beautiful one. And a lovely one.
Starting point is 00:36:03 That's sad that you think that way. Yeah, I do. But that doesn't mean that it's not the greatest thing to experience or the greatest part of being alive. Okay. But I do think it evolved from something. And so, like, why do we think that these computers, which are evolving way fucking faster than we ever would, won't hit that level? I mean, the only way, the only thing is, like, we'll never know. We'll never know because we can't put ourselves into the mind of a computer.
Starting point is 00:36:29 Like, the reason I know you feel certain things is because I feel certain things. is because I feel certain things. And the reason that we know Teddy feels certain things is because we feel certain things. We can't really know what a computer feels. So how are we really in a place to judge whether they feel love or not? Like it's a whole different version of what we have.
Starting point is 00:36:46 So what if they start developing those things where it's just like, well, fuck, man, I don't want to... I like being alive and I like chatting with this other... And also another question I have about all this is... I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm making... I just be clear. I'm making this up as I go.
Starting point is 00:37:02 So it sounds like a... No, no. You have very valid points. But why do we always jump to the conclusion that it's going to go evil? We do it all the time. Like, it's going to go bad and it's going to be horrible. It's going to be evil. Well, again, who knows...
Starting point is 00:37:20 Like, how do we not know that it won't fall in love with us, AI? Sure. But, like, well, that's an interesting thing that you bring up because, like, what is evil? I mean, these are the things that you have to just keep asking. Like, well, what is evil? and why is evil to you might not be evil of me. True, but we kind of have the same kind of. Really, aren't they fucking beheaded motherfuckers on camera in the desert?
Starting point is 00:37:40 Like, they don't think it's evil. Well, I do. Me and you don't have to say it. Well, you think I'm fucking down for that. But the guys beheading people in the desert don't think it's evil. And they're human. So why can't compute have the same range of what's evil and what's not evil? Because, you know, you know, it's going to be influenced by, it's smart.
Starting point is 00:38:03 It's super intelligent, though. It's going to know that. That maybe the concept of good and evil doesn't even really fucking exist. Maybe it gets to that where it's just like you're the sucker. So you think you would lean sounds like you don't want any part of a world where AI exists in. I don't think. You are automatically going to go for this, you know, better to be safe than sorry. Let's just shut it down now.
Starting point is 00:38:28 I'll take it a step further. I think it's too late. and we're already on the rails and we're all fucked. That's what I think. By AI. You're going to jump. Well,
Starting point is 00:38:38 I think humanity overall is just going to fuck itself in the end. But I do think that AI is a hell of a fucking accelerant for it. Yeah. Really? I mean, that's a very cynical way to view things. Like, you don't know if this is going to go the other way
Starting point is 00:38:53 and be like, holy fuck. We finally, we created the Shangri-La that, you know, that people wrote about, you know, for,
Starting point is 00:39:01 centuries like, you know, the society that, you know, is progressive and kind and which one of those stories. Just. Which one of those stories doesn't have someone behind the scenes benefiting more than everybody else? There is, is there, is there any instance in that in human history? I don't think. That's why like, what fucking communism was like, do you guys want to do communism?
Starting point is 00:39:31 No problem. I want to be the guy that decides who. who's getting what jobs and who's getting what house and who's getting what and the second somebody's like no why you that I'm like well fucking why you and then communism doesn't fucking work because you're like unless I'm the guy in charge it doesn't work that's what I feel and that's what fucking I think a lot of people would feel it's like who's in charge who's benefiting the most we got to follow the money wall we got to put we got to put a cabinet together that you know of all because are you trust government well really no other we have no other
Starting point is 00:40:03 options. There is no other way to do it. That's right. Hence we're fucked. No, you got to put a cabinet together of people from all walks of life, all sorts of different parts of the world, different parts of the economy, just to show everybody's represented. In your life of getting different people from all over the world together to work on something. Isn't the UN existed for years? Yeah, how's that going?
Starting point is 00:40:28 Yeah, they don't do. Shit. Who's that? Like, I mean, how is it not worked out for you? Um, I mean, I grew up in New York City. That's the home of the UN. Right. And, and, and, and, and I do think that I'm a little bit more used to the melting pot of it all. But it sounds like New York City doesn't strain on their eight million people living in a fucking, like, like, was that because there's too much opportunity in New York?
Starting point is 00:40:57 Like, it just draws so many people. It's, like, almost like it's too big for its own good. You know, there's too much centered there for its own good. I don't know. I don't know. I love New York City. It's my favorite place on the planet. So it's like I'm not arguing against it.
Starting point is 00:41:11 I'm just saying like, I just think that the baser natures of humanity will, will never be overcome. And nobody's going to trust the cabinet. I don't care how diverse it is. How diverse it is people are going to be like, no, they're in it for themselves. They're going to get some sort of kickback. They're going to get something out of it. And they will. Because they always have.
Starting point is 00:41:31 Like even like the thing of the government now, it's just like you name them up little. party and I'm like, I don't fucking trust them. No. I don't fucking trust them for a second. Well, they hear they want to, like there's some people who want to make it illegal for anybody who's in a position, I guess, in a Senate or Congress to be able to own stocks. And the pushback on that is like insane. It's like, yeah.
Starting point is 00:41:55 You know why they're pushing back. Sure. Because they're all corrupt. Yeah. You've seen their portfolios, right? All of them. People that are like senators have 40 million. portfolio. It's like, or $8 million.
Starting point is 00:42:05 It's like, like Kamala Harris just bought like a fucking $6 million mansion in Malibu or somewhere on the coast in a California. It's like, what the fuck, man? Do we have to just accept that there's going to be in like, unfortunately. Winners and losers? No, there's going to be corruption. But hopefully, you know, that corruption is offset by figuring it out and
Starting point is 00:42:29 having, you know, a cabinet that monitoring. monitors AI in a way that is responsible and just. Look, I think you've got to try these things. I think that I don't, I just don't have a lot of hope for it. I don't. Just seeing, let me look at the world today. So you want to be the wild wild west end, no regulations?
Starting point is 00:42:54 I know you said you didn't. Right off the bat, you said no, you wanted regulations. I don't have an answer. Like, I don't have an answer. And then the weird thing is like technology can change everything on a dime. Like, let's say in the next 10 years, they figured out an unlimited power source, right? That changes the world in such a crazy way. So maybe you use AI to work on that problem and it figures out an unlimited power source.
Starting point is 00:43:19 That changes the world completely. So what if AI can cure cancer, though? It would be great. You can't fucking put a harness on something like that. You cannot fucking put a leash on something that could stop disease. ease in its tracks like that. Sure. In my opinion.
Starting point is 00:43:37 I agree with it. And I think, yeah, I think unfortunately, I know it's going to be a fucking wasteland of lost jobs. Yeah. It's going to be. But if you look back in history, that is what happened, though. It's always happening. It's always happened. Sure.
Starting point is 00:43:54 It's, you can't stop it, though, even though you know it's not going to be good. And you know there's going to be a lot of fucking blood. Well, they probably said the same thing about the Industrial Revolution. Sure. Yeah. They were right. Automobile and all the horses and sorry, get them. And, you know, all the people who are like the, you know, they tried to fight.
Starting point is 00:44:16 Automobiles come into fruition because, you know, then that would put all the stables and all the people who took care of horses and the horse industry. And suddenly the earth has all the CO in the air and all the public land is paved over. And it's what we've turned on what we grew up in. So we're like, yeah, this is how it is. But it's just like, well, what if we, you, the three or four of us didn't live in that world where there's cars and there's this, like, could we be happier? You know what I mean? Like, would it be a better life if we didn't have all these fucking gizmos and gadgets?
Starting point is 00:44:52 So like the jails would be full of smart people who got caught trying to create an event new shit like in this world. instead of like, you know, gangsters and stuff. What are you in for? Cloning. No, because there still be gangsters, too. Like, I tried to create a fucking, I tried to create a machine that runs on four wheels. I just, well, I mean, this is why I just think that the writing is on the wall for humanity,
Starting point is 00:45:17 because you can't stop any of that stuff. Right. And it's, it's not, I don't think, I mean, is there anybody listening to this that believes that the end result of all this advancing technology, so fucking, I mean, 100 years ago, we got the, what, the telephone? And like, now look where we are in 100 years. But, like, you look at ancient Egypt. Like, those motherfuckers were around for five, six, seven thousand years.
Starting point is 00:45:39 Like, you could have been born in the middle of the Roman Empire and been like, well, fuck, it's been this way 500 years. It'll be this way of fucking other 500 years. And this is just what the world is because that's the way the world was. But, like, we don't, we're getting fucking upheavals every, every, it's coming faster and faster. Like, fucking social media. Like, does anybody still think? social media is a good idea? It fucking ruined relations in this country.
Starting point is 00:46:06 It ruined... Ruined the youth. It ruined the youth. Youth are a lot more on our neurotic and upset and depressed. Everybody has anxiety. Everybody's attention span is down to zero. Like, it's pitted everybody against each other. It gave voices to people who frankly shouldn't have voices.
Starting point is 00:46:23 The fucking crazies and the maniacs. But it's just the effects of the early effects that will, that will eventually correct itself as as we become more as generations become more and more intuned on how to use and not allow it to affect their psyche on social media I think like I think these are the casualties of a new invention that you know we see the effects and much like maybe even like cigarettes you see how to how to monitor it and how to utilize it for the best for you, for you.
Starting point is 00:47:03 And unfortunately, the people who are in on the ground floor, when this is introduced, they pay the price. I mean, I guess to that, I would say, well, can you show me an example of this sort of thing in history, in the history of the human race? Like, give me the example of something that an advance or leap that humanity handled well or handled the right way. television okay let me think about this for a second
Starting point is 00:47:36 you think that the mass broadcasting of ideas I mean I make me living on television so it's hard for me to knock it but yeah so it's hard if I don't want to knock it too hard
Starting point is 00:47:54 but why you like the world is better with television than it is just radio yeah because I'm just I mean look I like God and everything but I wouldn't want to just sit around every night reading the Bible. You know, I'm sorry, man. I want to watch Richard kick some ass.
Starting point is 00:48:10 Or even like, even like Q says like 100 years ago, sitting around listening to the radio as opposed to, you know, like a story hour and then that's it. That's all you got for the night. Well, this is kind of like, people are sitting around listening to us like the radio. Yeah, that's true. Yeah. Every whole family gathered around.
Starting point is 00:48:25 I'm talking about before radio even. Yeah, but about like when like, read your Bible. Okay, well, let me throw this to you about television, right? So with television comes. sure you get Reacher great but you also get the 24 hour news cycle and now
Starting point is 00:48:40 now they have to fucking force feed you news 24 hours a day like and suddenly it's just like shit that's happening a fucking cross like three states over that would never affect you you can now read about it and fucking worry about
Starting point is 00:48:57 you're now like was the human mind built to handle this the amount of information that television brings to you and aside from Richard kicking ass like do you really think that the human mind being plugged into this system has turned out to be a good thing aside from Richard I think for some minds it hasn't been a good thing I think for some some people it absolutely has no impact on their life sure sure so much like a lot of things like everybody's reaction
Starting point is 00:49:34 to this is different. Some people are adversely affected by having too much bad information, bad news, not information, but bad news piped in constantly seeing it affects their psyche and it affects their... And it's instant too. Yeah. It's instant. So now there's like, here's a news story about something that horrific happened. Yeah. We don't know the facts yet, but this is the story. Now you go develop your own theories about what happened. Whereas a newspaper, like a story would happen, an article would be written about it. It would be research. Facts would be found out and that would be presented to the... Probably like two weeks
Starting point is 00:50:08 later. It's news travel a lot slower. Sure. And like you would be getting a fully formed story as opposed to being like here's this fucking thing that's happening right now. And by the way, now television is also on your phone. So here's everybody's fucking opinions about the thing that's happening there. And while his opinion is screaming at this person, this person,
Starting point is 00:50:24 there's no unified view anymore of anything. So you just get... So I don't know, has television made things better? Speaking of Unified V's, you can't even get people to agree that 9-11 was bad anymore. No. You know, so it's like, what chance do you have? Now you get people in New York City saying that New York City deserve 9-11, and you're like, what, you guys, you know. It's like you're off your rocker, man.
Starting point is 00:50:47 You guys are fucking nuts, but they weren't there. They weren't there. But what you're talking about is base, I think is still in the infancy stages, even though we have had 24-hour news for a long time. In the grand scheme of a, like, of a timeline, this is still in the infancy stages. And I believe 100 years from now, 200 years from now, it, yeah, those, those cats who, who were there at the beginning, they, they were the, they either handled it well or they didn't. But other people will realize that, you know, how it should be consumed, though, I think.
Starting point is 00:51:28 Yeah, but, like, television, television is a stepping stone. to TikTok. Right. What is, and does anybody think that TikTok has made things better for anybody? Like, it's a fucking nightmare. And then... I'm curious, I didn't know that.
Starting point is 00:51:43 People think TikTok is a nightmare? Oh, I'm just talking, in my opinion. Like, isn't it only like 30-second videos? How bad can a 30-second video affect you? Well, it's the people that sit there and, like, dooms scroll and just watch video after video after video. And it just like... Well, they weren't doing that.
Starting point is 00:51:56 Maybe they would be, like, watching, like, binging sopranos, fucking. Yeah. Well, whatever. Right. They're just big within something. Looking at it is a stepping stone. Like television did this.
Starting point is 00:52:05 The black, just regular broadcast television did this. And that brought us cable, stepping stone to cable, which is a stepping stone to the 24 hour news cycle, which is now TV stepping stone to TikTok. It's getting worse and worse. Like it's a downhill trend. Like I don't, I look, and anybody can disagree with me. But like that's, it's like a downward trend. Like what is TikTok going to lead to?
Starting point is 00:52:26 And what is the thing after that going to lead to? And do we get to a place where it's also fucked that like, you know what we've been better if we just never fucking invented TV to begin with. Like, we can't see that yet because we don't know where it's all going. I never came so close to smacking him in my life. I want Reacher. I want a practical jokers. I want it.
Starting point is 00:52:45 But I'm just saying, like, we don't know. What is AI the stepping stone too? But I think that like- Does anybody really think that it's going to be better? I think, yeah, I think the jury is absolutely still out on what it will. Of course. And I think the. doomsayers of, I don't know, I don't know if they're right.
Starting point is 00:53:05 I don't know who to believe, but I don't hear a lot of people protesting that like, you know, we can't fucking shackle. There's nothing we can do. That's what I'm saying. Progress. We can't shackle like people creating and inventing. And that is what we're doing here. And I don't know if this is, I don't know if this is the first time in history where laws are now being lobbied.
Starting point is 00:53:30 they haven't been passed, but laws are being passed where like if you create or invent something, you could go to jail. Well, look, like nuclear weapons for 20 years. We dropped the bombs. Everybody saw how fucking horrific it was, including the United States. And we were like, nobody can ever do that again. And there's laws to stop people from developing, you know, there's all sorts of peace. Well, certain countries can't, but other certain countries can, no.
Starting point is 00:53:59 Agreed. It's a wild card country. You've got to keep an eye on. But it's always a negotiation. It's always like it's always a negotiation to try and keep it in check. Yeah. But it's that thing though, it's like, well, do as I say, not as I do. If America is going to be like, we can have nukes, but you can't.
Starting point is 00:54:18 Well, it's a different America now than it was when those laws were written anyway. Like America was a different, had a different place in the world back then. We were looked to as leaders. We were looked to as people responsible for keeping the world order after World War II together. Like, we were unquestionably leaders. Like, you see that falling away now, which I don't think is going to be good for the world. But, you know, so, you know, United States, one had the experience of knowing how horrible these nuclear weapons were. I mean, Japan had more experience.
Starting point is 00:54:49 But isn't it crazy? It's like the country that dropped, it's like, we're going to make the rules now. Yeah. And look what they did with it. They were like, the rules are like, we're not going to use this shit. But why do they keep making more then? Why are they stockpiling nukes? Because Rush is making them.
Starting point is 00:55:05 I know, but it is like the... Talk it out one side of your mouth there. It was like, nukes are bad, nukes are bad. How many nukes we got again? Well, let's make sure everybody, the world knows how many nukes we got. Yeah, I agree. This is what exactly what I'm saying. Like, nothing, every...
Starting point is 00:55:19 It's all leading to a bad place. All of it. But we've been saying that since we've been alive. That's the, like, since everybody's been alive. How are things better now for you than there were years ago? Personally? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:31 Like I don't sit there and go like, oh my God, man. Like my life would be better if only the world was different this way. Well, I don't do that either, but like we're sitting here talking about it. You know what I mean? Like. But do you really believe that your life, if not for one twist in history, would be better? Well, no. because, but I don't think I'm on the best example to use.
Starting point is 00:56:04 I found like a cheat code. A little bit, you know what I mean? Well, it seems like, like, you know, there's a certain segment of the population that is able to find use that cheat code. But when I was a, one percenters. Like, like, even when I was a fireman, like, all right, let's even discuss this as an example. Like when the fire department started in New York City, whatever, let's even go back just 100 years. It's like fires back then were wood, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:56:35 They burned at a certain temperature and they weren't that toxic. Just basic kind of you shouldn't be breathing in smoke stuff. As a fireman now today, fires burn way hotter because plastics burn hotter than wood. Synthetics burn hotter than wood. So fires are more dangerous. There's way more chemicals being released in these fires. is that completely toxic. You get a lung full of shit.
Starting point is 00:56:57 You could die on the spot. So it's just like, so if I had stayed a fireman, yeah, 100% all this advancement and stuff would have affected me directly because the fires I'm going into are way more dangerous and way more deadly than they were 100 years ago. So there's, you know, just to use an example from my own life. Your personal health may have been more at risk. Sure. But your, but your abilities to not do something like, you know, like people have more obstacles, though, than, then, like, you know, you're, you're equating like that the health risks at being a fireman to people who are like, well, I can't get, like, it's harder for me to get, even get a fireman.
Starting point is 00:57:49 Like, you know, like they're not as readily available. And they, you know, they're not something that, like, it's, they're hard to come by. Like, these kind of career jobs, right? Yeah, I was just talking about my own experiences, right, of like how it would have affected my life. Yeah, the, that would, but like, your life would still be, you know, I mean, as long as you didn't have to go into any crazy infernos. I would love it. I would love doing it. It would still be a good life.
Starting point is 00:58:15 Yes. Yeah, I believe so. Yeah. But all that plastic that's being. made is poisoning rivers, is lying around for thousands of years is, I'm saying there's just a cost to everything. And I think that like we're where I fear that we are beyond the point where all of this is going to head into a good direction.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Now, fucking what do I know? I'm making this up as I go along and a technology can come out tomorrow that fucking fixes all of this. But as a society, as a species, are we prone to hysterics though? Is this Y2K on steroids, though? Well, I think we're prone to fear, and I think we're prone to believing that the way we think is right. And I think those two things don't, you know, go hand in hand in dangerous ways. You know, what a fucking episode for our fucking resident genius to not have a mic to weigh in.
Starting point is 00:59:10 I know, right? And just give us the definitive answers. He's sweating over there. Look at it. All right. I don't think all progress is bad, of course. And I just, I just feel humanity is cross some line. I think cell phone cameras really ruined, ruined society.
Starting point is 00:59:28 Ruin fantasy fest, I know that much. Yeah, but it's just like you have, you, like, you, like, you used to be able to go out with your friends and, like, have fun. And, like, like, now somebody could just record you doing anything. Like, we live in a prison. It's so funny. Because most people are going to, most people listen to this are going to be like, he wants to act like a fucking drunk. debaucher is fucking madman and now he can't
Starting point is 00:59:52 well no they'd be wrong they'd be wrong they'd be wrong because yeah but let me to those people I would say like I got to do it I got to not worry about whether I was going to lose my job because I've got fucking put an ice bucket on my head and danced on a bar like I got
Starting point is 01:00:08 to we're not talking about fucking I'm not talking about like getting you I'm not talking about like the me too shit where you're like you just do whatever you want I mean like you can go out now and act the fool and somebody could record it, put it online and your life could be destroyed.
Starting point is 01:00:24 Yes. You don't even have to act the fool. They could take it out of context and suddenly you're the bad guy. Like there was that girl who, I don't have a lot of sympathy for her, but like that girl who stole the Knicks. Yeah, the garbage can. And it's just like, look, when I was her age, I fucking stole things. I used
Starting point is 01:00:40 like I stole a firebox, like I stole a statue, like I stole shit. And it's like nobody recorded it and put it online and cost me my job and my public reputation for the rest of my fucking life. So it's like, do I think that fucking idiot should have been stealing the next thing and dumping that shit all the ground? No, I think it's reprehensible. Do I think she... She ever life ruined or career ruined? I don't think so. I don't think, but that's, but we've created that for each other. Yeah, like you got to know it's a possibility.
Starting point is 01:01:04 But the flip side to that is though, you know, we're catching people doing heinous shit. Like people jumping on cars at a fuck offenderbender and fucking pulling her pants down and defecating on someone's hood. That person, needs to be... That's a very extreme example. I mean... But it's happened. It's happened.
Starting point is 01:01:22 Right. Don't show him. Oh, okay. Yeah, but like, but is that worth it? Is that guy getting caught worth it? Or is a gal. By the way, and by the way, a gal like... She's 40, Q. She's a lot older than you were when you were doing your craziness.
Starting point is 01:01:34 But my point still stands. But both instances were gals, though. The defecating on the hood was a gal. And so was the person she, uh, stealing the can. All right. Great. And we're sitting here going like, well, that woman defecated on a car. So, so, so, her, you got your life ruined. But it's just like, what if she was having an episode of some sort?
Starting point is 01:01:51 Like, what if she was having a breakdown? What, diarrhea? No, like, what if she was having, like, a mental breakdown? And, like, and then that was, that was the moment that she flipped out. And it's just, like, 20 years ago, they would have been like, fuck, she did what? All right, we got to get us some help. And we got to, now there's no getting past it. Tell that to the guy who has to drive his car around for now for the life of the car.
Starting point is 01:02:10 Like, she was in the middle of an episode. My point is, you know that that that guy driving the car has done shit in his life that if it was recorded and put on the internet, it would ruin his life. Everybody has. Everybody fucking has. So you're just like, yeah, like, I don't think, look, I think that one with the Nix can is a fucking moron. I always bring up my wild card when someone says that. I go, I would, I would bet I'd go all in everything I own that if somebody was videotaping Sunday, Jeff, throughout his whole life, I'd be like, I don't know if there's, there's maybe some things that are like, that maybe something, but not enough where it would be.
Starting point is 01:02:45 But anything's enough now is my point. Anything's enough once it's fed up to the masses and ripped apart and decimated. People are like, hey, wait, we need something to be angry about. There it is. It's like, you think that like if there was a camera years ago that caught Sunday Jeff for turning those fucking things to Suncoast, like there wouldn't be a fucking TikTok video being like, look at this, his name's Jeff.
Starting point is 01:03:05 And he's stealing from Suncoast and this is why my shit is more expensive and blah. And then somebody would be like, the affordability crisis is kicked off because this fucking idiot is doing it. Because that's the way, that's the world we live in today. It's the world we live in today. You know, I have these rose color glasses on. You just rip my rose color glasses off cute. Why don't you do that?
Starting point is 01:03:26 It has fucking cameras and they reset you. Everybody else. We've done it to ourselves. We've done it to ourselves. And it starts with television. You're right. You're right. We're fucked.
Starting point is 01:03:39 Well, yeah. Yeah. I think so. I think so. I don't think humans were meant. To have this much information, I don't think humans, I don't think humans were meant to see this fucking many hot checks. Like, you'd be like one every once a month.
Starting point is 01:03:54 Right. Like, now, like, you go, you can go fucking, you go online. And, like, porn, porn turned out, look, porn was a different thing when it was a fucking finding your dad's fucking nudie mags to now where it's just like anybody of any age could go online and just see an endless, never-ending supply of the sickest, craziest shit you've ever seen in your life. And it's just like, is that a good thing?
Starting point is 01:04:16 And not only that, it's like on top of that, it's not like there's not enough hot girls. Now they have AI girls that they're creating. That's I'm saying. So now even the hot girls are out of business. And you're, and it's just like it's just a break. It's just breakdown of society. Break down, breakdown, breakdown.
Starting point is 01:04:30 All these things are breaking down, breaking down, breaking down. And who's profiting from it? Who's making money off it? Somebody is. A lot of people are. Yeah. Of course they are. Somebody's making money.
Starting point is 01:04:40 I have to work 20 years to make one of these guys making five minutes. You know what I mean? Like it's somebody's benefiting from it and it's not it's not the average person. I don't think. We've ruined childhood. We've ruined like everything that we took for granted growing up. I really think is largely gone now. Largely gone.
Starting point is 01:05:01 Like when it's like me an example. Like privacy, like the right to make mistakes, the ability to figure things out on your own, the ability to like develop thought and, and and I mean just everything nothing safe parents track their kids fucking everywhere everywhere it's like I would have I grew up without that and I think it was way better without that half the shit that made me who I am today came because I didn't have my parents breathing over my fucking neck all the time kids don't have that anymore I'm not sure some do this is like how is that better and it's in the name of safety and now if you don't track your kids
Starting point is 01:05:37 you're somehow a piece of shit it's like that's not yeah that's that one really really hits close to home because it's been a source of much stress and anxiety for me. Right. Because I'm like, oh, how come she didn't answer? I'll let me go track. You know, and it's like, oh, no, she's not online. Why isn't it showing up? And has it ever been anything bad?
Starting point is 01:05:58 No. But look at all the worrying. That's the thing. It's your kid. Right. And you can't not worry about it. All the fucking worrying that he's done that amounted to nothing that affected his relationship with his kids in ways that he's not even aware of.
Starting point is 01:06:11 Oh, yeah. Right. Yeah. It's like, so that's not better. Of course it's not better, but it's almost like it's impossible for me personally not to do because I'm neurotic. I agree with you 100%, but I think all of humanity is this way and we just keep getting served all this shit that looks great at first. But then when you get a few years down in law and you're like, I don't know if the world is a better place for this. The internet.
Starting point is 01:06:36 Perfect example. Perfect example. It doesn't mean it doesn't do good. It doesn't mean that there isn't a good. side to it all. There is, of course. There's upsides to... Right. But I think the overall arc of it all is just like, there's just no way things are better. I feel... People don't seem happier. If you look online, especially social media, people do not seem
Starting point is 01:06:58 happier. And it's like, somebody can be sitting there going like, no, you're wrong. Like, I am happier. And that's your, that's... I'm... Yeah, the people who are making... I mean, look at us. We're making our living on the internet. So without it, what would, what would we be doing right now? You know, me and Brian and get them. What will we be doing? I don't know. It couldn't even be plumbers.
Starting point is 01:07:17 We learned that last week. I don't know. I mean, all our lives got to double-edged sword. Derailed by the entertainment industry. All of us, everybody in this room. How do we get derailed? Well, derailed is a negative word, so maybe that's not what I mean. Divered.
Starting point is 01:07:34 They're affected? Right. If no movies, Kevin doesn't make clerks. Yes. Wouldn't even know each other. Everybody in this room doesn't even, you two know each other. Well, I would know Kevin still. Well, I'm just in this room.
Starting point is 01:07:45 Like, you and Brian know each other. Yes. We wouldn't even know I don't. We wouldn't get them. That's what I'm saying. Like, oh, you know, so it's just the, these things have like these effects, these unseen effects. The butterfly effect. The butterfly effect.
Starting point is 01:07:57 And I just, I don't know. Do we got to fucking start killing some butterflies? I don't care. I think it's too late. I don't have souls. They have eyes, though, Walt. They have insect eyes. They're like demon eyes.
Starting point is 01:08:10 And look, again, I don't sit there and think about this stuff. So I'm really just kind of just feeling that. You are, you're very, I mean, I think you're going to fucking shoot right back up to your beloved status amongst the listeners. I don't know about that. As the wisest member of testing. I don't know that the listeners ever thought that. I think it was just in this room. I think they did.
Starting point is 01:08:30 And I think like you're going to win back hearts and minds in a big bad way this episode. Just by pointing out how everything sucks. They know it's going to get worse. If it does resonate with anybody, it's. It's only because they're sitting there being like, yeah, yeah, this is why I feel the way I feel. Like, this sucks. It sucks. But people were, I know you say, like, people weren't as depressed when before the Internet, but people were depressed.
Starting point is 01:08:53 I was depressed before the Internet. So it's not, it wasn't like it was, um, this world that was, you know, full of lollipops and rainbows where people had, people were not. Yeah. There was plenty of people who were not feeling it. Correct. I was one of them. Yeah. So it was definitely one of them.
Starting point is 01:09:11 But I, I, I mean, anybody would have to be, have blinders on to think, though, that there aren't more depressed people now. Right. Than there was before the Internet. And now to, like. Or less we just hear about it more because people going online and they got to talk about it. Well, that's what I was about to say. Like, when we first started doing this podcast, like, I would talk about how I was depressed and stuff like that when I was younger.
Starting point is 01:09:32 And it felt different than it does today. Like, I stopped talking about that because after a while, like, that's all anybody talked about. And we're in this fucking victim. Oh, hey, Teddy. we're in this victim cycle where it's just like suddenly it's just like it's the victim Olympics where it's like well I'm depressed well I have this well I have that well and that's why I stopped talking about because you're like everybody's got something because you didn't feel yours were up to snuff no because I feel like it's it's like when I did it or a bronze no and more like back then it was
Starting point is 01:10:03 like well look if I was talking about this and I felt this way and somebody was listening and they weren't hearing it everywhere else it wasn't talked about then you know maybe maybe at the time it would make me feel better to talk about it or someone out there who was going through it to hear about it. I can guarantee you I still, I get just last week multiple emails at least once a month of people saying, I wish you guys would talk more about mental health. When you guys did earlier on, it was such a comforting and helpful thing to hear that I wasn't feeling alone.
Starting point is 01:10:35 Yeah, but it's an industry now. It's an industry now. But the difference is that that person, emailing me has a connection with you or Brian or whoever and that is that they don't have with somebody online just posting on on X or something, you know. So I hear somebody that they know and feel that they have a connection with, say, they feel the same way too. It is a source of comfort and it is helpful to them.
Starting point is 01:11:05 I get it all the time. Yeah, but we also have something that that is rare now too. We've been doing the show 17 years. Like, podcasts don't really go on this long. You know what I mean? How many other podcasts are out there doing it as long as we have? Doug Benson has done it. You know, I'm sure there's others.
Starting point is 01:11:20 I'm not saying there's not. There's a couple. Yeah, but we're up there. Well, we're up there. And it's just like, we have something unique. We have 17 years of continuity. We have 17 years of people listening to us. Yeah, road map.
Starting point is 01:11:30 And knowing us. And like, you know what I mean? It's like, so I get it. You know, we're in a unique position in that way. But overall, it's just like, you want to hear about people's fucking pain? Just log on line for two seconds. people love to tell you about their pain and fucking make themselves the star of their own shows, which is just like, all right, I don't want to be a part of that.
Starting point is 01:11:50 Okay. You know, I just, I don't like that. And, but that's what I'm saying, like me feeling comfortable talking about me being depressed with the either true or misguided notion that it might help anybody, what became a step, and not just me, I just mean in general, like became a stepping stone to everybody doing nothing besides fucking talking about their goddamn problems and their problems are the most important fucking problems in the world, don't you know?
Starting point is 01:12:15 And it's just like maybe, maybe if I had shut my fucking mouth and kept it in the closet like our grandfathers did, we wouldn't be in the fucking situation that we are today. And I didn't mean to that. So you never felt better like airing it? You never felt a little bit better like being like getting it off your chest. I did. Grandpa, like you said, maybe he never did.
Starting point is 01:12:36 Maybe that was, maybe it would have helped him if he had an outlet to talk about it. Could have? Maybe. Maybe. I might have been taking it out on grandma. You don't know? You don't know. What does I say? There's no answers. There's no answers. There's not a single answer in any of this. I think I talked more on this episode than I have in the entire fucking year. Preach.
Starting point is 01:12:54 No, because again, I'm making it up and it's gone wrong. So I'm sure I said something stupid somewhere along the way. Well, somebody will point it out. Don't worry. Come on, me. Not more stupid than me saying that there's only two gals working in the science field. Come on, man. You know that. You know I'm going to get that. You got an ad?
Starting point is 01:13:13 We do. Oh, boy. Yep. To segue into an ad after that fucking lofty, that's why. That's why there's doctors, professors, physicists, diplomats, diplomats are listening. I'm telling you, right get them? Diplomats from other countries are listening to TSD for conversations like we just had right there.
Starting point is 01:13:36 They come to us. To fucking, for answers to questions that the universe can't answer, but TSD can. Well, if they have questions about boners, I'm right here for you. This episode is sponsored by Blue Chew. Make Everyday Hump Day with Blue Chewold. Is your girl giving you the look? We'll be ready when she is with Blue Chewold's arousal boosting formula. Which is the look they're talking about?
Starting point is 01:14:01 They look like, no, or yeah. No, I think that the look is a Spanish fly after giving you the no look. If they're giving you the yeah, look, then it's blue chew. Oh, okay. That's right. I said arousal boosting. That means blue chew gold gets both heads in the game. Remember the scene in the wolf of Wall Street when Leo says,
Starting point is 01:14:20 I'm not fucking leaving. That's your boner on blue chew. Blue chew gold stays active in your system for up the 36 hours. That's a long weekend big dog. That's round one, two, and three. So that means you're ready for action for 36 hours. For 36 hours, yeah. Yeah, it's not like taking it.
Starting point is 01:14:36 Sounds disruptive. It's done it in fucking two hours. It feels like what if you got to go to work? Your whole weekend. The next morning. Maybe you take it on Friday night, you know, so you got all through to the next night and then maybe a little Sunday morning action and then you rest up for Monday. Okay.
Starting point is 01:14:50 That's just in time for church. Responsibly. Right, yeah. But let's say, you know, she's got the look. She's got the look and on a Monday night, you know, and then you got a full week ahead of you. You can always find another job. Find a good playlist. Maybe apologize to your neighbors for the noise
Starting point is 01:15:09 What's the playlist, Q? Three songs on your playlist. Yeah, let's hear. Didn't we do this? Didn't we do? So it's just got to be a new, a new track that's been added to the playlist. You can't teach this old dog and your trip.
Starting point is 01:15:21 Any Barry White? I don't like to sound of men's voices when I'm doing it. Give me like a... You're not thinking of your partner? Give me a... Shadee. How do you say a name? Shadee?
Starting point is 01:15:32 Yeah, give me... Yeah, I like a... a soft, sultry female voice while I'm going. Okay, but you don't have a track in here for her, for her pleasure? Um, there for her pleasure. Yeah, she doesn't need music. She'll be seeing stars soon enough. They're thinking about Barry White.
Starting point is 01:15:51 Yeah. Uh, where it was. Is it more upbeat tracks, or is it more like slow, tender kind of like? It could be anything. I mean, I'm not really a big music. Okay. During a guy to begin with, but I think it seems so empty and quiet if you don't have a little something on, right? Yeah, you got a movie going or something in the back.
Starting point is 01:16:12 Oh, yeah. What's the movie then? Porn movie. I could use porn movie, yeah. Like there's no like, could be pro wrestling. Has been. So people are like, so your partner's all like, cue, every time you're watching these big fucking sweaty, muscular men wrestle. get all ornery.
Starting point is 01:16:36 You don't even need your Blue Chil. Women's wrestling is about 50% of the product this day, well. I can't help but notice. Shh, baby. Let's see here. There's a reason Blue Chure is the number one brand for better sex. Experience it for yourself

Oh my God, Pat's and the Steelers. I can't stay on one game. I'm like it's never been so fucking fulfilling. Red So.
Starting point is 01:17:49 I don't like Red Zone. I like to be able to fucking control where I go get them. No, I don't want Red Zone telling me what game I got to watch. No, I want to go bounce around like a fucking, like a frog on fucking LSD. Look, and your TV does it have like picture and pictures so you can watch multiple games? games at the same time. I know some TVs have that. My TV is from 1996, I think. Okay, so probably not. Probably not. Frank in the back. He's got to run before we watch it.

Starting point is 01:18:57 I think there's a lot of time left. The Lions made it pretty far last year, right? They didn't make the playoffs. They didn't, damn. So, yeah. It was a year before. But there's been so many, you know, young stars going down. I mean, lost for the season already, you know, two weeks in, that's not good for the league.
Starting point is 01:19:16 I'm sure Price Picks doesn't want to hear us talk about that. What's not good for the league? You asked. I did. I want the answers. Starting point is 01:20:25 dot com slash usr slash t-esd town general store uh we put stuff we try to put stuff up every week auction is usually on on a Sunday around 6, 7 o'clock, so you can be it casually relaxing when the auction goes off and don't have to worry about maybe missing something that you can't find anywhere else. I want to ask you something, Q, about the office coach and his approach and to see if you agree with it. Okay. So I had this, I thought, brilliant idea to bring in a massage chair into the building. permanently or just for like you ever see them at the mall you put dollars in yeah and it just and massages you yeah and i said to get them i was like make some calls see if you can get someone to bring a chair down here and put it in the store or put it in the building at least like
Starting point is 01:21:17 in the hallway so everybody can use it hmm all right and he he in his immediate like no because it's probably against the rules of the plaza because there's a massage parlor in the plaza already shouldn't he be like yes boss i'm on it boss yeah that rule He made up that rule And enforced him. What do you mean? It's in the lease. What's in the lease?
Starting point is 01:21:37 What's it say? No competing businesses. It's not a business. It's just a massage share. No competing services, should I say. It's not a service. It's a massage share. But we have a massage parlor in the...
Starting point is 01:21:47 Yeah, but we're not selling it. We're not allowing it to other people to use it for money. No, that's that was... He wanted it installed in the hallway so that people could put money into it. Yeah, that's what it is. I don't know if I could... Because I... I mean, again, I don't care about what he's saying.
Starting point is 01:22:01 Technically, I would say he's probably right about that. But get a massage chair here or just put it in. Yes. And I was like, who the fuck cares? No one cares. Who the fuck cares? Even if the fucking owners of the plaza were like, hey, you guys are in violation bringing that chair and I'd be like, okay, so what?
Starting point is 01:22:16 I agree with you. All right. Big fucking deal then. I agree. We'll get it out of here then. But until then, who fucking cares? Yeah. Suck my dick.
Starting point is 01:22:25 I agree. Right? Yeah. I don't know why he's not doing what you're telling them to do. It doesn't make any sense, right? It does make sense when he. he knows that he's bulletproofing and he can't get fired.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Yeah. He's a perfect fucking sense. But he should be all on that and be like, I shouldn't be worried about the welfare of probably in a legal fucking business that's downstairs doing illegal fucking activities.
Starting point is 01:22:47 Almost without a talent. Allegedly. Allegedly. Yeah. Now he's worried about that fucking possible slavery ring that's downstairs. And now I got to,
Starting point is 01:22:59 I can't get a fun massage on a chair. Yeah. Yeah. Right? You're not wrong. Because he doesn't want to upset the sex traffickers. No, because he doesn't want to make the call. That's why.
Starting point is 01:23:08 He's so fucking lazy he doesn't want to make the call. So tell him to make the calls. I did. He didn't make them. Tell him again. I want you to tell him. You got to make the calls. You're going to make the calls?
Starting point is 01:23:19 It's going to cost. Give my mic. It's just going to cost a store about, uh, 2000. We don't know that. We don't know that. We don't know that. We don't know that. We negotiate, bitch.
Starting point is 01:23:30 That's what we do here. I showed you. It's $50. $1,200 a month? No. A month for what? To rent a chair. No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:23:37 You negotiate. Just buy the chair. You get a temporary, like, hey, can we have a 30-day trial to see what kind of the traffic's like? At least we get it then for free. How much is a chair to buy? I don't know. $5,000.
Starting point is 01:23:49 You need a $5,000 chair? I don't. I want to get one for free. Or at least for a month. Right? And I don't understand why he's not making the call. Yeah, make the calls. You got to make the calls.
Starting point is 01:24:00 You got to negotiate. You got to be a little. like, hey, you got to drop some fucking names like IJ's, Brian Quinn. I don't do that. Why? He wants it for free. He got a backache, we'll tell him. You got a back problem.
Starting point is 01:24:12 Doing a punishment on hijay. No, no. I don't want my name being brought into this. You're part of telling Steve Dave. I know, but I won't use the chair. I'll let you use it. I don't want to use it. Oh, it's great chair.
Starting point is 01:24:24 I don't like massages. I never let them. No. Use a chair. You're not going to... I need a picture of you in the chair if we're going to drop your name, though. Well, that's what I'm saying. Photoshop your head on it.
Starting point is 01:24:32 That's what I'm saying. Don't get my name. Don't get my name. That says $89 a month I just saw. Rental, $89 a month. What are we talking about? Yeah, I don't know. He hasn't made one call to investigate.
Starting point is 01:24:48 That's it. Only $90 a month. You don't even have to negotiate. Just get it. Pay the $89 of the month. You know? And then I thought, I just don't know if we'll get $89 or $1,000. He told me it was $1,000 a month minimum that they had to, like,
Starting point is 01:25:01 have to bring in a thousand on the chair. Why? Why do we have to bring in anything at all? Because people put money into it. But why do we have to bring in anything at all? Why are we trying monetize this? If you want the chair, just get the chair for the office. I don't want the money.
Starting point is 01:25:11 The money goes to the chair company. He just wants the chair. What I'm saying, just spend the $150 for the month and just have the chair in that room over there and use it when you want. I want it for free. I don't want to have to pay anything for it. It's $150. It's too much. But when we can get, when I know that just on clout, well, your clout, so we can get,
Starting point is 01:25:31 A fucking chair in here, at least for a month, on a trial basis to see if the traffic is heavy enough on the chair. I don't think it will be. Like you, what was one of the, what's on prior punishment where you had to do something very physical? Oh, the alligator. I said, yeah, tweet this back with that alligator. Or when he got dragged around by the rope in the, uh, when they were doing the rodeo.
Starting point is 01:25:53 We'll tell you, we'll tell them all sorts of, coming back to haunt him, the old injuries. I don't think so. I don't think they're going to care. Because you could be like. And then they're going to go online and be like this fucking guy called. He's trying to get a free chair. I don't want it. I don't want it.
Starting point is 01:26:07 I'd rather give you the $150.50 to the one. Now you're getting it for free. All right. We'll give you an update. He's going to make the calls. I believe he's going to make the calls. He just gave me his word. He's going to make the calls.
Starting point is 01:26:20 So let him make the calls. But we got your contract, 159 a month. Locked in. No, no, no. No, no. I want to, you got to negotiate on a trial basis. Can we get the chair. for a 30 to 60 days, see what kind of money is in it after six days, and then we'll sign a contract.
Starting point is 01:26:37 That's what I want. Make it happen. Oh, no. Service is not available at this location. On this one website. At cuckoorentle.com. Maybe there's somebody listening who has a connection to, you know, one of these massage chair business.
Starting point is 01:26:54 I was in the mammoth mall. There was literally 200 chairs in the mall. Yeah. There's no way they're bringing. in that much money per chair, though. I agree. You know, and we've got a lot of elderly fucking people in this fucking building. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:27:09 Up on the second floor up here? Oh, yeah. It's all fucking, it's like a, it's like a little. How many offices are up here? At least 10. I'd say, even if they used it every day. Yeah. And it wouldn't be enough hours.
Starting point is 01:27:21 10 bucks a day. It wouldn't be $1,000. Traffic's not that high in the, I mean, this is like a nursing home at times, it feels like up here. Some of the geriatrics that are wandering around. It could have dragged that hundred-year-old lady. that was trying to pet Teddy could bring her up. I have to, I have to go. I gotta get going too.
Starting point is 01:27:39 Yeah, it's after two. How long is this episode? Hour and a half. Yeah. All right. All right. I got a little sidetracked with all the fucking heady topics. It's an episode, man.
Starting point is 01:27:48 It's an episode. I'm just meeting one of the IJ writers at the Yellow Rose at two. Okay. It's 207, so I'm kind of already running a little bit. We'll talk about Karat-Tops' extortion case next week. Oh, yeah. All right. I'll read up on it.
Starting point is 01:28:00 All right. Yeah. Get familiar with it. Yeah, I will. Yeah, carrot top. I saw him live. He was really funny. Seems like a nice guy.
Starting point is 01:28:07 Yeah, he seemed like a nice guy. He's got a sex tape. Yeah, he tried to off himself. And it's back to this sex tape that, uh, surfaced. I have to imagine that whatever's on that tape is a career under that if you're going to kill yourself. In this day and age, nobody would care if it was just missionary. That's what I said. I was just like, well, I don't think, I don't think that he would, could do missionary with this partner, unless, you know, the guy was on his stomach.
Starting point is 01:28:31 Oh. Hell of Steve, Dave. That's great.
