Starting point is 00:00:17 is here for our extra nugget of joy for our show and tell. So on reasons to be joyful, we ask people to share with us something that brings them joy. It can be a thing, a person, a moment, whatever it is. I have absolutely no idea
Starting point is 00:00:33 how yours is going to go. I don't either because I haven't thought about this. Okay, because I'd hate, I never plan things. Okay, something that brings me joy is, okay, this is a bit, bar me, CrossFit. Okay, that's not, but why is that bar me? Well, because it's, it's kind of like,
Starting point is 00:00:51 it's, it's not what I would expect to be saying, but it gives me so much joy. Well, that's exactly what it's about. To be learning new things in my 40s, like gymnastics, like, I never, I didn't learn gymnastics when I was 14, do you know what I mean? And weight and all of that stuff.
Starting point is 00:01:13 And I go and do it in this, like, dirty, not, it's not dirty, I shouldn't say it's dirty, but like spit and sawdust gym under the arches of a railway station. With like, there are like Olympic athletes. I mean, and then there's me and no one gives a shit. They're all just like, yeah, well done, you did it. You did the wad.
Starting point is 00:01:33 You did today's wad, which is work out of the day. There's all this, there's this whole language around it that I love. And I'm like, yeah, I did do the wad. Yeah, I'm a legend. Do you wad every day? No, at the moment. How many times do you wad? Well, so when I can wad, because it's like four or five times a week, but I don't, but at the moment, unfortunately, I'm only getting to go like once a week because I'm having to run.
Starting point is 00:01:56 Don't know. Once a week wadding is, do you wad? To wad, we wad, you would. But it's not something I really love it and I don't like, I don't mind yoga, but I don't really want to do it four or five times a week. Like I have to stretch, you know. but I just love, I'll go into a class and just do what I'm told and just sweat for an hour and come out and I'm like, oh my God, I'm a legend. And it's scaled for all, you know, so they don't care what ability you are. They're like, oh, you can't do a handstand. Obviously, I can't do a handstand. They're like, well, that's okay.
Starting point is 00:02:37 Do some push press seated. I'm like, okay, yeah, I can do that. I love you for that. and I love that it's CrossFit and you've taught me a new word. I'm going to Wod later. Wad. Wad.
Starting point is 00:02:52 There's an app. It's an app called Wodify. Is there? Yeah, and that's where you go on and you put in, it shows you what wads are on that day. Okay. What's it called? No, that's, you'd have to sign up to a CrossFit, do.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Oh, I want to Wodify. But if you go in the world of CrossFit, I think people are, I mean, it's very, like David Goggins. Do you know David Goggins? He's bringing me quite a lot of joy at the moment. He like, he was a Navy seal and he finished his seal training
Starting point is 00:03:23 like running on two broken legs and he's like, you think that you've only got, you think you can, when you think that you, you want to stop, you've got another 60% left in you. Oh, I, yeah, but he sounds good. I've got Caroline Gervyn, who I do online, she's fantastic.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Really? She's fantastic. Irish. She's brilliant. She doesn't ward, but she, I go of him. Yeah, I quite like that sort of like, you know, I do think there's a kind of, there's a lot of, there's a lot of like men doing weights online, you know,
Starting point is 00:03:55 and like, yeah, I'm really tough. And I'm like, get out my way, blokes. In I come with my boobs and I'm going to wad you. And then, and then, you know, talking about tabatas and metcons. And I'm like, yeah, yeah, how much can you lift? I'm like, how much can you lift? who, you know, like, you try lifting with these boobs
