This is our extra nugget of joy for reasons to be joyful.
Daisy Haggard, have you brought in a surprise, joyful thing?
Or have you brought in things?
Okay, so something funny happened.
First of all, I was like, I wish I could bring my sofa in because it's so big,
and it makes me so happy.
And then I said, I wish I could bring my bed in because it's so big, and it makes me happy.
Because when I go to bed, I'm like, oh, I love my bed, I love my bed.
And then I wake up in the morning and go, oh, I wish, I could bring my bed in my bed in,
this stuff this evening I can sit on my sofa.
What colours your sofa? It's green.
It's green, green, minty green. It's just so comfy.
Anyway, I couldn't bring them in because apparently there wasn't the budget for that, Gabby.
Or the room.
So then I was like, oh, I can't bring my kids and animals and madness.
So then I was like, oh, I'll bring, oh, the necklace that I wear, which is a really sweet necklace that my husband got made for me.
And it's a bit earnest and all that.
And it's like, this is an earnest reason to be joyful.
No, it's lovely.
No, but wait, but then I got out of the taxi,
and I was like, oh, that wasn't quite, I'm not quite the right thing.
And I, the taxi driver said something like, oh, I'm enjoying boat story,
and I sort of felt a bit kind of glamorous and actressy.
And I flung my, actually, this scarf makes me happy.
I flung it around and attached to my scarf.
Honestly, genuinely, the Velcro attached was a dog's costume
that my friend bought me this.
weekend and we laughed for about an hour as we put our poor like soft long suffering
dog in this terrible costume which it's an elf costume it's an elf costume for a dog was stuck
to your scarf and I thought do you know what this is fake because clearly I'm just
really glad I didn't get the tube because that's the kind of thing that that's the kind
of thing that happens to me I would have done the whole tube journey like oh people are
looking at me that's so and then how embarrassing and then I'd have been like oh
Oh my God, I've got an elf costume.
So yeah, so then I was like...
Is that honestly what happened?
This is honestly what happened.
I got out of that...
I swear on my life.
I got out that taxi.
And then somebody looked at me
and I pretended it was entirely on purpose.
I went like that.
I sort of nodded at it and put it in my pocket.
So I think this wins as the reason to be...
Oh, this is perfect for our Christmas show.
And it's Christmas show.
And it's Christmasy.
Yes, let me...
So this is a dog's...
Elf costume.
It's always...
it's double-sided.
It's reversible. It's a reversible.
Where does it go on?
It just sort of wraps around them and they look a bit.
But actually sort of works as a warmer.
But yeah, I thought that was fate.
But it was stuck to your scarf.
It was stuck to my scarf, which is another thing that makes me happy
because everyone thinks it's from a really fancy shop.
And I tell them with great pride, they go, oh my gosh, is that an acne scarf?
Oh, that's really great.
And I go, no, it's from Super Truck.
$3.99.
Yes.
But your husband's necklace.
My husband's necklace is really lovely, but I'm afraid it's totally trumped by a bit of a reversible dog costume that was attached to me.
And that sums me up.
Do you know I once got a Christmas tree?
So I used to live in Brixton and I watched a lot of when Harry met Sally and always wanted to romantically take my Christmas trees home.
And I bought a Christmas tree that was quite big.
And I got, I thought, oh, actually I started walking and I couldn't really get home.
So I got on a bus.
and it got, you know, the netting in it,
got attached to all of the buttons on my coat.
And I fell forward onto the Christmas tree on a bus,
and I couldn't get up.
So there you go.
And then some people helped me.
It just was not when Harry met Sally,
it was, it was Daisy,
when Daisy carried a Christmas tree on a bus.
to people had to help me
and then they had to like detach me
from the Christmas tree
gosh it was so embarrassing
I'd actually forgot about that
it was so embarrassing
I think I felt quite cute as well
you know and I felt quite like I was in a rom-com
but it was more of the com
I've got on
my god
Merry Christmas
