This is our nugget of joy.
Because this is reasons to be joyful.
We always ask for show and tell.
A little extra bit of joy.
Ed, we're going to go with you first, if we may,
for our Friday extra.
So I brought it in.
I've had a terrible morning.
You've had it?
Oh, I'm sorry.
Because I brought this in.
I thought this would work.
So you went into your coat and you've got a yellow plastic bag.
This is a doggy bag.
If you have dogs.
This is a doggy bag.
I used to. I can't now.
My husband's allergic.
Oh, no.
He's developed it during the.
course of the marriage
or he's always been alleging.
Not to me, to dogs.
Yeah, right. No, no, yeah.
So...
I'm going to video you do.
Oh.
Liam Perrinz.
Liam Perens.
So what's happened is
I brought it in
because I thought,
I want to talk about how much
I think this makes life worth living
and it makes meals pop.
Stephen Frye described
a book of quotations
as the Worcestershire source
of conversation.
This idea that life's about sparkling
and everything being improved,
you know?
Anyway, brought it in
and it leaked in my bag.
Oh, no.
And Liam Perrin's
it's anchovies.
The absolute whiff of it.
The smell.
Oh, was it you on the tube, early?
It was me.
It was me.
I wanted to introduce myself,
but I...
Couldn't do it.
So I...
That ball was...
Look how little there is left.
Full than that.
So I'm gonna have to buy a new bag.
I've just come with it wrapped in my pocket.
Where's your bag?
I've left at Soho Theatre rehearsals
and I'm going to set fire to it when we go back.
Does it?
Absolutely.
Wash it.
I mean, it's fish.
We're talking fish.
But could you not just wash it?
I think it's time to get a new one.
I'm so traumatized,
what's happened. Well, thank you. So it brings you joy because you drink it. Well, you can
drink it, of course. You can add it to, you can add it to Bloody Mary, which without this
is just pizza mix, isn't it? That's bad stuff. A Bloody Mary without this. With vodka. Yeah,
vodka and pizza mix. Okay. But you add this and suddenly got yourself a sparkling drink.
So that gives you your sparkle. It's the secret ingredient to Bolnaz. It's the secret ingredient
to have it everywhere. Have it everywhere.
Cheese on toast. Cheese on toast.
It's good.
It's actually really good with sweet corn.
Is it really?
Yeah. Add it to sweet corn.
Delicious.
I don't think I've ever used that.
I think the one that I had in my flat was probably taken from my mum's house.
It's out of date now.
It probably expired before I took it from my mum's house.
Really?
I don't think it would go off.
It's got vinegar.
It's got to go off.
Right, anyway.
Well, thank you to that.
I love that you brought Worcester sauce.
That brings you joy.
I did.
I love the things that bring people joy.
They're so varied, don't you?
every week. Kyle.
I don't know if this does bring me joy, actually, now that you said that.
Originally, I thought that.
Yeah, well, okay.
But also, I didn't have many resources because I've literally come off a plate.
You've gone off an airplane.
But I do want to let you know that this isn't from this trip.
This is from the last trip.
You have a little bag.
I have a little bag.
I've got some toothpaste in here, but that's not what I'm getting.
Not your toothpaste.
Well, I can bring other people joy toothpaste, because you don't want your smelly breath.
I brushed my teeth in McDonald's toilet this morning.
Not in the actual loo.
You mean in the sink?
Oh, am I not supposed to do it in?
Ew!
So this...
So this is...
This is a little key ring.
Okay, I'm going to video this as well, right?
Okay.
So this is a little key ring.
It's a little key ring.
I bought this in April when I went to Barbados for the second time.
Because I went in December.
I took my mum for Christmas.
And she loved it.
And she was born there.
And she loves it.
and she was very happy to be back in her homeland.
And I bought this key ring for a friend.
And then I looked at the key ring and I thought,
I really liked this.
And I tried to find another one so that I also had one.
I couldn't find it anywhere.
I went back to the shop that I got this from.
They don't have it anymore.
That was the last one.
And I said, I'm not going to use this key ring.
The reason that I've gone back out there is because I'm house hunting.
And I'm not going to use this key on anything else until I get the key for the house.
Oh, I love that.
I'm going to buy.
So it will bring you joy.
This has been in my bag since April
and will remain there.
So this will bring you joy?
It will bring me joy once I've got through
the very, very tedious process of house hunting.
What's so lovely is it still got the price on the back?
How much does he pay for a year?
Ten.
Ten Barbados dollars.
We're talking about five US dollars,
which is about £3, let's say, 64.
Not anymore.
It's 20 pounds as well.
Well, the way's all going.
That's beautiful.
That is fantastic.
I love that.
that's going to bring you future joy. It will, yeah. Lovely. Thank you both very much and thank you for
spreading the joy. Thank you. Thank you.
