Hey friends. If we haven't met yet, my name is Levy Holliday Green. I'm a personal development and
motivation author. I wrote The Seven Secrets to Boost Self-Confidence and Self-Esteem unlock your
potential and confidence. You can find my books on Amazon. Today, I chose to take the armor off.
Not the kind you can see, the kind you wear just to survive. I'm safe.
sitting here right now, coffee in my hands, thinking about you, about those of you who keep
showing up, even when inside everything feels unsteady.
There was a day, a very specific day, no dramatic explosion, no shouting, no chaos on the outside,
just something breaking quietly. A major project collapsed, and with it, the trust,
I had given freely. No hesitation, no protection, straight from the heart. I remember exactly
where I was sitting. I was staring ahead, but I couldn't see a thing. Life kept moving. People
kept moving. But inside me, everything froze. And here's the thing, friends. That day,
I knew everything. All the books, all the theories, all the right answer.
I knew what I was supposed to think, what I was supposed to do, but my heart was done.
Not collapsing, not exploding, just quietly letting go, like a hand that can't hold on anymore.
And maybe you've been there. That moment when you say to yourself, I know what I should do. I just don't have it in me right now.
That's when the real fight begins.
Not out there, in here.
Your limbic brain starts screaming, the amygdala takes over, and it keeps whispering,
stop, protect yourself, you've already given too much.
What's the point anymore?
And what's dangerous is this.
When you're exhausted, that voice sounds reasonable.
It sounds like logic, like wisdom.
like clarity, but it's not clarity. It's fear. The calm I have today, the inner steadiness,
the mental clarity, none of that existed back then. Back then, I was shaking, holding it together
on the outside, falling apart on the inside. And that's when I learned something crucial.
You don't shut down the amygdala by force. You calm it with evidence.
So I stopped trying to feel better, and I focused on one thing only, staying afloat, not being strong, not being inspiring, just not sinking.
I broke my days into tiny actions, almost laughably small. Get up, breathe, do one clear thing, just one.
And every time I did it, even imperfectly, my brain got a message,
you're not in danger, you're still moving.
That tiny wind released a bit of dopamine, not excitement, not motivation fireworks, just enough
to whisper, keep going.
Day after day, I used clarity as a lifeline.
I wrote to create order.
I simplified to stay grounded.
I narrowed my focus so I wouldn't drown.
That's how I came back.
Not suddenly, not heroically, but honestly, and for real.
And if I'm sharing this with you today, it's not to impress you.
It's so you hear this clearly.
If you're tired, you're not weak.
If you're doubting yourself, you're not broken.
If you feel like quitting, it doesn't mean you failed.
It means your system is asking for safety.
I've been there, and if I made it through, step by step, so can you.
I won't promise ease.
I promise stability.
I'm walking with you.
That's why I'm here today.
Not speaking from a pedestal, not from an ivory tower.
I'm speaking from inside the wave.
From the exact place where I learned this, you can be broken.
and still be dignified. You can be afraid and still be a winner. If my work is structured,
it's because it was forged in chaos. If it's simple, it's because in the dark,
you don't need fancy words. You need a steady hand. This coffee right here is my way of telling
you, I see you. I see the invisible effort it takes to stay upright.
when everything feels like it's shaking.
Yes, I'm the author of these words,
but more than that, I'm your companion on the road.
You're not alone in this.
We move forward together.
Thank you for listening with your heart, not just your mind.
I'll see you very soon right here
on the path of personal growth.
Take care of yourselves, friends, truly.
Your growth continues,
and I'll see you in the next episode.
