So talk about this album. Like, what was the inspiration for? What should we expect? Are we twerking? Are we crying? Because you make all. all the music. I almost cried a little bit on this jump, but um, yeah, it's just, it's, it's, it's everything that's been going on the past four years with me, like, like life, like my, my life

or, yeah, it's heavy. She's hard out here for everybody, man. I know, that's right. You know what I'm saying? Everything is a lot. What about the features? Who on it? It's interesting ones. No, you know, you know, you know, but it's not cool to say it features no more until the day of, but Odeal, I don't know if you know, Odeal, that's my man from UK. Okay. We actually drop an art record on Friday. I don't know when it dropped, but it dropped this Friday. Okay.

So, while, like, I think so you have so many legendary hits and legendary features as well. So do you ever feel the pressure with your new album that's coming out to, like, live up to the expectations that people have of, like, your own music? My only worry in this generation of, or this era, is, again, people have an access. You can like it, love it, hate it, whatever. being partial but I want I just want to get a I wanted to get in their aims and I want to everybody to hear what I'm saying and then we can't get everything else after

that I can't control well I was hard to cut through it's a lot going on everything I've been paying attention to the feed I know you've been working on some sneakers man what you got coming up in the shoe game actually man it's quiet man but uh my man foggy wearing some he wears some he wears some let's go I like that that's kind of a It's all for lunch. I ain't show nobody. I didn't think, I don't think, I don't really seen him, John. I like that. I'm trying to figure out how he got him, but... That looks at them, that's my brother.

He do? He do? He'd be serving them up? Most definitely. Yeah. And you know what I dig about Foggy Ro? Not only is he dope. Only is he dope with the lyrics, man. His visuals be just as hard as the lyrics.

You got the sauce. Everybody, him and him, Mani Wells, they got the sauce. While the new album coming out, November 14. I don't know how to do that. He would be toured like two months, three months. He didn't give me none of the sauce on how he'd be doing all his little visuals. He'd be keeping that. I don't know.

I'm going to figure out how you do it one day. He got to be, no, he be cooking that shit. What are you working on right now? What do you have coming of? You know, I'm just following Waleh around, just studying, and just taking notes, so when that's my time, I'll go. What book are you reading right now? I feel like the way you rap, make a bitch you want to read. I feel like I got to learn some words to listen to Waleigh.

Audio books, probably. I don't really be reading like that. Really? I can be reading way more. I'm not like a, I'm not like a Mark Lamont, like high intellect. I'm a high, though. No, you're very intellectual. What are you doing your spare time?

I'll be playing the video games in mind of my business, man. There's a lot going on outside. I don't want no smoke. It's too much, man. It's a lot of smoke outside. It's a smoky area. Like, I'd be just chilling, man. I play mad in.

So I got to talk about the female rap. So who are you listening to in the girls' world right now? Mano Leo. Most rapper on the earth. Shout out to Mona Leo. She's from Houston. Always Rhapsody, always got some shit out, man. She's hard.

There's a lot of, actually, like, up-and-coming females that's doing their thing. BK. the ruler. It's a lot. I can't. The list goes on. I mean, you know, everybody. Niggas loves sexy red and glow really. Always.

A vibe is a vibe. She'd be talking crazy, but I love that shit. But there's a lot of dope artists out there right now. The girl is just having the time right now for the show. Yeah, shout out to Mono. That's our girl. Shout out to Mono, man. Walet, let me ask you this.

You've been talking about growth a lot lately, right? Got the new album coming out. What this new creative space feel like? Mine, personally? Yeah. I mean, I think I'm involving as an artist. Like, Blanco is a record that I wouldn't put out two albums ago.

It's really just showing the artist's real. I don't even think that's a hip-hop song. I wouldn't consider it one, so just doing more stuff like that and experimenting with music and my instincts in the studio. What were you saying? What were you saying? Me? What was I saying?

The music's so damn loud. I'm trying to. Hey, I'm over here struggling. I don't know. I'm shudging, bro. We read and live. Damn is the instruments. What was you saying?

Now what? What? God, we literally on stage with the artists. Yeah, for sure. Whoever this is playing right now is featuring poor minds. Right now. It's your best to be, it's just, it's your set too. Oh, boy, but how does it feel to be in the game as long as you've been in the game?

And literally you went on the stage at one music fest and you really shut it down. I mean, everybody, you have their attention. You know how hard it is to get 10 people attention? And you've got thousands of people after all these years still looking at you. feel? I'm grateful. I'm just, I'm just, I'm blessed. I'm grateful. I'm humbled every time I touch the stage and see my people, very weird. Like, I really, I really like love black music. I love our culture. I love what hip-hop is done for my life and my friends live. So I give it everything I got when I'm out there doing. Yeah. But I'm a grateful to them. I feel like you definitely are

one of the very few artists that have like a cult following. Cold following. I say you have a cult following no matter what you do your listeners follow you everywhere because i went to one of your concerts last year that was so lit like everybody knew the songs bar for bar word for word and i know that has to feel amazing as an artist is it it's i'd be like i be like damn this is really my life like sometimes for real i be at a moment um and it's just the and the more you the milestones you achieve you look back at it like man they still they rock them every step you know what I'm saying Like, it's an amazing feeling, man. Mongevity is a blessing, for real.

It is. For real. It's got to work like a maniac to maintain it. I'm telling you. It comes at a cause, but I'm grateful for it. Yeah. But I'm excited to hear your new music too, because I feel like you're an artist too

who's like ever evolving. You're always evolving. I think you want to hear a lot of evolution on this one. So are all the records for the album done? Everything's done. That's done. Damn, I thought I was going to get a feature on that mom. I told me we dropped a single Friday.
